here’s a little teen!chesters preseries mood board I put together ((inspired by my good friends on discord & their mood board discussions ! ))

Teen!chesters + John and Mary before their deaths :3c

Sam and Dean have more scarring before the show more due to lack of medical professionalism, and by adulthood (and resurrections) any previous permanent marks were erased. Regular healing does not do the same amount of leg work as bringing back to life, so during and post canon scars, injuries, or aging is part of them until they die! Which is why they are clean slates after full resurrection but generally Sam and Dean will have some type of injury that doesn’t get healed by god juice and goes the slow route which can be imperfect but is swag and cool.

Mary had a similar flame pattern to Dean, being a vessel of Lucifer, and also burning to death on a ceiling, and also because she is a Campbell and the line of hunters have that distinct flame I make the rules.

Dean has a saddle patch (vessel marking) like John as he is The Michael Sword, the flames and coat colors he inherited from Mary because its rad as hell

I do have designs for the Campbells (Marys parents) and the Winchesters (Johns parents) so stay tuned

Sam and Dean have both broken their noses a handful of times, so has John, Mary is better at dodging face punches for some reason (or better at setting her nose back who is to say)

They are both kinda scruffy at that age y’know?

Sam got his cutie mark when he was around 8 years old, which is the average for most. But Dean is a late bloomer and doesn’t get his mark until his stay at Sonny’s (right before John picks him up. ouch.)

Sam has a coat and markings like his dad but his saddle patch (vessel marking) is the same shape as Marys as he is The Lucifer vessel

John has been in Horse War (???) most of his injuries were from hunts. His mark is because he is a fantastic marksman and also guns are cool! He hoped Dean would have a mark like his since he was clearly talented with a gun but thats not quite what happened lmao

I WAS initially going to ask how Freyja would react being in the role of the introverted comic reader girl being whisked into her current comic and being bemusedly charmed by whoever was her comic book hero........

But

The idea of Chester aimlessly skimming through his Rodger’s comic (seriously? Who brings that to a tea/coffee shop instead of a nice book) out of sheer boredom while waiting for his younger brother to return from the restroom (Rodger got distracted on his way back), only to suddenly be whisked into the comic’s black and white paneled world + find himself face to face with or sprawled to the ground and looking up at Rodger’s favorite heroine (a biker-riding, leather-wearing, wrench-wielding, and overall 80’s anti-hero-flavored Freyja). The prim and proper suit and slacks-wearing Chester is all parts confused, most parts terrified, (and the remaining parts reluctantly smitten?).

Rodger is convinced that after he returned to his seat only to find his usually pristine and sophisticated brother askew by the cafe/tea shop’s waste bin, who then ran out the place clutching Rodger’s crumpled comic (BRO, that’s a vintage original copy!!) , and was found back at their shared apartment sobbing over the comic’s ending, that Chester had too much caffeine in his system + was clearly not sleeping enough…

Was too irresistible to NOT ask about 😅

ok but Take on Me is one of my fav music videos - like the blending of live action and animation? ✨👌🏼✨

I just had to try and replicate it ((to some degree anyway because i don’t have the patience for even semi-realism…))

And while Roger’s not used to being the sibling who’s got it together (in this moment anyway), he tries his best to comfort his sleep-deprived mess of an older brother.

The only other time I have drawn Total Drama characters are in the ancient texts of old sketchbooks and long lost files, who knew that I would draw Mike and Cameron after all these years?

Between kickboxer Mike, gymnast Svetlana and survivalist/explorer Manitoba (and Vito who uses the body to push people around) the body should probably have a little more muscle on them than the show depicts, even if it’s a lean string bean physique-

It's difficult to believe that 6 years ago today, we lost a legend. It'd be an understatement to say that Chester helped an entire generation of teens express themselves through his music and there's not a day that goes by that he is not sorely missed.
