What Ghasts even are? I honestly don't know what to point out

They're ghostly I mean, what else am I supposed to think by seeing a pale floating creature called ghast? but not undead mobs since they don't take extra damage from healing potions/arrows nor they take extra damage from weapons enchanted with Smite

They're fire+lava proof along with shooting fireballs but still can be burned by taking damage from swords enchanted with Fire Aspect and arrows from a enchanted bow with Flame

They're one of the few mobs with self-regeneration properties, the other ones being horses, Withers and Allays (the first one being arguable if it's merely for gameplay design) but it's not something inherent on them — instead it's on their tears — since they can't regenerate themselves

They also drop powder and... actually, wtf is even that thing? The more I look at it, the more it seems contradictory

The Mobestiary (which finds itself in this weird spot of not being canon while also being the only place where it explains a bit of things) seems to claim it's a mechanical creature but even this explanation doesn't seem to explain any of it

Also, the "Uneasy Alliance" (the name by itself suggests something I'm still unsure about) says we should rescue a Ghast from the Nether to bring it to the Overworld and kill it. I don't even know where to start, let alone concluding

New baby Ghast was added, and they're super adorable!!!

But now i wonder if the baby Ghasts from Minecraft Dungeons are not canon anymore, or maybe they're translucent only in the newborn stage, and the rehydrated ones are more like toddlers? 🤔

Some homebrew Minecraft lore that I finally finished:

"During the beginning of the universe, there were only two forces, two gods; Chaos and Order. Two brothers, sisters, siblings. Both had no gender, no true form.

Both created the Overworld, a combination of both. From that The Nether and End were born soon after.

And from both came four god-like beings, four hosts, four symbols.

One tall and all seeing, knowing all potential futures, but unknowing of which will be true.

One broad and determined, able to take charge on a whim, but childlike at heart.

One short and learnt, able to create complex things out of seemingly nothing, but finds difficulty in creating.

One ⎓ᒷᖋ።ꖎᒷነነ and ነℸ።フリㅓ strong and fearless able to take challenges head on, but whose actions will scar forever.

Chaos and Order tasked them and named them.

Foresight

Action

Knowledge

And

ᒷリ↸ᒷ።

They aren't ageless nor do they age. They're observers, messengers, symbols, and everything in between.

They are neither here nor there. For their realm is beyond the knowledge of mortals.

Forever may they remain a mystery."

I like to think that The Hosts are mainly worshipped by Villagers, Illagers, and Witches while Chaos and Order are worshipped by Adventurers and Endermen. (Based off of "The End" by Catherynne M. Valente)

c!inniters water down the story so much the character are just stereotypes, and c!dreamers will burn you alive if you can't quote entire streams by heart and know even the birth dates of buildings. So, in theory, c!discdoers should be normal... right?

not really decided on what i want to do with minecraft-the-game's existence a la luke's world but by far the Funniest option (to me) would be if it existed but in like. a knockoff format. like as craftmine yknow. extremely similar to minecraft but different Enough that luke never draws the connection. like yeah sure this seems familiar but craftmine was known for everything being a rectangular prism not a cube . it didntve 'servers' it had 'spaces' . etc etc

I've already said it but I'm still unsure if Withers were that much of a threat in the past

Assuming the loot we get in Nether Fortresses and End Cities were from humans before us, I don't know exactly how they wouldn't be able to defeat a Wither. I can imagine some explanations like Wither's strength in lore not being 1:1 with their in-game strength, older Withers being bigger and harder to kill than what we know currently or even that it was spawned merely by accident which could also mean there were more than one Wither at the time

Honestly, it could be all of these but something still doesn't fully fit in my mind and I can't really point my finger to what's bothering me. I mean, we kinda have some confirmation of Withers being a threat at some point with disc 5 but I don't exactly know if it/they're The Big Bad

Sorry if this is an odd question but I am also a Christian and I personally could never draw Jesus the way you do (as a Hades character, with minecraft sheep, etc) cause I personally would see that as disrespectful.

I do not mean offense by this and I genuinely don't know how to better word this question, but why are you okay with portraying Jesus this way?

I don't really see anything inherently disrespectful about drawing Jesus in the hades art style, since it's an art style I really like. Most people who draw characters in the art style don't do it with the intent to fully integrate him into the hades canon/lore (though christianity and the hellenistic world do have very interesting ties, but that's a discussion for someone more well versed in that) and jesus with a minecraft sheep doesn't really incite any negative connotations either. It's a minecraft sheep. Because I used to come from mcyt and minecraft is still one of my favorite games.

Not fully sure what you mean by portraying him that way since the only link I guess is the more light hearted tone, and the video games inspos? Which I personally think is fine. His imagery is more normalized where I'm from so that might be why. I constantly see Jesus painted on jeeps next to marvel heroes and lebron, I see Jesus on a little postcard in a tricycle, I see him on murals painted on walls outside, he's on a cross in every classroom I enter. I guess where I'm from seeing him everywhere is just another form of worship. He's familiar to me. That's my friend Jesus Christ

OVERVIEW

Dbhc, or the Detroit Become Hermitcraft AU, is an au that started as a joke and very quickly stopped being a joke LKFJGDG It’s called Detroit Become Hermitcraft, but not really because it has anything to do with the base game DBH– really, I only yoinked and expanded on the android mechanics and inserted them into the minecraft-based world of hermitcraft. It’s an au that starts in Hermitcraft Season 8 (ie., many of the first androids were built for the beginning of s8 in this au), meaning that the seasons prior in this au do not technically have those hermits as part of their history. The Life Series are canon to this au, but like earlier hermitcraft seasons, 3rd Life is missing all of the android hermits due to it having taken place prior to HC Season 8.

I finally have some free time so let's go with some lore from Jayden's stream! (This is not in any particular order).

“Timmy (Timothee Chalamet) really made it happen for us skinny blokes/boys (?).” not gonna comment on this lmao (does he knows what a twink is? cuz I'm sure Elise can tell him /j)

There was a discussion about which Disney character he would be, the chat was going back and forth between Ariel and Rapunzel. His sister (Elise) said he would be Simba, and he said he would be Aladdin.

He also said he auditioned for Aladdin (and he met Will Smith) years ago, and he mentioned he did an audition for Hamilton too.

He sang A Whole New World, rapped, and there was a long convo about Disney movies and shows.

He's 6'1, and doesn't understand why people says he looks tiny. Also, he added that George and him are around the same height.

His siblings and him do karaoke nights (that's cool for sure, Elise also has a beautiful voice and Riley, well, he has... energy).

He was so quiet at some point at the beginning of the live, that even Elise was wondering if he was okay (he was almost having an aneurysm and I can relate lol)

He said something between the lines of "method acting is me dying right now" (the drama), he probably believed the dead boy streamer thing for a sec (but he got better at the game, he really did) still I'm not over whoever put "Jayden is playing Minecraft rn" on the chat. Gosh, I was wheezing.

They're seven siblings (?) I don't know if that's including Jayden or no (and I'm not watching the stream again rn).

They had dance routines when they were children ♡ and did every thing that you could imagine a british kid would do growing up.

They wished happy birthday to someone and then tried to sing for them too :').

There was another convo about which animal every one of them would be, but I can really remember which one they chose :/

Jayden asked Riley, his younger brother, not to breath too loudly (that's oldest sibling rights ok).

At the end of the stream, he told us that he was going to take a break for a while, and that he was grateful for all the support, and to keep sharing/streaming the show ♡

In the Grand Would Tour, mumbo said in his segment something about "uploading his brain to Minecraft" (when discussing the idea catalog machine).

But in the lore he's making, Mined (or whatever) is an incredibly shifty laboratory that's been doing experiments with mapping out the brain and swapping consciousnesses.

Mumbo hinting at his season 10 lore mayhaps?? Planning and plotting??
