Tumblr media
Her time in his world felt like a dream, an existence between realities that had no beginning or end—and, Zelda supposed, that was precisely what his world was. A liminal space that interlocked thresholds never meant to meet.
They were never meant to meet. Yet they had, and as only a companion from a dream could do, her Prince became Her Prince in such a short amount of time—or had it been months? Years? How much time had passed?
Did it matter?
“You remind me of a cloud,” she told him one evening (or was it day?) as they rested near a stream, water slipping over rocks in a gentle babble. “It seems that no matter how long we spend together, there is forever a new shape to you that I had not seen before.”

And she had no fear
There are many reasons why I love (Don't Fear) The Reaper, and none of them have to do with being a legend. Chasing glory will never get you far.
Friends get you far. Love does.
Most of those reasons have to do with how I roleplay my V and what makes more sense for her to choose at the end of it all. She knows that Panam would ride to hell and back with her, same as Rogue would for Johnny, but she'd rather not let anybody else die in her wake. A further reason (a bigger one) is that V doesn't want to surrender her body to Johnny for what could be her final hours. After all they've been through, however, she doesn't want to spend them without him either. They've been through hell and high water together. She had taken his hand, she had become like they are.
CDPR gave us many opportunities to bond with Johnny throughout the game, be it through casual (or not-so-casual) dialogue or by giving him closure with some of his friends and ex-lovers. None of that is enough to unlock this ending, though, and in my opinion that's one small, brilliant detail (among many) in how Johnny was written.
You see, this man had his own way with people for a long, long time. And when they realized what brand of asshole he was, they turned their back on him--which, hey, fair. Now there's this merc he screws over just as he did everybody else who cared about him, and she rightly gives him shit for it. V knows him better than anybody else at this point (Johnny is a literal witness to that knowledge), and yet, she finds it in her to give him another chance. The last one, sure. But nobody had done that before, knowing what she knows.
It's no wonder that the ending in which he trusts V enough to storm Arasaka tower with him, on their lonesome, is only possible when V shows Johnny she trusts him enough not to blow his last chance at friendship.
So yeah, there are a lot of reasons why I absolutely love this ending, and most of them are sappy. Sorry, this was meant to be a funny one. Let's get on with it: Did you know that the Arasaka guards at the HQ will get more scared the longer you fight hordes and hordes of them without going down? I've compiled most, if not all, of them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They're fairly confident in the lobby. A random merc just strolled in like it was a supermarket, no biggy. Shit starts to get real when the random merc manages to make her way down to netrun operations control.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The sheer panic in their voice is conveyed even through text. Yelling about needing backup, covering fire--wondering how the fuck she's still standing against a building full of Arasaka soldiers. They're not just scared, they're bewildered.
By the time V reaches the tower's mainframe, they know they're not getting out of there alive. Some kind of demon has been unleashed in Arasaka HQ, and they're cannon fodder.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have to give it to CDPR: They wrote one hell of an end for V's story--both the meaningful trigger and the mission itself, full of little details that make it feel viscerally real. The relic eating away at what's left of V's body while she's still in it; Johnny's help and support, for the first time letting go of the snarky façade; tasting the fear of your enemies in their voice as you perform a feat never seen before. There's no going back if you flatline--it's an all in. You, and the tech that was designed to replace you, fighting side by side against impossible odds.
We all know there are no happy endings in Night City, and Cyberpunk 2077 is a tragedy in three acts. But I would be lying if I said that there is no happiness at all in some of the choices we make, the causes we fight for, or the ways in which we say goodbye.
All in all, I'd say this is a pretty good one.

Hello! I’m sorry if you’ve answered this already, but do you have any recs (or anything you want to say for fun) about games with multiple GMs?
Theme: Multiple GMs
Hello friend, I may have recommended games similar to this but I don't know if I've actually fulfilled this prompt before! I'll do my best to show you some interesting games, and you can check out previous posts at the bottom in case there's something there that fits your tastes more.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Questlandia: Second Edition, by Turtlebun.
In Questlandia, you and your friends will invent a world from scratch. It might be fantastic or bizarre, from a remembered past or imagined future. You’ll paint a picture of your society and its people, their laws and customs, how they live and how they dream.
But your society is failing. As you play, your characters will attempt to find beauty and purpose amidst the chaos of a changing world.
Questlandia is a tabletop roleplaying game that creates fantastical worlds in states of change. It may be medieval fantasy in a ghost-haunted kingdom, neo-noir in a roboticized undercity, or microscopic slipstream suburbia in a puddle. The possible settings are boundless, but will always come from the interests of those at the table. Bring in real-world themes that intrigue you, references that inspire you, worldbuilding that follows your curiosity.
Questlandia uses dice and cards to help you create a society, as well as your character’s role in that society. I think this is a good example of a game where every person is a character, but every player is also a GM. You’ll roll against each-other to determine whether or not your society will be able to overcome their troubles. Overall, I think Questlandia is great for telling a story that spans a number of factions or nations.
Pantheon, by harpoon_gun.
4-6 GMs, who are distant Gods with their own desires and needs, and up to 3 players, champions of the Gods who are being forced to do their chores. Take turns toying with the champions, screwing over the other Gods, and building relationships of both the positive and negative variety.
All I know about this game is what I can divine from the description, but I would hazard a guess that much of this gameplay is going to feel a little bit like PvP. The gods that your GMs are embodying will have conflicting goals and desires, so expect to run into a lot of backbiting and backstabbing. The game itself was designed for the Bad TTRPGS Jam, which encouraged designers to fuck around with rules and see where it got them. So no guarantees for a balanced game here - but maybe an interesting experiment!
Fool’s Errand, by Myles Wirth.
You are a group of questants, pledged to a seemingly-impossible task. You must set out alone into the world, each following your own path by which the quest might be fulfilled. They will be long and difficult journeys, with no guarantee of success.
Inspired by legends and travelogues, Fool's Errand is a single-page tabletop game about perseverance in the face of uncertainty and the joy of worldbuilding together. It is prepless, gm-less, setting-agnostic, and can be played on its own or as a setup or interlude for another game. Rather than flattening Player-GM distinctions entirely, it inverts the traditional balance of a ttrpg table; players take turns as "seekers", individual characters traversing the world in search of an impossible goal, while the rest of the table forms the "Chorus", building and refining the world around the seeker as they explore it.
Fools’ Errand asks you to make some travellers and give them a quest that they cannot achieve. The game occurs over a series of turns; on your turn you’ll control your Seeker and declare what you want to do. The rest of the table becomes the Chorus, and build the Location that Seeker is in. The Seeker may then attempt to convince the Chorus that the way in which they will attempt to solve the problem is something they would be good at; and then rolls 3d6. Your result may grant you a Boon or a Burden, which may draw you closer to or pull you farther from your character’s goal. Your characters also have a Resolve pool, which will diminish over the course of play.
I think success is still technically possible in this game, but it’s highly unlikely. What is more likely is that characters will slowly give up on their quest, and join the Chorus in telling the story of who remains.
Bleak Spirit, by potatocubed.
Bleak Spirit is a storytelling game where you and your friends create a brooding, cryptic tale about a stranger in a strange land. Everything is falling apart, crumbling, corrupted, and the wanderer carries the potential for a return to past glories – or the power to sweep away all that remains.
Everyone contributes to the tale, sharing the sense of mystery that comes from no-one knowing the entire truth of what's going on. Everyone takes turns being the world for a scene, introducing lore which hints at the history of the setting. After every scene everyone leaps to conclusions based on the lore which has been revealed – and these conclusions affect the sorts of lore they will introduce when it's their turn to be the world.
Bleak Spirit is meant to replicate the narrative beats of Dark Souls, Hollow Knight, and Bloodborne. It gives everyone at the table a chance to play the Wanderer, a chance to play the World - and a chance to sit as part of the Chorus. The game is very structured, which I think helps the table keep on track, since everyone is going to have a chance to contribute to the story. The Wanderer dictates the character’s actions, but never their internal thought or feelings. The World creates Areas and Locations that the Wanderer will visit. The Chorus will introduce themes, descriptions, and motifs that are meant to make the world full of grandeur, mystique and decay.
This is a game that you might be interested if you like melancholic tones, large gaps in historical knowledge, and collaborative world building. The creator has also created a Cat version of this game, called Cat Spirit!
Two Weeks One Summer, by Rick Cockram.
In Two Weeks One Summer the players take the role of a family visiting a rambling old house in the woods during a summer holiday. The game focusses on the activities of the children of the family as they explore the house, it's grounds and the surrounding woodland. It is a game about finding things to do, creating your own excitement and exploring an unfamiliar environment.
This game divides the participants into two roles: the Children and the Grown-Ups. Over the course of the game, each of these roles will contribute different things to the description of the house, and the events that happen as you stay here. I think this works well for a slice-of life game, but it also might be an interesting source of inspiration for telling stories that are more dramatic or fantastical.

The Ravening War: Raphaniel's Leviathan
Tumblr media
Raphaniel reminds me VERY much of a character I once made for the explicit purpose of roleplaying something I loathe. I said, what's a real life philosophy that would make sense in a d&d setting and that I hate? Ooh, I know, Hobbes in the context of the English Civil War. I'll play a champion of that then. But I won't make it a caricature, the point isn't to build a strawman and bash it (that's way too easy to be satisfying), I'll try my best to portray the character like a real person who genuinely believes all that. What would make someone believe that? And how would that someone behave, think, understand the world?
So I ended up playing a noble, a lawful evil Paladin of Tyranny (that was back in 3.5) wielding an executioner's greatsword named "Divine Right". And it was hard! I had to fight every instinct I had at every turn, it was a fucking struggle. (But interesting, illuminating, and rewarding, especially when she finally fucking died.)
Tumblr media
this is the future Raphaniel wants
So anyway, I might be biased, but I think Raphaniel is a Hobbesian figure too. In this episode he revealed some of his political vision for Calorum, in the 2-year downtime he spent scheming:
"I will share some of the most touching parables and epistles from the Book of Leaves that have to do with unity and the uniting of people. … The clans of the Meat Lands struggle and strife, and unity, my mind dwells on unity. We long for stories to share and for songs and prayers that can unite a disparate people. It is my hope that if there is any aid I could lend you that the Meat Lands might find a common song to sing."
"Sir Drunon, as of this most recent battle, has become something of a national hero. Vegetania doesn't need heroes. Heroes give people pride. Pride on the story of their homeland, where they are from, legends that make them stand tall. Pride is the opposite of humility and obeisance. […]
I wanna drive a spike into the proto-, like, into the thing that gets under Raphaniel's skin is this burgeoning Vegetanian nationalism. This idea of civic pride which Raphaniel finds loathsome. So I think that it's a spreading through church channels always ringing the bell of like, an end to war. An end to bloodshed. Basically painting the lords of this new ascendant, like, Vegetanian rebel court as like, we still have a monarch. It's still the Lady Amangeaux. This is a love of bloodshed, and this knight's just been murdered in a house of ill repute, and this was the person you called a hero of the battle? And spreading through that area as well this idea of "had you knelt your head to the laws of the church and saw fit to include the Lady Amangeaux, we would not have returned an incredibly beloved Fructeran noble to Tomaté in his hour of needing to unify Fructera". So in other words, it's not pro-Amangeaux like, what a great lady. It's like, you're bad at politics, right?"
What do you make of this? My take is: this is an EXTREMELY authoritarian radish. His first priority is to make all people subjects (obedient, humble, without agency, never thinking of independence / self-government / self-determination, or that they deserve rights of any kind) under ONE rule.
Which rule, exactly, is not immediately clear. We know he promotes the interests of the church: he chose to dispose of Sir Drunon because he was an enemy of the church. I think he's angling for a theocracy in the long-term. But for now he's supporting a secular monarch, and he doesn't even think to rally the people to give power to the church from below. Because the people aren't supposed to rally, they're supposed to do as they're told. And until he gets the church to call the shots directly, he's happy with an absolute monarch ruling by divine right, i.e. one that he/the church can control. And until that happens, he's happy supporting the "rightful" monarch, Queen Amangeaux, NOT because she's "a great lady" (if she is, it's irrelevant!) but because she's THE queen, and y'all don't get to choose your kings and queens. [Speculation: he engineered the lack of heirs via contraceptive/abortifacient in the tea, so that the church would succeed the last heirless monarch.]
What he emphatically does NOT want in power is the rabble. And in his mind, all the classes are rabble. Even a hypothetical parliament of landlords or a council / diet of nobles would be too democratic and inclusive, and even a bunch of independent but otherwise perfectly monarchical kingdoms would be (and have been!) too chaotic. Which is why he's pushing for "unity" at every turn.
Tumblr media
the union of temporal and spiritual power: castle + church, crown + mitre, cannon + excommunication, weapons + logic, armies + religious courts
So I think his end-goal is a sovereign with absolute authority, both secular and spiritual. In his mind, there needs to be a single State under a single "decider", a one-man (or one pope) rule, "a common power to keep them all in awe", otherwise it's "war of all against all", and everyone's doomed to the whirring teeth of death he keeps seeing in his visions: "continual fear, and danger of violent death; and the life of man, solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short."
I'm telling ya, that radish is a Hobbes fanboy FOR SURE. And if the whirring teeth of death are revealed to be, as suspected, a blender or a garbage disposal, the magnificent absurdity of this setting will have given us the most batshit illustration of Hobbesian terror at the prospect of people living "without a common power to keep them all in awe":
"Darkness. Whirring, strange reflective teeth. The sound of a high-pitched whining scream, grinding lower and lower. Blood, viscera, tearing of flesh. Nothing, darkness, flesh, shadow."
And this being a prequel, we already know the levels of repressive authoritarianism such a fear can give birth to.
…Or I am making ALL of this up, because I'm biased for reasons already explained. We'll see!
[quotes in italics are Hobbes's]

Simple idea my brain presented me with a couple of weeks ago. Actually decided to write the thing.
No warnings. Word count only about 680. Chris, Leon, and Carlos.
Gaming With The Guys Headcanons
Tumblr media
Chris isn't much of a gamer, but he doesn't mind playing something every once in a while.
He'll mostly play with you, though. He doesn't enjoy doing it alone, so you'll never find him hogging your consoles or PC.
He likes fighting games like Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, Tekken, and Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat is probably his favourite game because he thinks the fatalities are great.
He was extremely amused when you showed him there is such a thing as a 'babality' too, and he wouldn't stop practising the button combos until he could execute a babality every time he managed to win from you.
Aside from the fighting games, Chris will also play First Person Shooters with you, but he doesn't enjoy them as much. He spends too much time firing guns in everyday life, so he prefers to avoid things that have to do with shooting when he's home.
He may not be much of a gamer, but he does like it when you play online with other people. He'll sometimes watch and cheer you on. It's cute, but he can occasionally turn into a backseat gamer. You can just kick him out of the room whenever he does that.
Tumblr media
Leon loves story-driven games. He will happily play any story-driven game with you, even if the games are very long.
He enjoys games that are like Final Fantasy and The Witcher, but he also doesn't mind more chill games like Stardew Valley.
He actually bought the game himself, so you can play Stardew Valley together. Sometimes all the man needs after a long day at work is to just grow crops, milk cows and redecorate your house when you're out mining for ores.
When it comes to games like the Witcher, he enjoys watching you play it and solving the puzzles together. He does get really invested in the stories, though, so every once in a while he'll be cranky if he has to write a report when he could be spending time with you and your video games instead.
If you write fanfiction or make fanart of the games you love, he'll want to read and see all of it. He absolutely loves it when his S/O is creative.
Tumblr media
Carlos just wants to play older games. He has a preference for anything put out by Sega and Nintendo and insisted you both get a couple of Pokémon games. He really likes to battle you, and he's pretty damn good at it, too.
When Pokémon Go comes out he will practically beg you to install it so you can go on lovely walks together while simultaneously catching some Pokémon.
He also loves playing Mario games with you. It could be Mario Kart or Mario Tennis, but he's also happy to take turns while playing the original Super Mario Bros Games.
The same goes for Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic makes him feel nostalgic, and every time you fire up a game, he will happily yell 'Seeegaaaaaa' at the television. It's cute as heck, really.
Carlos isn't patient enough to play games like the Legend of Zelda, but he does love the way the newer Zelda games look. He will beg you to play them so he can watch without having to make an effort himself. Weirdly, he doesn't grow impatient if you get stuck in a game; it's only when he plays them himself that his impatience becomes a problem.
When you're not around and he's at home alone, he may play some games by himself. Mainly stuff like Donkey Kong or Double Dragon. But he prefers gaming with you, so it won't happen that often.
When it comes to more violent games, he mainly plays a lot of GTA. He's not too violent in the games, but he does think it's fun to murder people, steal a bicycle and try to escape the police while having a 5-star wanted level.
If you're willing, he will roleplay with you in GTA 5 as he thinks it's hilarious. He's great at coming up with funny stories, and doing some GTA RP with him is bound to make you laugh for a long time.
BONUS WESKER!
I'm kidding. Wesker is absolutely not interested in video games and will just leave you alone whenever you feel like playing them. He doesn't hate them, he just doesn't want to play or watch them himself. Sorry. I really couldn't write anything for him this time.

•Aesthetics (If I see some nice photo of a sunset or the sky, I immediately repost it because I feel like it. I also post a lot of things related to nostalgia because as I said before I like the "nostalgiacore" aesthetic. And I'm very nostalgic, they were beautiful times when the only worry was "which Winx character am I?")
•My posts are tagged "Dia's post"
🔞If you are a minor, do not interact. I'm a girl from 2002 so I have young adult maturity‼️ For adults (because I know we are not all the same and not everyone likes some things) I would like to point out some things that I could reblog: I might reblog paintings or sculptures with naked people BUT also drawings with people semi-naked or shown in a sexy way. The artists I refer to are: Fumetti Brutti by Josephine Yole Signorelli and EvviArt. They are the only ones I follow but it is to make you understand what type of art I like. I could reblog posts where sexual topics are written: from the classic "use protection when having s3x" or raise awareness about some topics related to this theme. I want people to be informed about some aspects of this topic (I'm not talking about p0rnographic things ) such as the importance of using protection and above all how important consent is. I don't reblog kink-related stuff or explicit porn because it's not a topic of interest to me. And I don't even have kink because s3x isn't a topic that interests me. It doesn't shock me to hear about NSFW things (it disgusts me if disturbing topics are included in this topic). Many of my interests (TV series or video games and things like that) involve adult themes.🔞
🧜‍♀️Comfort characters:
•Jinx (League of legends/Arcane. She is my main and for certain things I see myself in her)
•Seraphine (League of Legends. didn't like her at first but I love her gameplay. And I think she has the best skins -along with Jinx, of course-)
•Evelynn (League of Legends. She's a Goddess)
•Chloe Price (Life is strange. She made me understand that I like women too. I love this punk)
•Sunset Shimmer (Equestria Girls. She is one of the few ENTJs to be a positive character. I really like how her character has evolved)
•Reagan Ridley (Inside Job. We are very similar in certain things)
•Entrapta (She ra. I love this chaotic neutral autistic scientist princess. Again, I see myself in her)
•Kotori Minami (Love Live! When I was in middle school this was my favorite anime)
•Dia Kurosawa (Love Live! Sunshine. Love Live is an anime that accompanied me as I grew up. I'm very fond of it)
❕️I'm looking for young adult people like me (young adult means being over 18 and under 30). I have no problem with NSFW (I prefer artistic nudity) and I have no problem with swearing. I have a certain maturity so I want to interact with people like that.❕️
‼️ This is my safe space🗣 SO DO NOT INTERACT WITH ME IF YOU ARE: racist, homophobic, transphobic and against the LGBT community, do not interact if you are a pedophile and if you harm animals. Don't interact if you are against feminism (which I remind you, means gender equality), don't interact if you are people with ideas of hatred and discrimination. No ignorant people about mental health or what is happening in the world, because we are in 2024 and we need to have a minimum of culture. If you think abortion is murder, I would say you can also go elsewhere because I support women's rights and human rights in general. In general, don't interact if you are a person with bad ideas (that kind of bad ideas. Go away)‼️
🌟Talk to me if you are a normal person (and if you're nice and send funny memes. Or if you want to talk about some fandom in common or something. We can also play some video games together or talk about philosophical things like "what's the point of life?" or things like "do aliens exist?")🌟

Storyteller's Vault
Dark Fates Collide!
The garou of Sept of the Trillium Glade stand at a crossroads, their fate already written in the stars. The temperate rainforests of the Pacific Northwest serve as a dark and brooding backdrop for their tragic story, one that showcases a specimen of intrigue lurking at the heart of the World of Darkness.
The first Act of Dead Mountain is high-powered chronicle written for Werewolf: the Apocalypse and is meant to be played in any edition of the game. This tragedy is written for 3 to 8 players of Rank 3 Adren, and is intended to have a long game duration of 6-9 months in length.
Set in 1975, this story revolves around the garou of four packs around Dead Mountain, set at an ancient Red Talon caern doomed to abscess to save itself. The players will need to navigate the complex web of long-standing alliances and animosities that exist among the different packs here. They must fight to protect their territory from incursions by their enemies, while also trying to uncover the secrets of their own history and make hard decisions that will have lasting impacts, preserving the things most important to each garou.
Senescence provides an opportunity to take all of your favorite legends, happenings, character experiences and edition history, and freeze it in time. This chronicle is the first of two acts That allow you to create your own mythology in the region that new players in Act 2 will unearth and piece together. Act 1 is the vehicle for giving closure to the characters that never saw an end to their chronicle, that one showdown you never got to play out, or found out what your favorite character's ultimate fate was to be. And in the grim ending of this first Act, all of those things you love the most will now become the legends that reveal themselves to the garou that come long after, bringing closure to the events that are to take place here.
This is a story of tragedy, one that will test the players' resolve and challenge their notions of what it means to be a garou. It is a tale of ancient secrets, hidden truths, and the grim and unforgiving landscape of the World of Darkness. The players will need to rely on their own wits and ingenuity to uncover the mysteries that lie ahead, and they will emerge from the story as better, more skilled storytellers in their own right!
Senescence Includes:

WHO IS GEORGIE DAVIDSON?
Georgie Davidson is a 17 year old student at Hatchetfield High School. She lives with her parents, Mr. Ken Davidson and Mrs. Carol Davidson, in a suburb near the outskirts of Witchwood Forest. She’s a music + theater nerd, a stoner, and an avid researcher of urban legends and local history.
———
Her relationships differ based on timelines and circumstance, but there are some through-lines.
- Best friends with Alice Woodward. They met at a CCRP take your kid to work day as elementary schoolers and have been inseparable since. Bill is also like a second father to her.
- Close friends with Ruth Fleming. Georgie started doing school theater very young, and pretty much knew everyone involved. Ruth joined the tech crew in middle school and, being a certified chatterbox, Georgie regularly spent her breaks trying to talk to the new girl. Eventually, she broke her down and they’ve been close since.
- Drifted apart childhood friends with Richie Lipschitz. In middle school, they rode the same bus and both ended up sitting next to each other one day. Georgie struck up a conversation out of boredom and something just stuck. They kept sitting with each other and talking more in school, becoming closer friends. But, Georgie started developing feelings for Richie and she didn’t understand them, so she began to distance herself. Now, they don’t speak at all.
- Family Friends (?) with Paul Matthews. Georgie was babysat by Paul as a child, often alongside Alice, as she’d frequently stay at the Woodward place. She still calls him Uncle Paul, a childhood habit.
- Charlotte Sweetly babysat Georgie once in a while, too. Mr. Davidson asked the employees of the office to look after his daughter as a last resort, and offered to pay as overtime. Charlotte accepted happily, and spent the night braiding Georgie’s hair, making cookies and singing with the girl. They did this regularly, until Mr. Davidson became uncomfortable with Georgie being around her husband, Sam. But, like Paul, she’s still Aunt Charlotte.
- Second-cousins with Zoey & Zach Chambers. They don’t see each other or talk like, ever. But, it makes Georgie feel very starstruck to be related to Hatchetfield’s finest actress.
- Friends with Deb, Trevor, Caitlyn, PJ, Reese, Rose, Ziggs, Sof, and Danny
- Dislikes Max Jägerman, Kyle Clauger, Brad Callahan, Grace Chasity, Brenda, Ted Spankoffski, The Metzgers
anyone not mentioned she has neutral feelings towards and would gladly be their friend <3 (ppl she dislikes feel free to interact still💪)
———

Hey quick question, why did you pick Heart's Desire and what do you think of the other ambitions (based entirely on what you've likely gathered through community osmosis)
honestly? from the descriptions of everything alone i was actually inclined towards nemesis! and still am, technically, but i've made an alt to (extremely slowly) progress through it now (he's caeru. caeru is going full nemesis. he's also my seeking account. he's gonna be going through the horrors.)
in terms of picking heart's desire, it was more of a roleplay choice than anything else. i decided early on that my londonite would be more of a persuasive/watchful selfish hedonistic scoundrel, with a vast string of lovers (for manipulation) and law breaking (for pleasure) left in their wake back on the surface. chasing after a high risk high reward card game felt like the natural sort of progression for that kind of guy. and also i read up on the rewards before i chose and i gotta say. becoming a master has the others beat by a comical margin, huh.
as for the others:
-nemesis is neat! this is the one i've actually played the start of, though i'm not very far in at all. as i said, it's the story that originally intrigued me and it's the one that (from what i've heard) has the most painful grind. so. oh boy for caeru, huh? i haven't read about it much because i'm planning on playing it eventually
-bag a legend is... fine? i'm kinda mid on it. it's a fine premise, it's a fine hook, it's apparently got some damn fine scenes, but from the outside looking in it feels like the most "exactly what's on the tin" ambition to me. you hunt the vake. you kill the vake. somewhere along the way you can bite mr fires a lot. it's okay, but if all the ambitions were playable on one character it'd be the one i'd play last. i need some more twists and spice on my ambition sandwich, y'know
-light fingers is actually slowly winning over? me? the more i learn about it? i wasn't interested at all at first glance but i've seen a few snippets of the horror parts and it's good. very juicy. very fucked up. if i could play multiple ambitions on one character i'd actually want to do this one after heart's desire, maybe even before. haven't experienced it at all but from everything i see it's a finger lickin banger and i kinda want to make a 3rd alt just for it
there that's my ambition takes ur welcome

Raydad and his tiny lum daughter. This is Lumlight and she was going to be a major character down the line within my Rayman stories when I was planning on writing fan fiction. Now she's a character that may pop in depending on the timeline over on my roleplay blog.
The original story for Lumlight within my old stories went like this:
Mr. Dark was planned to return as a major villain when he finished his recovery period. This would've been long past the events of Rayman Legends. Mr. Dark knew that if he had any chance of taking Rayman on again, he'd have to strip him of his allies. When Rayman managed to rescue his friends with ease, Mr. Dark began using more underhanded methods. The primary target became Raymona. He knew that if he robbed Rayman of his girlfriend, it would be a major blow to the limbless hero. He succeeded in capturing Raymona and left her to Jano. Jano sealed Raymona away in a nightmare realm. In a last ditch effort, she used her power to weave a one of a kind lum. One made of pure light. She sent the Lum away to find Rayman before she succumbed and fell into an "eternal sleep plagued with nightmares." Mr. Dark went to great lengths to convince everyone that Raymona was dead. Rayman was in denial but eventually fell into grief and heartbreak at the thought that it might be true.
Lumlight, lost, cold, and scared appeared outside the window of Rayman's home. The limbless hero brought her inside and she told him her story. Hearing that Raymona might still be alive gave him the boost he needed. Rayman took to the lum like she was his daughter given that she was one of Raymona's creations. In his head, it was like how Betilla made him and Ly made Raymona. He was the one that named her, Lumlight. Lumlight would begin calling Rayman her dad not long after.
In his quest to rescue Raymona and defeat Mr. Dark, Lumlight becomes a member of his team. She serves as an active source of light, but her greatest power is the power to dispel or ward off darkness power or Nightmares. She is Jano's weakness. This made her an active target by all the villains within the glade. This leads to Rayman being a lil bit of an overprotective parent. She is also small and Rayman's one worry is her getting squished by something.
She goes with on Rayman's quest to defeat Mr. Dark. She helps him with defeating Jano and rescuing Raymona, and also played a part in helping Demona. Lumlight temporarily fuses with her and allows Demona to become less hostile and violent permanently. She is downgraded from an active danger to the same troublemaker status as her brother, Raymesis.
Lumlight was going to go with Rayman to the final confrontation against Mr. Dark and she was going to be the "final blow" by temporarily fusing herself to him and overloading him with light power. This final attack left Lumlight severely weakened, but she survived. Rayman and Raymona adopt Lumlight. Mr. Dark is sent back into recovery, but Rayman's not out of the woods as Lumlight's birth began a resurgence of other old foes, and a few new ones.
--------------------
Lumlight is the only lum of her type and Rayman is often approached by people that want to take time to study her. He refuses every time. The only ones allowed to are Ly and Betilla. Lumlight displays a higher grade of intelligence than typical lums. She is capable of speaking full words and not the gibberish type language most lums use. She is very young, but will grow and mature. Her powers are a mix of Ly's silver lums and the red lums Rayman used to heal with in Rayman 2 and 3, along with her own set of powers that make her unique. Lumlight can fuse herself to people and creatures. She is absorbed into their body and can provide either power ups, healing, or she can overload forces of dark and nightmare with light magic to defeat them. She needs to be careful with using the overloading because it can harm her in the process if she uses too much power.
Lumlight's voice claim is Lara Jill Miller. She's done voice acting work as Fink in OK K.O., Kari Kamiya within the Digimon Franchise, Haru in the english dub of Beastars, The voice actress for Juniper Lee, or my favorite and choice for Lumlight: Allie from the Curious George animated series

Hello fellow internetians,
So to start this off, I write and draw but I'm working may way up to accepting art requests so I'm starting with writing first since I've done so before.
The names I go by are Ash/Arena so please address me by either of you need to. About a year ago now, give or take a couple of months, I got sick and ever since I've been having to rely on my mother's income. I want to help her out and so I'm taking commissions in any of the fandoms I list on the first page. Rules will be included below and I have a goal in mind that I wish to reach.
Currently said goal is 500 a month but I want to keep a hold on this goal for periods of time so every time it hits I'll reset.
I'm still getting accounts to other platforms set up so if needed I can be reached across various different platforms so I can keep up with everyone and so you all can keep up with me.
-
Hello Everyone,
As I listed in the description this book is for commissions and for the most part I'll be collecting requests from this book while also posting the requests in this book so you all don't have to search far to find your story after I'm done writing them.
My name is Arena, though Ash and Ashes are other names that I don't mind you all calling me by either. I am 20 years old and so most of my work will be for adults considering I am one. If you aren't an adult though you can still request but you'll have to go to the 'Underage Requests' Page and do it there which I'll be making before Post an 'Adult Requests' Page. Please do not lie to me about your ages because if you do I'll be upset.
Now for my story:
About a year ago, give or take some months, I got sick with Guillain-Barre and so I haven't been able to work thanks to being currently disabled. I have written commissions before on here and ao3 (archiveofourown) on different accounts so I'm doing that again. When I have all my accounts fully set up I'll mention them on this account by name under my account so you all can branch out and find me if needed. As stated I haven't been able to work or attend college like I was before so this is my way of making some much needed cash for myself and my family.
If you don't have the money that's fine, I'm not talking to you, but I do appreciate you reading my book and sharing it to bring more people to it in the future.
From this point on I expect to have people contacting me so I'll go ahead and list my fandoms and prices.
I do write for OCS as well though so if you are looking for that just go ahead and skip to the next chapter which will be talking about my few rules for OCS. I also roleplay so I'm happy to accept and adopt other roleplayers that are literate like I am. If you are not looking for a partner but instead want to commission me to write out a certain scene from your own roleplays that's of course welcomed and accepted.
Fandoms:
- Castlevania
- My Hero Academia
- Diabolical Lovers
- Avatar/Legend of Korra
- Avatar (with the big blue ppl)
- Hellsing
- Black Butler
- Obey Me
- Stardew Valley
- Naruto Shippuden
- Across the Spiderverse
- The Arcana
- Records of Ragnarok
- Mortal Kombat
- Resident Evil Series
- Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss
- Detroit Becomes Human
((Keep in mind that the fandom list can and most likely will grow so if you are interested but your fandom isn't listed it is okay to ask me if I'll still write them. I'm in a lot of fandoms I just couldn't think of all the names at the moment))
Prices:
- 500 words for $5
- 1000 words for $15
- 2000 words for $25
- 3000 words for $35
- 4000 words for $45
- 5k words for $55
- 6k words for $65
- 7k words for $75
- 8k words for $85
- 9k words for $95
- 10k words for $105
Considering situations, sometimes stories will be longer than what was paid and it's okay, I won't go over to the point where the story leads into a different price range but a few extra words will go over the limit sometimes. If that happens, don't worry about it. It's free of charge after that so you don't have to pay extra.
I also want to mention that I also write for 'Monster Fuccers' so if you have a thing for DnD or some monster OC you want to hunch on I accept requests for those as well so don't by shy.
If you have questions on what I will or will not write even after reading all the pages that will be posted after this chapter then just comment here or dm more for answers. ÙwÚ
That's all for now I believe so for now I'll be checking out. Please excuse any typing errors if there are any, I'll be correcting them in my own time. (no, of course I'll make sure to double check and correct any errors that my be in your requests before sending it to you ) As I've said, if you have questions my dms and comments are always open so don't be afraid to ask me anything.
My payment methods are PayPal and Cashapp though PayPal can be a bit frustrating for me so depending on things I might close that option and only make Cash app my way of payment.
Thank you all for reading into this and I hope we can get along and can happy things rolling soon. Everyone who deserves it, have a blessed day! ✨✨✨

@mightiestbanana liked for a starter
Tumblr media
“…There was, once, some time ago, when your people were very nearly successful in ending my life.”
It was just the two of them that evening, Zelda and Kohga, sitting beside the camps fireside while all others slept. The Princess of Hyrule did not look at her companion as she spoke, just audible over the flickering flames, eyes settled on the twist and turns of firelight.
“We were in Gerudo,” she continued, “Link and I…but I disregarded him. I went out on my own, and one of your people found me as I was studying an ancient artifact. They cornered me…”
Fingers lifted idly to trace her neck where bruises had once been.
Tumblr media
“…and for a moment, I truly thought they would kill me. They had my throat, and…I could not breath, could not escape…and then…they let go. I do not know why, I ran the moment they did…others followed, and Link was able to find and defend me, but…had that particular Yiga clan member not released their hold on me…I often wonder who they were…and why they let me go…”
There was quiet then, thinly stretched between them, before Zelda finally raised her eyes to look at Kohga.
“…Do you truly think my death would have been best for Hyrule?”

New for $5+ Patrons: Solo RPG streams (upcoming)
Tumblr media
(crossposted from Patreon)
One of the upcoming new perks for $5+ patrons is access to a weekly stream of me playing different solo roleplaying games. This is unusual for me because I am not a gamer. The reason? Well, largely, it’s because I have control issues.
I’ve attempted things like Dungeons and Dragons but I’ve discovered that I don’t really let myself get into the swing of the game when I have to account for a DM. I like having control of the story myself. So I’ve started picking up RPGs designed for single players at my yearly PAX Unplugged trips. The writing in these things fascinates me, as do the mechanics. A lot of them are journaling games (like Lighthouse at the End of the World, which I’ve shared a bit of here before), but some involve using books, or ordinary playing cards, or just walking around your neighborhood. And I like hoarding collecting things.
At a recent party, while in a fit of slightly tipsy camaraderie, I offered to write reviews of these games for my buddy Wyatt over at Sprites and Dice. Unfortunately for me, he said yes, so now I have to play them.
And since I need outside incentive to actually play the things without outside incentive, let alone write articles about them, I will be inviting you to come watch me play, and potentially egg me on to make terrible decisions. Most of them will only take an hour or so, but others will involve multiple weeks, and I have no idea what I’m doing, so I’ll be easy to manipulate.
These are the games I have on-hand:
Lighthouse at the End of the World
By Ken Lowery
Bannerless Games
“Tend the light. Fend off the dead. In all things, persist. You play a lighthouse keeper at the furthest reaches of civilization. Your tormentors are numerous: the crushing solitude, the chaotic weather, the penal colony nearby, and a legion of unquiet dead conspire to erode your sanity until one of them claims you. You may well die. But you will not go quietly.” (https://bannerlessgames.itch.io/lighthouse)
Thousand Year-Old Vampire
By Tim Hutchings
“A solo roleplaying game of loss, memory, and vampires. In Thousand Year Old Vampire, you chronicle the many centuries of a vampire’s existence, beginning with the loss of mortality and ending with inevitable destruction. Prompt-driven play and simple resource tracking provide easy rules for exploring your character’s human failings, villainous acts, and surprising victories. Expect gut-churning decisions and irreconcilable acts.” (https://thousandyearoldvampire.com/collections/all/products/thousand-year-old-vampire)
The Locked Room Murder Mystery Game
Adam Bell Games
“A tabletop storytelling game for one or more players inspired by Golden Age murder mystery detective novels. Create a cast of characters gathered in one place. Fill their lives with tension and secrets. Join our great detective as they solve the mysterious murder of one of our characters found in a locked room. Play out the investigation until the true culprit is determined, and reveal the truth hidden among the clues and suspects in the detective’s journal.” (https://adamebell.itch.io/the-locked-room-murder-mystery-game)
Whispers in the Walls: A solo horror journaling game about the knowledge of the walls
Pandion Games
“As you draw cards, you’ll be directed to prompts to write as the P.I. trying to solve a mystery. Throughout the game, you’ll draw cards from your constructed Whispers Deck to learn what the walls, ceiling, and floors are telling or showing you, keep notes on what you think it all means and ultimately conclude the truth.” (https://pandiongames.com/products/the-whispers-in-the-walls)
Transformation: A solo RPG about the monster you are becoming
Absurdist Productions
“Transformation is a solo horror role-playing game in which you chronicle the metamorphosis of an ordinary human into something monstrous while their companion attempts to cope.” (https://www.absurdistproductions.com/product/transformation/)
Legend Has It
By Adam Bell Games
“Legend Has It is an anthology mythmaking card game for one or more players. Pull sentences from your favorite books to weave new legends. Craft the mythos of a world of your creation and give life to its new oral histories.” (https://adamebell.itch.io/legend-has-it)
Strollplaying Field Notes Zine Pack
By Seb Pines
Good Luck Press
“Stroll・play・ing game [noun]: a small roleplaying game that one can play while out on a walk.
“The Strollplaying Games Trio Pack includes three small single-player games in field notes style journals for you to carry in a pocket or keep in a bag so you can play a small game while you are out. Each 24-page journal includes the rules text to play each game along with plenty of blank pages to write and draw your game experience directly into the journal. Bring a pen or pencil on your walk with the journals and no other tools are needed to play.”  (https://goodluckpress.co/products/strollplaying-field-notes-zine-pack)
Games include:
How to Write a Ghost Story
A New Landscape
Reclaim
Which one I write up first will depend on Wyatt; as of this writing, he’s got the list and is deciding my fate. (…Pray for me.)
Again, if you’d like to join me in exploring the ins and outs of solo indie gaming, these streams will be available to patrons at the $5 and up tiers, so if that sounds like fun, please consider subscribing! (And if you don’t want to or aren’t able, that is also fine! All the streams will be uploaded to YouTube once they’re finished.)

Hi, my lovelies. If you've been looking for a female roleplayer with a novella-like writing style, look no further—I'm here!
I would love to collaborate with a long-term writing partner who is as passionate as I am and can match my writing length. Depending on where we are in our little story, I don't necessarily require a lot of paragraphs, but three or more will do the trick.
I’m fine with portraying females and males, so please feel comfortable in doing the same. Twenty-one or older to interact.
Due to my current full-time job and fluctuating off days, I'm also searching for partners who aren't seeking a (roleplay) reply every day. Of course, I'll continuously update everyone with whom I roleplay about my availability so that no one is left in the dark or believes I've lost interest. In return, I would appreciate the same.
Lastly, I’m interested in mxf and mxm pairings.
- Historical fiction themed.
Has an undertone or is based on Pride and Prejudice, Anna Karenina, Atonement, Marie Antoinette, Emily, Young Victoria, Jane Eyre, or Becoming Jane.
- Supernatural elements themed (monster romance w/ vampires, werewolves, mermaids/sirens, etc).
Has an undertone or is based on Twilight, Queen Of The Damned, Interview With The Vampire, Crimson Peak, Only Lovers Left Alive, The Vampire Diaries, Meet Joe Black, or Teen Wolf.
- 2000s themed.
Has an undertone or is based on Gossip Girl, A Walk To Remember, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, The Notebook, 50 First Dates, 13 going on 30, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Wedding Date, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, 27 Dresses, A Cinderella Story, or The O.C.
- Dystopia, science fiction, and apocalyptic themed.
Has an undertone or is based on The Hunger Games, The Darkest Minds, Divergent, The Walking Dead, I Am Legend, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, Her, or I’m Your Man.
- Horror (dark) themed.
Has an undertone or is based on Scream, Jennifer’s Body, Carrie, Heathers, American Horror Stories, Black Swan, The Love Witch, or The Craft.
- Honorable mentions!
Has an undertone or is based on Normal People, Perks Of Being a Wildflower, Love Rosie, Skam, Fleabag, My Best Friend’s Wedding, Skins uk, Titanic, Pretty Woman, Love & Other Drugs, Almost Famous, The Fault In Our Stars, American Honey, or Pretty In Pink.
The films and television shows I've listed serve as mere suggestions meant to be useful while we're coming up with possible plot lines.
Overall, I'm hoping for a lot of romance, character growth, and world-building.
NSFW, playlists, and Pinterest friendly.

Toad Patrol (1999)
Tumblr media
Propaganda Below
Sent: "I think if this show wasn't some obscure Canadian cartoon that came out before a lot of kids had access to internet, it'd be the kind of show where kids make OCs to roleplay as online. On the surface it looks like some sort of goofy smurf wannabe, but it's actually a fun little adventure series about toadlets trying to survive in the wild.
also three episodes with the original english voice acting are still lost media, including the very last episode, so I need more people to become obsessed with this show so we can either find those last few episodes or at least get english subtitles on the versions we do have"
Google: "The story is about a group of eight young "Toadlet" siblings and their struggle for survival in The Great Forest. The Ancients are quite powerful and knowledgeable in shamanistic like magic. According to legend; they had created Toad Hollow, left many symbols of their existence behind and had eventually disappeared."

electro is such a polarizing element bc how different the vibes are. like boys are always furry short king hyperfixated on found family and strong sense of right and wrong, but the girlies are all wlw and either the absolute chad badasses like Kuki and Beidou or the most cringefail toxic girlbosses like raiden and yae.
i haven’t formulated the electro visions meta yet, but i believe that electro is about creating your own world that goes against the society or even the reality and fighting for it. electro are often loners like cryo, but cryo believe they are isolated by something inherent that they can’t change, electro isolate by choice IF they choose to
and i think the difference between cool and cringefail electro are in that decision, to isolate bc you believe in the superiority of your ~eternity~ and that others just won’t get it. like beidou was ostracized as an unlucky orphan by the people she grew up with and she said no thanks, i wont play this role, imma be a sexy pirate and a legend moster slayer. kuki was supposed to become a shrine maiden and she was like no thanks i don’t want to spend my life sitting under a tree and being manipulated by a pink furry, imma self-actualize as a lawyer and join a community who will love and support me no matter what i choose to become, even if this group is seen as not respectable by other ppl. like they both went with their own vision of the world even if it meant leaving all they knew behind, but they didn’t close off and they now have a lot of friends and ppl who love them
but like no one ostracized rauden, she decided to close herself in a room herself. she decided that the rest of the world has nothing to offer her but decay. sure, she was grieving, but beidou suffered much more and didn’t become a solipsist like raiden. and yae’s story quest is like “sad that so few youkai left:( the magic world is leaving:(” when yae is fucking ostracizing or directly trying to harm the lives of every yokai she meets, like sara, ittto, harassing gorou. girlboss is herself the main contributor to her isolation, there are magic beings all around inazuma, she just pushes them away
fischl is kiinda in danger of becoming cringefail girlboss, but she has friends who are both willing to roleplay with her, but also keep her in check by reminding her she’s being cringe, so i think she’ll turn out fine.
sara doesn’t count, she is actually a chad badass who was indoctrinated as a child into following cringefail girlbosses and i can fix her
