Do you ever stop to think that Bobby’s one unwavering feature is his force of will? Even as a child, broken and afraid, he’d take care of his alcoholic father. He would patch himself up and cook, and smile, and call in sick for him, because in his eyes, his dad needed him more than he needed his dad. And when the apt building caught on fire, he braved the flames anyway, attempting to lift himself up a floor with his bare hands under the collapsed debris, bc the fire burned brighter in his heart than it did around him. He carried Amir like dead weight despite being on the brink of exhaustion, and never even made a sound. He was willing to fight off the cartel if he had to, we all saw that. This man managed to stay sober time and again, every time he’d fall or be pushed, bc no matter the pain and how bad the coming down was, his family was always more important. Bobby Nash is the personification of resilience and no one can tell me otherwise.

Buck asking how Bobby knows that Tommy is a good guy for Buck and why he hasn’t talked about it.
Bobby with no hesitation saying it’s because there isn’t anything to talk about because Buck is happy and free.
