i can't believe it's over wtf (Love Sea final ep thoughts)

its joever yall... it's not even hitting me that it's over because we still have the special ep to go but omg.... it's the end.

hats off to fortpeat. i love them so much i'm so sad that love sea is done (at least, the main story is). i had my gripes with parts of this story but in the end i was mainly here to see these two do what they love.

i believe mut mostly knew how tongrak would react to his confession. his dialogue to mook last episode proved deep down, he already knew the answer. the first few minutes of this episode showed his hesitation and reluctance, but his courage pushed through in the end. i think fort did amazing here. his pain from experiencing a rough rejection was so clearly on display. (and peat does that eye shifting thing with tongrak to show the beginning of panic.)

it's terrible yall. it was hard to watch. i do not like couple fights.

peat's hair here is good tho. omg i was focusing so hard on visuals because i didn't want the pain

big shoutout to vie in this ep. while she didn't spell out what rak should do, she basically held rak's hand through the whole ordeal.

mahasamut's last meeting with meena and kwan omg.. when he started crying realizing tongrak's meaning by the number 8.. how much more can my heart shatter lmao

and big ouch at palm's dialogue here. he meant it in a light way, but mahasamut really DID come back without his heart.

yo tongrak was so heartbroken he started dressing like his face twin from the other mame series.

AND ok like when tongrak chased after the trash car, at first i was feeling the pain and then i remembered how twitter clowned that running shot yesterday and i started LAUGHING oh my god!!!!! like i'm so sorry BUT I DON'T CLAIM THE FAULT FOR THIS everyone was saying he was running after the ice cream truck in the episode poster and i saw it in that moment!!!!!!!

back to regular business, this hits painfully hard actually.

tongrak's main fear being their "end" if they start a real relationship despite not even knowing if it'll come true. it's a very real fear people have (not just for romantic relationships), the mindset that "if it can end badly or if i can't succeed, why try anyways"

i love rak and vie's friendship in this show. dare i say it's way more fleshed out than the GL side plot they have going on. on that note, what even happened with the girls mame... how come they're just together. what HAPPENED.

but vie is The driving factor to pushing tongrak to follow mahasamut. she's so important to tongrak and i love it!

now, idk what was the call here for filming this part at night. it was kinda dark, but mut's pain was clear as day anyways. tongrak, in his own way, wanted to return mut's feelings, but because he couldn't SAY IT, mahasamut ends up misunderstanding his motives.

i really did tear up at rak's recorded confession though. my god i was kinda worried how that would come out, but peat's recording was well done. their confession on the beach was so cathartic to watch. LIKE FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!

and everything after was sooo sweet. fortpeat has the fluff DOWN as always.

but also omg the last scene with rak buying the house. absolutely love how at first he was excited, but then seeing mut's serious expression and realizing he should've said something omg.. the way he shrunk himself. and fort's face here oouughghg HELLO PEOPLE!!! GIVE HIM HIS SERIOUS ROLES ALREADY. I THINK THIS ENTIRE EP IS PROOF ENOUGH.

please i'm so serious he looked so hot in this scene.

All within a moment, your back was slammed into a wall and Seungcheol was staring you down.

"Pathetic..." He spit the word at you, cold eyes indifferent as he curled his fingers around your neck. "You really thought you'd get away with this, didn't you?"

You swallowed hard, hands tugging at his grasp. "I... I didn't--"

His hand grew tighter for a moment, pushing you harder against the wall. "I should kill you right now," he growled. "But I won't. We deserve an audience, don't we?" The cruel smile that tugged at his lips terrified you. Fuck, if only you hadn't lost your knife earlier--you wasted your last shot while he was pursuing you, and you'd dropped the gun when he grabbed you. "He'll be here soon."

You started shaking your head, tears brimming. "No. Nonono--Not Chan. Don't you fucking dare touch him--"

His hand grew tighter for just a moment. "Do you really think you're in the position to make orders?" He clicked his tongue. "You truly are stupid. Tell me," he grabbed your hands, pushing them above your head. "Why shouldn't I let him watch as I tear you limb from limb? You made this deal for him."

"I didn't!" You barked, tears running down your cheeks. "He doesn't have anything to do with this, you fucking monster--"

Another slam, and you let out a whimper of pain. Yet he was still cold, tilting his head curiously. "Humans are always so feisty," he clicked his tongue. "All of this just to save his soul... Maybe I should keep you alive. Let you watch as I devour him whole--"

With one swift kick to his abdomen, he lost his grip on you, recoiling from the pain. Immediately, you heard a "cut!" from offstage, and you immediately rushed over to the bent-over Seungcheol while the director said something about getting your doubles back in for this next fight scene. There'd be moments the two of you would need to simulate, but that could wait for when your husband can actually breathe again.

"Oh my god, I told you I didn't need to kick you for real!"

"No, no, it looks better--" He chuckled, straightening up. "Trust me--"

You smacked his arm, already pulling him off set, passing by your doubles. Yours gave you finger guns, calling out something about how that take looked pretty damn good from where they were sitting. To your dismay, the director agreed: the real kick did look better on camera in terms of Seungcheol's legitimate surprise. It fit the moment better, since his character was meant to be shocked at your character overcoming their fear to save their love. So the two of you retreated off set to rest for a minute and hydrate, and you caught the way he was pouting at you.

"I don't like the way Seokjin gets to have so many romance scenes with you." He sighed. He paused, eyes falling to your neck. Sure, the two of you had been walked through the scene plenty of times before on how to make it look real without him hurting you...

Before he could actually touch you to check you over, you swatted his hand away. "I'm fine, Cheol," you said. "Are you really jealous of him?"

"No!" He huffed. "I just hate how we don't get to play romantic roles. We should try to find a romantic role next."

The way he was frowning at you earned a snort from you, and you leaned against him. "Aw, my Cheollie's jealous."

He rolled his eyes, smiling as he settled in. "I'm not. I'm the one who gets to go home with you. I just... I like the idea of playing romantic leads with you. We could play something silly. I think we'd be good at it."

"Yeah, sure--"

"I do!" He pressed a kiss onto the top of your head. Even in his dark contacts and sullen makeup, he still looked handsome. You dreaded the scene where you killed him later: he'd never let you hear the end of it. He took your hand, playing with your fingers as he continued to muse aloud: "I think... It should end in a wedding. So I can marry you all over again--"

You swatted at his arm. "You sap."

He chuckled. "Just for you." He glanced back to where the two of you probably should start heading back in. Seokjin had already been on stand-by since he'd burst into the scene after your one-on-one fight with Seungcheol, and the two of you still had to film more for that for the close-ups...

Yet Seungcheol turned you to face him, kissing you hard and fast. "There." He chuckled. "It's out of my system."

(Although you were positive Seungcheol would steal another after the next scene you had with Seokjin...)

ok so the running bit where stede's crew has never heard of China before. is kinda weird to me. and honestly it kinda runs back to what zheng said in the last episode "one thing i've learned in my time here: you people know so little" about nobody knowing how valuable indigo is. like the show is portraying your average caribbean pirate as really ignorant and only like, ed stede and fucking ricky are on par with zheng yi sao. and i mean knowledge doesnt equate to intelligence so like the indigo thing i didnt really bat an eye at but when it was played for comedy with olu not knowing how to pronounce china i was like... hm. but the season's just started so maybe im reading too much into it but idk. it's a weird writing choice to me.

loving how at the start of last season the crew almost mutinied bc stede was a soft captain but now roach is out here embracing how all of them are "tender as hell."

love how lucius and pete have their romantic reunion chat just. fully in front of an audience

god i LOVE when we get pirate code shit. none of these rules ever make sense it's always just whatever works for the plot's sake. "that's the code of the sea: the new first mate always kills the old first mate. it's always been like that" i don't think it was literally ever like that i think the writers decided that making up this bullshit rule would add drama to the situation. it's like how pirates can win duels by rendering their opponent's sword inoperable (as if pirates ever had like ritualistic duels). or next episode when zheng yi sao is gonna kill them for mutinying against ed. i love how all the logistics of the plot are always some handwavy-bullshit bc the show just Does Not Care about this shit. this is the ed and stede show and everything else is just superfluous set dressing

we were all fixated on lucius living in the walls none of us predicted that it could be izzy living in the walls

lol ok but cuba was not written on the map in the one shot and then stede says "oh, hang on, he might be in cuba!" and it cuts back to the map and he underlines the word "cuba" which somehow mysteriously appeared on the map while stede was chatting. 10/10 no notes

also GOD do i relate to stede so hard sometimes. it did not even occur to stede to ask lucius how he's been until lucius points it out and then he's like "oh! right! how are you??" and he does genuinely care but he was just so absorbed in his own shit it did not occur to him to ask. like. ohhhh baby does that hit home

ok im sorry but "he's our dick" does not feel earned to me. like they use that fantastic shot of the whole crew in episode 6 last season but what's crucial abt that shot is izzy isn't hanging out with the crew. he's sitting away in the corner monologuing abt how he thinks maybe ed might not want to kill stede.

i do think it's significant tho that jim wasn't there for izzy at his worst aka threatening to withhold rations for laughing at him. like they weren't part of the vote to mutiny against izzy. but frenchie was and frenchie was like "start with his leg see where it goes" which does not seem like he's really that invested in keeping izzy alive.

also it's weird how we don't see fang at all for this bit with hiding izzy in the walls. like he would be the one i'd expect to have the strongest connection to izzy bc he knew izzy before the show started and he was hugging and comforting izzy last episode.

anyway imo jim keeping izzy alive is more abt them missing when they were on the ship with olu and the whole crew and the ship was like a family, not necessarily abt feeling loyalty to izzy specifically. i could be wrong tho who knows.

one thing i do know is that it is VERY important to point out how jim is struggling really hard with everything, archie is not. she wasnt there for the co-captaining era at all and she seems to be rolling with everything like it's all expected. this includes the wedding raid and ed pointing a gun at her last season and stuff. even now she's mostly just confused by why jim is bothering to try and keep izzy alive. but she acts like the amputation and the violence are all what she expected.

yay kissing!! with the shit stuffed up their nose and covered in blood and jim still holding the leg GOD I LOVE THIS SHOW

ok i completely forgot abt this scene where the crew back on the Revenge is talking in the hallway before they go confront ed but i think it's rlly interesting how jim is the only one who says anything abt how ed's sudden cheery mood is NOT a good thing. fang is like "do we think he's better?" and jim's like "fuck no!" and frenchie's like "idk he seemed pretty calm to me." like this is so fucking juicy to me. jim knew this wasn't "better." i think this is because jim kinda gets it. they know what it's like to be told you're only meant for violence. and they know what it's like to want something softer. last season i probably wouldnt have said jim understood ed's suicidal tendencies but the way jim KNOWS that this isnt better makes me wonder if they understand this, too.

altho when they go outside and ed is like "it's a bad storm! and i took the wheel! and im gonna fire into the mast! we're all gonna die!!" jim yells "what do you want, you piece of shit!" (in spanish) so maybe they dont get the suicide bit of it. but they did understand that ed wasn't better.

it is a pretty dramatic reveal tho. i didnt appreciate that the first time but holy shit. she's just pulling her ships all the way to the caribbean. girlboss.

so first of all. auntie saying olu can be allowed to clean up random hairs around the desk and zheng being like "there's not that much hair" girl you know you're lying. her hair is so long and so gorgeous and you KNOW random strands end up making scary-ass hair spiders if somebody doesn't regularly sweep things up

second of all: olu pretending there's a carrier bird with a messege for zeng to give her a break is SO CUTE. OLU. OLU YOU ARE SUCH A SWEETHEART.

i am so glad it's finally been said out loud. And that it was Mor who said it because immediately I understood how she was feeling about the entire situation, which made me feel better about her being an asshat at the end of the last chapter. It's strangely therapeutic. As soon as Mor tells Az to shut up though, I couldn't help but start crying a little bit because you really perfected how I thought Mor would've perceived reader going to Eris-

-this line in particular ruined me (not to be too personal n emotional lol), as someone who grew up in a not so great home i can really empathize with Mor here. It's not healthy behavior but I can say that there have been times where I've resented the people in my life who didn't accept help after i had been desperate for it for years. I'm more emotionally aware now and have unpacked those resentments (THANK GOD), but it was such a visceral response to reading that line because it mirrored unhealed me.

The next scene with madja was the perfect balance to mor and azriel's...argument? discussion? idk. You really guide us well through the world which is something I really admire in your writing, it flows very naturally and it always feels like a very natural progression of events. (its just something i've noticed i struggle with in my own wips lol).

compliments aside, it was also really sweet to see reader's peace in this chapter. Madja herself being a very peaceful motherly figure for reader who we know desperately needs that kind of care right now, her sisters are doing great right now but she needs someone who's not family to prove that they do care about her and it will not change over a few mistakes. Which is something that Cassian embodies very well later in the chapter too.

Bas.... sweet guy :( i hope reader gives him the truth. Imo, i think he deserves at least a bit of the truth when she is in a better place to give it (she fr could've said she was at a friend's in autumn. bas doesn't need to know WHO). But Bas held up his own boundaries very well with reader as well and I'm glad that we got a little of his feelings on the situation as well as reader acknowledging she hasn't been a great friend recently. (it's valid tho she's been goin THROUGH IT)

Tabbatha... you keep saying you don't know how to portray cassian but i personally think you do him such a great service ESPECIALLY after some instances of cass's behavior towards nesta's struggles in her own healing journey. I really feel like he actually cares about reader herself compared to rhys who cared about feyre and her only. He makes an effort to get her to relax, which is something acomaf cass would've done and is the version of him i miss the most. And him calling reader out for keeping things to herself? I personally think she needs to be called out and take accountability for her own role in the healing process. He was the perfect person to push her in this scene.

For her to fairly obviously and kind of viciously defend reader but I felt it would be weird for her to go that far, considering Mor is supposed to be feeling very betrayed and hurt by reader? Oh I really liked writing the Madja scene!! I mean, kind of scary obviously, but I enjoy her character and it’s so nice getting to write someone being kind to reader? 😭 Particularly since a fair amount of scenes in cbmthy aren’t particularly lighthearted/high-spirited? I’m hoping to continue dropping scenes with Madja in here and there since it would be weird if reader’s checkups suddenly stopped out of nowhere? Also so she has someone to keep an eye on her who might know a little more about what’s going on with her physically and mentally from experience and studying other people/medicine?

This might be totally unsolicited/unhelpful, but usually for me if a scene isn’t working or I’m struggling to write it, I’ll either change the perspective or switch to something else entirely? Like the scene just after reader’s entered the kitchen with Cassian I was struggling with, which is why there’s that snippet from Rhys’ pov to section them up? I don’t know if that’ll work for other people, but it’s something I fall back on quite regularly so it might help you too? 🫂🧡💛

I’m so glad you feel Cassian read that way!! 😭 I’m kind of of the mind that Nesta’s still protective over her sisters and so that might occasionally stretch across to Cassian at times? Also I just feel like Cassian genuinely cares about people in a more (this might sound strange) innocent way? Like more carefully and tenderly?

I would have loved to write Cassian and reader as being good friends but because Cassian’s friends with Feyre I think reader would still always feel in second place and unfortunately it might hinder her more than help 😭

Overall rating i'd say is about 9/10 cause the ending missed some vibes, its not racist that's always a plus.

Favorite Ship/Pairing: i am a bkdk all the way, but i also am a multi ship in the sense that i think all pairings are great. there's just so many, so much love to give. honorable mention is EraserMight tho, they're cute 😚

Something I Love About the Show/Movie: i think it has a lot of really good lessons that i fear a lot of people don't reflect on. like it's good content bc of the basic plot line of students learning how to be better heroes than the last generation, and they're all super strong, etc. but the hard hitting plot lines like the todoroki family. god i could go on and on for hours just talking about them and how endeavor and all might–the top heroes– were the catalysts and quite ultimately the downfall of hero society. i honestly could talk for hours about BNHA but tldr; i really like how many aspects we get of heroism. i think everyone can find themselves in at least one character. they're so relatable even on our scale of normal human living.

I feel like wwx doesn't feel like he even has the right to have an attachment outside of the jiangs? in some scenes he's really enthusiastic about himself and lwj being partners but in others he hastily denies it in order to smooth things over with jc, so jc doesn't feel abandoned. oof. we'll get to that

god damn I love the lyrics to wuji. they almost don't matter, since they never come up after this and they're not relevant to the song's significance within the narrative, but they're perfect. it's about the struggles of a lifetime, about grief and joy, the ups and downs of being in the world, of reputation lost and gained. vague and poetic, and achingly relevant. that last line about sharing a tune together at the horizon....that's the finale, isn't it? just beautifully put together and a powerful reflection of the story itself, wwx's rise and fall and the pains and joys he's going to face. cannot believe a 16 yr old wrote that. tho if it was anyone, it would be lwj wouldn't it

I've read a few fics where they sleep together in the cave and 1. nasty and 2. that would make him just leaving after so much worse 😭 I do not endorse the first time cave sex headcanon. I still don't think it would realistically happen until ep 43. too early here, and after sunshot wwx is terrified of anyone touching him because they'll be able to tell he's lost his core. so as fun as angsty sunshot hookups are, I simply cannot see it. tho that would technically also be a factor in ep43, I don't think wwx cares as much by then if lwj knows

see, here he's trying to make jc feel better by calling lwj boring and jc just - lashes out. wwx tries this entire scene to deflect praise onto jc and diminish his accomplishments and to support jc and jc just treats him like shit. no wonder their relationship is so terrible later if jc treats him like this just bc he's mad. can't he see that wwx has no more control over this situation than jc does? he's just the acceptable target in jc's eyes bc jc can't be mad at his parents!

like wen chao was trying to murder mm and string up her body to attract the monster which they were going to be expected to fight without weapons. what the fuck was he supposed to do? and he's not even the one who started the fight! AND if he hadn't stayed behind, how could everyone else has escaped? I didn't see jc offering any other solutions! jesus

it sucks that jfm is implying that jc doesn't have the right temperament to lead the clan, but he's literally the only person in authority to push back against jc's treatment of wwx this arc. and he's literally right that you shouldn't speak from anger. it's not what a leader should do, it's not fair or just, it doesn't allow you to speak wisely or carefully, and it's not something that will lead anywhere good. but after this arc all jc does is lead from anger and bitterness!

it's also so twisted that wwx feels responsible for this and tries to defend jc as 'he's just mad and venting' which he says is fine here but later in the story he bitterly complains about. like I know he loves and misses LP as an adult but this entire situation was absolutely noxious for everyone involved. ppl talk about jyl being parentified but wwx felt obligated to do the same for jc as well and put aside all his own needs and emotions for jc's as soon as this shit starts up. he acts like the undeserving servant as soon as he feels like he needs to I feel dizzy

Favorite episode and why

blood must not have blood aka the s2 finale!!! it's just so incredible. everything is building to this horrible decision that clarke has to make and i love how she's basically where she was in the first episode. like it was always going to end that way she was always going to have to pull that lever and she tried everything to come to any other outcome, she sacrificed finn, she let the bomb drop on TonDC and it didn't work, and as awful as it is, it is arguably her most heroic moment so. also i love how it sets up s3, the murphy stuff is great and clarke leaving is brilliant, the clexa betrayal is supreme and the blarke goodbye is amazing. even tho s3 didn't rlly deliver so well on those threads, it was just iconic!!

some disorganised thoughts on Where the Wolfsbane Blooms because i wrote a lot and had a bunch of ideas

good news: miki isnt dead because i would not kill off a main character like that, and his psiionics aren't completely burnt out, he just overclocked them. im planning on writing a follow-up drabble to this to explain exactly what's happened and how he's feeling about it all, but yeah. ice boy will still be ice boy-ing

this bitch was fucking Long and went through multiple edits to cut it down, but i only cut a single scene from it. at the end i had initially written miki thinking about lyvere as well as thrixe, but as much as i did like him having the realisation that 'oh theres someone else i want to come home to as well' i ultimately felt like it was taking away from the main objective of Bring Thrixe Home so i had to scrap it. sorry lyvere, miki is still lowkey down bad for you tho

the use of psiionic stimulants was a call-back to the thread in which miki and thrixe first fought some fae, and thrixe had offered some to miki which he vehemently refused because he knew how dangerous it'd be for him when his psiionics are so unstable. so him willingly using them and going over the suggested dosage was both a sign that A. this situation was dire, and B. miki was more than willing to kill himself and everyone around him if it meant saving his moirail. safety would not bring him home, after all.

i was inspired by ullane's fights with the fae in In Cold Blood to make miki's fight against the royal knight to be a lot more gross and visceral, and i had a little chuckle when ullane speared the fae with tree roots in As Mayflies because id written miki doing the exact same technique with his ice spikes and cloud and i hadnt planned that at all. our deranged trolls are on the same wavelength

other inspirations for the royal knight fight: dungeon meshi (the scene where laios deliberately gets his leg caught in the red dragon's jaws so he was in position to slash its weak point), yuki yuuna (karin's last stand), and... the biolizard fight from sonic adventure 2. originally i was going to use a lyric from supporting me as the title, but then Werewolf Gimmick came on shuffle when i was driving home from work one night and it hit me that it worked way better. and for the follow-up drabble i can use another mountain goats lyric to keep the theme!

idk what disease the royal knight was meant to represent either. i thought of it being covered in boiling hot acid because then there'd be more of a challenge for miki to take it down, and i really loved how julie raur described godzilla in this essay about the responses to the atomic bomb in japanese pop culture and art. so maybe it represents radiation sickness or compilations involving nuclear weaponry, but before i read that essay i was joking to myself that it was an acid reflux fae

originally the fae was also going to be Full Of Acid inside and miki biting it's tail was going to be a lot more painful for him, but then it hit me that if it also has the same boiling acid inside it then miki's plan to freeze it from the inside-out would not work. i also struggled to figure out how to get miki off the knight's back cuz i knew i wanted him to try to go shadow of the colossus on that thing but also get flung off and break his arm, and i'd already gotten him wrapped up by the nautilus fae and i did not want to do the same thing twice (granted it still tried to choke him out but ig that isnt as egregious). but then cloud reminded me that the fae can use magic and was like OHHHH DUH ok woe. binding spell be upon ye

also this drabble hit my favourite trope of a character who has every intention of dying in battle and spending most of their life feeling apathetic to their own well-being realising in their final moments that they actually want to live. these three sentences are my absolute favourite ones in the entire drabble:

Soulmates were a very tricky thing. Once someone thought they had discovered all there was to this phenomenon, a new wonderful flourish of mystery appeared. For instance, it was previously thought that once you met your soulmate, the red string tied around your ring finger would turn a different color.

Apparently, in your case, you were special. The universe decided to share your soulmate with you at the worst possible moment. Because it was nice like that.

Agatha Harkness could only be described as a pain in your ass. You had met the witch during a particularly tough battle and while you were sweating buckets trying to defeat the monster attacking New York (why was it always New York?), Agatha sat off to the side in a lawn chair, on the sidewalk, pointing out obvious things like:

“Watch out for that building!”

“Oohh so close…”

“Come on darling, we’re all rooting for you!”

(It must be noted she was wearing sunglasses, it was a cloudy day, and sipping a piña colada)

Ever since then, she had taken it upon herself to seemingly make your life a living hell. If you went to fight a villain, she was there. If you took out one bad guy, she took out five. Constantly outdoing you, constantly bragging.

So, one day, today, when you were called in for a mission, you expected her constant annoying pestering.

You definitely weren’t expecting this.

The mutant you were fighting had the ability to manipulate gravity and was currently attempting to use said ability to turn the Empire State into a shish kabob. Stealthy, you had snuck up behind him, your own powers buzzing in your palms when he sent out a blast of anti gravity, throwing you off and sending you flying out into the sky. Since your powers didn’t include that of flight, you were certain your next act would to crash into the side walk. After you closed your eyes to brace yourself, you felt a warmth surrounding you. You opened your eyes to see purple light holding you in place, hundreds of feet in the air. Arms soon wrapped around you, making you spin your head around. Agatha smirked.

“Honey, if you wanted me to hold you, all you had to do was ask-”

She cut herself off, looking down at your hand. You scrunched your eyebrows in confusion, one at her bewildered look and two at her silence, and looked to where she was looking. What you saw made your heart practically stop beating.

The red strings attached to both of your ring fingers stretched out, braiding into each other while shifting into a dark purple. Agatha raised her eyes to examine your face as you took in this new information. When you looked up, your eyes were a mix of a blank expression and one of panic.

“You have got to be kidding me.”

The end of the battle came quickly as Agatha knocked out the mutant and begrudgingly returned the Empire State Building back to it’s original spot. Before you could even blink, you were poofed away. Startled, you stumbled backwards, your legs hitting a couch, causing you to collapse into the cushions. Agatha appeared next to you, wearing casual clothing as the leaned on the arm of the couch, her eyes examining you. For some reason, you found yourself blushing under her intense gaze. Agatha cocked her head to the side, raising her left hand up to show the soulmate string.

“So…”

You didn’t say anything, your posture rigid as you turned your head to stare at her wall.

“Honey, you need to look at me when I’m talking to you.” Agatha snapped, her voice void of the humor she used around you. Purple magic wrapped around your head, turning your gaze back to her. You sighed, rolling your eyes as you crossed your arms and leaned back into the couch.

“Look, Agatha, we don’t need to do anything about this. We can just go along our normal lives, forget that the universe made a mistake, and find partners who we don’t feel like strangling-”

The purple magic came to press on your mouth, silencing you. You also felt the warmth of Agatha’s magic wrapping around your wrists, holding them in place. The witch stood up from her place on the couch, only to stand in front of you. You looked up at her, watching as her blue eyes stared down at you. She then leaned forward, placing a hand on either side of you, her face inches away from yours. You cursed your heart for speeding up, revealing thoughts and feelings you had tried to bury from the beginning. You had always found her beautiful, too beautiful, that’s one of the reasons why you were so annoyed with her. Oh and the constant sarcastic, flirty, remarks-

Something clicked inside your mind, memories playing like a movie montage in your mind. Aside from the first time you met, Agatha wasn’t being purposely annoying, she was flirting with you. And your oblivious ass chose violence instead.

“Darling, in case the little purple string on our fingers didn’t send the message clear enough, you’re mine. And I don’t intend on sharing.”

Her cold tone sent shivers down your spine and you nodded, your mind still blown by the idea she could actually like-like you. The magic on your mouth and wrists disappeared and Agatha stood up straight again, preparing to walk out of the room due to your silence.

“Agatha!” You blurted out, standing up quickly. The witch turned to your direction, her eyes boring into you as you fiddled with your fingers.

“I don’t think- I mean I guess,” you huffed at your inability to form words as Agatha stalked closer to you, a predatory look growing in her eyes, “God damn it I have a crush on you,” You whispered not so quietly as the realization hit you like a train, “So maybe you don’t have to…share…”

You trailed off at Agatha’s closeness, your back now hitting the wall as she caged you in. A smile, genuine and beautiful, grew on her face as she leaned in, chuckling.
