Dorms Bra Shopping pt 4
Scarabia Dorm
Hearslybyul SavannahClaw Octavinelle Scarabia (you are here) Pomfoire Ignihyde Daisomnia Other
Kalim
With how many siblings he has he has somewhat a basic knowledge about bras. But I don't think he was welcomed to go shopping with everyone, so he doesn't know everything most bra wearers know. He very much is in the same ball park as Azul where he calls his family, a big call with like twelve of his sisters to help teach him a bit. He is exited now! barely sleeps the night before cause he's so excited! If he is still super upbeat and happy the morning of, but the eye bags he wears are definitely name brand!
His sisters were not the best of help to be honest, instead telling him what they like. Expensive silks, super fancy ones. So if you prefer the basics, more comfortable ones, good luck with him. He keeps leading you towards the fancy ones, just cause he loves you and loves his sisters and wants everyone to be happy. Eventually you're able to convince him
He will be paying though, and definitely gets one specially made for you with a bunch of rubies. He loves his shiny items, he's like a bird. Maybe even finds a special top that is used for special occasions in the Scalding Sands. It definitely has a bunch of golden coins that jingle when you walk. Hopefully you're not too sensitive cause the coins bouncing against your torso can be a bit ticklish
He is a bit controlling by the way, so he's pushing what he wants you to wear regardless of what you like. If you like the same as his sisters, or differently, he ends up letting his own opinions guide him a bit. Lots of shiny bits, deep reds and gold colors and pretty sets with bras, panties and socks, some even have matching robes and slippers! He is dressing you like the royalty you are! NO CHOICES!
Afterwards, you Kalim and Jamil go to a fancy restaurant, Jamil was quite absent during the trip, honestly avoiding you both. He may work for Kalim, but he is too terrified of seeing your intimates to be too close! He doesn't want to know what you're wearing under your clothes. You owe him now, so you end up babysitting Kalim after the date doing a fashion show or something while Jamil relaxes a bit.
Jamil
knows the most out of anyone surprisingly, even more than Vil or Trey! Najima and him are truly siblings, so he always went to chase off the creeps in the stores. He's also kinda amazing at most things, so he knows alot of random things! He probably knows how to deliver a baby and how to defuse a bomb. Though he does call Najima and his mom for a refresher on everything. Which turns into Najima teasing him, and his parents both trying to know more about you.
That being said, his family isn’t the richest, so he offers to help pay but he probably can’t pay for it all by himself. Not unless Kalim hands over some thousand because he overheard you two talking. You end up at a basic place to look through everything. Jamil had to basically tie Kalim to a chair to keep him from joining in on your date. Please be okay with Jamil periodically checking his phone. He needs to make sure Kalim doesn’t die.
Jamil is more like Kalim than he likes to think, he also likes the deep reds, golds and shiny bits, but he likes the less over the top than Kalim. That being said, he has worked for his entire life so he actually chooses more comfortable and cheaper options than what his eye is naturally drawn too. But if given free reign, definitely a deep red with gold and glittery accents. Might buy himself a deep red boxer briefs too! If you yeast him that you’re matching he hides in his hood.
Jamil hates fast food, and isn’t gonna spend half a bajillion at a fancy restaurant, so he packs a lunch and let me tell you! His food is WAY better than anything you could buy! Makes your favorite if he knows it, and brings a few sides as well. For desert it’s some freshly cut fruits, which you both share, passing the bits between you two. It’s sickeningly sweet and everyone who passes you two gets cavities immediately.
He’s a bit floaty for the rest of the day, not all giggly and soft, but a bit more in his own head, he is calmer, not as irritable. Floyd could chuck a basketball at his head and while he would still dodge it, he just keeps doing his thing, thinking of how cute you are, and how much you liked his food! He’s planning on inviting you for a date at the dorms next time, a nice cooking date.

Sunkissed
Summary: After a fun day at a Human World beach, the brothers realize they're sunburned.
Characters: The demon brothers and GN Reader/MC (it could be Asmodeus x Reader if you squint because this is my fic and hey, you're the one who came to the Asmo kissing blog).
Genre: Sickfic (kinda), humor, fluff
Warnings: Canon-typical sibling on sibling violence, sunburn, nonsexual nudity, mild canon-typical innuendo, no major spoilers but MC is in possession of a certain object they obtain in season 2.
***
“I might have to get rid of that new toner we bought, MC,” said Asmo as he held the door open for you. “My face hurts.”
“Really? My skin feels fine.” You’d known demon skin to be stronger than your own in most cases, so this was perplexing.
Asmo had purchased the toner with you only three days ago from a Human World store famous for selling the most exclusive skincare. It had gone viral online despite its steep price tag, so naturally Asmo had to buy it.
Asmo gasped. “You don’t suppose it contains holy water, do you?”
“That’s not really a common skincare ingredient in the Human World,” you said.
“Humans don’t use it to purify their skin?” He asked.
You shook your head, suppressing a laugh. “But maybe there's something else in the toner that doesn't agree with your skin, let’s take a look at the bottle.”
“Ok! I’ll go get it. And while I'm at it I’ll prepare a bath for the two of us,” He slipped his arm around your waist, leaning into you with his charming smile.
“Maybe…” you said, bumping him gently with your hip.
“We can even try out those bath salts I brought back for you, wouldn't that be nice?”
You had to admit a relaxing bath did sound nice right now. You and the brothers were just coming in from a day at the private beach Diavolo owned in the Human World. The beach was protected by a magical barrier, cloaking it from anyone not authorized to be there. You and the brothers were free to do whatever you wished, including using magic.
It had been a very full day. In the morning you'd surfed a little with Beel, needing to relearn most of what he’d taught you before. And then as soon as you got back to shore, you’d been pulled into a water fight “to the death” that had begun when Satan dumped a handful of sand down Lucifer’s rash guard while he was resting in the shade. You’d mostly been used as a shield between Satan and Mammon against Lucifer. You didn't really mind, though, since you got to see Lucifer's conflicted expression every time he faced you; not that it had really saved you in the end, you’d ended up soaked anyway. Then, Asmo had whisked you away to collect shells in the water with him, with the assistance of mercandy. You’d so enjoyed being merpeople together on your last beach trip that this was truly a treat to experience again. In the water you’d gotten to watch Levi swimming with Lotan, from a distance, of course. Satisfied with the shells you’d collected, you and Asmo dragged yourselves back onto the beach and fell asleep under the umbrella with Belphie, completely exhausted from all the swimming you’d done. You hadn't woken up until the sun had shifted and you were no longer in the shade. At the end of the day, you and the brothers got to watch porpoises breaching in the distance as the sunset lit the sea in shades of pink and gold.
You were grateful the beach Diavolo had lent you came with a vacation home (more like a mansion) just steps away from the shore.
“I call the first shower!” Mammon declared, kicking off his flip-flops.
Levi grabbed his arm before he could run up the stairs. “No, I get the first shower. There’s a raid starting in an hour and I want to login early.”
“Too bad, little bro,” Mammon wrenched his arm out of Levi’s grip. “Hierarchy says I get to go first since I'm older.”
“Really, Mammon, if that’s the case then I’ll be taking the first shower.” said Lucifer.
The three oldest brothers shared one of the mansion’s bathrooms, while the youngest shared another (minus Asmo, since Barbatos had set up a portal to his bathroom at the House of Lamentation). You had your own private bathroom as well, but you didn't mind letting the brothers use it from time to time. It seemed like that would be happening tonight if you ever hoped to have a peaceful dinner.
“One of you can use my bathroom tonight,” You left the three oldest brothers in the foyer to argue, now that an offer to use your bathroom was on the table. You needed some water, you were starting to get a headache, you’d probably had too much sun.
Beel was already in the kitchen, rummaging through the fridge for something. Belphie was nearby, sitting at the kitchen island as he rested his cheek on the cool marble counter.
“We’ll have dinner soon, Beel, I just need a drink of water and I’ll get started cooking.”
Beel tossed you a water bottle before grabbing one for himself.
“Can I have a snack while I wait?” He bit into a nectarine, coming to lean against the counter.
“Well you’ve already started.” You teased. You took a long drink of water, mentally checking off all the ingredients you’d need to start dinner. Hopefully one or two of the brothers would agree to assist you, it would go much faster with help.
Beel rolled his cool water bottle against his neck, “I think I missed a spot when I reapplied my sunscreen,” he said. “Can you take a look for me?”
“Sure,” you slipped off the sunglasses you were still wearing as Beel turned around for you. “Oh, Beel I think-”
A blood-curdling scream tore through the mansion.
“Wha-” Belphie woke with a start.
You took of running upstairs, towards the source of the scream. You and the twins were the last to arrive at Asmo’s bathroom.
Asmo threw himself into your arms. “Oh, MC! I’m hideous!” He began to cry. His face was red everywhere except where his sunglasses had been, leaving a white impression of their shape behind, “I don't know how you can bear to look at me!”
“Asmo, you’re not hideous,” You stroked his hair. “I don’t think that’s even possible.”
“I’m not?” He sniffed.
“Not at all, you’re just a little…” You trailed off as you looked around the room. Lucifer, Levi, Satan, Beel, and Belphie (in addition to Asmo) were all severely sunburned. Several of them had already begun to shift uncomfortably. “You’re all-”
“MAMMON WHAT DID YOU DO?” Satan roared. Judging by the dark aura surrounding him, he was about to shift into his demon form.
“Wha’da’ya mean, what did I do?” Mammon ran to hide behind you for protection.
“Clearly this is your fault,” he seethed, the aura beginning to dissipate a little since you were in front of him, but his eyes were on Mammon, “We’ve been cursed, you probably wronged some Human World witch and now we’re all paying for it.”
“While that does sound like something he’d-” Lucifer began.
“You’re not cursed,” said Mammon, cutting him off. “You just have a sunburn.”
Satan paused. “You're saying this happened because we were outside in the sunlight?”
“Yeah,”
“Is this true, MC?” He looked at you.
You nodded, “It happens to some humans, too.”
“I did remind you to reapply your sunscreen earlier, Satan.” said Lucifer.
Satan growled. “I didn't think it would actually do anything. I’ve never had a sunburn before.” You noticed the new freckles sprinkled across his nose and cheeks. He would have looked so adorable if not for the anger glowing in his eyes.
“Really?” Beel asked.
“Me and Beel and Asmo used to get sunburned all the time when we snuck down to the Human World.” said Belphie.
“That was before sunscreen existed,” Asmo added. “I would never go out without putting it on now. Earlier I just–” He burst into tears again.
Belphie ignored him, continuing to talk to Satan, “You’ve been here a fair amount and it’s never happened?”
“I’m typically summoned to the Human World at night.” Satan answered flatly. “As are most demons, I’d wager.”
“Satan, your poor, virgin skin!” Asmo sobbed.
“My what?”
“Did anyone remember to reapply?” Lucifer pinched the bridge of his nose, recalling that even he hadn’t remembered after the water fight, and then he’d even removed his rash guard, exposing himself further.
“I remembered, and I also put some on Belphie’s face,” said Beel. “But we got burned anyway,”
“What sunscreen did you use?” You asked.
“This one I got from Mammon,” Beel handed you his bottle of sunscreen. You read the label, it was 20 years past its expiration date and the brand name was misspelled.
You shot Mammon a look over your shoulder.
“Must’a got mixed up with my newer stock– uh, purchases.” he lied.
You looked around at the demons in front of you. All six of them were varying shades of red. Satan and Levi seemed to be in the worst condition as they’d been in full sun for most of the day. Asmo, Lucifer, and the twins hadn’t fared much better despite taking advantage of the umbrella’s shade. You could feel the heat of Asmo’s skin on yours, plus more warmth radiating off of Satan. It had to be so painful.
Satan turned back to you and Mammon. “Why don't you two seem to be affected?”
“I don’t get sunburns,” Mammon smirked before ducking behind you again when Satan turned his glare on him.
“Father blessed him with a golden tan complexion,” Asmo pouted. “He was like that when we were angels, too.”
“And you, MC, are you immune like Mammon or do you have some sort of talisman against the rays of the sun?” Satan asked. “I don’t understand how a human could be unaffected when we are all suffering.”
“I don’t have any special talismans, I put on sunscreen before I went outside just like everyone else,” You looked down at your arms. You hadn't been sunburned at all, and you hadn't reapplied your sunscreen either. Your eyes caught on the gold ring you wore on your finger.
“You might have been protected by my Ring of Light,” Lucifer said with a small smile, echoing your thoughts almost exactly.
The others nodded. It was a very powerful magical relic.
“Well now that we've cleared that up,” Satan said through thinly veiled rage. “How long is this agony supposed to last? It feels like spiders are crawling all over my skin.”
You really didn't want to tell him. Judging by the severity of his sunburn it might be… “A week?” you said. “Sometimes it takes longer. But most of the pain occurs in the first few days or so.”
Satan looked like he was about to explode with rage or drown Mammon in the bathtub. Maybe both.
Lucifer cut in before he could do anything. “As we are demons, our cell turnover is faster than humans, which will shorten our recovery time. It will be about 48 hours until we fully heal, I’d estimate, but that also means we’ll be feeling the worst of it tonight.”
***
You sent the sunburned demons downstairs to the living room, directing them to ice their skin while they waited, so you and Mammon could collect supplies. The mansion was well-stocked thanks to Diavolo and Barbatos preparing it for you ahead of time, but only with Human World essentials. They had wanted you to feel right at home. You doubted the brothers kept very many potion ingredients in their rooms, and definitely not anything that could give relief from a sunburn.
You had Mammon fetch the first aid kit from the kitchen cabinet while you looked through Asmo’s and Lucifer’s skincare collections to see if they had any skin-soothing products. When you were finished, the two of you deposited your loot on the living room’s coffee table. Mammon had found a tiny tube of lidocaine cream, one packet of colloidal oatmeal, and a small jar of aloe gel. You’d come up with a bottle of unscented body lotion and two small tubes of expensive healing ointment; you’d also found a half-full bottle of demon-strength ibuprofen in Lucifer's things, which would definitely be needed to get through the next couple of days. These were your only supplies. You might be able to get the aloe gel to stretch between your six sunburn victims but it would be pretty scarce. As for everything else… you’d cross that bridge when you got there.
Asmo and Beel got started slathering healing ointment and lotion on Belphie who was whining in his sleep.
You scooped some aloe gel into your hand so you could administer care to Satan as Mammon did the same with Levi.
Satan started reciting cat poems under his breath as you rubbed the cool gel into his skin as gently as you could.
“MC, there’s a bottle of Demonus in the basement fridge.” said Lucifer. He sat next to you, his perfect posture rigid, as if moving at all would cause him immense pain. “When you have a moment, please go get it.”
“Demonus would be really nice right now,” Asmo hummed, pressing a generous amount of healing ointment onto his own cheeks.
You gave a sympathetic smile, “You both know that’s just going to dehydrate you and make your skin feel worse.”
You knocked two ibuprofen into Lucifer’s palm as consolation. He gave you a look, taking the bottle from you. He poured out four more into his hand and then passed the rest to Asmo.
SMACK
Levi screamed at the top of his lungs.
“MAMMON!” You and Lucifer yelled at the same time.
You rushed to Levi’s side only to see the perfectly white handprint of Mammon’s slap contrasting with his lobster red skin. Levi began to cry, inhaling a ragged breath as tears started streaming down his face.
“He insulted me after all I’m doin’ for him?” Mammon defended himself. “He called me a scumbag!”
“Go help Lucifer,” you snapped.
“Ok, ok, I’m goin’.”
Levi couldn’t catch his breath, his shoulders convulsing as his sobs came out in a silent cry. It was a bit disturbing.
You gently placed your hand on the handprint. “May the vestiges of pain that linger within the demon before me be eliminated.” A gold flash sparkled under your hand as you recited the spell. Levi slumped against your shoulder, breathing once more. For once, he wasn't embarrassed that his bare skin was touching yours.
“Are you ok?” you asked him.
He sniffed a few times, still shaking, “The pain from the slap is gone but my skin still feels like it’s on fire,” he said, wiping away a tear.
You had a feeling the healing spell wouldn't be strong enough. It had been worth a try, though.
“MC,” Satan called your attention from the other side of the couch. “The aloe gel has dried and the infernal itching has returned.” He squirmed in his seat.
“Here, try this,” Mammon slid an ice pack over Satan’s shoulders.
“THAT’S MAKING IT WORSE!” Satan tore the ice pack from Mammon’s hands, throwing it at his face and knocking his sunglasses off.
“Ow!” Mammon rubbed the red mark just beginning to bloom on his cheek.
You sighed. This was proving more difficult than you’d expected. There wasn’t enough aloe gel to apply on each brother twice. You needed to come up with a solution.
“Is there any chance we can use a duplication spell on this?” You slid the jar to Mammon, who was still holding his cheek in pain.
He picked up the jar and scanned over the ingredients list. “There’s too much stuff in here, between the two of us we might end up with somethin’ similar but there’s also a chance it’ll make everything worse. I ain’t Lord Diavolo.”
You looked at the dwindling supplies on the table. Asmo and Beel had already exhausted the first tube of healing ointment. “That means we can’t duplicate any of that, either?”
“Probably not.”
“I’m hungry,” Beel complained.
Right. Everyone still needed dinner.
Lucifer handed you his credit card before Mammon had a chance to register what was happening. “Just buy anything we need. Supplies, takeout, I really don’t care right now.” He picked up the tube of lidocaine cream and squeezed the entire contents into his hand, rubbing half of it into his own chest and the other half into Satan’s shoulders.
Well, that certainly made things easier. You turned on an animated movie for them to watch while you and Mammon went to the kitchen. You picked a random takeout menu that was stuck to the fridge and ordered meals for everyone, and Mammon sat at the island and searched Akuzon for sunburn relief products on his D.D.D.
“Does Akuzon even deliver to the Human World?” You asked as you hung up the phone.
“They do for demon lords,” said Mammon as he added another item to the cart. “Levi pays for the premium shipping rate so they deliver anywhere.”
“You’re using Levi’s account?”
“Got locked outta mine…”
You sat next to him, helping him choose the best products to heal his brothers’ damaged skin. Lots of aloe gel and healing ointment, analgesic products too. You also purchased a balm that was supposedly infused with magic to speed up the healing process. The bill would be several hundred Grimm but you didn't think Lucifer would mind, considering the circumstances.
“We got three hour delivery, we just gotta keep ‘em happy ‘till then.” said Mammon.
“NO!” Asmo shrieked from the other room, right as the doorbell rang.
“That’s probably the food,” Mammon sighed, “Do you wanna find out what Asmo’s problem is or should I?”
You pressed your hand to your heart, your pulse still racing from being startled. “It would be better if I went to him,” You were less likely to start a fight between the brothers just by entering the room.
Mammon went to answer the door while you returned to the living room.
“Is everything alright?” You asked tentatively.
“Everything is not alright,” said Asmo. “How dare those disgusting eels tip over their boat, Ariel was just about to get her true love’s kiss!”
You breathed a sigh of relief. It was just about the movie.
“Mmm, eel…” Beel was almost drooling.
“Would the kiss have even worked?” Satan mused. “How could it be true love, Eric just barely learned her name and they’ve known each other for two days.”
“I wonder,” you smiled.
“Come sit with me, darling,” Asmo pulled you onto the couch between him and Lucifer, nuzzling into you, his skin still feverishly warm, “This movie is wonderful. Have you seen the sea witch’s makeup? I should try something like that for fun, don’t you think? It’s such an iconic look.”
They all seemed really into it, which left you pleasantly surprised. Satan was trying to figure out if the story would end the bittersweet way the original fairytale did, Lucifer argued that it wouldn't be appropriate for a children’s movie to end tragically; their conversation was very lighthearted and almost academic. Levi was using his tablet to draft cosplays of various characters from the film, asking you who you wanted to be. Beel was commenting about all the fish he’d like to eat every time they appeared onscreen, while Belphie hummed along to the score. Mammon brought in the food and then everyone was glad to eat while finishing the movie.
There wasn't a dry eye as the credits rolled after Ariel finally got her happy ending with her prince. Not even yours. A mermaid leaving her family to live with her true love in another realm, the irony wasn't lost on you.
“That was great,” said Mammon, dabbing at a tear with a handkerchief, “Should we watch another?”
Belphie’s shoulders shook as he cried quietly.
“What's wrong, Belphie?” Beel asked as all eyes turned to the youngest.
“M-my skin st-still h-hurts,” he hiccuped.
You were worried about that. They’d all been distracted by the movie for a while, the pain was bound to kick in once it ended.
“I’m starting to feel it again, too.” Lucifer popped a few more ibuprofen capsules.
“How much longer until the delivery, Mammon?” You asked.
He checked his D.D.D. “They’re a hundred stops away, should get here by ten.”
“That's two and a half hours from now,”
The brothers began to complain. You didn't blame them, they were still suffering, but it was starting to give you a headache on top of the one you already had. You needed to placate them and clearly Disney movies weren't enough.
They'd used up all of the supplies, the empty containers littering the table. All that was left was the packet of colloidal oatmeal. You picked it up.
Ingredients: Colloidal oatmeal 100%
“Everyone upstairs to Asmo’s bathroom,” you instructed. You took Mammon by the wrist and led him to the kitchen.
“Now what?” He asked.
“This has only one ingredient,” You held up the packet.
“So we can duplicate it. Good idea, MC!”
Mammon helped you locate a large mixing bowl and you emptied the packet into it. You both waved your hands over the bowl, reciting the duplication spell in unison. You had to repeat the spell six times to have enough for what you needed to do.
When you got upstairs, the brothers were all standing around the bathroom looking very uncomfortable, Asmo had already started filling the tub.
“Everyone needs to strip,” you tossed each of them a towel.
The room broke out in half-hearted groans. You were sure if their faces weren't so red from sunburn, most of them would have been blushing.
“It’s nothing I haven't seen before,” you said, rolling your eyes.
“What?” Mammon’s gaze shot to you.
“Nothing…” you gave an innocent smile.
Mammon crossed his arms, muttering something to himself.
“I c- I can’t strip in front of my brothers!” Levi whined.
“It’s no different than bathing at the hot springs,”
“Yeah but I usually–”
You raised an eyebrow, “Are you really in a position to be complaining, Leviathan?”
“N-no…” Levi sniffed.
“MC, look over here, ” Asmo cooed, winking. “I can strip for you, like a good boy.” He swayed his hips, dropping the towel from his shoulders. “Doo doo-doo doo-doo doo doo doo,” he was singing his own sexy background music.
You just stared at him.
Asmo bent down, giving you what was supposed to be a sensual smile, his lips curved wobbly and his eyes were hazed with pain and unshed tears as he moved. But the show must go on, as they say. “Touch me, tease me, feel me up,” He tossed his hair, sliding his hands to the waistband of his swim shorts, beginning to roll them down. “Touch me, tease me, feel me– AHH!” He screamed as the fabric brushed against his inflamed skin.
“Asmo!”
His swim shorts dropped to the ground unceremoniously, as he writhed in pain. Everywhere the shorts had previously covered was porcelain white. He squeaked, picking up the towel to cover himself. This was not how he wanted you to see him.
The others followed suit in a less dramatic fashion, all stripping out of their swimwear, some more bashful than others for being naked in front of you. You and Mammon dumped the contents of the bowl into the tub, allowing the running water to mix it around.
“Get in,” you said.
And they obeyed.
There was just enough room for the six of them to fit in the tub comfortably. They all relaxed in the warm water, their skin finally feeling soothed. They were quiet. Belphie fell asleep right away, and Satan’s eyes no longer glowed with barely concealed rage.
You sat down on the padded bench next to the tub, your muscles untensing at last, Mammon passed you a water bottle and a single demon-strength ibuprofen, just enough for a human headache.
“Thanks,” you took it, sinking deeper into the bench’s soft cushion.
“I’m gonna go put some music on,” he said.
“Sure, go ahead,” You said, your eyes slipping closed.
When Mammon returned with the portable speaker, you were fast asleep.
“Shh…” said Lucifer.
Mammon set the speaker down and lifted you into his arms.
“Thank you, MC,” the brothers each whispered as Mammon carried you off to your bedroom for a well-deserved rest.
“Sleep well,” said Mammon.

character: todoroki touya | dabi
genre: smut
notes: aaah i was bikini shopping earlier today and i could not for the life of me stop thinking about going bikini shopping with touya-nii and how much of an absolutely menace he would be, so i decided to write a lil something real quick!! set in my touya-nii au!
warnings: 18+ minors do not interact, stepcest, semi-public sex, a hint of degradation, toxic relationship, size difference, minimal prep
words: 1.7k
synopsis:
And you wish you could say you don’t want it—don’t want his cock splitting you open right here, right now, surrounded by all of these strangers; don’t want those people hearing your poorly suppressed moans and wails of his name, a muddled mess of letters on your sloppy tongue; don’t want them all to notice the way the stall is trembling under the force of Touya’s thrusts, a large hand clamped around the frail change room door as he uses it as leverage to fuck you into the corner—but that’d be a bold faced lie.
You want it just as badly as he does.
And he fucking knows it, too.
And he fucking loves it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The sun hangs high and proud in the stark blue sky, painting the boardwalk in translucent gold. A gentle breeze carries with it the scents of sticky sweet coconut sunscreen, the salt of the sea, and the grit of the sand, combining to create a delicate perfume that clings to your damp skin.
The crystal windows of the shops scattered along the outskirts of the beach glint in the harsh sun, the glaring rays partially obscuring the storefront displays, teasingly revealing bits and pieces of themselves, enticing patrons closer for a better look.
Your hands are still syrupy with melted ice cream, your fingers still encrusted with sugar from your waffle cone, and you stick a digit into your mouth, sucking it clean in contemplation.
“What is it, princess?” Touya asks the moment he realizes something has caught your attention, squinting in the late afternoon sun as he scans the stores.
“That pink bikini,” you mumble around your finger, prompting Touya to sigh in slight exasperation and pull it free from your mouth. “It’s so cute,”
“You want it?” he’s asking, though his hands are already patting his pockets, a halfhearted attempt to locate his wallet.
But you don’t need to answer. He already knows. He’s already decided.
Neither of you had planned on going shopping today, but Touya shouldn’t necessarily be surprised. When his baby sees something pretty, he’s sure she has to have it.
The aroma of surfboard wax and summertime flowers wafts over you as you enter the store, a precious little gasp dancing on your tongue as your eyes scan the endless racks of nylon and spandex, full of colourful patterns and glittery designs.
“Oh, niichan,” you begin, looking over at Touya with those trademark puppy-dog eyes, bottom lip twitching, on standby to form a pretty pout the moment the situation calls for it. “Can I?”
He meets your gaze with a smirk and a raised eyebrow, though it’s impossible for him to hide the love, admiration, validation that tugs at the corners of his lips, threatening to grow into a full smile.
“You’re a spoiled little brat, y’know that?” he murmurs, the insult soaked in admiration.
Shopping with Touya-nii always follows the same rules and regulations, so ingrained in your shared consciousness that it’s almost become a cherished little ritual.
Every single article you pick up must be thoroughly approved by him before you can try it on. He’s coming into the change room with you, of course, just like he always does, and he doesn’t give a fuck what the sales lady apprehensively murmurs about store protocol, policy, and privacy. The glare she receives in response to her timid warning—glinting sapphires paired with that sharp, horrifying smile—begs her to just try and fucking stop him.
So she lets it go.
It is absolutely crucial that you try on each piece in front of him, attentively watching you with those lidded eyes and that lazy smirk, leaning back on the small wooden bench with his knees spread wide.
With each new garment pulled on or stripped off, you feel exposed, you feel exhilarated; there’s something so wrong about it all, something that sends the intense fluttering in your stomach all the way up your throat as you answer him in soft, shy squeaks, something that has your heart spasming in terrified tremors against your rib cage with such violent vigour you’re afraid the bones may splinter under the strain.
But no one’s going to attempt to tell Touya what he can and cannot do, store codes and customs be damned. Because he exudes pure, potent power; it seeps out of his pores, it cracks like a azure storm cloud of lighting around him, flashes of it visible only when he turns those piercing eyes on his subject, his victim.
And maybe that’s what makes it feel so fucking exciting.
It is, however, quite difficult for him to only watch, to not touch. Vying fingers are curled into tight fists, or stuffed between his now clenched thighs, a poor attempt to keep them from tugging at the flimsy strings or popping the back clasp with practiced ease.
It’s astonishing, the sheer power you have over him, able to melt his ironclad self-control in an instant, armed with nothing more than a simple smile and a soft giggle of his name.
His restraint becomes molten metal in your soft palms, yours to mold and meld until it reaches its boiling point and vaporizes into wisps of shimmering silver—which just so happens to be after the fourth bikini you’ve tried on; a white little thing with beaded strings for ties—his calloused hands wrapping around your hips and yanking you into his lap, hot, hard, throbbing denim pressed against your inner thigh.
This is the worst kind of torture he’s ever experienced, he murmurs into the bare skin of your shoulder, teeth grazing it slightly before they sink into soft flesh, hard enough to break the skin barrier, hard enough to have a strangled yelp of his honorific catching in your throat, his cock twitching eagerly at the sound.
“Touya-nii,” you whimper, squirming a little in his grasp, a pitiful attempt to grind your cunt against his cock, fervent fingers tugging at his belt loops and picking at his belt buckle. “Touya-nii,”
He chuckles in response—a low, strained thing at the back of his throat—murmuring out a pacifying Alright, baby, alright, as he shifts beneath you, cavernous pupils outlined by a ring of blue while they watch your delicate hands work: belt unbuckled, button popped, zipper pulled, waistband shoved down.
It’s incredible, the way the two of you are still so insatiable for one another, each passing year seeming to magnify, intensify, this voracious addiction, the drip of time doing nothing to dull or diminish it.
He’s crushing you into the corner of the stall half a moment later, your legs dutifully locked around his waist, hooked at the ankles, heels digging into the dimples that cushion the base of his spine.
“You’re such a good little slut for me,” he’s breathing against the shell of your ear, dirty words sinking into the soft cartilage, sealed with a long lick of his tongue as he shoves his cock into your ill-prepared hole. “Such a perfect little sister, letting niichan take whatever he wants, whenever he wants it—whenever he needs it.”
And you whine and nod and agree, just like you’re supposed to; yes niichan, of course niichan.
It stings as your sensitive flesh stretches, splits, unstitches itself to accommodate him, the sweetest little cry choked off by a sharp gasp as his mouth latches onto your neck, lips and teeth etching a brilliant masterpiece of his name into your skin.
The taste of peanut butter and chocolate still saturates his tongue, notes of its decadence infused in his spit as his teeth clack against yours, desperate to devour every little mewl and gasp and sob while your nails paw and pull and pierce, the locks of his hair and the cotton of his shirt and the muscles of his back.
It isn’t slow, or subtle, or discreet at all. No, it’s rough, it’s rancorous, it’s downright ruthless, each pound into you sending quivers skittering up the weak door, the rickety lock rhythmically clinking and clattering against its fastener.
Really, you should be embarrassed by how fucking shameless you both are, by how fucking inconsiderate you’re both being.
You should be.
But you aren’t.
Because the craving is too much, too strong for either of you to control or resist, this combined obsession—this sick addiction—bigger than either of you, than both of you, an overwhelming rush of glutton and greed intoxicating your blood, your bones, your brain until the compulsion consumes your body like some sort of everlasting parasite.
It’s over fairly quickly, though, each jackhammer of his hips slamming his cockhead into your sore, swollen cervix, each ragged drag back grinding his cock against that spot, each audacious whisper and horrified mutter acting as another spit of kerosene on the rapidly building blaze in the pits of your stomachs, forcing a conjoined explosion.
“You gonna—gonna cum, baby?” he nearly keens, voice shattered with pleasure. “Huh? You gonna cum for niichan?”
He’s so fucking pretty when he gets like this, sapphire eyes glittering with love and mischief, ivory tufts saturated in sweat, strands damp and clinging to his gleaming temples and neck, chest heaving against yours, forcing sugary sweet huffs of breath from his mouth into your own.
Yes, yes, yes, your affirmations are climbing higher and higher, needier and needier, airier and airier, words floating on clouds of ecstasy.
“Do it,” he commands, and you obey instantly, just like you always do, just like the good little girl you are, just like niichan’s perfect little princess.
He follows half a second later, encouraged by your pathetic pleading for his cum—oh, please niichan, give it to me, niichan, need you to stuff me with it, niichan—cock pulsating in impeccable time with your begging, filling your pretty little cunt with thick, hot strands of pearlescent ivory.
It is beyond humiliating to exit the change room nearly twenty minutes later, several bathing suits piled up in your arms as Touya deposits the ones you discarded, or the ones he disapproved of, on the counter by the saleswoman, flashing her a charming smile as he passes.
At the cash register, you shift from foot to foot, clinging to your niichan’s arm and nuzzling your face into his bicep, suddenly shy from all the gawking gazes; throngs of women glaring at Touya, expressions twisted in disgust, as if he’s some sort of depraved monster, the few men scattered around the store gaping at Touya, expressions loose with awe, as if he’s some sort of god among men, because he is.
Grabbing the two large bags stuffed daintily with tissue, Touya politely thanks the cashier for her service, cordial and considerate and all the things he wasn’t mere moments ago.
“And have a wonderful day.”

It was supposed to be a cave just for shelter, but it turned out to be so much more. When Shikamaru together with Ino and Choji walked inside to hide from the harsh desert sun, they had immediately known something was off with the cave. It tingled of chakra and reeked of blood.
“We should turn back,” Ino said. “This chakra is – it’s not normal.”
The rattle of chains coming from the darkness startled them.
“Shit,” Choji whispered. “Something is in there.”
“Or someone,” Shikamaru finished. They pondered for a second whether to go back and not meddle in whatever scary business this cave had in store for them, but later decided that investigating would be worth it.
“This something is a someone,” Ino said when they walked deeper into the mouth of the dark.
They had never expected to find someone chained by rusty chuffs to the mountain wall of the other side. The wall was worked with metal, gold and sand, and the cuffs vibrated with chakra none of them had sensed before. It was a prison. A deserted prison.
The ’someone’ in question was a girl with sand blonde hair, arms cut and bruised, and a malicious snarl on her lips. She had to be a bit older than them, as her jaw was strong any and all resemblance of childhood had vanished from her face.
“Hello?” Ino whispered when they got closer. “What have they done to you?”
“Release me,” the girl demanded and stood up, not being able to keep a straight face out of pain when her joints in the shoulders straightened out from the uncomfortable position her arms were forced into. The chakra cuffs rattled and seemed to cut into her flesh even more. The trio winced at the sight of it. If not hunger and thirst kills her, an infection will.
“Why have someone chained you here?” Shikamaru asked.
“My father wants to kill me,” the girl spat and tossed her head back, revealing shining green eyes behind her dirty fringe. “Let me free for fucks’ sake.”
“Don’t move,” Shikamaru said when Ino took a step forward. “It can be a trap.” He grabbed a kunai and the girl laughed a raw and sarcastic laugh at the sight of it.
“I’d not do that if I were you,” she laughed.
“She is not an illusion at least, she is real,” Ino said. “But there’s something off with her chakra.”
“Best to stay away,” Choji mumbled.
“You are three against one, what could possibly happen?” the chained girl snorted as she leaned against the wall. The gold in it was off, Shikamaru thought. Why would there be gold melted into a wall meant to keep a prisoner? “Give me water at least. Postpone my death by a day, if you please.”
“What is your name?” Shikamaru asked. “You’re someone of value, aren’t you?”
“Ah, so my flesh has a price,” the girl laughed. “How comforting to hear. Go on, take an arm and sell it for good money.”
“Ha, ha,” Shikamaru said.
“It’s best not to agitate her,” Choji whispered.
“Agitate me, agitate me?” the girl snarled. “It takes a lot to agitate me.”
“What is your name?” Shikamaru asked again, now definitely more demanding. “Tell us, prisoner.” He walked closer to her, closer than he anticipated and closer than he would want to, but there was something about this prisoner which drew him in, unwillingly and cruelly.
“My name is…” The girl whipped her fringe out of her face once more. “My name is Temari of the Sand.”
Shikamaru was not standing right in front of her, kunai hard in his grip in case she did something suspicious. He could kill her right now if he wanted – that that he did, but the idea crossed his mind. In case she was dangerous, for she was not a civilian, nor a common shinobi. She was valued and kept prisoned away from the closest settlement. She was someone.
“Tell me, Temari of the Sand, why your father wants to kill you,” he asked.
Temari smiled, exposing razor sharp canine teeth.
“Shikamaru, step back,” Ino gasped and Choji swooped Shikamaru away from Temari with an expanded fist. Shikamaru grunted at first, annoyed, but all gasps got stuck in his throat when the earlier green eyes were no more.
What stared back at them were black eyes shining with gold in the middle of them.
“What is she?” Ino asked, rhetorically.
“What am I, what am I?” Temari smiled. “I am me. The jinchuuriki of the Sand, doomed to die.”

Nasir's Prank(?)
Nasir (Twst OC) x reader
With a grimace you marched towards Sam’s shop. You were upset and you had every right to be. You loved your friends; they helped you so many times, but you have to admit, sometimes they need to know boundaries. You wanted to throttle Grim and Ace.
They loved to be mischievous, and so when April Fool’s Day came, they couldn’t resist the temptation to pull pranks on you. The pranks started out harmless: They snuck pepper into your cake, they hid your shoes, they even moved all the furniture a few inches to the right so everything looked off, but you couldn’t figure out why. These pranks were funny, and you did enjoy them.
Then, the nature of the pranks got a bit more annoying: They propped a bucket of water over a door you walked through, they tricked you into opening a glitter bomb in your own room, and the last straw was when Grim tried to hide under your (now glitter-filled) bed and jump out and scare you with his fire abilities, only to singe your uniform. You were a lot more peeved now.
Grim apologized for the uniform, but he did it in Grim fashion, which meant he did not apologize. Go figure. After chiding him plenty and sending him off to practice his magic, you changed out of your ruined uniform. This was most definitely going to be paid through Grim’s allowance.
It all brings you back here, inside Sam’s Mystery Store. You grumbled to yourself the entire time as you tried to find a proper replacement vest for your uniform. It was difficult because the vest wasn’t like the other dormitories colors.
The shop was brimming with activity. Sam was running an April Fool’s sale with a bunch of knick knacks and gadgets to prank friends with. You could even hear Kalim’s voice somewhere in the store and he rarely went shopping himself! After rummaging through all of the uniforms that hung in neat lines, you gave up on searching on your own. You needed to find Sam. Only problem was he was all over the place, making cash like true businessman. You roam the shop, chasing over the echos of his voice when you turned the corner and bumped into a tall imposing figure.
Oh, it was Nasir. You never really interacted much with Nasir, but you knew he was the second attendant for Kalim, right next to Jamil. His odd swirling hair ebbed and flowed like wisps of smoke as he peered down at you.
“Hello Prefect,” He greeted you with a coy smile. A default expression of his. “You seem worse for wear,” he noted as he resumed shopping as if nothing happened.
“Ah, yea, Ace, Deuce, and Grim got carried away with their pranks. How could you tell?” You asked, so certain you had cleaned up well enough.
“You have glitter all over you. You remind me of gold shavings.”
You flushed. It was embarrassing to be so messy around such a cynical figure. “Thank you?”
“Thank me not. You should be thanking your friends for such a spectacle,” He replied, his voice as cutting as ever. Nasir had such an odd way of speaking as the words were smooth and velvety, but it always felt so harsh whenever he spoke directly to someone. Perhaps it's that ancient authority that caused him to intimidate others with simply his tone. Kalim could be heard on the isle next to you guys.
“Jamil, I think I heard Y/N somewhere! Let's invite her to our banquet!”
This seemed to catch Nasir’s attention as his eyes slide over to the isle separating you from his duty. His gaze then slides over to you as his smile seems to widen. It was a predatory grin as he reached out and wrapped a long arm around your shoulders, firmly coaxing you further into the store and further away from Kalim.
He let his arm down your arm till he grasped your hand. His hand was surprisingly warm, like touching pleasantly heated sand. He ducked under the uniform rack and into the blazers and vests. Only a few strands of his floating hair and his eye could be seen through the gaps of the uniform blazers. He gently tugged your hand towards him, using his free hand to create a sort of passageway for you to enter the space between the racks and the store’s wall.
You hesitate, and he notices. Kalim’s voice gets louder. He leans a bit out of the darkness and it’s comical the way his head is peaking out of the clothes. “I don’t bite. I merely want to try something out and I need your help.” He convinces you.
You figured a servant of Kalim’s wouldn’t dare hurt you, so you step into the darkness. He hadn’t let go of your hand yet as he sits down. You follow suit, not out of will, but rather because your hand went down with him. He finally let go of your hand and you notice how cold the air feels compared to him. He grabbed a row of uniform shoes and placed it in front of you both, effectively concealing each other from the store.
“I heard today is a holiday. April Fool’s, was it? I had never participated before,” He stated it with a mischievous grin. You were most definitely confused with his train of thought. He opened his mouth to continue only to close it and let his gaze harden as he looked cautiously towards the store.
Kalim’s voice could be heard, calling out your name excitedly. Through the clothes you could catch small glimpses of Jamil and Kailm’s legs. You were about to answer Kalim’s calls, only for Nasir to place his hand over your mouth. He had a coy smile as he raised a single finger to his lips, shushing you.
Bewildered, you stared at him rather than the scene before you. His mouth remained as you focused on why he was doing all of this. It’s not like you guys were close. You don’t think he’s ever even approached you out of his will! Now he dragged you behind some clothes and you don’t know why. It was clear you guys were hiding, but from who? Kalim? Although it was entirely impossible, you couldn’t foresee why he would do such a thing.
“Its main focus is pranks, correct? To cause minor inconveniences to those around you as a joke, if I’m not mistaken,” He spoke up in a quiet mutter, cutting you from your thoughts. His hand was gone from your mouth, and you didn’t notice when he moved it.
“Uhh,” You blinked, only further lost. “Yea, that’s one way to put it I guess,” You nod.
His grin only grew. “I believe you just helped me execute a prank then,” He declared. “I heard hiding valuables from others is a common prank. I just hid you from Kalim, so that counts, correct?” He mused.
You’re stunned. He just used you, to prank Kalim. He also called you a valuable. And he is grinning at you like you just helped him rob a bank. “I… I guess so? I mean-” you pause, dumbfounded. “-Most people don’t hide other people for pranks?”’
He put one of his scarred hands to his chin, his expression thoughtful. Sometimes his mannerisms reminded you of Malleus, but only if Malleus was less innocent and more sly. “I see. I suppose I am not like most people anyways, so it matters not. I successfully pranked Kalim, and that is what matters here. Thank you, Prefect, you have been exceedingly helpful in this endeavor,” He decides as he reaches past you, invading your personal bubble.
He pulls back and fabric hits your cheek softly. He was holding up a grey uniform vest. Your eyes widen and he lets it fall gently into your hands.
“Oh, thank you!” you smile up at him.
“I saw you were searching for a uniform, and I doubt you were trying to infiltrate one of the other dorms. Not that you would need it to do so anyways. Your well known enough to roam.” He stood up and carefully slipped past the clothes and back into the isle. Kailm and Jamil were long gone, presumably defeated in their search for you.
His words were most definitely cryptic and before you could question his meaning, he spoke up. “I’m assuming Kalim will message you later, so I’ll just skip all the hassle. Kalim is holding an April Fool’s banquet tonight and you are invited to attend. Ah, if you do though, I’d suggest you avoid the lemonade, after all it would be unfortunate if salt was poured instead of sugar as a prank,” He grinned at you before he picked up his abandoned shopping basket to continue his chores.
You were left dumbfounded in the uniform rack as you try and process what just happened. That was odd. He was odd, but so was everyone else in the school. He did get you your uniform at the end… His hand was really warm.

“After one moment when I bowed my head And the whole world turned over and came upright, And I came out where the old road shone white, I walked the ways and heard what all men said, Forests of tongues, like autumn leaves unshed, Being not unlovable but strange and light; Old riddles and new creeds, not in despite But softly, as men smile about the dead. The sages have a hundred maps to give That trace their crawling cosmos like a tree, They rattle reason out through many a sieve That stores the sand and lets the gold go free: And all these things are less than dust to me Because my name is Lazarus and I live.”

Lost Mine & Abyss Session 14 - Wave Echo Awaits
-Seeing the party's weakened state and the still-unconscious dwarf, the druid suggests they take a small detour to Phandalin to rest and gather supplies before the Cave.
-On the cart ride, Dakwert carefully inspects the orc's gem, it glowing in his hand and seeming to faintly call to him. He hands it to the cleric to examine, its energy immediately stopping at his touch. Weird. He hands it back off to the gnome.
-The gnome warlock meditates as the cart ride calms, sand swirling around him as the necklace reappears in his hands- as Dakwert then vanishes from sight, reappearing inside the necklace to his patron. The dao is very disappointed to have his necklace given away- but says he can't stay mad at all this treasure brought here for him! Dakwert convinces him that this all belongs to his friends, only stored temporarily. The patron asks him to put in a good word for him so that the gold -can- be his, and peaces out.
-Dakwert reawakens, tired and surrounded by sand. The furious roar of the bugbear king sounds in the distance. Dakwert quickly takes everyone's gear OUT of the necklace, except for Sen's banshee hoard. Sand is mixed in with everything, and Vierna's magical sword no longer glows.
-The Wood opens up to Phandalin, the druid dropping them off and taking his temporary leave back to Thundertree to continue his ritual. Sid suggests they take Gundren to the Shrine of Luck, and that he needs to head to the blacksmith's forge after.
-They are excitedly greeted by Sheara at the shrine asking them how their days have been, projecting in from Waterdeep after her promotion to the temple there. Gundren is laid on a stone slab for Sister Garaele to heal, the dwarf awaking relieved to finally be free.
-Gundren pleads for them to go to the nearest inn, claiming that's what will heal him, that he will tell them the plan over drinks. They enter the Stonehill Inn to Sid and Dakwert being welcomed as heroes- and one woman waving them over to sit with her.
-The woman tells them they've heard so much about them, asking them about their skills as she brings drinks for them. She introduces herself as Halia Thornton, pushing a coin with the winged snake symbol of the Zhentarim towards them, and asks them if they would be interested in working for her. Sid goes quiet in recognition, and wakes their employer from his drink, saying they have a job- who promptly passes out again. Halia continues to pressure them on what they are doing, then asks all their names- seeming to recognize Sid. She thanks them, and leaves them to their drinks.
-Sid, knowing of the Zhentarim from his father who was in it, pressures them all to wrap up and get out of here, leading them to the blacksmith's shop. The dragonborn asks him if they could use his forge, to which he happily welcomes in the heroes of Phandalin.
-The smith asks Vierna about her mechanical arm, admiring the craftsmanship. She tells him it was forged by duergar and perfected by a Waterdeep blacksmith, the smith telling her he'd always looked up to the smith there. Vierna tells him that he's great but he... doesn't work in Waterdeep anymore (wonder why that could be). He is disappointed, but dreams of moving in and taking that spot himself.
-The party walks over to the side to talk, Gundren unfurling the blank map by the light of the forge. He tells them he and his two brothers enchanted this map together, so three need to all touch the map. He tells two other dwarvish-speakers to touch the map with them, and for them all to repeat the dwarvish phrase "Let Dumathoin guide us to glory." As they speak it, ink flows across the map as the location of the cave and it's layout are revealed- and disappears again as he takes his hand off. He promises them again that they will receive riches after leading him to it. Sid warns Gundren that the Zhentarim may be following them there, that they should go quickly.
-"So, we have the drow after us, goblins after us, now the ZHENTARIM after us, what else have we got chasing us?" *everyone slowly looks to Sen*.
-Gundren tells them the cave ahead is dangerous, that they will want to gather any supplies they need now. Dakwert and Creak are sent out shopping to the now-upgraded Barthen's Provisions, returning with three Potions of Healing. Vierna and Sen attempt to purchase weapons, but find nothing special. Sid starts to work at the forge, crafting daggers out of grick talons, adding jewels to Sen's bow, and finally finishing his new dragonscale-studded plate armor.
-Sen questions Creak on her motivations, as the goblin seems increasingly suspicious. She says that all she needs to do is get the Black Spider- and then she'll have everything she wants. Sen asks who she's working for, the goblin answering that she works for her family. She tells them they don't have to worry- she's not here for their treasure, just for the Black Spider.
-The party takes their long rest and carefully leaves the blacksmith, warning him on their way out that he may want to leave town, telling him about Halia. He says he just might follow that dream of setting up shop in Waterdeep. The party carefully makes their way to the edge of town, rejoining Reidoth on the cart as he begins to speed them away towards the Sword Mountains.
-Talking to Creak, the party begins to notice things that don't add up. She claims an age impossible for goblins, then seems to not know much about goblins or herself- and in suspicion, Sid casts Zone of Truth upon the cart as the party questions her more. Sen asks her what she is, her answering that she's just Creak, that they just see a little goblin girl. She tells them she can't reveal her mission, but that she is not a danger to them.
-Sen asks her what it was that he felt in the castle. She says it was simply her being herself. Frustrated, she drops the high pitched voice and tells the party she doesn't need to keep this up much longer anyway- and suddenly the form of the goblin disappears- and in her place instead is a dark elf woman, introducing herself as Virith Mizzrym. Dakwert laments the loss of a fellow kickable creature. She tells him she has gained a new perspective with her time, and will think twice about kicking gnomes in the future. She tells them they have all been an entertaining experience, but she has business to get to- in Wave Echo Cave. Additionally, "Valark is my brother, he is a twink ass bitch" so while he is gone she suggests they take care of business.
-Sen asks her how she handled being small for that long, the drow responding that it was horrendous, to the gnome's sadness.
-With this revelation as the cart continues forward (to the confusion but ultimately uncaring of the druid), the session concludes!

Apparently I wrote this, saved it as a draft, and never hit post, so it's a few days late.
-December 15th, Factory Tyrant's Journal, Entry 13-
I've decided that today I want to work on getting out of my cave.
I have an idea for what kind of base I want to build outside my cave, but I need light gray concrete for that, so I'll work on getting some.
Unlike in vanilla Minecraft, sand and gravel can be crafted using cobblestone, so I don't have to go out of my way to find some.
Sand can be obtained by putting cobblestone in a macerator, putting gravel in a rock crusher (Railcraft), or transmuting dirt/grass with a philosopher's stone (Project E).
Gravel can be obtained by putting cobblestone in a rock crusher, transmuting sandstone with a philosopher's stone, or by opening scrap boxes (5.80% chance).
Since a rock crusher costs 12 diamonds to craft (I only have 8), I'll instead craft a philosopher's stone, which only costs 1.
A philosopher's stone allows me to replace certain blocks in the world with other blocks, convert certain items to other items in a crafting interface, and also functions as a portable crafting interface (which isn't exactly necessary since I bring a crafting table everywhere anyway).
I don't have very much sand right now, so I'm going to use my new philosopher's stone to convert some cobblestone to grass, then convert the grass to sand.
While I was doing that, I noticed that my arboretum uses water a lot faster than I thought it would.
As a result of this, I'm going to be crafting my first reliquary item that isn't just a crafting component, that being a void tear, which allows me to store an almost unlimited amount of a single item in 1 inventory space.
I'm actually only crafting a void tear because it's a crafting component for an emperor's chalice, which is what I actually want.
An emperor's chalice essentially acts as an infinite water bucket, though it also has an additional function that lets me restore hunger in exchange for life.
I actually need a ghast tear to make one of these, so I'll make a (hopefully) quick trip to the nether.
After that, I needed to go to the second village to sell some coal so I have an emerald to make the emperor's chalice, but now that I have an emperor's chalice, I've put it in my arboretum and now I never have to refill it again (until it runs out of fertilizer).
I also have 6 emeralds left over, and I could use my philosopher's stone to convert that to 6 stacks of iron, but I won't.
Because of my philosopher's stone, iron, gold, diamonds, and emeralds are basically just different measurements of the same resource now, because I can convert them to each other for free.
1 emerald is 2 diamonds, 1 diamond is 4 gold, and 1 gold is 8 iron.
Because 1 emerald can be converted to a full stack of iron, any villager trade where I sell iron is now insanely overpowered, because I'm basically just getting free iron.
Unfortunately, most of my villager knowledge is from post-1.14, so I have no idea how to make a 1.12 villager breeder.
What I do know about pre-1.14 villagers is that if the iron trade gets locked, I have to trade something else to unlock it, I can't just wait until the villager restocks, because he won't do so automatically.
Anyway, that's it for today.

Sixth beer I think
By Atticus, Coldplay & Demi Lovato ft. Nao Kodama & Takuji Aoyagi
I was walking to where me and our son had fun
Then I thought maybe I should go west, young man
But there was no Tim Horton's west of me
The only coffee chains are east of me
Then sixth beer came on
And it was our song
So I thought I'm too sober on life to know
So maybe I should get that sixth beer on
I went to my mother's garage door
But the glasses were all empty
Then I realised I'm already drunk in the drunkenness of love
So yeah now I know
You are the love of my life
That I know
So I sat in my front yard to write you this song
And now I am at our home
So won't you just come
'cause I'm drunk and I need a home
I'm on my third beer I think
The people here have dirtied the tub and sink
So won't you come home
'cause I'm finishing these drinks
And I have tattooed your name in ink
Yeah this life stinks
When we were younger remember love was on the ice rink
Then I remembered
Yeah she liked my hair
I guess the next rhyme is Tony Blair
Can we now clear the air
And I'll buy you a MacBook Air
The one in gold is really nice
Yeah put on that feist
Can you talked to Condoleezza Rice
We're not of men and mice
Someone told me love a man amongst man
Yeah life is of time and sand
So I guess I still have time to go to the Beer Store
Then I walk to the Beer Store
And as I write this song
Remember life is songs of songs
I had had some beers
But I need more
I guess I can fly to the shore
But it is too far
The closest thing is the Beer Store
Yeah the closest thing is the Beer Store
At my parents’ home there are no photographs of us
Yeah I guess that’s why I miss us
And I don’t mean the US
Yeah I thought this song would be the one you wanted
Do you know you are the love of my life
So please don’t tell me to get a life
‘cause I already have one
As fourth beer and fifth beer play
I can’t think of a chorus
So can you join me in the chorus, yeah
So if you’re coming don’t drag around
If it's tomorrow I’ll be around
So maybe I’ll see you around
It has been a while
I’ve been walking around
And it has just been round and round
So when is the end of the song
I don’t know so I’ll drag this around
So when are you coming
I want to know
Do you remember that song
I wrote a song for you last year
Yeah and when it rains on a Thursday
We’ll love through the tears
And if it snow on a Saturday
We can go buy something at some branded store
You were expecting me to rhyme with Hudson’s Bay
And if we lie on a lazy Sunday
We’ll pray
And then we can watch our kids play
And then I’ll tell you I love you everyday
Then I remembered
Yeah she liked my hair
I guess the next rhyme is Tony Blair
Can we now clear the air
And I'll buy you a MacBook Air
The one in gold is really nice
Yeah put on that feist
Can you talked to Condoleezza Rice
We're not of men and mice
Someone told me love a man amongst man
Yeah life is of time and sand
So I guess I still have time to go to the Beer Store
Then I walk to the Beer Store
And as I write this song
Remember life is songs of songs
I had had some beers
But I need more
I guess I can fly to the shore
But it is too far
The closest thing is the Beer Store
Yeah the closest thing is the Beer Store
I think I’m on my sixth beer
Maybe seventh I think
Or eight no one can know for sure
So let’s just assume it is not the ninth
‘cause this song is called sixth beer I think
My good friend just left through the door
I made him an instagram and a Gmail tonight
It’s musiclove1984 and [email protected] respectively
Send him an email if you want
But he’s already married to a nice Japanese girl
So I say
All that is left to say
I’m writing this also on Google Docs
Check that out if you want
Free advertisement
So I’m on tenth beer but let’s just say it’s the sixth
So I think I should tell you how I feel
If you didn’t know it yet
In my heart of heart I say this is love
I can’t stand that we’re apart
There is only one Heineken that’s left that is cold
I tell you this it’s you I haven’t sold
I remember all the things that you’ve told
And your soft hand that I wanted to hold
So can I be drunk in your love ‘til I’m old
And my heart I will fold
I even forgot the blanket that you stole
Yeah that is how we roll
I really hate pants that are made out of wool
They really itches when all things told
So I want your heart to hold
‘cause I’m drunk and I’m cold
When we were together I thought the picture frames were gold
Should I just hug a poll
Yeah I’m casting a mold
Yeah this is really bold
But yeah I’m getting cold
And your heart I want to hold
Yeah and your heart I want to hold
Yeah and your heart I want to hold
Yeah and your heart I want to hold

ii. rex lapis
Tumblr media
The sands of time shifted once more, and now Rex Lapis ruled over Liyue. His land overflowed with wealth, and all who passed through Liyue saw their businesses prosper. The people who now walked the paved streets of Liyue had happily never known the tragedies of war, and they lived out their lives in blissful ignorance.
Within the Golden House, Rex Lapis paced around restlessly. His horns and claws were nowhere to be seen, as Liyue had no need for such instruments of war. The simple white robes he had donned for battle had been replaced with layers of multicoloured ceremonial robes and intricate headdresses that only the finest artisans could craft.
With these robes came great honour and responsibility, a reminder that the fate of Liyue rested solely upon the shoulders of Rex Lapis. Though they were made of mere fabric, at times Rex Lapis felt that they weighed heavier than chains of pure gold.
He sighed and fiddled with his sleeves— though he was, in fact, the reason mora existed in the very first place, he had to admit he was tired of seeing the same golden shimmer that surrounded him everywhere he looked.
“My lord.”
Without even turning around, he replied, “I told you not to be so formal with me.”
“Alright, alright.” You smiled and spread your hands disarmingly. “Thousands of years, but you’re still as legalistic as ever.”
Unlike Rex Lapis, you had not chosen to change too much about yourself in the years following the Archon War, whether in appearance or personality. It somewhat brought him comfort knowing that in a world that was constantly changing too fast for him to keep up, there was still one person who could keep him anchored; no matter what era you were in, you could always quickly adjust to the practices and customs around you without forcing yourself to mold to them.
“Thousands of years, and I still need to remind you that titles are unnecessary, my friend.”
“Ah, but the question is: am I genuinely forgetting to drop them, or do I keep using them just to irk you?”
He turned around, face carefully devoid of any emotion. “My friend, do you happen to fear the wrath of the Rock?”
He watched in satisfaction as the smug look on your face quickly morphed into one of fearful respect. “As a matter of fact I do, so let’s change the topic. Your robes are simply majestic, my— I mean, Rex Lapis!”
“Do you not have one just like this?” Rex Lapis looked down at his embellished sleeves— the people of Liyue had gifted both of you with ceremonial robes, but he had yet to see you wear them. “If I recall, yours had the phoenix embroidered on the front.”
“Oh yes, I still have it with me.” You bent over and inspected the nearest pile of mora, brushing the golden coins with your fingertips. “I don’t wear it much since it restricts my movements, but maybe I will if there’s a special occasion.”
“I would like to see you wear it someday, if you choose to. You’d look absolutely stunning.”
He waited for some witty comeback, the usual jokes you’d make in response to his compliments— but you remained oddly silent, hunched over the little pile of mora like a bird guarding its nest.
“My friend...?”
Gently, he placed a hand on your shoulder, unknowingly sending an electric current running through your veins.
“Ah, yes, yes! I was just, uh—“ Hurriedly, you jumped to your feet and dusted your hands off on your clothes. “I was just trying to remember where my robe was, that’s all. I stored it away but I don’t exactly remember where— you know how it is, right?”
Yes, you had just forgotten where you had last put that phoenix robe, as though you still didn’t clean it and carefully air it out at least once a month. That robe was one of the few things you treasured dearly, as it was a gift from the people you watched over... and perhaps also because it was a gift that matched with his.
The heat rushing to your face and the quickening of your heartbeat upon hearing him say you’d look stunning— that was out of pure embarrassment, nothing more. He only meant it out of kindness, now, don’t misinterpret his words.
Clearing your throat hastily, you tried to change the subject. “Did you know that there’s a full moon tonight?”
“Is there, now?” He tilted his head to the side; a somewhat endearing habit of his, left over from when he had horns. “I have not left this place in quite some time; the people of Liyue are a little too concerned for my safety to let me venture outside often.”
“They haven’t....?”
But Rex Lapis merely smiled in reply, dismissing the matter with a wave of his hand. “It’s only natural for young people to be overprotective of the ones who take care of them. I’m sure they would do the same for you if you just let them, my friend.”
“You sounded very old when you said that, my lord.”
“Pardon?”
“I said your words shone like gold when you said that, my lord.”
He narrowed his eyes skeptically, but you only returned his gaze with a look of pure, angelic innocence. There was no way he could say anything against you, especially not with that look on your face.
“My lord,” You said, with that innocent look still plastered on your face. “Given that you haven’t gone outside in a while, what say you to accompanying one such as myself on an outing this fine evening?”
“An outing, you say?” He put a hand to his chin and pretended to contemplate the idea, silently observing as your eyes lit up with poorly-hidden anticipation. “Where would one go at this hour? It would cause quite a stir if Rex Lapis were to suddenly disappear from his position, with no reasonable explanation.”
To that you raised a finger upwards in reply, pointing to the cavernous roof of the Golden House.
“Technically, you wouldn’t be leaving.” Holding out your hand to him, you smiled and said, “Shall we watch the stars together, then?”
———
“This is incredibly reckless.”
“It’s also incredibly exciting, don’t you think?”
Barely-suppressed laughter bubbled up into your throat as you looked at the great Rex Lapis, who had awkwardly bunched up his robes around his knees. There was no way he could climb to the top of the roof without either damaging his (very costly, one-of-a-kind) robe, or getting him tangled into a mummy wrapping of fine silk.
“Your laughter does not go unnoticed, by the way.” He said, glowing amber eyes trained on the vast ascent of roof tiles before him. “Since this was your idea, how about you think of a solution to this problem?”
The cool night breeze whistled in your ears like a distant flute, and he shivered slightly; it was best to think of a solution quickly, lest Liyue be in uproar over the dignified Rex Lapis catching a mere cold.
You squinted at the rooftop, trying to analyse the best way to scale it with as little collateral damage to your superior as possible. It was certainly possible, especially with your talents as an adeptus (and also because your position did not require such cumbersome clothing), but there would have to be some rather... unusual measures taken.
“Do you trust me?”
He blinked in confusion. “What strange sort of question is—“
Before he could finish, you lifted him off the ground as though you were carrying a princess.
“Hold on tight, my lord.” You whispered, your lips only a few breaths away from his ear. “It may be a little bit unstable.”
He barely had time to wrap his arms around your neck as you leapt into the air, nimbly bounding off the golden tiles like a deer.
What exactly was this situation he was in? Moreover, what was this odd sensation swelling in his heart?
“Mind your sleeves, Rex- I mean, my lord!” You huffed. “I can’t see where I’m stepping if you decide to obscure my sight, which isn’t exactly the best choice for you right now.”
With one final jump, you landed safely on the topmost roof of the Golden House. He could only stare at you blankly as he tried to process what had just happened in the past few minutes— however, you caught onto his stare too easily.
“What, are you surprised that I was able to pull that off?” Shaking your head vigorously to remove the flyaway hair from your eyes, you frowned at him in a jesting manner. “Don’t tell me you’ve been underestimating my abilities this whole time, my lord.”
“No.” He replied immediately. “I would never.”
“That’s what I thought.” With a nod of satisfaction, you gently set him down onto the roof. “Here is the moon and stars for you, as promised.”
Rex Lapis raised his eyes to the sky that he had not seen in some time, and the heavens did not disappoint.
Overhead, the galaxy stretched out in a rich tapestry of hues, stars interwoven in between the threads like beads of precious stones. A full moon hung in the sky, a pearl of great price that took all the beauty that surrounded it and unified it into a beautiful symphony of colours.
For the first time in a while, he felt free— up here with you by his side, there were no such things as duty and responsibility. There were only the two of you in this quiet, peaceful place, with the heavens above as your only witness.
“A lovely night, don’t you think?” You grinned and put your hands on your hips, the wind toying with your hair ever so slightly. “The minute I saw this, I knew you simply couldn’t miss it; not in a thousand years.”
His gaze lingered on the picture of you bathed in a soft halo of moonlight, smiling dreamily at the stars above. “...Very lovely, indeed.”
“Oh, I almost forgot!” Jolting suddenly, you fumbled as you brought out a brass bottle and a pair of teacups from seemingly thin air. “I figured it would be cold out, so I prepared something, just in case.” You gestured for him to sit. “Have a seat while you’re waiting— can’t have the ruler of Liyue standing around waiting for me to serve him, can I?”
“Your judgement is as impeccable as ever, my friend. Whatever would I do without you?”
You rolled your eyes as you began to unscrew the cap of the bottle. “Such flattery is unnecessary. We both know that you could manage Liyue just as well if you were on your own.”
“That doesn’t mean I would want to.” He hesitated, unsure if what he would say next would make you uneasy. “You have done more for me and for Liyue than you could possibly imagine, and I... I sincerely wish for you to know that. You have just as an important role in Liyue as I do, and this place would not be what it is today without you.”
Pausing in what you were doing, you slowly raised your eyes to meet his— there was nothing but pure sincerity in his eyes and words. He truly meant what he was saying, and the way he worded it made your heart- no, no, this wasn’t the time for that.
“...Thank you, Rex Lapis. Those words mean a lot to me, especially coming from you.”
“Do my ears deceive me?” He put a hand to his mouth in mock disbelief. “Say that once more, my friend, I do not think I heard you well the first time.”
“No, I don’t think I will.” You glared at him. “It seems that your age is showing, my lord. Perhaps I should carry you back inside, if your age has really advanced so rapidly.“
“You called me Rex Lapis, for once. This is a day that this aged man shall remember for the rest of his life, and shall be inscribed into the history of Liyue as a momentous occasion—“
“The tea will grow cold long before your long-winded speech finishes, my lord. How about you drink first and talk later?”
Rex Lapis gave you an unimpressed stare. “Perhaps if you cease calling me ‘my lord’, I will think the matter over. When did you learn to brew tea, by the way?”
You returned his stare with one equally matched in unimpressed energy. “Over the years, I’ve found that the art of tea-brewing helped greatly in calming myself, and so I’ve been practicing ever since. Your cup, please— my lord.”
He rolled his eyes at your smug face and held out his cup.
A faint wisp of steam curled from the bottle as the dark liquid trickled into his teacup, along with some unknown plant matter. His thoughts must’ve shown clearly upon his face, for you burst out laughing upon seeing it. “It’s not poison, for Celestia’s sake! If I were planning to assassinate you, I would’ve done it eons ago.”
“And how is that meant to bring me any reassurance?”
“Oh, it wasn’t intended to.” You poured a cup for yourself and downed a sip of your concoction. “But no assassin would be fool enough to drink the poison intended for their target... except for me, possibly. Drink up!”
Rex Lapis still eyed the teacup in his hands suspiciously— but then again, you had never given any reason for him to doubt you, so why should he start now?
“So, is it good?”
He closed his eyes for a moment, savoring the unique flavours on his tongue. “If I could, I would drink the tea you make everyday for the rest of eternity.”
Your heart skipped a beat at his words; you choked, nearly sending the bottle of tea tumbling off of the roof. “Ah- er, well—“
“What, is that too humble of praise for it? I mean it from the bottom of my heart.”
“No, it’s just- well, it sounds like a phrase I’ve heard among the merchants of Inazuma— oh, never mind. I’m glad you like it.”
“What did you put in it to make it taste so exquisite?”
Leaning closer to him, you whispered, “Petals of peach blossom and glaze lily flowers. Along with some other choice ingredients, but what truly gives it that taste and aroma is the flowers.”
Your face was close, closer than he ever even dreamed to approach in a million years; in the pale moonlight, your eyes glittered brighter than any jewel the earth could give. Any dragon would covet such a treasure and guard it with their very life.
How had he not noticed how mesmerizing your eyes were till tonight?
“Absolutely fascinating,” He murmured, before belatedly realizing he said it aloud.
“Isn’t it?” You hummed in agreement. “It’s my special brew. I experimented on it until I could perfectly balance the flavours to my liking.” Your gaze swiveled to the elaborate water gardens sprawled in front of the Golden House. “Do you want me to plant a peach tree and some glaze lilies by the front of the gate? I could do that, if you really do enjoy my tea that much.”
A mix of relief and disappointment washed over him; you hadn’t realised he wasn’t talking about the flowers.
He mused over the idea— it didn’t seem so bad, after all, but...
“I’d like to plant them somewhere more.... permanent. Somewhere we can watch them grow together.”
“Say the word, and your wish is my command.” You beamed at him. “Just tell me when and where, and I’ll have them in full bloom for you in no time, no matter the season.”
A warm, fluttering feeling filled his chest, and Rex Lapis suddenly found it harder to breathe than before. His face felt oddly warm, while his hands were cold— was it a result of the night air? He wasn’t that old yet.
Anxious to change the topic before you cracked another joke about his age, he quickly asked, “How are the affairs of Liyue doing, my friend?”
You shrugged nonchalantly. “The trade routes are thriving splendidly. Many merchants from the other regions come to seek permission to transport goods to and from their lands, so I’ve been handling most of their affairs. Even picked up some of their languages while at it.” A mischievous smile spread across your face as you said, “Tu ne me comprends pas, non? Je t’aimerai pour toujours et à jamais, mon amour.”
“Impressive.” He hadn’t understood a word of what you had said, but he was almost dead certain that you were poking fun at him. “It is good to see that Liyue is in such capable hands. What about the—“
“—the adepti? Oh, they’re all doing quite well, I believe. They don’t really leave their abodes anymore, save for Madame Ping and young Ganyu.”
“How about—“
“Xiao? I visit him every now and then, to make sure he eats well and is doing alright. And yes, I bring him the painkillers you have specially made for him.” You paused. “He sends his greetings, and it is very obvious that that boy misses you, even if he won’t admit it himself.”
Rex Lapis breathed a sigh of relief and smiled. “You really do know what I’m going to say, even before I say it.”
“What can I say? Even before you need to ask, you can consider it already done.” A chuckle escaped your lips as you scuffed the sole of your shoe against the roof tiles. “That’s why I’m here, after all. Who better than I to carry out the word of Rex Lapis?”
“You had best watch yourself there, my friend, lest your head grows too big for your shoulders.”
“Oh, but my lord, who was the one who gave me this position?” Propping your chin on your steepled fingers, you give him a smug look. “I seem to recall a certain someone appointing me as his right-hand, after all.”
“What has been given can just as swiftly be taken away.”
“You’re no fun.” You stuck your tongue out at him and turned away, pointedly staring at the moon.
“So, what is the real reason you brought me up here?”
In an instant your head whipped back to meet his gaze, eyes wide and mouth agape. “How did you—“
The corner of his mouth quirked up in a lopsided grin, and now it was his turn to look smug. “You’re not the only one who can practically read minds, my friend. The facade you put up is better crafted than mine, but I can still see right through you.”
“Well...” You fell silent for a moment, fingers tracing along the sides of the brass bottle and etching invisible patterns into the metal with your fingernails. “I wanted to ask how you were doing.”
Rex Lapis tilted his head slightly, confusion and curiosity melding into one feeling. “How I was doing?”
“I struggle sometimes... with the memories of those who have passed on. Sometimes, in the heat of the moment I forget; I get distracted or actually feel happy, but then I suddenly think of them, and I wonder if I actually have the right to enjoy myself.”
Shifting slightly, your expression was unreadable in the pale moonlight. “But lately, their faces have become blurry, and I get scared when I can’t remember what they look like. It’s the least I can do for my comrades, since I’m the only one left.” You pursed your lips. “Do you have the same problem?”
The somber look on your face stirred up the remorse that still gnawed at his heart, even after all these centuries. You had been suffering alone because of his mistakes, and it pained Rex Lapis even more knowing that no contract he wrote could remedy the empty gap in your heart. All he could do was sit with you and be something you could anchor yourself to, just the way you had been a steadfast rock to him.
He shifted to sit closer to you, no longer caring whether his robes would be dirtied or not. “Not quite the same problem.”
“...Oh.”
“Like you, even after so many years I still cannot help but think of them. Every detail of their lives, their voices and faces— I remember it all.” Rex Lapis looked up to the stars, where perhaps the constellations of your friends lay, and laughed dryly. “Mortal men have been blessed with forgetfulness, but it seems that I have been cursed to remember.”
Tentatively, he raised a hand to gently pat you on the head, just the way his caregiver used to when he was feeling out of sorts or upset. “But worry not, my friend. If what you worry about is forgetting, then I will be the one to remember everything for you.”
“You needn’t worry about me forgetting you, by the way.” You said quietly. “Even if I forget everything else in this world, I know that I’ll always remember you, no matter what form you take.”
The strange, fluttering feeling in his chest returned, coursing through his veins and flowing through his fingertips— subconsciously he pulled his hand away, fearing that those feelings would somehow reach you.
It’s merely the chill of the night air, he told himself.
You said nothing as he pulled away, but Rex Lapis found himself wishing you would say something, anything; complain, or make a joke out of it, or perhaps even ask him to do it again— no, he couldn’t dare dream of that.
Not for your sake.
“The moon is beautiful, isn’t it?” You said suddenly, breaking the silence and the maze of thoughts his mind was trapped in.
Rex Lapis looked to the moon over Liyue Harbor, admiring the way it bathed the city in silver light. Though Liyue in the daytime was loud, filled with many colours and sounds that overwhelmed the senses, this version of Liyue was also beautiful to behold.
Perhaps... perhaps this is what she meant by living treasure, he thought to himself.
Caring for this city of people, nurturing them and building a better future for them and the future generations— that was certainly something close to his heart. It didn’t feel exactly like the living treasure he had expected, but as long as you were there to watch over Liyue with him, then perhaps... perhaps it would grow on him as time passed.
“Yes,” he agreed. “It truly is.”
But that evening, he failed to notice that you weren’t looking at the moon.

Fili/Kili, Gen.

"I should have known I would find you here. You always come back to this place." Kili said, sitting beside Fili on the rafters, looking down onto the show below. It really was a magical sight. Had been the first time, in the audience, and has been since, no matter from which angle he saw it again.
Fili, below him, golden head crowned in finery, robes swishing and theatrical magical effects at his finger tips.
The Fili of now, his Fili, sat beside him, a small, mysterious smile dancing on his lips.
"Do you regret it?" Kili bit his tongue - but too late, the words were already out. Fili turned away from the show, from the awe inspiring sight, and the night that changed his life - and there was fire in his eyes, a determination so strong it always took Kili's breath away.
Fili might not have been born magic, not like Kili was, but he had a will that could move mountains, a heart of gold, and a fire hotter than any dragon's - as much as his ire was much slower to rise.
"Never." Fili just said, his deep timbre raising goosebumps on Kili's skin.
Kili could drink Fili in, every little detail of him, again and again, and it would never be enough.
No time could ever make him tire of Fili's presence - and Kili prayed everyday that Fili would continue to feel the same.
But Fili wasn't made for forever, not like Kili was.
Still, he had already started down the road that had him worried since he had first found Fili here, of all places - might as well see where it lead.
"Then why come back here? To this time and place? You have all of time at your fingertips, every thought could be your reality - and yet you come back here, before, again and again. Why?"
"I come back here because it is the beginning. My roots, so to speak. Back then I couldn't fathom what life would have in store for me - I was happy, I was content, finally having gotten that role of a lifetime. But I had no idea what was out there, what awaited me - who awaited me."
Fili looked down again, stars in his eyes, as his counterpart bowed with a flourish, face shining like the sun.
And then his eyes wandered, into the shadows, where Kili had been hiding, spellbound, that very first time.
"I can go everywhere - and I do, with you. Because there is nowhere else I would rather be. But when I can't be at your side? This is where I come back to, because this moment, this small pocket of time between one incredible life and the next - this is home too. My most precious memory. Because it led me to you."
Kili's breath caught as below them his past self glided through the shadows, through the darkness, taking form only in the radiant light, to bask in Fili's golden presence and shower him in compliments.
'Magic.' Kili had called Fili's performance back then, knowing full well to what he was comparing it. Fili was so much more, and yet nothing else had come close.
Their surroundings burst into golden sparks, sand blown away by the winds of time. Their past selves remained, smiling, just a bit longer, before they too lost form. The breeze gently pulling their shimmering silhouettes through the air, dancing, mingling, becoming one, before finally being lost to the wind.
Fili - his Fili, Fili now, as Kili was - remained.
"Shall we? We still have an eternity to explore after all. And many more wonderful moments of our own to create."
The smile on Fili's face was just as warm as that very first day. His hand just as inviting. Kili took it, let his own magic fly free between them, fireworks just for them.
There was always more to explore, always more to see - and no one else he would rather see it with. Old or new, unexpected or like coming home.
Kili had been born magic. Fili had played it.
But together they made it.

Cinderellus Pt.1 (male!reader)

“You know, 40 isn’t enough for the amount of coke you’ve been doing tonight.” The girl next to Rafe just laughs and looks him deep in the eye. “Oh..really ? Maybe I could give you something else in exchange for the coke~” He wasn’t up for chit chat this night. “ Cut the bullshit, alright ?” Not needing to hear it a second time the girl hands him 40 again and grabs for her bag. “ Sooner or later I’m gonna get you, Cameron”, she announces with a flirty smile and brushes Rafe’s shoulder with her free hand while making her way to the cocktail bar. Like a machine the wannabe drugdealer counted how much profit he made so far. Luckily it was exactly the amount he promised Barry to deliver by tomorrow afternoon. And given the fact that the night was still young... Relaxed Rafe leaned back, stuck the money in his chest pocket and looked at the ceiling. Ignoring the loud music and the chattering people around him, he slowly began to smile. All these teenagers and their cravings for drugs...were a fucking gold mine for him. He knew right away that he was the perfect fit for the job. Barry should be grateful to have him ! Hell ! His dad should be grateful to have such a genius son !! ...Not that this wish would ever come true... But... Who cares about such shit ..if they can literally swim in coke ?! Trying to sniff the unwanted pain and itchy feeling in his stomach away, Rafe  saw Kelce running towards him. “C-Code..”, he was out of breath “ Code Red, man ! They are about to do some shit..Hurry up !” “..These fucking Pogues !” This couldn’t end well. “Hurry up! They are coming !”,Pope sounded alarmed as he looked at the sign of Kelce and Rafe fighting their way through the crowd looking super pissed. Kie and Sarah grabbed as much of the food as possible while the guys took care of the alcohol. “ Let’s go !”, John B screamed with a big fat smile on his lips. “ Incoming package, fancy prigs~”, JJ laughed as they pushed their way out of the villa. The girls were running with full hands infront of JJ and Y/N. John B and Pope were already further away. Y/N wasn’t really used to this whole ‘run for your life with stolen goods in your hands..and if you get caught you’re dead’ situation. He was only here for vacations and a true city boy by heart... Which meant that Y/N was definitely not trained in mastering a chase in flip flops. The sand under his feet made it even harder to run. “J-J...I-I”, he could feel how his power slowly leaving him making him an ideal prey for the two really mad Kook’s right behind them. Biting his teeth JJ shock his head. “Not gonna happen ! Sharp right !”, Y/N felt JJ’s grip around his arm as he dragged him suddenly through a bush into a garden. Y/N was under so much stress that he didn’t even realized that he had just lost a shoe focusing only on succesfully escaping these Kooks. “Oh man..We lost them. Fuck we lost them !”,angry Kelce picked up the flip flop and threw it away. Rafe ran slowly his hand through his hair as the sun slowly went down. “I’m gonna kill them” “ Thank god, you made it !”, relieved Pope stood up from the porch. “Oh my god..”, Y/N whispered and sat down on the stairs. “You guys are crazy !” “ I know”, JJ responded happily and walked towards Pope. “...But don’t worry cousin ! Once we somehow improve your survival skills, you gonna be a great Pogue !” “ ..yippie ya yeah” After they spend the whole night eating, dancing and drinking Y/N was a mess. He could bearly lift his legs. Damn..what dancing, good food and alcohol free drinks could do for damage.. The other were still asleep when he decided to take a walk in his area to wake himself up. “ Chicken Nuggets” whispered someone as Y/N was about to go. Smiling he turned around. They definitely drank too much of the Tequila. “Crazy people..”, he couldn’t help but smile. Maybe he could visit his best girl Jo. Lucky for (Y/N) there weren’t many customers in the store which made it easier to get to the counter. “Hey Jo, What’s up ?”, he gifted her with his widest smile. “ Oh my ! Come here...arghh”, she was about to hug him when her back gave an unhealthy sound. “ Are you alright ?”, worried he looked at Joe. “Damn this old lady bones ! ..Am I really that old ?” “I mean...70 is-” “That was a rhetorical question !”, she grumbled as she suddenly went quiet. “Hey, you !” (Y/N) could feel someone standing behind him and just turned around relaxed. “Yea-” Oh shit. “You know where I can find (Y/N) Mayfield ?” ....dear lord,no.

"Serenity!! Where are you now? You know I'm going to find you eventually."
I sighed apparently hiding continuously from Tom never ends up working in my favor because he always manages to find me no matter where I hide. No matter how dark of a cave  I find or the time I literally buried myself in the sand he still manages to find me.
Don't get me wrong or anything, Tom's a nice guy and all but already having to be stuck down here for a month and half with someone I hardly knew kinda sucks but then again I was also betrayed by Sam who claimed he loved me and I was also beginning to get homesick.
"Ah I found you!" Tom exclaimed, popping his face into my line of vision. I really thought I had him this time hiding in the smallest space I could find in this cave.
"You know if you're trying to hide, you should really make sure to hide your tail next time too." I slightly rolled my eyes but couldn't stop the small smile that was forming on my face, and looked at my tail that I have yet become accustomed to.
Since I've been down here I've gotten to know Tom a little bit and his very kind and care free attitude. How he's like a ball of sunshine hidden in the depths of the water, or how he's always so optimistic with everything. He's really tried his best to get me accustomed to my tail by teaching me how to swim with it but I apparently look like a squirt trying to swim for the first time which apparently what they call babies down here.
I could see myself becoming very good friends with him, he hasn't really pushed the issuse of what happened to me or how I got here and I know its bothering him. Because every time he asks about it or when it seems like he's about to bring it up I completely change the topic or I will avoid his question. He's a nice guy and all but right now after everything thats happened I think it's best to keep him at arms length until I know for sure I won't be hurt or betrayed again.
He pokes at my tail  "It honestly doesn't make any sense on why your tail is gold, because there are normally only three colors for our tails! So why is yours so different," He exasperated.
I remember when Tom explained to me that there are only the three tail colors, and they each have different meanings and or different jobs.
-
"I still don't understand why your tail is gold, it's really starting to baffle me."
"Well you're the only fish person I've seen since I've been here so is it really not that common?" I asked.
Tom huffed and rolled his eyes at me "First off its MERFOLK not fish person. And it is actually really rare down here that its literally the only one I've ever seen, down here there are only 3 colors of tails which generally  puts you into one of the 3 categories. 1st being a green tail which is the most common tail. When you have a green tail it means that these people are your every day normal people such as people who own the stores teachers or just stay at home parents. A person with a Blue tail like mine means that they are a healer and a baby blue means that they are a scientist these tails really aren't that common and only several people have this color. Now the most rare color is an orange tail it means that they are warriors such as guards or soldiers," He explained while making all these weird hand gestures. " We are all normally born with a purple tail signifying that we are still children, but once we turn 16 our tails will change into one of the three colors.
"Wait you said three colors but listed four you said two different blues so wouldn't there technically be four color categories instead of three?" I asked.
"No, not really we tend to just lump both blues together since they are just slight different shades."
"So you than you are a healer?" I said poking his tail.
"Yes! I normally work with children since they are normally the more fun patients," he smiles and stares off into the distant.
"Huh, well I didn't know that."
"Well Serenity that's because you refuse to leave this cave that you decided to make as a make shift home for the past 2 weeks, which by the way you really should come into town one of these days. Carrying all this food out this far is getting a little tiring," he glanced to the side and smirked at me.
I playful shoved him away from me, which in turn made him laugh like crazy. "Come on I'm serious! You should come into town with me. I have a free room with a bed in it by the way, and I'm sure my roommate won't mind you taking the spare room for awhile."
I tilted my head side ways "You guys have beds down here?"
He looked at me bewildered "Yes, why do you guys sleep on the floor like a sea urchin?"
I raised one eyebrow and looked at him "A what?"
He smacked his forehead really hard "A sea urchin," he said slowly "You know it's like a pokey ball looking thing they lay on the sea floor but are also found in the hold of rocks."
"I've never seen one before in my life, but no we don't sleep on the floor we have beds too. That's why I was surprised when you said you own a bed," I was trying to avoid eye contact with him and just chose to stare at my tail.
He sighed "You ready are something else Serenity. But seriously you should come back with me to my place."
I bit my lip an old habit I have when I'm feeling nervous "Are you sure I can come? Won't my tail attract a lot of attention with everyone since it's never been seen before?"
He ponder for a moment "Hmmm I never thought about that, maybe we can sneak you in at night,  everyone is in bed to begin with anyways-"
"Wait why is everyone in bed?" I interrupted him.
"Well we have a curfew," He stated.
"Oh? Why"
He side glances me for a few minutes before he finally decides to respond "I honestly don't remember why."
You don't really respond to Tom you can He is hiding something from you but you can't blame him since you refuse to up up to him most of the time so instead you just give him a nod and sit in silence for a few more minutes. "Okay I'll go with you into town," you sighed
Tom throws his fist in the air as some weird sign of victory "YES!"
-
"Okay, remember you said you would be coming with me back to my place tonight so we will have to wait for sun down until we can swim into town."
"What about Sharks though? Won't they attack us and try to eat us?" I asked looking away from him.
Tom began to laugh hard, it was one of those hearty laughs the kind where he was doubled over holding his stomach with tears streaming down his face. "That's the funniest think I've ever heard you say."
I glared at him not really appreciating him not taking me seriously "I'm serious! I've heard stories about them before and they are very dangerous."
He continued to laugh for 5 more minutes without being able to look at me because every time he did he would just start laughing again so I just glared at him until he was finally calm enough to respond to me. "Sharks are literally the nicest creatures we have, most of them are to shy to even come close to us and land walkers, there are only maybe a few species who would attack us and even than they don't live anywhere near us."
I sighed in relief "Okay, I guess I'll believe you then and by the way we are called humans."
He grinned at me "Don't worry everything will be fine I promise we can get in without people seeing you, and even if we need help I know a guard who could help us out plus I know for a fact that my roommate wouldn't care he more than likely would want to look at your tail because he's a Scientist so it will definitely peak his interest once he's sees it."
I nervously chewed on my lower lip not liking the sound of that at all 'what if he puts me in a cage to study me, or starts to poke and prod at me with things that might kill me, OR what if he decides not to let me stay and forces me to leave what would I do than. I mean I guess I could come back to this cave, but what if he throws me out during the day?! Then I'll definitely be screwed!'
"Stop it Serenity, you're thinking too much about it," he chuckles lightly "I promise it will be okay."
I stare straight into his eyes to see if he's being dishonest, can I trust him? I've only known him for a little over a month but can I really trust him. I knew Sam for almost 6 years and when it came down to it he decided to save himself instead of protecting like he said he would, with a seconds thought. But looking at Tom sitting next to me with a dopey smile on his face I just have this feeling deep down that he's being genuine, but I still have to keep my guard up around him just in case but maybe just taking a little bit of the wall down would be okay.
"Okay, I trust you."

Bunny House
Summary: After seeing an image online, Wilford decides that his hand JJ’s pet bunny Sniffles needs an outdoor home, leading to some mess, laughs, and a surprise
Bunny House
JJ watched with a tilted head as Wilford carried a large supply of wood, paint, and other tools required for building a, and he quotes, ‘bunny home’. The bunny who would use the home was their little white bunny named Sniffles. Sniffles was mostly white with a black nose, black around his eyes, and a black heart-shaped surrounding his tail. Sniffles was always, well, sniffling and was currently sitting on top of JJ’s legs, dozing off in the warmth from the sun.
“There we are.” Wilford grunting, dropping the last bit of wood. “That should be enough for this.”
“Should be? Didn’t you sketch this out?” JJ asked, hands moving and the words appearing in Wilford’s mind, looking like subtitles across his eyes. JJ didn’t really have a voice, he could make some noises, but his speech was through sign language and a little bit of magic for those who didn’t know the language or weren’t looking at him.
“I mean, I did make a sketch.” Wilford pulled a rolled-up piece of paper out of his back pocket. He went over to JJ and showed him the rough sketch.
“There aren’t any measurements.” JJ pointed. “How do you know if you do have enough or if everything will line up?”
“I’m a master craftsman, my sweet sugarplum, I got this.” Wilford kissed JJ on the forehead as he took his drawing back.
“I feel like I need to call Dark to help.” JJ looked down when he felt movement, seeing Sniffles using his hind leg to scratch behind his ear.
“I don’t need Dark’s help.” Wilford puffed out his chest.
“Now I have to call him.” JJ took out his phone.
“No.” Wilford tried to snatch the phone but lost his footing, causing him to fell over on top of JJ, thankfully Sniffles hoped away in time and was now just bouncing along in the grass. “How’s it going~” Wilford grinned at his and JJ’s position.
“Are you going to kiss me or what?” JJ giggled when Wilford perked up from that.
“Yes, sir.” Wilford chuckled and dove right in. JJ happily sighed into the kiss and nestled his fingers in Wilford’s hair. They both suddenly stopped the kiss when they heard someone clear their throat.
“You weren’t enjoying the show?” The voice and giggle told them right away that Anti and Dark were there.
“What brings you here, Dark?” Wilford asked, getting off of the ground and JJ. JJ stayed down and reached over to scoop Sniffles up, who let out a little sneeze.
“I heard news of a robbery of a hardware store and they stated that several gallons of pink paint had been stolen as well.” Dark raised a brow. “So I added two and two together.”
“I’m just simply making a little home for Sniffles, no need to fret,” Wilford said.
“Do you know how?” Dark said as Anti went over to JJ, plopping down next to him.
“I have a plan.” Wilford showed Dark his drawing.
“There are no measurements,” Dark stated.
“No, there are no measurements.” Wilford huffed.
“Guess I’m helping.”
“I don’t need-”
“You are not about to saw off your own arm.” Dark slipped off his blazer and tossed it at Anti, who caught it and bundled it up into a ball, hugging his arms around it. “Roll up your sleeves, they’re going to get in the way,” Dark said as he worked on his own sleeves.
“You could just take your shirts off,” Anti suggested, JJ silently giggling with him.
“No. Where are your goggles.” Dark went over to the pile of supplies.
“The what?”
“Oh boy.”
Several hours passed as Dark and Wilford worked. JJ and Anti had gone in and came out with some lemonade at one point, which led to Wilford making a joke about the two being in maid’s outfits the next time, JJ blushed and Anti was more than willing to go back in and change. Dark interrupted that conversation, and potential chaos, by saying they needed to get sanding.
Finally, after all the nails were hammered it, the cornered were sanded softer and passing ‘the wiggle test’ the foundation of the bunny house was made and they could get to the painting.
“I’ve been wanting to use one of these forever,” Wilford said as he prepped a large airbrush, loading it with pink paint.
“I don’t know if we should trust him with that,” Anti said.
“As long as he aims for the house, I won’t hit him,” Dark said, crossing his arms.
“I wouldn’t mind seeing you coated in pink,” Anti smirked.
“That would be a sight to see.” JJ gave Dark a smile.
“I’m going to separate you two.” Dark didn’t like how Anti and JJ both giggled at that.
“And done!” Wilford hollered.
“Alrea-” Dark stopped himself, seeing that the house was, in fact, fully pink, but so were Wilford’s hands.
“Guess I got a little too excited.” Wilford chuckled and put down the airbrush. “I’m going to go pop in and give these a quick wash. You guys feel free to get started on the decorations.”
“I can make the bubbles.” JJ offered.
“Making those yellow stripes is going to be a bitch.” Anti said, looking at Wilford’s drawing again. “We should have taped then or something.”
“Shouldn’t be too much of a hassle, maybe two or three coats should cover it.” Dark shrugged. JJ felt something bump against his leg and found Sniffled headbutting his ankle, pouting. JJ knew what that meant and he picked him up, placing him on top of his head before getting to painting.
“That’s adorable,” Wilford said when he came back out, tucking his phone into his back pocket. “Although everything that you do is adorable.” He added, going over to JJ and giving him a kiss on the cheek.
“Are you going to make out in front of us again?” Anti teased.
“Don’t tempt me.” Wilford winked, grabbing a paintbrush.
“Just paint.” Dark cut Anto off before he could say anything. Anti just stuck his tongue out at Dark and they all went to work painting. JJ and Wilford painted bubbles to both roofs, Dark and Anti made yellow and blue stripes to the second floor and after those were done, made a candy-cane type swirl with blue on the bottom roof’s support beams.
“Are we late?” Edward called out as he and Henrik walked into the yard.
“Oh! Hello.” JJ straightened up when he saw the two, Sniffles still in his hair and sleeping. “More hello.” He added, seeing Google, Bing, Marvin, Chase, Robbie, Host, Bim, and Yandere coming to the yard as well. “What are you all doing here?”
“We’re still coming!” Phantom shouted with a laugh as he rushed over with Jackie. Mare, Mad, Blank, CJ, and RJ were following them.
“Why is everyone here?” JJ asked, looking at Wilford.
“For the grand finale of Sniffles’ home,” Wilford said, gesturing for JJ to go over to the crowd of friends.
“I knew he had something more planned,” Dark said softly to Anti as they walked over as well.
“Allow me to first.” Wilford grabbed a bottle of black spray paint and he went to the front of the little house, shaking the bottle before popping off the lid and spraying on the house:
Sniffles Jackson-Warfstache
“Ta-da!” Wilford bowered when he was done.
“Jackson-Warfstache?” Mad placed a hand to his face and tilted his head. “Isn’t it common for last names to be hyphenated together like that when people get married and don’t want to only have one last name?”
“And this is why I invited you over, my smart lad.” Wilford chuckled, heading over to JJ. “He’s a little blunter than even I am.” He added before going down on one knee, getting some gasps from the others. “And I knew I’d have an active audience.” Wilford reached into his pocket and took out a small box.
“You are not.” JJ took Sniffles off of his head, already tearing up.
“We’ve been together for many years and lived together for so long as well. I can’t see a future without you in it so I only found it right-” Wilford opened the box and a ring was shown, a gold band with flawless round red rubies inside. “-to ask you to be mine forever. JJ, will you do me the honor of-”
“Yes!” JJ jumped. “Yes, yes, yes!”
“You’re supposed to let him-” Google was stopped by Bing putting a hand over his mouth.
“Yes!” Wilford jumped up and hugged JJ tightly, spinning around with him. “He said yes!” Sniffles let out a squeak. “Oh! Sorry, little buddy.” Wilford let JJ go. “You’re going to make a great ring-bunny.”
“I have a feeling this wedding is going to be...chaotic.” Dark sighed.
“And you’re going to be one of the best men.” Anti bumped Dark with his hip.
“Shit.”
