✨OC Questionnaire Tag 🪽✨
Thank you for tagging me for this questionnaire, @the-letterbox-archives !! 💛✨
Okay, Tenshi! Come on out 🪽✨
“Would you say you have changed? if so, for better or worse?”
Definitely for the better!! After coming to Earth, I’ve learned so many new things! One time, Ita showed me how to make scrambled eggs! It’s my favorite thing to make now~! ✨
“if you could go back in time and say anything to your younger self, what would you say?”
“Don’t be afraid to try new things!” I would have told my past self in a heartbeat. It’s because I stepped outside of my comfort zone, my home…that I was able to take a breath of fresh air and live my life to the fullest. ✨
“what would you sell your soul for?”
D-Do I have to sell my soul? Oh….mmmm….i-if there wasn’t another way, I would sell my soul to protect Ita and make sure he has a lifetime of happiness.
Itazura: Tenshi, it’s a hypothetical. You’re not going anywhere; you’re safe

Tag Game: OC Interview (Round... 3?)
...I'm too tired to go and find the other two but I think I've done it twice before and I'm not double-checking.
Thanks to @thewritingautisticat for the tag!
The Wheel has chosen Korfel Domin, from Trials of the Six! Questions are in bold, responses are unbolded, my own questions/thoughts are in blue.
Are you named after anyone?
Some random ancestor of my father's. I don't remember what he did for my parents to name me after him. It probably wasn't that important.
It's actually a fairly common name in his bloodline. The first Korfel was a renowned king.
Yeah. Not that important.
When was the last time you cried?
*long sigh* ...not since I was a kid. No, that's a lie. It was right after I met Jarsali. But not since then. And I can see the look on your face, but I'm not telling you why. That's final.
In the immortal words of Brandon Sanderson, RAFO.
Do you have kids?
Nah.
Not biologically, anyway. Emotionally, though....
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Sarcasm? Me? Never.
What is the first thing you notice about people?
How they carry themselves. It usually tells me how a person fights, or their attitude or personality before we even exchange words.
What’s your eye color?
Dark brown. Nothing too special.
They're pretty close to black, actually. Doesn't make much difference.
Any special talents?
'Suppose I gotta be honest. I'm a pretty good Earth Mage, and that lends itself to a lot of things. Especially tracking. And fighting. I'm good at that.
You're selling yourself short, you're good at improvising.
Yeah, because my planned-out-plans are shit.
Scary movies or happy endings?
Hmm... don't really have a preference either way. I suppose if I had to pick it would be scary movies.
I think he'd like M. Night Shyamalan films, where details are everywhere and the twist is foreshadowed. Like the Sixth Sense!
Uhh... yeah. I'll take your word for it.
Where were you born?
Tya. Obviously. At my family's homestead. Haven't been back there in over a decade.
The reasons for that are also a RAFO.
...why do you keep saying RAFO?
hehe
Do you have any pets?
Nah. Animals don't seem to like me that much, and that's just another thing I gotta worry about.
How tall are you?
Tall enough to have to duck through most doorways to avoid hitting the top of my head.
What was your favorite subject in school?
Ugh. I hated school. Not the subjects themselves, most of the teachers just didn't know how to teach them properly. That being said, learning how to use a sword was the highlight of my day. Could work all the frustrations out on a wooden practice dummy.
What is your dream job?
In a perfect world, I'd be teaching young Earth Mages how to harness their abilities so they wouldn't hurt themselves or others. Or something similar.
Ah, but you don't live in a perfect world! Where's the plot in that?
...
Gently tagging @phoenixradiant @faytelumos @diabolical-blue @catwings-writes-things @thethistlegirlwrites
@pluppsauthor @pluttskutt @gamerkats @overdecorated-furniture and open tag! :D

OC Interview Tag!
Thanks for tagging me, @talesofsorrowandofruin (here)!
I'll do two interviews this time, one for Tarrant Kyresell from Song of Thorns and one for Jack Tithus from Supernova Initiative!
(SONG OF THORNS)
Are you named after anyone?
(Tarrant shrugs) "Eh. Not really, I think. At least not that I know of. My... so-called 'family' was never so considerate as to put any thought into stuff like that, they don't really care all that much."
When was the last time you cried?
"Last night, into my pillow when everyone else was asleep, it's almost a routine for me now. Don't judge me - if you worked for my employer you would do the same. No, I'm not going to talk about why I cried. Mind moving on to less personal matters, now?"
Do you have kids?
"I know how to take care of children, how to babysit and whatnot - and my cousins sure do act like little kids when they want to, even though they're both grown up. But no, I don't want to bring any children into the world I live in - it's far too dangerous for various reasons."
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
"Not really, only amongst people I trust. Misunderstandings can prove deadly and I really can't afford to have my superiors accusing me of insubordination or of 'talking back' over some sarcastic remark or something. It just really isn't worth the time and patience."
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
"Noticing what people want in an interaction is the most important thing one can do. Once I know what people want from me - and trust me, everyone wants something - I can work my way around it safely and avoid uncomfortable situations. That I know what to expect and won't be caught off guard. It pays off after a while, and kinda became second nature to me."
What’s your eye color?
"I've got hazel eyes, though they're slightly more of a golden amber from what I've heard, due to alchemical sorcery potions I drink."
Scary movies or happy endings?
"Life in the kingdom I live in is a scary story, there's no way around it. Ghouls, undead, the plague, dangerous people who want to use you, it's always there one way or another - I'd rather not have to face fear within fiction too. Happy endings are rare and few in between in real life, which makes me find them slightly unrealistic in tales. Either way, I don't have much time to spend reading - another luxury I've lost a long time ago - but personally I do prefer philosophy books and poetry."
Any special talents?
"It depends. What do you consider special talents? I can sing, dance, clean stuff, and I know how to use my words and guile to get people to accept my employer's contracts and deals. It's my job. I also know many ways to kill, even though I don't like to - in the place I live, you kinda have to if you want to survive for long. I know how to look pretty and say things people want to hear. I'm a 'Silver Snake' - a manipulator of underworld politics and fake diplomat for my employer. It's what I do. As for talents I personally consider special, I have taught myself many different languages - which I can now speak fluently - and I also know how to make some interesting potions."
Where were you born?
"A freezing piece of nowhere called Grymhaw, close to the single most dangerous and disputed roadway in the realm, the Reaper's Way. Lovely place - if you don't mind everything else about it. "
Do you have any pets?
"Not really yet, but, and I fear this may seem childish of me, I really, really want to adopt a cat one day! A fluffy one, with those adorable big eyes and which does little 'biscuits' with its paws on a pillow. They're just the best."
What sports do you play?
"I don't really have time for any specific sports, per se, at least not as a hobby. If you count carrying stuff around for my employer, fighting people I'm hired to defeat (with a dagger or rapier, I'm not that good of an archer though), dancing, etc, I'd say I'm quite fit and athletic."
How tall are you?
"5.9 ft tall, around 179-180 centimeters."
What was your favorite subject in school?
"Commoners don't attend academia in Grymhaw. I am a commoner, spent most of my childhood trying to survive, and then was trained to become a Silver Snake after that godsdamned contract was signed. As I mentioned before though, I have a special interest when it comes to languages and I do know quite a lot about Botany, Philosophy, Politics, etc."
What is your dream job?
"Haha, now that's a new joke. I never even was given that choice - my soul was magically sold and I had to become a servant and a spy. Being a stupid warlord's little plaything wasn't exactly in my plans, but here I am. I wanted to be an alchemist."
(SUPERNOVA INITIATIVE)
Are you named after anyone?
"Hint: my full name comes from a gemstone or a flower. For personal reasons, I don't like my full name - so I just go by my nickname, Jack, which is a shorter version of my actual name, just that. Not really named after any specific person though."
When was the last time you cried?
"Don't really remember, if I'm being honest. I'm a pretty happy person - I've got an amazing little sister, great friends, my spaceship. I'd say I'm pretty damn lucky. I think I did cry recently while being experimented on by the Director though - I was scared and in a lot of pain - but thankfully no one but me needs to know that."
Do you have kids?
"No, not really. I'm an intergalactic thief and my on-the-run lifestyle, while fun and exciting, isn't exactly suited for small children. If one day I meet the right person and settle down, which is highly unlikely, I would like to have children - I think I'd be a good dad."
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
"Yes. I'm pretty witty and I love making sarcastic remarks - I'm not rude to people who don't deserve it and am usually very polite, but sarcasm is like second nature to me. It's fun, gets the message across, and annoys the hell out of my uptight enemies. Overall, it's a win-win situation for me. Plus, I'm an older brother - I think sarcasm is pretty much one of the requirements, haha, especially when you got a chaotic little sister like mine."
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
"It depends. If I'm meeting someone in a regular social situation, I usually notice how they carry themselves, if their looks seem to reflect something of their personality, if they seem like a nice person to be around or a douchebag, that sort of thing. If I'm in a dangerous situation however, I try to notice if the person is armed or poses a threat - if so, I then try to figure out how I can keep my team safe from that person and do anything I can to minimize the danger."
What’s your eye color?
"Dark brown, just like Cassie's."
Scary movies or happy endings?
"Oh, that's a nice question! I like both. Personally, I don't really like those extremely gory or disturbing horror movies, but I do like those cheesy teen horror flicks with a bit of comedy. Sometimes me and my sister try to find the worst possible low-budget horror movie and just watch it to laugh at the bad SFX and corny stories. As for happy endings, it's always good to watch a movie where everything works out in the end and gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling."
Any special talents?
"I'm a great pilot - I can maneuver my spaceship through an asteroid field or while being chased through a bunch of skyscrapers on a space station without much struggle. I'm also good at sharpshooting when I have the time to prepare and focus - though I'm admittedly not as good as Deimos or Vesper when it comes to striking moving targets, and I prefer not to hurt anyone, so most of my guns are set to just stun. I'm a good liar, I can make deals with anyone and I can get in and out of a high-security building with a priceless artifact without anyone noticing I was even there. So, haha, quite a few talents."
Where were you born?
"I was born in one of the three moons that orbit the planet of Ivion. It's a mining settlement, dusty, grimy, crime-ridden - forgotten by those highbrow Junction officers except in matters of exploiting everything the moon had to offer until there was nothing left. Basically, that place is just a big, bureaucratic space junkyard that sucks the soul out of you if you let it. I was never a big fan and don't want to go back any time soon."
Do you have any pets?
"Actual pets no, because they usually don't do that well in constant space travel and I would never want an animal to feel uncomfortable. But we do have a robot my sister built that helps around the ship - I believe Cassie named it Clank or something. The robot kinda acts like a big puppy and we love him."
What sports do you play?
"I do some workouts every morning - I need to be in top shape to continue making a fool of the Junction, plus I rather like exercising as a hobby, it's fun. I also stretch whenever I can, and I like doing some target practicing with my guns just to keep the skill sharp. I'm also good at running - which kinda comes with the territory of being a thief - and am good at streetfighting."
How tall are you?
"Eh, not sure. The Director's laboratory charts say I'm 173 cm, so around 5.7ft, I think? I haven't personally measured my height in a while."
What was your favorite subject in school?
"When I attended school I never really cared about it, to be honest. I was too busy being a rebellious little kid, and then our lives were thrown upside down, so I had to take care of my little sister, and ended up becoming an intergalactic thief, so not have much time to have a favorite subject. I do like astronomy and general science, like chemistry, though I never really was very good at maths - Cassie's the one who knows all the complicated equations and can build a robot from scratch. I'm really proud of her."
What is your dream job
"I'm pretty happy as I am now! I get to spite our corrupt government, take from the snobs, and help those down below. I get to see all those new planets and cool galaxies and have all these adventures alongside my team. I wish we didn't have to break the law though, and that we had a different life - but since that isn't really an option, we might as well enjoy the life we have!"

OC Interview!
I was tagged by @kaylinalexanderbooks , @ceph-the-ghost-writer , @paeliae-occasionally for this! As I write, Alyss' "cousin" Jane has suddenly and unexpectedly become a somewhat important character, so I guess I should get to know her as well.
Jane Sydney Abernath
Were you named after anyone?
My middle name is in honor of my grandmother, but my given name is all mine, I believe.
When was the last time you cried?
I like to read those silly penny romance novels. I know they're stupid, but I just can't resist when I see them next to the newspapers on the station. They make me forget about the world for a moment.
Do you have kids?
I certainly do not, I don't even have a beau.
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
I think it's better to be up front with people. As much as possible. Sarcasm is just a way of defending oneself from others. I can defend myself in other ways just fine.
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
How they treat me, I suppose. I am a small person, and a certain kind of person takes that to mean something it does not. Beyond that, I enjoy politeness. Uncalled for rudeness is unattractive at best.
What’s your eye color?
Blue.
Scary movies or happy endings?
Happy endings, but the in-between can be scary.
Any special talents?
I have always been...sensitive. I have never managed to attain visions or dreams, but I do get a feeling of certain things. Scents, shifts in pressure, a change in the winds, all these affect me more than others. It is difficult being around Alyss, sometimes, for this reason. Sometimes I swear I can smell gasoline on her.
Where were you born?
Vicadia, on the north side of the bay. My family moved further south when our coven split.
Do you have any pets?
I have a cat. His name is Tibbles. He was named by my little brother, but the school won't allow pets. So Tibbles is mine, for now.
What sort of sports do you play?
I sail, when I can. I won last years Women's Sailing Club trophy.
How tall are you?
Frankly, short. I wear extra height in my shoes, but I try not to tell everyone.
What was your favorite subject in school?
Anything that got us out of the classroom and into the open air. I can't stand enclosed spaces and stuffy rooms.
What is your dream job?
I'm quite happy as I am. Working for the coven is enjoyable and pays well, and I can travel once in a while. I'd like to settle down one day, but that can wait for now. The value of a good Seeker witch is only growing, and who knows what will happen in the next few months, much less years. I imagine, anyway, after the war ends, there will be plenty of loved ones missing for me to seek out.

OC Interview
Thanks for the tag @jev-urisk
Alice Robinson before the start of Treasure Hunt is going to be answering these questions.
Do you have any hobbies? If so, what ones?
I definitely have a few hobbies that keep me busy when I'm not buried in my history books. For starters, I absolutely love exploring the outdoors. Growing up in a small town surrounded by forests, I developed a deep appreciation for nature. Hiking and camping are two of my favorite ways to unwind.
I also enjoy gaming with my friends, Dean, Zach, and Emily. We often get together for gaming nights, exploring virtual worlds and solving in-game mysteries. It’s a great way to bond and have fun, especially when we team up to tackle challenges.
Reading is another passion of mine, particularly historical fiction and adventure novels. They fuel my imagination and often inspire my own adventures. Plus, I love curling up with a good book after a long day of classes.
Be honest. Who could you trust most with a secret?
That's a tough one because I'm really close to my friends, but if I had to pick one person I could trust most with a secret, it would be Dean. We've known each other forever, and he's always been there for me, no matter what. He's reliable, understanding, and has this way of making me feel safe when I share something personal with him. Plus, he knows how to keep things private and respects my privacy, which is super important to me. So yeah, if I had a big secret, Dean would be the first person I'd go to.
Do you dream often? What do you dream about?
I do dream quite often! My dreams are usually pretty vivid. A lot of times, my dreams take me to far off places and times. I'll be in the middle of an archaeological dig, uncovering some incredible artifact, or maybe I'm exploring a hidden temple with secret passages and long-lost treasures. Sometimes, my dreams are more personal and I'll dream dream about fun adventures with my friends, or school.
Have you ever been in love?
I think I might be experiencing it now, actually. It's with Dean. We've been friends for so long, and somewhere along the way, my feelings for him started to deepen. It's like I see him in a different light now, noticing the little things that make him so special.
It's both exciting and a bit nerve-wracking. I'm not entirely sure how he feels about me, and I don't want to risk our friendship by confessing my feelings if he's not on the same page. But there's something about the way he looks at me sometimes, or how he's always there when I need him, that makes me hopeful.
So, while I haven't had a full-blown, movie-style romance yet, I think what I'm feeling for Dean might just be the start of something really special.
What is your least favorite thing in the world? What is your pet peeve?
My least favorite thing in the world is probably dishonesty. I value trust and openness so much, especially in my friendships, so when someone is deceitful or hides the truth, it really bothers me. It feels like a betrayal, and it's hard for me to forgive and forget when that trust is broken.
As for a pet peeve, I can't stand it when people are consistently late. I understand that things happen and sometimes people run behind schedule, but when it's a habitual thing, it just feels disrespectful of everyone's time. Punctuality shows that you value and respect the other person's time, so when someone is always late, it really gets under my skin.
Would you team up with your worst enemy if it was your only option?
As much as I might dislike the idea, I think I would team up with my worst enemy if it was my only option. In the end, if the situation is serious enough—like if it's a matter of life and death or something really important that affects a lot of people—I'd put aside my personal feelings and do what's necessary.
I believe in the greater good and doing what's right, even if it means working with someone I don't get along with. It wouldn't be easy, and I'd definitely be cautious, but sometimes you have to make tough decisions and put your differences aside for the sake of the bigger picture.

Thanks to @revenantlore for the tag! I'm doing this for Brett from November Breaks and Spin Cylinder...
Tumblr media
Are you named after anyone?
Not that I know of.
When was the last time you cried?
Does it count if my eyes were watering because something large was hitting the back of my throat? Because if so, it was last night 😏
Do you have kids?
No, fuck no, and over my dead body.
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
No 🙄
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
If they're hot.
What’s your eye colour?
Brown.
Scary movies or happy endings?
The ends of scary movies make me happy.
Any special talents?
See the answer to the question about the last time I cried.
Where were you born?
The writer has this whole thing about never naming specific places in these books, so I can't answer that.
Do you have any pets?
We looked after a dog one time. I liked her. She didn't judge me for drinking in the morning and she was good company when I went for a run after the drinking.
What sort of sports do you play?
Shit, did I do this tag already? This question feels familiar but the writer has an abysmal memory. Anyway. Running, wild swimming and climbing. Does that count as playing? I don't want other people to be involved. I just like pushing my body's limits.
How tall are you?
5ft 11in
What was your favourite subject in school?
None of them. Everything was easy but it was boring as shit.
What is your dream job?
To quote James Baldwin (I think), "I do not dream of labour."

OC Interview Tag
I was tagged by @kaylinalexanderbooks <3 And I am gonna do this one for Aurelia from Sweet Little Lies (WIP Intro | Ebook)
And I am tagging, if you want to do it (and haven't been buried under those yet) @leahnardo-da-veggie and @mundanemoongirl and whoever else wants to do it.
Are you named after anyone? "Not that I know of."
When was the last time you cried? "That's a rather rude thing to ask, wouldn't you say?"
Do you have kids? "No. Never wanted any, and now it would be too late, anyway."
Do you use sarcasm a lot? "I do not. I believe it is more helpful to say what you truly mean."
What’s the first thing you notice about people? "Most of the time, that's their voice. You can tell a lot about people by the way they speak."
What’s your eye colour? "I don't know." She inclines her head. "You tell me." She surely does know. She just has little patience for stupid questions.
Scary movies or happy endings? "What's a... movie? Is that like... a play? It's been years since I've been to one. Can't even remember what it was about, probably because I missed most of it, even though Cecelia tried to tell me what was going on."
Any special talents? "A little bit of ice magic. And." She laughs. "Some would say candy magic."
Where were you born? "Here, in Caldeia."
Do you have any pets? "No. That just doesn't seem practical or hygienic."
What sort of sports do you play? "Do I look like the kind of person who plays 'sports'? I've been learning how to dance lately, if you want to count that."
How tall are you? "I don't know. Why would I know? Do people usually know that?"
What was your favourite subject in school? "I didn't like school. At all. It's hard enough to follow if you can't see much, and even harder if people just think you're lazy."
What is your dream job? She makes a gesture encompassing her whole candy store. "This."

OC Interview Tag: Farric and Lettic
My thanks to @willtheweaver for the tag! I finished with all the main/secondary interviews, so time for some side characters!
Are you named after anyone?
Farric: "The second of the six sons of Tvoran Aravor."
Lettic: "Number 3."
When was the last time you cried?
Farric: "Are you not seeking that knowledge, sky watcher?"*
Lettic: "It's been awhile. Several years at least. You just get used to the pain after awhile."
Do you have kids?
Farric: "Nope, and never will."
Lettic: "No one I'd trust to help raise 'em right. That and I'm a bit young."
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Farric: "That's low hanging fruit, isn't it? Come on, do better next time. But yes."
Lettic: "What's 'a lot'? Bit of an unreliable measurement, yeah? I use it a bit, but not as much as Farric."
Farric: "Sarcasm is too subtle for him."
Lettic: "And I'm not ashamed of that fact."
What is the first thing you notice about people?
Farric: "How much they've thought about mortality. It's the kind of thing that shows in their eyes."
Lettic: "Whether they've betrayed somebody. The guilt's the kind of thing that shows in their eyes."
What’s your eye color?
Farric: "Blue."
Lettic: "Load o' valrak piss that is! They're turquoise at best. More green than blue."
Farric: "What if we split the difference and called them sea-colored?"
Lettic: "The sea's lot's of colors."
Farric: "Whatever."
Scary movies or happy endings?
Farric: "Scary, 100%, all the time."
Lettic: "Sc- what? You? You wrote- how many- six! Six plays for the Zenith festivals, and not one of them had an ending anything less that idylic!"
Farric: "Didn't want to deal with parents asking questions."
Lettic: "That is surprisingly reasonable of you."
Any special talents?
Farric: "Singing, lutistry, floutistry, drawing, poetry, I can do a double backflip, the list goes on."
Lettic: "No it doesn't, that's about it."
Farric: "Flirting, doing a double frontflip, walking around all sneaky like... What can you do?"
Lettic: "Lift ten times your weight."
Farric: "...Showoff."
Where were you born?
Lettic: "The Kandrasilk's old place."
Farric: "I think the question is more like 'What town'."
Lettic: "Where means where. If you want a more general answer, ask someone else."
Farric: "Phanyr."
Do you have any pets?
Farric: "Nah. I do a lot of goatherding, but they're not my goats. And can herd animals even be pets?"
Lettic: "Same here."
What sports do you play?
Farric: "No."
Lettic: "I wrestle. I run, but not as well as Cellic. Other than that, nothing organized."
How tall are you?
Farric: "Taller than him, and that's all that matters. I think I'm a thumb or two taller than Ayfin as well."
Lettic: "On the shorter side of average."
What was your favorite subject in school?
Farric: "Didn't have anything formal, I just read up on everything. I read a lot of color theory, even though I'm not much good with paint. Prefer sketching myself."
Lettic: "I like numbers. Exact. Dependable. Negative square roots are the work of the devil."
What is your dream job?
Farric: "I- I don't know that I've ever asked myself that. I don't think it's worthwhile. We should ask ourselves how best to live the life we have, rather than wasting our time on what could be."
Lettic: "Strange thing to say for a poet. Personally, I just want to find someone worth serving. I hear good things about King Faldarin, but I'm not certain about him yet. For now, old man Fargriz treats us proper, so I'm fine working for someone as true as him for the time being.

OC Interview Tag 2
Thanks for the tag, @pandoras-comment-box! I'll be using Luna from Traveling Bards.
What are you most protective of?
Luna: "Dinner."
Can you be trusted with a pet? A house plant?
Luna: "Both, I'd say!"
Iris (from another room): "No the fuck you can't!"
Luna: "What?! Yes I can! I had loads of plants in our old world! The only reason I didn't have a pet was 'cause my apartment had a crazy high pet fee!"
Iris: "Yeah, but all your plants were dead! Mom had to take them from you because you kept forgetting to water them!"
Luna: "Shut up! I was just busy! My work hours sucked!"
Iris (now in the doorway): "Luna can't be trusted with anything that can't audibly communicate. Or punch her in the face."
Luna: *offended gasp*
Do you like sports? Which ones?
Luna: "Sports are alright, but I mean, I've never really been an athlete? I guess martial arts, if that counts. I also working out. Especially now that there's literal magic benefits involved!"
I hope I did this right!
Questions for you:
If you were to wake up in another universe, what's the one thing you would take with you?
What kind of person pisses you off the most?
How often do you dream? Are they usually dream-dreams, or nightmares?

Thank you for the tag @anyablackwood! I've never got to do anything for my OCs before 😁 I'm going to use my main from Decompose (a YA sci-fi novel), he's called Harry Thorpe.
Are you named after anyone?
My grandpa I think.
When was the last time you cried?
Um, I don't feel comfortable answering.
Do you have kids?
Nah, I'm only 16... Someday, maybe.
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Me? Nooo... 👀 My sister Delilah uses it more though.
What's the first thing you notice about people?
Their hands. Their shoes.
What's your eye colour?
Murky blue.
Scary movies or happy endings?
I'd much prefer a happy endings these days.
Any special talents?
Norah says I read at a freakish rate. Isaac says I'm a good kisser if that counts...
Where were you born?
London, British Kingdom.
Do you have any pets?
What's a pet again? Oh no, those haven't been allowed for years.
What sort of sports do you play?
Are you having a laugh?
How tall are you?
5"7
What is your favorite subject in school?
English, although I miss how many books we used to get through in my old sector.
What is your dream job?
I'm not sure what jobs I could even do now. Moving to a new sector has changed things. And well, joining an underground rebellion isn't exactly great on a CV. Maybe a writer. Definitely got a story to tell.
I'm going to do an open tag, please tag me if you take it, I want to hear about your OCs 💖

OC Interview Tag
Thanks for the tag @honeybewrites and @fractured-shield!!
Decided to go for Ryo with this one!
Were you named after anyone?
Not that I know of? Humans do tend to name their kids after others more than elves, but I'm not sure.
When was the last time you cried?
Last week when I finished reading a book. Listen! It was a really good book :(
Do you have any kids?
No, we honestly haven't talked about it. Our line of work can be a bit risky? But... Kids are cute...
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Not really, you know who does? Blake. Az does a bit too. To be honest it just goes over my head most of the time.
What is the first thing you notice about people?
Their mood! A person's mood will greatly influence my interaction with them, so I try to notice their mood so I can adjust accordingly and make our interaction as pleasant as possible.
What is your eye color?
Light-brown! Generally elves have fancier eye colors, but I got mine from the human side of the family.
Scary movies or happy endings?
Happy endings, of course!
Any special talents?
Hmm, I wouldn't say so? I'm definitely the least talented of us. Oh! But I'm definitely the best cook, that's for sure.
Where were you born?
In the Kingdom of Carya! Beautiful place.
Do you have any pets?
We don't... Pets would also be cute.
What sort of sports do you play?
To be honest with you, the three of us are kind of allergic to sports.
How tall are you?
A full 182cm.
What was your favorite subject in school?
Would it be wild to say I did not go to school? Most schools in Carya are human-led, but they wanted an elfish education for me, so I was homeschooled.
What is your dream job?
I'm happy with what I do, so I guess this is my dream job!
Open tag until I'm done catching up with my *checks* 20 tags!

OC Interview Tag
Thank you, @agirlandherquill for the tag. Looking forward to this.
Now, maybe its bending the rules, but I'm going to use both my protags from one of my novels: The sisters, Cerris and Elena, from Signs of Light and Shadow.
Were you named after anyone? -
Cerris: "Not that we're aware of."
Elena: "Mum and Dad never mentioned it if we were."
When was the last time you cried? -
Cerris: "It's... been a long time."
Elena: "A few weeks ago. I got stung by bramble and it bloody hurt."
Do you have any kids? -
Cerris: "Um... No. And not likely any time soon. Perhaps I'll adopt if I meet the right girl who can make an honest woman of me."
Elena: "No, but when I meet the right man. I'm hoping for a little girl."
Do you use sarcasm a lot? -
Cerris: "Me? No. Whatever would give you that idea? Me? Sarcastic? Never."
Elena: "Only when Cerris is being annoying. So fairly often."
What is the first thing you notice about people? -
Elena: "Their stance, their baring, their clothes. What can I guess of their place in society."
Cerris: "If they're carrying a weapon."
What is your eye colour? -
Elena: "A rich brown. Like Mum."
Cerris: "A deep blue. Like Dad."
Scary movies or happy endings? - (Assuming these two have seen movies. Pretend they're talking about plays.)
Cerris: "I like a good thrill, so something scary."
Elena: "Happy endings. Romances are my favourite."
Any special talents? -
Cerris: "I can fight two wolves at once on a good day."
Elena: "And I can patch her up when she inevitably gets hurt."
Where were you born? -
Cerris: "Here, in the Greenveil Woods, in a house in the trunk of a tree. It's where we've lived our whole lives."
Elena: "I do wonder why Mum and Dad chose to live out here, so far from civilisation."
Do you have any pets? -
Cerris: "No. The forest isn't the best place for them."
Elena: "There was a wildcat we tried to tame once. After three days, it scratched me and ran away."
What sort of sports do you play? -
Cerris: "None, not unless you consider fighting or hunting a sport."
Elena: "I don't, personally, but horse riding has always appealed to me."
How tall are you? -
Elena: "I am taller than average."
Cerris: "That's a lie. I'm average and you're a finger's breadth shorter than me."
Elena: "Only because you wear boots all the time."
What was your favourite subject in school? -
Cerris: "We... didn't go to school."
Elena: "No, but if we had, calligraphy always seemed of interest to me. That is a subject in school, right?"
What is your dream job? -
Cerris: "If I had to pick? Maybe a professional hunter, or a guard in the local watch. Something outdoors."
Elena: "A politician. In a glamourous royal court. Where I could catch the eye on a nobleman or a prince. A role of great importance."
Cerris: "...Perhaps I'd get a job as her bodyguard in case she annoys anyone important."
And done. I really enjoyed that.
Now, for tags. I guess I'll just tag a few of my mutuals.
@tryingtowritestuff24
@philosophika / @thesorcerersapprentice
@ghostlyreveries / @wintherlywords
@fayeiswriting
@mikathewriter
Sorry if anyone's been tagged in this already, and enjoy! Have fun with this.

OC Interview Tag
Thanks for the tag, @willtheweaver (here)!
I'll go with Renn Atrius from Song of Thorns.
Were you named after anyone?
"I'm not sure. My parents weren't that close to their respective relatives, due to a myriad of reasons - the main one being that my maternal grandparents are vampire hunters, and my father was a vampire. You can imagine how uncomfortable the family meetings were. Dad said my name means 'honesty, love or benevolence' - I think it's a pretty great name."
When was the last time you cried?
"Hmm. I'm not sure to be honest. It was probably a while ago - I occasionally have nightmares about... well an incident, in my past. Those dreams do make me cry most times, but they have been few and far between lately, which is good."
Do you have any kids?
"None. I'm pretty young still for a dhampir - my current age is equivalent to 18 in human years, so I'm basically still a kid myself - and regardless, I've been too busy not being hunted by the people who want me dead and trying to rebel against the King to even consider something like that. I probably won't for a long time."
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
"Yes, all the time! Especially when I'm trying to annoy that fancypants asshat of a prince I have to travel with. That is priceless."
What is the first thing you notice about people?
"Let's see (starts listing the following with his fingers): if they're a Hunter, if they work for my psychopath of a grandfather, if they're another stupid villager ready to call a mob with torches and pitchforks to go after yours truly, and so on and so forth... There's a lot to consider when you're in my shoes. Other than that, I guess I try to notice their demeanor, a bit of their personality, and whether or not I'd like to waste my time talking to them."
What is your eye color?
"Light greyish brown, like my mother's. When I use my vampiric powers, my eyes glow a bright red, like blood but glowing like two little lanterns."
Scary movies or happy endings?
"Happy endings. I don't like the feeling of fear that much and the world is already horrifying enough for me to subject myself to more scares while reading fiction. Ha, if I wanted to endure something scary, I'd just have to tell a random villager I'm half-vampire or go out into the cursed woods alone. Happy endings are honestly my favorite thing about some books - they show us that no matter how bleak things may seem, there can be a brighter future ahead."
Any special talents?
"It depends. I'm a great swordfighter, have perfect aim with my bow and arrow, and am very agile - after my family was betrayed I survived mostly as a thief stealing from corrupt humans, so I had to learn how to climb things and be silent, which are also talents I consider special. Oh, and I can turn into either a giant bat or a really tiny one - transforming into a giant bat is easier and lasts for a longer period of time! My Dad taught me how to."
Where were you born?
"I was born in my family's manor in the vampiric lands, where I lived with my Dad until he was killed by a Hunter when I was around five years old, during a diplomatic visit to my human grandfather's lands."
Do you have any pets?
"Yes, I have a pet raven called Cornelius. I call him Corn for short! He's a little crazy bastard of a bird and I love his chaotic energy, haha."
What sort of sports do you play?
"I'm pretty active. I'm constantly running, climbing things, and fighting people who try to hurt me, so I guess that counts, plus I often fly around in my bat form, which is a great exercise for the arms (as they're my wings when I'm in my bat form). I also practice archery and sword fighting quite frequently!"
How tall are you?
"I'm honestly not sure. Probably 5.9ft. So around 179 centimeters? I think. I haven't had time to really measure my height if I'm being honest, haha."
What was your favorite subject in school?
"I was born a noble, so I would have had private tutors teach me instead of going to a traditional school like humans do - fey don't really do institutions like that, and learning from tutors and parents is the custom in vampiric and fey lands. But my Dad died when I was five - so I was orphaned and had to learn to survive on the run since the Hunters also wanted to kill me. I didn't really have that chance. Before that, it was my father who taught me how to read, write, and draw. He also used to teach me a lot about vampiric history and botany. When we visited my mother in the human lands she taught me a bit about sewing."
What is your dream job?
"I'm not sure. I would love to be an adventurer and help people whom the kingdom has forsaken, but I'm not sure if that counts as a job traditionally. If I manage to aid others during my lifetime in any way and make the world a better place than it was before, even if just a little bit, then that's enough for me."

Tag Game: OC Interview (Round 3)
Thanks to @willtheweaver for the tag!
Gunblade duo has been on my mind lately, so I'm going to do it with them this time around.
TW: swearing, death threats
Are you named after anyone?
Draven: If I was, my parents never bothered to tell me. Does my last name count? If so then yes, technically.
Octavian: Not to my knowledge.
When was the last time you cried?
Draven: Not recent enough to remember, I can tell you that much.
Octavian: *hesitates* It... it was when I arrived at the southern Draigo stronghold... only to find it in utter ruins and completely empty.
Do you have kids?
Draven: Nope. Octavian likes to bring in strays, though.
Octavian: You say that like you're also not attached to them. None biologically, but I've cared for a fair few lost children, such as Reese.
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Draven: No... whatever could give you that idea?
Octavian: Not nearly as much as he does.
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
Draven: If I could take 'em in a fight. Could be gun fight, could be fist fight, could be battle of wits. But that's the first thing I think about.
Octavian: *sigh* My sense of smell is stronger than most, so I usually notice a person's scent first. It can tell you a lot about a person. *side-eyes Draven* Is that really what you think about?
Draven: Heh. Yeah. When we met I thought I could take you in a gun fight. Still can.
What’s your eye colour?
Draven: Dark brown.
Octavian: Yellow.
Draven: Sometimes I wonder how it was such a surprise to me that you were part wolf. I mean you got the yellow eyes, the silver hair, the weird sense of smell....
Octavian: *long-suffering sigh*
Scary movies or happy endings?
Draven: Oh definitely scary. I'd love to make fun of whatever you find terrifying.
Octavian: I don't know. I guess I don't have a preference.
Draven: You just don't want to say you're a coward.
Octavian: Cozenson I swear on the celestials---
Any special talents?
Draven: I didn't get my reputation on luck. I'm a fantastic shot and skilled at investigation and tracking, all the things one needs to be a lycanthrope hunter.
Octavian: Fighting and traveling are all I've ever known. I'm good with my knives and if needed I always have my other form.
Where were you born?
Draven: Born and raised in Valdove, on the south side of the western continent.
Octavian: It's... complicated.
Do you have any pets?
Draven: *slowly widening grin*
Octavian: If you say what I think you're about to say I swear upon the fucking celestials that no one will ever find your body.
*the interviewer notes visible fear in Draven's eyes*
What sort of sports do you play?
Draven: I... uh... I used to participate in shooting contests back when I was training at the Guild.
Octavian: Growing up, a lot of my activities involved training, especially in agility. Running, climbing, reflexes, and so on.
How tall are you?
Draven: Somewhere around 6 feet, give or take an inch.
Octavian: I'm slightly taller than he is.
Draven: *mumbles* key word is "slightly"
What was your favourite subject in school?
Draven: I got bored easily when I was younger, hated all of it, did the bare minimum to graduate and get the depths out of there.
Octavian: I have some fond memories of when I was training with a handful of other young devar to reach out to our other forms.
What is your dream job?
Draven: I'm doing it right now! Lycanthrope hunting has the right kind of organized chaos for a person like me.
Octavian: I used to be a messenger for the Draigo, and would travel endlessly between the elven blockade and the southern stronghold. Now, I'm happy enough doing what he's doing, but not for the same reasons.
Draven: Celestials, that sounds boring. Did you even get to know the messages you carried?
Octavian: Usually only the verbal ones.
Draven: You definitely have it better now.
Octavian: ...
I had a little too much fun writing this out hehe :3

Second OC Interview Tag!
Also brought to you by @mysticstarlightduck in this tag here! lol Thanks!!
Quickly tagging: @concealeddarkness13, @bloodlessheirbyjacques @words-after-midnight @bassguitarinablackt-shirt @silviathebard @adie-dee
And the OC Wheel has fallen upon...Lily!! (Becks' oldest kid)
Are you named after anyone?
Nope. So far as I know a lily was the first flower I was able to grow and I sorta grew it as a way to tell my mom that I trusted her after she saved me from a gargoyle that was trying to kill me.
When was the last time you cried?
Um. Last...tuesday? No. Thursday. Hell I don't know! I don't keep track of things like that.
Do you have kids?
AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA *keeps laughing* Ahhhhhhh...no. No, no no no. I do nanny for a lot of kids, but um. No. I'm not really kid-making material.
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Me? No. Why would I do that? *grin*
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
How they hold themselves. How they walk. Stuff like that.
What’s your eye color?
...Amber? I think. I think it's amber.
Scary movies or happy endings?
Happy endings, definitely.
Any special talents?
I do that thing where you spin plates on a stick and hold one in each hand and one on my nose. Does that count?
Where were you born?
Um...in a cave? I think? I dunno, I was a baby somewhere out in the Mojave. That's pretty much all I know.
Do you have any pets?
Um...I mean there's a horse that wanders around made of moss and leaves and branches and stuff. He's not mine, but he kinda wanders around where I live and I'll make sure that he hasn't been found and mobbed or something. My sister also made these little mud frogs that are hopping around somewhere and I try to make sure they don't get stepped on...um...
What sports do you play?
Cricket! But really only so I can tease this guy I know about how it's just baseball with flat bats instead of round ones. Well, that's currently. I've played baseball, basketball, soccer, a little rugby, volleyball, badminton, boxing...I was on a wrestling team...and a hockey team...darts...I was a local ping-pong champion in this little cute town back in '38 that could've gone further if the mages hadn't identified me because of it...
How tall are you?
As tall as I am!
What was your favorite subject in school?
UGH don't even talk to me about school. I've been in and out of school since the beginning of the 20th century and I am so over it. I mean...I might be going back to college soon, but...UGH if I never have to see another textbook until then it'll be too soon.
What is your dream job?
I don't...actually know, really. I went from running with my mom to being on my own and looking for my mom to actually finding my mom and all the insanity that's happened and I...Well I...I mean there's a chance that I might be doing something that I would love to be doing, but I wouldn't say it's a dream job. I never really had a dream job, you know? My dream was to find my mom. I...didn't really think of what life would be like after that. But I'm happy where I am now, you know? It's good.
