♡ ⁔⁔ IMPURANGELIC ... !!
[PT: Impurangelic. End PT]
— A gender related to impurity and angels. This gender is the feeling one may have of feeling defiled or impure, while wishing they could go back to when they were pure. This gender is also related to the song "Pure as a Lamb" by Baby Bugs, fallen angels, mourning over what could have been. It embodies mourning, melancholy, and a wish for a softer reality.
— This gender was created with trauma survivors in mind, and I would prefer if only trauma survivors use it. Despite the religious themes to it, it is not exclusive to religious trauma survivors. This term was not created to aestheticize, glamorize, or romanticize trauma; it was created for coping reasons. The use of the word "impure" is not meant to be derogatory, nor is it meant to promote or romanticize unhealthy mindsets. Once again, this is a term created by a trauma survivor to cope with feelings related to their trauma.

i genuinely find "non-binary are included in all orientations by default" a weird way of putting things, even if you then say that individual non-binary will not feel comfortable being included in certain orientations and that's fine.
why can't we just say that orientations aren't as rigid as they're made out to be? why can't we just say that orientation and the inclusion of non-binary people is complicated?
non-binary people aren't anything "by default".

i've been posting a lot here lmao treating this app like twitter on god
anyways i'm not gonna lie i hate tests surveys that ask your gender. not in a transphobic way. more of like an uhhhh i feel completely separate from the concept of gender entirely
you could say i'm non-binary spec but i also don't like using non-binary or agender to describe myself — i guess because it implies that there is a gender binary or spectrum that i'm specifically separate from. even if i'm not part of it, it existing would be how i'd identify that i'm not part of it to begin with. or at least that's how i'd personally feel if i used those terms to describe myself.
i also don't like "other: (please insert)/custom" responses because similarly, that implies i have a gender that is somehow correlated to the spectrum, even if not part of it
i don't like "prefer not to say" because that implies i have one and just would rather not share
i'm not unlabeled. i realise i technically am, because i don't have a proper word to describe myself, but it's not like it's an active choice of mine to identify as unlabeled. especially because that also implies i'm something, even if it can't be quantified adequately. unless i'm getting it wrong, i could totally be wrong in that
i dunno if any of this makes sense, i haven't quite figured out how to fully put my feelings into thought and verbalise on this yet
i'm not saying these options shouldn't exist, but i am saying i'd like there to be an "n/a" button. because this question is simply not applicable to me. i am completely removed from the concepts of both having a gender, and being genderless. i am not gendervoid, because there is no blank space where gender would otherwise be. i'm not gender neutral, because i don't feel neutrally in terms of gender
oh well

🎀🌂Lucemasculine🌂🎀
🩷 Lucemasculine (loose-eh-masculine): a gender that feels masculine, but with minimal ties to agenderness - like libramasculine, but where one feels much more masculine than they do nonbinary/agender. 🩷
💜 coined by me, self-indulgent 💜
more details below cut:
🩷 alternatives: lucemasc, luceboy, lucemale, luceman, etc. 🩷
💜 Etymology: from "translucent" and "masculine". based on me trying to describe this feeling "like my boyhood/masculinity is at 90% opacity (hence, translucent). also meant to mirror "libramasculine"'s "L" consonant sound on account of me thinking of this like "reverse libramasculine". 💜

honestly xenogenders are so much more than genders to me. like, before i found out about them and the opportunity they provided me, i never even thought about gender. i was completely unaware of it, my gender was just autopilot girl but now, and please pardon the horrible metaphor, i feel like i’m off autopilot. like im kind of flying free and in control because now im not just a girl who was gender apathetic, im not just a girl because thats what they said i was when i was born, im a girl because of the beauty of so many things that inspire me and that’s such a deeply freeing thing. thinking of xenogenders and my gender experience in general calms me so much when i’m feeling stressed and depressed, it gives me a sense of purpose, like the other day my ocd was acting up and i was..... just not in a good place and one of the biggest things that got me through it was just like.... thinking about the gender euphoria i get from abstract things, i just feel like xenogenders and just generally the way i’ve learned to describe gender has given me so much more connection to who i am as a person and i love it so much. feel free to add onto this post with your own positive experiences with xenos and such!

I know “neurogender” is generally treated more as an umbrella label but personally I find it extremely helpful to use as an identity in and of itself as someone with multiple nuerodivergencies. I don’t always know where one begins and where one ends. I also am not sure those distinctions are useful when it comes to my gender.
I also want to bring forward that label as a companion to “genderqueer” as they feel like cousins to me. I think normalizing the idea that ANY neurotype difference could impact the way anyone experiences gender is important and that it is important to understand that intersection of identities.

if someone asks me to use they/them - I will try and be polite (especially irl). What I won’t bother to use is neo pronouns for two reasons:
It’s too difficult to work out how to use them and remember how to pronounce them correctly. It’s a lot of mental effort to change the way people use basic language, this is why even well-meaning still struggle to use singular they/them. It’s not always from a place of hatred. The language part of the brain is developed very early on and it’s difficult to learn to change it, hence why it’s harder to learn new languages as an adult vs a child.
I already struggle with speech. I have a mild speech impediment - I’m not gonna make myself sound more retarded just for you. I’ll default to they/them if you ask for neo pronouns.

Anyway I love you pan, I love you omni, I love you p(o)ly, I love you abro, I love you pomo, I love you mspec lesbians, I love you mspec gays, I love you mspec identities that have faced horrific discourse and been accused of being "bi/lesbo/homo/transphobic" for things out of your control, and I love you mspec identities that help to give people more accurate labels for their feelings
We are all so damn cool and our histories all run much deeper and have way more meaning than what any sad exclusionists try to give us
Our identities have a place in the community, and we're damn well going to stay where we feel we belong
We aren't hurting anyone by simply existing. We are creating a better diversity in the spaces we visit. We are broadening the horizons more by existing and talking with our fellow queer and gay folk.
Our identities are more than discourse points. Our identities are more than the "worst" parts of our (old) definitions. Our identities are real, good, and beautiful.
Our identities belong. You belong. Don't let any damn nitpicky ahistorical exclusionist try to tell you otherwise.
And before I go, I love you mspec solidarity, including solidarity with our bi siblings, friends, companions and lovers.
Have a great day y'all
#Jean mumbles#Mspec positivity#Mspec solidarity#I was having thoughts last night about bi and pan and general mspec stuff#And how other mspec identities that aren't bi are actually literally so important#Because as someone who used to id as bi - it was something that never fit quite right#It was like a comfy sweater that was just a size too small#And then I found the pan label and was like wait! That's me!! I don't have a preference for the gender of my S/O!#That's something I don't really take into consideration!#And then I heard stuff how ''well that's just being bi'' ''you're not pan - that's not real. you're JUST bi'' ''why don't you just be bi''#Because while ''attraction to all genders/regardless of gender'' can be *a* bi definition#It's not THE definition. There really isn't a concrete bi definition#And that's super cool and awesome! I love that! Bi can be whatever you want it to be!#But it's also just a bit too broad for someone like me#There's almost too many definitions for me you know?#Meanwhile with pan and a ton of other mspec identities - we all have much more solid definitions#That's the beauty of micro/umbrella labels for me honestly#Because while I could identify as bi - I can also identify as pan - because both identities have the ability to use the same definition#While still being their own identities#Much like how a bi person can say they're only attracted to men and genderqueer and nonbinary and various MOGAI genders#Much like how a gay/vincian person ALSO could do that#And they'd still be their own identities#All the shades of purple have their own names. But they all still are broadly known as ''shades of purple''#Like. It literally takes not a lot of energy to realize this#To realize that other mspec identities DO serve a purpose in being here#And it's to give those of us that want a more specific label#A more specific label!!#Even if we fumble with definitions every now and then#We still have listened to each other and grown better because of it#But some people don't want to see that

okay i love strange æons as much as the next tumblr user but i cannot emphasize how much i do not want to hear a cis person’s opinion on mogai genders. i’m sick of cis people inserting themselves into issues that do not, and should not, concern them
