Roier’s pov for the code monster attack was crazy. The noise from the ghosts came as he and Jaiden were looking for Bobby, but he was lagging so badly that when he first opened the doors outside of Quackity’s house the world was frozen. There was no sound. He looks down and sees Quackity frozen next to a ghost. Suddenly he’s back behind the doors of Quackity’s house, opening them again, but this time there is a death message that Quackity had been slain by the ghost, Jaiden is asking him if he’s seeing all the mobs around, and the eggs are fighting ghosts with Bad. It was very cinematic on accident.
All made with adobe photoshop 2023 (you can find free downloads of cracked versions on here occasionally, photopea.com is also good I've heard) I'm assuming basic knowledge of photoshop/similar editing platforms and their tools, but you can always message me or comment if you are confused about anything!
Also, I used keyboard shortcuts sometimes to change the size of a brush or toggle the brush options, I'm not going to annotate this because it's a lot but here is a resource for basic photoshop keyboard shortcuts
Firstly, the sizing of your edit matters! Max sizing for best quality on Tumblr is 1280 x 1920. If you want to put to put two images next to each other sizing should be 640 x 960.
Next, always try to find the highest quality picture of whatever you're using. Good resources include taylorpictures.net, 4k Taylor Swift, and if I can't find them here I do a google image search of my photo to see if any other websites have a bigger/hq file.
This video is a couple clips I screen recorded for you to see my process and demonstrate a few different tools I use regularly. I added timestamps for you to follow along as you read the rest of this.
Here's a photo of my workspace I am working with and what I will do first is cut out Taylor from this photo and move her to my correctly sized canvas. There are multiple ways to cut out an image in photoshop, the easiest I've found is the select subject function and using the quick selection tool (see toolbar beneath the photo). Other tools include the magic wand tool, lasso tool, and quick selection tool which I will show later.
Now you will see that my selection isn't perfect, so I will use the quick selection tool to fix a few areas that I'd like to manually select/correct. This isn't totally necessary at this stage as you can always perfect your cutout in the next few steps, but it does help save some time.
This is where I'll use the quick selection tool to either subtract or add to my selection. There are keyboard shortcuts to toggle between + and - to make this quicker.
See my screen recording of the process from 0:00-1:07
Now that we have our image selected and cut out, I copy and paste it to my canvas I want to work with (size 1280 x 1920) and this is what I've got:
As you can see there's a few spots that need cleaning up in order to make our cutout perfect. You can do this with the eraser tool, magic wand, quick selection, or lasso tool.
See my screen recording of the process from: 1:08-3:50
Now that we're happy with our cutout, we can play around with it in any ways we want! Typically you're gonna do things like change the background color/texture, add elements with the square/circle tool to create what you're looking for, overlay elements and/or textures, and finally recolor it to your preferences.
This part is where you can try new techniques and play around to find what you like. I recorded some of my process of playing with different ideas and elements until I got to something I was happy with! The video explains the tools I was using as well
See my screen recording of the process from: 3:51 - the end
I hope this helps you with creating graphics in the future! The fun thing about photoshop is there are multiple ways to get what you want done. I showed you my way but there's plenty of other techniques and methods out there to try if you're unable to achieve what you want!
Best of luck and feel free to reach out to me if you are struggling/have questions! <3
Cuz I just really needed to see certain lines and events as Saskia's doubling really gets a work out here, as the narrators also play with their foreshadowing and narrative doubling, and I am desperate to know how it's going to resolve (I had to pace for awhile after finishing "Breach"). For everyone else, but especially Saskia, all things considered. I may know by the time this posts the morning ep 15 goes public, but I wouldn't be surprised if that question is left hanging for a few more weeks.
I'll put the transcriptions of the images' content under the cuts (since I cannot put the words into the columns), but they are 2 side by side document images, with timestamps taken from the videos on the main site, of episodes "Shindig" and "Breach", including their taglines and run times. Certain lines in each transcript are bolded.
Shindig Transcript
“Life is a cabaret, old chum.”
Episode length: 26:55
33 secs through 1:08: Narrator 3: That’s not to say that Saskia’s own inner torment and agony have dwindled. Indeed, if anything, she is at maximum rebellion, and is real, real hoppin’ mad, and sad, and betrayed.
Narrator 2: But she’s putting on a brave face, with her Midst face, and true to her word has said nothing to anyone about her new moon knowledge. Nobody needs to know that here tonight. Her other self… we don’t need to worry about her just yet. But putting on nice parties for her community has always made her feel better.
1:48 through 1:59: Narrator 2: (Saskia) “Let’s get this party started! Wait, oops…”
Narrator 1: She looks around for a second, wondering which one of her bodies that was.
Narrator 2: (Saskia) “Did I say that here or there? Shit. Well, works either way. Anyway…”
3:00: Narrator 3: We’re all back at the Black Candle Cabaret you guys! It’s so wholesome. It’s basically late afternoon and unlight streams in through the open door and windows.
3:30: Narrator 1: Everyone is back together again. Well, almost everyone.
4:17: (Narrator 1) And many, many others. All here, all alive, and together. Narrator 2: Goddamn, this town’s been through a lot.
(Emmet’s toasts, “Fuck Moc Weepe”, dancing begins)
12:43 through 12:51: Narrator 2: Within moments, the floor of the cabaret is absolutely on fire.
Narrator 3: With dancing, not with fire. That would be bad.
Narrator 2: That WOULD be bad.
14:33 through 15:00: Narrator 3: (Sherman) “I wish both of, uh, you, were home, too.”
Narrator 1: Tzila glances skyward at this comment. (Tzila) “Yeah, what are you doing up there right now, Saskia? Are you with Lark and Phineas? What’s going on?”
Narrator 2: (Saskia) “It’s, uh, well, if you don’t mind, I’d just rather focus on what’s here right now. Let’s pretend I’m not anywhere else, just for tonight. If anything important happens, I’ll fill you in later.”
16:47: Narrator 3: Saskia has that way of looking at everything all at once.
Narrator 2: Even moreso now.
17:38: Narrator 2: Saskia smiles at (Sherman). He sees her affection for it all, but he also sees a great deal of pain underneath all that.
18:53: Narrator 3: (Sherman) “Maybe we can all stay.”
Narrator 2: (Saskia) “Maybe we can.”
19:57 through 24:17: Town rounds through That Damn Moon Mining Song. 20:19 is Saskia’s verse, following Goe’s opening. She passes it to Ettie.
24:18 through 24:42: Narrator 3: As the town works their way through their verses, Saskia takes a moment to slip off on her own.
[The singing and party sounds recede into the background as the scene transitions outdoors. Cricket ambiance.]
Narrator 2: The party’s in full swing now. Her work is done.
Narrator 3: She’s an excellent host.
Narrator 2: She gratefully takes a seat on the stoop out front of the cabaret, takes her heels off. Emotions are very high.
Narrator 3: This has been a beautiful, difficult night.
24:48: Narrator 2: Stationary Hill glimmers in the desert night before her. A warm, fold-safe glow emanates from the cabaret behind.
25:09: Narrator 1: Sherman examines Saskia. She looks tired. He can scarcely imagine what it’s like to be here, but to still be up THERE at the same time. No wonder she’s exhausted.
Narrator 2: She’s been through a lot.
25:56 through 26:18 Narrator 2: Saskia, who had been a little lost in thought just now, returns to herself and looks clearly at Sherman.
Narrator 3: Really looks at him, a remarkable rarity, taking him in. She gives him a tiny smile and shakes her head.
Narrator 2: (Saskia) “It’s okay,” she says quietly. “You go on without me.”
Narrator 3: And he does, returning to his daughter, giving Saskia a moment alone.
43 seconds: (First mention of Saskia) Narrator 1: And a stunning blonde dreamy-eyed assistant who’s pushing a handcart of official-looking Trust-stamped Valor and Caenum sacks, one of each.
3:06: Narrator 1: Ms. Ledge and Saskia offer up the two bags for inspection.
8:39 through 9:32: Narrator 2: (Saskia) “Let’s get this party started!” Saskia says, a little too loud for comfort. “Wait, oops!”
Narrator 1: Hieronymous and Lark look at her sharply, and then scan for passersby.
Narrator 3: Nobody in the hallway right now.
Narrator 2: (Saskia) “Did I say that here or there?” Saskia looks alarmed, glancing around, wondering which of her bodies said that.
Narrator 1: Both, apparently.
Narrator 2: (Saskia) “Shit. Well, works either way. Anyway…”
Narrator 1: Loxlee leans in to Saskia. (Hieronymous) “Are you okay there? You gonna be a problem for yourself?”
Narrator 2: (Saskia) “Nope,” says Saskia. Her cheeks are a little bit red. “Momentary distraction. All good.”
Narrator 1: Hieronymous doesn’t seem entirely convinced, but he drops it, warily.
Narrator 2: The Breach team has all been briefed at this point on Saskia’s unique condition, but they are by no means used to it. She’s an oddity. Hopefully not a liability.
9:32 through 9:45: Narrator 1: The party proceeds apace.
Narrator 3: We meant this party of saboteurs, but technically yes, the dance party in Stationary Hill, many miles away down on the Mediun, is moving right along also.
(Party travels through the Vault and down even past the Arca, and S2 Ep 13 “Inside” tells us the elevator from the lobby to that level is a long ride.)
15:19: Narrator 2: In any case, no one moves a fucking muscle — other than Saskia, hastily shrinking herself into the background to hopefully avoid Imelda’s notice.
17:06: Narrator 3: Saskia has been attempting to lurk in the background, but nothing can evade the light of the Trust forever. Imelda’s brow furrows and her mild expression falters minutely as she begins to recognize a truly inconvenient number of them.
29:40: Narrator 3: Boom.
[A sizzling of muffled explosions, like firecrackers at a distance.]
Narrator 3: Fire flashes through the Caenum tubes.
Narrator 2: Half the room blows up. [A massive explosion.] The floor rips asunder, heaving and splitting, and everyone is thrown off their feet.
(Jonas turns, Weepe orders him and the breach party killed except for Lark, the Company prepares to fire, Gretel’s flying a ship below the hole)
40:38: Narrator 2: And Saskia Del Norma finally pulls herself up out of the rubble to stand at the end of the wheezing bank machine, next to the one hopper still full of unexploded Valor.
41:27: Narrator 2: The following happens in the next five seconds.
41:43: Narrator 2: The Breach all exchange a look, and Saskia, beside the remains of the bank machine, lays her hand on the routing lever for the other still-uncirculated funnel full of white Valor beads. They all see what she’s thinking.
42:21: Narrator 2: Saskia looks to her compatriots in Breach — really looks at them, a remarkable rarity, taking them in. Their eyes are going wide with realization. Saskia gives them a tiny smile and shakes her head. (Saskia) “It’s okay,” she says quietly. “You go on without me.”
42:56 through 43:19: Narrator 1: And the remaining Breach survivors and Jonas Spahr lean back, fall over the lip of the crevasse, and plummet into the void… as Saskia stays behind, locks eyes with Weepe, and gently routes the funnel of Valor beads to “Shred.”
[screen goes white]
Narrator 2: Boom.
Timestamps for Jaskier living his best bisexual life in Season 3
Put together for @bishkebab but really for anyone who wants to enjoy a bard-centric watch or rewatch.
I've tossed in brief descriptions of what happens in each scene while trying to avoid big spoilers (though reading what happens in a later episode could spoil you for previous ones). The * marks a scene important to his romance arc with Prince Radovid.
This is actually the time given on the right-hand side of the screen/completion bar showing the remaining minutes in the episode, because that was the easiest for me to get accurately on Netflix, so smaller numbers are closer to the end of each episode.
Episode 1: Shaerrawedd
32:52 - 28:22* Meeting one love interest while mid-argument with the other one. Rolls right into a short scene with Geralt, Yen, and Ciri.
19:42- 15:16 Fight scene, Jaskier gets a few reaction shots and is even helpful; the best parts for bard-lovers happen from 16:13 on.
10:09 - 8:38* Follow-up with Radovid + another character from the earlier meeting.
Episode 2: Unbound
(Scene starts right after title card) 54:33 - 53:20 Some muppety goodness with Geralt
50:10 - 44:35 There's some plot-relevant exposition here but also Jaskier making friends with a cat (and flirting with Liz Carr's character) and otherwise offering charming reaction shots - and then sadder/scared-er emotions from 45:30 on.
35:08 -33:40* Going to Radovid for a favor, he winds up agreeing to sing for him + a roomful of fans.
24:09 - 20:38* Sings "Extraordinary Things" and has an extremely subtext-laden conversation with Radovid.
14:56 - 13:21 (*) Not Jaskier, but some of Radovid's perspective on events, and this scene has him doing his best to fulfill the favor Jaskier asked.
Episode 3: Reunion
(From beginning of episode runtime) 1:01:32 - 58:08* The Most Important Scene. Bisexuality: confirmed. Tits: out. His girlfriend Vespula: amazing.
58:07 - 53:02 This runs right from the previous scene but is rather different in tone and amount of visible cleavage. Geralt calls on Jaskier to comfort a distressed child (brief reference to the deaths of preteen girls) while they bring her to a druid for help.
38:00 - 33:25 Getting on the same page with Geralt about the conversation with Radovid's people back in Episode 1, winds up giving Geralt an idea how to help the child. Things get more distressing and perilous as this scene continues but Jaskier is helpful again!
23:15 - 20:08 No onscreen Jaskier but Geralt wraps up the druid plotline, makes plans to keep the child safe with her, and announces his destination (and Jaskier's) for the next episode: Aretuza.
Episode 4: The Invitation
44:33-40:56 Meeting Geralt (and Ciri) at the coast. They want to take a ferry to Aretuza but the ferryman's scared of a sea monster. Luckily the passenger list includes a witcher and a half, plus Jaskier. Unfortunately it also includes Jaskier's mortal enemy.
37:29 -35:50 Geralt and Ciri are on monster watch while Jaskier's in a snark battle for his life. You can watch a bit past 35:50 if you want to see Geralt and Ciri continuing their father-daughter chat.
31:35 - 27:40 The monster finally attacks, ending Jaskier's misery. He's kind of helpful in the background of the fight scene, keeping other non-combatants safe.
21:52 -18:41 Reuniting with Yennefer. She gives Jaskier the job of babysitting Ciri and the two of them do some lip-reading with poetic license at Yen and Geralt's expense.
(runs from previous scene, new location) 18:40 - 13:13* Sweet babysitting shenanigans, singing "A Little Sacrifice," and suddenly - enter Radovid. Without spoilers, I'll say that chemistry read between Joey Batey and Hugh Skinner sure proved itself. Wow.
Episode 6: Everybody Has a Plan 'Til They Get Punched In the Face
45:50 - 44:13* The morning after.
Biphobia is alive and well and as proof, that's all we get of him in this episode, though his fellow members of the Rience Hate Club will enjoy the bits around 31:00 - 30:32.
Episode 7: Out of the Fire, Into the Frying Pan
(right after title card) 52:00 - 48:15* Looking for Ciri, Geralt, and Yen, Jaskier finds Radovid instead. As a bonus for the Jaskier-cut watchers, Radovid provides him with a summary of major plot developments from Episode 6. (Biphobia is alive and well and as proof the camera omits the hand-holding around 49:28. We all know it's happening! But still!)
Yennefer gets him further up to date (and hugs him!)
The bulk of this episode is Ciri-centric. At some point I can't find the timestamp for, she sings "A Little Sacrifice" for a cute Jaskier-and-his-Pocket-Princess-bonding-moment. In terms of Joey Batey's face being onscreen, he gets to flex his muscles at acting sad and scared from around 11:41 - 11:24 in a hallucinatory scene that reaffirms his and Ciri's love for each other in the cruelest possible way.
9:54 - end of episode. Jaskier wins his way past some distrusting dryads to see Geralt, in part by singing (in Elvish!) "Enchanted Flowers." He catches Geralt up on events that have happened during the Ciri-centric midpart of this episode; unfortunately it's all bad news. Hopefully their hand-holding is comforting, though.
The credits music for this episode is Freya Allen (Ciri's actress) singing a badass dark reprise of "A Little Sacrifice."
Episode 8: The Cost of Chaos
1:03:14 - 1:00:39 (until title card) Geralt's an understandably impatient patient, but at least he has Jaskier to hold his hand again and otherwise enable him.
48:44 - 46:26 Jaskier composes some songs while Geralt continues recovering. And pledges to compose more (plus an epic poem) if Geralt gets himself killed going out to find Ciri prematurely. (The scene continues between Geralt and another character until around 44:33)
(Around 38:30 Yennefer appears to supercharge Geralt's healing, which is a helpful plot event to know if watching the Jaskier Cut)
35:30 - 33:33* No Jaskier, but Radovid's side of the romance nears its conclusion (for this season). You can stop at 33:33 if you want a happy ending, or watch past that til the scene change if you're okay with blood and want to know the rest of what's going on. 28:16 - 26:52 wraps up Radovid's plotline (for this season! I'm holding out hope!)
24:55 - 21:02 Jaskier's composing the credits song for this episode when Dara (Ciri's elf friend from Season 1, who also shows up in Season 2) says hello. Then on to making a Witcher potion. Jaskier cheerleads Geralt through his training sequence, still composing.
13:04 - 7:21 Jaskier fails to dissuade Geralt from a final fight scene of the season (sorry, Jask, Geralt's in the right on this one, they had it coming), but again proves very helpful in a non-combatant way!
Credits music is Joey Batey singing "Ride Witcher Ride"
Let me know if you'd like a rundown for Season 2 as well (it's a less rich tapestry since there's less Jaskier and the bisexuality isn't canon yet, although there are moments it's hard to read heterosexually, and wow is it fun to realize nobody expects me to do that again!)
The first 7 minutes or so of the tie-in miniseries Blood Origin also have some great moments, including Jackier being audibly not not into it when a supernatural creature mimics his face (can't blame him, it's a sexy face, amd Joey Batey is excellent at being ominous) and also canon confirmation that he has good self-esteem, which I like in my bisexuals! (He's also there for like the final 2 minutes of Blood Origin's 4th and final episode if you're a completionist, and Joey Batey sings "Song of the Seven" over the end credits, which is the song Radovid references when he first meets Jaskier.)
Writing this for @virtueofthemind but making it its own post for anyone who's a fan of leofiat but doesn't want to have to watch season two of TharnType.
They first interact in ep 3. The context is that Fiat injured his knee and has been a total brat about it, taking out his temper on everyone around him. Type is his doctor, and gives off Dom energy, so Fiat starts to have a crush. Everyone in Fiat's life mentions Leo with hushed tones, saying that he's the only one who can control Fiat. The timestamps for their interactions in ep 3, from the version on Viki, are:
40:31-43:17
46:07-49:54<<<One of the most important and my favorite scene between them. Establishes their D/s dynamic
Episode 4
4:26-8:55
16:18-18:45 This one includes Type, it's worth watching to see how jealous Leo gets when meeting him
19:35-21:52
44:34-46:10
Episode 5
17:03-21:28
Episode 6
33:47-43:04
46:53-50:10
Episode 7
5:50-6:57
Episode 8
26:22-32:54
Episode 9-Context, Tharn and Type are fighting, Fiat and Type go to a bar to get a drink, Fiat starts to try sexually assaulting Type
3:45-7:42
11:22-16:12
44:25-45:26
Episode 10-Context, Fiat kisses Type without asking, Tharn sees and throws a huge fit, then afterwards while they're taking time apart, one of Type's friends tells him about Leo and how they're clearly more than friends even if they don't realize it.
19:04-20:50
Okay, so, after this is when the bullshit starts. Spoilers below
The scene is 20:56-23:15. This is how the bullshit starts. Type confronts Leo, says he knows how Leo feels, and that they should join forces to get Fiat to leave Type alone. What they do is very, very stupid.
Starting at 35:20, they have one of the friends, a Daddy Dom, start to emotionally seduce Fiat while Fiat is crying in a bar about Leo and Type. Then they kidnap Fiat, take him to Leo's home and tie him up, and Type terrorizes Fiat and threatens to break his knee if Fiat won't leave him alone while Leo watches. It lasts until 44:08. It's not fun to watch.
Then, at 46:30, Leo comes into the room and says it never would have happened if Fiat realized that Leo loved him. It's very stupid. There's a love confession, and apparently I'm still salty about this. It's not really necessary to watch it, I've given you what matters. It lasts until 51:33.
Now, here's the thing. There's an Episode 0 on the MeMindY Official YT channel that includes some, but not all of the scenes up until now. I don't recommend watching instead of watching their Tharntype scenes because they don't include important scenes and change the music in a way I think doesn't work as well. But in Episode 0 there's a part that doesn't happen in TTS2. It starts at 44:00 and goes to 46:42. Then they make out and it's censored which is hella frustrating. I'm having a hard time finding the uncensored version on a legal site, so I'm afraid you'll have to look for it yourself. Still, here's the yt version:
youtube
There's also a part from 48:28-53:40 that you can watch. The rest of it happens in DSN.
Now, back to TTS2
Episode 11
17:36-19:44
20:53-27:25 This part is Fiat apologizing to Tharn for what he did. It's a moving scene, but it does involve Tharn, if that bothers anyone
Episode 12
7:53-11:11
And that's their last scene together in TTS2! They have a tiny scene in the special episode that's just a commercial lol, so it's probably not worth finding.

Synopsis : In an alchemical transmutation gone wrong, Edward Elric lost his right arm and his left leg, and his brother Alphonse lost his entire body, ending up as nothing but a soul in an empty suit of armor.
Equipped with mechanical "automail" limbs, Edward becomes a State Alchemist of the military and starts a journey across the nation with his brother, trying to restore their bodies to their original shape by finding the so-called Philosopher's Stone, which is said to give an alchemist the ability to overlook the law of Equivalent Exchange.

Meta Series on "propaganda reblogs". This post is Section 2.
1) Introduction: why I am, for once, waving my candy-washing soap
2) Anatomy of a propaganda reblog, Part 1: the midnight timestamp
3) Anatomy of a propaganda reblog, Part 2: the ultrashort response
4) Beyond the propaganda: the significance (and tragedy) of events remembered by these posts
5) Conclusion: The Li Jiaqi Paradox
(Below the cut — Section 2: The Midnight Timestamp)
I'll start with the timestamps of these propaganda posts. I'm going to be a mean turtle for a bit, do some cleaning with my candy-washing soap.
Let's take a look at when Gg and Dd post on their personal blog usually, between June 1st, 2022 and today (August 2nd, 2022):
Local posting time, Gg, all non-political posts from 06/01/22 to 08/02/22
10:10, 10:10, 10:10, 19:50, 19:50, 10:01, 10:10, 10:13, 10:10, 22:00, 13:00, 10:10, 12:16
Local posting time, Dd, all non-political posts from 06/01/22 to 08/02/22
09:15, 10:00, 10:46, 09:00, 10:00, 10:10, 10:00, 19:10, 11:27, 10:00, 18:24, 16:51
These are working, "awake" hours: around 10 am is Gg and Dd's favourite time. But what about their reblogs of "propaganda posts"?
Local posting time of Gg's propaganda reblogs, shown in bold red, and a one-word summary of the event remembered by the propaganda post, in red. The difference between the reblog times on the image and my annotations is due to the 12-hour difference between China and my own time zone. Note that every timestamp was very close to midnight.
Local posting time of Dd's propaganda reblogs, shown in bold green, and the summary of the event remembered by the propaganda post, in green. The timestamps were also all very close to midnight.
The timestamps of Gg's and Dd's "propaganda reblogs" are all just past midnight, not the usual time they post things. Why?
Because these propaganda posts are often posted by CCTV (The Chinese State Broadcaster) at midnight — in the majority of cases, these posts celebrate, or commemorate, the anniversary of national events of importance, and so, CCTV (and sometimes, People's Daily, The Chinese State Newspaper) set the publishing time of the associated "propaganda posts" at 00:00, sharp.
Gg and Dd aren't the only stars who reblog the posts right away. As a random example, I chose Yang Yang 楊 洋 and checked the time of his reblogs:
Local posting time of Yang Yang's propaganda reblogs, shown in bold blue, and the summary of the event remembered by the propaganda post, in blue. The timestamps were also close to midnight. This may be a coincidence, but the last post, the one with 念 in the graphic, was reblogged relatively late — just like Dd's last post. Interestingly enough, the event 清明 was the least politically sensitive out of the bunch, with 清明 being one of the solar terms traditionally observed. While given a political significance by CCTV as a day to remember the fallen, 清明 has been a festival on which Chinese all over in the world — not just in mainland China — visit and clean the burial sites of their ancestors.
And so, here's my candy-washing soap (I'm sorry). While it is ordinarily 🤔🍭🤔🍭🤔🍭🤔 for Gg and Dd or their teams to post at similar times, it ... isn't as sweet at all for them to do propaganda reblogs at similar times. Because so many people do it; because the close-to-midnight timestamps are to show the reblogger, the star in this case, always has the dignity, the honour of their country in mind — their motherland's greatness, the tragedies and insults it has suffered even when they're supposed to be sleeping.
Propaganda posts are therefore far less showcases how any two of their rebloggers are loyal to each other, but showcases of how they're both loyal to the Chinese government.
(I know. I know. 😔)

🔎 ABOUT THIS PROJECT
===============================
Since 2020 we have been working with SeaForester to restore kelp forests in Portugal. These underwater forests are astonishing havens for marine life which also improve water quality and sequester carbon. Unfortunately, large areas of kelp have disappeared from the coast of Portugal but reverting this trend has been difficult. One of the challenges is that restoration efforts tend to require extensive diving which quickly becomes costly and time-consuming. A new technique called “green gravel” has been developed to address this challenge and make large scale marine reforestation possible. It involves growing kelp attached to pebbles in a lab before deploying them at suitable locations in the ocean. For this project, we are building a kelp nursery that will allow us to test this method on a larger scale.

Classical Music for Halloween - from Halidon Music
Idk if this is Halloween per se, as it’s more dark autumnal vibes than spoopy. Like most of their videos, it’s 2.5 hours long. (I often find 3-6 hour mixes, rarely anything around 1-hour or less.) Lots of very good tunes, including a lot of stuff I love.
There’s a few that bug me. Gershwin’s prelude andante whatever is too modern-jazzy to me. (I first heard it played on hammered dulcimer, and it sounds even worse to me there.) Tired of “A Night on Bald Mountain”, especially for Halloween mixes. It’s good, but it’s overplayed.
I liked seeing “Palladio” by Karl Jenkins, aka the diamond song. The opening track stole my heart, showing this would be a good mix of stuff that’s not over-played. It feels like a prime example of what I expect from a “dark academia” mix. Really, a lot of this stuff is “new” to me, or at least something I’ve only heard in recent years.
It only took about half an hour to realize I wanted to share this mix.

Content Warnings + Scare List:
Midnight Mass (2021)
Midnight Mass is a show that deals heavily with themes of religion (Catholicism/Christianity in particular), death, and alcohol (to a certain extent). The last two episodes in particular lean heavily into an apocalyptic scenario. Graphic gore and violence. Detailed animal death shown around 34 minutes into episode 2. Racism, specifically Islamophobia. Lots of scenes in church and regarding communion, as well as scenes in a sort of AA meeting. I won’t be pointing them out here due to their frequency.
Though I tried to be vague, some things are impossible to mention without spoiling various plot points. I highly recommend watching the show raw if it sounds like you'd be able to based on the above, but your experience will not be altered badly by checking the specific warnings.
I really loved this show, and I wanted those who may be wary of its contents to be able to enjoy it as well. Be safe and happy watching!
Scare timestamps and content warnings below the cut.
Opening scene is of a car crash induced by a drunk man, who speaks while intoxicated. The body of the victim is shown in detail.
12:30 - Teens are shown smoking weed. Alcohol is opened but no one is visibly intoxicated.

34:10 - The face of the car crash victim is shown in detail.
55:35 - Many dead cats are shown.
E2: Book II: Psalms
Opening scene - More detailed shots of the dead cats from before. Visibly wounded.
20:21 - The face of the car crash victim is shown in detail.
34:04 to 35:08 - Extremely detailed shots of a dog dying due to ingesting poison. The dog’s body remains in scene but not shown up close again.
53:20 - Someone notices blood spotting in their underwear.

23:22 - Someone faints abruptly.
42:41 - Someone is shown collapsing with convulsions, spitting up blood, and eventually dying onscreen.
55:34 - Someone is attacked by the creature. Their neck is shown, bloodied, and they are also pictured drinking blood from the creature’s wrist after the creature cuts itself open.
E4: Book IV: Lamentations
Opening scene - Someone's baby has disappeared. There is no blood or pain, but it is a sort of miscarriage nonetheless.
9:00 - Blistered skin is shown on someone’s hand/arm.
15:00 - Discussions of an abusive mother/husband.
22:00 - A metal cross is shown dug into someone’s palm.
22:24 - Someone cuts their palm onscreen.
41:29 - Someone is shoved and knocks their head on the corner of a table, causing them to bleed out. Someone is seen drinking this blood from the floor.
47:40 and 51:00 - The body from above is shown, as well as a lot more blood around the scene.
1:04:33 - The creature cuts its wrist open and bleeds into a container.
1:06:23 - Someone is attacked by the creature.
E5: Book V: Gospel
7:22 - Sudden outburst of rage from a male figure (yells + hits object).
23:55 - Someone’s neck is snapped back into place multiple times.
25:42 - Someone’s skin is burnt badly and blisters.

E6: Book VI: Acts of the Apostles
22:20 - An outburst of rage from a female figure (yells + shoves someone else).
49:27 - Someone is shown collapsing with convulsions, spitting up blood, and dying onscreen.
Starting around 54, multiple people are shown willingly drinking wine laced with poison. All of them collapse and die like the person above. Graphic spitting up of blood, convulsing, etc.
56:10 - Someone is shot in the forehead.
59:00 - As the poisoned people start to wake up again, they begin to attack the other people in a complete chaos of cannibalism and blood. There is a lot of screaming.
1:01:00 - Someone is shot in the chest.
1:02:06 - The body that was shot in the forehead is shown, as well as the carnage in the building. Everything is covered in blood and there are many bodies.
E7: Book VII: Revelation
The entirety of this episode carries out the themes of the previous. There are people being continuously attacked by others, many gunshots, cannibalism, and a very large fire. It leans into apocalypse territory. The scares are listed above but there is too much content for me to mark individually. Especially graphic points of note:
10:32 - Someone cuts their throat onscreen (chest-up shot). They are shown bleeding out.
44:10 - Someone is attacked by the creature. The creature feeding from this person is shown multiple times in detail.
59:08 - People are shown burning alive (minimal screaming, only from one person and out of fear not pain)

Fortunately, there are supplements available that can help promote joint health and reduce pain. In this video, we'll review the best supplements for joint health and discuss the benefits they offer. Why Joint Health is Important? Our joints are essential for movement and support, and they play a critical role in our overall wellbeing. As we age, our joints can start to wear down, leading to pain and discomfort. Joint pain can also be caused by injury or conditions like arthritis. Taking care of our joints is crucial to maintaining our mobility and quality of life. The Role of Supplements in Joint Health While a healthy diet and exercise can go a long way in promoting joint health, sometimes we need additional support. That's where supplements come in. Supplements can help reduce inflammation, support joint structure, and provide nutrients that are essential for joint health. Top Supplements for Joint Health Glucosamine Glucosamine is a natural substance found in cartilage. It helps support joint structure and repair, making it an excellent supplement for joint health. Studies have shown that glucosamine can help reduce joint pain and improve mobility. Chondroitin Chondroitin is another natural substance found in cartilage. It helps reduce inflammation and improve joint flexibility. Chondroitin has been shown to be effective in reducing joint pain and improving joint function. MSM MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is a naturally occurring compound that is found in many foods. It has anti-inflammatory properties and can help reduce joint pain and stiffness. MSM also supports collagen production, which is essential for healthy joints. Turmeric Turmeric is a spice that contains a compound called curcumin, which has anti-inflammatory properties. Studies have shown that turmeric can help reduce joint pain and improve joint function. Omega-3 Fatty Acids Omega-3 fatty acids are essential fats that are found in fish oil. They have anti-inflammatory properties and can help reduce joint pain and stiffness. Omega-3s also support heart health and brain function. Vitamin D Vitamin D is essential for bone health and can help reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Studies have shown that vitamin D can also help reduce joint pain and improve joint function. Conclusion In conclusion, taking care of our joint health is crucial to maintaining our mobility and quality of life. Supplements can provide additional support to promote joint health and reduce pain. The top supplements for joint health include glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, turmeric, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamin D. If you're struggling with joint pain, consider adding these supplements to your daily routine to help reduce pain and improve joint function. Remember, while supplements can provide additional support for joint health, they should never replace a healthy lifestyle.
