Its a first person retro shooter thats literally the mix of doom and devil may cry. You are a machine of war powered by blood descending to hell because earth has no more blood left to give.
Tldr the kind of experience you should expect :
First person shooter with smooth performance and movement
A decent sized yet unique arsenal. It doesnt have 20 million guns that does damage the same way so it doesnt overwhelm you with choice. The guns you do have can also interact with other guns you have for combos.
Devil May Cry style meter. The more stylish/creative/multi combo with multi weapons you play, number goes up
Extremely satisfying SFX
AMAZING MUSIC. LIKE HOLY SHIT GO CHECK OUT THE OST PLEASE.
It has HITSTOP. For when you nail insane combos
The levels are chapter like and short! You dont have to devote alot of time to feel its best moments!
It has minimal cutscene moments. How fast you can kill or finish levels depends almost entirely on you.
Theres almost no limitations for anything. The devs dont try to force you to watch a slow cutscene or play the game a certain way. Literally go nuts.
PERFECTLY FUNCTIONAL. NO GAME BREAKING BUGS. ULTRAKILL PERFORMS EXTREMELY WELL FOR AN INDIE EARLY ACCESS GAME
[WARNING] for flashing images and alot of overwhelming action. This game is built for speedrunning in the most convoluted way. Its basically the ADHD shooter game.
I HIGHLY recommend it because it is such a unique experience to me that is able to capture the genuine feeling of satisfaction over overcoming a challenge.

hello! i took a poetry class and it was p cool but we never really learned how to tell stressed and unstressed syllables apart. what's your trick?
I don't really have a trick and I don't remember if I ever had to learn to tell them apart, but I can try to explain how I think about it.
In multi-syllable English words, having stress on a particular syllable is part of the word - just as much as, say, starting with b is part of the word; for some words, like proDUCE versus PROduce, if you change the stress it becomes a different word. The stressed syllable is the one that's usually pronounced a little higher-pitched, a little longer, and/or a little louder (if you shout the word or imagine shouting it, the difference in volume might become more apparent). You can look it up in a dictionary if you're struggling to figure out what to listen for or if you're still learning English. Typically there's one stressed syllable in each word, but often in a longer word you can optionally give a smaller, less prominent stress to another syllable too.
For one-syllable words it's a bit more open-to-interpretation; in a series of one-syllable words the stressed syllables are just the ones that are emphasized when you say it out loud, and obviously it's possible to read a sentence several different ways with different emphasis, although you'll find that content words (such as nouns and verbs) are more often stressed and function words (such as prepositions) are more often unstressed . Saying it aloud in the way that sounds most natural to you is a good start. (The most natural accentuation might not always fit the basic metrical pattern, as you'll notice once you get a feel for the metrical pattern of the poem you're reading – you could see those divergences as variation in the meter, and/or just as the meter encouraging you to emphasize things in a particular way.)

DETECTING AI IN SPELL INCANTATIONS
as someone who has trained multiple ais to write incantations now and engaged with every foundation model and multiple popular data generation frameworks in data generation and testing, I can tell you a spells incantation *might* be AI if it:
Seems a bit long, but on close inspection, multiple couplets express the same idea, restated in a different rhyme.
Each pair of couplets in a multi-couplet-pair incantation express the complete intention with such granularity that they could be removed and used as standalone tinies, or swapped out without the functionality of the spell being damaged, with the complete incantation being a stack of tinies when examined for how much of the structure is used for expression of intention. I find llms have a bad habit of writing fully passable single lines or couplets but the density of how much of the intention is expressed is very high per couplet, and the llm doesn't tend as much towards expressing a single intention across multiple couplets or using very witchlike strategies to add clauses; I.E, each line or couplet is a whole restatement of the same complete intention, with many lines being magically redundant, and less lines than one would expect spend on clauses or conditions.
rhymes, but the sentences themselves don't make situational, magical sense for the intention, or in some cases, express the intention in such a way that it is negated by the structure of the language used to express it; i,e, described in a way that would keep it from happening if interpreted literally
the words used to complete the rhyme either don't make sense as a completion for the sentence up until that point, or break meter egregiously in order to perform the rhyme completion with lines that have significantly more beats than prior lines, this is especially evident with very simple, straight forward words to rhyme, like "See" and "me", because LLMs are known to perform motivated reasoning in the case of rhymes, and will start with the completion, and work their way backwards. This can write poetry people respond to favorably in studies, but it does tend to either bork meter somewhat (and may do so artfully, adding beats in multiples compatible with the overall meters rhythm if not retaining parity with the rest of its overall structure) or, in the case of spells, complete rhymes in a way that express the desire for the intention, but not the intention being made manifest.
uses multiple popular ending terms from different styles on different lines; uses "so mote it be" to complete a rhyme, or "and so it is" on another, or "may it be" etc. LLMs fucking love "so may it be" and have a bad habit of ending rhymes for "me" "see" "we" and "thee" with it.
Minor mention: LLMS *tend* toward problems with reliably rhyming in ABBA or ABAB and tend to prefer AABB by default in my experience, but we can't very well say AABB by itself is by any means a metric that should suggest on its own that an ai has written the text; a LOT of people use AABB and that's one reason why llms "like" them so much.
as stated before, llms like to state the entire intention as a single line or couplet, but have a lot of trouble "extending" the expression of the intention across the entire body of couplets in a very humanlike way, and may show a high degree of replication in complete expressions of intention for line count as opposed to artfully composing many couplets expressing a single intention.
OR if instead of an incantation it just says "I am a language model. I cannot help you with that." that's a pretty solid one, really.
As I said, I've fucked about with a lot of llms, and don't personally think theirs anything inherently wrong in using generated incantations, if they're good and make good sense, (words are construed to have power after all and they're just language emulators and language is just a carrier for information so like. whatever) BUT these are the things I have noticed in the course of my experiments so, if you're concerned, for instance, that a book of incantations or a magical profile on social media or a something may be ai generated, you will probably see these kinds of patterns if it is.

One thing I would like to see for a Stories 3 would be some more mainline weapon types be translated into the RPG format
Like keep the basic three attack time formula already in place for MHS 2 but I’d love some more weapon variety but anyways here’s my take on how some of these would work
Duel Blades: (Damage Type: Slashing) Work similarly to S&SH but at the cost of defense for more attack (But still not as strong as stuff like the LS or GS). Focuses a lot on multiple hits with each attack and skill that while not for a lot for a single hit, do build up together.
Switch Axe (Damage Type: (Sword mode) Slashing/ Blunt (Axe Mode) ) A really interesting one since idk why but translating the Switch Axe would be neat to have it change modes and damage types when done. By default the switch axe will be in Axe Mode at the start of battle but can be switched to Sword Mode by filling up its respective gauge to a certain point (By winning HtHs). While in Sword Mode, the Switch Axe will also gain access to its respective phial, giving it a secondary effect while in use. However it should be noted that the Sword Form is limited by a set number of turns before it will revert back to Axe Mode as determined by its respective meter. Using certain Phial related skills in Sword Mode will drastically reduce the gage by a certain amount depending on the skill used.
Tonfa: (Attack Type: Piercing): Works a bit like the Duel Blades as all attacks are considered a multi-hit but also allows the Rider to have a given chance to dodge an attack. Gauge charges up from winning HtHs. Breaking a part with a Tonfa will also score you some extra damage
Long Sword (Attack Type: Slashing): Works similar to the Greatsword but with some changes. Namely this weapon can hit multiple monsters in a row (However this still factors in weapon effectiveness) but damage to the non-targeted monsters will be reduced.
Insect Glave (Attack type: Slashing):
The Kinsect functions a bit like the bow from MHS2. You can use up a turn to send out the Kinsect for 3-4 turns after charging up the gauge enough. The Kinsect will attack after the end of a turn and doing so will raise your kinship gauge by a bit. You will also get a passive boost while it is out on the field. The Kinsect’s damage and extract abilities are determined on the weapon’s elemental type and abilities.

HEYA HI HO SUP!! This isn't my first fighting game OC, I've made one for Blazblue before, but I'm happy to announce I've finally made one for my favorite fighting game: Under Night In-Birth!!! Who sadly has no design yet :( but she does have a crystal ball for a weapon! :D
So to start off, Clara the Enigma gets her name from her EXS - The EXS of Broken Memories: Enigma - after surviving a Void bite, her EXS awakened in a rather unusual way... she slowly yet surely began to lose the memories she's had of her past self, still remembering the information she's accumulated, but not remember how she obtained it or why. She couldn't tell you anything about her personal life or her past if she tried! Her EXS uses her memories, taking the form of broken shards of glass that when peered into allow you to see the events that Clara has lived through! Except when she looks into the glass, all she sees is static... Hell, Clara might not even be her real name, she just chose it because she sort of *needed* one if she wanted to join the Licht Kreis - an organization she joined for her own safety. Clara has been making her way through the ranks, not very quickly, but she's getting there! Right now she's hoping to upgrade from being a Scout to being an Executor, but she needed to prove herself worthy of such a feat... and she'd do so by taking down Hilda the Paradox/Kuon the Aeon, both to get that promotion and maybe get a hint as to where to find her memories!
Her playstyle is mainly focused on setting up Overstimulation - her unique mechanic! Overstimulation is a status effect that doesn't immediately go away upon Clara getting hit, but rather gets lowered if she's hit. It functions like another meter to manage that fills up the more specials and Force Functions Clara hits you with, having 3 levels. This is tied to Clara's [4]6B+C, a special that costs 100 meter to use and 43 frames of charging that deals damage based on what level the opponent's Overstimulation is at, with 0 levels dealing literally 75 damage, 1 level dealing a pathetic 150, 2 levels dealing 400, and 3 levels dealing 825 damage - this does not go down with combo scaling, and that's why it takes 15 specials/Force Functions (they are required to actually HIT. Not blocked. HIT. If they're multi-hits, it counts as one). Not to fill up the bar all the way. She has a teleport dash by the way, and thus her dash normals can be a bit tricky...
Her Vorpal trait allows her to kara cancel the first 2 frames of her 6B, 6C and the last 2 hits of her rekka to maybe squeeze in one last special or Force Function in a combo - or more easily start a combo off of those buttons!
NORMALS
5A - a jab that hits farther than most 5As in the game, this is because Clara uses her psychic powers to just chuck the ball at her opponent. Does not reach as far as Byakuya's thankfully!
5B - a long reach spike made from Clara's memory glass, hits thrice!
5C - Clara sends out a shard of glass and lets it spin around for a little bit, Chain Shifting this still allows the piece of glass to remain spinning.
1A - Clara's fastest and least damaging normal, being just a simple glass flick that doesn't reach very far and leads to abysmal reward as it only really confirms into 2A or Smart Steer.
2A - A simple kick.
2B - A simple glass slash that hits mid.
2C - Clara sends forth a wave of glass to fuck up your opponent's shins!
3C - Clara erects a pillar of glass to launch the opponent upward, to nobody's surprise - it is jump cancellable!
6B - Clara does a quick jump forward before waving her hand to make a thin wall of glass.
6C - The little forward advancing overhead kick that could :)
66B - A projectile made of glass that doesn't hit roundstart but has high projectile priority.
66C - Clara falls down to the ground and makes a circle of glass around herself!
j.A - Just a simple smack.
j.B - Air-to-air sheet of glass!
j.4B - The crystal ball does a few good smacks, hitting in front, then above, and then below!
j.C - Jump-in using a ray of light from a shard of glass!
j.2C - You know Izanami's j.2C or Strive Bridget's j.D? Yeah, that but with glass shards.
FORCE FUNCTIONS:
B+C - An invincible orb of glass forms around Clara, acting as her only reversal!
66B+C - She tries to dunk her crystal ball over the opponent's head, acting as her overhead that's pretty damn minus.
2B+C - CRYSTAL BALL KNEE STRIKE!!! (Very minus on block, but staggers opponent on hit)
j.B+C - Clara encases herself in ice and then bounces off either the floor or the opponent, acting as a combo starter and extender.
j.4B+C - Clara dashes back before encasing herself in glass
SPECIALS:
Fragmented Tragedy (623X) - The start of her rekka! She bashes the opponent with a half circle of glass. A version is faster, B version is chargeable, C version is special cancellable and wall bounces.
Fragmented Tragedy: Disaster (236X~236X) - She dashes forward a bit and does a move akin to Carmine's 6C, the button you use has so effect on what it does.
Fragmented Tragedy: Disaster and Acceptance (236X~236X~236X) - Clara bursts forward and then throws her crystal ball, rebounding it back once it hits.
Epiphany Cometh (214X) - Clara creates a wall of glass. A version creates it half-roundstart distance and vacuums the opponent while also whiffing if the opponent is too close or far, B version is the same except charging it changes the range - it can hit both farther and closer than 214A, C version tracks the opponent but doesn't guarantee they get vacuumed right into Clara.
Gaze of the Deep ([2]8X) - GIVING BBCF NINE FLASHBACKS! A version is just a standard combo ender (except it cancels into [4]6B+C), B version when charged is an overhead, C version is an overhead that hits thrice!
Empty and Hollow (22X) - A zoning tool that's really not as good as you wish it was, Clara uses a shard of glass to reflect a beam of light into her opponent. A version is very thin and hits in front of her but doesn't even reach half screen, B version anti-airs, and the C version is a full screen beam. They do not combo into anything and can't be comboed into, they're made to be thrown out raw.
Pendant (j.623X) - A divekick where Clara encapsulates herself in glass before diving down. A version isn't special, neither is the B version, but the C version is actually a parry instead of a divekick! Once triggered, Clara will sideswap and enclose her opponent in an ice sculpture before sweeping it and breaking the glass.
Revelation ([4]6B+C) - This special hits from anywhere on screen with a very obvious tell, being about -67 on whiff/block, so be careful. Clara forms a ball of physic energy within her hand, and then it disperses and deals damage depending on the Overstimulation level of her opponent! It will always drains the whole bar even though it wouldn't have any effect.
INFINITE WORTHS
Past, Future, and Present (41236D) - Clara floats into the air and surrounds herself with glass shards strewn about, akin to White Album from JoJo Part 5. Then light beams into the shards and hits all around Clara, working as a reversal but nothing else really due to its limited range.
Ahead to the Future (A+B+C+D) - Clara surrounds herself in a beam of light, and should it hit... Clara will create a massive ball of glass, using literally every memory she's ever had all into one single attack, and then she crashes it down on the opponent - making an explosion of rainbow light.
