What's going on in that background?? Featuring: floating Minecraft dog, Nori(heart) and HL2 fast zombie in a tree, upset HL2 citizen, random dead guy and Khan running with the railgun, N hanging off floating debris and Uzi trying to help him. (none are posed in detail so they're VERY awkward lookin)

Neve's signature teal color in Vietnamese (Thanh) is the adjective for many words that imo is very Neve.

Thanh bạch: literal translation is teal and white (Neve's color palette), means 'pure'

Thanh long - teal/green dragon *looking at the shadow dragons*. In fengshui terms, it is a protector.

Thanh tra: investigate/inspect

Thanh minh: clarify/make sense of unknown/mystery (ex: clearing someone's name for being accused of a crime they didn't commit)

Thanh liêm: fair and incorruptible

Thanh tâm: pure mind/conscience. A loving heart.

Thanh danh: good reputation

Thanh lịch: elegant

Thanh tao: gracious

Thanh cao: literally means 'noble'. I know Neve isn't an Altus mage but I feel like this can be referred to how Neve carries herself in a sense that she won't let anyone step over her. Also, the cunty way she walks lol

Thanh toán: literally means 'clearing the math', underground mob boss slang term for "taking care of matters". Works great for the Threads Boss route. Casual meaning is just paying the bill (Northern Vietnamese, Southern Vietnamese use tính tiền 'calculate the money')

Thanh trừ: cleanse/eliminate (the Venatori). Along this line can also be thanh lọc (purify).

After a list of words you can kinda guess what thanh means— pure. In terms of colors, the word by itself can mean blue or green (can be used interchangeably).

Other people were saying CAW CAW and other bird pet ideas in the comments and I even saw forum threads about it over the past few weeks.

Then finally Devshorts 47 arrived and I was up early enough to feel like an absolute menace, spamming twitch & youtube chat in various ways and wordings to avoid the spam detection filters about BIRD COMPANIONS. funny thing is I don't really have any interest in hoarding knowledge or resources for myself in any way, I'm just bad at publishing stuff because I feel like that'd require a bit more stringent quality control than what I might expect of something made largely for my own use.

sometimes I think maybe I should set up something like a google drive or a git or something to just throw my personal- and work-in-progress stuff for people who are interested, but I dunno what limits for space or bandwidth or anything are like.

like I'm sure some people would possibly find the ColorSet unpacker python script useful?? It kinda sucks through and I want to make a better version of it and maybe one that could work as a standalone executable instead? and possibly a packer counterpart to the unpacker?? But also I keep thinking like "would this even be useful to anyone lmao??"

in theory you could probably make some kind of art program plugin that does all of this for you - even the bit with loading actual colorset information into layered colorset pairs, but I mean that's a lot of effort and I still largely use a 20+ year old version of Paint Shop Pro myself so...

One of the things that gets me about the 'Vilgax possessed Kevin to build the Antitrix' theory (and it is a theory at best, the closest thing we have to evidence is his claiming Kevin was a 'vessel' with which to build it, but that can just as easily be read as 'I tossed the blueprints at you so you'd build it and it'd be ready when I got back', and the latter would make a lot more sense given if he'd possessed Kevin to get it done then why fucking let him keep a hold of it? why not hide it somewhere and then kill the kid? not like he's got some moral stance against it, and it would mean less hassle getting it back) is that this isn't something we see Vilgax do. Ever. We've seen weird shit with Vilgax and dreams in OS (and given Duncan Rouleou has stated that shit was due to being bound by fragments of Vilgax's DNA in the Omnitrix if we can already assume either that shit was expanded on or that even pre-watch there was Something going on with Kevin), but at no point are we ever given any indication that he can fucking possess people (which you'd think would have been utilized at some point before).

Like, the 'Vilgax either purposefully provided Kevin with the blueprints through a dream so that it could be premade when he returned or accidentally provided the blueprints while for some reason fucking around in fuckers' heads and was saving face when somebody actually managed to build it by claiming it was on purpose' theory requires us to believe that Vilgax utilized a power other versions of him have already been shown to have to, on purpose or not, provide the blueprints he had already for the Antitrix to Kevin- who we see in the sequel series is a skilled mechanic and engineer and are shown during the reboot was already doing engineering as a child and regularly continued working on, fixing, and improving the Antitrix over the course of the show- who then built it.

Meanwhile the 'Vilgax possessed Kevin and built the Antitrix himself' theory requires us to believe that Vilgax pulled out a new power, off-screen, and used it the one time to not only possess an actual child with all the material access limitations that comes with but also for some reason leaves the resulting watch with the child, opening himself up to things like the risk of him breaking it and giving himself an added hassle as far as getting his hands on the damn thing when he did get back, rather than just hiding the watch somewhere safe and offing the witness.

So yeah, I'm going with the former.
