GRAAAAAH⁉️ HELP‼️ You wrote such a masterpiece, I'm already so HYPED for the next chapter ONG.

With the batfamily's personal agenda and inability to reach out, their past forever haunting them.

I imagine that the realization that their present, where they actively ( idk if intentionally ) ignore the reader, now "past", will haunt them forever.

Especially Bruce's reaction, his internal struggle with the fact that if he was just a little bit warmer, the chaos caused by the future villain who used to be under his roof, could've been prevented.

Question tho, how would they all eventually turn yandere? They seem to have all never interacted before, so I can't see them suddenly feeling the need to be there for the reader. Either it would be self-righteous beliefs or they'd just think she overreacted. ( bring in the angst LMAO )

The batfam has their own problems and responsibilities to deal with. Even healer!reader is aware of that, which is why she tries to avoid bothering them with her needs, whether emotional, intellectual, educational, social, or even sometimes financial.

Healer!reader has always been able to take care of herself, with or without a family. What truly affects her is the fact that she can’t use her powers while in Gotham, out of fear that someone from the batfam might find out.

Now, no one in the batfam ever intended to ignore healer!reader on purpose. Some of them might even think they never ignored her. It’s just that everyone assumed she probably had something else to do—or they simply forgot about the requests and questions she had made.

Because, for better or worse, the batfam sees healer!reader as too… ordinary for the family.

Since no one knows (yet 😼) that healer!reader has extraordinary healing abilities, they genuinely believe she’s just the most normal and average daughter of Bruce Wayne.

As for Bruce, he’s definitely going to regret everything. Healer!reader’s future doesn’t look very warm or pleasant for anyone involved.

If only she had had a father, someone to remember, someone she could trust and feel safe with… would that have changed anything? Would she have stayed?

Does Bruce even know his own daughter?

I can’t say healer!reader will be a villain in the future, but she definitely won’t be a hero either. Just think of her as, quite literally, a “human machine made to save thousands of lives.” Of course, depending on your point of view, you could see healer!reader as either a villain or a hero…

As for how they’ll all eventually become yanderes… Well, I like to think the yandere instincts were already there, buried deep inside. They just needed a (massive) little push to finally activate.

Like I said before, they all believed healer!reader was just a very “normal” child for the family. No one ever bothered to look past that.

That’s partially why they kept their distance from her… as if they genuinely thought she’d be better off not getting involved in family matters. Because, to them, healer!reader is someone who hasn’t seen the worst of the world yet, someone who hasn’t been through anything truly traumatic.

They think she’s better off where she is. They believe that way she’ll be safe from everything bad.

And to be fair, healer!reader herself wouldn’t have let anyone dig too deep into who she really is.

She doesn’t want the batfam to know her. She just wants to leave Gotham and go back to the medical field with Masashi. Healer!reader wants to use her powers. Being in the mansion makes her feel restrained and useless. She doesn’t like being there.

She can endure the neglect— it’s something she’s always survived through. What she can’t handle is the thought of not knowing when she’ll be able to use her powers again.

So you can imagine what’ll happen in the future when the Batfam finally learns about healer!reader’s powers. That revelation is going to hit them hard—with guilt, with regret.

I can absolutely picture them noticing healer!reader’s disappearance and brushing it off as a typical tantrum from a child (even if they don’t understand why she’d act that way). But as time goes on and she gives no sign of life… well… that’s when the first alarms start to go off.

And of course, we still have to see Duke and how his presence will affect healer!reader.

BUT....

The door slams open and he almost drops his phone in surprise. He was sat where he had been sat all evening, collapsed into this chair in the clergy commons after his disappointing dinner, thinking. His expression soured even further now it seemed another one of his brothers was here to ruin his day.

"Are you reading reviews of the movie again, frattelino?" Secondo asks, squinting at him across the dark room. "There is steam coming from your ears."

"I am not reading them no," he smirks a little, pushing the glasses he usually pretends not to need up his nose before continuing to tap away at his phone with his pointer finger. Secondo flicks on the light switch disrupting him once again with the blinding light so he shoots him a quick glare before resuming his somewhat frantic yet stilted typing.

"I do not like that look," he accuses, pointing at him as he crosses the room. "What are you doing then?" He circles the armchair in which Terzo is slouched, leaning around to look at the screen over his shoulder.

"None of your business," he pulls the phone to his chest to hide the screen. "Why must you stick your big old nose where it is not wanted eh?"

"Let me see!" He tries to wriggle away from his brother's seeking hand, tustling each other like they used to when they were children. He almost slides free but his escape is thwarted but his stupidly large brothers hand clamping onto his shoulder and pulling away his phone with the other.

"Give that BACK!" He struggles out of the squishy chair pushing his glasses back up into his hair so he can glare uninterrupted at his brother who is now scrolling through his review, shaking his head and tutting like a stupid old chicken.

"Terzo this isn't very nice," he says it so patronisingly he has to resist stamping his foot in frustration. Why should he be nice! He never got a moment like this and if he had he knows he would have done more, done better. And shouldn't Secondo be mad too?

"I stand by what I said," he huffs crossing his arms indignantly. "Aren't you annoyed? That we barely got a mention? Just that we were dead?"

"Well I would say I got about twenty of the thirty seconds we were on screen so how can I complain?" He expects the typical reaction he usually gets when he teases his brother but when Terzo instead, visibly deflates before flopping back into his chair he realises this might be a bit deeper than he thought.

"Terzo, come now, what is really the matter?" He moves to perch on the arm of the chair, handing him back his phone. When he doesn't respond straight away he reaches over to mess with his brother's habitually pristine hair, ruffling it into a birdnest as he used to before whenever Terzo got in his head and needed a distraction.

"Ay!" He shouts batting at his hand but at least he is glaring at him again instead of pouting dejectedly.

"I am happy for Copia, I suppose," he starts hesitantly smoothing his hair back into place. "It's just, we all worked hard too, and yes we may have not been as successful but without us to lay the ground work whose to say he would be 'rite here, rite now'." He waves his hands around, air quoting the title of the film dramatically.

"You are not wrong frattelino," he pauses before continuing trying to decide how to best console him. "But that is not what this story is about. It is about truly experiencing the moment you are in now, and not letting the times of the past or the what ifs of the future ruin it." His shoulders drop with a sigh so he wraps an arm around him squeezing him firmly.

"I just never got to..." He trails off but they both know what he was about to say.

"I know," he squeezes him again. "And none of that makes what they did to you right but that is in the past. People still love us no? We still have many praising us and screaming our names no matter what Copia does. We all have a place. Ours was over there, back then but who knows what the future will bring?" He stops when he sees his brother finally perking up.

"You are right I suppose," he shoots him a sideways glance. "This time at least." He picks up his phone and repositions his glasses on his nose. "I better delete all this then" He starts to tap away at the screen but Secondo stills his hand.

"I didn't say that," He says with a smirk. "You should add one about how his wig looks terrible."

"But Copia doesn't wear a... Oh!" They are far too old for this, Secondo thinks as they giggle like children coming up with more and more ridiculous complaints about the film. But right here, right now, he doesn't care.

John Dory comes to check out Mount Rageous

As he makes his way through the ventilation he hears crying- but it doesn’t sound like Floyd so he moves on (a bit guiltily)

Once he finds Floyd (and lands face first on the dresser)

John Dory groaned as he pulled himself off the floor in a hurry “Yo! Floyd!”

Floyd looked up from his lap as his eyes widened “John dory? I cant believe it!” Floyd pressed his hands against the wall of his prison “I never thought I’d see any of my brothers again”

John Dory smiled before pressing his hand up to the glass in confidence

“Don’t worry bro I’m gonna get you out of here”

“No! You need to get out of here!” Floyd said urgently “you don’t understand- Velvet and Veneer are giant, pop obsessed succubi with NO talent and they’ve been stealing mine and Y/n’s- it’s only a matter of time now until they come back for more!”

John Dory thought to himself “Y/n? Like our old manager and childhood best friend Y/n? But- why did they take her?”

Floyd sighed to himself, misplaced guilt eating at him a bit “when you guys left, she followed me and after a bit we ended up confessing-“

“So she’s here?” John Dory said looking around, “I don’t see her anywhere!”

“She got taken by Velvet- as like a personal back up! I don’t know where she is- but if shes having her talent drained she won’t last as long, she isn’t a trained singer JD! I’m worried”

“Don’t worry bro- I’ll get both of you out-!”

JD tried many tricks to try and crack the prison his brother was in but to no luck

“It’s made out of diamond- and there’s only one thing that’s strong enough to shatter diamond” Floyd hoped his brother got the clue-

“A diamond shattering diamond hammer! Where do we get one of those?”

It went way over his head

“No, the only thing strong enough to shatter diamond is the perfect family harmony” Floyd said giving his brother a look of humour

“Of course! The prefect family harmony!”

Floyd nodded looking at his brother with tired but hopeful eyes until-

“Our voices sound like GARBAGE! We need more TROLL!”

“Run John Dory- save yourself” Floyd urged, not wanting to get his brother captured

John Dory nodded, grappling back to the vent and shouting that he’d be back with the rest of the family

During the rescue mission you’re nowhere to be found

Floyd’s theory is correct and you are drained far to quickly-

You turn into a crystal troll just before the rage dome show

Velvet decides to put you in her pocket like a little good luck charm

The perfect family harmony works and shatters the diamond perfectly

Floyd thinking of you as he sings the last line

“Just let me take you to a better place!”

When he wakes up from his crystal form and has a moment with his brothers he looks around and doesn’t see you anywhere

“John Dory, where’s Y/n?”

Everybody starts looking around not being able to see you

Not even Crimp knows where you are

“Velvet! Where’s the other troll? The one you took as a backup?” Veneer said, after confessing that they were frauds

“Oh her? She drained far to fast so I gave her another use” velvet stated- pulling you out of her pocket “she’s my little good luck charm- though she didn’t work so she’s useless to me now”

Floyd gasped, tears finally spilling over as he takes in your completely crystallised form in shock

“No… Nononono”

Veneer snatches you off velvet and hands you to the group of trolls on the floor with remorse

“Y/n? Come on- this cant be happening!”

Floyd brings you into a hug- sobbing as he realises there’s no hope for you

You, though crystallised, can hear everything around you

You try to open your eyes but they’re so heavy

“You can’t do this to me- not after everything we’ve been through together, it’s my fault” Floyd stated through his tears “I just want you back.”

Everyone looks down in sadness, shedding their own tears as they mourn with Floyd

Then

The darkness starts to fade from your vision as you blink a few times

You raise your hand to his face, startling him

“You’re so silly”

you say weakly, watching his eyes tear up again- this time from happiness and disbelief

“You never lost me in the first place”

He brings you into a kiss- putting all of his emotions into it

The crowd cheers as they realise you’re alive and as velvet and veneer are taken away in cuffs

Crossing your arms over your chest, a deep chill runs through your body as you stand too close to the window. Even with the glass as a barrier and the heater doing its best to warm up Gene’s apartment, the snow that continues to pile on the ground and the wind that whistles against the side of the apartment building sends an unbeatable cold through the flooring that made your feet tingle and shoulders shake.

It had been snowing before you even got here, but it didn’t lighten up in the slightest like the forecast said before. If anything, the snowfall has quadrupled at this point. You might be stuck here for more than just a day if it continues at this rate.

“You know, staring at the window won’t make the snow go away.” His deep voice startles you from your thoughts, muscles tensing as you nearly jump from your skin.

“Oh! Hey…”

He was closer than you expected, his significant height forcing you to crane your neck up to get a look at his face. An amused smirk tugs at his lip piercing, one of his eyebrows hitched up at your stressed and jumpy attitude.

“What’cha doing, huh?”

“Just… worried about the weather.”

“Quit stressin’, doll. Being stuck with me isn’t so bad, is it? I won’t bite,” he teases, hand landing on your lower back and guiding you from the window towards his kitchen. “C’mon. This isn’t so bad. I’ll even sleep on the couch and let you take my bed.”

“Do you think this will last that long?” you glance back at the window, biting your lip.

He sucks in a breath through his teeth, shaking his head with a disappointed sigh. “Ouch. Do you really not want to spend time with me that much?”

“No! I’m enjoying spending time with you.”

He taps under your chin before letting you go, walking over to the coffee pot. “That’s what I thought.”

You can’t even form a response to that, mouth gaping open like a fish on land as your ears start to burn.

“Sorry. I can’t resist teasing you, even now. Can you blame me?” he leans on the island, tilting his head with a smile. “Some old habits die hard.”

Before you could muster anything, he continues. “And to answer your question, it doesn’t look like the snow is gonna go anywhere anytime soon.

“But, I don’t have anything to stay over. No change of clothes or anything…” you wring your hands.

“Hey, hey, hey. You can wear some of my clothes while we wash yours. Besides, the roads should be cleared by some time tomorrow. Don’t stress, sweetheart.” He directs a challenging look at you, raising his eyebrows as he waits for a rebuttal.

“Yeah… okay.”

“Good. See? Everything’s fine,” he nods approvingly. “Now, I’m making some decaf. Want some? Or tea… hot chocolate?”

“I’ll take some hot chocolate… thank you.”

“Of course, doll,” he grins, waving you over. “C’mon. We can make some snacks and binge some TV before- sorry, if the power goes out. Yeah?”

“Mhm,” you smile back, your previous stresses starting to roll off your back at his insistence.

“There’s that pretty smile,” he nudges your side with his elbow. “Maybe if you get too cold we can sit extra close under the blankets, hm?”

“W-what?”

“Huh? What?” He glances around with a confused look on his face, scratching his head. “I didn’t say anything.”

“You did!”

“Did what?” He looks back at you, mouth shifting rapidly between amused and faux bewilderment.

“You said-“ you stop, narrowing your eyes when he leans closer, face turning expectant and smug as he tilts his chin up for you to continue.

“I did what, doll?”

“Shut up.”

He bursts out in laughter. “I didn’t say anything! And after I kindly offered my home and even my bed. I should take the offer back and sleep in my own bed!”

“No. I’ll sleep in it anyways.” You cross your arms.

A cheshire like grin spreads across his face as he leans down, just inches from your face. “Oh? You wanna share my bed with me, doll? Don’t threaten me with a good time…”

“That’s not-! Shut up!”

💙💛 Happy Wolverine Wednesday‼️💛💙

No art today cuz I wanted to talk about my 2nd favorite Wolverine comic issue: Prisoner Number Zero!

Not really analysis, just my thoughts and screenshots under the cut✨

Specifically this is from Wolverine (2003) #32 in case anyone wants to look it up and this is SPOILER HEAVY. It was written by Mark Millar with art by Kaare Andrews.

A really simplified summary is that Logan basically makes the Nazis who run his concentration camp that he stays at kill themselves without even doing anything🥳

What I love the most is the overall horror vibe of this issue🤤 I'm bringing it up here at the start cuz it connects to the other reasons why I like this issue.

The 2nd thing I like is the pacing. I like that the story goes day by day to emphasize the slow build up to the ending. Since this is a stand-alone story that isn't ongoing like Uncanny X-Men for example, I think this kind of pacing is perfect instead of having everything done in one day. This pacing also goes with the horror vibe of following someone's life as they slowly....... go...... insane........ until their ultimate demise.

These are just little examples of foreshadowing that I liked (the 1st panel was from the beginning and the 2nd was near the end). According to google "La Fin Du Monde" means "The End of the World" in French which is something I found cute!

The 3rd thing I liked was having the main character, Major Bauman, be the narrator instead of it being in 3rd person or by Logan himself. Not only do you get to understand whatever horrors he's experiencing every day but you never find out what Logan is thinking which I think is important to the way the story unravels. There would be no mystery or suspense if the narrator explained everything that was happening or if Logan was thinking about what he would do before doing it. (Not to mention the cute text boxes that look like worn paper cuz he's writing letters🥰).

The last thing I liked is obviously the art style‼️‼️

Like!! Look how scary these two panels alone are!! The really dark shadows and kinda scratchy lines are absolutely perfect for the vibe. I love how Logan's face is never drawn in the light with all of his features visible. Just showing the whites of his eyes and teeth are such a classic horror thing that really works when it's done well like this.

Overall I think this issue would be amazing as a short horror animation if it's done in the same art style especially with all of the audio cues that can be used to add to the experience (the roar of the furnace fires, Logan's scary whistling every night, etc.).

I think this issue really shows just how much horror potential there is for Wolverine comics in general. If just his presence drove someone to suicide, imagine how scary (in a good way) it would be seeing him actually hunt someone down and drive them insane!! Wolverine animated horror movie directed by A24 when⁉️⁉️

Caregiver Tetchō + Padded Little

⟢ Tetchō is generally just a calm and chill caregiver. He’s never one to judge, at most he might be a little confused on something, but never judgmental. So if his little one wants to be padded he certainly wouldn’t judge them! I think he’d definitely question it, asking why they want to use diapers, if they think they’ll actually use them or just wear them. In the moment his questions may seem embarrassing and pointless, however it makes things go smoother down the road! It’s tough to communicate with someone who’s feeling little, so best to do it while they’re feeling big!

⟢ Definitely encourages testing out different diapers! He doesn’t pay much attention to the designs or anything at first, but he’ll definitely make sure to remember if certain ones leave rashes or aren’t thick/sturdy enough. It doesn’t seem like he pays much attention because he’ll never comment on the issues out loud, however after an issue has popped up once he makes sure it doesn’t happen again. If he finds a problem then he’ll find the root of it and he’ll fix it, simple as that. While the process isn’t always simple, the idea of it certainly is

⟢ I said that at first he doesn’t pay attention to designs, that’s just until he knows what works best! Once he has a brand and type locked in he’s practically obsessive over designs. If his baby finds a design that they like he’ll buy them clothes to match that design and everything (Mainly shirts, pants over a diaper isn’t too comfy). Likewise if he sees a pattern that would match clothes his little one already has he’s definitely buying a bunch. He likes making it feel like a properly coordinated outfit! He also just likes matching things by color

⟢ A lot of bratty littles might fight changing time, but Tetchō has his iron will! It depends on the stubbornness of the little, if he thinks they’ll give in then he doesn’t even bother forcing them, just lets them sit all uncomfortable until they get sick of it and want to accept the change. However if his baby is a bit more stubborn he’ll force them into it! Not directly. He’ll just take away all other simulation (Not comfort items obviously), he’ll refuse to even talk to them, all he’ll say is that they need to get changed before playing anymore

⟢ Tetchō definitely isn’t very good at reading people, in fact he’s one of the worst at it. So he’s not the best at picking up on signs of discomfort from his baby. So he stresses communication! He’ll always make sure to ask if his little one needs a change, and anytime it’s convenient he’ll check for himself, picking them up in a way that lets him feel their bottom. He loves diapers with wetness indicators, they’re just so beyond helpful. He definitely still tries encouraging his baby to just ask for a change though! Just in case he doesn’t notice the indicator saying they need one. Yes he checks like every 5 minutes but better to be safe than sorry

⟢ He’s willing to negotiate when it comes to changes! No that does not mean his baby can get out of getting changed, but he’s willing to make sure they get something out of it to! For example he’ll put on their favorite show or get them a special snack. Special snack is usually angel milk! Tetchō is fascinated and overjoyed that sugar and milk go together well enough that other people like it. He’s now trying to push salt and milk together… His poor little one is dragged into being his taste tester all the time

⟢ I don’t think he’d need to have a diaper bag, he prefers it when his baby regresses at home, away from people, if needed he’ll just slip a few diapers in a normal bag. However if his little one insists he’s definitely willing to put together a diaper bag! He’ll make it just look like a normal bag on the outside, maybe with a few cute charms or pins at most. But the interior gets a cute fabric and it’s filled with a bunch of baby stuff! Before going out he’ll always ask his little one if they want him to bring it or not, that way there’s two people’s opinions. He acknowledges the fact that he’s biased towards not wanting to take it

⟢ I can absolutely see Tetchō tickling his baby to help them calm down for a change. This can also be done if they’re struggling to relax enough to actually use their diaper even if they need to. I think he’d walk around their arms and legs with two fingers to form a little person! He’ll sometimes say it’s like ants are crawling all over their body hehe. Honestly the motion can be kind of soothing, but as soon as the little one seems to get used to the motion he’ll tickle attack them! Catch them off guard and force them to relax!
