The weight of healing
sometimes healing hurts more, because it shows you clearly who you were when you hurt people who didn’t deserve it. and you remember their faces, the way their voices changed, the way they started guarding themselves around you. you remember the things you said, the things you can’t take back.
and the guilt isn’t loud, it’s quiet. it follows you into better days. because you know now. and knowing is the weight. not to punish you, but to make sure you never become that version of yourself again.

The Final Judgment
"People believe that on Judgment Day, we stand face to face with God, with the Creator, with the Supreme Source. But I don’t believe that. In the end, I believe we stand face to face with ourselves. We question, we interrogate, we demand explanations. We laugh, we cry. And finally, we understand that life was meant to be lived as we wished, as we desired, with mastery. In that moment, sitting before ourselves, the only question that truly matters is: 'Did you live your life the way you wanted to?'"

When I look in the mirror now, I see, not just my body. I see the hard work i put in almost every day in the gym, I see the discipline I apply at home in the kitchen and my lifestyle. I see the sacrifices I make for the life and health I want. I see how much more I've come to learn about myself, how disciplined I can be, how much I really can apply myself when I really want something, a goal. I see dedication even on days where I've felt like not going. I see more motivation. I see strength I did not have before. I see a new level of confidence in myself and my abilities. So yes I'm feeling myself! I'm proud of myself and the things I've come to further realize about myself. Applying this mentality to other areas of my life will bring success in those areas as well and that's something to always wanna look in the mirror and see. Most of all, I see awoman, a person, a soul who overcame low self esteem, alot ot negative self talk, and has embraced selfconfidence, self love, self accountability and the value of hard work and all the struggles with it. 😀👸❤ @staywild_befree #progressoverperfection #SelfLove #selfacceptance #selfaccountability #selfconfidence #fitness #healthyliving #lifestyle #mindset #mindbodysoul

Missions of 2016:
- grow that booty 🍑 - eat more, and eat better - compete in a weightlifting competition - graduate - journal my internal thoughts - more cardio But most importantly: - keep on doing me, and don't let anyone else get in the way of what makes me happy. Anyone worth having in my life will be supportive of me and my dreams. I've already started doing this, but I've still got so much more self discovery, so much more self loving to do. 2016: let's do this.

About to make this so simple. You’re sad because you choose to be, you’re happy because you choose to be. Fuck all that victim shit, cry it out, work it out, laugh it out, and move fucking forward. You’re worth too much to others that need you at your best so they can be the best version of themselves. #bxbperformance #motivational #inspirational #selfresponsibility #selfaccountability #reminder https://www.instagram.com/p/CMnWw-xMVMm/?igshid=bypclowo0w3u

It’s All Your Fault

If someone tells you it’s all your fault, it is very likely you will get on the defensive, at least to some extent. It’s so much easier to cast blame than accept responsibility. I’d go as far as to say it is the typical American way. There’s a reverse though, because in today’s world, even positive things can get a negative light shined upon them. Like taking the high road and/or self discovery is a bad thing. Thing is, you’re never gonna please everyone ever, Combining that with self accountability, while still having empathy for those in a bad place in their lives really is key. Self care and selfless behavior can co-exist, but the only way it truly does is to be honest with yourself.
Saying no is hard to people but being a people pleaser is a real problem. It leads to the following...
I said no to my dreams and aspirations. I said no to leaving my apartment in favor or owning a place, although I still question to this day if it is smart or not to even do that. I said no to saving money. I said no to real life interactions many times over. I said no to my personal professional growth. I said no to doing what it took to simply pursue other options at a place of work, when I knew my days were numbered. I said no to therapy for months after my file got “lost” with my first therapist. I said no to getting myself out of a rut during unemployment times as quickly as I could have. A friend once said to me something along the lines of “don’t confuse determination for stubbornness” and it couldn’t have been more accurate in regards to my past. For a long time, I’ve said no to my future and I’ve only recently said no, one more time, to just that. No more holding back for anyone or anything. I chose my path then. I'm choosing another now.
Before anyone potentially gets the wrong idea let me be 100% clear. Details on anything referenced here is a separate topic but also, ultimately matters not. Regardless of whatever happens, only one person makes the final decision and decides how to deal. You. Is it the controller’s fault you can’t beat a game? Sure isn’t. It is social media’s fault that you’re miserable. Nope. It is merely a tool that now exposes people easier than ever but we rather blame that than fix our own internal struggles. If social media is so bad, delete it. It CAN be used for good but that is YOUR choice. There are unfortunate events out there that you can’t control and are genuinely not your fault, but they are few and far between. Here’s a big one. Your business is failing? Your fault. Blame it on the employees if it makes you feel better but guess who hired ‘em? You. Lots of workplaces in today’s world need to understand that a remember where they came from, have self-accountability, and stop taking it our on their “subordinates”. Also, that is a terrible word to use to refer to your employees. They are people too. Not tools.
We all want to do the right thing. The right thing is staying true to you while still being empathetic. What one would simply refer to as being a “decent human being”, which really isn’t that hard. It’s finding the balance of selfish and selfless that is the hard part. Guess who striking that balance is up to? We’re getting the picture now I hope.
What I’m stating is common sense and yet so many of us have it twisted. In Dark Souls III, when you extinguish the flame for good, you did “the right thing”, sure, but the flames will rise again and the cycle repeats itself. It’s a vicious cycle, however. Imagine this as a metaphor for your own life. In a game you can feel accomplished even with this being the case, because you did the thing. In real life, would you really want to keep doing the same thing, getting the same results, and finding ways to complain about it after though? Congrats you’ve hit insanity and in a worst case scenario are on the path to go hollow. Don’t you dare go hollow. If you’re reading this and struggling, I’ll listen. I’m not a therapist however, Please get help. You deserve it.
It sux, I know. We all know. We’ve all been there. But it is time to get out and break the cycle for yourself, whatever vicious cycle it may be. You don’t truly live until you do. All of the following doesn’t matter.
- Who or What hurt you
- Where you went to get a job just for them to fire you (because reasons) for always being a reliable employee
- When you decided to not take a job opportunity or take a chance on yourself
- Why your health/mental state holds you back.
YOU make a choice daily to stay and deal. Own your stigma. It doesn’t have to define you. Push forward and use not your status as a crutch.
When you hold yourself accountable you are in control. The freedom that comes with that is very eye opening and a huge weight gets lifted. Tell your daily life lived in some sort of fear and/or judgment from others to go back whence it came. The angry mob at the beginning of Bloodborne had it right...
It’s all your fault.

Dropping Legality: The Simplest Guiding Principle.
Law-enforcement and the regulatory system arise from a lack of self-accountability. When we confront ourselves fully, then we will no longer run from responsibility. When we are no longer running, then we will stand autonomously without the need for a structure of dominance. However, we must be careful to avoid the reapplication of tyranny, oligarchic oppression, or extreme egotism. Instead, we must allow governance to be equally disseminated to all people. For this to work, we must all operate from the same guiding principle. To prevent this from devolving into a new version of convoluted legality, we must apply Occam's Razor. So, with the structure of simplicity, let us have one guiding principle: loving-kindness.
