Hey there lovelies! How's your week going? Are you feeling the buzz? There's been lots of news all over the world, some good, some bad, but it feels like a lot of stuff is starting to upturn, even if it's just a little. I've had a few things on my mind the last couple days and I wanted to get them out and send some love. This is a bit of a long one and it's gonna get a bit heavy, so please skip to below the === if you don't feel up for it.

CW: Intrusive Thoughts Sometimes your brain likes to tell you things that you don't really believe (or shouldn't) when things are hard. Sometimes it tells you, you're not good enough, or capable enough, or smart enough, or skilled enough, or you don't deserve good things. Sometimes it tells you things would be better for other people if you weren't around, if you quit your job, or ran away. Sometimes it tells you you don't belong where you are, for any array of reasons. Sometimes it tells you you're unforgivable, or incapable of change.

It's wrong, dearies. It's so very wrong. Your brain sometimes lies to you because it's been trained to do so. By society, by leaders, by people trying to shape you into their worldview. There's nothing wrong with you if it does, it's actually pretty darn normal to feel those things. We deal with so much anxiety in our day to day lives, and our bodies are still stuck on thousands of years of defence mechanisms, and it doesn't know how to cope with the constant micro-stressors we deal with in modern times.

So it learns and adapts to your environment. Your brain is so damn smart-- that it takes what it hears over and over and it turns that inward because it thinks that's what you need. What it doesn't know is that when life is crazy, and the world continues to be this chaotic black hole of unending bad news, it'll adapt and turn things more and more negative. That's why so many people do daily affirmations-- because you can train your brain to do AMAZING things. It takes a long time, and constant reminders, but eventually it gets easier. Toxic positivity isn't helpful, but when you have unending darkness coming in waves around you, sometimes even just a little candle of hope can keep that at bay, and eventually help break up the darkness itself.

============================= So today, I'm gonna push a couple affirmations... and they kinda show up already in my love notes here and there-- but I'd like you take a moment to say them out loud if you can, and take a deep breath in between them --Give yourself a little support for today.

Beta Daisy and Dandy

I've actually been drawing Daisy for a while so I thought that I should at least dump all the old art somewhere. Time for a trip down memory lane!

First ever drawing

Ah yes. When I promised myself not to make anymore OCs cause I already had a whole bunch of fnaf ones. So much for that.

Her colors used to be a lot less saturated which in my opinion didn't fit in with such a colorful cast. There are some parts of her outfit I kept like the overalls and her shirt. I just changed the sleeves so it actually looks like she's wearing gloves like I intended. Her attitude is pretty much the same.

Second time ever drawing Julie! This is when I started to lean into my more cartoony style for Daisy. She still never trusted Wally.

Finally leaned away from so much orange. I really liked playing around with Julie's design since she gives off Mable (Gravity Falls) vibes when it comes to fashion. Always wanting to change it up.

First time ever drawing Howdy! Really wanted to emphasize how tiny she is compared to him.

"Have you been there the whole time!?"

First Wally drawing! Sneaky little guy. Definitely wanted him to look more off-putting in this one. And new Julie outfit! This one was a little Minnie Mouse inspired getup. I also like the idea of Julie's hair always being really big.

First ever Dandy doodle! This was after I made his beta design and wanted to tease him a little since beforehand I never actually mentioned Daisy even had a brother. Speaking of which.

He used to actually be more two-faced and mean. Heck he wasn't even supposed to be living in the neighborhood originally. His appearance would've been exactly like those episodes in kids shows where a new "perfect" character is introduced but is mean behind closed doors to a certain character and the one character that doesn't like them gets brushed off as "jealous" but then it gets revealed they were bad the whole time to the others, then cue the group hug apology. Basically he would've been a meaner and more manipulative version of Daisy. Someone that really brought out her insecurities. Someone that loved being the "Better Daisy" Which is ironic considering he got replaced with a better version of him. As for his appearance I was trying to go for a more city-like look in contrast to Daisy's rough and tumble country vibe. But after a while to me it didn't feel "kid's show" enough.

Pets

I completely forgot about this drawing so I'm adding it a whole two days later. But yeah they canonically have pets. Daisy has a flytrap she named Gertrude and Dandy has his pet mouse Mortimer.

i have been trying to find this video for MONTHS. i’m almost certain it was a repost from tiktok. it was a split screen with the “main” video playing on one side, and a guy reacting to it on the other.

the “main” video was a bunch of guys in someone’s yard pretending they were playing a game with completely ridiculous, arbitrary rules. they’d each pull out a random item, do something to one or both items, each side would react as though they won or lost the round, and they’d rotate out. some rounds included a minnie mouse shaped rotary phone, opening a cd case and signing the paper inside, and whacking everything off the table with a pool noodle.

the guy reacting was narrating the whole thing like an esports commentator (“oh, i haven’t seen this opening before, that’s weird” “oh, he’s going for x strat, nice” etc.)

i’m pretty sure i reblogged it a while ago, but i don’t remember if it was tagged with anything. i’ve looked through my blog’s archive and even old discord messages to see if ive sent it to friends. if you manage to find this extremely weird video then god bless

a client walked into my office lookin' for a video of a tiktok showin' off a classic sport. now, i'm no expert on trackin' down videos. without keywords to search, this would be hard. that is, if i wasn't given the perfect lead. see, my client happened to casually mention that they reblogged it a while back. and while most detectives would get a warrant first, i took the liberty of snoopin' around the archive while my client wasn't lookin'. by filterin' for videos, i managed to track it down with ease.

"He's in the car," You pulled out your disposable and took a pull from it. You had a bad habit of smoking at any minor inconvenience. "Let's go in and meet up with everyone." You say as the boys nod and walk inside.

Once inside you find Soon and Minnie near the drinks. “Hey,” You say as you grab a cup of jungle juice. “Oh girl is higher then the clouds,” Soojin giggled as you nodded, “Damn just the clouds?” You asked taking a swig from the cup. To be honest you knew you shouldn’t over indulge yourself in your vices. But when you met Felix in his stupid blue Camero it reminded you of San. You were convinced that if he hadn’t died that night you would be with him.

You would be better off than you were without him. Then you were now. All because of that stupid drunk driver in the blue Camaro. You know it’s not Felix’s fault for having the same car that killed your boyfriend. But you hated his attitude when it came to driving and it fueled your memories.You chugged the cup and went to grab another one.

“Y/N” A familiar voice called from behind you, it was Chris and he was with a girl that looked to be around your age. “This is my little sister Hannah, Hannah this is Y/N.” Hannah stuck her hand out for you to shake. You smiled and shook it, “Hey nice to meet you.” She smiled softly and nodded, “ I actually saw you with I.N earlier and I wanted to go say hi but I got nervous.” She laughed as she confessed.

“Why would you be nervous? I’m nothing special.” You said finishing your drink and grabbing another one. “Y/N calm down this is your 3rd drink.” Soojin interfered. You shook your head, “ I’m fine” Hannah’s phone rang and she excused herself to answer it. You wandered off around the party to find I.N. You figured you could’ve asked someone but you forgot.

You wanted to forget San, not how to be a basic human being. You chugged your third drink and tossed the cup. Eventually you see someone who you recognized. You made your way towards the couch and sat down next to them. “Y/N?” That’s not the voice you wanted to hear, you took your disposable out again. Took a long pull and put it away.

“Yeah?” Your voice slightly slurred now. Maybe you should have paced yourself. Especially on the first night with the new people you met. But you couldn’t help it. You wanted to forget the heartbreak, and the unexpected and horrible reminder of it. “Are you okay?” You nodded. Your eyes glossed beyond belief. “I would be if it wasn’t for that fucking car.” You mumbled to yourself thinking about San.

It was a lie and you knew it. You broken way before San came into and out of your life. You grew used to the pain your parents caused you. But the pain of losing him cut you deep. Too deep. “Oh get over it will you. So what I parked bad.” Felix said rolling his eyes. His hand on his drink. “What? No not you. That jack ass in the blue Camero.”

To anyone who didn’t know it sounded like you were talking about Felix. You knew. You knew it wasn’t about him. “That blue Camero and Overindulgence.” You said, “That fucking car killed him, that and the fucking drunk.” The last part came out almost silent. Almost.

at first i had a hard time figuring out who you would pair well with, violet, but then it hit my like a train - the answer was so clear in my head - nebula!

if there's any case of opposites attract in exsistence, it would be the two of you. as we know, nebula is gruff, definitely morally gray, not paticularly chatty, but most of all traumatized. she doesn't like to let people into her life and when people try to pry into her psyche and try to help, she usually lashes back at them. but with you, it's different.

nebula is used to ignoring her personal health and wellness to either help others or complete their own personal goals (thanos, ronan, quill). having someone who was helping her, not because they were annoyed by her behavior or just wanted her to be less of herself, would mean a lot to her. after years of not looking out for herself, it would be a nice change to have someone who really cares about her like you would. i think you would also be able to introduce her to a different perspective. you seem like someone who knows who they are, and she would greatly appreciate that seeing as she's never gotten a chance to understand herself. you would think that she would hate your stickers and jewelry and crafts, but secretly, she adores them (would probably steal a bracelet of yours, here and there, when she can). she would also probably not accept food from others, but perhaps at the smell of your cooking, she'd walk over and grab a bite.

i see you as a member of the guardians - how you joined, i've no clue, you can leave that up to yourself. you're probably close with mantis and drax, and while you enjoy spending time with your friends, you also like to spend time alone. nebula likes to watch you while you craft and when you cook - she probably has the biggest crush on you and for a while, i don't think she'd even realize it. but once she does, she becomes very overprotective, almost toxically territorial. one time you find her sitting in the hanger by herself, so you sit down with her. it's "night" (although there's not really night in space) and everyone else is asleep. you expected her to sit there with you in peaceful silence but she actually opens up to you. about her past, about how she thinks of herself - she asks you how you find happiness? she'd be inspired by whatever answer you'd give - and after that night, slowly, she would gain the confidence to join you in your hobbies. she would wear any bracelets you give to her and taste test new recipes you would try (warning: she's brutally honest, however, she tries her best to be softer with you). she smiles with you, she laughs with you. one night, you're sitting in the hangar yet again when she asks you, "have you ever felt love? real love?" because she's not sure she's ever felt it. and it's as she's watching you answer she realizes that you were the one that made her feel true love and she would cut you off with a kiss.

around you, she is truly herself - almost unrecognizable. teasing, smiley, playful, soft. i think the two of you would bring out the best in each other <333

Stays, can we please stop with this Troye Sivan hate.

I have been a fan of Troye Sivan (I am not using the word fan lightly, I listen to his music religiously, and it got me through so much) for a lot longer than I have been a fan of Kpop, and not only does it annoy me but it also makes me sad to see all this hate going to someone that most of y'all barely know.

And I know there are some Stays that aren't hating on him, and although that's much more appreciated, it's still a little annoying that's he's no longer known for anything but Hyunjin. Like have you guys tried looking through the comment section for his tiktoks that have nothing to do with kpop? I literally have to scroll for years to find one that doesn't say "Have you found Hyunjin yet?" or "Do the S-class challenge!" I'm not trying to hate on the people that leave these comments cause I understand that most of you have only found him recently (through Hyunjin or another kpop idol) and don't really know him or listen to his music, so I get why you don't see any wrong in it, but from a fan who has been here for a long time, it is getting very old and very annoying.

Also, do you know how sad it must be to be Hyunjin right now? Imagine being a fan of someone (from what I've picked up, he's the biggest fan out of Stray Kids, but don't quote me on that) and finally interacting with them, and then seeing all of your fans hate on that person because of the interaction. That would be devastating.

But it's probably not only Hyunjin, or even Stray Kids in general. There are so many idols that y'all are probably pissing off right now, for example:

If I could choose to know the truth behind one of taekook's moments, I would definitely choose this one. I still remember the shock when I saw the tiktok, I don't know if this happened after Jungkook first returned in Korea from Qatar, because the clothes look the same.

However, the Celine sweatshirt that Taehyung is wearing seems to also be present in stores in Qatar (even online) and if I remember correctly, the second time Jungkook was in Qatar he visited a mall purchasing only from Celine and Balenciaga. What if Taehyung's sweatshirt was a gift from Jungkook? (This is not unusual.)

In this case their visit to the Paradise hotel would have happened after the second return from Qatar.

Anyway I find it truly romantic and certainly not a "bros" thing, I never understood if the video was shot at dawn or dusk, but in any case they must have spent the whole night or morning together doing something special 🥺

Can we talk about how luxurious and expensive this suite is? The only master bedroom and large bathtub are very romantic, it's certainly not the place I would go with a friend for a night or a weekend.

It also may be possible that they rented the suite to take photos since it is quite a famous place among VIPs (if I remember correctly I think I saw some pics of Miyeon or Minnie from G-idle in that place) but I don't think this is the case...

I think my feelings on people arguing over if AEW or WWE is better is that one scene from the mickey mouse cartoon where Minnie Mouse finds a hat that is just the same hat she's wearing on her head & the group with her is like "oh I dont know maybe you should try it on..." & stuff ,

meanwhile Donald Duck, is like "ITS THE SAME HAT." over & over.

I'm Donald. except instead of hats, its pro wrestling. Its the SAME stuff. Its different companies & different styles of showing off stuff & different people but ITS PRO WRESTLING. ITS THE SAME OVER THE TOP VIOLENT SPORTS THEATER.

And I may say "Oh I perfer this stuff in AEW" or "I like this person in WWE" or "My favorite pro wrestler of all time is in AEW" or "Oh my gosh that match in wwe was the coolest ever!" but I just like them both in the end because they're both pro wrestling. Its more pro wrestling for me to enjoy. Same with other companies like NJPW, Impact/TNA (so happy more cool stuff is coming soon for them!) , Dragon Gate, ROH, and so much more !

I'm not saying "Oh! You dont like that company? Well you're bad!" You're fine to not like it, I'm just refering to the people who are like "Oh this guy who is super big star is signed with this comapny now! This company is trash now! Its gonna fail & die out! Haha!" & people who always focus on view counts and say "LOOK! This airing got a lot of people more watching than this show! They are failing!"

I wouldn't say that's failing. I would say all of that is pro wrestling is doing wonderful !

In the end for me, I just love pro wrestling & I'm just happy that I'm a pro wrestling fan in this age as there is so much content to watch (though a bit TOO much because I cant keep up with the fun madness AAAAA ) And I just find it silly that some people instead of enjoying it are just wishing the downfall of stuff! I

I only mentioned on twitter that I dont talk about it much anymore given on twitter the fanbase there is a nightmare and people are scary (seriously compared to ANY fanbase Ive ever been in , sports fanbases especially pro wrestling where people REAAALLLY dont understand the "entertainment" part a lot of the time can be nuts. Especailly a shame given sometimes I really do want to talk about pro wrestling given its one of my all time favorite things & then I got people who just call me things just because my favorite wrestler either hasn't done much, isnt a champion, or isnt in their "favorite company"

Like bruh . If it makes you that miserable to just randomly comment on someones post talking about their favorite person like that why ya a fan . I used to be a huge fan of overwatch , still love the characters (after all i have two characters, one being one of my main online personas ) & such but I dropped the game because it made me miserable & that wasnt good for my mental health which then effect my physical. same with tiktok. I had 55k+ followers on there, that was my biggest following count on any social media site, but I dropped that shit because I was getting physically in pain from headaches from stress & being upset from that place & deleted that app & my account that had that many on there.

No, I'm gonna talk about The Help.

Basically, I saw a tiktok of a woman saying she didn't really like the help because it was a white savior story. I tried to go find the video, but I couldn't.

But, yeah, 700% agree. I read the whole thing and learned so little about the maids, even Aibileen and Minny who are narrators, but I know all about the love life and friendships and relationship with her mother Skeeter (the white protagonist) has.

Aibileens dead son is a plot device to inspire skeeter to write a book basically. Minny's children aren't important characters, and her husband is only important because he abuses her. Aibileen spends a good portion of her sections talking about how much she loves the white baby she's taking care of, Constantine's love and service to Skeeter is one of her only traits written in the book even though Aibileen and Minny knew her, and Minny spends half the book loving on her white boss worrying about protecting her feelings.

Idk I could say a lot because any parts of the book actually about racism are secondary to Skeeter's personal life and the praise and worship of other individual white women and girls in the book.

The book isn't about real tangible racism. It's a kumbaya we're not so different after all book. I didn't know the book was written by a white woman until last week.

Hey y'all!

I just wanted to talk about an issue that I've been personally facing. Very often, whenever I'm looking at trans tiktoks, most of the time, it's only skinny, muscular guys, not that there is any problem with that! It's awesome!!!! But I have found that looking at all these people, I start to feel very insecure about myself.

I am not a "skinny minnie" as my mum says. I am very self conscious about my hips and my thighs, as they give me a very feminine appearance. I sometimes feel like I will never be able to pass as a guy, because people will just assume because of how my body looks. I have already experienced this at my school, and I get worried that this will happen to me forever.

My friends are super supportive, including my boyfriend, which helps like crazy!! Speaking of things that I find helpful for ⭐mentally passing⭐, I'll list a few!

I find it incredibly awesome to wear some kind of belt (my favorite being one that's black with white belt buckle hole things!) just because it feels like a staple masc part of an outfit to my brain!

Another thing that I find helps is wearing really colorful jewelry, like rainbow dog tags, rainbow bracelets, or really funky rings! I usually have them set out in a spot where I always see them, and I immediately put them on first thing in the morning.

Shoes that make you happy! I have a pair of butter orange converse that I usually wear in the summer, and late fall. Bonus for me, pairing funky boots with equally funky socks! My favorite pair being Nightmare Before Christmas ankle socks!

Always have a hoodie or jacket on hand! Ever feeling super, shmooper dysphoric? Feeling super wrong? Just find yourself a comfy hoodie, jacket, vest, or whatever! My three favorite dysphoria reliving jackets are a black jean jacket, with various pins, a burgundy red zip up hoodie, and a hand me down vest with even more weird pins on it! I find that this relives most forms of dysphoria I experience.

I hope this list helps some of my fellow trans mascs, or just fellow trans people in general! Most of these tips are relating to trans guys, as I, myself am one, but any of these could help you! I always enjoy talking about my experiences, and if any of my tips help, I'm glad they do!
