Welcome to Featured Fic Friday! A day where I, or someone who suggests one, tell you about a fanfic that I really enjoy! Spoiler's under the cut! Today's featured fic is...
Working (or running away) by AnisEileen (Not Rated, Complete)
Ink is tired. When was the last time he took his paints? He couldn't remember. It didn't mean much, so he reached for his scarf. Ah. The scarf was white. So, it probably was pretty bad.
A short fic, I really enjoy how the author begins the story! The way that the sentences are structured, short & to the point, adds to the feeling of detachment!
Although not sticking to canon, the concept behind the fic is intriguing! Instead of becoming an empty shell of himself, Ink starts to have a single-minded focus, forgetting things more easily!
Spoilers ahead!
I love how the author has Ink list out all the things that he remembers, slowly becoming more emotional as he continues, even if he himself doesn't realize it!
Him feeling upset since he forgot his friends, even if only temporarily, is a nice touch as well! Especially when you consider that it's possible Ink has a fear of being forgotten!

Hi do you guys have any plan to translate the bonus vol 15.5 as well? Apparently my country's publisher does not have permission to release them here😭
Yes we definitely plan to work on Volume 15.5! When we'll release the chapters + other scans depends on when our copy of Volume 15 arrives + how we juggle the release schedule and member availability with the main manga translation, but we're keen to get out like we did with Nozaki-san!
