Realized I haven’t posted in awhile (again), so here’s some designs for my au!

For the longest time, I'd sort of just passively accepted that I'd try on and off, but I'd never really get into painting, animating, comic-making, or game dev. I would just stick with cartooning and try to make the best of that. Then suddenly in just two months, I'm doing more with animating and painting than I ever thought I would. It's absolutely wild.

Now I am eyeballing comic-making really hard. You're next.

mid-canon design for Camembert btw. inspired by both the german Landsknecht of the renaissance era and the crusaders of the medieval era bc i liked the ribbon sleeves and also the marked tarp folded over and tied as a sort of tunic. idk if the tall leather boots are historic at all but theyre cool

who is brie?

brie is a cotl oc, specifically my lamb for the penitence gamemode. they exist in a sort of parallel timeline to my main cotl au. i made a chart for this but i literally cant find it anywhere and i apparently didnt post it so ive recreated it on my ipad for you:

simply put, brie is my evil lamb. they are a merciless and cruel cult leader who craves power above all else. they treat their followers as poorly as they can get away with because they enjoy it. in my mind theyre like one of those southern religious con artists. theres something very charming about them, and also very slimy. but i should note that in brie's timeline, the cleansing never fully took place. brie killed the bishops before all of the sheep could be slaughtered, because they took the crown before it was meant to be taken.

i call brie "half-god" because i feel like them winning the crown in a drunken game would mean that they dont really get all of the same powers that camembert has as the rightful owner. cam and the crown are friends; the crown speaks to them and sees them as an equal. brie has no idea that the crown is alive. it's just a tool to them. they're a god in most of the ways that matter, but they still need to eat and sleep just like mortals do. but the biggest difference between them i would say is the way they see their lives and their godhood which is best summed up by this message i sent in my oc channel in march

My return to ACOLL posting!

Hello there everyone, and welcome back to...well, it says so on the tin! For those unaware, I've been off Tumblr for a little while now, mostly to focus on writing and updating my biggest Miraculous fic to date! A Case of Ladybug Luck! Now, now, I know what you're gonna say. "I have no idea what you're talking about", so allow me to enlighten you! Have you ever wanted a fake death AU inspired by Nine Lives and Cut My Life to Pieces? Welp you've got it here! And yes I am shamelessly self-promoting instead of ranting, but I genuinely love how this AU is turning out and want to share with everybody! So...do you guys like angst? Becuse I do! And I like character drama too! So please, follow me to the fic where Marinette f*cking dies (allegedly), Adrien is a bigger furry than half of canon, Chloe gets a more realistic character arc, Lila is a psychopath, and everybody needs a therapist!

It is...uh, worth mentioning that this AU is...over 283,000 words long and...we're only half done. And yes, the reason I'm posting is because I want to rant about it! Expect snippets, discussions (anon asks are open btw) and also ranting about characters! Seriously the amount of psychoanalisis Gabriel has been through in this fic is downright criminal. For me. Because I have research to do! Listen the point is that I have twenty seven pages of character analysis notes in my drafts and those have to go *somewhere!*

In conclusion, I plan to rant about this AU. A lot. So if you could do me a favor and check it out at least to see if it's your cup of tea, I'd be really happy! Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go and frantically look for my most recent notes on Eminath! For- unrelated reasons! I'll see you all soon, but until then, Stay Miraculous!

I've known about the recent developments, and honestly no matter what, I really. don't feel comfortable returning to the TMC community, at least not any time soon.

Honestly the entire situation is just very stressful for me to even think about, so I'd rather just. stay where I am currently rather than return to that series.
