Da oggi è disponibile in digital download e in streaming “Il dilemma del Delay-Lama”, il nuovo disco della Vinnie Jonez Band, formazione alternative rock romana che negli ultimi cinque anni si è fatta conoscere ed apprezzare dalla scena nazionale grazie alle sue granitiche sonorità. “Il Dilemma del Delay-Lama”,  anticipato dal singolo “Montecristo” e che arriva a poco più di un anno dall’EP “Più calmo di te”, riconferma con le sue nove tracce la forza compositiva della Vinnie Jonez Band e il suo sound impattante, trascinato da chitarre distorte, tempi dispari e sintetizzatori.

Vinnie Jonez Band: in questo disco ci sono i denominatori comuni di sempre, ma nonostante tutto questo siamo comunque di fronte ad un lavoro diverso, un lavoro nuovo, con le sue sorprese. Nove brani composti tra fine 2019 e inizio 2020 durante la promozione del precedente “Più calmo di te”, nove brani scritti di getto, senza pensare troppo a come sarebbero potuti o dovuti essere, il disco rispecchia e rispetta la dimensione live: due chitarre, basso, batteria, synth e voce.

“Il dilemma del Delay-Lama” è stato scritto e composto da Gianluca Sacchi. Arrangiamenti della Vinnie Jonez Band. Registrato al Littlehome Studio, Palestrina. La batteria è stata registrata a Hell Smell Studio, Roma. Missato da Alessandro Gavazzi, Hell Smell Studio. Tecnico del suono: Alessandro Gavazzi, Gianluca Sacchi. Grafiche: Mind Production. La Vinnie Jonez Band è gruppo alternative-rock italiano formatosi a Palestrina, in provincia di Roma, agli inizi del 2015.La band costruisce sin da subito un proprio stile molto riconoscibile e personale condito da influenze post-grunge e stoner ma anche contaminato dal panorama alternative italiano. Dopo soltanto un paio di mesi di vita la band entra in studio e dà alle stampe “Supernothing”, anticipato dal videoclip di “To the mountains”, un EP di cinque brani che farà da apripista e permetterà alla band di fare i primi concerti ed ottenere le prime attenzioni dalla stampa specializzata e non. Motivati dal largo consenso ottenuto i quattro scrivono nuovi brani ed a fine 2016 entrano in studio per registrare “Nessuna cortesia all’uscita”, che diventerà il primo full lenght della band. Il disco esce per Karma Conspiracy Records e, anche grazie al passaggio ai testi in italiano, già da subito ottiene un grande successo di critica: la storica rivista Rumore lo definirà come “assolutamente eccellente”. Con i videoclip di “Corri” e “Nessuna cortesia” la band comincia a fare il giro delle radio, fa concerti in tutta Italia ed ottiene quella consapevolezza che la porterà, tra un live ed un altro a scrivere nuovi brani che poi nel 2019 faranno parte di “Più calmo di te”, altro EP di cinque brani trainato dal video de “Il paese respira” che Rockit definirà “Un lavoro infuocato e a tinte fosche che mostra una band sempre più sicura di sè e del proprio percorso”. Nel 2020 la band chiude la scrittura e registra “Il dilemma del Delay-Lama”, secondo full lenght e quarto lavoro in soli 5 anni di vita, che vedrà la luce nei primi mesi del 2021. Il disco è anticipato dal video del primo singolo estratto, “Montecristo”.
