I really am tired of feeling so tired and lost.
I’m glad that I finally have a diagnosis, but knowing it’s PCOS and just something I have to struggle with 24/7 is frustrating. I thought my sister would be more supportive and give advice since she has been diagnosed with it for years, but she doesn’t really listen since “she fixed hers” and just thinks I am being lazy.
I don’t know. I just don’t really know what to do or where to go and I wish I had a solid friend to motivate and work through this with together because there’s just so much bullshit to wade through online and it’s already draining.
I want to feel better again. I’m too young to feel so run down all the time.

🌸 Why Is PCOS So Common Today | Live Fit Forever 🌸
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) affects 1 in 5 women — and its numbers are rising. But why?
🤔 Here are some key reasons:
🔹 Modern lifestyle – Stress, lack of sleep, and sedentary habits disrupt hormonal balance.
🔹 Unhealthy diets – Processed foods and sugar spikes can lead to insulin resistance.
🔹 Environmental toxins – Everyday exposure to endocrine disruptors plays a hidden role.
🔹 Genetics – If your mom or sister has it, you might too.
🔹 Lack of awareness – Many live with symptoms for years without knowing.
PCOS is common, but it’s manageable with the right care and support. 💪 Speak up, get diagnosed, and take control of your health. 💚

My brain fog is so bad. I put away my sleep mask this morning and in no time at all I forgot where it was. I was looking around the backyard in case one of the dogs had gotten it. Reminds me to take my supplements!

Home/Indoor Exercises for PCOS
I have been in lockdown for almost 1 month and at this stage, there seems to be no end in sight. Being in isolation and at home 24-7, some days feel really long especially not being able to see friends, family and go about your normal activities like going to the gym. I miss working out in the gym and attending fitness classes.
I started to revert back to my old self, sitting at home in front of the TV after my workday is over and constantly looking for snacks, chocolates, and junk food throughout the day. I noticed that some of my PCOS symptoms have started coming back i.e. pimples, oily hair, moody, sluggish, tired, and a lack of energy. One day, I woke up telling myself that I have to change and I started incorporating workout routines from home.
By finding new ways to get moving and stay motivated, you can take charge of your mood and well-being, retain a sense of control during these days of great uncertainty. These are some of my favorite home exercises for PCOS. Note: I complete different exercises on alternate days and rest the next day. For example, I might do a HIIT exercise on Monday, rest on Tuesday and do Zumba on Wednesday and rest Thursday and so forth.
HIIT exercises - I am currently following this youtube video and I absolutely love it! It's not too intense and it's a good workout for beginners like me > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UItWltVZZmE
Zumba exercises - There are so many good videos out there but this is my favorite because they have 'normal' and not super fit people in the workout video which is awesome to see! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gC_L9qAHVJ8
Abs exercises - This form of exercise is less intense than the first two so you can do this on days when your body is in recovery mode or you've had a long day in the office and want something quick and relatively easy. This is my go-to video at the moment > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pLT-olgUJs
I would love to hear what are some of your favorite home workout routines during the lockdown period?

📢NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) has been scientifically studied to have numerous benefits for PCOS 👉NAC is a powerful antioxidant that works to reduce inflammation since inflammation is a hallmark factor of PCOS 👉It lowers insulin resistance which effects most of the women with PCOS. 👉It helps to lower androgens ( male hormones ), since elevated levels of male hormones can cause symptoms like acne, facial hair, irregular periods, hair loss which aggravates the condition. 👉Regulates menstrual cycle and improves fertility.

Research has found that what people eat has a significant effect on PCOS. That said, there is currently no standard diet for PCOS.
However, there is widespread agreement about which foods are beneficial and seem to help people manage their condition, and which foods to avoid.

3 years ago I took out my IUD to try and get pregnant again. I was diagnosed after a year of trying with PCOS cause I lost my cycle completely for 6 months. We moved into our new home and decided to say to hell with it and see what would happen on our own. Well. After being here for 3 months it finally happened. Baby 3 here we come

I'm gonna get really personal here so scroll along if you're not interested.
It is day 12 of my period. Day fricking 12. It has never been this long before. Body WHY CANT YOU BE NORMAL EVER!
It's light as which is nice but I'm over it now.
If I go the GP ( if it doesn't stop soon) they'll probably just blame it on PCOS.
