Maintenance was never easy, it wasn't due to lack of instruction and more due to a single dramatic bunny. He groaned and snapped his jaw at you whenever the day came. And you finally had it.

Grabbing the sides of his face, you pull it close to yours, ignoring the smell of rot for the moment. "Alright listen here-"

The animatronic is frozen while you go off on a tangent, venting all your frustrations out. But he is not at all listening. No, instead he stares deep into your eyes. He'd always admired them from a far and occasionally when he'd assist you with daily tasks. But you two had never been this close. He comes to the conclusion that he wouldn't mind drowning in them, even if that meant more scoldings from now on. He'd do anything to be this close again.

His mind takes note of every crinkle of the eye, every slight movement from here to there as you ragefully explained how this would go so much faster if he stopped moving, and how those pretty little things were only centered on him. You knew how much Springtrap relished in attention, any and all forms. Now was no different.

He must've chuckled since you ask, "What's so funny??"

As smooth as ever, he holds a hand to your cheek. His voice still raspy and tight from the years of being unused, along with an injury never quite healed correctly, he responds with a single word.

"Pretty."

And that's all it takes for you to forget your argument. At least for a few moments before you realize how you can use this to your advantage.

"....well. If you sit still you can look at them longer."

The suit creaks and clicks as he tilts his head to the side, considering. You hear a rumble in his chest and he taps your cheek with a finger. "Yes."

With that agreement, you settle closer to him, testing his movements while he stares deeply into your features.

please i love you i'm begging you bring back suspension of disbelief bring back trusting the audience like. i cannot handle any more dialogue that sounds like a legal document. "hello, i am here to talk to you about the incident from a few minutes ago, because i feel you might be unwell, and i am invested in your personal wellbeing." "thank you, i am unwell because the incident was hurtful to me due to my childhood, which was bad." I CANT!!!!

do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!

Ive said this before but swear the biggest skill to learn as an adult is how to resist high-pressure sales tactics. You do NOT have to answer questions with anything other than "Sorry I'm not interested." No matter how nice they are or no matter how many follow up questions they ask or even how agitated they get when you stand your ground. Just keep saying I'm not interested. Don't answer their questions. Don't give them an opening to try to push back on your reasons. Be a fucking brick wall of I'm not interested.

i was cuddling with my boyfriend last night when his shoulder started tensing up (like he was readjusting or gently pushing me off) and when i asked him if he was okay or needed me to move or something he went “no you’re fine, i was just imagining myself pulling a large rope. i didn’t even realize my shoulder was doing that lmao” then refused to elaborate and i have never been as attracted to him as i was in that moment.

I could think of no better way to share the news than this!

So when I was 17, my cat went missing and I'd given up hope of ever seeing him again.

Until on Monday, 27th of May, 2024, my friend sent me a FB post asking 'isn't that your mother?' about the person named on the microchip.

Here he is! 16 years old, and found safe, twelve whole years after he went missing!

Yesterday (Tuesday the 28th of May, 2024) I went to the rescue that had him, and I reclaimed my boy, renaming him Artie! (He'd originally been called 'Cat' because my mother and I couldn't decide on a name)

He's home safe with me now, currently inhabiting my bathroom and purring up a storm every time someone goes in there!

I'll be doing slow introductions between him and my current cat to give them the best possible chance of living in harmony!
