As you walk, though, you happen to come across something on the ground. Rolling over and tapping against your shoe with a clink, stopping by your feet.

Curiosity gets the better of you. You kneel down and take it into your hands, looking it over -- then opening it up. Before you, you see the following.

There will be food, drinks, and desserts provided free of charge. There is a cottagecore-esq theme to the event if you would wish to match the venue, however there is no strict dress code required. Gifts for the host are optional but appreciated for those who would like to bring one. " " Please reply to this message as soon as possible if you wish to attend this event. All are welcome to join the illustrious Moon on this joyous occasion! "

Three little stars - located near the bottom of the sheet - begin to glow once you've read everything over. A moment or so passes and they beam up what seems to be some sort of holographic-esq image.

I've actually been planning this little event for a while~ and it'a FINALLY HERE !! Some people on Discord have been waiting a good while for me to get it DONE too. HehHAH!! Based on something I asked @pixelchills several months ago.

They basically told me that Rozen Maiden was one of the main inspirations behind the Dolldrops and a few scenarios they imagined.

That got my imagination going, and this was the end result.

The background for Hinaichigo and Sun is from the anime, it’s Hina’s N-Field. I feel like Sun would freak out about the Maidens’ use of mirror portals at first.

Also, the teapot Moon is holding is one that I actually own. It used to belong my grandmother. I just think it’s unique and pretty.

📖 How to Talk to Girls at Parties by Neil Gaiman, Fábio Moon, and Gabriel Bá

The story in itself is a bit creepy, a bit mesmerizing, a bit dream-like. The art for this adaptation captures these feelings very well.

I liked how comic the characters looked, but how the “tourists” looked just slightly inhuman compared to everyone else. I don’t know if it was intentional or just their artistic choice, but I enjoyed it.

Bright, warm colors accompany the unsettling story of two boys that find themselves at the wrong party 👀
