Okay… I feel like people need to know that the most important person to write for is… well… you! I read these questions and comments and it makes me feel so sad that everyone is so sensitive. I don’t want to make anyone feel bad… But, as a writer, if I write crap- its my crap. If I post it, I’ll stand by it- or I’ll edit it. Whatever. If I post something good and I get comments and kudos, awesome- I am not going to question it. I’m definitely not the best writer in the world, but, I enjoy it, and I usually love what I write. They’re my babies- and I’m not going to let anyone make me feel bad about my babies. So I hope other writers know that if they love what they are doing, that is enough- you have acheived something and made one person happy. And that is phenomenal! Congrats!

          /While I’m on a roll with getting all of my thoughts out in the open, one plot idea that I’ve had in mind for a long time basically boils down to what happens in this scene from The Green Book. I.e., Luna would be introducing Anton to someone new as both her adopted son AND an accomplished pianist. Said someone would probably laugh and guffaw in disbelief thinking that there was no way this spindly little kid really had the skill or the stones to play professionally. Ideally, there would already be a piano somewhere close by and said someone would tell him to go show them if he’s so great.

          Of course, with a little bolstering from Luna, Anton rises to the challenge and takes a seat on the bench, gradually starting with the first string of notes while building the suspense: and then he just blows everyone out of the water with the crescendo and flawlessly plays the entire piece from beginning to end.
