barty who doesn't speak english well at all and is super nervous on his first day at hogwarts. so he stands there, super awkward and unsure what to do, because his mother is sick and can't join him, and his father is simply too busy

he hears her before he sees her. he hears the loud laughter, and when he turns, he can see his older sister (technically aren't related, and he would never call her that to her face). emma is standing there laughing quite loudly with a ginger haired asian girl

for a moment, he thinks of speaking to her, but he decides against it. instead, he continues to stand there awkwardly

he's shaking slightly, and his mouth tastes like blood. he's nervous, so nervous

someone takes his hand. he turns his head and sees emma stand there. her cold skin feels grounding for his panicking mind. he looks at her, and she smiles back

suddenly, barty feels a whole little less anxious. he squeezes her hand and she squeezes back

he get's to sit with her and two other girls — he learns that they're named amelia and marcelina. they baby him a bit too much, and it makes his cheeks flush, but he doesn't complain

he ends up in ravenclaw (just like marcelina) and is very glad not to be completely left alone

bonus points: marcelina also speaks Italian! so he can speak to her in a language he is fully comfortable in. isn't that just great?

I’m writing a one-shot for Fates Week where I’ll be working with a fankid made for Camilla/Hinoka. I’ve had her in my head for a while, but I’ve been calling her “Millie” without thinking about how similar that name is to Camilla’s own.

Their daughter is meant to be adopted from Nohr, so I wonder if there’s another name I could use that would have less similarity and work better… does anyone want to help me pick?

At school, she was sorted into Slytherin and excelled in her classes. She played seeker, like Draco. She doesn’t much believe in blood purity and kept away from anything Dark Arts related because she didn’t want to interfere with the work her family had done to clear the Malfoy name. She took Astoria’s death hard and started obsessing over her family’s blood curse, and that she could have it, following it.

Marcelina Amelia - bardzo zdolna młoda Artystka, której pracownia znajduje się dosłownie za ścianą mojego dawnego mieszkania na ulicy Stachowicza. Więc to taka trochę sąsiedzka sesja dokumentująca jej obrazy i grafiki.

Marcelina Amelia jest absolwentką pracowni ilustracji Uniwersytetu Westminster w Londynie, który ukończyła z wyróżnieniem. Nie powinno więc dziwić, że jej prace były wielokrotnie publikowane w wielu zachodnich magazynach takich jak Vogue, The NY Times, Der Spiegel czy Digital Arts i Refinery29 by wymienić kilka. Jej twórczość została doceniona przez kuratorów Saatchi Art, którzy zaprosili ją do udziału w prestiżowej, londyńskiej edycji The Other Art Fair w 2018 roku.
