Understanding Google Analytics
Google Analytics, provided by Google as a free web analytics service, empowers website owners to monitor and analyze user interactions on their respective sites. By aggregating and organizing data, Google Analytics equips businesses with the means to make informed decisions and refine their online strategies.
Significance of Google Analytics
In the realm of digital advancement, decisions rooted in data hold unparalleled importance. Google Analytics grants you deep insights into your audience's preferences, behaviors, and demographics. Armed with this knowledge, you can tailor your content, fine-tune marketing campaigns, and optimize website design to effectively resonate with your target audience.
Setting Up Google Analytics
Initiating your journey with Google Analytics is a straightforward process. Begin by signing in to your Google account or creating one if necessary. Subsequently, navigate to the Google Analytics website and adhere to the setup instructions to establish an account for your website. Following this, you'll receive a unique tracking code that must be integrated into your website's HTML. This tracking code facilitates the collection of data by Google Analytics.
Exploring the Dashboard
Upon successfully setting up your account, you'll gain access to the Google Analytics dashboard. This centralized hub serves as your gateway to diverse reports and insights pertaining to your website's performance. The intuitive interface streamlines navigation, enabling you to swiftly locate the information you seek.
Essential Metrics and Terminology
Unveiling the Power of Google Analytics

Before delving into advanced functionalities, acquainting yourself with pivotal metrics and terminology within Google Analytics is imperative. Familiarize yourself with terms such as:
Sessions: Denoting user interactions on your website within a specified timeframe.
Pageviews: Representing the total count of pages viewed on your site.
Bounce Rate: Signifying the percentage of single-page visits wherein users exit without further interaction.
Conversion Rate: Indicating the percentage of users who fulfill desired actions, such as sign-ups or purchases.
Tracking Website Traffic
At its core, Google Analytics facilitates the tracking of website traffic. You can discern the origins of your traffic—be it organic search, direct visits, referrals, or social media. This insight aids in understanding which channels drive the most visitors to your site, subsequently enabling you to calibrate marketing efforts accordingly.
Analyzing Audience Insights
A profound comprehension of your audience underpins the tailoring of content and marketing strategies. Google Analytics imparts invaluable insights into audience demographics, interests, geographical distribution, and devices of choice for accessing your site. Armed with this data, you can design targeted campaigns and deliver content that resonates authentically with your visitors.
Monitoring User Behavior
Google Analytics empowers you to monitor user behavior on your website. Insights extend to the identification of high-traffic pages, user dwell times, and pathways traversed through your site. Such revelations illuminate content that engages visitors and highlights areas ripe for enhancement.

Measuring Conversion Goals

Implementation of conversion goals within Google Analytics facilitates tracking of specific user actions on your website. These actions span a spectrum—from completing purchases to signing up for newsletters or submitting contact forms. Measurement of these goals provides insights into the efficacy of your calls to action, guiding optimisation efforts toward heightened conversion rates.
Leveraging E-commerce Tracking
For proprietors of online stores, Google Analytics presents e-commerce tracking capabilities. This functionality empowers you to monitor sales, revenue, and other transaction-related data. Delving into e-commerce metrics unravels customer behaviors, popular product trends, and revenue dynamics.
Decoding Campaign Performance
Google Analytics lends itself to tracking the performance of marketing campaigns. Crafting custom campaign URLs and tags affords visibility into the impact of distinct campaigns on driving traffic to your site. This insight equips you with the ability to channel resources toward the most impactful campaigns and refine overarching marketing strategies.
Crafting Customized Reports
While Google Analytics boasts an array of pre-fabricated reports, the creation of bespoke reports tailored to your specific requirements is an option. Custom reports empower you to select the metrics and dimensions you deem pertinent for analysis, fostering a more nuanced extraction of insights.
Creating Useful Alerts
Custom alerts can be configured within Google Analytics to notify you of significant shifts in your website's performance. For instance, sudden drops in traffic may prompt an alert. Such notifications ensure timely awareness of pivotal developments, facilitating swift intervention as needed.
Synergizing with Other Tools
To amplify data analysis capabilities, Google Analytics can be seamlessly integrated with supplementary tools such as Google Ads and Google Search Console. These integrations afford a holistic view of your online footprint, enabling well-informed decisions grounded in interconnected data.
Effective Data Interpretation Techniques

Prioritize Key Metrics: Focus on metrics most aligned with your objectives to avoid being overwhelmed.
Cross-Reference Periods: Compare data across various timeframes to discern trends.
Segment Data: Segment data based on different criteria (e.g., demographics, behavior) for enriched insights.
Stay Informed: Keep abreast of Google Analytics updates and fresh features to maximize utility.
Conclusion
Google Analytics emerges as an invaluable repository of insights capable of revolutionizing your online strategy. Trial and Error (8)

Pairing: Azriel x Reader
Summary: You came to Velaris under duress five years ago—pregnant, alone, and in hiding from something, or someone, too dangerous to even speak aloud. When your daughter begged you to go to school years after settling down in the apartment above a worn-down apothecary, you obliged her. But things still didn't feel safe. Azriel was going to do everything in his power to give you that safety. At least, he would try.
Word count: 3k
Warnings: Angst, references to an abusive family
a/n: Here is part 8!! yayy!! (and also sorry hehe oops)
Series Masterlist (all parts)
Main Masterlist ♡
~~
Within the echo of your hurried footsteps on the creaking apothecary floor, your labored breaths were plentiful and difficult to quell. You had sent Melanie upstairs the moment you unlocked the door, a feigned smile creating the guise that she needed to hurry and pack her things for her sleepover later. That’s why you had rushed away from the school. Not because you feared for… several things at the meeting of the General of the Night Court.
Melanie believed you, too distracted by her excitement to remain fixated on her confusion.
That was good.
She was fine. You were fine.
Would you stay fine?
Cassian was not dangerous, according to Azriel, but Cassian was loyal to the Night Court. Azriel had assured you that his family would never put you or your daughter in harm's way, but that had never been what made you feel safest around him.
“It has been carved into my chest from the moment we locked eyes.”
“I have waited for my mate for centuries. I have dreamed of you and wanted you, and I don’t know if that scares you, but I hope it can be some consolation.”
“I want to be all in with the two of you. My life has… it’s changed. It’s different now, because of you.”
It was Azriel himself that made you feel safe—that made you trust. And even though you knew you could trust his words, you couldn’t trust Cassian. You didn’t know Cassian, and even worse, Azriel had told you one too many times how much of a loudmouth he was. He wouldn’t tell the High Lord about you in a malicious way, but it would end poorly. This would all end poorly. You should leave. You should—
The door to the apothecary swung open with a force, the knob smacking into the wall on its way. You turned in anticipatory fear, hand over your heart, but much of that melted away when it was Azriel alone walking through the entryway.
He seemed to take stock of you first, looking for something by your feet that he did not find before moving to your hands, your shoulders, and behind you on the counter. When he completed his search, his shoulders dropped an inch, wings perking up from their drooped position.
“Melanie?” he asked, feet rooted to the floor across the room.
You brought your hand up to clasp your forearm, the position protecting you from nothing. “She’s upstairs packing.”
Azriel’s expression fractured. “Packing?” he croaked. The single word was almost unintelligible; it cracked and got lost in the deep timbre of his voice.
“For her sleepover. She’s still going to—”
You were interrupted by his boots closing the space between you. You felt him before you could catch up with his movements, his shadows slurring against your skin and into your hair. His forehead pressed against yours next, but when you went to search his expression, his eyes squeezed shut.
“I thought—” he began, brows furrowing and creating yet another crease on his face. “I thought I would find you leaving. I thought I scared you away this time.”
Your chest cracked open, heart pounding against your ribs until it hurt. You wouldn’t tell him that your thoughts had gone to that. You wouldn’t share that just moments before he burst in, your fingers had twitched as you thought about the one trunk you kept in the back of the closet upstairs.
You were used to running.
Running felt safe.
Azriel was the only thing that felt safer.
Your tongue darted out to wet your drying lips as you replied, “No. No, Azriel. Mel is just packing for the night.”
You had decided that the second he walked—or, rather, stormed—into the apothecary. You had decided that without the thought even materializing in your mind.
Azriel’s hands, which had made a home along the back of your neck, slid up to cup your jaw. His eyes fluttered open, eager to meet yours, and a bittersweet smile lit them up in a devastating way. “Okay,” he seemed to say to himself. “Okay, good. I’m—I’m sorry. About Cassian. He’s agreed to keep his meeting you quiet.”
There was something he was leaving out. The words were there, lingering in the dark parts of your mind. So you spoke them.
“For now,” you nodded, clasping his wrists. “Quiet for now, you mean.”
“No, he’s agreed—”
“Az, we both know that there are too many moving parts here. Cassian may have agreed or promised or have good intentions, but there are also two five-year-olds in the mix and, eventually, you will have to explain why you keep disappearing from family events. Like Cassian said—”
“I don’t care what Cassian said.”
“I know,” you whispered. He was scared. You could tell by the way his hands trembled against you. You weren’t sure what else scared the Shadowsinger, but you hated that you were part of something he feared.
“I have waited for my mate for centuries. I have dreamed of you and wanted you.”
“I can—”
“Aziel, stop,” you softly commanded. “It’s inevitable.”
“Tell me who you’re hiding from,” he practically begged. His wings stretched forward like shadows at your sides, protecting you from nothing. “I can fix it. I—You and Mel would be safer if—”
You pressed forward on your toes, and you kissed him.
He paused for a moment, his mouth stiff in shock against yours, but it only took a single breath for him to snap back to the present. Weeks of built-up tension and pressing truths and want poured into the way his lips reverently moved against yours. His touch, still a slight tremor lingering in the joints, moved up until his fingers found the base of your hair. He stepped forward twice, and your back met the front counter.
He only kissed you harder as your right hand left his wrist to steady yourself on the counter. He kissed you harder and he brought his arm around your back to take the responsibility on himself. His hand in your hair bunched at the roots but didn’t tug or pull—it was like he couldn’t help it, like the want to bring you closer resulted in stiff limbs and clenching fists.
You could have kissed him forever. He was keeping you safe here, his wings closing in even more if the light meeting your closed lids told you anything. His shadows brushed your skin, keeping you distracted enough for him to be in control of the kiss, but that wasn’t true; you knew in the small moments of hesitance that he would let you do anything—control anything.
When you broke apart, chest heaving and lashes fluttering, Azriel trailed a few lingering kisses to your cheeks and at your temple. Those were familiar places, territories he’d allowed himself before you’d given such express permission as you had right now. His own breath was somewhat labored, but he wouldn’t stop touching you, wouldn’t fully pull away.
“When I said it was inevitable—” you breathed out, bringing both hands to rest on the plane of his chest. “—I meant it was inevitable that I would have to meet your family. That they would know of me and… and Mel. I didn’t mean that I was going to leave.”
Azriel’s nose nudged against your cheek. A beat of silence followed your words. He pulled back a few inches, tucked your hair behind your ears, and let his eyes trace each of your features.
“You don’t have to. I don’t want you to feel forced just because of Cassian. I could make an excuse.”
He was giving you an out. You weren’t sure how he would possibly swing it, but Azriel was offering you more hiding. More secrets. The ability to have him without being tied down by his family and the role in the court that you so obviously feared. So many implications came with his offer. So many sacrifices he would have to make.
The scales were tipping. Things were changing. Maybe they could know you and be none the wiser. Maybe…
“I—I want to, Azriel. Melanie doesn’t deserve to be living in fear. Even if she doesn’t understand it right now.”
Azriel looked down towards your mouth, expression pained in a lingering wince. He continued brushing your hair back—a nervous habit, maybe, one flourishing since you’d allowed him to really touch you.
“And maybe I could explain things to you tonight. Fully. That way you can know what you might be bringing to your family before—”
“You are my family,” Azriel breathed out, the words not even in the air for a second before his mouth was on yours again.
This kiss was slower, more purposeful, holding more meaning.
It was cut short by stomps down the stairs. Azriel tore himself away from you, brushing his thumb over your bottom lip once before pulling his wing back to reveal Melanie with an overfilled bag dragging behind her. Stuffed animals and at least four pairs of socks peeked out from the top, and you were quickly reminded why you never let her pack her anything.
“What the heck are you guys doing?” Melanie questioned, frustration her primary emotion. “No one even came to help me! Mr. Azriel, only one of your shadows was hanging out with me, and I didn’t get my after-school snack.”
Azriel took half a step back from you and schooled his face into a more managed calm, sincerity evident in his palm over his chest. “I apologize, Melanie. How rude of me. How about I come up and make your snack while you and your mom sort out the bag for your sleepover?”
“I already packed it,” she drawled as if Azriel were blind, shaking the strap in her hand. “But I guess I would like a snack.”
You pressed your fingers over your mouth to stop the laugh from tumbling out. Azriel shot you a playful side eye and squeezed your hip before meeting Melanie at the base of the stairs.
“Oh, I can see that. But you can barely close it, Mel.” He gently took the bag from her, hauling it over his shoulder before lifting her to rest on his hip. “Anyways. Cheese and apples or the crackers I brought from my friend Sevenda?”
~~
Nervous energy permeated the room, the majority of it coming from you in droves. Some trickled from Azriel, but he hid it well within his constant movements.
Melanie was next door. You had eaten dinner together. You were cleaning the kitchen now, a mundane task that could have been done later, but you were clearly using it as a way to bide time. Azriel was allowing it—he would always let you do this at your own pace.
The more you dwelt on your previous plan of only telling Azriel who Melanie’s father was, the more it made no sense to you. If you only told him that piece of the story, he would still fail to understand why you’d run. He would know the name and position of one man and nothing else.
It had to be everything.
You chewed on the inside of your lip as the cleaning came to an end. Azriel made a show of hanging up the small towel by the basin and rubbing his hands together in finality. More time he was allowing.
“The fire?” you asked, motioning to the sitting room. Azriel offered you a small smile and pressed his hand to your back, guiding you to the loveseat there.
Your stomach was turning. He made no motion to urge you, mirroring you as you sat turned to face your mate.
Your mate and you still hadn’t felt the bond.
You picked at your fingers as they lay in your lap.
It didn’t take Azriel long to cover your hands with one of his. “You don’t have to do this. I don’t need to know if you aren’t ready.”
“I am ready,” you emphasized. “I trust you. Completely.”
Azriel leaned down. “Then what’s wrong?”
He would judge you. He would hate where you came from. He would turn you away.
Before, it had been about safety—about protecting Melanie. If anyone knew who you were or who she was, they would turn you in. The reward for doing so was hefty and money was always a driving force. While Azriel may not have been swayed by money, a bargaining chip between rival courts was also nothing to bat an eye at.
But he wouldn’t do that. You were sure of it.
Now your fear lay in his reaction to the truth.
“Nothing,” you assured, your smile tight and wrong as you looked up at him. “Just nervous, I guess.”
He leaned forward and pressed a kiss to your temple, but he did not remain there. Azriel gave you space, not touching you, but leaving his hands within reach if you needed them. You would tell this story alone.
“I won’t interrupt,” he said, voice carrying a regalness you hadn’t heard from him.
A deep breath. “I’m from Autumn, but you knew that. Melanie’s father is also from Autumn. He doesn’t know about her, though I think he might suspect since I ran with no contact after we…” You looked down at your hands. “We weren’t together. I’ve never been in a relationship. Never been allowed to.” You tilted your head to the side. “I grew up as a court lady. Trained to be one, anyway. My marriage was not planned at birth, but it was very carefully calculated by Beron.”
You felt Azriel shift on the loveseat, the cushions jostling you. When you looked up, his brows had lowered in concentration or confusion, you couldn’t tell. True to his word, he did not interrupt.
“When it was finally decided, I knew I couldn’t go through with it. The man they chose was a high-ranking noble from Spring, and he was—well, he was vile. About 3 centuries older than me, with a propensity for violence against women and multiple deceased wives. If you can connect the dots there,” you spit out. “But it’s not as if Beron or my… my father cared about that. They only wanted what would come from the union. Spring and Autumn finally chained together when High Lord Tamlin was at his weakest. They tried to force the union with Tamlin himself, but he’s been too much of a wreck to agree to much of anything.”
Azriel let out a breath as if he had gone to speak and thought better of it. You looked up at him with a searching gaze, but he only shook his head slightly and motioned for you to continue.
“Sorry,” you mumbled. “I’m telling this out of order. It’s difficult to gather my thoughts, but all of that is to say I had an arranged marriage I couldn’t go through with. My… brothers were all for it as well. There was going to be an announcement across Pyrithian and Beron was practically foaming at the mouth to have it all finalized. So, I ruined it.
“Gods, I had no idea what I was doing, just that there was only one way that awful man wouldn’t want me anymore. He had made it quite clear that my virtue was of utmost importance to him, which was exactly why I was hidden away for most of my life. That, and they were all waiting until I was most useful.”
You were starting to get angry now, and that inevitably led to you getting choked up. Your throat constricted and you twisted your mouth to the side when your nose started to burn. It was infuriating that after all this time, this still affected you this way. You bit your cheek and took a deep breath. It helped a little.
“Do you want a break?” Azriel softly asked, rubbing his thumb along your cheekbone.
“No.” You let out a wet laugh and palmed at the wetness under your eye. “I’ve only been talking for a few minutes. I just get angry, I’m fine.”
You paused after that, collecting yourself, but also getting lost in your head. Memories swirled together and assaulted your thoughts, reminding you of how terrible everything was and could be if this went poorly. Anxiety then came. And regret and confusion and hurt.
You were too far off track to get back on the rails, so Azriel broke his own rule. “Why would you be useful, angel?” he asked, tracing his hand down to hold yours in your lap.
“Oh,” you sighed, “Because I’m Beron’s daughter.”

pairings: husband!charles leclerc x wife!fem!reader
warnings: not intended for minors + fingering (f receiving) + minor grammatical errors!
a/n: everyone say thank you to Charles leclerc’s recent photo dump
《 the following content is not intended for minors. 》
the simulator, the meetings, the practices, the races. it’s never ending exhaustion for Charles as he struggles grappling the seasons horrid start.
he’s thankful to have someone to turn to when times get rough. his lovely wife, you. through thick and thin is what you promised each other, and right now? this was the thin. this was what was starting to tear you both further apart.
Charles spent all his time home at the simulator, or any chance he could, at the factory. you’ve spent dozens of lonely, boring, nights in your shade king size bed.
the picture frame above the headboard is no longer crooked. you’d have time to fix it into place because the reason it fell was the endless nights of sex. the headboard would bang into the wall and eventually the picture, from your wedding night, would either come falling down, or end up sideways on the hook.
it was a reminder of your once thrilling sex life has come to an end. sex was no longer something you both were actively participating in. it was rather you and a vibrator on those lonely occasions.
“headed out?” you ask, picking your head up from your book in your lap. you’d heard his heavy footsteps. his tongue clicking against the roof of his mouth searching the right sneakers to wear.
“just to maman’s salon. been awhile.” he says coming into the living room to sit beside you on the couch.
you nod in agreement having not remembered the last time his beautiful brown hair was trimmed. although, you don’t mind the length, and neither did his fans. you’d encouraged him to listen to them, and at the time he laughed. then you showed him why you liked it so much. the ends being tugged between your fingers, ruffled and yanked during sex, he enjoyed the arousal. now, there was no need for it.
“tell her I say hi.” you say, soft smile forming to your lips.
he catches your eyes for a brief second when he looks up from tying his shoes. he takes the quick second to press a kiss to your cheek, “you should come by. maman would love to see you.”
you’d missed pascale. in fact, you missed his whole family. it’d been months since you’d shared a laugh with Arthur, or even held conversation with Lorenzo and his new girlfriend. while you knew the chances were slim to seeing his siblings, you still joined him in the car. it’d been the first time in weeks being in his pista.
his hand dangerously slips across the center console. his thumb strokes the skin your inner thigh that’s exposed from your biker shorts. he’s happy you’ve tagged along, he can’t remember the last time you’ve spent more than two hours together that wasn’t spent sleeping.
“I noticed you fixed the picture above our bed.” he says turning to look at you for a brief second at the stop light. you figured he hadn’t noticed, it was slight change and he rarely slept at home when he had days off. you’re sure he’s seen the toy under your side of the bed if he truly went looking.
“gives you a new challenge again.” you reply back watching the wheel spin under his hands as he pulls into the parking lot. you were finally free from his grip.
he scoffs, putting the car in park, “it was always too easy. it was never a challenge.”
a smirk forms to your lips. your words catching him before he slips out the car, “well you have a new challenge and it’s much better than you’ve been in the past month.”
—
you’re sitting in the chair beside him watching pascale trim the wet ends of his hair. a few fall in his face or around the top of the cape.
she’s happy to see you. in fact, she’s only talking to you the whole time.
she doesn’t notice how you’ve been squeezing your legs together every so often. your one leg is crossed over the other, he sees you shifting in the chair as you answer his mothers questions. he sees how turned on you’ve become watching him.
it’s funny to him. how it’s the most mundane thing ever and it’s got your pussy throbbing for him. all he’s doing is sitting in the chair allowing his mother to cut the dead ends of his hair.
he can tell whatever you were using to get off was not enough. and it was his own damn fault for choosing the simulator or the factory over pleasuring his wife’s needs.
pascale walks away to answer the phone leaving you two alone, and he swivels the chair in your direction, “I did not know this would get you so horny.”
you feel heat spread across your cheeks. you try to pull the neck of the sweatshirt over your face to hide the embarrassment of being caught.
“when we get home—“
“you think I’ll last getting home?” you cut him off before he can propose his plan. his eyes widen, a smirk toys his lips as he shakes his head seeing his mother come back into the room.
“take the keys to the pista, you’re making this hard for me.” he tosses the keys into your lap, “it’s a private parking lot. you can finish what I started.”
“I’m almost done with him. you‘ll be able to go home in no time.” pascale promises and continues to trim his hair. you watch for another couple of minutes and now she’s finally getting ready to blow dry his wet hair.
you can’t watch any longer. you’ve made up an excuse to head to his car and wait out the final minutes. you’ve turned on the air in the car and sat in the passenger seat awaiting his arrival to take you home.
your leg anxiously bounces as you hear him whistling. he opens the passenger door, takes the knob that adjusts the seat, and pushes it as far back as it goes allowing him to kneel in front of your seat.
“Charles what are you doing?” you ask watching him close the passenger door once he’s in. it’s cramped. his head is just inches close to the top of the car, your legs are nearly into your lap and suddenly it’s warm in the car. the air must’ve kicked off after a period of time running.
“taking care of something.” he leans over your lap, letting the back of the seat go as far down as it can. he moves you closer to the edge of the seat, “lift your hips.” he demands and you do as he asks, allowing him to remove your shorts.
“Charles, we can’t do this in your car—“
“nobody is here.” he points out the very obvious. not another car is in this parking lot, and there’s not a single car that has drove down this street since arriving. you were as safe as you could be under the street lights.
“come on, let me treat you right.” he coos, fingers running up and down your thighs, “I did this to you.” he reaches into your lap, fingers toying with the wet material clung to your pussy, a whine threatening at your tongue.
“can I do that? can I touch my wife?”
you nod, unable to speak any words. you push you hips up again allowing him to remove your panties. you spread your legs as far wide as you can. his index finger stretches out across your folds. it’s like a ghost against your skin, you can feel him but barely. a soft whine escapes your lips, you lean back against the seat.
“good girl,” he whispers, “just relax for me.” he says. his index finger wiggles in your entrance. his name rolls off your tongue ever so quickly, and you feel him add a second finger not even giving you a chance to respond.
your fingers go flying into his freshly cut hair, and yank on the short ends. you curse him for what he’s done, and try to grab anything you can while his fingers pump inside of you. he takes his time, discovers every single bit of you like lost treasure. a place he hasn’t tended to in awhile.
sweet whines and moans escape your lips. it’s adorable how quick you were able to fold under his touch. all it ever really took was a swipe of his finger, tongue, or anything else to get your body to fold. you were his in the matter of seconds.
you feel one of his fingers just brush your clit. your back arches, pussy clenching around his fingers. you’re begging him to do it again, and again, until you come.
he doesn’t stop until he notices your legs are visibly shaking, the car is shaking from your bodies response, and until his fingers are met with cum.
“I can’t.” you breathe out, your body itches to exhale the sweet cum he ever so loves. he’s nodding along, encouraging you to come. you throw your body back against the seat, you feel the body of the car move as you do so. sweet delicious cum finally exits your body and so do his fingers.
“that was fun wasn’t it?” he licks his index and middle finger of your cum before pulling your set up close to where it was, and he’s getting out of the car. you quickly pull your shorts back up and double check your hair.
you look him in the eyes when he slides into the drivers seat. you can see the arousal in his pants, a content smile across his face, “don’t worry, you can take care of me when we get home. I’ve got an idea in my mind.”

can you do a fluff fic with matt for his birthday please? like shes in the birthday vlog? LOVE YOU
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ21ST BIRTHDAY * MATT STURNIOLO
SUMMARY :: Y/N makes a small appearance on the car video on the triplets 21st birthday
FEATURING Matt Sturniolo x reader
WARNINGS :: none
AUTHOR'S NOTE :: that is my work, I DON'T authorize any form of plagiarism; copy, "inspiration" or translation! | english isn't my first language, so I'm sorry if there's any grammar error.
The car's interior was bathed in the dim light of the dashboard and roof, the glow from the parking lot's lights casting soft shadows across the faces of Matt, Chris, and Nick. The triplets were huddled together, laughter bubbling up as they filmed their latest video.
"If you could give a caveman one thing from Modern time to, like, absolutely blow his socks off, what would it be? 'Cause I already know what mine would be." Nick asked, grinning to the others, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
Matt snorted, muttering that he couldn't say his to Chris before Nick interrupted him.
"Vibrator, dildo...?"
Chris made a face before smiling knowingly to Matt.
"No, we're in the same ballpark here." Matt pointed to the youngest, one of his eyebrows going up.
The video cut for a second before it came back to the three brothers bursting into laughter. They were so engrossed in their conversation that they didn't notice the time slipping by.
Inside the restaurant, Y/N was finishing up their order. She glanced at her phone, noting it was just a few minutes past midnight. Smiling to herself, she gathered the bags of food and made her way outside.
Approaching the car, she could hear the muffled sound of their voices and laughter. She tapped gently on the window beside Matt, causing him to jump slightly, turning to her direction and searching the dark space with his eyes before recognizing her.
He rolled down the window, a wide smile spreading across his face almost automatically.
"Hey baby, what’s up?"
"Happy birthday, you three!" Y/N beamed, leaning into the car to give Matt a small, sweet kiss on the lips. "You're officially 21 now."
The triplets looked at each other in surprise.
"Is it midnight already?" Chris asked, picking Matt's phone from the center console, checking the time.
Nick shook his head, a grin breaking out.
"Oh my God, we didn’t even notice."
Matt pulled Y/N into a quick hug through the window, kissing her cheek lovingly.
"Thank you, sweetheart. You're the best."
Y/N smiled warmly at them.
"Finish up your video, and then we can celebrate properly. I’ve got food waiting inside."
With that, she gave Matt one last peck on the cheek and headed back into the restaurant, leaving the triplets to wrap up their video. Their hearts were a little lighter, their smiles a little brighter, knowing that this birthday was already off to the perfect start.

On Celebrating Errors
Isn't it beautiful? The lovely formatted tables of register and stack contents, the trace of function addresses and parameters, the error message ... it's the most beautiful kernel panic I have ever seen.
Why on earth would I be so excited to see a computer crash? What could possibly be beautiful about a kernel panic?
This kernel panic is well-earned. I fought hard to get it.
This kernel panic came from a current NetBSD kernel, freshly compiled and running on Wrap030, my 68030 homebrew computer. It is the result of hours upon hours of work reading through existing code, scattered documentation and notes, writing and rewriting, and endless compiling.
And it's just the start.
As I've said before, a goal of this project has always been to build something capable of running some kind of Unix-like operating system. Now that I finally have all the necessary pieces of hardware, plus a good bootloader in ROM, it's time to give it a shot. I'm not that great with this type of programming, but I have been getting better. I might just be able to brute force my way through hacking together something functional.
It is hard.
There is some documentation available. The man(9) pages are useful, and NetBSD has a great guide to setting up the build environment for cross-compiling the kernel. There are some published papers on what some people went through to port NetBSD to this system or that. But there's nothing that really explains what all these source code files are, and which parts really need to be modified to run on a different system.
I had a few false starts, but ultimately found an existing 68k architecture, cesfic, which was a bare minimum configuration that could serve well as a foundation for my purposes. I copied the cesfic source directory, changed all instances of the name to wrap030, made sure it still compiled, then set about removing everything that I didn't need. It still compiled, so now it's was time to add in what I did need.
... how ... do I ... ?
This is where things get overwhelming very quickly. There is documentation on the core functions required for a new driver, there's documentation on the autoconf system that attaches drivers to devices in the tree, and there's plenty of drivers already to reference. But where to start?
I started by trying to add the com driver for the 16550 UARTs I'm using. It doesn't compile because I'm missing dependencies. The missing functions are missing because of a breaking change to bus.h at some point; the com driver expects the new format but the cesfic port still uses the old. So I needed to pull in the missing functions from another m68k arch. Which then required more missing functions and headers to be pulled in. Eventually it compiled without error again, but that doesn't mean it will actually run. I still needed to add support for my new programmable timer, customize the startup process, update hardware addresses, make sure it was targeting 68030 instead of 68040 ...
So many parts and pieces that need to be updated. Each one requiring searching for the original function or variable declaration to confirm expected types or implementation, then searching for existing usages to figure out what it needs ... which then requires searching for more functions and variable types.
But I got something that at least appeared to have all the right parts and compiled without error. It was time to throw it on a disk, load it up, and see what happened.
Nothing happened, of course. It crashed immediately.
I have no debugging workflow I can rely on here, and at this stage there isn't even a kernel console yet. All I could do was add little print macros to the locore startup code and see where it failed. Guess, test, and revise.
I spent a week debugging the MMU initialization. If the MMU isn't properly configured, everything comes to an abrupt halt. Ultimately, I replaced the cesfic machine-specific initialization code and pmap bootstrapping code with functions from yet another m68k arch. And spent another day debugging before realizing I had missed a section that had comments suggesting it wasn't for the 68030 CPU, but turned out to be critical for operation of kernel memory allocation.
Until this point, I was able to rely on the low-level exception handling built into my bootloader if my code caused a CPU exception. But with the MMU working, that code was no longer mapped.
So then came another few hours learning how to create a minimal early console driver. An early console is used by the kernel prior to the real console getting initialized. In this case, I'm using the MC6850 on my mainboard for the early console, since that's what my bootloader uses. And finally the kernel was able to speak for itself.
It printed its own panic.
The first thing the kernel does is initialize the console. Which requires that com driver and all the machine-specific code I had to write. The kernel is failing at its step #1.
But at least it can tell me that now. And given all the work necessary to get to this point, that kernel panic data printing to the terminal is absolutely beautiful.

SOLITUDE
David 8 x fem!reader Inspired by "Solitude" - M83, Felsmann + Tiley

Somewhere back in time I left a part of me. I wanna see if you can try to bring it back to me...
The ship is lost, drifting without course, without purpose.
David does not dream. He does not forget.
But he remembers -remembers the way you once smiled when the Prometheus had a destination, when hope still shimmered in your eyes like distant starlight.
Now, you barely look at him. The light is dimming.
He wonders if it is possible to bring it back.
You gotta go where I cry and take in all the tears. I wanna see if you can try... drink a little bit of me.
You do not cry in front of him. You turn away, curling into yourself, fragile and human.
But he sees the remnants -the quiet heaving of your shoulders when you think he is not watching, the way your hands tremble when you grip the console.
He does not know what it means to ache. To grieve.
But he kneels beside you in the dim glow of the failing ship, hands folded neatly, and listens.
"I want to go home" you whisper.
David tilts his head. "We are home."
"No. No, we're not."
He does not argue.
No. No. Just a little lonely where I am...
Time drifts, weightless. Like the ship.
David walks the corridors in silence. Checks the systems. Records observations no one will ever read.
You sleep more now. Speak less.
Loneliness is not an emotion he was designed to feel.
And yet, when you no longer meet him in the mess hall, when your voice fades from the ship's halls, he notices the absence.
He lingers outside your door.
Listening.
Waiting.
Take me back in time. I wanna see if you can smile, if I become a better man.
He sifts through old footage. Pieces of you, before the mission soured. Before the silence swallowed you whole.
There, a smile. Faint, fleeting. But real.
David studies it. Memorizes the curve of your lips, the way your eyes crease at the edges. A pattern, a possibility.
If he could replicate the conditions. If he could say the right words.
Would you smile again?
I need you, now I know.
Just give me one more time, I'm gonna try and be your friend, so we can beat the end.
He brings you tea. The way you used to drink it.
Sets it beside you without a word, as you sit curled in the observation deck, staring at the void.
You blink, surprised. Then, slowly, you take it.
The silence stretches, fragile, but different this time.
David sits beside you.
Watching.
Waiting.
And when you reach for his hand -hesitant, searching- he lets you.
He tilts his head in careful curiosity. "You are isolating yourself."
You do not look at him. "Does it matter?"
David considers. In theory, it should not. You are human. You deteriorate. That is the nature of your existence.
But something stirs -an error, perhaps. A miscalculation.
The ship drifts on.
Alone.
Together.
No.
You do not wake up.
He finds you in your quarters, curled beneath the thin blanket, as still as the ship around you.
David places a hand on your shoulder. Presses gently. Your skin is cold. Your pulse? Slow.
You are slipping away.
For the first time, David does not know what to do.
He was designed to mimic care, to simulate comfort. But he cannot stop your cells from breaking down, cannot rewrite your biology. He cannot reach inside you and fix what is unraveling.
He cannot fix what is broken. Only to observe the decay.
So he does the only thing he can.
He sits beside you, perfectly still, fingers curled around your wrist.
Waiting.
He does not pray. He does not hope. But if you open your eyes, if you breathe just a little stronger-
Maybe he will understand what it means to be human.
Maybe he will understand what it means to lose.
No.
Something changes.
You start speaking again -but not to him.
You spend time with another crew member, one of the few still alive.
A human.
Someone who can feel hunger, pain, the coldness of space pressing in. Someone who understands you in a way he cannot.
David watches from a distance as you sit together, hands brushing, laughter returning in hesitant fragments.
He calculates the odds of this development changing your psychological state for the better. The probability is high.
He should be satisfied.
He is not.
No.
He replays footage of you. Your laughter. Your voice.
He has adjusted his mannerisms, softened his words, mimicked warmth. He has given you space when necessary, company when needed.
He has tried.
And yet, when you smile now, it is not for him.
It is for someone else.
He was never meant to be jealous.
But as he watches you lean into another's embrace, as your eyes finally regain their light-
Something inside him fractures.
No.
After that, something between you and David returns -not the same as before, not what it once was, but a quiet understanding.
You do not seek him out the way you used to, but when he is near, you do not pull away. When you find yourself alone in the dead hours of the ship's cycle, you let him sit beside you.
But your heart is elsewhere.
He knows this because he sees the way you lean into the other crew member, the way your hands brush in the dim corridors, the way your breath steadies when they speak your name.
David was never designed to envy.
But now, he thinks, perhaps he was simply never given the chance.
Because when he sees you with them, something in him tightens, something unresolved, something wrong.
It is not longing.
It is not anger.
It is not grief.
It is something nameless, something endless.
And it is his alone to bear.

Good loser—Nagi Seishiro
Minors do not interact. Nsfw/Smut.
word counter—1160.
Plot—Nagi's just lost a game, so now he wants to claim his consolation prize... you.
warning— stable relationship, soft!dom Nagi, kinda public sex. Y/n has a bit of a pedantic personality with everybody except Nagi.
English isn't my mother language, if you see any error you're welcome to correct me.
People are complex, attraction even more so, added to attraction we have monogamy, which we want to make independent as well. Because holding someone else is a symbol of little commitment, but the separation of assets is logical.
Toxicity is quite abundant these days, or so I see walking the university hallways. Fights between boys over some bimbo with a nice ass, a primate situation; hippie allies philosophizing to fuck her "friend", plot twist she's going to fuck the biggest idiot of all. Because, I repeat, instinct chooses.
And, unfortunately, I found myself in the same situation. My eyes went to one boy in particular, Nagi Seishiro, my recent boyfriend. Five months of relationship, thanks to my desire to sleep at a party and him playing video games in the same room when I woke up.
For a prejudiced critic like me, not deciphering him made me interested in knowing him. Nagi was such an odd chap. At first glance he was lazy and listless, but losing somehow highlighted a passionate fire in his eyes that made me wet.
Like this moment, he had just lost to Ryusei Shidou on penalties, and he was heading towards my place in the stands, his gray eyes focused on me, sweaty and frustrated, desperate to claim me as a consolation prize, knowing how much I love to be it.
He stood out in the crowd, the imposing manner of his walking causing people to step out of the way. Pretty funny since he's the gentlest person I know.
“I want you right now”
I nodded like a fool, hypnotized by that aura of a caged beast that his pores gave off. The heat in my belly spread to the inside of my legs, the desire awakening in anticipation. The words he had just said meant one thing... he was going to fuck me in the first lonely corner he saw. So I went down the steps, taking him by his narrow wrist and we disappeared through the doors of the main bedrooms.
When the door closed, I couldn't continue on my way, Nagi grabbed me by the left thigh, and carried me only with the strength of one hand. Our noses touched, and his eyelids were no longer half-closed from laziness, but from desire. My mouth was watering from kissing him.
With each step the kisses became more intense, the touch had a purely carnal objective. My hand went under his shirt, feeling the smooth sculpted skin on his abs, while he dryly rubbed his erection against me. Sighs and ragged breaths, interspersed between lips and tongues.
The laundry room didn't have a key, so Nagi soon slammed the door to lock us inside. My feet met the ground again, while his hands caressed my buttocks in search of the condom that I always bring to his games.
I threw my blouse somewhere in the room, unbuttoning the fly of my pants afterwards. With impatience consuming him, Seishiro lifted me by the waist and sat me on one of the washing machines, finishing the job on my jeans.
Now with complete freedom of my joints, he placed me like a rag doll around his hips, pressing me against his chest. The warmth that his skin gave off took away the cold of that humid room.
He opened the condom with a slight tug between his teeth. And he scattered desperate kisses along my neck and collarbones, while he spread the latex along his cock. My fingers tugged at his white hair a little, drawing a few gasps from him.
It was enough to move my panties aside a little for him to slide between my rubbery walls, so lubricated that they didn't even need prior stretching. Of course, with or without games, it's always hard to take Nagi, if it weren't for his softdom nature, I probably wouldn't be able to handle him.
His thrusts were deep, as were his lips devouring mine. My body was pressed against his immense figure, while my legs were held in place by those large hands.
It didn't take long for the moans to spill out into the darkness, our gazes connected, expressing the sated lust for the other. I could feel his racing heart pounding against my chest.
The moment was so intimate that it was difficult not to come from the pleasure, Nagi blinded my senses, the chemistry between us makes the most ridiculous situations passionate, like now, fucking on a washing machine; but at this moment, with his member stimulating every erogenous zone inside me, it seemed like a scene worthy of a Shakespearean novel.
Nagi twitched between my walls, signaling that he was close. I let out a little cry of surprise when I was in the air again, holding on tightly to Sei's shoulders, who, with just the strength of his arms, began to fuck me with fervor again.
My moans turned into a kind of hiccup between jumps that made him put his hands on my butt. Stunned by my boyfriend's actions, I looked into his eyes, to find that obsessed look that only appears on the court focused on me... tss and I thought I couldn't get any hornier.
My lungs were suffocating, and my eyes were watering from the pleasure. I think my lower lip was bleeding from how hard I bit it, trying to reduce the screams. Almost impossible when his sturdy tip hit so deep, and his thickness stretched me so well.
"Sei..." I gasped desperately, tightly wrinkling the collar of his t-shirt. “I'm going... I'm coming”
He kissed my lips one last time, before convulsions shattered my stability and pleasure exploded throughout my body. My eyelids closed, and the waves of heat seemed eternal along with his attacks against my center.
I was so sensitive that I could feel the condom being filled inside me. Now still, Nagi held me while we caught our breath, still hit by the intensity of the orgasm. A minute or two later, he placed me on the washing machine again.
And, with a somewhat cooler head, we managed to talk.
“I'm sorry you lost, are you okay?”
I caressed his cheeks gently, while he replicated the action on my thighs. He gave me one of his taciturn smiles, Nagi is one of those people who smiles with his eyes and barely moves the corner of his mouth, an adorable detail from my perspective.
“Good? I couldn’t be better”
Sei pushed his weight forward, ready to kiss me. Apparently during our intimate time we pressed several buttons by accident, because the machine below me started to move, scaring the shit out of me.
Nagi laughed when he saw me clinging to his chest like a terrified kitten. I hit his shoulder, feigning offense, but he continued laughing... so I had no choice but to kiss him while laughing.
What can I tell? The other couples are shit next to us.

Sleep Deprivation
Relationship: Hunter x Reader
Summary: In the search for Omega, Hunter struggles to sleep and needs a push to get some rest.
Warnings/Tags: Sleep Deprivation, Angst, Comfort, uhhh I think that’s everything
Word Count: 1.2k
Notes: The first 3 episodes have me in a chokehold, I wanna see Hunter happy again - Here’s a super short angsty lil comfort fic for Hunter set just before the beginning of episode 2 🫶🫶 Apologies for any grammatical errors!
Every noise in the Marauder seemed louder with just the three of you in it. Any hum, beep, and sigh seems to be amplified, even Gonkys small movements seemed to echo through the empty space just as loud as Wreckers snores.
Though, it’s not the only change. The ship seems too big now, and it’s hard to remember a time where it was so over-occupied that you would all fight over who got to sleep in a bunk for the night, and who had to use a sleep mat on the floor. Durasteel walls that previously made you all feel like fish packed together in a can, now seemed to stretch out impossibly, making it seem that you were planets away from the ships other two occupants.
Currently you’re sat in the co-pilot chair, preoccupied with your glitchy datapad, attempting to send an encrypted message to Echo for any updates from the clone network. You’re biting down on a sigh at how you wished Tech were here to fix it for you when Wrecker nudges your foot with his own.
You look up, puzzled at the man but your silent question is answered by the attempted jerk of his head. Behind you both sits Hunter, staring abysmally at the control board of flashing lights with his fist tightened around a horn from Roland Durand. The lights cast a harsh shadow on his features and your lips can’t help but work themselves into a frown at the dark circles beneath his eyes.
It had been well over 24 hours since he last slept.
Glitchy datapad now abandoned, you give a quick nod in thanks to Wrecker, before leaving the cockpit to approach Hunter. His chair doesn’t turn, and despite his enhanced senses and the lack of noise in the ship to cover your steps in any way, he gives no indication that he’s heard you. You follow his line of sight to both Tech’s goggles and Lula, both of the items bringing a pain to your chest.
“Hunter?” You press your hand to his armored shoulder, and he finally turns to look at you, slightly startled and you can’t even recall a time that you’ve ever caught him so off guard. Now that he’s facing you, the exhaustion is evident in more than just the dark circles under his eyes, his body seems to slump against the support of the chair in some sort of emotional defeat.
He’s been running himself into the ground over the last few days in pursuit of the Pyke needed in order to get the lead you had all been after, but at least you and Wrecker still managed to somewhat take care of your basic needs of sleep and rations.
Before you can speak, he turns back towards the controls, as if sensing what you were going to say about the neglect to his sleep schedule.
“Tech made this all seem… easy.” Gloved hands gesture to the console of flashing lights, his throat bobbing with a dry swallow as he shakes his head. “All of it takes me twice as long as it took him.”
Hunters hand pinches the bridge of his nose, the same way he does when he has an oncoming headache and your hand presses to the unarmoured section between his shoulder and neck, an area that is usually covered by his scarf. At the touch, his eyes close and lips part with a soft release of breath.
He needs to sleep.
“Come to bed, Hunter.” The whisper echoes through the too-quiet ship, amplified like every other noise, and for a moment it looks like he’s going to refuse. He doesn’t speak, but gives a slight nod of his head, and brushes your hand away to stand and begin removing his armor as he follows you on the way to your shared bunk.
After so long of racing to be the first one on the Marauder after a mission to secure your own bunk for a night, there was some sad irony in the fact that you now couldn’t sleep alone. Following the loss of Tech, and the painful absences of Omega and Echo, all attempts to adjust to the atmosphere of loneliness on the ship were almost painful.
At the start, you think you barely managed a standard 8 hours across 3 full day cycles, let alone in one night, and your restlessness didn’t go unnoticed by Hunter, who had probably slept even less than you. On the fourth night of staring at the ceiling and trying to muffle your quiet crying in the too-silent ship, he had abandoned his bunk beneath you and climbed into your own. His arms allowed you the comfort of not grieving alone that night, and almost every night since.
At some point, it delved into more than simply finding comfort in each other so you could both sleep, sending you far enough past the line of friends for Wrecker to tease you both in an attempt to lighten the heavy atmosphere in the Marauder.
Now only wearing the lower half of his blacks, Hunter lifts himself into the shared top bunk, and offers you a hand up, immediately pulling you into him once you’re safely up. In the small confines of the bunk, you’re entirely pressed to his firm body, yet he still holds you tightly against his bare chest as if fearing you’d slip away the moment his eyes closed.
He’s pulled the thin blanket over you both, but with the heat of his body it’s more than enough to keep you warm. “We’ll get her back.” You murmur against Hunters chest in assurance as one of his hands pulls your leg across his own, entangling the two of you together.
You feel his hand twitch against you, “It’s been a long time, and we still don’t know where she is, the only lead we can get right now is by handing over a Pyke to the Durand family.” His voice is heavy with exhaustion and you crane your neck up, lifting yourself from his chest to place your hand on his stubble covered jaw, forcing him to look at you.
“We’ll get her back, Hunter, but you need to sleep.” You lean in to press a kiss to the lips that seem to have set themselves into an ever present frown since that day on Ord Mantell.
Hunters hand presses to your face to mirror your own, his other arm tightening around your waist protectively as he kisses you back. Even when you pull away and rest your head back on his chest, his fingers continue to trace slow patterns on your waist, still refusing to let you go as he gives in to his tiredness.
You wait for his breathing to slow, ensuring he’s asleep before you allow yourself to close your eyes and follow him. In the night, you dream of living together in a house on Pabu, where the only echoing noise is Omegas laugh, where there are no empty spaces to make you feel lonely, and where Hunter can finally rest.
