I don’t know why, but I have just such a specific HeadCanon for Timmy’s dating history as he grows up, technically it’s related to my magic future AU, but it can also just be taken as not

So I guess here’s all his past relationships in order of when I think they happen as well as the reason they broke up and how long they dated for

1. Cindy vortex. I count the times they hung out and went to the dance and all that stuff during the Timmy Jimmy power hours as of them dating. It was long distance, but trust. Anyway, incredibly short-lived. Because even though they were both interested in each other for a little bit they were so young and immature that that interest only lasted for so long A great example is in the third Timmy Jimmy power hour and all interest they pretty much had for each other had dissipated.

2. Chester Mcbadbat, hear me out Chester is gay as fuck especially for Timmy, they dated in late elementary school for only two weeks and then broke up because Timmy forgot they were dating in the first place. and Chester didn’t talk to him for a week after that but they’re cool now.

3. Remy Buxaplenty, the whole relationship was a Yiiikes. I like to think this was around Lake middle school early high school so about 13-ish , they got along. They had a great time but Remy has a pension for jealousy and envy, and the two of them we’re just not good together. They broke up and it was messy.

4. Trixie Tang, started dating around 15. she started to get less dependent on her friends approval at this point which is how this happened. And although Timmy isn’t popular, he does throw awesome parties, so I feel like this is part of the reason she gave him a chance, because like who doesn’t want to be invited to his parties there infamously awesome every time. But aside from that, they got along surprisingly well the reason they broke up is because a trixie realized she was a lesbian and at that point Timmy’s egg hasn’t cracked yet. so no real room for argument he was really happy that she figured this out about herself, but also incredibly heartbroken because he really liked her. He went on a little bit spiral after this because depressed teen angst.

5. Remy again. within the following summer after his break up with Trixie. He would date, break up, get back together with Remy three times. also, Remy has a tendency to love bomb. so whenever a break up was his fault he would pretty much shower Timmy with gifts until he took him back. not at all healthy but they’re teenagers, so what are you gonna do

6. Tootie (I realize she doesn’t have a last name). They’re 17 during this one. dated for five months which to Timmy’s credit is the longest relationship he’s had so far. broke up because they realize they were acting the exact same way they were when they were friends, and they realize neither of them actually have romantic feelings for each other. (cough cough a little bit after this tootie realizes she’s aroace and only thought she had a crush on Timmy because early 2000s if girl like boy it Hass to be romantic cough) They are however, trauma bonded, and stay best friends

7. Jimmy neutron. young adults at this point took forever for them to get together because Jimmy couldn’t except his feelings for the longest time, and Timmy didn’t realize he had any. dated for two years broke up because their lives were going in different directions and work got in the way.

To elaborate a little more this is when Timmy started his training to become a fairy warden, and that took up a lot of time that he couldn’t expand on hopping between dimensions

They mutually agreed to try their relationship again when they have more of their lives figured out

As of within the AU in the current timeline, a.k.a. new wishes taken place

Timmy and Tootie still best friends got platonically married because they both wanted children and they trust each other more than anyone else, and now we have Tommy and Tammy as a result, they’re more like roommates than husband and wife, but they do coparent

(Timmy might be potentially casually seeing Jimmy at this time, but I haven’t fully decided)

Oh yeah also Timmy’s egg officially cracked at 18 and he came out as bi gender he/she pronouns

Hi Anon! Welcome to my humble abode 💜✨ though activity is a bit inconsistent right now.

For my sharing preferences, it would be selective sharing for the following characters: Hibari, Tsuna, Reborn and Giotto (any other character is free real estate). I'm ok with "sharing", but when I do interact with others who ship with those same characters, I'd prefer to talk about the OCs themselves or maybe even focus any alt pairings their OC has (if I can't give support for this one pairing, i'll do my best to support if you give me a different pairing to gush on. prefs aside, I'm a shipping enthusiast😈🤭💖).

Overall, I love supporting people's OCs (and their CanonxOC ships) when I can. It's just that I'd really like to keep it genuine, so it has to be within my own comfort and without sacrificing my own enjoyment/preferences. I do my best to respect other people's sharing prefs as well (it goes both ways!).

BUT! I'm more lax about this when "selfshipping" is involved. Real people are involved by then, esp my friends, so my brain kind of shifts to a different mode. If it's just plain fangirling over these characters with other people, such a thing is very fun to me🤣🥰🫶

Ok so when I post Tousuke you should be aware that there are 2 different universes the Tousuke could be happening in:

The main nopsiverse is where Akechi's with Aiura and Kusuo, and all three are part of the greater P.K. Polycule. In this universe, Akechi and Kusuke are mostly besties and what happens in Kusuke's lab stays in Kusuke's lab. Kusuo explicitly said early on in their friendship that he doesn't care what they're up to, he just doesn't want to hear about Kusuke more than he has to unless 1) Kusuo needs to stop him or 2) he's sending coffee jelly. So Akechi and Kusuke are completely normal whenever they're out in public and Akechi mostly stays the night at Kusuke's lab whenever Aiura is at Teruhashi's or Yumehara's, and Kusuo is at Nendo's or has Toritsuka over.

The tousukeverse is where Akechi only dates Kusuke and so they're public about their relationship and it's significantly wilder because they're spending way more time together. While they do try not to be too in Kusuo's face about it (he is NOT happy about the relationship), they're also not gonna hide it and if Kusuo finds out something he didn't want to know because he has poor control of his powers, well that's on him. Tousukeverse Akechi is also more morally grey than other Akechis just from hanging out with Kusuke so much, and tousukeverse Kusuke has a much better view of humanity because of Akechi's influence. Balance.... ✨⚖️✨

TLDR; Basically if Kusuo is reacting to Tousuke and/or Akechi is unusually interested in potentially unethical experimentation, then the scenario is definitely happening in the tousukeverse 👍🏾

Ok, really not tryna vague or be shady, but I just gotta say: I do not and will never understand why there's so much drama around ships becoming canon or not.

Seriously, why do you care. Is your ship game that weak? Do you need a stamp of approval from other people for what you like and how you creatively express yourself? Because, sorry, but that's technically what that is and you don't need it.

C'mere. Come to auntie. Listen. I multiship like crazy and lots of weird and niche rare pairs too. Whenever any of my ships become canon that's pretty much an accident and a statistical outlier and because I just happened to like what the creators like for once. And then I usually think "oh that's nice" and go on with my madness. No getting smug and using it to put others down either!

I'm telling you this because I simply can't stress enough how much more chill and fun shipping is if you become deeply unbothered by what's canon, what the creators think and what other people approve of. Again, you need nobody's stamp of approval. And if people nag and bully you about what you like then these people suck and they have no right to demand explanations from you.

Make your case not to justify yourself to bullies - they won't be convinced anyway - but to get other people interested. Make your case through your art, your writing, your headcanons, your conversations with other fans. Make your case through passion.

And stop letting others tell you what you can and can't ship. Which goes both ways, just saying.

Looking for Strifentine fic recs. Specifically Strifentine, no polyship*, multiship**, different-ship-with-background-Strifentine, or technically-Strifentine-if-you-squint fic.

There isn't a lot of dedicated Strifentine work out there in general—without excluding multiship work, there are just barely 250 on the whole of AO3, and using the "otp:true" modifier cuts that down to about 140, a little over a dozen of which have been posted over the past year. I've already got takenbynumbers, skadren, Megane and esama on my list, but I don't generally seek out fic that isn't recommended to me in some capacity, so I am asking around!

* Throwing Chaos in counts as polyship. If any of the monsters are written as their own characters with dialogue etc. and they are participating, that's a polyship.

** Specifically no multiship fic where the other ship(s) feature Cloud and/or Vincent. Obviously other pairings that don't involve either character are fine, and both of them having been with other people in the past is fine, but if it's "Vincent Valentine sleeps with everyone" or "Cloud and Vincent are together because they're both pining for dead brunettes" or something like that, it's just not the kind of thing I'm looking for.

In case anyone is wondering, I was randomly scrolling the…I forgot which tag, actually. No, wait, genderfluid Loki, I just learned he’s canonically genderfluid in Marvel and I think that’s really cool, and found that a following exists for a really cute - technically canon - ship between him and this cute Victorian guy named Theo from a book I have on my shelf right now, called Loki: Where Mischief Lies, and I got really excited, because since when do what I assumed to be fairly obscure books get ship followings? But they were so cute, and I got so excited, then remembered the otp I came up with like a year ago that lives safely in my mind in all its highly-specific randomness. Then I recalled multishipping.

After that paragraph, I suppose we can safely say I in fact do not communicate solely through cat pictures.

okay listen. I get the urge to talk about my favorite life series ship like it's Canon in every season...BUT. THAT HAS NEVER ONCE BEEN THE CASE.

Yes, Jimmy would be upset if Tango canaried (technical scientific term for that). Everyone would be- even I would be, and I've never watched a single one of his videos. Canarying sucks, and it hurts. Of course I would be upset. THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT I THINK JIMMY WOULD BREAK DOWN SOBBING FROM A CHARACTER STAND POINT. They have had only like... THREE on screen interactions. One is Tango murdering a man infront of Jimmy and another is Tango cheerfully burning down something one of Jimmy's teammates worked very hard on. WildLifeChara!Jimmy has more reason to hate or be afraid of WildLifeChara!Tango than to be madly in love with him.

I promise you, if Tango had offered Jimmy a life instead of Ren, people wouldn't shut up about for MONTHS. But, because it's Ren, somehow the interaction isn't NEARLY as homoerotic??? I understand having NOTP's, but the Jimmy/Ren ship doesn't even show up ONCE on ao3. Zero fics. ZE-RO. There's no reason to hate something that doesn't even exist.

This same concept applies for Flower Husbands as well- not just in Wild Life, and Secret Life and Limited Life and Last Life and Real Life though- in Empires.

I have no clue about Empires Season 1, but they barely interacted in Empires Season 2- and yet the amount of ship art I sift through on a weekly basis for my side blog is actually insane. Yeah, the few interactions WERE important, but I think Scott only flirted (in video) with Jimmy maaybbeeee three times. I have no idea what the count of that for streaming is, but I swear it is not enough to keep that number so inflated.

Although, honestly, this problem might just be affecting me because of my personal view on shipping- if it's in a context where it doesn't make sense for the characters to be romantically engaged, I won't read it or write it.

For example, my beloved Solidwood! I mostly get their vibes or read their fics from the following series: Evo, Last Life, New Life, Empires2, Secret Life. That's because those settings make sense! They are active, they are engaged, they have near constant interactions or very close base locations. It makes SENSE for them to be shipped. However, if you showed me art or fic of them in, say, Limited Life, I'd furrow my brow and tilt my head and say "no, that doesn't do anything for me." BECAUSE THEY HAVE ZERO REASON TO BE INVESTED ROMANTICALLY IN ONE ANOTHER THERE, AS A STAND ALONE SETTING.

Most of the major Jimmy ships, though, don't follow this rule. I can understand loving a ship so much you want to see it everywhere- but, I promise you, stepping back and looking at which characters actually have chemistry regarding the new setting and social system will do wonders... you won't have to think of new Au's to insert your favorite ship into a new setting... all ships will be your favorite ship (unless they give you the ick). Join the multishiper hivemind /j

No but honestly it's gotten to the point where I will like or dislike a creator/character of theirs by what ship is their most popular given the context of the setting. Like, Tango in Double Life? Awww the sweetie!! I love him :) and then Tango in Empires2 sets off alarm bells in my brain screaming at me. He is NOT meant to be here bringing that ship here, this is NOT its territory. Same problem for Scott in nearly damn near every SMP both Jimmy and him are in... except Wild Life because he's actually been pretty nice and not condescending or forcing on Jimmy. I guess also power imbalances in how fans view them is a major no-go for me...

TLDR; Lots of popular ships are inserted into settings without a thought for what that would mean for the setting and any changes in the established social connections, which gives OP the ick. I'm also not policing ships I'm just begging people to please either understand more ships using in setting context or list their AU details in the summaries of the fics. This goes hand in hand with misinterpreting characters in writing also... the more ships you like the more characters you will get to get good at writing!!!!

I’ve barely started chapter 11 of IWICL but I do feel like this will probably be the last chapter. I’m going to try and make it the last one at least. It’s kinda crazy looking back at this verse, I never would’ve made this sequel if my muse wasn’t so insistent and of course those who read it being upset with my original ending (thank you to those supportive of me and my vision. You’re so real for this and I love you all and you’re the real reason I decided to continue the verse). I realize I’m too American for this fandom and my views are highly influenced by those around me (as a Vegas gal I tend to be perceived as wild versus the more conservative views of the majority of this fandom since it originates from an Asian country though… nope not gonna go there) which is probably why I fought so hard on writing this despite it being controversial and would give me a bad rep. Idk I’m just thinking thoughts instead of writing cause procrastinating is kinda my thing

It’s not October yet and I promised to work on finishing my WIPs but y’all have no idea the excitement I hold as a Swiftie and a Sportie. I am winning and the October prompts are about to be so much more fun for me!
