Morning Mantra: “They’re judging because you are starting over. I’m clapping because you never gave up.”
There are five important things to remember for living a fulfilling life:
Never stop dreaming.
Never stop believing.
Never stop trying.
Never give up.
And never care what other people think of your journey.
To use Mel Robbin's words, "Let them."
Let them judge your dreams, your efforts, your commitment, your methods, your energy, your failures, your mistakes, your outcomes, your behavior, your life.
Because while they are busy judging, you are busy doing. And judging never helped anyone reach their potential. Criticism never helped anyone reach their dreams.
Small minds judge, great minds lift up and cheer.

are you a person who tends to get stressed out easily? how do you do deal with it? what are you looking forward to for this new year?✨
This feels oddly pointed lol. Yes I do, I am a type A personality who struggles with perfectionist tendencies and chronic stress. CBT therapy, somatic work, breath work, EFT tapping method, cold water exposure to activate the parasympathetic nervous system(face in ice water bowl), going for walks are some of the ways I manage both my stress/anxiety and nervous system disregulation. Also I just got the "Let Them Theory" book by Mel Robbins so I am looking forward to diving into that, and think it will be super helpful!
My husband and I are planning for some pretty big but exciting changes, so I am really looking forward to that!

In this world where everyone is in a race to be better in both their personal and professional lives, in order to do so, Self-confidence and the capacity to address our concerns and face our fears are essential skills that will help them get better in their respective fields. Many people don’t know how to embrace these skills, To achieve them, you need to read books and gain insight that will help you flourish. Thankfully, there are many publications available that provide Self-esteem improvement books that will help to establish excellent insight, tactics, and inspiration for increasing confidence and eliminating fear.
Tumblr media
So, in this post, we’ll take you on a journey to discover some books that can help you acquire confidence and overcome your worries.
BOOK ONE-  Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway
Author – Susan Jeffers
Ratings – 4/5
Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway by Susan Jeffers is a book that we recommend for everyone, as it is one of the most clear and practical self-books on the market. Jeffers researches what we fear, why we fear them, and what we may do differently to assist us in defeating these anxieties. We may be afraid of losing our health, relationships, or jobs and have fears of making important decisions. Jeffers gives an approach to help us feel our concerns while taking action.
Famous quotes– “Every time you encounter something that forces you to “handle it,” your self-esteem is raised considerably, and you also learn to believe that no matter what occurs, you will survive. And in this way, your fears are diminished immeasurably.”
BOOK TWO- The Five-Second Rule
Author – Mel Robbins
Ratings – 4/5
Mel Robbins’ book The Five Second Rule teaches you how to Transform Your Life, Work, and Confidence with Everyday Courage.
This book will assist us in developing confidence to be more involved through the use of the Five-Second Rule.
Mel Robbins offers a straightforward yet effective method for overcoming fear and taking action.
Mel Robbins says that she initially began employing the 5-second rule to get out of bed, as it was tough for her to do so. The procedure was straightforward. Going reverse from 5-4-3-2-1 and acting quickly at the conclusion of the count, before the mind comes up with an excuse not to act, with the help of this book, you will be able to stop doing things that hinder your productivity and help you take action.
Famous quotes-“There’s one thing that is guaranteed to increase your feelings of control over your life: a bias toward action.”
BOOK THREE-The Confidence Code
Author – Katty Kay and Claire Shipman
Ratings – 4/5
If you have a curiosity about the psychological aspects of confidence, this is an excellent book for you, and you ought to read it.
Because women are often seen as less confident than men in the workplace, the authors assist us in discovering the elements that contribute to optimism and give practical techniques to boost our confidence and self-esteem. Famous quotes-“Gaining confidence means getting outside your comfort zone, experiencing setbacks, and, with determination, picking yourself up again.”
Famous quotes-“Gaining confidence means getting outside your comfort zone, experiencing setbacks, and, with determination, picking yourself up again.”
BOOK FOUR – “Mindset: The New Psychology of Success”
Author – Carol Dweck
Ratings – 4.1 / 5
Carol Dweck explains mindset and its impact on achievement. She also investigates motivation and attempts to understand why some individuals succeed while others fail, in addition to strategies that will help to enhance success. She distinguishes between a fixed and a progressive attitude, explains it to the audience, and gives them a clear understanding of how attitude influences perseverance and success.
Famous quotes-“True self-confidence is “the courage to be open—to welcome change and new ideas regardless of their source.” Real self-confidence is not reflected in a title, an expensive suit, a fancy car, or a series of acquisitions. It is reflected in your mindset: your readiness to grow.”
Conclusion
To summarize, the books stated above assist us in overcoming our fears and gaining self-confidence. There is no question that this trip may be difficult and will take support and understanding, and these confidence-building books will assist you in developing a more confident, courageous, and fearless expression of yourself.

Two things you may not know that can make a huge difference not just in fitness but life... Discipline Discipline is something we all know, but not something we all practice. Discipline often involves habitually doing something that you don’t like to do, in order to achieve something that you want. It typically involves a sacrifice of some sort, like sleep, time, fun or sanity. But you know you have to do it. Anyone who has competed in bodybuilding or played organized sports KNOWS that you have to get your butt to your workout or practice on time, or the consequences could be dire. Oftentimes, it could mean having to run extra laps around the track after practice is over while all of your punctual teammates get to go home, shower, eat, do their homework and go to bed. If you know that hitting the snooze button and getting up at 6:30am everyday causes you to be late on a regular basis, then you must find a way to develop the discipline to wake up at 6am in order to give yourself enough lead time to get to the gym or even work on time. Mel Robbins has a fantastic book about her method in which she “Launches” herself out of bed. I highly recommend that you check out her ‘5 Second rule’. Work Ethic When you compete not just in bodybuilding but let’s use my first love in sport as an example. Track and Field. Now in athletics at a high level, it can be a humbling experience. The first time I ran the 400-meter dash. No one told me that the 400-meter dash was an all-out sprint, so when the gun went off and I wanted to win - pushing myself was quite humbling. But also helped create my insane work ethic and desire to win. The extra effort definitely applies to the business world. I hate “working late” just as much as the next person, however sometimes, you have to put in the extra work, depending on what your goal is. For many, it may not even be putting in extra work at your corporate job, but in the gym or with your diet at home however it could be putting in additional time for a side venture. In any case, there is no substitute for hard work. 📷: @dave_laus #wintheday #maketodaygreat #discipline #workethic (at Toronto, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CN7JJtmHU8J/?igshid=1ayxwsoseys6d

Modern laziness, a chronic disease we all face.
Have you ever been caught in this situation? You had got a brilliant idea, an idea that will be the avant-garde of tomorrow (let's don't discuss on how impactful it is, but let's picture it is a great idea and is going to become tomorrow's trend if you put it into action) and you, will be the vanguard of the hottest trend. Very soon, maybe a few months or years later, that trend emerges to conquer, but ironically the one spearheading in front is not you! At this significant moment, besides feeling discombobulated, there is more repentance for your previous indicision . Mantras starting with the word perhaps will find their way into your brain, and there will be endless perhaps if I didn't hesitate...perhaps if i do it sooner... perhaps if i don't lost my attention to...
Tumblr media
But too bad, all you haven't done is being done by others.
We all experienced this situation before. The elusive moment of Eureka seldom occurs to us, but when it does, we barely put in any effort to work it out. Instead, we audaciously rest on our laurel , basking complacently in the self-admiration of being able to generate such an amazing idea. We do nothing about it. Being able to ideate is one thing, being able to execute and align the ducks in a row to slowly make things work is another thing. More often than not, eventhough we understand the old axiom that goes, 'don't count your chicken before they hatch,' and deep down inside we know that action is the key towards success, our modern laziness inherently drive us to choose to believe that nothing is greater than being able to ideate and the sheer accomplishment of producing the idea itself is incredible. Still, subconsciously, we genuinely know that something has to be done ,to lay foundation, to work out the details, to rectify some minute mistakes that occur here and there; ergo, our lizard brain will start searching for things that will keep us busy, eg. cleaning up your room, taking out trash , replying email and many more ( you count it , i name it). This ability of humanity causes to indulge in the virtual world of "I am busy doing something right now' and eventually ascribe our 'not doing anything about the idea' to reasons like i have more important stuffs to work on, it's not the right time yet,it's okay to put it aside first (no one is going to think of that anyway). With this in mind, it is not surprising at all to encounter the situation i aforementioned above.
This plight is mentioned by the American bestsellers author, Seth Godin in his Whatcha Gonna Do With That Duck?. He attributed this plight to the humanity's visceral fear for failure. In Whatch gonna do with that duck?, he sharply pointed out that it's the modern laziness ( Modern procastination) represent safety, cause if you don't accept or initiate the challenge, you will not fail at all. For him, hard work nowadays has diametrically opposite meaning:
Tumblr media
Hard work is about risk. It begins when you deal with the things that you'd rather not deal with: fear of failure, fear of standing out, fear for rejection. Hard work is about training yourself to leap over this barrier, tunnel under that barrier, drive through the other barrier. And after you've done that, to do it again the next day.
For me, hard work is also about jumping out of your comfort zone, to shoulder more that you think you can manage, to push yourself towards the brink of breakthrough and persist longer than others and you will win the race. ( Attention!! I am not encouraging you to blindly be resilient in things that will never borne fruit, but I am here to encourage you to put your nose to the grindstone for the dream you know instinctively will work)
Okay, I assume that you have been convinced and willing to take further steps to realise your goals. Here's a few tips that I personally feel it is useful to drive yourself into motion, especially when you feel like procastinating:
1.The 5 Second Rule, by Mel Robbins
It is simple. If you have an instinct to act on a goal, you must physically move within 5 seconds or you will never get started.
Check this link below to know more: https://youtu.be/sqY4hn8xOYQ
2. Culture a habit of not evading task that requires real hard work. Make efforts to notice that your lizard brain is going to find some excuses to keep you busy from the thing that really matters. Say it out loud.
Eg. If you don't want to start working on refining the project you are working on and your brain has begun telling you that there's email you need to reply, new updates in social media that you meet to catch up , groceries that you need to purchase and the list goes on. All you have to do is to acknowledge it and tell yourself that you are procastinating. It can be like :' I want to scroll through my social medias account to catch up with the interesting things that happen to my friends, but I have to work on my project. Do I have a valid-enough reason to scroll through my social media?
Don't start what you are tempted to do if you don't have a strong reason. This will help you to focus more on task at hand.
( modified , taken from Atomic Habits by James Clear)
3.The last but most useful tip. Make promises to someone important to you, maybe to do the project with her or to show her your results, or any activity related to your project. This method will force you to look directly into your project and work something out as we all hate to let someone we love down. At the end of the day, this promise-keeping method will help you to thrive and get better performance than you have expected.
I hope you enjoy reading this and let's get rid of this hindrance by implementing the tips shared above. Have a nice day!
Busy does not equal important. Measured doesn't mean mattered.-------Seth Godin
Cheers,
The Crane

2. Take actions that are in line with that wish, in small steps: it does not work overnight, it works overtime. Take positive forward action, be patient, align, SIMPLIFY, ask for help and learn to say no.
3. Look for lights on the path, examples of people who have achieved the things you’re looking forward to achieve yourself. Taking action is taking control. The littlest things make the biggest difference (it could be to simply buy yourself flowers).
Creating a fresh start with The Birthday Wish “method”. Every single day act like the person you want to become before you actually become that person. Take the steps.
Your life is a path and you’re in a car: the future is what you see through your big windshield and the past is in the small rearview mirror. Actions and attitude. Wish into a reality. One day or day one?. Voice memo from your future self in the life you have envisioned and tell yourself what it’s like.

Mindset reset - Mel Robbins
this is a free program - I know you have to sign up for it... but honestly I’ve struggled with this stuff for years after an awful marriage.
At 20 mins into this video she said something that blew my mind. I pasted in my quick notes.
visualisations are KEY - extremely powerful skill - law of attraction = the secret, manifestation or whatever its called. She calls it 'seeing signs' - create coincidences, have incredible luck, use your brain to filter stuff. The proper term is reticular activating system = networked neurons job to filter info - allows only certain information in your brain. You and the people from your past programmed it to work the way it does. So, say you believe you are worthless. Your brain will filter every single piece of evidence it sees and it will show you ALL the stuff that confirms that negative belief. If you think people at work don't like you... your brain will spend ALL day looking for evidence of this. confirmation bias - reading stuff you agree with just makes it worse imagine if your brain took in everything at equal value it would just explode. It's a protection; a filter, BUT work can fix it if it’s broken. And that begins with visualisation. she talks about how she ruined her life thinking she was worthless and a bad person. two step method. If your goal is to improve your self worth i want you to visualise what your life looks like and how you are going to feel about yourself when your self worth has improved. close your eyes and picture in your mind a specific picture of what it looks like - you'll see yourself doing the things. Consciously think of your emotions. i will be proud. i will be confident. i am getting a promotion. i just signed up another customer. i feel so good about myself. do THIS to fix that broken filter. your brain can't tell the difference between imagined slights and real ones. wake up and visualise what a  great day you WILL have. instead of looking for all the reasons to NOT speak up in a meeting you've already got your hand up.
