Children of Darkness (1983). A significant number of American children and teenagers - from all social backgrounds - suffer from mental disorders, schizophrenia, autism and emotional problems, leading them to isolation from society while treating their issues in mental health facilities. But there’s no end in sight for those young individuals when they face obstacles and mistreatment in inadequate places under the supervision of careless and inexperienced professionals. The documentary follows some of those public mental institutions and another private center dealing with troubled kids and reveals what’s wrong with their procedures, and the irreparable harm they cause in those patients.

A scathing indictment of mental health treatment in America, and overall a pretty brutal watch. 7/10.

Mia Thornton’s Apology Tour

Talk about being a flip flopper. Mia Thornton had a Pandora’s Box supposedly full of receipts she never got to use, because… were they really receipts?

After the reunion aired, she has made a completely 180. Now she’s apologising to everyone! Wendy Osefo, Jacqueline Blake, Peter Thomas and even her husband.

I guess she’s referring to accusing Wendy of trying to seduce Peter. 

This reads more as an apology to Peter than Wendy, but it shows that Mia was simply full of shit at the reunion.

But for some reason Peter had gotten furious with Mia, Gordon Thornton and Bravo.

He tried to claim that he didn’t know the Thorntons very well, to which Gordon responded with a video on Mia’s social media account.

He said that Peter was the second man to hold his daughter, and that they had lend him 60.000 dollars, etc. And Peter became silent after that…

Mia went on to apologise to Jacqueline next:

I think Jacqueline was brought on the show by Mia to make herself and Gordon look good.

That they had given her cars. That they took care of her kids. And did they or didn’t they sleep together?

Jacqueline let herself be used as a storyline though. Maybe she didn’t understand how far Mia would go in using her as a storyline.

Again, Mia is full of shit. Would you trust her? I never did.

According to Jacqueline Mia was never the CEO of the company, and I have doubted that from the beginning. She didn’t act or talk like a CEO.

At best I thought it was a glorified, yet empty title given by nepotism.

Lastly, she apologized to Gordon. Was it because she outed that he couldn’t perform sexually with her?

She twisted what Jacqueline had said about needing more dick, but it’s redundant to say because everyone knew what Jacqueline meant by that, unlike Mia.

Mia has been full of shit, but she claims to be on a spiritual healing journey now.

I wish her all the best and good luck with understanding basic communication better next season.

The Girls Trip of Confusion

As the women are busy pointing fingers and calling each other hypocrites, Mia Thornton became drunk on power and tried to force Wendy Osefo out of the show.

Wendy was the one who got a drink and a purse thrown on her, and the women gather around Mia while Wendy leaves the house. 

This is truly bizarre, and wrong!

The situation with Peter Thomas was just an excuse for the women to gang up on Wendy. 

And Wendy was outnumbered by the lack of support in the group.

Karen Huger once again tried to stay neutral and Ashley Darby was the only one who supported Wendy in the moment.

Ashley is so annoying with her TikTok dance routines this season! She appears as self-centred as Kim Kardashian acts with her selfies.

But at least she knows what’s right and wrong in this situation.

And why was Gizelle Bryant calling Ashley a hypocrite about the two assaults on this show, of all people? 

She herself is reacting completely different!

Mia was also mad at Karen for not blindly support her. Mia appeared extremely spoiled, self-righteous and delusional.

She plays the victim, and Gizelle and Robyn Dixon were cuddling her!

That seems like enabling and they might be creating a monster, because Mia quickly got drunk on power.

She tried to throw Ashley and Candiace Dillard Bassett out of the house! As a punishment for visiting Wendy instead of keeping Wendy isolated in the hotel.

Pure mean girl – insecure, mean girl, I might add – behaviour!

But nobody can tell me that Gizelle, Mia and Robyn aren’t trying to force Wendy off the show. 

They acted like everything was perfectly fine with Wendy isolated in a hotel.

And how dare the other women visit Wendy? They were giggling in the car when Mia told Ashley and Candiace to find another place to stay.

Ashley, Candiace and Karen were uncomfortable with the strange situation in Miami and did the right thing by filming with Wendy.

Candiace is understandably triggered by the situation and is especially disappointed in Robyn. 

And it’s understandable, because it’s bullshit.
