Another Clone Danny x batfam au, Danny was also full dead before he's shoved into a clone body, but it's not really relevant in this part.

Danny isn't a hundred percent sure how he got here. Last thing he remembered was running away from the GIW and his parents. They got a lucky shot on him, and he was losing ectoplasum fast. He's pretty sure he was about to fully End. He remembers being mildly amused over his parents' inventions killing him twice, before it all goes dark.

He woke up as a baby. A clone baby by the looks of his environment, an underground lab(?). His creator(?) is staring at him as if he's a miracle, and given the fancy sci-fi screen thingy (a tablet? Or ipad? He's not sure how he knows these terms) in front of the cloning tank say "attempt 99", he probably is this guy's miracle.

Danny doesn't see anyone else around, and this guy, a teenager about Jazz's age (?), seems happy on a personal level to see Danny wiggling in the tank. So it's not likely he was forced to do this. Whatever this is..

"I did it...? Holy shit! I did it!" The teen cheers before freezing, "I'm a parent now.. I did not think this through... welp, I'm a parent now."

The guy checks his vitals before draining the tank. Danny is handled as if he's the most precious, yet breakable thing in the world to this kid.

"Hello, I'm Tim, your dad, I guess." The kid, Tim, introduces himself, and Danny giggles at him because if Danny was a normal baby, he'd have no idea what he was saying. "You're the clone of my dead best friend. He was half kryptonian. I promise to do my best to help you learn your powers and culture. I'll break into Clark's ice fortress if I have to to do it."

Danny has no idea what any of that means, but Tim seems determined, so Danny isn't too worried. He's more worried about the power thing. Are they going to be completely different from his old ones? Does he still have access to his ghost powers?

His little baby body can't handle his big emotions, and he starts crying. Tim panics, checking for mess, before realizing he doesn't have baby supplies. He clearly didn't think his cloning attempt would work with how unprepared he is. And that's valid if Danny really is his 99th attempt.

Tim bundles Danny up and rushes them to the nearest store that has baby supplies. Danny is clothed and fed promptly and given a wolf plushy. Danny isn't sure about the wolf thing, but the stuffie does sooth his baby instincts, so he rolls with it.

"Alright, baby. I... I didn't think of a name for you. I originally was trying to make a clone closer to Kon's age and figured they could name themselves, like Kon did." Tim sighs, slightly rocking Danny in his arms. "Man, I must seem insane talking to a baby. A baby I made because I couldn't deal with one more person in my life being dead or gone."

Danny notes the interesting wording.

"Okay. Can you understand me at all? I forgot to adjust the knowledge download to a year old's level, but that doesn't mean your baby brain absorbed any of the info."

Ooooh, that explains why he knows things that didn't exist where he's from.

Danny blows spit bubbles and attempts to nod. It's a bit hard, his baby muscles not developed enough for the action. Tim understands, though.

"Okay, okay." Tim looking both scared and relieved. "How about you pat me once for yes and twice for no? At least for now. I don't want you to hurt yourself."

Danny lightly smacks a hand to Tim's face. They both giggle over it.

"Alright, so I'm going to list off names, and you can tell me yes or no, okay?" One pat. "Okay, let's see."

Danny wonders if he can get a new name that can still let him have Danny as a nickname.

"Jasper" No

"Darin" No

"Dugu" No??

"Presh?" No! Tim? Where are you getting these names??

"Ratan" No

"Cicil" No

"Matthew" No

"Theo?" No

"Alihan" No

"Atiya" Nope

"Tesher" No

"Senai" No

"Uuum... Habwat?" No

"Geoffrey" No

"Amari?" Nope

"Jordan" ... huh, technically could get Danny from that, but still. No.

"Riley?" No

"Drew?" Nope

"Nova" Oooo so tempting, but no

"Aedan?" You know what, good enough. That's Danny's new name.

Tim looks misty eyed when Danny finally agrees to a name.

"Alright, welcome to the world, Aedan Drake." Danny blows bubbles at him. "We'll visit adding Kent and getting you a proper kryptonian name when you can actually speak and understand what those names mean. Kon's human name was Conner Kent, and his kryptonian name was Kon-El. It translates to abomination of the house of El. He was a clone of Kal-El and wasn't treated well for it. I won't let the Els treat you as they treated him."

Tim looks pissed on his friend's behalf and cradles Danny protectively.

"The Els don't matter anyways. You will always be a Drake. And Drakes protect what they claim with viciousness." He kisses Danny's forehead. He then moves to the fanciest computer Danny has ever seen, and with the hand not supporting Danny's body, starts designing what appears to be a bulletproof and stabproof baby carrier. "I should have waited til after I finish hunting for clues to get Bruce, he's my adoptive father, out of the timestream. My siblings think I'm crazy, which creating a clone isn't helping my case over, but I know he's alive. I found evidence, just not enough to prove it to them."

Danny starts nodding off. Tim's ramblings are soothing and his hold gentle, Danny's tiny baby body doesn't stand a chance at staying awake. He's sad he's missing out on all the dad lore because of it.

Once the carrier is ready, Tim starts going out and taking Danny with him. Danny is actually pretty safe on these outings. The carrier is bulletproof, stabproof, has tinted bulletproof glass so Danny can get sun without people seeing him, it's temperature controlled, well ventilated, and has plenty of cushion. Seriously, Danny is sure the whole thing is like 60 pounds with him in it, but Tim gives zero fucks. He's determined to keep Danny safe.

It's super touching. And Danny swears to one day return the favour. The day is closer than he thinks when a creepy old fucker crawls out of the woodworks. Danny hates him instantly. Tim explaining the creep's relation to Tim's family doesn't change Danny's mind. In fact, it probably makes his opinion on this Ra's Al Gul even worse. And once he sees how that pedo looks at his sweet new dad, he plans to be an absolute menace.

Ya know what would be a cool miraculous fic: if Gabriel figured out how to clone the Butterfly miraculous to give him the same powers that way he can keep being Hawkmoth even if he loses the original miraculous.

Then they give the original Butterfly miraculous to Zoe (Queen Bee/Chloe character development for the win! Suck it writers!) and Zoe has moments where she has to drop everything, transform, and send another butterfly to get to the akuma target for the day and just basically be a magic therapist. Hawkmoth hates her because she keeps calming down potential akuma targets through the butterfly mind telepathy so Gabriel has to go out of his way to just cause problems and hope Zoe doesn't get there first.

Also Chloe distracting akumas/Mayura so that Zoe can keep working without fighting for her life. Zoe also spoils the shit out of Nooroo because the little guy deserves it.

What superhero name do you think Zoe would have? I've seen aus where Marinette has the butterfly and is called Lady Fairy, Mariposa, Lady Butterfly, etc. but I'm not sure which best fits Zoe.

He needs a decoy. He swears that Ladybug has been onto his identity lately and he needs to throw someone else under the bus. Someone Ladybug would suspect, someone who would make sense. Chloe Bourgeois? No, she’s been the victim of too many akuma attacks. Her new little sister, however…

I think Zoe would be chosen because he would assume that she’d be just like Chloe, only a little younger. He would be counting on her to recklessly akumatize anyone and everyone she could, and lead Ladybug straight to her in the process

No one questions why the new girl wears a brooch

Everyone starts asking questions when a new butterfly shows up, calming people down from panic attacks, giving them the power to get their cat out of a tree, giving a woman the power to fly so she can make it on time to her court appointment, etc

I like the Chloe helping idea!! Especially since she’d absolutely notice if her new sister was suddenly wearing a brooch.

Chloe interrogates her about it and when Zoe is hella sketch, Chloe starts digging deeper (w/ Sabrina ofc) and discovers that she’s the new butterfly

Chloe decides to help her out, but doesn’t want her to know it was her (she’s got a reputation to uphold!) so she gets a Stealth Queen Bee suit and becomes a Hawkmoth defeating task force

I think Nooroo would be split between them (since I split the miraculous here) and would be torn back and forth. Zoe and Nino would bond over their bestie’s shitty dads (Zoe needed to vent to somebody, and she needed to demagicify it first)

They can only transform when they have Nooroo, and both try to do everything they can to keep him (Zoe by giving Nooroo lots of snacks and love to try to signal to the miraculous that this is the better place for him, and Gabe by trying to make kwami traps that Nooroo can’t escape out of)

(deaging/time-travel, 3 works, one at 3 chapters, one at 13, and one at 45/47 I'm in awe)

the life and what comes after verse by @kingofattolia I read this years ago but I still think about it and the Mace characterisation - at some point he says something that literally made me lie down on the floor and go. ok this one healed me a little bit. amnesia trope but make it intricate. (3 works, one at 19 chapters, one at 7/?, and a oneshot, gen)

Rexsoka Week 2021 Day 6: Truth or Dare

A little lighter than the last couple of days.

Note: Takes place in an AU where Ahsoka is promoted to the leader of the 501st and the war is prolonged. No idea where Anakin is lol.

Day 6: Truth or Dare

"Truth or dare?"

Rex rolled his eyes for the fifth time that hour. They'd been waiting for evac for over 4 hours. Night was falling. Waiting for evac meant bored clones, and bored clones meant stupid games. It did not help that General Tano encouraged them.

"Truth." Fives said confidently.

"How many times have you had to see Kix for chafing?" Jesse asked.

There was a chorus of 'oooohs' and laughter.

"And don't try lying." Kix said. "I keep very good records."

Rex glanced up from his datapad. Fives had five other clones plus the General leering at him. He looked like he was sweating laser blasts. Rex shook his head and returned to his work.

Fives mumbled something.

"What was that?" Ahsoka said with glee.

"Sixteen!" Fives said louder.

The group burst into hysterics. Rex cracked a smile. For the past hour Jesse and Fives had continually targeted each other in some sort of embarrassment contest. No one else had had a chance to go, but nobody seemed to mind.

"General!" Fives said. "Truth or dare?"

Rex raised an eyebrow. The contest was apparently over.

"Truth." Ahsoka said.

"Who's the most attractive clone?"

"Dare." Ahsoka amended.

"I dare you to kiss the most attractive clone here."

"Let's go back to truth." Ahsoka said.

"No, you didn't let me switch back earlier, you're stuck!" Kix said.

"Ugh." Ahsoka said. "Fine. Let's take a look."

There was the sound of her getting to her feet and then soft footsteps.

Rex glanced up again. Ahsoka was pacing around the circle of clones. They all looked up at her with eager faces. For a moment Rex stared at her. The way her lekku swayed as she walked mesmerized him. Her form was illuminated by the plasma lanturn they'd placed in the center of their circle.

"Hmm." Ahsoka said. "Which one, which one?"

"Oh, hurry up!" Jesse said.

Rex knew Ahsoka, while protesting it at first, was enjoying drawing this out.

Rex realized he'd been staring at her for a good minute and went back to his data pad, face heating.

Then suddenly something soft pressed against his cheek. There was a loud outcry from the group of clones as the pressure pulled away. Rex turned to see Ahsoka grinning at him, inches from his face.

Rex couldn't speak as the others, Fives especially, continued their protests. He could feel his face turning red as Ahsoka stared into his eyes for a moment more. Then she turned around and went back to the circle.

Rex watched her go. The men were still shouting and protesting.

"Are you kidding me? Rex?"

"It's the blonde hair, isn't it?"

"You just chose him cause he's captain!"

"You didn't tell me to explain myself." Ahsoka said as she sat down. "Kix, truth or dare."

"There is no way Rex is more attractive than we are." Kix said.

"Truth or dare, Kix."

Rex waited a moment for them to focus on Kix having to put his armor on backwards and then take it off. Then he reached up and touched the spot where her lips had touched his cheek. Was he imagining it, or was the skin still warm from the kiss?

Re; Star Trek AU, in some of the book series, there's actually diplomats assigned to ships that are gonna be going to unexplored sectors iirc! So Padme could work as the ships assigned Diplomat! And ooooh, would Kix and all the other clones still be clones? How would you work that with federation laws? *Is high-key fascinated by this idea*

I’m thinking, like, Khan-style experiments, but planet-wide, and someone wakes them all up by accident probably Anakin but since there’s no need for several million soldiers, all the clones just join the Federation, and a lot of them join Starfleet specifically.

Yayyayay there are others who are obsessed with crossovers in the glimmer fic universe!! (GFU). Have we done any with LRPD Anakin and Ben with any of the others? Considering that Obi-Wan is technically dead in that universe, the angst potential is off the charts! Is that too sad? Feel like Ben meeting some version of his predecessor could also be cute though.

Ooooh, you know, I don’t think that we have. I’ve been thinking about what universe they might cross over with. There’s a lot of dramatic potential for them crossing over with, say, the agaptfaa team, mostly because that Anakin would... probably kick LRPD!Anakin’s ass. (”You did WHAT,” he says, after hearing about the fall-out from Qui-Gon’s death, looking over at Cody, “and you only hit him ONE TIME?”)

I am, maybe, thinking about agaptfaa!Anakin just trying to hold all of the Obi-Wan clones, as in that one meme, crying because he can’t protect them all.

Does LRPD!Anakin feel weird, unpleasant feelings about seeing this other Anakin who (apparently) didn’t screw up as much around his Obi-Wan? PROBABLY. I definitely don’t think the Anakins get along well at first, in this instance, but they probably talk and tensions ease downward.

(....There’s something to think about re: age/role!Swap Anakin ending up there, hmmmm...)

I do think the type 2 clones would probably get some closure from talking to a living Obi-Wan. Perhaps Obi-Wan could even offer some help to Once, help him resolve some of the shattering of his mind/core. However, their first meeting would likely be pretty traumatic for Once (hey, look, it’s the guy who General Jinn tried to force you into being).

And I love the idea of Obi-Wan and Ben just sitting together and talking, Obi-Wan giving Ben some advice and just... encouraging any of his clones that they’ve done an amazing job, that they weren’t lesser than he was. 

Ben probably doesn’t know how much he needed to hear that he wasn’t a poor copy, directly from the source, until Obi-Wan says it. And it’s comforting for Obi-Wan, too, to be able to tell a younger version of himself that it wasn’t all his fault that things fell apart. It eases a knot inside of him that’s been there a long, long time.

(And maybe older!Obi-Wan reads Force Ghost Qui-Gon the riot act, who knows).

I HAD AN ADDITIONAL ASK RE: UNIVERSE HOPPING. Alas, tumblr ate it the first time I tried to write this out, when the whole thing decided not to work after my careful copy and pasting. SO, anon who wanted to know if the mirror!au ended up crossing with the agaptfaa!au again... I feel like, maybe? But not for a very long time. 

And when it does it’s, perhaps, the twins crossing over and meeting their versions on the other side, who don’t look quite the same (having, you know, different parents) and getting a look at darker versions of themselves. What I’m saying is.... Empress Leia succeeding her adopted father to the throne?

Which era do you find most compelling?  It’s gotta be the Prequel Trilogy for me.  It’s got Obi Wan and Anakin in it and all of the other characters that I love and ugh, I just adore how Lucas wrote Anakin’s tragedy in three acts and it was beautiful (TCW made it even better) and I’ll always love the artful and creative and heartbreaking story and its political commentary and pretty actors and amazing saber duels and EVERYTHING BLARGH, idc what other ppl say, it’s the best

Whose wardrobe would you steal?  Idk what other answer there could possibly be besides Padmé Amidala, every outfit she wears in the movies is stunning and if I could have even one of her pretty dresses I’d wear it every day for the rest of my life (I am not including her TCW outfits, out of all of them I think they designed like one non movies-based one where I didn’t find something about it I didn’t like, I am disappointed in them -_- )

That being said, I’ve made it known that I despise with my entire being the fanon-turned-possibly-canon about Anakin not being a Force Baby and was actually just a Dark Side creation made by Plagueis and Sidious

I really don’t like it when people headcanon Anakin and Obi Wan as having this cold, uncaring, cruel relationship between them and put other side characters as being closer with them than each other canonically are

This is silly, but I get ridiculously worked up over that popular Tumblr post going around about “Oh Leia is OBVIOUSLY a Slytherin” and I’m just stomping my feet because are you kidding me???  She’s the Gryffindor-iest Gryffindor there is!!!!  Star Wars has Slytherin heroes, but Leia isn’t one of them.

What’s your favorite fan art/work? (bonus: reblog and tag the creator if you can) Ooooh there’s so many good SW fanart and works, how could I possibly chose one?  It’s flat out impossible for me to choose a favorite, per say, but I guess I can say two works that were instrumental in getting me back into the Star Wars fandom were: 

The World Undone by @writegowrite (lilyconrad on ao3), that fic got me full on into the prequels as well as convinced me to start writing fanfic again, it’s an AU Obikin fic with some of the most gorgeous writing I’ve ever read (all their works are superb 10/10 recommend)

No specific work in particular, but all of the Rebels comics and art pieces done by @lotldraws, Rebels was my first forage back into SW land and I found their art fast and it’s just some of the funniest, charming stuff, it really makes you love the Space Family and I still look back on their art when I need a smile!

Most interesting force power?  Hmmm that one’s tough!  I honestly gotta go with being able to manifest as a Force Ghost, since there’s just so much we don’t know about it and it’s really freaking cool

If you could swap places with any character for a day, who would you swap with?  That’s not fair, everyone in Star Wars has an awful life xD  I guess I’d say Anakin?  Pre-Vader of course, so then I could legit go up to the Council and be all “hey fun story so Palpatine’s a Sith Lord and the clones all have murder chips in their heads, have fun taking care of that I’m just gonna be off far away from here so I can’t get corrupted ok bye!” and then I guess I’d like lock him in somewhere he couldn’t escape if they failed to take care of Palpy in a day

Who would be your best friend?  My prequel faves are all intimidating as hell, so I’d probably say Luke!  I think if I met him on Tatooine we’d end up getting along pretty nicely!

Funniest moment in Star Wars:  All of it???  I’m sorry, I’m a loser and if I’m not crying over Star Wars for being so sad, I’m cracking up over it because all of the main characters are ridiculous drama queens and their antics amuse me endlessly

Saddest moment in Star Wars:  Revenge of the Sith from the moment Order 66 is executed (oof TCW is gonna make it hurt so much worse) till the end of the movie, Mustafar hitting the hardest Anakin why?!?!?!?

If you could make one thing from the Star Wars universe real, what would it be?  Look, I understand that the world already has enough issues with dangerous weapons in the hands of those who don’t need them and shouldn’t have them, and I also know that I would have zero reason to actually use one, but god DAMN IT I WANT A LIGHTSABER xD

my initial concept was that Danny dies in some kind of terrible accident, so they reconstructed his body, regrowing the missing parts in the lab and stitching them back onto him (this detail is 100% purely for the Frankenstein Monster aesthetic)

they experiment with using the mutative powers of ectoplasm to heal the body despite it being very dead and at the beginning stages of decomposition, it works like a charm, however the brain turns out to be far too complicated and even though the ectoplasm is able to keep his body functioning physically (because sci-fi magic I'm not a biologist so I'm pulling this bs out my ass) he's practically a vegetable

even if they can get the brain at least partially functioning again, souls are a known and proven to exist thing in this universe (as they go on to create ghosts) so maybe even if they COULD get his brain 100% functional, maybe he would still be a vegetable because he's completely souless

the Fentons realise this, and come up with their Prosthetic Soul idea

in this au Danny was never Phantom, in fact maybe his death was from that accident but he actually just straight up died instead of becoming half ghost

ooooh also I just had a wickedly awful thought

what if the way they regrew Danny's limbs was by cloning him... and the clone had to be imbued with ectoplasm in order for the limbs to be compatible with the body

and they treat the clone like a disposable item, purposely avoiding feeding any potential poltergeist that might form, they plan to dispose of it before that can happen

they could easily just use this body as the replacement Danny instead of reconstructing a badly damaged corpse, but the Fentons have some wildly contradictory feelings about completely replacing his body, despite being more than happy to replace his soul

and y'all can probably see where I'm going with this, the spare parts body becomes Danielle, who at some point does in fact grow a consciousness, far quicker than the Fentons expected her to, and she ends up escaping before they have a chance to destroy her

she's missing limbs and organs and barely has a mind of her own, but she has self preservation instincts and manages to brute force her body into working for her by overpowering it with her ghost energy

this is exactly something the Fentons want to avoid in their experiment with Danny, and the reason they went to such lengths to rebuild him, they want the ghost influence to be as minimal as possible, and if they can curb those self preservation instincts by having a good functioning body, it won't need to spread its ghostly influence any further than filling the void of the mind

Danielle is considered to be some kind of amalgamated monster because her body is falling apart and she is actively replacing her missing limbs with ectoplasmic reconstructions

the Fentons avoided imprinting any memories or emotions onto her, so the only thing they were thinking about when with her was the limbs they were cutting off or the organs they were removing, so she becomes obsessed with regrowing those

perhaps even to an eldritch horror point of growing too many if we wanna go down that road

more places we can go with this is the New Danny becoming more ghostly than his parents intended, forming his Phantom side when scared or angry, the Fentons probably don't like this and try to fix it, but ultimately only make it worse

or maybe he stays mostly human, he is the perfect son, in every way because he has only been fed the good memories and the good times

and then maybe Danny's ghost shows up, only to find that his parents have not only experimented on his corpse, but also replaced him like he was just some toy they broke

Jazz would be absolutely horrified with this entire scheme, but unable to stop her parents, she has to just deal with living with this replacement brother

Jack and Maddie actually have to keep Jazz away from his as much as possible because her influence can ruin the imprinting process, they want him to believe he is Danny and her inability to believe that would ruin everything

yeah I just watched a Frankenstein movie and I got hit by an idea for an AU

Jack and Maddie harness ectoplasm and the process with which poltergeists develop as a way to bring life back to a braindead body

poltergeists form thoughts and emotions and personalities based on the emotional energy of their surroundings

so they reconstruct a dead body, get the heart and lungs pumping, then imbue it with purified ectoplasm and grow their own poltergeist by feeding it their love and their memories of the person whose body it's inhabiting, the poltergeist will gradually take on the personality traits of the person based on the memories being projected onto them by the family, and once strong enough it will be able to keep the body functioning after its taken off life support

they call it a Prosthetic Soul

eventually if it's treated completely like it has always been this person, it will begin to think it is that person, and the family will essentially have a near perfect copy of their lost family member, but it will base its existence entirely off the memories other people have of that person rather than the person themselves so there's room for some heinous ethical, moral and logistical issues with this process

           "Hey Paps who’s the new kiddo?“ 

Everyone just stared at one another. Each switching their gaze between two of the others. Papyrus broke all three of their trances.

“UHHH SANS IS THIS A JOKE?“ 

”nope”

“DID YOU MAKE A SLIGHTLY SMALLER CLONE OF YOURSELF?”

“nope" 

“ARE ALL YOU GOING TO SAY IS ‘NOPE’ ?”

The sans being hugged to Papyrus’ chest, twitched at the familiarity of the conversation. It was just like the ones he sometimes had with his own brother.

“nope" 

”SANS YOU ARE UNBELIEVABLE, SIGH, NOW STRANGE MONSTER WHO LOOKS LIKE A SMALLER VERSION OF MY BROTHER, WHO MUST YOU BE?“ 

Both of the Sans stared at each other for a second. ” Um bro maybe-“

” I AM THE MAGNIFICENT SANS!!“

“BUT YOU BOTH SIMPLY CANNOT BE SANS!”

“bro how bout we just call him-”

“ I DUB THEE SANS THE SECOND!!“ 

 The Sans in the blue hoodie held in his laughter but couldn’t contain it all. ” br-bro ha ha just call ‘im blue it’s a whole lot less confusin’ for me and the kid”

“ PERFECT BROTHER! NOW NEW MONSTER- ” A piano ring tone went off and Papyrus shifted to hold, the now named Blue, with one arm, to look at his phone.

“ PHOOEY NEW FRIEND YOU MUST STAY HERE WITH MY BROTHER MUCH TO MY DISPLEASURE, I HAVE JUST GOTTEN A MESSAGE FROM THE CAPTAIN TO DELIVER A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE FOR HER!” Setting Blue down Papyrus began to run farther down the main trail. Everything was now still.

“ Sooo kid… you been pretty silent, you good?“ 

Silence was his only answer. 

” Uh… so kid how’s stretch doin, last i heard you guys were doin pretty well with the kid.“ 

“WHO IS STRETCH?” ‘Blue’ was now interested. 

“ Yea know, the guy you live with, always wearin that orange pull over hoodie, pretty humerus guy heh" 

” OOOOH MY PAPYRUS! HE’S BEEN GONE AWHILE.“ Blue smiled. 

”He around here? Doesn’t seem the kinda guy to leave you alone for long. ‘specially in another time line. How’d you guys get here anyway, thought your machine was still broken.“

Blue held his chin in his hand in thought. ” HMMM I’M NOT REALLY SURE… HM I GUESS I JUSTJUSTJUST APPEARED" 

“ You okay their kid? Haven’t really heard you stutter like that before.. uh lets just go to the shed and see if we can find your bro" Sans put a hand on Blue’s shoulder, making the latter flinch. Sans didn’t say anything about it. ” I know a shortcut" 

The two of them appeared behind a house that looked exactly like the one ‘Blue’ used to live in. Now behind the house was a wooden shed, ‘Blue’ never noticed. Sans pulled out a key and procided to unlock the shed. 

“ Common kid, your bro must be gettin pretty rattled" 

Blue began to shake in silent laughter. ” Heh kid knew you had a funny bone, you sure you okay there? You’ve never been this quiet before, or ever not annoyed by puns at least from the few times you guys visited”  Sans began to walk in and headed to a big machine. ‘Blue’ stared at Sans’ back for a few seconds with a blank face. Sans began to get a bad feeling going down his spine. “ Shit… it’s going to be one of those runs isn’t it? … let’s get you outta here before the other kiddo leaves the ruins.“ 

” I COULD HELP" 

Before Sans could respond the machine he was fiddling with began to glow and displayed a screen. “ Sup” On the screen was a Papyrus. HIS Papyrus, orange hoodie and all. “ Eehy Stretch you sans a bro?“  There was silence for a few seconds. “Welp can’t say I am, bro’s at Alphys’ training, just got a text from him. How come?” A dark chuckling began to fill the small room. “ HeheHE THETHETHE MACHINE WORKS HERE! I GAVE UP ON MINE A LOOOONGLONGLONG TIME AGO” ‘Blue’ began to claw around his eye sockets. 

“ Hey uh kid you know where your bro is.. or what time line you from? Or even someone you know.. kid shit. Calm down!“ 

”Everything okay over there?!“ The Papyrus on screen looked worried. ” Sans bring him over here.“ 

Sans ushered ‘Blue’ to the front of the screen. "Hey uh, Sans calm down there bud um, that guy there he’s gonna help you get home okay?” 'Blue stopped the clawing and calmed. He then began to mumble. 

“What?”

“What was that kid?" 

” BUTBUTBUT I JUST ESCAPED”

“Kid what about your bro he must be worried”

“HE’S GONE”

“What do you mean gone?” The screen Papyrus asked.

“DEAD FORFORFOR A LONG TIME”

Everyone quited down. The room began to feel heavy. 

“… There anyone else?”

“NO I HELPED EVERYONE ELSE”

The Sans and screen Papyrus stiffened.

“ What do you mean 'Helped’ ?“
