friday night plans go hard (it's just this)

Sirius eyed the sliver of bare stomach hovering above her. She could hear Remus and Jamie conferring above her head, someone’s hand resting on her wrist. Not tight enough. Not interesting enough. She stared at the happy trail taunting her, the light brown hair nearly fading into the pale skin dotted with a few stray freckles. After a deep breath, she licked her lips, lifted her head up, and bit.  Her teeth landed just below and to the left of Remus’ belly button, and she managed a good few seconds of digging her teeth in before Remus was shoving at her forehead. Her tongue darted out to lap at the skin before letting her head fall back.  “Alright,” Remus snapped, swinging her leg over and sliding off the bed. “That’s enough.” She marched over the pile of clothes that Sirius had abandoned in the middle of the floor earlier and snatched up the panties she’d been wearing. Sirius managed one more deep breath, and then Remus was back, pressing fingers into her jaw, forcing her mouth open, and shoving the wadded up fabric in her mouth. “You can speak when we’re done.”

HUGE probs to cc!forever btw i thought he added the furniture thing as a joke option to like- legitimately get under q!bad's skin to give cc!bad an excuse to give his cubito more problems. but no apparently his chat were just instigators and made that suggestion to him 😭

i'm so impressed by how he got blindsided by a Full Lore Mode angry q!bad and kept his cool, and worked to communicate, and admitted when qbad had a good idea about the voting (qbad could NEVER), and went and got Cellbit when he realized the language barrier was too much. absolute king shit over there. like here he is trying to legit make the server better on a meta level and gets blindsided by q!bad's lore problems and he rolled with it so so well. he's doing legit such a good job for the server

and this is like- me being a bad fan, and i know it was an accident, but im very grateful to him for how that shook out. every time bad starts to get a little lore moment or something dramatic for his storyline, it fizzles out or gets overtaken by something else. cc!bad has been doing a great job with his storytelling/roleplaying and building up a narrative of feeling unappreciated/like a helping object instead of a person (and i could GUSH about the parallels between qbad and qforever and how they recognized those feelings in each other) but!! the point is that cc!forever did it. even accidentally. he created a catalyst event that could finally get my favourite little cubito off of his rocker (FINALLY), and bad is a good person to get off of his rocker. this is going to be a gorgeous little storyline that i am going to enjoy so so much. forever wanted to do good for the server and the story and by god he has done it

one of my professors' tests drive me fucking crazy bc they arent fair at all and nobody is doing well in the class (despite him grading on a curve which is apparently supposed to be a good thing? i guess? i mean it got me like, 12 or 16 extra points on the first test so im not complaining i just dont get how it works) and im like actually going to be so upset if this ruins my Plan to get on the dean's list for the bit. like i'll be genuinely so upset. And one of the girls in my class is a super smart polisci major transferring to an ivy league next year and she's thinking of withdrawing bc she might lose her scholarship if she does badly in this class. And what i mean by the tests being unfair is like. one of the questions on the last test was "where is [whatever building] located?" with 6 different towns as options as well as "none of these" and "other:" with a space to write. so i wrote down "there is no building" in the other spot, and my friend circled none of these, because it isnt in any of these, because there isnt a building at all. and our professor marked him wrong Despite being completely correct Bc he was looking for us to write in that there wasnt one. And another question was like. "which two positions [whatever, i dont fucking remember]" and had places to write in a) and b). and almost nobody got that one right bc THERE'S ONLY ONE POSITION THAT COULD [WHATEVER] AND HE MADE THE QUESTION LIKE THAT ON PURPOSE TO TRIP PEOPLE UP. just doesnt seem like a fair way to assess student's learning at all when u have to read the whole test like, "ok what does he specifically want"-- ANOTHER EXAMPLE, my friend and i both got one wrong bc the question was "what does [latin phrase] mean" and we wrote in what it means as in, like, if we heard the words in a court case, this is what it would mean. but he was looking for the Literal Latin-To-English Translation and marked us both wrong. even though we knew what it meant if it was used in a sentence.and just not the literal word for word translation. because why would we need to know that.

November is here, and it brings with it a fresh coat of grief.

I honestly don’t have a lot i can say. It looks like tough times are on the horizon, and i know more people than just me are probably justifiably scared. I hope we can all take some comfort in our little community here & support each other even as things start to look bleak. I think one of the most radical things we do here is loving ourselves and shaping our own futures. Keep doing that. And stay safe.

I don’t want this post to just be about the election though. Despite everything, good things do happen. Me, I got promoted at work, and I’m on track to have a car in my name by the end of the month. I have things I’m looking forward to, and people I love to think about. And today, I’m going to go get myself a milkshake, because bad news calls for a little sweetness to help wash it down 💜
