DPx DC AU: Danny learns that he can change his summoning ritual and decides to go chaos mode with it i.e. A viral tiktok trend.

Danny ascends the throne and it's honestly pretty alright as far as new jobs go. He states a few opinions, makes sure no one goes to war and is slowly integrating a community service sentence to Walker's prison. It's not a bad gig, and considering the troves of gold he's now owner of, it doesn't pay too shabby either.

His main problem with the job isn't even his constituents (he likes to think they would vote for him over pariah), it's all these loony death cults! They keep summoning him with Pariah's old cold sign and it's driving him insane- After a very unhelpful smirk by CW, a long study session in GW's library and some help from Ember (she knows drama like no one else) Danny finally has a new summoning ritual.

Of course he swapped out the blood and bone for like, sour gummies and random shit he had in his backpack at the time. A TI-84. And yes, the Latin chant is that one super-fast bit of Rap God preformed to a BTS dance at speed.

But rather than keep this to himself, he gets Sam (who has a thriving plant and protest community following) to record her completing this ritual and Danny being summoned. Why? Cause it was a very specific to Sam skill that they didn't know if people could replicate and it gives Danny some plausible deniability that he tried to make it difficult when CW asks.

Posting it makes it very quickly go viral as people attempt to call it fraudulent but sure enough, Danny is now traveling the world at a moments notice.

Which is great cause it's summer and he's bored in Amity anyway (He's going to change it before he starts university in September, duh), and its even better because the second a lame ass death cult brings him forward to, like, destroy the planet, a slumber party or influencer has already summoned him away. Shit, he even met a few celebrities this way! Plus, turns out that most death cultists aren't able to rap!

Reality hit him pretty hard when he got summoned to an office space that is clearly a base of operations and the summoning spell locked him in. Literally, he has no idea how to get out of this binding spell- Danny definitely hadn't realized that was an option. Taking in the Justice League members in front of him, plus one trench coated menace, Danny groaned for a moment before thinking to ask:

"Wait- Which one of you was able to do Rap God? And the dance? Please tell me someone thought to film that!!"

We didn’t get a S4 announcement, but you know what the absolute best thing about today’s C2E2 Hannibal panel truly was? 

For almost the first time since the show ended, Fannibals showed how profitable Hannibal can still be. 

C2E2 sold out of their remaining VIP ticket packages with guaranteed panel seating within 48 hours of the reunion announcement. Paid PopVerse subscriptions to stream the panel spiked with previously untapped demos (if socials are anything to go by). The largest event hall at C2E2 was overcapacity 45 minutes before the panel; while that’s normal for cons like SDCC and NYCC, in my experience that’s less common at C2E2.

Not to mention Mads and Hugh making bank with autograph and photo-op sales; a huge component of drawing in good talent to table at cons as well, making sure they make enough over the weekend to justify their presence beyond panel appearances. From a talent booking/event management perspective, this is the absolute dream scenario.

So, here’s the super fun part: ReedPop, the company that owns C2E2, also owns/operates New York Comic Con (NYCC), one of the highest-profile US entertainment conventions after San Diego Comic-Con. Now that ReedPop is aware of the viability of Hannibal programming, it would be extremely surprising if RP didn’t attempt a run at a larger, proper reunion panel at NYCC.

Honestly, great job, team. 2024 could very well be the year we get real buzz going again!

there was a poll about the main four in a normal setting and everyone was bodying till so hard 😭😭. Like absolutely no one voted for him as the most popular one in their group, he had the worst grades, the worst wardrobe, he was the most teased member... bro cant ever catch a break fr lmaooo

General ed grades are a mess, his physical state is terrible, mental state is even worse, living conditions absolutely abysmal, he can't make friends and the few he did manage have all left him. Most unphotogenic human alive. Started a fight with a kid smaller than him and got his ass beat. Teased and humiliated relentlessly in the official arts. Constantly sleep deprived. Early Sunday morning, you stood in the corner of your shared bedroom in your favorite white robe, peeking behind the curtains to watch the sunrise.

You didn't know why exactly, but the beautiful golden glow of the rising sun was a million times stronger than any amount of coffee in the morning. The way the gold faded into so many different shades of yellow, to purple, to pink, to blue- it had to be your favorite thing.

Well, second favorite.

"What are you looking at, my love?" Your husband, Javi, asked from behind you, snaking one arm around your waist as the other pulled back the curtain a little further, wanting to see what you were looking at.

"Just watching the sunrise." You said with a hum, leaning back into his warm, naked chest. "Isn't it just gorgeous?"

"Yes,'' Javi pressed his lips to your neck, fully engulfing you in his arms. "But I know someone that makes a silly sunrise pale in comparison."

You rolled your eyes, letting out a quiet giggle as a bright shade of pink dusted your cheeks. "I bet it's Beyoncé."

Javi chuckled against your shoulder, his hair tickling your neck as he shook his head. "No, it is you, my love."

You shifted around in his arms, leaning up to press a gentle kiss to his lips. You grinned when you could still taste a hint of the strawberry lip balm you applied to his lips the night before, remembering the look of shock he had when you mentioned he had chapped lips.

You giggled at the memory, your heart swelling at the thought of his soft, puppy-like eyes.

"What's so funny?" Javi whispered, his face just inches from your own.

"Nothing darling. You make me really happy; that's all."

Javi's smile turned into a wide grin, his chest swelling with his love for you. "You make me happy too! That's why I love you so much." He pressed a kiss to your forehead, pulling you into a tight hug.

A smirk spread across your lips as you also remembered the new trend that was going around on TikTok- the one where you don't say I love you back to your partner to see what they'd do..

So, you only responded with a simple hum, rubbing your face against his chest as you snuggled up against him.

Javi tapped his fingers against your arm, digging his chin into his chest so he could look at you. "My love? Did you hear me?"

"Hmm? What did you say?"

"Oh, I said that I love you!"

"Aww, thank you baby!" You said, holding your breath in an attempt to hold back your giggles.

"My love, are you not going to say it back?"

You finally looked up at him, only to be met by those big puppy dog eyes that always made you melt. "Aww, baby! I was just kidding!" You said in between laughs, finally breaking when you saw the confused look on his face. "Don't you remember the video I showed you last night? Where that girl didn't say it back to her boyfriend?"

You saw the exact moment he realized what you were talking about, watching as his brows unfurrowed and his lips twisted up into a grin. "That's so mean! Why would you do that?"

Another fit of giggles washed over you. "Because it's funny!" You wrapped your arms around his neck, standing up on your tip-toes to give him a gentle peck on his lips. "And because you already know that I love you too."

"There it is! I thought you'd never say it!" Javi said with a laugh, lifting you off of the ground and into his arms. "Maybe I'll do that trend where they throw their girlfriends into the pool, hm? Wouldn't that be funny?"

Your smile quickly dropped. "Babe- Do not."

Javi silently started walking towards the bedroom door, a huge smirk set on his face.

Yup, you were asking for it..

Trends come and go- that's how the internet works. So, when you saw other people calling their significant others by their real names, you just had to try it on Javi..

You walked downstairs in search of your husband, trying to hide your recording phone in a place he wouldn't see it. Once you hid it behind a vase of flowers, you cleared your throat. "Javi!" You called out, immediately covering your mouth so you didn't burst out laughing right then and there.

Not a moment later Javi rounded the corner, wearing a look of concern and what did I do? "Yes, my love?"

"Hi Javi!" You walked over and slung your arms around his neck, pressing a wet kiss to his cheek.

"Hi- Is everything okay?

"Yeah? Why do you ask?"

"No reason.. Just making sure.." He mumbled, trying to hide the deep frown on his face.

"Stop, no! I was just kidding baby!" You pulled him into a tight hug, running your fingers through his hair.

"Oh no- is this another one of your TikTok trends?"

"Yeah!" You said through your laughter, pulling away from him to retrieve your phone from its hiding place.

Every once in a while, Javi's brother came to visit. They would spend about two hours in his office- sometimes screaming at each other. But Javi always came back in a horrible mood. He was either silent, angry, or sometimes just plain sad.

This was one of those times.

You were laying on your bed scrolling through social media, waiting for their meeting to be over with already. It had only been an hour, but you and Javi had made plans for tonight, and his brother randomly popping in wasn't apart of said plans.

A half an hour later Javi stormed into the room, nearly slamming the door behind him. He walked over and sat on the edge of the bed behind you, letting go of a heavy sigh as he rubbed his hands over his face. "I'm sorry that took so long, my love. He was being very unreasonable this time around."

Javi never told you what the meetings were about. He said that it was a part of his life that he never wanted you to be a part of, simply because he couldn't run the risk of putting you in danger. And so, you never asked again, instead finding different ways to distract him.

You crawled over to him on your knees, wrapping your arms around him from behind. "I'm sorry your meeting was bad, baby. But if it makes you feel any better, I have a surprise for you."

Javi reached up to hold one of your hands, pressing a soft kiss to the back. "You know how much I love your surprises. Lay it on me."

You quickly grabbed your phone, moving over to sit on the bed beside him. "Okay, so, there's a trend going around on TikTok-"

"Another trend?" Javi asked with a groan, laying his head on your shoulder.

"This one is good! I promise. Anyways, so I looked up what the moon looked like on our birthday's, and look!" You showed him the TikTok you had created, watching as both of your moons slid together to make a full moon.

"Aww, we make a full moon! What does that mean?"

"It means we're soulmates!" You said with a smile, tossing your phone on the bed behind you.

Javi looked up at you with the biggest grin you'd ever seen. "Really?"

"Yeah! A lot of people think it's stupid, but I think it's sweet."

Javi shook his head. "No, it's not stupid, my love." He gently kissed your cheek, sighing when you wrapped your arm around him. "I think it was right; you are my soulmate."

"Well duh, I didn't need a giant, floating rock in the sky to tell me that."

Javi laughed at that, this time pressing a kiss to the top of your head. "I love you."

You leaned over and rubbed your nose against his, pressing your foreheads together. "I love you too."

can the kpop industry stop debuting minors??!! it was never interesting to be honest. the way they get robbed of their teenage and do these big entertainment companies don't understand how the scandals and harsh comments can take a toll on a child's brain?? and the hate is now so common. and people will find this unsettling but the idol standard has gone way down. they just make song for clout nowadays with poor co-ordination, bad vocals due to hard choreo and not to mention not enough rest and training for the idols.
