in all the stuff I’m seeing about the watcher drama there’s a lot of “we CANNOT AFFORD to pay the 6$” which I’m sure is definitely true for some people, but not all. I feel like a good portion of the backlash is coming from how sick everyone is of subscription services. Sure I could pay the 6$. But i don’t want to. I literally do not care about watcher or the shows they produce enough to do that, and I don’t think I’m alone in that. Maybe if the company put out more things that appealed to their audience I could see the subscription as a worthwhile thing, but honestly there are so many other channels out there that cover spooky stuff or history stuff or conspiracies that I would rather watch ON YOUTUBE instead of giving my card info to a production crew that only makes one show I put on in the background every once and a while. They seem to have overestimated how much loyalty fans have and the mask of a renegade dorky YouTube channel slipped to reveal a now profit-focused company and it’s very obvious that fans HATE IT. As is their right.

Update on the viewing …it’s not sounding good guys. 👎🏼 I feel totally deflated. I’ve been keeping an eye out for the last 1-2 years on houses to rent and this is the first time in a while that I actually got my hopes up. 😭

I filled in my application this morning and was feeling really good. Time kept ticking by with no answer from the agent. Called this evening to check potential viewing times and it looks like they’ve already had interest… someone is having their 2nd viewing tonight 😔

The property only went online yesterday…I can’t believe it already may be too late.

Really sucks. Feeling super overwhelmed and need a good cry 😢

So. All my projects what going on hiatus. It pains me so much to say this. The authors curse feels so very real in this moment. I'm frustrated, angry, sad and overall just generally upset. The day I finally started feeling myself again, feeling good and in a headspace where art felt possible again has become one of the hardest days in my life to date.

I love you all, and I can promise this isn't the end of my work, but my family is facing a crisis right now, and until I can figure out power, alternative housing, a financial solution or some combination of those I just won't have the ability to put my energy elsewhere.

The important thing here is that my daughter, my pets, and myself are safe despite receiving a terrible scare. While the damage to our home and loss of power affects us quite a lot, we are alive, we are safe, and we are reaching for a solution.

I hope I can give you another chapter or picture very soon
