My eclipse day has been…. Eventful.
First off, here are some pics I took!!! It was a little cloudy but i still was able to snag a few and see some crazy stuff happen, like people shooting off fireworks when it got dark (plus a dog, enjoy my dog he went swimming during the eclipse. Truly a madman)
Then, i had to hurry on over to work my shift for the night where all HELL broke loose.
It started off as normal a shift as anything, though I was a bit on edge cause I was working with the owner and hes quite the prickly old wolf that kind of intimidates me, but hes a nice guy really.
Now, I work at a pizza place in a decent part of town that gives REALLY good tips because of how wealthy a lot of our regulars are, but I dont expect tonight to get too busy.
My first warning sign should have been the first call of the night I took of some guy drunk off his ass demanding a delivery in 5 minutes to “the park” without specifying ANY address and straight up getting mad at me that i didnt know where he was talking about, but whatever i guess.
Then were the dishes pilled sky high already in the dishroom at the behinning of my shift and the young drake I work with NEVER does them, my second warning sign.
Out of nowhere, we start picking up like CRAZY! Its double delivery after double delivery just constant in and out until around 7:50 pm, we see the looming roll of thunderclouds on the horizon and they dont look good.
Now, anyone who has lived in tornado alley would be able to tell that these clouds making the sky THIS color and THIS dark was gonna be some powerfull ass shit, so i get back from my delivery with a shake to my head and a warning to my boss that the clouds dont look good. They nod in agreement of course and say “just take this last two in one run and we’ll stop deliveries early for the night.” Which was wise.
I’ve been vibing to my audiobook all evening on my deliveries, and im getting through it faster than expected when suddenly, I get hit by the storm.
Violent, POUNDING rain slams my car as I arrive to the first delivery point. It is IMPOSSIBLE to see 5 feet in front of me from how dark the clouds got and my only respite was the flashes of purplish lighting that roared through the sky every 3 seconds, turning the clouds into one HELL of a lightshow. I stepped out of my car for the delivery and INSTANTLY got drenched head to toe, and when i got back in, i realized that with the howling winds and pounding rain it wasnt safe enough to drive, so i called my boss to tell him I was staying put as a heads up (luckily my job is very nice and prioritizes our safety over deliveries so they agreed on my decision to wait out the storm)
Eventually it subsides and i do my last delivery of the night and return to the store only to find out that at 8:45 we are closing early because we. As a PIZZA PLACE. Ran out of dough AND CHEESE.
Thats how busy we were, and we didnt even get to go home until 10:30 because of the MOUNTAIN of dishes that was waiting for us at the end.
At least i got 62$ in tips

Did you know you can make sims look in a specific direction whilst they're posed?
Hit shift+tab to enter first person mode
Aim the camera where you want your sim to look (make sure your game isn't paused otherwise the sim won't move - you can press 1 in first person mode to set time running)
Hit pause (by pressing P)
Hit shift+tab again to exit first person mode
Voila! Your sim is now looking in the direction you pointed 'em!
A neat little cheat to get multiple uses from the same pose! 🤸♀️

When a true baby ghost is born— a ghost not born of dying, but rather through the desire of another ghost— they are little more than a core with wispy ectoplasm emanating from them for about a month. During said month, they take on influence from their surroundings in order to figure out the form they’ll take, hence why so many young ghosts look like their parents.
Because they aren’t fully formed until a month after their birth, the parent or parents will take on a far more aggressive, primal form in order to protect their child. The parent’s form will become incredibly monstrous, and their size will increase, with triple their normal size being most common among parents. Their mental state also becomes incredibly instinctual, higher intelligence temporarily being replaced by aggression towards anyone the ghost doesn’t consider family. They stay in this state until the baby is fully formed.
Of course, Danny “don’t worry about it” Phantom forgets to add this bit of trivia to his explanation to his fellow heroes as to why he was taking paternity leave. In his defense, he didn’t expect them to visit during that month.
And he definitely didn’t expect his brooding brain to latch onto most everyone who visited as “part of his brood.”

hey some very smart people (my babes @captainrayzizuniverse and @goldcrumble) have cracked a 28 Clothing pattern check this out:
Drop 1 and Drop 2 came out August and November last year and were both Collection 01 (labeled on the clothing tags); Drop 3 (this July) is Collection 02...
...which suggests a possible pattern of one collection consisting of two drops close together late in the year per year, which feels consistent with teasing items from the next drop in the promo for this recent one; so we would see Drop 4- the second half of Collection 02- in October or November, and then another long wait until the second half of next year for more?

my bet for adar's ultimate fate is that sauron will gradually manipulate the orcs into shifting their loyalty over to him, and turning on adar and killing him in a big ol mob just like adar tried to make them do to sauron. that would be pain and tragedy of the highest order, and i don't think sauron would settle for anything less for the demise of the person he seems to hate most in the world. you bet your ass sauron would want to take away the one thing adar has left (the orcs) and make sure he knows his greatest fear is coming true (sauron using the orcs as cannon fodder in his ambitions) before killing him.
