Un-transformersed a few OCs because I got the urge to link a bunch of my stories together (lore under cut)

It made a lot of sense to me that eldritch gods beyond mortal comprehension wouldn't naturally be from Skip's world, so I took Hawthorne/Briar King (who's basically an eldritch god) and a new OC, The Warden, and assigned them as the catalysts for the apocalypse that results in O.S. Installed: S.K.I.P. alongside Esmerelda. Once they wipe out all the humans, Esme sticks around, the Warden goes back home to resume surveying the multiverse, creating a small robot assistant/daughter to help out, and Hawthorne goes around other universes because he's not satisfied with his vengeance yet and wants more worlds to feel his wrath, getting caught up in a prophecy and eventually getting defeated by Ashley and Mellodica who adopt him as their dad.

Shadow is also one of the elder god siblings, but they didn't get captured by scientists because they were busy being a force of chaos in another universe. They assume they're just a regular void creature for several thousand years and don't understand why cults keep worshipping them until they meet their twin brother and everything clicks. Shadow is the best worst influence on their nieces.

~The Black Briars Chapter 1: Dear Diary~

Time ticked by on the clock as a girl sat at her desk. A new journal sat before her, but it seems finding what to write about might be harder than she thought. Hi, I’m Dakota!, she wrote down to get started. “Hmm. What else do I want to write about?” She sat for a minute twirling the pen around between her fingers. A calico cat slept soundly on the desk beside her. She looked over at her cat and smiled. Then she began to write again, I have a cat! Her name is Lil’ Tater! She then turned her gaze to the framed pictures hanging on the wall nearby. I have a great family and great friends! I love hanging out with all of them! She was now looking all around her room for ideas. Let’s see…I like music, food, stupid and funny stuff, all the essentials! She looked down at the words written on the paper, a satisfied smile on her face. The smile then turned to a look of worry. The pen began to move again. There…is something else. I honestly didn’t want to write about it, I don’t want to think about it again but…I had a nightmare the other night. I can’t really remember it. But I remember being scared, waking up scared. For some reason, I can’t stop thinking about it. It keeps coming back to the front of my mind. She shook her head to try to get rid of the foreboding thought. But that kinda sounds silly. Everyone has nightmares. So, there’s nothing to worry about! I’m fine and everything’s ok! “Maybe I’ll just turn this into a sketchbook for silly little doodles or something.” As she daydreamed of all the possible memes she could draw, a chill crept up her spine and made the hair on the back of her neck stand straight up. She whirled around to face the window directly behind her. The curtains had been opened earlier in the day to let some sunshine in. And that’s all that was before her now: gentle sunlight and the shadows of leaves dancing therein. But she could have sworn it felt like something was watching her. It felt like it was breathing down her neck… Lil’ Tater just let out a big yawn, completely unfazed by what may or may not have just happened. Dakota blinked a few times. “Heh. Must’ve been my imagination!” She smiled to help reassure herself, but it faded as she turned her attention back to the window. Despite her usual contagious cheer, she knew deep down that something was wrong.

It was only a few days later. Dakota stood looking into the mirror, her sleepy reflection blinking back at her. “What is wrong with me? This isn’t like me at all…” Letting out a yawn, she continued on. “I keep having that same nightmare. Every time I sleep now! I still can’t remember what happens in it, but the bad feelings it gives me stick. Even bothering me when I’m awake...Ugh. I’d fight to stay awake but…I’m just so so tired…” She gave a downcast look to the ground knowing how much she loves to sleep. “And ever since the other day with what happened, I keep feeling like I’m being watched…” She looked around and shuddered as she said this. “Am I losing my mind?…..Aaaand I’m talking to a cat.” Sure enough at the foot of her bed sat Lil’ Tater. The cat walked over to Dakota, purring and seeking head pats. “Aww! Such a sweet girl!” Dakota smiled as she pet her cat. “This’ll pass. It has to. Besides, I don’t want anyone to worry about me. So I’ll just be my usual happy self!” Just then, a small tapping sound could be heard. She stiffened up and looked in its direction. It was coming from the window. The curtains were closed as it was the middle of the night, but that just made the whole thing worse. Dakota sat quietly looking at the window, she dare not make a sound or move. Even Lil’ Tater was bristled up now. The tapping got faster and faster until it turned to a frantic scratching. Then it all abruptly stopped. A few moments of silence passed. Just as Dakota let out her held breath, the noises began again; now just right outside her door. Now inside her home. Before she could react, black thorns sprung forth from the walls, ceiling and floor. The door began to creak open and the first thing she could get out was, “I don’t remember my door being that squeaky!” Lil’ Tater let out a loud hiss and bolted into hiding. Long, black claws wrapped themselves around the door as it opened. Dakota grabbed the first thing she could: the lamp from her desk. A face began to form in the darkness of the open doorway. She tightly shut her eyes, “No no no! This can’t be real!” She pinched her face to try to wake herself up. This had to be another nightmare; it just had to be. When her eyes opened, all she could hear was the sound of her heart throbbing in her ears. Now hunched over just inches from her was the intruder. A demon-like creature made from twisting thorns, horns to tail. Its eyes like burning hellfire and a twisted grin stretching across its face. They stood there, eyes locked, for what felt like a brief eternity. The lamp she had grabbed for defense fell to the floor as her arms went limp. Just as she went to take a slow step back, it opened its twisted maw and let out an ear-piercing screech. Lunging straight at her, its mouth stretched open and thorns made from the same as the creature’s body surrounded her. Dakota blacked out immediately. She could feel herself slowly falling through a black void. How long had she been falling? As her eyes opened ever so slightly, a figure of a boy was just before her, his body made up of only static. His hand reached out gently grabbing hers just as her consciousness faded once more.

Ok so, I thought I should lay out how Ever After Highs's school system works within my universe, particularly to sort out the ages for my ocs so y'all know what's going on.

Eah works like an (American) highschool, in which there are four years the students attend. It starts with their first year, which the students have dubbed the Prologue year. It's the start of students learning more about their stories and how to properly play their roles. Their second and Third years are often called Act I and Act II, and these years are where they take classes that will aid them in making sure their stories play out correctly. They end with their Epilogue Year (more commonly called Legacy Year), in which they sign the Story Book of Legends and follow in their parents footsteps.

hey guys. gonna have a moment and do a good old fashioned kat speak from the heart post so here we go.

i’m so fuckin’ thankful for all of you. thanks be so much to those of you who have stuck by me. thanks be to those of you who love me. thanks be to those of you who so much as spare me a positive thought in your day. i’m grateful to exist here in a space where even when i’m going through a lot and i disappear, i’m welcomed back so beautifully and so openly.

it’s been a difficult go of it. this is the very first time in my life i’m learning myself, and that’s a very complicated thing to try to do at 32. the concept of ‘having things figured out’ isn’t quite a logical concept at all nowadays.

i’m grateful for learning i can be loved, and in a huge way a lot of you have contributed to that. @shelassos is always so supportive and always has a kind word when i really need it like intrinsically. @crimeloyalty is one of the most marvelous writers i know, and has rekindled in me an old love of something i didn’t even know came true for me (yeah, batquinn is very dear to my heart and i’m not kidding when i say it’s so healing to think something that beautiful i always wanted came true???). @rekhenung is my brother, the person who i can confidently say we’re on a forever journey together, and whenever i look over there you are, and making me prouder every day. @inexactexpiration has been a close, close, close, very bestie brother mine for so long i got to see him get married, and witnessing and feeling his happiness was my greatest joy. @vorcotec is one of my most cherished people and no matter what, i’ll never ever feel like i can do anything but go to rabbit as though nothing has ever changed. @bornbreathless has made me want to write my goddamn oc again, truly. has made me realize i can make something worthwhile, and inspired so much of the development that kitty would not be who she is without you today. @misereternal has always been the best of all and any, standing by no matter how many ages i tend to disappear for. and so talented at sparking my creativity— at making me feel loved when i need it the most. without my fox shaped sibling sometimes i don’t think i’d know what it felt like to feel accepted. @zloslwy might only just be someone i’m speaking to now closely, but i’ve always admired with such great ferocity the talent and unabashed passion they attack every character of theirs, and i find myself more often than not inspired just by reading their work. @pessimistics has been wonderfully welcoming to a passion i have for a show i have not seen simply because i developed a passion for a character from said show i have not seen only through hart’s work. rustin’s so important to me, and i mean that, and i only know what you’ve written. @atrohphy is a constancy i cannot tell you how much i adore— not just a bright light, but a person i always feel like i can say practically anything to. pitch anything to, and receive back some ingenuity. @villainsrph is someone i met through a fucking accidental giveaway and to this day i can’t go through a moment without thinking about spending two hours on a random friend date in burrito bar having what i still consider one of the most fun times of my life, and i always feel welcome with briar, who has a talent for making everyone feel welcome. @asteritm has left me messages that at times have legitimately saved my entire day from the depths, and sometimes just straight up saved me. @parameddie is one of the most intelligently thought out writers i’ve ever, ever seen and i’m in love with every single thing ric writes because all of it is fascinating. all of it is driven by such a powerfully analytical lens— none of her characters are ever just characters, but they’re studies, too. @jokethur does such beautiful writing that there isn’t a day goes by i don’t find myself idly scrolling headcanons just out of curiosity limitless. i think i’ve rattled off everything i can through my glasses fogging constantly. @standbetween is an absolute gift. a person whose positive vibes emanate into my life. a dude who writes a character so marvelously that frankly i care not about the series. I care about thom and bishop’s heart and that’s all.

i have been through a relationship that i genuinely thought was it, but it was an experience i had, and i still got through it— albeit delayed, with the help of a lot of you guys. a lot of you i love so much. through my mom’s sickness, losing her; through grad school and fluctuating depressions— through so much of the hard stuff, you have been here for me. and for that i am grateful. i am thankful for the patience and love i’ve been shown at my hardest and i’m thankful for the honesty i’ve been given when i’m at my most difficult. i’m just thankful for all of you, and i need you to know that.

writing is my catharsis. musing is my catharsis. thinking, talking, creating, is all my catharsis. and i wouldn’t have it without you all.

5 kitties wandering around a silly forest. These are all my Warrior cat OCs I guess! They were for RP groups but I've since left them and so now they travel together as a funny little group. Left to Right they are.. Swan, Snowdrop, Briar, Mapleleaf and Speckle. It was supposed to be a simple lil' doodle but then I thought, what if I mess with shading, lighting and all that jazz? So I did-- and it was honestly fun! I wanna try to fully render art with a background one day but this is a cool little step.
