Navamsa Observations 8 - Your Future Home
One should check D1 and dasha periods for full accuracy of when and if property/homes come to the native.
This is meant to be a fun post. This is just a few observations from irl charts. Please take it as entertainment.
💗 ASC ruler's placement and mars in D1 is important to see the person's ability to be successful and accomplish their goals. Weak or debilitated ASC ruler and mars shows the person is prone to give up in the face of conflict. When these placements are weak, you will need support of others to purchase a home.
💗 Gemini influence on 4th in D9 is one indicator for a busy home life. This can manifest as living in a city or other busy area. Or it can manifest as someone who often has people visiting their home - making the home a busy area.
💗 Pisces influence on 4th in D9 indicates having an emotional connection with your home. You can desire to live off the grid as pisces can give an escapism theme. EX: You can live in the wilderness, You can live away from noise and the business of society. Or You have a space in the home that is very special to you.
ex: Mercury in Pisces 4th H in D9 - Few neighbours and the home is somewhat hidden - maybe in a forrest type area. If Jupiter is well placed, this shows a big home or land.
With Pisces’s influence you will deeply connect to your home. It becomes your escape from the world. However, from my IRL observations it doesn’t indicate a big home on its own. Rather it shows a hermit type energy to the home - somewhere hidden.
💗 Sagittarius another Jupiter ruled sign can indicate a spacious home. This can indicate doing renovations or moving at some point. Sag influence is adventurous and will attempt to expand the home in some way. If Jupiter is well placed, this shows a big home or land. You may have religious or educational items in the home too.
ex: Mercury in sag in 4th - It would be considered a big home. There are many rooms some more spacious than others. Mercury’s influence has family usually visiting and staying for days at a time. Sometimes months!
💗 If Saturn is aspecting Jupiter and related to the 4th H, this indicates a small and humble home.
Ex: Pisces 4th H - Jupiter conjunct Saturn in Gemini 9th H - You may live in an isolated location. You may have exposed wood style. The home is likely small. A small home does not equate to an ugly home.
4th House ruler and/or planets in 4th House: Mrigashira: This nakshatra is about getting away. This shows home in an isolated area. A way from the loudness and hustle of society and the city. You can live in a forest-y areas.

💗 Aries and Mars influence indicate a small home as well. They often like having a lot of open space to be active. They usually have small homes but bigger backyards.
ex: Aries sun in 4th in D9 - They have a small home that is built beautifully. They live near a park too.
Sun/Leo influence desires something grand. In this case, that manifests through the decor and design. They have a beautiful outdoor grilling area for parties. Your home will likely have a unique stand out feature w/ Leo/Sun influence - ex: House exterior is different from others on the block, Unique colour home, Unique colour door.

💗 Rahu influence on 4th in D9 can show someone who purchases foreign items for their home. Or they live in a foreign area - this doesn’t have to be a different country, it can simply be far from birth place. You may purchase or renovate the home to fit a foreign style. If rahu is aspecting a well placed Jupiter, the home will be big - especially if conjunct.
💗 Mercury influence can manifest as moving a lot too. This can be a manifestation of the busy and activity you deal in the home. If well placed and aspecting Jupiter, you may own multiple homes. This would need wealth indicators to support this.
💗 Mercury in 4th in D9 - They will have a library/study or home-office area somewhere in the home.

💗 4th H Ruler conjunct Jupiter in D9 - If unafflicted, this can indicate a big home. The 4th H Ruler should be a planet Jupiter is friendly with like Moon or Sun.
ex: 4th H Ruler Moon conjunct Jupiter - She is house hunting currently and she is looking for a huge kitchen. A perfect kitchen is what she desires most.

💗 Cancer & Taurus influence on the 4th H - These individuals usually desire a specific style kitchen. Aspects and sign can provide further insight on what style you will desire. They want the home to be comfortable. Unlike sag & aqua, they will be the least likely to try an adventurous style home. They usually want something traditional. They can be like hoarders with the amount of items they buy for the home. ex: many throw pillows, many photos up, many blankets, lots of closet & cupboard space. They usually dislike moving and will stay put for many years after settling into a home.
💗 Moon influence on 4th H - This shows a home with many sentimental items. If moon is well placed like libra or taurus, a beautiful home. Possible multiple kitchens or dining areas in the home.
ex: Cancer 4th H - Moon conjunct Sun conjunct Jupiter in Aqua. This person would have a huge and grand kitchen in their home. The kitchen may be the biggest part of the home.
💗 Libra influence on 4th H most likely to want a clean and organized area. They can have specific areas for specific things. They will strongly dislike when things are out of place. They often have a modern but traditional touches in their design and decor. You are most likely to be the type of parent telling your kids to make their bed and clean their rooms ever morning lol.
💗 Aquarius influence on 4th H - They have unique features for the home. They are most willing to renovate for them. They tend to desire home’s with features and styles that can’t be easily replicated. Ex: Farmhouse aesthetic, Futuristic aesthetic, etc. Most likely to have set up alexa or google home.
💗 Saturn influence on 4th H - This can manifest as disliking or difficulty in moving. You could refuse to consider moving or struggle to move once settled. These individuals will prioritize a house that will last. They look for something to last long-term. They can prefer traditional timeless styles. The home may be small and/or the rooms would be considered small.
Another thing I’ve observed with saturn is they often have a portico on the home - especially saturn in 8th.

💗 Venus in 11th H D9 - This can indicate either a beautiful home or/and car. It doesn’t necessarily show a specific style just that it will be expensive/luxurious. This is actually more likely if Venus is debilitated or with a malefic. However, this is not always a good indicator. It can show buying something one can’t truly afford. = debt.
💗 Jupiter in 11th D9 - This shows a desire for a big home or property. You will become the type of person who judges the beauty of the home based on size. Whether this desire is fulfilled or not depends on D1 & D9.
KEEP IN MIND:
Most people move throughout their life. Not every home they live in is the same. The traits of these signs and planets can manifest in different ways each time.

Chapter One: FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE EVERYTHING
parings: Vi x British Fem!reader
summary: you weren't expecting a roommate, not by a long shot. so when the charming violet saunted into your life you began to question - "could it ever change?"
a/n: hiihihiii darlings - here is part 1. i hope you like this new fic idea and tysm for all the love 🫶
part 2 >
~

You weren’t expecting a roommate.
The housing office had assured you that your apartment—a double suite with two separate rooms—was yours alone for the semester. It was the least they could do after the mess of last year’s living situation, when your first roommate turned out to be a raging kleptomaniac who “borrowed” your designer bags and mysteriously “forgot” to return them. After weeks of bureaucratic hell, you were finally given a new space: a modern, spacious two-bedroom apartment just off campus. It wasn’t Mayfair, but at least it wasn’t the nightmare you’d dealt with before.
You had settled in beautifully. Your room was a carefully curated sanctuary of soft creams and golds, with a king-size bed (because you refused to live like a peasant), a walk-in closet filled with your wardrobe, and a vanity that looked like it belonged in a five-star hotel. The shared space—a sleek kitchen and a tastefully decorated living room—was clean and minimalist, because you believed in aesthetic harmony. Everything was perfect.
And then she arrived.
Loud, brash, and with the audacity to exist in your space like she owned it.
Vi.
The name was short and sharp, like the person it belonged to. She strode in with a duffel bag slung over her shoulder, dressed in ripped jeans, combat boots, and a tank top that did absolutely nothing to hide the tattoos climbing up her arms. Her hair—choppy and pink—was an absolute crime against taste.
She looked around with a slow, assessing gaze, like she was sizing up a fight, before her sharp blue eyes landed on you.
“You must be the princess,” she drawled.
You stared at her. “Excuse me?”
She smirked. “Y’know. All posh. Fancy. Rich girl vibes.”
You resisted the urge to roll your eyes. “I wasn’t aware I was getting a roommate.”
She dropped her bag onto the floor with a heavy thud, kicking the door shut behind her. “Yeah, well. Neither was I. But the housing office screwed up my paperwork, so now I’m here.”
You inhaled deeply, willing yourself to stay calm. “That’s… unfortunate.”
“For you?” she asked, arching a brow.
“For both of us,” you said smoothly, turning away. “I assume you’re taking the second bedroom?”
“Dunno. Haven’t decided.” She threw herself onto the couch like she had absolutely no regard for personal space. “What if I wanna claim this room?”
You turned back to her so fast your hair nearly whipped you in the face. “This is my room.”
She grinned. “Relax, princess. Just messing with you.”
You narrowed your eyes at her.
Vi stretched her arms over the back of the couch, completely at ease, before tilting her head. “So, where you from, anyway?”
“London,” you answered coolly.
Vi let out a low whistle. “Ooooh. London,” she mimicked, dragging out the syllables in an exaggerated, awful attempt at your accent. “Posh as fuck, innit? Gonna go drink some tea with the Queen?”
Your lips parted in offense. “That’s not—”
“Ah, yes, rather splendid,” she continued, putting on the most ridiculous upper-crust accent she could manage. “Would you fancy a spot of tea, love? Maybe a crumpet or two?”
You clenched your jaw. “I don’t sound like that.”
She snorted. “You definitely sound like that.”
You crossed your arms. “Well, if we’re mocking accents—” you squared your shoulders, deepened your voice, and put on the most exaggerated, gravelly American accent you could muster—“Yo, dude, what’s up? I’m, like, totally gonna put on my ugly combat boots and, like, fight a wall for no reason.”
Vi’s smirk faltered. “I don’t sound like that.”
You smirked right back. “You definitely sound like that.”
She narrowed her eyes at you.
You lifted your chin.
A tense silence stretched between you both, neither willing to be the first to back down.
Then, to your absolute horror, Vi grinned.
“I think I’m gonna like living here,” she said, laughing as she stood up and grabbed her bag.
You groaned, rubbing your temples. It hadn’t even been five minutes, and it was already absolute hell.
You weren’t sure how long Vi had been unpacking, but the sound of thuds, zips, and the occasional clang from her room made it impossible to focus on anything else.
Your plan for the evening had been simple: enjoy a glass of wine, light a candle, and read in peace. You had been looking forward to it all day. But now, as another loud thump echoed from Vi’s room, you realized peace was no longer an option.
You sighed, pinching the bridge of your nose before calling out, “Are you moving furniture or preparing for battle?”
A muffled snort came from the other side of the wall. Then, her door swung open, and Vi leaned against the frame with that ever-present smirk. “Didn’t realize you were so interested in what I was doing, princess.”
You shot her a flat look. “I wouldn’t be if you weren’t making enough noise to wake the dead.”
Vi shrugged, pushing off the doorframe. “I’m a hands-on kinda girl. Gotta make the place feel like mine, y’know?”
You highly doubted that. If her idea of “decorating” was just throwing a duffel bag onto the floor and scattering clothes around like a feral animal, then the only thing she was hands-on with was chaos.
Still, you weren’t in the mood for another argument. Not when you were already feeling the effects of an impending headache. You exhaled slowly, forcing a polite—albeit strained—tone. “Just keep it down. Some of us actually like a little serenity.”
Vi’s lips twitched. “Right. Posh girls like you need their beauty sleep, huh?”
You leveled her with a cool gaze. “Are you always this insufferable, or am I just lucky?”
Vi grinned, clearly entertained. “Oh, princess. You have no idea.”
Before you could come up with a cutting response, she turned on her heel and disappeared back into her room, shutting the door with a loud click.
You took a deep breath and turned back to your own room, determined to ignore her existence for the rest of the night.
It didn’t last long.
At exactly 11:23 p.m., your moment of quiet was shattered by the sound of bass-heavy music blasting from Vi’s room.
You jerked upright in bed, your book falling onto your lap. Was she serious?
You threw back the covers, stormed out of your room, and marched straight to her door. Without hesitation, you knocked—hard.
Nothing.
You knocked again, louder this time. “Vi!”
Still nothing.
Oh, for God’s sake.
You grabbed the handle and swung the door open. The sight that greeted you was pure chaos.
Vi’s room looked like it had been hit by a tornado. Clothes—crumpled, unfolded, and utterly tragic—were strewn across the floor. An open duffel bag sat in the corner, half-unpacked, and her desk was already cluttered with an assortment of things: a stack of books, a few empty soda cans, and—bizarrely—what looked like brass knuckles.
And in the center of it all, Vi was sprawled across her bed, completely unbothered, hands tucked behind her head as she nodded along to the blaring music.
You stared at her in disbelief. “Are you actually this inconsiderate, or do you just enjoy making my life miserable?”
Vi blinked at you, then lazily reached over to lower the volume. “Relax, princess. It’s just a little music.”
“A little music?” you repeated, incredulous. “You’re shaking the bloody walls!”
Vi smirked, sitting up. “What, not a fan? Lemme guess—” she put on that ridiculous, exaggerated British accent again, “—Oh dear, this is simply dreadful! Where is the Mozart? The Beethoven?”
You clenched your jaw. “I swear to God—”
Vi held up her hands in mock surrender. “Alright, alright. I’ll keep it down. Don’t want you fainting from distress or whatever.”
You scowled, but she had already flopped back onto her bed, completely indifferent.
As you turned to leave, you muttered under your breath, “Unbelievable.”
Behind you, Vi chuckled. “Night, princess.”
You slammed the door on your way out.
You had survived many things in life. Snobbish high society events. Your mother’s insufferable lectures about marrying well. The horror of last year’s kleptomaniac roommate.
But this?
This might actually kill you.

Listen I'm no jutsu expert and the Naras probs can't use the Shadow Sewing Technique to do all this filth, buuuuut for the sake of the spice let's pretend they can m'kay? lol
Also this is like the third time I've ever written anything smutty so pls be gentle! Thank yooou 🫶
((P.S. just so it's stated in multiple places, Shikamaru is in his mid 20s here!))
𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐬
Word count: 2.2k
18+, Mid 20s Shikamaru, Clan Head Shikamaru, established relationship, consensual objectification, D/s dynamics, bondage, a little bit of pain play, mild overstim, inappropriate use of shadows lol
You waited in anticipation as you knelt upon the ornately embroidered cushions in the corner of Shikamaru's private office. ‘Be still,’ you reminded yourself, only moving your eyes as you cast a glance around the room in hopes of finding something to take your mind off of the heat rising between your thighs.
Shikamaru's private office was spacious, but minimalist in its aesthetic. The walls were lined with shelves housing a plethora of books, scrolls, and clan documents. When the titles of books on strategy and history didn't hold your interest, you wished Shika would let you fill the small gaps on his shelves with knick knacks. Then you'd at least have something to focus on and keep you still ‘like a good doll.’
You subtly clenched your thighs as your mind drifted back to your current situation. No, knick knacks probably wouldn't help you, and they weren't his style anyway. His office was the embodiment of function over form. Sure there were a few personal touches here and there, the large antique desk Shika had inherited from his father; a single picture of Team 10 in their genin years sitting on the windowsill overlooking the private garden; the well loved shogi set that sat mid-play on a low table on the opposite side of the room from you. There was no decor, though. Shikamaru didn't find such trivial things necessary to the overall function of his space. Plus, what man needed decorations when they had a gorgeous little thing like you — naked with your pretty little pussy weeping onto the luxurious pillows you knelt on — to liven up his space instead?
You were never usually one for sitting still long; something that Shikamaru endlessly grumbled about, though with adoration in his eyes; but something about being the only piece of true decoration in his office made you feel all floaty, and you wanted nothing more than to please him. Who knew being objectified by the man you love could feel so good?
You knew how much of a drag all his tedious paperwork was, and it made your heart soar to know that you made it more bearable for him. The wonderful feelings that came from Shikamaru directing you to kneel in your designated display space in his office was enough to keep you still, blissed out on the idea of being nothing more than an object, a porcelain doll, for him to devour with his eyes between reports.
Well… it kept you still for the first couple of hours. After that, the anticipation of what would come next — after all the paperwork was neatly filed away and Shikamaru finally relaxed into his high back chair and graced you with his full attention — had you starting to lose composure. He'd never made you wait for longer than two hours before. Today, it was nearing the four hour mark, and you weren't sure how much longer you could take it. You wanted to please him, gods you wanted to please him so badly, but your calves had long ago gone numb and you were certain that if you weren't touched soon you might start humping the pillow beneath you like a feral dog.
You shifted slightly hoping to ease some of the pressure on your calves, but only really succeeded in accidently squeezing your sensitive pussy between your plush thighs. The subtle pressure almost made you moan, but you didn't want to draw Shikamaru's attention to your rule breaking. Dolls weren't allowed to move, nevermind pleasure themselves, even if it was an accident.
A deep sigh had your eyes locked on Shikamaru in an instant. He met your gaze with half-lidded chocolate brown eyes that sent a shiver down your spine. Apparently, you hadn't been as subtle as you thought.
“Getting needy, are you?” Shika drawled, his voice low and calm as he inspected you. “Troublesome woman.”
His heavy gaze trailed your form slowly, taking in every detail from your quivering thighs, to your pink nipples that pebbled under his stare, then up to your large pleading eyes.
Troublesome woman indeed. You so badly wanted to tell him that yes, you were so incredibly needy for him, and that if he'd just please give you the release command you would crawl across his office on numb legs to the space beneath his desk that you loved so much and keep his cock warm in your throat until he was done work please, please, please!
But he didn't give you the command, and so you remained in place, unable to move or speak. A soft, pathetic whimper bubbled up your throat instead, a noise you were able to make on technicality alone.
A lazy grin lifted the corner of Shikamaru's lips. “I've kept you waiting a long time, haven't I, baby? You've done so good for me, though.”
His praise lit you up inside, warmth spreading through your system and lifting you higher into that fuzzy, floaty place. Shikamaru must have seen it on your face because his grin widened and something calculating flashed in his eyes.
“I still have two more reports and some scrolls to sign off on...”
Your heart dropped, and you're sure that your desperation was showing in your eyes. You wanted to whine in displeasure this time but held it back. You wanted to keep being a good doll for him, to make Shika proud of you. Whiney girls did neither of those things. You could tell he was waiting for it, though, giving you a moment to process. When you didn't make a fuss, he nodded, pleased.
“How about a little warm-up while I finish up? You'd like that, wouldn't you, pretty girl?” His gaze smoldered and trapped you within their depths.
Your eyes widened. Had Shikamaru read your mind? Your tongue flicked out and wet your lips unconsciously. Oh, how you loved having him buried in your throat. Your body tensed, waiting for the release command so you could throw yourself across the room at his feet. You could feel a rush of slick dribble down your inner thigh at the dirty images flashing through your mind.
The command never came. A single fluid hand gesture later, and Shikamaru's face fell back into his regular bored working expression as he opened the next file folder on the stack. You kneeled there, still as a statue, in utter confusion. Didn't he say…?
And then you saw it. Flowing out from beneath Shikamaru's desk were long tendrils of his shadow. You watched awe as the shadows glided across the floor towards your quivering frame. The Nara clan's secret techniques never failed to amaze you.
A jolt of excitement ran through you as the tendrils reached you, gently prodding your skin where it met the floor. You sighed softly at the familiar coolness of Shika’s shadow as the tendrils glided up along your heated skin.
Tearing your eyes away from the shadows that were exploring your body with gentle brushes, you turned your attention back to Shikamaru. You knew that while it seemed that the shadows had a mind of their own, in actuality, every move they made was at his behest. You'd never be able to tell though with the way he was diligently focused on the papers in front of him, pen scratching across the page here and there.
A small but sharp pain on your thigh drew your attention back to the tendrils. It seemed Shika wanted you to focus on yourself, not him. The sharpened tendril on your thigh dulled again before trailing over to your hand that rested palm up on your thigh. It wrapped around your wrist, tight but gentle, before forcing it behind your back. More tendrils mirrored the action with your other hand, binding them in shadows behind your back. You tugged experimentally on the binding hold — more out of curiosity than an actual want to escape — and were met with another needle like prick of warning against your skin.
You let your body relax into the hold of Shikamaru's shadow, enjoying the feeling of the many tendrils exploring your body. Some caressed gently while others pricked against your skin, only to be soothed by a softer touch. You reveled in the feeling of finally being touched after such a long wait, gasping and twitching as Shikamaru's shadows teased you. They were almost everywhere. You couldn't tell where one tendril began, and another ended. You had no clue how many there were either. All you knew was that they felt amazing teasing against your skin, and the need between your thighs was reaching a fever pitch.
Desperation bubbled up inside you as the tendrils explored; curling around your legs, whispering across your ticklish tummy, smoothing down your arms, and even softly caressing your cheeks, but not a single one strayed to the places you wanted them most. Your ass, breast and cunt were left untouched and alight with need. Sure, the feather light touches and sparks of pain already had you gasping, but you wanted more.
When finally a single shadow ghosted along the underside of one of your perky tits a whimper escaped your throat. Your hips stuttered forward against your will, raising your bottom off your calves, searching for something to grind against. A tendril that had wound its way around your hips tightened and jerked your body back to the proper position.
Shikamaru made a ‘tsk’ sound but didn't raise his head to acknowledge you. “Doll's can't move on their own. You know this,” he chastised.
He wasn't looking at you, but you lowered your gaze in apology either way. You did know that, but you couldn't help it! It didn't matter, though. Shika's shadows would help you.
The shadow tendrils tightened their grip on your wrists and spread further up your arms, binding them together from wrist to elbow. At the same time, the one around your hips extended out more tendrils to the floor, effectively anchoring you in place. The worst part, though, was the thicker tendrils that encased your folded thighs and yanked them apart with a strength that always surprised you.
Your glistening, sopping wet pussy was suddenly exposed to the cool air of the room, your clit peeking out from between your spread folds. Your most intimate parts displayed for Shikamaru. You could feel the heat of a mortified blush spreading from your chest to the tips of your ears. The embarrassment had your poor little pussy clenching down on thin air, even more aroused than you'd been seconds ago.
A shadow brushed along your inner thigh, trailing up, up, up to your spread core. Finally your pathetic pussy was going to get the attention it needed. Or not. Just before reaching the apex of your thighs the shadow shot up your body and wrapped tightly around your left breast. A keening cry left your throat at the unexpected move, so different from the slow sensual touches you'd been receiving thus far.
The shadow gripped your flesh, the tip of the tendril reaching out to flick your taut nipple. It hurt, but felt so good all at once. You arched against Shikamaru's restraining shadows and felt more of your slick dribble down your inner thighs. Another tendril climbed your body to tease your other nipple.
The tendrils enveloping your body continued to play across your skin, the mix of pleasure and pain so great that you soon began losing yourself to it, floating further away from reality with every second. You quickly lost track of time, but very briefly a clear thought crossed your mind: Your gasps and moans were probably distracting. You didn’t want to cause trouble for Shikamaru. You probably shouldn't let yourself float too far into the fuzzy space in your head. You needed to reel yourself back in, but you felt so good.
When you managed to pry your eyes open though Shikamaru was still diligently working away as if you weren't a twitching, near overstimulated mess on his office floor. His indifference fanned the flames within you and it felt like all he would need to do is send a single bored glance at your drenched cunt for you to fall over the edge. You could already imagine his teasing, ‘poor baby, so worked up and pathetic that you came without me even touching that pretty little pussy’. You mewled out a sob at your imaginary Shikamaru's words, closing your eyes again and throwing your head back, letting yourself fully fall into the overwhelming sensations swarming your body.
You didn't know how long you were bound there, spread wide and on display as Shikamaru teased you into oblivion with his shadow, but it all came crashing down around you in an instant. A single, electrifying brush of a cool shadow against your throbbing clit was all it took.
Your eyes flew open, unfocused, as a broken cry ripped from your throat. Your pussy clenched hard around nothing as your body went taut against your bonds, Shikamaru's name a worshiping chant in your head. The tendrils of shadows lost their chaotic vigor, instead caressing soft and gentle easing you through the intense orgasm.
When all that was left were the aftershocks and you managed to raise your head, you were once again met with Shikamaru's half-lidded gaze. His eyes were full of such heat and adoration that a soft, dopey smile took over your lips. He'd enjoyed the show. He'd enjoyed you.
“Such a good little doll,” Shikamaru said lowly, pushing himself away from his desk and rising. Your smile widened as he crossed the room to you.
For him? Always ♡

Who loves Disney? Well, if you do, the real estate agent says, "We’ve just waved our magic wand and *Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo* we’ve found your happily ever after!" For this semi-detached, 3bd, 1ba home in Rhyl, LL18 UK, I will be quoting the descriptions from the agent. A bargain at £179,950 / $236,203.
"Step into the spacious living/dining/kitchen area where the magic begins. With plenty of natural light and an open plan design, you’ll feel like you're in the happiest place on Earth with ample room for all the family."
"Can easily accommodate a large dining table and chairs, with double doors opening onto the newly laid Indian sandstone patio." But, currently, it houses the owners' collection.
"With plenty of cupboards and work surfaces, the kitchen is ready for any culinary adventure and will make every meal feel like hakuna matata - no worries, just good times!"
Not sure what this room is. It looks like a den, with an evil queen theme. Love the matching fireplace.
Up the stairs, we've got the London Bridge and Big Ben.
"The master bedroom is perfect for any sleeping beauty and is fitted with wardrobes which have plenty of hanging space for those princess gowns." Is that Strawberry Shortcake on the wall?
" A further double bedroom and single room which is perfect as a nursery or home office giving you a whole new world of possibilities." See what they did here? "A whole new world?"
"Into the bathroom, your very own splash mountain retreat - unwind with a bubble bath or shower, this larger than average bathroom is designed to help you just keep swimming with ease through your daily routine." Splash Mountain retreat? That's a stretch.
"Outside the low maintenance rear garden is a wonderland offering space to relax and play, offering a private and sunny aspect perfect for those bear necessities of life like a weekend BBQ or morning coffee!"
Well, I don't see a garden, and the theme has switched to a variety of other characters.
"With the added benefit of an extended garage with power and lights, a large summer house and further storage shed. Parking for your Lightning McQueen is available to the front of the property and on the single drive in front of the garage."
"Dont miss out on this practically perfect in every way property and contact us today and make this home part of your world."

Octonauts AU-All together now!
Basically this is an AU where all of the octonauts and octo-agents live together in the Reef Base H.Q. The Reef Base H.Q. was shown in episode 21 of season 4-Octonauts: Above and Beyond.
Pt. 1-Quartering
Everyone is split into 6 quartering rooms known as bunkers. The bunkers include four beds and a ten by twelve space between each bed, and each space is separated by a thin, sliding wall. These walls are thin, but insulate about as well as the average wall, because on the RBHQ, the normal walls are about 10 inches thick. In between the walls is about a 3 foot gap for space and ability to leave the bunker, as it makes a hallway in the middle. Each bunker has two bathrooms including showers and toilets, a storage closet, a name, and houses about 4 people. The walls have replaceable tiles, meaning the resident can choose any color wall tiles they want for their corner. The floors are hardwood. Any differences are stated in the bunker's description, and all bunkers are listed below.
---
The Captains' Bunker
Includes:
Capt. Barnacles
C/M Kwazii
2/O Tweak
2/O Dashi
This bunker is designed differently than the others. It's split into two parts-the lower deck, on the same level as all other bunkers, and the upper deck, separated by three stairs. On the lower deck, Tweak sleeps on the left side and Dashi sleeps on the right. On the upper deck, Capt. Barnacles takes the left side and Kwazii takes the right. Barnacles and Kwazii get the upper deck because they have the official titles of Captain (Capt) and First Mate (C/M). Tweak and Dashi have the official titles of Engineer and IT Officer respectively, but they both have the title of Second Mate (2/O), hence why they are in the Captains' Bunker. The bathrooms are more spacious in this bunker.
The Seniors' Bunker
Includes:
Prof. Natquik
Prof. Inkling
RGR Marsh
Pir. Calico Jack
The Seniors' Bunker is missing one bed, and that's because Inkling doesn't sleep in a bed-he prefers a chair. Inkling is in the bottom left corner, Natquik is in the top left corner, Calico Jack is in the top right corner, and Marsh is in the bottom right corner. It's miserable, because since Calico's been alone on conquests for so many years, he's forgotten he snores really fucking loudly. And all three others in the room have sensitive hearing. Exhibit A: Calico Jack: *Peacefully snoring*
Prof. Natquik: "..I'm going to shove a shoe down his throat."
Ranger Marsh: "Please do.."
Prof. Inkling: "Perhaps investing in earplugs would be a better solution?"
Prof. Natquik: “I can’t wear earplugs! I need to hear any possible noise around me."
Prof. Inkling: "You're almost more paranoid than our favorite snorer over there." He points to Calico Jack, who is still blissfully unaware that the people next to him are about to give him a DIY lobotomy.
The Vegimals' Bunker
Includes:
Tunip
Grouber
Barrot
Codish
Halibeet
Sharchini
Tominnow
Pikato
The Vegimals' Bunker does not have slide out walls. They all worked together with Shellington to decorate the walls with a pastel rainbow scheme. This bunker has 8 small beds, and they have two extra bathrooms because they have double the residents. Tunip has caught his siblings multiple times in their shenanigans in the middle of the night, but can’t really stop them all.
The Juniors' Bunker
Includes:
Bud
Koshi
Pinto
Periwinkle
Bud is basically the babysitter for Periwinkle, because Periwinkle is a baby and Bud is the most responsible one in the room, being the oldest. There are two beds in the storage closet of this room for when Ursa and Olson come to the RBHQ. Occasionally, older members come in to take care of/hang out with younger members.
Unnamed Bunkers
these are the two bunkers I couldn’t decide on names for. Help me out guys :(
Bunker 1
Peso
Shellington
Paani
Tracker
Bunker 2
Pearl
Min
Ryla
Selva
I really like this idea, so add onto it freely! Make headcanons, draw comics, have fun!

I also think there needs to be a conversation about conflicting needs and also a conversation about how inadequate accessibility is a constant within so-called disability-friendly spaces where something is accessible for one but not for someone else and how people feel satisfied with their accomodations often don't realize others are sorely lacking on theirs.
But I think this sort of conversation needs to happen without pointing fingers, because often a lack of adequate accessibility standards is not the fault of those who ARE being accomodated but rather the fault of the ableist perfectly able-bodied 100% non-disabled people who design these spaces.
As said, nothing stopped me from entering the movie theater. I could get in the building. But can I actually stay for the movie? Well... debatable. In this instance, the building is perfectly accessible for those with mobility-related needs. But it is significantly less accessible for those with sensory problems regarding bright flashing lights (which btw is something that can be caused by both mental and physical disability 🤷♂️)
On the flip side, my house is incredibly friendly to both mobility and sensory related needs... but it is not possible to enter my house in a wheelchair because there is a step up regardless of what doorway you use. Yet there is quite a lot of assistive design in my bathroom installed by the previous owner to accomodate someone using a walker.
Then we have my job, which is wheelchair accessible to clients but not to employees. The places clients can go are 100% flat. The bathroom is large and has bars for easy access to the toilet. The lobby and exam rooms are spacious. There is the option to swing around the high counter for those who need a lower working space. But employees need to go up a flight of stairs depending on their workday (doctor offices, medical archives, and the employee lounge are all upstairs in three different buildings, two of which are not accessible except by stairs themselves), the bathrooms do not have bars or handles (and one of them it's not possible to even accomodate my office manager, who is both fat and tall, because he cannot physically fit inside of that space), and there is a tall step to access the surgeey suite. In other words, you can be a client in a wheelchair, but you cannot be an employee in a wheelchair.
These are examples of inadequate accessibility, and they do need to be fixed. But the problem isn't "because mentally ill people are accomodated"- it's "because the person who designed these places didn't think about x need or y need and did not build according to those needs, because they aren't disabled themselves or disabled in the same way themselves".

Wentworth Manor
Hello Simmers, get ready for a game of Beer Pong at the Wentworth Manor . A former family home converted into a Fraternity. This is a requested build which I was so excited to do! I would also like to say a massive thank you to all you guys for your support- we just hit 8k on Tiktok!
Fraternities have been impacted by the increase of off-campus housing starts in recent years. The Wentworth's examined their existing house and determined that for them to remain competitive, they needed to upgrade and increase their common amenity space.
In this area, most houses were built in the 1920s and early ’30s, affording a certain unity in design and volume, although many were altered in the post-war years. Most followed one of two architectural styles of the period—Collegiate Tudor/Gothic or Georgian Revival. This property includes a spacious foyer, 5 bedrooms, large bathroom, traditional kitchen, entertainment room, library and a casual living and dinning room. Th backyard also accommodates for a pool and deck for outdoor cooking. While majority of the features have been maintained by the Wentworth's, each student is more than free to decorate their own spaces as they see fit.
Would also like to say thank you to @alexissimsblog for her idea and name!

Too Pink For me- Logan Howlett + 18
03: First Canva
Hello, my little readers! Just a heads up that for those who have already read Chapter 1, it now includes an illustration where I've shown the real design of Rosellina so you can have a better idea. As an illustrator, I'll be creating illustrations for each chapter, or at least most of them, featuring the most important scenes.
Kisses, Judy. ✨️
ilustratation of the first chapter: Ororo (storm) and Rosellina, frst meet:
________________________________________
Logan's strange behavior lingered in Rosellina's thoughts for a while.
What a peculiar man, she thought as she followed Ororo, keeping her in sight through the corridors.
Even so, Logan's roughness toward her wasn't enough to dampen her curiosity. She gazed around the mansion in awe, her eyes gleaming as they explored every corner, anticipating the spaces ahead thanks to her keen vision. She could hear laughter and teachers giving lessons as she passed by a classroom. Many walls were bare, and she couldn't resist the urge to imagine them filled with color, though the mansion held its own charm in its old, stately architecture.
Nervously, she fidgeted with her hands and occasionally smoothed her dress, as if trying to fix some crease or imperfection. Ororo glanced back over her shoulder, smiling at her reactions.
"Relax," Ororo said softly, her voice warm with reassurance. "Aside from Logan, I can promise you everyone will like you."
"Thank you, it's just... I've never lived with so many people before, or been around this much company," Rosellina replied quickly, flashing a small, embarrassed smile as she quickened her pace to walk beside Ororo.
Ororo felt a pang of sympathy, a dull ache forming a knot in her throat. She had seen so much over the years-most mutants who grew up alone were shunned, filled with so much anger, so much pain, that it often turned them away from kindness.
But Rosellina was different. She had grown up in a place where people adored her, yet still, she was alone. Why did she seem so happy? Ororo wondered. She was so full of color.
"This is the professor's office. He's eager to meet you," Ororo said with a smile as she opened the door.
Ororo pushed what seemed like a part of the wall, revealing a large, spacious office adorned with bookshelves and ancient artifacts. In the center stood a grand polished wooden desk, and behind it sat the man Rosellina had been told about-the head of the school, Charles Xavier.
"Buongiorno, Rosellina."
Rosellina blinked in surprise, realizing his lips hadn't moved. No, that greeting had come from inside her head.
"Buongiorno, signore. Are you... in my mind?"
She responded through her thoughts, confused, and Charles couldn't help but let out a small, amused smile.
"I believe you've just discovered my ability," he replied, and Rosellina's surprise quickly turned into a wide, excited smile.
She had known about other mutants, but seeing someone with such incredible abilities was astonishing.
"That's amazing, signore," she laughed softly, her excitement shining through. It was written all over her face, the joy of discovering the powers of others. Strangely enough, it made her feel at home.
"Well, I don't think mine could be better than yours," Charles remarked, entering the subject of abilities.
"Your father told me you possess great talents, capable of captivating even the most skeptical person," he said, stepping closer to Rosellina, echoing what her father had said about her. "Not to mention your remarkable beauty," he added kindly, meeting Rosellina's gaze.
Rosellina didn't fully express herself-not out loud, at least. But her heart was so treacherous, so talkative and nervous, sending those hopeful thoughts and desires straight to her mind.
Does he really think that? Does my father truly think that about me?
Rosellina thought, a small, betraying glimmer of emotion appearing in her eyes.
Charles couldn't help but feel a surge of sympathy. He let out a soft chuckle, charmed by her reactions. He could see everything going on in her mind, and he had never sensed a mind quite like hers-constantly walking along a path of flowers. Her thoughts were so beautiful, her desires so sincere. There was no anger, no pain, nothing negative to be found within her. At least, not while the persistent sunlight kept the storm at bay, a storm that never seemed to come.
"Would you allow your emotions to show me what I'm sensing in your mind?"
The older man asked gently. Rosellina nodded and made a graceful bow.
"It would be my pleasure."
Charles found himself drawn to her eyes, those bright emeralds that seemed to grow more intense the deeper he gazed into them. Before he realized it, they were no longer in the office-they were standing in a field of flowers. Charles looked around, feeling the breeze, the warmth of the sun. Even his mind was conjuring the scents that filled the air. In all his years of encountering mutants, he had never seen anything like this. He was amazed. Of all the mental powers he had witnessed, this was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and exotic.
A delighted smile spread across his face as he turned to Rosellina, who stood before him, smiling softly. He nodded several times.
"You have truly remarkable eyes. I can see why your father speaks so proudly of you."
He didn't hesitate to let his words drift toward her on the wind, and Rosellina smiled proudly, nodding in return. His words filled her with such joy that Charles could see a glow in her hair, as it seemed to deepen into a more vibrant pastel pink.
Outside the illusion, Ororo leaned against the wall, arms crossed, smiling as she watched Charles, lost in the beautiful vision Rosellina was showing him.
Rosellina felt the urge to cry, but out of happiness. Ordinary people didn't know about her powers, only her talent for painting. Hearing such kind, warm words, as comforting as the sun in her beloved homeland, and knowing that her father spoke of her so fondly despite their distance, filled her heart.
She had never thought her father didn't love her-quite the opposite. Despite her loneliness, there had never been room in her small heart for negative feelings toward the man whose presence was so often absent. His letters were always so brief, containing only the necessary information. But to know that he truly thought of her, cared for her, and spoke of her so genuinely beyond his written words, was deeply comforting. Rosellina looked up slightly, trying to stop the tears from betraying her joyful eyes. The illusion broke with that movement.
"Don't cry, my dear," Charles said with an understanding tone. "There will be better moments worthy of those happy tears," he assured her. "We will take good care of you."
The Italian girl turned to him respectfully and nodded.
"I believe your words..." she said softly.
Rosellina took her time explaining her abilities to Charles, or at least what she knew about them so far. Charles made small notes and deductions as he listened. She did her best to give him demonstrations of what her eyes could do, though some abilities she mentioned weren't always under her control. These were the most important to Charles, as Rosellina, being a mutant who directly affected the mind, needed to understand the full extent of her powers and learn to control them responsibly as soon as possible.
In the end, it was agreed that Rosellina would take lessons with Charles, sometimes alongside Jean, who was still learning to master her own abilities.
"Rosellina," he called.
"Yes, signore?"
"You have extensive knowledge of languages, art, and history thanks to your photographic memory," he began, introducing his proposal. "Since you'll be taking some classes with me a few days a week, I would like to offer you the opportunity to teach the younger students. I believe no one is more qualified in the arts than you," he finished, presenting his offer fully.
"Huh? You want me to teach at the school?"
Rosellina wasn't opposed to the idea but was clearly surprised by the suggestion. Charles nodded slightly, confirming her question.
"Not only can you teach them with words, but you have the ability to show them far beyond what they can imagine," Charles continued, giving her more confidence. "I'm sure the children would love your classes."
Rosellina felt a small wave of excitement. Art was what she was most passionate about, out of everything she had learned from her books. The idea of teaching it to the younger students filled her with a sense of joy.
"Well, I suppose... I could try," she said timidly, fidgeting with her hands.
"You'll do great," Ororo chimed in, offering even more encouragement.
Feeling a bit more confident, Rosellina nodded and looked at Charles.
"I'll do it," she said with a more assured smile.
Charles nodded, pleased that she had accepted without any hesitation.
"After this weekend, you can start at your own pace. Ororo will introduce you to the other teachers and help you with your schedule," he said, glancing toward Ororo, who nodded in agreement.
Rosellina listened carefully, and just as Ororo was about to mention the tour of the facilities, Charles interrupted her, seemingly anticipating her kind offer.
"Logan will show you around tomorrow. I believe you've already met."
Charles remarked calmly, looking at his papers, fully aware of Ororo's glances from behind Rosellina. The weather mutant was silently mulling over all the potential issues with this unexpected choice of host for the Italian, hoping Charles might read her mind.
But it seemed Charles had chosen to block out any psychic interference-or perhaps he was simply ignoring her entirely.
"I think that-"
"I'll also ask him to show you the mansion's attic. I'd like you to have that space in case you ever want to work on your paintings in peace."
Charles interrupted Ororo again, as though he weren't hearing her mental complaints about the situation.
"I don't want to be a bother..." Rosellina murmured with a nervous laugh, recalling her recent encounter with Logan.
Of course, she wasn't going to tell Charles what had happened-perhaps he already knew. She wasn't sure. But she wasn't going to be the one to refuse the offer either. She didn't have any real issue with Logan; she found him more curious than anything else.
"Nonsense, he'll be delighted," Charles assured her, resting his chin in his hands and looking at her with a warm smile.
Ororo raised an eyebrow at Charles's comment, struggling to keep her thoughts about his statement to herself.
On the other hand, Rosellina, somewhere in his words, could almost swear there was a hint of mischief. She mentally shook her head; this man seemed like nothing but a kind soul to everyone.
"Well, if Logan is willing..." Rosellina said, not wanting to contradict Charles any further.
He knows him better than I do, right?
She thought to herself, not wanting to dwell too much on something that was probably just a misunderstanding.
"Great, I'm glad we all agree on this," Charles said, nodding in approval.
"Professor-"
Charles cut Ororo off before she could even voice her complaints, as if he had anticipated her every move.
"I've asked Rogue to take you to your room, as it's next to hers on the second floor," he added, completely ignoring Ororo's look of disbelief. "I believe you've already met her; if not, she's delightful, and you'll get along well."
Ororo stared at Charles, looking like she was about to explode. She knew very well who was on the other side of Rogue's room.
"Rogue?"
Rosellina tried to recall if Rogue was the girl with the striking silver streaks from the entrance.
"She's waiting for you by the stairs, don't take too long. I'm sure you're very tired from your trip, you should go rest and eat something," Charles suggested cheerfully, motioning with his hand for her to leave the room and meet the other girl.
Rosellina blinked several times before nodding her head gratefully.
"Yes, of course. I think I could use some sleep," she said, still sounding nervous. The situation felt strange and curious to her. Yet her innocent heart only led her to believe she was overthinking it and that the man was simply being kind and charitable. Besides, she would be lying if she said she wasn't already feeling sleepy after her long flight from Italy, where she hadn't slept a wink.
"Thank you so much for your kindness," she added before turning and giving Ororo a friendly wave as she left.
Ororo didn't even have time to say anything before Rosellina had already exited the room.
"Were you saying something, Storm?" Charles asked as if the woman hadn't been trying to interrupt for the past 10 minutes.
Ororo looked at him in disbelief.
"Is your telepathy failing you, Professor?"
"I think it's working just fine, if you ask me," he replied disinterestedly, returning his focus to his papers.
Ororo could almost feel the mockery from where she stood.
"Professor, normally I don't question your decisions, but I'm not sure you made the right choice. I could've done the tour, or Hank," she expressed, placing one hand on her hip in frustration over the choice of candidate for the simple task.
"Are you worried about Logan's behavior at the entrance?" Charles mentioned, to which Ororo raised both eyebrows indignantly.
"Oh, so you do know what happened. All the more reason for me to object," Ororo said, not holding back her feelings.
"You're worrying too much, Storm. You're bringing the storm faster than you should," Charles dismissed the matter lightly.
"Professor, Logan doesn't like Rosellina. Not even the charm of the girl had any effect on him. They're from completely different worlds," Ororo expressed her concerns.
"Besides, you know very well that this is the kind of thing Logan hates doing the most. He'll only have more reasons not to like Rosellina. Knowing him, he'll refuse and say Scott should do it, claiming it's not his job."
She concluded, laying out everything that could go wrong, while Charles simply continued looking at his papers, unfazed. After a moment, he set the papers aside and looked at Ororo, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Oh, believe me, he'll agree. One way or another."
Ororo looked confused.
"Besides, Logan needs a little color and joy in his life. All he ever thinks about is war and the blood of the past. Maybe Rosellina will finally bring him some good cheer."
"Allow me to doubt that," Ororo murmured under her breath, turning her head away and shaking it.
Unaware of the conversation, Rosellina met Rogue at the stairs just as Charles had indicated.
"You must be Rogue," Rosellina said with a kind smile.
Rogue didn't hesitate to return the smile with equal warmth.
"Yes. Sorry for not introducing myself earlier, I see Storm was eager to get you to the professor," she said, a little embarrassed for not having mentioned her name sooner. "Shall we go up?"
"Of course."
Rosellina noticed that her luggage was no longer there, remembering that Jean had mentioned earlier that everything would be arranged in her room. Without further delay, Rosellina followed Rogue upstairs.
"Storm...did you mean Ororo?"
Rosellina asked, curious after hearing a nickname for the woman she had initially known as Ororo.
"Oh, yes. Right, you wouldn't know." Rogue chuckled at the small situation. "Mutants tend to give each other nicknames, usually when we become part of the X-Men, it's like... you know, superhero aliases."
Both of them laughed as Rogue gestured dramatically when saying "superhero."
"Got it," Rosellina said, now understanding the reasoning behind the nickname. It made sense-during the flight to America, Ororo and Jean had talked about their abilities. To Rosellina, Ororo's ability to control weather seemed unique. It wouldn't surprise her if she was one of the most powerful mutants in the school.
"Even I go by the name Rogue," the girl with the white streaks mentioned, glancing at her.
"I see... Does that mean I should too?"
"Oh no, not at all. It's completely up to you. Not everyone has to have one," Rogue quickly intervened to avoid any pressure on the Italian. "Besides, if I had a name as beautiful as yours, I wouldn't hide it. It sounds like a princess's name."
Rogue openly complimented Rosellina, and she felt the blush rise to her cheeks. Rosellina was used to hearing people murmur about her, always from afar, under gazes filled with admiration but fearful of being overheard by the subject of their admiration. People always showed her a respect she hadn't asked for, as if they felt unworthy of saying such words openly without her permission. This custom, shaped by an old-fashioned and distant village, likely made her more susceptible to such unexpected, open, and sincere compliments.
Deep down, though, they filled her heart, but her cautious and shy nature kept her humble in front of those who praised her. After all, she wasn't someone worthy of such words that could easily inflate a person's ego, or was she?
It was something she would always debate with herself.
"What is your name?" Rosellina asked, wanting to know the real name behind her companion. "Your real name."
Rogue hesitated, sighing slightly. But Rosellina gave her a sense of trust that she couldn't quite explain, as if she wanted to tell her everything. In the end, she relented.
"Anna Marie D'Ancanto," she finally said.
Rosellina's lips stretched into a smile, and her eyes sparkled slightly.
"You say mine sounds like a princess, but yours sounds like a countess from my beloved Europe in its younger years."
For the first time, Rogue felt that her name was beautiful. She smiled, looking at the ground as they continued walking toward the rooms.
"You're very kind, Rosellina," she said later, glancing at her with eyes full of gratitude. "And I like your Italian accent, it's refreshing."
Rosellina laughed at the compliment.
"Well, I think... Italian speaking habits are hard to shake."
"Do you do the gesture when you talk?"
Rosellina turned, confused.
"Gesture?"
Rogue suppressed a laugh, biting her lips, unsure if it was appropriate or rude to ask, but her curiosity got the better of her.
"You know, the gesture." Rogue brought her fingertips together and moved her wrist up and down, mimicking the famous Italian hand gesture.
Rosellina's eyes widened in realization, and she couldn't help but burst into a sweet laugh. She hadn't known that the gesture was so famous on the other side of the planet. It was a pretty common gesture when someone saw something slightly odd and wanted to question the person about it. But it was actually a very versatile gesture.
"Oh, you mean la pigna," Rosellina tried to stop laughing. "It has a history, believe it or not-it's said to come from ancient Greece."
She explained, maybe because, to most people, it was a rather amusing gesture to watch.
"We don't use it for everything..." she said, not really noticing her hands while speaking. "I think."
Rogue was dying to one day see that gesture naturally come out of Rosellina-it seemed like European culture was deeply ingrained in her.
"Did I do something wrong this morning?... It seems like Logan hates me," Rosellina blurted out after a while, once they reached the door of the room. She didn't want to dwell on the matter, but after all, Ororo had told her not to take it personally. Still, she'd never had an encounter like that before.
Rogue held back a smile, as if she had been waiting for this topic.
"I don't really think he hates you; it's possibly the opposite-you're very beautiful. Even he must have noticed," she explained, trying to avoid a misunderstanding.
"Do you think so?" Rosellina responded, not entirely convinced.
"Normally, Logan is like a caged lion in the mansion; he can't sit still. He tends to get grumpy easily, but don't worry. You just caught him at a bad time," Rogue encouraged Rosellina not to avoid her interactions with Logan. Rosellina nodded at her words-maybe it was just as Rogue said. After all, she seemed to know him well.
"Are you two close?"
"You could say so. I promise he's not a bad guy," Rogue assured.
They were just about to finish their conversation when they heard footsteps and saw Logan approaching his room, which was to the left of Rogue's and across from Rosellina's. Rosellina fidgeted with her hands.
I don't think he's still mad at me.
She thought as the man stopped, looking at both of them before specifically addressing Rogue.
"I don't want any slumber parties, Rogue. My hearing is very sensitive," Logan said, seeing them in the hallway.
"Logan, Rosellina's room is this one. The professor said it'd be fine if she stays next to mine," Rogue replied with an innocent smile, as if she herself hadn't asked Charles if Rosellina could take the empty room across from hers.
"What?"
Logan looked baffled by the revelation.
"Is this a joke?"
"No."
A heavy silence followed before Logan glanced at Rosellina with that stern look again.
"I'm no trouble. I'm very quiet, I promise I won't disturb you," Rosellina assured in a second attempt to be kind.
Maybe they had just started off on the wrong foot.
"Of all the rooms in the damn mansion..." Logan muttered under his breath.
Rosellina blinked several times. What was his problem?
"Don't be so grumpy, Logan," Rogue teased, lightly punching his arm with a small smile, trying to lighten the mood.
"Too much pink for me," Logan grumbled before turning around. "I need a beer," he muttered to himself as he walked away. He didn't even give Rosellina or Rogue a chance to say anything else before disappearing again.
"What were you saying?" Rosellina asked with a sigh of mild frustration, referencing Rogue's earlier claim that Logan didn't hate her.
"Well, I must say I don't understand that attitude," Rogue admitted, confused by Logan's dislike of Rosellina, though she found the situation amusing. She had never seen anyone put Logan in such a bad mood with so few words. The only one with that natural talent was Scott.
"Anyway, don't worry about that now-you look tired," Rogue suggested, encouraging her to head into her room and rest.
"I have so many more questions, but the professor said you needed sleep, so I'll give you your space," she added, signaling a farewell that would last until the next day when they'd see each other again.
Rosellina smiled widely and nodded enthusiastically.
"Yes, thank you so much for everything, Rogue."
Rosellina always emphasized the "R" in Rogue's name, something that Rogue found endearing. Her unique accent brought Rogue joy whenever she said her name. For Rogue, it was undoubtedly the beginning of a friendship.
"I barely did anything, no need to thank me. We'll see each other tomorrow and talk more," Rogue assured.
Rosellina nodded again, clearly happy.
"Yes, we'll see each other tomorrow."
Rogue smiled and waved goodbye. Rosellina stood in the hallway for a moment before entering the room. She looked around-it was the kind of room you'd expect in a mansion, spacious and lovely, with a rustic feel from the wooden decor. She smiled to herself as she closed the door behind her, leaning her back against it. Thinking about everything that had happened in the last 48 hours, she sighed deeply, finally allowing herself to give in to the nerves, excitement, and passion that she had been holding inside since she knew she'd be coming to this place.
Everything felt so natural. She felt so many new emotions, but... they were wonderful. They made her feel even more alive. She never imagined she'd tell someone she'd see them the next day just to continue chatting and getting to know each other better. That kind of thought had never crossed the mind of someone so solitary in her own world.
As captivating as Van Gogh's starry night, as warm as Monet's rising sun, as mysterious yet thrilling as any work of El Bosco. Could her heart, which had been shielded in its own solitude, wrapped in its own illusions and longing for something like this, handle all the emotions of something that seemed so eagerly awaited, without her ever realizing it?
It felt... so good. So alive. It brought color.
________________________________________
The longing didn't exist under so much illusion. Perhaps because it was never achieved.
Can someone who has lived with nothing from the start, without realizing they needed it, truly long for something?
For those who believe they have everything, without the sins brushing the limits of their emotions, they don't see what they lack.
When something they never thought they would long for or need enters their life... mischievous greed sneaks in through the doorway.
Will you be able to live once it's gone?

3.14 It Boy
Johnny walked over to the Production Coordinator’s office. She was sitting at her desk, her blonde hair looped into a messy ponytail. Her desk was covered in an assortment of papers and folders that she was rummaging through.
“Where did I put that? I swear it was here a minute ago," she muttered to herself.
Johnny cleared his throat. “Excuse me, are you Lucy Steel?”
She looked up. “Oh, hi! Yes, I’m Lucy, it’s nice to meet you! Johnny, right?” She gestured to one of the empty chairs sat in front of her desk.
Johnny nodded as he sat down. “It’s nice to meet you, too.”
“Sorry I couldn’t meet with you earlier, but you know how it is. I can show you around, unless you’ve already seen everything.”
“No, I haven’t made it away from my desk. I got bombarded by Hurricane Lilly.”
Lucy laughed. “She’s a character! Well, we can start in the studio.”
They walked down the corridor and stopped in front of a security door. Lucy swiped her badge. “I’ll give you one of these,” she said. “You can enter the studio at any time as long as the red light isn’t on.” She gestured to the light fixture on top of the door. “Don’t let the talent or directors tell you otherwise.”
They stepped into the studio. Johnny was surprised at how spacious it was. “Wow, it seems so much smaller onscreen.”
“Yeah, we need a lot of space for the equipment.”
They walked past some technical equipment with lots of buttons and lights and stopped at one of the sets. Johnny recognized the blue couch from some of the channel’s videos. The wall behind it was decorated with memorabilia from popular video games. “This is where we film most of our gaming videos.”
She turned to the right and walked towards another set, this one featuring a long table with an tabletop RPG set up. “And that’s our Lairs and Llamas set. We’ll add more sets as we continue to expand the channel, but we’ll need to hire more people first.”
Johnny was taking everything in. It was surreal being somewhere he’d seen on SimTube so many times.
They exited the studio and Lucy showed him a couple of other areas—the editor’s work stations, the production design studio, and the break area. Everywhere they went was bustling with people, most of them happy and engaged in activity.
They made their way back to Lucy’s office. Everything seemed great so far, but Johnny still felt a bit unprepared. “Can I ask a silly question?”
“Ask away.”
“What is it that I’m going to be doing exactly?”
Lucy began to laugh but caught herself. “I’m sorry, go ahead,” she told him.
“All of this is just really new to me,” Johnny explained sheepishly. “I don’t even really understand what you do. Like what is a Production Coordinator?”
“Oh, I wasn’t laughing at you!" Lucy explained apologetically. "It’s just that I asked that same question when I interviewed here a couple of years ago. It reminds me of how lost I was back then.”
"Oh, okay." Johnny let out a small breath of relief.
“So basically," Lucy continued. "I run interference between the Producer and the other departments to make sure everyone has the information and materials they need and everything is on schedule. I’m involved throughout the whole process, from researching ideas for new content to providing feedback on videos in post-production.”
“Wow, that sounds like a lot.”
“It can be. But having you here will be a big help. Your main duties will be delivering messages, keeping inventory of materials, helping with set up, and resolving minor issues during filming. That’ll cut down a lot of the running around I’m doing.”
“So I'll be the go-between for the go-between," Johnny quipped. I guess that’s pretty much what I expected.” He recalled what Lilly told him earlier.
As though she could read his mind, Lucy added, “It won’t be just running errands, though. I’ll need your help with researching ideas and bringing them to life on set. That’s one of the reasons we hired you. Damien called you ‘an innovative thinker.’”
Johnny was flattered. “He said that?”
“He did. That’s quite a big compliment coming from him. If you prove him right, you won’t be stuck as a PA for long.”
Johnny tried to quiet the voice inside his head, the one that was telling him this was all too good to be true. How could a successful CEO see potential in him? Could he really go from doing lines in a dingy bar only a few weeks ago to making a name for himself in the world of digital media production?
If Damien and Lucy could believe in him, maybe he could get there too.

paint my love
hwang hyunjin x artist!gn!reader genre: fluff warning(s): none other than hyune being a bit of a crybaby
note: took me a while but i finally got to fully write out my little thought from here because tbh sending in asks to sage gets my brain going lol
word count: 2.1k omg
“Hey Bin! Um... can you do me a favor? Like a big, big favor?” Your best friend nodded eagerly, awaiting your words. "Can you... buy me a studio? Nothing huge. Just a studio?"
Changbin looked at you as if you were speaking gibberish. At this point, real gibberish would have made more sense. "Um. I love you but why? You have a studio and Hyunjin. Ask Hyunjin."
"Well, you see... I want to give him a new studio for our anniversary but I want to keep it a secret. A very secret secret and it’s not like I can drop a grand or two randomly and play it off." You looked at Changbin, reaching for his hand on the table. "I need you, Binnie."
He raised his eyebrow. "You need my money."
"Well... yeah. But I'm a good friend so I'll say I need you. Besides, I'll pay you back," Grinning, you gave him the best puppy eyes you could muster, causing him to groan in defeat.
"Fine." He pulled out his card. "For the love of this world, do NOT go buying a whole bunch of buildings. Okay? Ask Chan for his card if you're gonna do that." Changbin smirked and handed you his card before getting up to pat Hyunjin's shoulder, who looked at you with a puzzled facial expression.
Later that day, you spent your time sketching cherry blossom trees, scraps of your designs littered the floor of your shared room-turned-mini-studio, which was mostly filled with Hyunjin’s finished projects and some half-finished projects. With both of you being artists, many of your projects mixed with Hyunjin's. You tugged at one of his binders and flipped through the paints your boyfriend had bought or created. You found various shades of pink and red, ones you considered using for your project. After all, it had to be the most perfect anniversary gift for him.
"I'm home~" Hyunjin kicked off his shoes and found you scavenging through his binders and some of your folders. He gave you a quick peck on the top of your head. "Artistic rush?" You nodded and he chuckled, sitting down next to you. "What are you looking for?"
"Just some shades. I'm trying to find the nature catalog." Humming softly, you leaned against his shoulder. "I had a little thought." Laughing softly, you traced patterns on your boyfriend's thigh. "How was practice?"
"It was kinda fun today. We goofed off mostly and we were all okay with it. Even Minho was okay with it." Hyunjin tangled his fingers in the locks of your hair before reaching into a mess of binders and pulled a smaller one out. "Here."
"Thanks Hyunnie.” He hummed his acknowledgement, kissing your cheek again.
“I’m gonna shower and work on some things,” He got up and went to get his clothes from your bedroom. You, on the other hand, grabbed a spare bin, put the catalog, some paints you could easily find, and many brushes or various shapes inside. The rest of the day, you looked into multiple art studios, trying to find ones with a nice view and large windows.
“This is the one.” You found a lovely, spacious yet cozy studio that faced the west, allowing one to see the prettiest sunsets from the room. Booking a viewing appointment for tomorrow, you quickly made another checklist; things to double check and look for to make sure what you were buying had the proper things. Grabbing your tote bag, a birthday gift from your boyfriend who painted delicate roses on the sides, you put the list in, your car keys, and your wallet with Changbin’s card inside.
“As you can see, this studio has a smaller, more private office area with a lovely view of the city. It’s perfect for smaller businesses or artists or all kinds. Out here,” the realtor led you out of the little office to the outside space, “is the kitchen and a large open area here that can fit your various needs. Should it be a living room, meeting area, art studio based on your pretty bag there.” The woman smiled, gesturing to your tote bag.
“It’s beautiful. May I check and look around the studio?”
“Feel free to. I have another client downstairs so take as much time as you need,” The realtor smiled and left, going to the bottom floor to meet the client. Looking around, you checked for any damage, locating wall outlets, checking the space, checking the windows. Satisfied, you went down the many floors to find the realtor, going to make your down payment with Changbin’s card.
You better love and use that studio to bits and pieces. Pay me back when you can :>
Texting Changbin back that you promise to pay him back, you drove home, catching Hyunjin on his way back to the house from a company dinner. Next week, you’d start the painting and prep. “Hi Jinnie! I finally figured out my artistic rush. So unfortunately I’ll be busy for a long long time.”
You giggled at the silly ferret’s antics. “Oh no! You’re going to disappear off the face of the Earth for a long time. When can I expect your kisses?” “Mmm… a week or two?”Jaw drop.
“Lord. Are you being summoned to paint down in the depths of hell? What are you painting? A skyscraper?” Hyunjin pounced on you, hugging you tightly and peppering kisses all over you. “Come back alive, my love.”
“Dramatic.” Laughing, you hugged him back, with a big grin, “I just wanna perfect this project. Besides, I literally see you everyday, angel.”
“Alright, alright fine.”
For a few days, you spent hours painting the walls, deciding on a green summery background, with faint mountains in the background. Coming home, you set your bags down, sighing, glad to be home. “Babyy!” Hyunjin comes to you, hugging and spinning you around with a wide grin. “You have green paint on your cheek… You’re really using that nature binder, huh?”
You flushed a light pink, attempting to wipe off the dried paint. “Ah…” Laughing slightly, you rest your face against Hyunjin’s chest. Stilling slightly, Hyunjin brought his hands up to your head and your back, rubbing soothing circles on your back.
A week later, you set the wet brush down on the paper, admiring your work. In the center of the wall was a grand cherry blossom tree, its branches stretching across the walls and parts of the ceiling. The white and pink blossoms stood out against the greenery, a flurry of floating blossoms seeming to drift in the wind. After hours of research, you found UV paint and glow in the dark paint. You outlined the tree and some blossoms. You added small details in your mural, working a lot later than you normally had, determined to finish this soon.
By the time you finished detailing, you gasped in wonder as the paint glowed brightly, seeming to shine brighter than the night life down below. The next and last day, you took the UV paint, marking up the mural with tiny messages. Satisfied, you sat on the couch, taking in the view of your finished mural. You were proud of the work you produced, stopping to admire it while you were cleaning up the studio. Before you left for the day, you left a little bag on the counter with a note.
“Can you believe we’ve almost been dating for 4 years?” Hyunjin smiled as he held you close, his arms wrapped around you, blanketing you with his warmth.
“Speaking of which, I planned dinner at the restaurant we went to on our first date tomorrow.”
“Really? Do you think your message is still by that table in the corner?” Hyunjin’s eyes shined, recalling the memory.
On your first date with him, you both went to this small local restaurant. It was cozy yet elegant in its own way. After finishing your meals, you pointed at the wall next to the table, decorated with messages from its many visitors. “For good luck?” Hyunjin shrugged, pretending not to seem overly excited. “Sure.” You found an open area on the wall, scribbling the date. You thought for a moment before writing Y/n & Hyun - our first date ~ Hyunjin tried his best to hide his smile as you got up to use the restroom. Unbeknownst to you, he stood up and wrote a message of his own near the ceiling, convinced you’d never see his wish for luck.
“Good morning darling. Happy anniversary~” You woke up to a decorated room, the walls of your shared room covered in many sketches and drawings.
“What is this?” Walking over to the walls, you read off the writing on a smaller sketch. “‘The 73rd thing I love about you. Your sleeping patterns.’” The sketch depicted a person, presumably yourself, curled up like a koala. You laughed and looked at other sketches. “‘The 12th thing I love about you. Your hugs.’ ‘The 5th thing I love about you. Your smile.’ ‘The 1st thing I love about you. You.’ Aw Jinnie… I love it so much. It’s beautiful. I love you so much. Happy anniversary my love.” You hugged your boyfriend tightly, kissing him lovingly.
“Where is it…” Your finger traced the walls, scanning for your message. “Found it! Right here, look!” You pointed at your faded handwriting, smiling brightly. You drew a heart near your previous message and wrote a new one. Happy 4 years to the one I love. “I don’t remember if you wrote one. I don’t think you did, did you?”
“I did write one. Honestly, I was completely head over heels for you when I first met you…So I wrote one in secret. Didn’t want to scare you away if you knew how much I cared about you.” Hyunjin blushed, looking away from you before searching the writing near the ceiling, pointing at the corner. I know it has to be you, so please let it be you. Underneath was a small cherry blossom, a symbol of when you first met Hyunjin.
“Speaking of cherry blossoms… It's time for me to show you your gift.” Taking him to the tall building, Hyunjin was confused, unsure of what you could be referring to.
“Oh my god. Did you buy this building?” He paled slightly, making you laugh.
“Why does everyone think I’m gonna buy a building?!” Shaking your head with a smile, you took him up to the studio, placing the key in his hand. “Happy anniversary, darling.” Hyunjin nervously unlocked the studio, gasping at the sight.
“A new studio? For me? This is your gift? Oh my god.” You flipped the lights on. The mural was fully revealed, nearly bringing your boyfriend to tears. “I…” He rushed to feel the wall, tracing the blossoms. “Cherry blossoms. When we first met…”
“This isn’t even the best part.” You grinned, relishing in how emotionally touched he was.
“There’s more?!” He nearly shrieked, trying to figure out the tricks you hid up your sleeves.
“Close your eyes.” Hyunjin hesitantly closed his eyes, anxious for the rest of your surprise. You turned off the lights, waiting for the paint to glow again. The low glow of the paint illuminated part of the room. “Open.”
Hyunjin stared, mouth agape at the glowing mural. Tearing up, he sniffled, coming to hug you tightly.“It’s beautiful. I love it so much. I… don’t even have the words to express how much I love this. It’s stunning…”
“Go grab the bag on the counter.” Hyunjin reluctantly peeled himself off you, sniffling as he grabbed the small bag off the counter. “Go ahead, turn it on.” Reaching inside, he revealed a UV light. He turned it on, waving it around. “No you goofball, point it at the wall.”Slowly but surely, the UV messages you spent writing all over the mural revealed themselves. Your boyfriend was full on sobbing, sitting by the wall, tracing your messages with his finger. Looking back at you with tears streaming down his face, he made grabby hands towards you, making you come over to him, hugging him and laughing.
“Don’t look at meee…” Hyunjin sniffled, wiping his face with his sweater sleeve as he read your messages aloud. “‘I expect my kisses in two weeks' time.’ ‘If you find this, I may or may not have used up all of your green paint.’” Hyunjin laughed, still crying as he buried his face in your shoulder. “I love you. I love you so much. I thought you bought me a whole entire building… Maybe I should do that. Buy you a building so we can paint every room, every wall, everything. I’m gonna paint the world for you.” Giggling, you wiped his tears, pressing a quick kiss to his lips.
“Gonna paint my endless love for you.”

Ultra-modern tasteful gay-core Sims 4 Phouse (or rather, my take on a Phouse)
I love building in the Sims and I felt inspired to build a house based off what Dan has shared he likes in decor. Then I thought what even was the point of building a house inspired by Dan if Phil is not a part of it, so I built a phouse. I think I demolished my build around 5 times before I finally got something I was happy with.
Also check out @danisnotonfirebrand's Phouse build as well as @vampiregway's Dan and Phil Sims :D I used a fair amount of cc (Harrie and Felix, Myshuno Sun, Pierisim, The Clutter Cat, My Cup of CC)
Here's the house from the front. There are minimal windows on the outer sides of the house largely for privacy reasons. I still didn't close off the front of the house because aesthetics and it is the Sims
Here's a top-down view of the house and the floorplan. The house is constructed in a C-shape around a central courtyard with a Japanese oak in the center. This allows for floor-to-ceiling windows and an indoor-outdoor feel/view of nature without compromising on privacy.
The entryway and hallways are fairly minimal, I didn't want to clutter them up with too much furniture. The downstairs toilet and stairs are housed in the entryway. The black walls carry up to the first floor. This is also the first time I've used that side table from Blooming Rooms
The sexy, moody watercloset. POV you're shitting. I ended up using the labia lights...they're funny but also...some of the best ceiling lights in the game. Sorry for the fish-eye in a few of these screenshots, it was the only way
The hallway comes off the entryway and leads to the kitchen. It also houses the doorway to the office and an exit the courtyard with a moss lawn
The office.... I'll be honest, I didn't do much with the office. There is a "video station" but it's ugly and didn't fit so I didn't use it. I didn't feel like creating a filming set-up either ( Designer chair #1 (Grete Jalk Bow Chair)
The kitchen. They used the barstools from Harrie in the new sims house and that made me happy so I used them here too. Sexy under-cabinet lighting, a coffee bar, a spacious island, a view to the outside, and an indoor plant wall. I'm not showing the pantry because..boring, but it's there
The dining room... I realised trying to put the grand piano in the living room was way too ambitious and the dining room was looking a bit bare, so it ended up in the dining room.
The living room. Look, I built the house with a picture window in the living room to frame the Christmas tree from the outside so here's a shot with the tree and without the tree. It feels a bit bare to me but it was also the last room I decorated (Samsung framed TV) (Designer Chair #2 (Eames Loung chair))
Upstairs hallway/stair landing. Another picture window this time actually framing a view of the outside as opposed to the inside. A built-in succulent planter. Also leads to the only bathroom and the front balcony
The bathroom. This room was such a pain and I'm still not fully satisfied with it but alas (there was not enough wall space for all the towels). A large walk-in shower, a backlit mirror, closed storage under the sink, and a bathtub in front of a window overlooking the courtyard. (I chose the largest tub I could find even though it doesn't matter since all sims are the same height
Phil's bedroom. Went for more colour in here. The tiny twavellers tree bookcase has a lion plushy on one of the shelves :D Also I wanted just the slightest hints of post-modern design. Look, I know they said they're "carpet in the bedroom" kind of people, but I simply refuse, so I gave them fluffy rugs instead.
Phil's room has a balcony with a lounger and a small fountain which overlooks the green roof over the dining room.
Dan's bedroom. I regret not being able to fit walk-in closets but oh well. Instead of a balcony, this room has a fireplace (I figured it was best to not give Phil the room with the fireplace), there is a balcony right outside this bedroom tho, so that's basically Dan's balcony. Also the ZZ plant whoops. (Designer Chair #3 (Eames rocking chair))
#I am so happy with this build! I feel it's one of my best yet#This isn't really mean to be a replica of the phouse nor a speculation i just used them (mostly Dan) as my muse for a build#It's been a while since I've been able to complete a build so I'm really pleased#dan and phil#dnp#sims 4#irving rambles#sims 4 build

I don't believe it! Remember these "Stairs That Can Kill You" I posted a few days ago? Well, I just stumbled across the whole house on a real estate site. What a find. Check it out.
The 1989 home is located in Bowdon, UK and was sold for £1.350M / S1.639M. 4bds, 3ba, and killer stairs w/a matching hallway.
I'm surprised that the first we encounter as we enter are the death stairs. And, look, it's the death hall above.
Let's look at the 1st fl. and then we'll go back to the stairs. This is a nice sunny part of the living room.
The living room is huge. Isn't that a fascinating feature- the columns standing in the middle as a divider. Then, on this end is a fireplace. I don't think I like the carpet. It's too much in a large space.
The dining room also has the same sunny windows.
The kitchen is kind of quirky- look at the island. There's also a loveseat, in here. The kitchen table is in a lovely sunroom, though.
Spacious family room.
A home office.
And, a roomy guest powder room.
Okay, we've come full circle to the infamous stairs. Note the absence of railings.
This is perilous and I can't think of any reason at all for the openings in the floor. And, not even a railing for safety.
The primary bedroom is large and has doors to a terrace.
In the poorly designed en-suite, one must use the toilet, then underwear around the ankles, hop around the tub (mind the step) to get to the bidet.
Pretty, peachy secondary bedroom has a nice round stained glass window.
At least the toilet is in closer proximity to the bidet.
I like the blue accents in this bedroom, the window, and the ceiling beams.
The 3rd bath is nice and finally, the toilet and the bidet are correctly placed side by side.
In the back of the house you can see the lovely sunrooms.
The property is gated.
That sign should say "Home of the Death Stairs and Hall."
