like khaenri'ah had flourished solely as humans, without needing or wanting a god, and so celestia wiped them out and cursed the few survivors. and no one in game who knows details about it views it as good.

the tsaritsa wants to set the world free frm celestia, bc she sees how corrupt they are. and isn't it a little odd how willing all of the archons are to basically hand their gnoses over to the fatui? because they all think the same. HELL, fontaines whole quest was abt focalors tricking celestia for hundreds of yrs. even zhongli, the oldest archon and who was lit there for the cataclysm retired his archinhood... leaving liyue without a god ... just like khaenri'ah was....

like! not only do i think it wld be fair for kaeya to side with khaenri'ah just based on his personal feelings frm being from there, but also lit everything in the plot is pointing to overthrowing celestia as being The Good Outcome so its like.... come on guys...

y'know what I'm gonna be pissy for a second because I'm too frustrated by this to be able to sleep tonight so sorry for me thinking my opinions are worth publishing in their own post but I really cannot fucking stand some of the conversations I've seen about what's apparently objectively "correct" communication

like especially I've seen/taken part in several conversations about how saying "I feel like you did xyz thing" or "I feel like xyz thing happened" is somehow accusatory or otherwise wrong with one post even saying "well you wouldn't say 'i feel like happy' so 'i feel like you did xyz' can't be a feeling you're expressing ☝️🤓"

and it's like even ignoring how that can absolutely be a grammatically valid sentence if you didn't deliberately go out of your way to write it poorly to prove your argument that's also not even the fucking point of the conversation that the other person is trying to have with you???

it literally doesn't fucking matter if someone is actually expressing their feelings or if they're akshually expressing their thoughts instead or even god forbid a secret third thing. because the entire fucking point of someone saying "I feel like you did xyz" or "I feel like it happened" is exclusively to talk about their subjective fucking perspective and that's it. its not accusatory by any means unless I guess you yourself believe your thoughts and feelings are objective fact and therefore you project that assumption onto everyone else around you?? even though they're not???

like I can assure you from personal experience if I was ACTUALLY accusing someone of doing something I would simply say "you did this thing." I would not deliberately go out of my way to emphasize that it is my subjective personal perspective by emphasizing very explicitly that I only feel like a certain thing happened or whatever if I was genuinely accusing people of doing something. because not everyone on earth thinks that their thoughts and feelings are objective reality, and just because you do does not mean you get to make that everyone elses problem!!! be fucking serious!!!! and when I'm putting effort into explicitly NOT accusing you of anything and yet you insist I am anyways because??? reasons??? because the words people actually say to you don't fucking matter and you'd rather make shit up than actually listen to what they're trying to fucking tell you???

like if you genuinely feel like someone saying "I feel like you did xyz thing" is accusatory then that's fine because everyone has their own communication styles but you do NOT get to act like your communication style of... I guess not talking about your fucking problems with people at all ever and expecting them to read your mind?? is somehow conveniently the only correct communication style and everyone else is committing wrongspeak for explicitly stating what their PERSONAL, SUBJECTIVE POINT OF VIEW IS.

like at the end of the day I can tell you from personal fucking experience that your loved ones are not saying "I feel like you did xyz" to subtly accuse you of anything. they're saying that to you because they fucking love you and are trying to fix problems in your relationship so they can keep loving you. and for you to just sit here and play internet psychology chess and declare that uh oh!!! my Language Pedantry senses are tingling and you're a bad communicator now!!! is fucking ridiculous. because thats not the point of the conversation at hand and you know that it's not. the point of the conversation is that this person has a problem and they're making an earnest attempt to communicate their side of the issue to make things right. and for you to ignore that and focus on how they're expressing their feelings or whatever instead of what they're trying to express in the first place is???

do you even fucking care about the other person??? when you care more about whether it's akshually not a feeling you're expressing 🤓 akshually if you have any thoughts or feelings whatsoever that means you think they're true and you're accusing me 🤓 because I've decided you're accusing me so you are 🤓 instead of the fact that someone you care about is fucking hurt and is trying to communicate that with you???

you can feel like your loved ones are accusing you with that communication style all you want, but you don't get to declare your feelings a reality to the point where you insist that the only reason anyone would ever talk like that is ONLY because they're accusing you and NOTHING MORE. though I guess maybe your insistence that that must be accusatory language exclusively because you feel like it's accusatory to the point that you feel justified in insisitng that MUST be the other person's motive would certainly indicate why you get so antsy when other people try to express their feelings around you lol

H h h hey...! Damian mun here with another certified YAP because I keep seeing posts about this specific thing, and I need to talk about it....!!!

So. A while back, I had seen this post talking about how Talia's first punishment for Damian would be that Damian had to kill a horse. Which seemed bonkers to me because she absolutely wouldn't force Damian to do that. If you didn't know, the Al Ghuls are eco terrorists. They want to make the world better by focusing on plants & animals more than the actual people. That's just one thing btw...

Anyways, back to my yap that will sound absolutely fucking crazy in the end because it won't be written good. (This is a warning)

I saw another post talking about how Damian only finally expressed his love for animals when he started living with Bruce and that he would only know the heartbreak of an animal death when living with Bruce. Which is... not true at all. I don't think people tend to realize that Damian's compassion for animals comes from Ra's and Talia. They're the reason he's compassionate about animals and why he ends up saving Bat-Cow.

Maybe it's just me, but people seem to keep crediting Bruce ( or other bat family members ) for things that Damian has like his love of animals, artistic ability, anything to do with the arts, etc. It feels like a tad bit racist because it's like nobody can accept that Damian's non-white family members gave him those characteristics when, in fact, they did. I don't know. That's just something I've noticed.

Going more off of that, but I've also seen people argue that Ra's and Talia were against animals, the arts, and all those types of things. It just irks me so badly when people mischaracterize them like that JUST because they're not counted to be "heroes" or on the "good side." Even then, Talia is very much a grey moral character, yet they always depict her as a terrible mother, evil, etc. Ra's is counted a supervillain, yes, but that doesn't mean Talia is? Even then, it's just weird to push those kinds of stereotypes on people just because they're "bad." I never see people say stuff like, "Oh yeah, the riddler would soooo kill a puppy." I only see people say that about the Al Ghuls, and I'm so tired of it.

I saw a post today, and it was about Damian experiencing his first heartbreak over a pet death. Legit one of the first sentences read was, "Ra's would either force Damian to kill the animal or give it away." Why is it between those options, like, what! The post overall was sad because of the meaning, but I just didn't like that part. Ra's is known to be an animal lover in the comics. He has a pet wolf. I don't think he would have forced Damian to murder an animal if he so happened to sneak it inside of the league.

Maybe that's just me, but it bothers me when people say these things.

I have a platform, though, and I'm not afraid to share my thoughts on this. I've been a very big advocate against this type of mischaracterization, and I'm sorry that I do it so much. I know it may get annoying, but I feel like it needs to be expressed. 😭

Anyways, this is the first drawing that i did of Redeemed Cyn, I didn't draw her again until a few days ago, so for context, this Cyn is the one from the comic i did ("N had enough?").

I decided to do a design just like Cynessa, but not actually the same, this version of Cyn managed to gain control over the Solver, that's mainly the difference between the X eyes into the circle ones, i like to think that Cyn is actually someone really sweet, kind and cheerful like her big brother, just only that she is kinda shy (and she really feels guilty for the stuff she did, even though almost everyone already forgive her), Uzi along with Nori helped her with the new clothes, body design and stuff, she asked N if she could still look like Tessa, and N even though he was uncomfortable because of that petition he understands that, his "sister" is the one that is asking for that without any bad intentions, so he decides to support her.

That's why she has synthetic skin on her face, chest, etc.

I want to post more of my yaps on here actually. I have art I promise. I’ll probably put it below here but for now I was thinking about sons of the forest and how they did the companion/follower thing SO well.

Games where you kinda have to fuck around on your own usually have the most annoying companions because—odds are—if you spend time around them long enough—they are going to say the same. damn. things.

fallout 4 was kind of a nightmare for me after I had a certain person following me for a while (except nick valentine he was an exception I felt too bad for him to be annoyed). and usually followers don’t really do anything for you besides carry your stuff and shoot people for you. It’s very basic. or maybe JUST MAYBE they’re essential for a quest. That also might be a me thing—maybe people don’t get tired of them. I definitely had least favorite people to bring along with me.

But kelvin and virginia are probably the best companions i’ve ever seen in a game. and they both have their own unique behaviors. and also reasons why neither of them really talk (I haven’t gotten far enough into the game to know why virginia doesn’t talk—but I assume it’s a normal reason that makes sense)

Virginia follows you at a distance, hangs around when she wants, but also goes out and does her own thing. when you go on an excursion she’s kinda in your general area but she’s not up your ass. and she brings you things when you’re in one place for a while (aloe 🙏🙏🙏)

And I love that you kinda have to win over her trust over a period of time. you could totally chase her off if you wanted so she’d never bother you but I don’t know anyone who would want to do that. In a place where literally nothing is welcoming it’s nice to see a friendly face—even if she’s killing rabbits and eating them whole in front of you. she’s so mythical to me.

and kelvin of course everyone likes. and he is VERY helpful in a game with so much grinding. you can make him do the boring tasks and he takes his own breaks inbetween. sometimes he just comes up to you for things to do when he’s been on one of his breaks for too long. and after he finishes something he goes “👍” I love it thank you Kelvin. He doesn’t stray too far from the area you’re in unlike virginia which I’m thankful for because I’m so afraid of him dying. That’s kinda my only issue—if you could even call it that. I will literally reload my save and lose hours of progress if one of them dies.
