as much as i'm a little disappointed to see the last shred of old sso go, and the fact that so much writing has been retconned, i actually do like erissa's design.

the color palette is beautiful and really stands out, though i don't know quite how i feel about it when compared to the other dark riders. because of them being a group, i'd hope for the designs to be a little more cohesive. i do understand, however, that they are all individuals and that it is nice to have some visual differences. the thing is, all the old dark rider designs used to go together a lot more, and have a stronger sense of unity.

despite those opinions, this design is really wonderful. sure, it looks a little bit like madison, but i think that's mostly because of the pigtails and shit eating grin.

my favorite part, though, is the little eye motif throughout her outfit! the eye on her patchwork skirt/shorts, and a decorative ball on her sweater that also resembles an eye. i'm soso curious as to what it means/alludes to but i guess we'll just have to wait n see

oh and your question about the fox motive & angrboda: i had to read through an article in norwegian for this btw BUT it's most likely that santa monica were inspired by the concept of dyrefylgja or fylgja (someone who follows), the former is an animal which can have the role of a guardian (sort of), or the animal who is supposed symbolize certain traits in humans - just like in the old school sagas. a fox is as you said sly, tricky... but also nimble, intelligent, and sweet AND WHO DOES THAT REMIND YOU OF? 🧐 but this is just my thoughts, theories, hypothesis, i'm just curious to see if this is true or not AHA

it also could just be that atreus is a wolf guy and it makes sense that angrboda is a fox because they're not far from each other, wolf and fox have many things in common, they just make a lovely pair - and in ironwood angrboda not only has wolves but foxes to take care of. (in MatPat's voice) BUT HEY THAT'S JUST A THEORYYY

angrboda the next guardian after laufey, alongside atreus 👀this might confirm a theory i already had that she'd rule over jotunheim with atreus bc the giants(and other realm residents) voted for them to be. her additional role would be a guardian of dreams/visions possibly?

2 Mimic theory

Wife and I cooking up a new batch of FNAF theories that are probably super wrong. Spoilers for Security Breach Ruin (and references to the Tales from the Pizzaplex books) under the cut.

There are 2 main entities in the Pizzaplex

One is Blob/Storyteller/Tiger Rock. (In Tales from the Pizzaplex, was created using the same technology as Mimic)

The other is basement Mimic/Burntrap.

From its days as Storyteller, Blob is wired throughout the pizzaplex. It controls M.X.E.S and nearly every other system in the Pizzaplex.

Mimic can access the V.A.N.N.I network and can control Helpi.

Blob is trying to keep Mimic trapped, while Mimic is trying to manipulate people (first Vanessa and then Cassie) into freeing it.

When the 'real' Gregory starts speaking to you at the end, that's actually the Blob.

(this next part is wild speculation.) In the recent Pizzaplex book, someone refers to FNAF 6 as a canonical video game in the FNAF universe. I thought that was an error. BUT. If the SB comics are all non-canonical endings that Gregory drew, there's a possibility that 1) he saw the Blob and knows what it looks like. And 2) had never seen the Mimic due to it being locked underground. So in his comic fanfiction, he speculated on what might be trapped in the basement...using the appearance of Scraptrap from the FNAF 6 game he had played.

okay i have a theoryyyyy (can you even call it that??? i dunno probably not) about digital circus. i have thoughts happening in my brain right now and i have to put them somewhere.

basically, if we take the tone of the first two episodes and judge the whole show on that, i think it's gonna be a lit more wholesome than some people think. not pointing any fingers at anyone i promise, i'm just thought dumping.

just take a look at this for a second.

after pomni goes through hell, finds an unlikely friend, and loses him within a single day, she finally gets a moment of calm. of... probably not happiness, but she's alright.

the episode ends on a pretty high note, all things considered.

i think the whole show is gonna be like this. this is only the second episode and the emotional rollercoaster is nothing short of headache-inducing (in a good way). and somehow we're all crying happy tears at the end of it. i'd say that's a good indicator of how things will be next episode, or at least what to vaguely expect?

i'm honestly getting a more episodic kind a plot vibe from this. and i think there might've been something gooseworx said about that but i can't recall. lore-wise, we probably won't get much more than the emotional baggage all the characters are carrying, considering how pomni has probably already accepted that there is NO WAY OUT. she's not shown to be actively looking for an exit anywhere in ep 2 and she says literally nothing about it.

i think each episode will have pomni trying to not explode or something during an adventure, while also spending time with, getting to know, maybe even bonding with (willingly or not) the character the episode centers around. this is just speculation- waffles assumption station, if you will- but i just have a feeling.

pomni helps her fellow prisoners not go insane, like she does with gummigoo. i think he's a stand-in for every other character in whatever situation they find themselves in. like ep 3 is gonna be about zooble and kinger, so maybe pomni's forced to group with them and they all have some kind of vague heart-to-heart?

i dunno. once again, waffles assumption station (chug-a-chug-a-choo-choo). this is probably just me being physically unable to handle angst without a happy ending. and if this show has no happy ending, or at the very least if it doesn't have some kind of ambiguous or bittersweet ending, i WILL be crying oceans. i'll probably cause flash flood warnings in my area

Heyyyyy. I have a Ninjago theoryyyyy.

So, I'm pretty sure it's said/implied in Season 14 that FSM didn't create the realm of Ninjago, but rather he showed up and then created the continents of Ninjago and the Dark Island, which eventually split to seal away the Overlord.

Now, we also know from Season 6 that sister realms exist, because the Cursed Realm and Djinjago are sister realms. I read somewhere that people think these two have no similarities, but that conversation will be shelved for now.

I think Cloud Kingdom and Ninjago are sister realms.

Why do I think that? First off, the only destinies we've seen Cloud Kingdom work on so far has been people in Ninjago or the Cloud Kingdom. Not saying that it isn't possible that they write destinies for other realms, just thst we haven't seen it yet.

Now, remember that conversation we shelved? Yeah, my cat knocked it off the shelf and splayed it out on the table, so now let's talk about the "relations" (?) between the Cursed Realm and Djinjago, and how that can sort of apply to Cloud Kingdom and Ninjago.

First off, let's think about what the Cursed Realm and Djinjago literally are. The Cursed Realm is the place where you get sent to when you've done many horrible things in your life, and get placed into what I assume is a brutal, choiceless dictatorship, judging by the cages and chains we see. Djinjago is a land filled with djin's, people similar to genies that can grant three wishes for you.

The Cursed Realm strips you of your choices, while Djinjago essentially makes your choices limitless (within the three wish parameters, of course). Their inhabitants (from what we've seen from Seasons 5 & 6) are very cruel and manipulative. They have strong similarities and opposites.

So, how does this apply to Ninjago and Cloud Kingdom? First off, Ninjago and Djinjago rhyme, and Cloud Kingdom and the Cursed Realm are two words, thee first word starting with a "C" and the second word being some form of big location. Second, Ninjago was originally a realm completely covered by water, and Cloud Kingdom is literally a kingdom in the clouds! What's more opposite than the sky and the sea??

Speaking of the sky and the sea, the two elements the FSM never mastered were wind and water. Wind being sky aka Cloud Kingdom and being very tied into destiny (cough cough Morro who literally rewrote destiny and Euphrasia who is a destiny writer cough cough), and water being sea aka Ninjago. Yeah, Wojira basically controlled both, but she's a serpent that has dragonlike wings.

My conclusion? Cloud Kingdom and Ninjago are sister realms, because I've found evidence that supports my theory and none that disproves it.

OKhere are my thoughts: We know from the Vi vs Sevika fight that Hextech, being part magic, can react beyond the user´s will, and we know that Hextech can learn (remember how the Atlas gauntlets activated the shield after Vi´s memory of Vander telling her "your guard needs work", and she looked surprised, she didn´t even knew it could do that, and i´d go as far as to say neither Viktor or Jayce added that)

We also know that Viktor has a shield ability in his q, and it´s called Siphon Power, and it needs to hit an enemy to power his own shield.

So maybe his hexcore augmented parts will react with the hextech in Jinx´s rocket to shield both him and Jayce and maybe Mel too?

Oooooooo I didn’t even think of that! And it’s a nice little sneaky nod to his abilities in League, too!! And it’s also sort of already been implemented, the way the Hexcore has to take something back in order to give… it can’t shield him unless it hits an enemy first, takes their energy and transforms it.

But obviously in that situation, there is no physical enemy, at least not one that’s a person. The threat is the bomb/explosion, sooo… yeah, it might react to the Hextech explosion itself!

AND if he is able to project it, it would make sense that it could possibly save Jayce and Mel, as they’re physically closest to him

I like this theoryyyyy, especially the unspoken implication that, even when faced with death, Viktor protects others. Maybe he’s not conscious of it, maybe it’s just the Hexcore reacting to his subconscious… but it’s still there. He wants to protect. And he wants to protect Jayce.

I have no idea how well this idea holds up but-

I might have a hopeful theory about Ranboo.

I was just thinking about how weird it is that Showfall made missing posters for Ranboo just in case he escaped.

I mean, their company is definitely big/vast and probably has sleeper agents as police officers and teachers in this universe's society. But it still is strange they made missing posters instead of just having said sleeper agents go looking for him.

And on top of that, It just feels Ironic! Because when they do talk about the posters, Hetch says they made them because Ranboo is special and that they don't want to lose him, but ater they kill him off without hesitation! (Evidence for clone theory-)

It just makes no sense!

But then when I was thinking about it more... I realized how actually hopeful those missing posters are.

Here's the evidence:

Ranboo, throughout the entire show, was slowly escaping the mind control (NPC mode). You can see it with him doing "SOS" and when his mask flashes and he remembers something.

We also know that he has probably been on show before because of Ranboo's quote at the start of episode 1 when the urn got destroyed. With the "I wasn't supposed to be like-" and then cutting himself off. (More evidence for my clone theoryyyyy!!! Mwahahaha!!)

But what really stuck out to me, was the fact he was the only character to have a giant mask on his face to help with the mind control. While everyone else only had either ear pieces or nothing at all. The only people that do have the big masks are the employees, and even then he is the only one getting out of his mind control while they are stuck. Giving the sense he is more powerful then all of them think.

Now I have no idea if they made any missing posters for anyone else, but if we believe that they only made wanted posters for Ranboo!!!

Then that means with this evidence, there is a high chance that Ranboo probably escaped before! Like I said, this is not his first time on show and it seemed like he needed heavier mind control to keep him under unlike the others.

Now, bear in mind I have no idea how far he did escape. Or what counts as escaped for them. It could of been he got all the way out of the facility and back into society, making it so they had to make missing posters, or he could of escaped mind control and that was enough of a threat to them that they decided they needed a back up plan.

Either or, he escaped far enough, that the company saw it as an issue, an issue they probably knew they could not fix and would need backup plans for when he escaped again!

Not if, when.

And if that's not hope in this show I don't know what is.
