How do pro consoles affect what happens to developing games if any, considering you have to make a game that also has to work on the less powerful console.

We typically have a "target" platform that we're primarily aiming at. That's what gets the majority of the work, that's what we build our stuff on. That might be the PS5, the PC, or whatever. Our target platform is typically the platform we believe will make up the largest percentage of our player base. We make all of our stuff work on that platform first and foremost. Then, we have our artists and engineers do extras and optimization (depending on the budget) for the other platforms. Most of the time that means paring things down for weaker platforms like the Switch or min-spec PCs, but it also means adding in the extra visual bells and whistles for the enthusiast PC with beefier specs and/or the Pro version of game consoles. The general priorities are, in order:

Make it work

Make it fast

Make it pretty

You can probably guess where work for the "pro" consoles fall in the priority list.

I never had a breakdown over you SB me I had a breakdown over <someone> spreading lies about me while also being in a mental health crisis at the same time. I have explained I do not think the person who did that was responsible for it, i was off meds at the time and that it was an embarrassing experience for me. Hey, I'm being a bitch right now because you guys consistently keep trying to hurt someone I care about who I know is a genuinely good person. I did not have any particular ill will towards you whatsoever before you started lashing out about us during a paranoia episode, and I get you were going through a hard time but I think a lot of what happened was miscommunication. No one was spreading rumors about you. If you want to talk it out in private I have no issue with that. I don't think we'll ever like each other, but I can have a normal conversation with you if you can at least be civil to me. I'm not really trying to fuck up your mental health, but you need a little empathy to understand that's what you are doing to other people. Wimsie has never done anything to you guys and they don't need this right now.
