She's the daughter Charles always wanted, is Camilla and Sophie's best friend, Anne and Tim adore her, and she's the ride-or-die for William's siblings Zara and Mike and their families. Edward is like the dorky uncle who’s almost a best friend. Even though we don't get to see her interact with the younger Edinburghs as much, the short time we do see them together only proves that she's like an older sister to them. And even I, with my complicated relationship with the Yorks, can admit that, despite what everyone would have us believe, the girl squad of Bea, Cat, and Genie proves everyone wrong with their friendship.

In one key scene, the star-crossed lovers slow dance in London’s Victoria & Albert Museum, despite it being after hours (one of the many perks of being a prince). In the book, Elton John’s “Your Song” plays, but cinematically, that didn’t track for Lopez. “I love Sir Elton — he’s been such a supporter of mine throughout my career — but the scene I envisioned, I couldn’t hear that song,” he tells Billboard. With the help of his music supervisors, the aching, lovelorn voice of Mike Hadreas found its way into the film via Perfume Genius’ 2016 cover of “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” It was originally supposed to be an on-set placeholder until Hadreas recorded a new, different cover, but after living with it for months, Lopez decided he couldn’t see or hear the scene any other way. “I felt terrible calling Mike,” Lopez says. “[I told him] ‘I have good news and bad news. The bad news is I don’t need a cover from you. The good news is I already have one [from you].”

Monkee Tea Party Madness

Fluff, no warnings apply. There's a little bit of yelling, but nothing terrible.

Everything was perfect. The tablecloth had been laid out, wrinkle free, and each of the little tea cups had been placed neatly in a circle around it. Sure, the table was plastic and rickety, but it wasn't like they were actually going to put real food and drinks on it. The tea pot in the center, cutely decorated with little painted flowers, was empty and entirely for show. Five seats, all mismatched and well-loved, were placed around the table. In these seats were Prince Davy, Princess Peter, Queen Mike, Sir Micky, and you! Everyone had dressed up for the occasion, though some were happier about it than others. Happiest among them were you and Mickey.

"Tea, my friend?" He asked, voice pitched down in an attempt to sound more knightly. With a giggle, you stuck your tea cup out towards him. With a grand, sweeping gesture, he grabbed the little tea pot and pretended to pour tea into your cup. You thanked him, of course (it was only polite), and then took a sip. It was simply marvelous!

"...there's no actual tea in there, right?" Davy asked, a little uneasy. He couldn't see any tea. But everyone was carrying on like there actually was some. You pretended to take a sip in response, while Micky rolled his eyes.

"Of COURSE it's actual tea! You think I would serve false tea? How could you accuse me of such a thing?" Mock hurt entered his voice, and Davy sighed.

"But we're playing pretend, aren't we?"

"PRETEND?"

"Calm down, Mick," Mike sighed, holding his own teacup gingerly. "Davy, of course we have real tea. Real biscuits too, and they're delicious. Don't go on about nonsense like that."

"But Mike-"

"Thank you, Michael :)" Peter, although accidentally, cut off Davy. Boy, was this tea party beginning to make Davy upset.

"You're welcome, now how did you do that with your voice-"

"Crumpets, anyone?" Micky asked, just in time. Nobody can know how Peter does that with his voice. It's a secret.

"Yes, please!" You chimed. You were getting a good kick out of watching Davy spin out about this. You knew everyone was playing pretend, sure, but watching them play like everything was real was so much fun. More fun than any pretend tea party could be, even if everyone dressed up like they did now!

"But Micky, there's nothing on your- ohhh, I get it now. You're all having a trick on me. I see, I see." Davy grumbled. When he caught sight of you giggling, though, his face soon lit up. "You wanna know my favorite trick to play?" he asked, mischief glinting in his eyes.

"Don't you dare," Mike warned.

"What trick?" You asked, none the wiser.

"Well, Micky and I have this good friend of ours, don't we Mick?" He cast a glance at Micky, who looked a little confused before getting the same look in his eyes.

"Oh, yes! A very good friend, yes." He put his teacup down. You still had no clue what was happening!

"A friend?"

"Yes, and do you know our friend's name?"

"No...?"

"THE TICKLE MONSTER!" With dual roars, Micky and Davy lunged at you with playful intent, hands darting out to poke and prod at your sides and earning uproarious laughter from you.

"Well, and here I thought we were all going to act like civilized people," Mike sighed, crossing his legs and pretending to take a sip of his, still pretend, tea.

"Not even our tea parties are safe from the threat of the tickle monster," Peter shook his head solemnly. "I just hope they don't break anything this time."

"This time?"

"Oh, did we not tell you?"

At the mention of last time, three mouths abruptly shut and three heads abruptly turned to stare at Peter. While Micky gave him the death glare, you and Davy tried your best to look like pleading puppydogs.

"No, no you did not. What about last time?"

"NOTHING!" Three voices chimed in unison.

"Well, everyone was roughhousing, and you know that vase-"

"YOU BROKE MY VASE?"

...Needless to say, you didn't have anymore tea parties for a while, and the tickle monster was sentenced to a three week break- or until Micky and Davy learned to keep the fiend from breaking any more glass objects.

"Deadbeat dad au!"

"Babe, I think you're being too harsh," Adam spoke careful as he gently placed his hands on his boyfriend's shoulders; who were as tense and firm by touch. A sign that he was both furious and anxious.

Adam rubbed his hands gentle before doing soothing motions that would normally calm the ex seraphim, however, this time it was different. Quite difficult to be infact.

Lucifer huffed as he crossed his arms and took a step away from Adam’s touchy angelic hands.

"How am I being "too harsh"?" He spat bewildered, walking around his room, being followed by a bored Adam. "That bitch left! He abandoned his son without a care of the afterlife and now I'm being too harsh??? No! I'm not fucking overreacting about this! He abandoned Damian when he was just a baby... knowing damn well how heaven is. If it weren't for me, Damian wouldn't be here!"

Lucifer stopped and turned to look at Adam, a look of sadness that made Adam softened.

"I cradle that baby in MY arms, I protected him, I taught him everything I know. From how to walk, from how to speak, to how to write! I drew a line to every inch he grew." He put both hands on his chest to emphasize how strong of an emotion he felt whenever it had to do with one of his babies, "This bastard can't just up and run and then come back like it's nothing! He doesn't know what it feels to wipe Damian's tears, to hear his laugh, to hold on to him when he's hurt. I have all right to feel furious! This is my son!"

Adam sighed. "Yeah. I get that, but maybe... Michael regrets it?"

Lucifer just laughed dryly, "now?"

The first man just shook his head, "it's not even about Michael, when are you planning to tell Damian the truth? I think he's old enough to choose if he wants his dad to be part of his life?"

"Whose side are you in!?"

"Neither but Damian's! You know I'm right, Lucifer. Better off his dad to tell him about Michael than somebody else."

Lucifer looked away, he didn't want to but he knew eventually the truth would come to light.

"I want to know first what Michael is doing here. For all we know he probably still doesn't want to be in Damian's life and just wants to know what's been up with hell and it's connections to heaven. I don't want Damian to get hurt if this bitch isn't actually here to "reconnect" with his- " Lucifer cut himself off, unable to get the words out.

"Son?" Adam slowly finished for him.

Lucifer looked away once more, prideful as ever. Michael would never be his father.

"Oh! There's so much for us to show you! Uh! ... sir?" Charlie tilted her head unsure if it'd be disrespectful to call Michael by his first name other than a proper title for someone of his rank.

Michael chuckled, "you can call me Mike. That's how all my siblings call me."

"Oh!" Charlie's eyes lit up excited, "cool, cool." She tried acting all chill as if it weren't a big deal to be on a nickname level with literally Michael archangel. Internally though, she was freaking out.

"I prefer calling you Michael," Damian said with a smile, "if that isn't a problem?"

Michael looked at him with a not too hidden fondness, giving him a gentle smile, "you can call me whatever you want..."

Charlie pouted, her eyes drifted from Michael to Damian back and forth.

She stepped closer to Damian, whispering into his ear, "I don't want to sound weird but isn't uncle Mike looking at you weird?"

Damian nudged her to shut up and to stop saying such ridiculous things. He continued smiling before gesturing their biggest guest to come inside the dinner room.

Damian and Charlie announced it was dinner time, Michael's presence was immediately the highlight of the evening, being spotted in an instant from his glowing glory by all the sinners there. Everyone eyed him up with devouring and admiring eyes. Michael instantly took the seat right next to Damian. Earning a nudge from a 'I told you somethings up' Charlie to Damian. The prince of hell only hardened his smile as he discretely pinched Charlie’s arm. A gesture to tell her: 'quit it.'

All seats were taken with the exception of three, the shiniest and biggest one there at the far end; proper for a king. And the other right next to it which was strictly reserved for what everyone titles "the concubine' in royal terms (unfortunately for Adam as he is not officially married to the king to be properly titled as prince consort). Charlie and Damian sat right next on Lucifer side. Adam's side was followed by a seat reserved for only Abel or Emily to take in case they decided to visit hell. Which was often vacant when they weren't present or Lute decided to skip a meal again. Adam preferred it that way.

Adam came in being followed by Lute (now a fallen). His most loyal girl. He took a seat and Lute stood right next to his side.

"Take your seat, bitch," Adam scoffed before Lute followed his order with a smug smile. She loved teasing him.

Michael stood abruptly, "Adam!" He looked quite surprised to see him there, well, in hell to be more precise.

Michael had taken notice of a few exorcists inside the crowd of sinners, he assumed some have fallen or by will decided to go down there and check the place out, as for heaven this place seemed more of an exhibit or an amusement park than a actual serious rehabilitation program. That's unfortunately a cruel truth hell would have to face from old conservative ways and views. But he didn't expect to see Adam or Lute there.

Adam arched a brow, he may want Lucifer to tell Damian the truth about Michael but he hated the guy nonetheless for a lot of other shit.

"Yeah?"

Michael puffed his mouth, what exactly did he want to say? He looked around where all eyes had fallen again on the archangel after such a abrupt outburst. He immediately fell back to his seat, deflated, trying to shrink into his seat hoping they'll just all stop staring at him.

The room suddenly got hot as the king of hell arrived to the scene. He stomped his way to his seat, anger visable in his features. He was obviously not happy and everyone kinda conclude who the culprit was of his negative attitude.

Lucifer kissed Adam's cheek swiftly, whispering something to his ear; only for the first man to hear 'I'm sorry. I love you', before seating down.

Adam side eye Lucifer, giving him a quick peck on the cheek before taking a sip of his orange soda. This made the devil loosen up a bit, unable to hold back a small smile. Not matter how angry he was he was far too smitten to ignore Adam's affection.

Michael's mouth fell right open.

"What?" Lucifer glared at the archangel, going right back to his cold deadly attitude.

Michael only shook his head frantic, "nothing!" before focusing on his dish. The only thing that came to mind was 'when did those two get together?'.

The dinner went pretty smooth, Damian and Charlie asked a few questions here and there to Michael while also trying to get to know better the archangel without pushing boundaries. However, they also tried not asking too much to avoid any conflict between their father and Michael, considering their history, both prince and princess were cautious that the two brothers wouldn't be on the best terms which means their father wouldn't be on his best behavior. Which also means their father would be overly defensive and challenging. Basically anything could provoke a flame in matter of seconds from their father that could grow into a disaster they would no longer be able to take out if they weren't careful enough.

They're fully aware letting Michael enter their father's domain with welcome arms is already putting themselves in thin ice, however, having Michael's approval over their goal about redemption would make heaven take their hotel seriously.

It's thin ice but they'll risk walking on it.

After dinner Michael had offered to wash the dishes, as a guest he felt obligated, this ofcourse made both the prince and princess nervously refused to let him, cause it would be rude to let their guest do the cleaning. Damian offered a compromise which Michael immediately agreed with, which was both he and Damian could wash them together. However. Lucifer got in, denying such thing to happen and offering himself to wash them with the enemy. Putting himself in that place instead Damian. Never Damian.

So now the two where stuck together washing dirty dishes. Lucifer kept his eyes solely focused on the task at hand, bluntly ignoring Michael. The dead silence of the room and cold semblance of the devil was far too noticeable for Michael to ignore. Michael kept digging the sponge on to a stubborn smudge that refused to be clean, he felt sweet fall from his forhead. Lucifer was pissed he could understand that but he wanted to make things right.

"I- it’s been awhile... I had to come back, y'know? I missed my home..." Michael finally broke the dreadful silence. He hold back saying he had also missed his son knowing Lucifer would deny that.

"And heaven just took you right in? After what you did? You have no shame."

The devil made it far easier for Michael to regret even speaking, reconsidering again if it was best to keep pushing his brother patience.

Michael bit the inside of his cheek, unsure of what to say. He hasn't been able to speak his truth, he has never had a problem into saying the things he want to say, however today, he's been cut off guard plenty of times without intention. Maybe he wasn't as prepared as he thought he was by facing the consequences of his own actions. Lucifer was rightfully mad at him, but he couldn't find it in him to defend himself, no matter how much he tried preparing himself for this day. He was still the one who ran away and Lucifer was the guy that stepped in.

"Thank you.." Michael let out, squeezing hard on to the sponge, "you've done.. such a great job raising Damian..."

Lucifer frowned, "I don't give a fuck about what you think." The devil kept scrubbing a plate; his hands shaked in anger, as he felt himself get anxious with each scrub.

In matter of seconds he broke the plate he held, looking at it blankly.

"Don't ever in your life thank me for something you didn't ask. You left him at his luck. It was just luck that heaven was stupid enough to invite me to their meeting and believe I'd agree to get rid of him. Fuckers."

Michael swallowed before sighing.

"It may had looked cowardly of me to just up and leave like that... but.."

Lucifer 'tsk' before stepping away and going back to ignoring the archangel without giving him the chance to explain himself.

Michael looked down at his now shiny plate, his reflection looking back at him, his face saddened with guilt.

Listen, come closer. Steddie LadyHawke AU. I know, I know, it's been done before but they modernized it.

Picture this.

Sir Stephan as head of the guard for Bishop William (Billy) and they both fall for the beautiful and ethereal Eddie. He is the adopted nephew of Lord Wayne and crowning jewel of the small principality of Hawkins.

Sir Stephan and Eddie know that they can't wed under the eye of Prince Henry (Vecna) and Bishop William plan to run away together and elope.

Max not knowing that her guardian the Bishop is madly in love with Eddie, tells him of their plans thinking that he could help them get away.

The Bishop is enraged that they would even think of running away and with the help of the Prince place a curse on the pair.

Five years later and Robin, who is a thief and escape artist extraordinaire breaks out of the town prison which was said to be inescapable.

Sir Thomas, the new head of the guard and the Bishop's right hand man is intent on capturing her to find out how she escaped.

She just happens to run into Sir Thomas and the guard right where Sir Stephan was trying to make it back to the center of Hawkins to kill the Bishop and he accidentally rescues her.

But in their running, they move farther away from the Hawkins much to Sir Stephan's ire. When they stop for the night, even though there is still plenty of daylight left, Robin gets annoyed. She wants to get away from the bad men after, stopping now does not accomplish that. So Stephan tells her to leave.

Robin weighs the two options and stays with the buff dude with a very big sword. And strangely a beautiful raven.

Stephan tells her that if she sees a large wolf, run away. Don't engage. He will not be responsible if it eats her.

Robin is confused, there haven't been wolves in the area in decades. But she doesn't argue afraid he'll just leave her behind. He also tells her that when the sun sets to lay out the clothing in right saddle bag and do not talk to the man who comes to get them.

So she does what she's told.

Mostly.

She talks to the young man. Learns his name is Edwin, but everyone calls him Eddie. He's sweet and awkward. And if she was attracted to men, she might just fall in love with him.

The wolf appears and Robin is terrified. But oddly Eddie is not.

Come morning, Stephan is back and the beautiful man is gone. Stephan calls to the raven and he lands on Robin's arm not Stephan's. And ooh boy does that cause a stir.

"I'm gay you daft creature!" she hisses, "Go back to your master!"

Stephan laughs for the first time and the raven lands on Stephan's wrist.

But the guard has caught up with them and a stray arrow hits the raven. Stephan is distraught. Terrified.

He rides for miles, hard and fast to a small fortress. It's run by a group of outcasts. Max, El, Dustin, Will, Mike, and Lucas. All run out of Hawkins for one reason or another.

Max carries the heaviest sin by far.

Stephan yells at the gate. "Come down here and help him. Now!"

They all come running and Robin is confused.

While El and Will seek to heal the bird, Max and Dustin feed Robin. She's worried about Stephan. But Dustin tells her Mike and Lucas have him.

Robin catches Will and El covering the body of a naked Eddie with a wound in his shoulder right where the raven was shot. So she gets the truth out of Max and Dustin about the curse that binds them together but keeps them apart. At night Eddie is a human and Stephan a wolf, and during the day, Stephan is a human and Eddie the raven. Never can they see each other.

Robin is upset. That's horrible.

But the Party has a plan. They just have to get Stephan to agree to it.

Come morning the bird is fully healed and they set off again, Max and Dustin following behind. Stephan refuses to listen to their plan and insists his going to kill the Bishop will break the curse.

The bishop is tired of waiting and sends out a wolf hunter, Yuri to kill Stephan.

There is a harrowing moment that night when poor Eddie and Robin think Stephan has been caught in one of these traps, but thanks to the quick thinking of Max and Robin they kill the hunter in one of his own traps.

But it's too close for comfort. They need to end this and fast.

They travel all day, getting nearer to the city once again. When they camp at night, it's near a frozen lake that they had skirted that morning.

Only when the wolf attempts to cross it, he falls in. And with everyone's help and the big ass sword, Robin manages to save the wolf.

In the morning before the sun fully comes over the horizon, Robin makes a lean-to casting Eddie in shadow long enough for Stephan to be human long enough to see Eddie before he fully transforms into a bird.

Robin tells Stephan that she lost the sword in the lake and Stephan in his anger pushes her. She lands on the ground and he sees the great big gouges from where the wolf had scratched her helping him out of the lake.

He apologies and hugs her.

They make it to the town and Max insists that if Stephan waits until the eclipse to kill the Bishop the curse will be broke for sure. But Stephan can't trust her. Tells her to kill Eddie if he fails. If the bells ring, he's failed.

He goes in and with a sword he takes off a soldier he kills attacks Mass.

He kills Tommy but before he can kill the Bishop, one of the guards manage to ring the bell just as the eclipse starts. Stephan is gutted.

But before he can kill himself, Eddie comes running in human.

The Bishop is pissed and tries to kill Eddie with his staff, but Robin slides Stephan's sword to him and he kills the Bishop, ending the curse for good.

*cradles your face in my hands* Do you, you see the vision? Can you? Because I can.

Tommy Oliver: I think he leans in pretty hard on the 'Sir' rather than daddy...unless he's drunk.

Matt Cook: Very much both, especially when he's ABSOLUTELY the bottom.

How I see Prince and Paladin byler is kind of dark ngl-

let me share my idea.

This takes place in 1700s in my idea just so you know!

Mike is a poor orphan who is 17-18 and needs to find a job so he tried to get one at the castle to be a person paladin to the Prince. Prince is a sassy, snotty teen, most of his personal paladins have quit because of his snottiness. The Queen decides to hire someone more of his age to maybe help. (The Queen is not Joyce just so you know, and Will doesn’t have any siblings in my version of the au as well.) Prince Will just has him and the Queen until Sir Micael the Paladin shows up. He becomes a live-in-paladin.

The Prince isn’t all that nice to the paladin at first, but the paladin needs his job so he decides to suck it up. Until one day he finally decides to talk to the Prince since he’s going to have to stay w/ him until he can be “trusted”. The Prince agrees to this. They start hanging out in the grand garden of the palace. Mike would put frogs on Will’s shoulder and tame it to stay there (he was kind of a frog whisperer). Mike loved all animals, he would tell Will that it was his duty to love anything and everything. Mike would spend some of his time after dinner in the library in the castle as a way to get tired. Mike and Will spend days together talking in the garden and around the house. Until one day Mike decides maybe they should go out to his village and where he learned to be a paladin.

Mike takes Will to the village they have a ball. They even sword fight each other (in a playful all-fun-n-games way.). Mike and Will get back and the Queen isn’t home. Mike asks Will about his knack for painting and goes up to the art room to look at it. Later on after looking Mike gives into his urge of kissing the Prince.

Mike panics after word, but Will calms him down by kissing him back. They end up laying in bed together after a make out. Mike then feels a rush of pain/guilt.

“What if they catch us?”

“They won’t.”

“But, what if they 𝘥𝘰”

Will thinks Mike is silly for thinking that some servants would budge in on their business and watch them, but Mike wasn’t lying. He was terrified. He didn’t want Will to die.

“I would take the blame for you.”

“No, Mike, we are in this together.”

“Be honest Will! If they do find out, who will end up getting burnt?”

“I…”

“If a Queen ant and a regular worker ant do something wrong together, which ant will pay the sacrifices Will?”

“Maybe this was a mistake then…”

Mike leaves Wills room at the verge of tears. Choking up so much, he just hopes Will doesn’t see him.

“Yeah, maybe your right.”

The queen returns and Will and Mike have to go down to have dinner w/ her. They have to act as if nothing happened. They didn’t want to be… “disgusting”. After dinner like goes into his room and sobs. He couldn’t take the pain, he 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 Prince Will, but he couldn’t 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 Prince Will.

A day later the queen calls Mike down to talk to him. Mike had a feeling he knew what was going to happen. The Prince was clueless to this all, but its not like the Prince wasn’t in pain. He didn’t want to marry a girl…

“You disgusting swine! How dare you poison my son into that with your- with your 𝘞𝘐𝘛𝘊𝘏 𝘊𝘙𝘈𝘍𝘛! You are being sentenced to be hung, tonight.”

Mike expected this 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘘𝘶𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭. Will found out about the hanging and was asked to come, of course he didn’t go he 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 Mike so much. He sobbed when he found out, he sobbed and sobbed and sobbed. Sir Michael the Paladin was dead the next day Will woke up. Will could never move on- he hears a knock at his door.

“Prince I was cleaning out Sir Michael’s room, I think this is for you, Your Highness.”

Will opens it and reads it

“Dear, Will, I don’t want you to cry about my death. I need you to move on, but moving on doesn’t mean forgetting about thou. Remember everything, the library, the art room, the village, the pond, the frogs, the talks, and especially 𝘮𝘦. Please, for the sake of your legacy and family marry a Princess and have a good life, William. No matter where I am, I will always be looking out for you and protecting you, my dearest William. I don’t regret anything, I would do it all over again if I could. I love you. - Love, Michael the Paladin.”
