Ardowin Ice Cream Shop AU
Lake and Jerry retired and opened a fun and successful novelty ice cream shop.
*A room of Ardowinians talking about their favorite Ice Cream Shop*
"Hey let's go to Lake and Jerry's!"
"Yeah! My favorite flavor is Molten Lava Lake"
"Cool, I like Lemon the Librarian."
"Ooo, I like the Fiasco Espresso!"
"The Johnny Goldfudge is great."
"I wish they would bring back Galentines Day strawberry flavor!"
"The Little KitKat is my go to."
"Nah, Sparrow's Sweet Revenge is better, more crunchy bits in it."
"I am partial to the Ice Cream on a Stick over a pint."
"Isn't that just a pretzel dipped in chocolate?"
"Yeah, and what about it?"
"B3 is sooo good with the Brownie, Brittle, and Bourbon."
"I love the Bane Train: Chunky Chunky, am I right?"
"no one likes you."
*that guy who said "chunky chunky" leaves out of embarrassment*
"Everyone knows The Cherry Bronco Rescue Cream tastes way better"
"Wendy's Horse Tracks is more my speed."
"I'm really happy they figured out how to make grape flavor because The Mother Treat Grape Tenders heals my soul."
"So sad they discontinued Arin's Nine Lives..."
"Yeah they replaced it with The Gildhart's Nougat-tech."
"What was in Arin's Nine Lives again?"
"Gummy fish, chocolate coins, black licorice, banana ice cream, vanilla ice cream, rainbow sprinkles, mint leaves, graham crackers, and peanut butter fudge."
"Yikes."
"They actually didn't discontinue it, they just renamed it The Nine Layers of Hell."
"Sounds about right."
"Poor Arin, I hear those were his favorite flavors."
"Ok, but can we talk about BFB: Banana Fudge Brownie."
"What is that a reference to again, and why is it hot pink?"
"Best Friend Bug, that little gay thing that hangs around Lake."
"Oh yeah!"
*Best Friend Bug peers around the corner to floss and/or hit the gritty."
"Hey! We love you BFB!!!!"
*British accent* "My friends call me William."
"Back to ice cream. A-la-mode-ious Apple Pie is kind of fire tbh."
"In terms of niche references, Delicious Awesome Pastry is baller."
If we are going niche Ish’Kraash: Not So Vanilla, man I could fuck that shit up!"
"The Bedlam Revelers Line is so good, Cherry Pit was my favorite."
"I wish they released the Elo-Quince flavor."
"I'm sad it got killed in production."
"I really love the SAGE of Ardowin flavor it's kind of like the god of all ice cream to be so real."
"Man, I could talk about ice cream all day. I am so glad The Chain Breakers saved the worl-- *gets hit by train*

how is fiasco feeling after the johniasco *fiasco*?
Haha, very funny.
Fiasco feels awful. Johnny is Fiasco’s best friend and he does have feelings for him. Fiasco feels like he’s ruined his relationship with Johnny because he turned him down but isn’t really sure what he could’ve done in that situation. Johnny is Fiasco’s third crush, like, ever, and he still doesn’t know how to approach romance in an adult way.
I think he definitely needs some guidance from the elder gays, but honestly, fiasco is kind of insecure about his sexuality and isn’t really great at talking about it with others, if that isn’t obvious already.

Alec: Alright, let’s say you are in trouble and you’re in desperate need of help. What do you do?
Clary: Ask Magnus for help.
Alec, eyebrow twitching: Magnus is not there.
Clary: Where is he?
Alec, impatiently: It’s not important where he is. He’s gone. He left the country.
Clary: He left the country? Why? Is he okay?
Alec, exasperated: He’s fine!
Clary: Well, if he’s fine, I don’t see why he can’t help me.

I have seen you talking about Dick & Dami's relationship and Dick & Tim as well, but what are your takes on Dick and Jason actually?
Like how you wish their relationship should be portrayed today and where are them missing when it comes to making those two acting like siblings?
Do you think in the past their dynamic was better?
How Dick views Jason and how Jason views Dick?
This is difficult to answer because there are like 8 different stages to Dick and Jason's relationship with various dynamics. They also view each other a bit differently depending on which stage we're talking about.
The way I would like their relationship to be portrayed today isn’t necessarily possible thanks to Jason’s integration into the family and acceptance of the no killing moral code. For me, their ideal dynamic is portrayed in Outsiders #44-46. And I know people are gonna find that regressive as hell but, tbh, that dynamic is far more interesting than the kinda awkward thing they have going on now.
Although, I don't mind that they acknowledge their brotherhood in a serious manner now. Like before they'd kinda be like, "Eh... I mean... we were adopted from the same guy but... brothers? Eh..." And now they're more firmly in the, "We're brothers," camp. So that development is interesting.
Character progression wise, it wouldn't feel right for for them to be super close in the way that, say, Dick and Tim are (unless we saw a lot of trust and relationship building between them), but at the same time, there is part of me that kind of wants them to have that older sibling bond (except Jason is closer in age to Tim than he is to Dick sooo actually let's just leave older sibling things to Dick and Cass... not that Cass is much older than Jason though so LOL this is why Dick has to lone the oldest sibling thing by himself... which is funny because Dick is technically no longer the oldest sibling, he's a baby brother now... except Dick and Melinda's relationship really hasn't progressed much sooo you could say they share blood but don't consider each other family yet, in which case, Dick is still the oldest... I mean, regardless, Dick is the oldest sibling of the Waynes... god why did they have to make all of this so difficult 😫).

realizing my last question might have made no sense (the back in black one) What I was trying to get at with the point about showing up late, did that effect the choices since Fiasco was by himself and couldn't bounce ideas off his party members?
I think fiasco frequently convinces himself that he’s totally alone in his own head (as opposed to other ardowin PCs of mine), and really does a lot of his decision making without the advice of the party. You may have noticed that fiasco will occasionally fully make a decision for the group and not really wait for an objection (for example, the decision to go to the archon library immediately after the gildhart raid, rather than going after Valentina, which conveniently worked out to be in the same place).
Because of the two days of isolation, fiasco made a lot of choices that he’ll have to deal with on his own (he believes, he’s wrong). In regards to Alithea, the choice not to immediately not give her sparrows letter was more of a decision for alithea’s health instead of actual strategy. Fiasco has no idea what the letter says, and by the last time sparrow was upfront and honest about what she is, he didn’t want to risk an emotional moment possibly being further detriment to alithea’s health.
