MHA BOYS W/ A DREAM BBQ ENA READER .
𖤐 synopsis: reader is like dream bbq ena [with the multiple personalities].
𖤐 pairings: izuku midoriya x reader, katsuki bakugou x reader, shoto todoroki x reader, tomura shigaraki x reader, dabi x reader
𖤐 notes: since i’ve been obsessed w/ dream bbq ena, i decided to do this!
KATSUKI BAKUGOU:
▸ at first, he's completely thrown off by your dual personality - when you're in enthusiastic salesperson mode, he thinks you're annoying as hell, but when you slip into your sassy "meanie" persona, he's actually impressed by your sharp tongue.
▸ eventually realizes that you're one of the few people who can match his energy and isn't intimidated by his explosive personality. you just switch to your sassy side and fire right back at him.
▸ absolutely loves when you're in your salesperson mode around others but immediately switch to your sassy side the moment you two are alone. makes him feel special that he gets to see a side of you that others don't.
▸ would never admit it, but he finds your random color shifts and personality switches fascinating. he's started to notice subtle patterns in when the switches happen.
▸ gets competitive when you're in salesperson mode trying to convince people of things. will absolutely try to one-up you, turning everything into a weird competition of who can be more convincing.
▸ the first time you called him "kacchan" in your enthusiastic voice, he nearly exploded from embarrassment, but now secretly loves it (though he'll never admit it).
▸ protective of you when others don't understand your sudden personality shifts. has definitely snapped at people who made comments about your "weird" behavior.
▸ when you're in your meanie mode and making sassy remarks, he sometimes can't help but laugh out loud. it's one of the few things that can genuinely make him break his angry facade.
▸ has definitely tried to provoke your sassy side on purpose just because he enjoys your quick-witted comebacks. finds it weirdly hot when you don't take his crap.
▸ sometimes when you're having an episode where you're rapidly switching between personalities, he'll sit quietly beside you, not saying much, just being there until you settle.
IZUKU MIDORIYA:
▸ immediately started taking notes about your color changes and personality shifts. has a whole section in his hero notebook dedicated to understanding your patterns.
▸ always concerned about your wellbeing during intense emotional moments when you're switching rapidly between personalities. will hold your hand through the transitions, assuring you that he's there.
▸ loves your enthusiastic salesperson side because it reminds him of all might's public persona - always positive and encouraging to others.
▸ when you're in your meanie mode, he's actually delighted to see this confident, sassy side of you. helps him be more assertive in his own life.
▸ would absolutely defend your unique traits to anyone who didn't understand. "that's just who they are, and it's what makes them special!"
▸ sometimes gets flustered when you switch to your sassy persona mid-conversation and start teasing him mercilessly about his hero worship or his blushing.
▸ has definitely tried to analyze the triggers for your personality switches so he can be better prepared to support you through them.
▸ finds your random facts and bizarre sales pitches endearing rather than strange. will sit and listen to you explain the most random things with genuine interest.
▸ when you're having a difficult day with your dual nature, he'll remind you of how your unique perspective has helped him see the world differently.
▸ has a collection of little gifts you've given him during your enthusiastic phases - random objects you've insisted would "change his life" that he keeps because they remind him of you.
SHOTO TODOROKI:
▸ initially thought your personality shifts mirrored his own internal struggle between his fire and ice sides. found an unexpected kinship with you.
▸ completely unfazed by your sudden personality changes. will just continue the conversation as if nothing happened, which you find incredibly comforting.
▸ appreciates your salesperson enthusiasm because it brings warmth and energy into his often too-serious life. you've taught him it's okay to get excited about things.
▸ when you're in your meanie mode, he actually appreciates your directness. no mind games or hidden meanings - just straightforward honesty, which he values.
▸ often sits in comfortable silence with you, just enjoying your presence regardless of which personality is dominant at the moment.
▸ the first time you switched to your enthusiastic mode around his father, endeavor was completely thrown off, which made shoto secretly smirk.
▸ has started to use your occasional "blue" moments to practice his warming quirk, gently heating up your hands or shoulders to bring you comfort.
▸ finds your random sales pitches and enthusiasm for bizarre things to be a refreshing change from his structured upbringing.
▸ sometimes when you're rapidly switching personalities and feeling overwhelmed, he'll make a small flame in his palm for you to focus on, helping you ground yourself.
▸ has definitely used your enthusiastic salesperson tactics to convince his friends to try new things - "i learned this technique from someone important to me."
TOMURA SHIGARAKI:
▸ initially thought your personality shifts were an act, but once he realized they were genuine, he became fascinated with how similar your fractured sense of self is to his own.
▸ perfectly content to let you ramble in your enthusiastic mode about whatever you're passionate about. it's one of the few things that can actually make him stop scratching his neck.
▸ when you're in your sassy "meanie" mode, he actually respects it because you're not afraid to stand your ground, even against him.
▸ finds a strange comfort in watching your color changes, especially when you're partially blue. something about it reminds him of his own physical differences.
▸ has definitely used your enthusiastic salesperson personality to his advantage when the league needs something. "go convince them we need it."
▸ sometimes when you're stuck in one personality for too long and feeling frustrated, he'll say something intentionally outrageous just to trigger a switch.
▸ weirdly protective of you when others don't understand your nature. has threatened people who mock your sudden switches.
▸ the only person who gets to call you weird is him - and even then, it's with a tone that suggests he thinks "weird" is a compliment.
▸ has moments where he's genuinely gentle with you during difficult transitions between personalities, showing a side of himself that even the league doesn't get to see.
▸ finds your unpredictability oddly comforting in his otherwise calculated world. you're the beautiful chaos in his methodical destruction.
DABI (TOYA TODOROKI):
▸ absolutely lives for your sassy "meanie" mode. the first time you unleashed your sharp tongue on him, he actually laughed out loud, which shocked everyone around.
▸ finds your enthusiastic salesperson side weirdly endearing, even though he'd never admit it. something about your pure enthusiasm for random things is refreshing in his dark world.
completely unfazed by your color changes. once remarked that "at least your color changes are prettier than mine" while gesturing to his purple patches.
▸ has a strange respect for how you navigate your dual nature, seeing parallels to his own journey between touya and dabi.
▸ will absolutely use your enthusiastic side to his advantage, especially when he needs information or access to places. "go work your magic, colorful one."
▸ sometimes when you're rapidly switching personalities and feeling overwhelmed, he'll distract you by asking about whatever random thing you were trying to "sell" earlier.
▸ has threatened people who try to take advantage of your enthusiastic, trusting side. "only i get to do that," (though he never actually would).
▸ oddly patient with your personality shifts. will just light a cigarette and wait for you to cycle through, then continue the conversation where you left off.
▸ the only time anyone has seen him genuinely smile is when you're in full salesperson mode, enthusiastically explaining something completely random that no one else cares about.
▸ when you're having a particularly difficult time balancing your personalities, he'll share a bit of his own struggles with identity, creating a rare moment of genuine connection between you two.

3AM RAMBLE ON FUGLY LINGERIE AND WHAT I THINK IT MEANS AS A WOMAN🝐

ཐི⋆☠︎︎⋆ཋྀ This tweet reminded me of an astrological observation I once seen, and it was about how certain transits, planet shifts, and aspects (forgive me I can’t remember—Jupiter in Cancer + Pluto in Aquarius mayhaps?) were pushing the rise of conservatism in today’s society. Examples on social media include tradwife content, uprise in religious devotion (i.e. personal identities being erased for spiritual beliefs), etc.
ཐི⋆☠︎︎⋆ཋྀ Lingerie’s largest complaint at the moment is that it’s bland, repetitive, and following a trend that’s overly popularized online—undergarments worn for pleasure and sexiness aren’t made with that same appeal. The current approach seems to be catered towards a younger, more innocent audience rather than seductive individuals as it was marketed.
PHOTOS TAKEN FROM VICTORIA’S SECRET HOMEPAGE

ཐི⋆☠︎︎⋆ཋྀ Majority of their products incorporate the colors pink and white, have an overload of floral pattern, or are made up of lace and ribbon which evokes the essence [and message] of tradwife core. The color white is starting to mimic bridal beauty in my opinion, half the pieces I came across reminded me of someone getting married. It’s ironic that Victoria’s Secret has a hand in this problem because once upon a time this was the store for the sexiest of the sexiest lingerie—I remember not ever being able to stand inside for too long as a kid, that’s how racy it used to be.
ཐི⋆☠︎︎⋆ཋྀ All this pink, frilly, girly and cutesie lingerie reminds me of the 1960s fembot—robotic housewives, objects of desire created for male protagonists on TV. Intelligent and self-efficient, yet their initial use was to pleasure men before attempting to murder them with that same seduction. Granted their attire and appeal are evident, but that’s also based upon the fact that they were “instructed” to wear clothing as such. All fembots wear the same dresses or bralettes, which boils down to their freedom as a whole (especially considering they’re in the form of women…).
“AUSTIN POWERS: INTERNATIONAL MAN OF MYSTERY” (1977)

ཐི⋆☠︎︎⋆ཋྀ Thanks to @rholsof-film, another perfect example of this connection would be the pinup girl aesthetic. Women’s sexuality was heavily repressed during the 1930s-1940s, more specifically during WWII, a time when women had little to no liberation over their day to day lives and choices. Pinup became popularized at this era because wives were depicted on posters in their home fashion: aprons, high heels, stockings, and red lipstick. Typically, they’re waiting on their husbands to return home from war and still needing to tend to their “duties”—independence was limited [and not a turn on] because women were known to be doting on their husbands satisfaction, essentially wearing what he wanted to see. Fulfilling a man’s needs was met before any other, which [and I quote] was, “an all American fantasy,” but with this aesthetic making a comeback in today’s society it’s an obvious recession indicator.

ཐི⋆☠︎︎⋆ཋྀ Now, there was an era of pinup where the taboo became socially acceptable or ‘out there’, hence the influence of Bettie Page, but even when out the norm (i.e. unconventional) it was a difference meant to feed men’s darker desires. I’ll even throw in the fact that Bettie retired and converted to Christianity, to which she believed that the Lord disapproved of the time she spent modeling.
ཐི⋆☠︎︎⋆ཋྀ This isn’t to discredit or insult the women who prefer this choice of lingerie, but the issue that’s apparent to me is that you’re not allowed to be wild and uninhibited, only prim and proper. Despite its intended use, any ounce of explicitness is shunned or judged; it’s like the fantasy is tainted by what people deem as “excessive” eroticism. In other words, we’re doomed.
ཐི⋆☠︎︎⋆ཋྀ Sabrina Carpenter’s public persona revolves around the world of pinup fashion, she’s actually the modern day poster girl, but we’ve seen the controversy around her provocativeness in this getup. Unnecessary as hell considering she’s a grown ass woman with a targeted audience, but of course the whole gist of this observation is that women can’t do anything lmao. The hate comments about how short she is and how sexual she’s allowed to be are linked to this too, but we’ll save that for another day…

ARTICLE SCREENSHOTS FROM MENSJOURNAL.COM

+ REDDIT BRAINROT

ཐི⋆☠︎︎⋆ཋྀ I won’t make this too long, however it was definitely worth pointing out because it’s a real state of mind that has potential to harm women as it did in the past. We’re allowed to be bold, vulgar, and risquè because it is OUR choice to be—promoting or urging a conservative lifestyle is a disadvantage to our freewill and inner selves. What’s trending or what’s popular raises concern when it’s undoubtedly affecting our rules, our choices, and [most importantly] our sexuality! Misogyny isn’t going anywhere unfortunately, but it’s a friendly reminder not to let it keep you in a box or stop you from feeling your best.
Please feel free to add onto this! I’d love to read additional takes and opinions other than mine.
#mini rant/psa lmfao#idk if this counts as being on to something or not but i’m spreading awareness my way#NEVER DIM YOUR POWER WOMEN#i’m a scorpio venus it’s literally my life’s purpose to be a vixen#they want us to be boring again like oh my God#⟶ 𝗢𝗕𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗦#𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗗ྀི#𝗕𝗜𝗧𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗖.

Repellent Personality Disorder / RPD
Repellent personality disorder is a cluster-b MUD characterized most notably by pathological attempts to push away the attention of others and chronic self-isolation. It presents a pervasive pattern of instability within interpersonal relationships and self-image, and a strong aversion to any form of positive attention, as well as a need for negative attention. These patterns begin in or by early adulthood.
In order to have RPD, you must fit the following diagnostic criteria.
Extreme distress or discomfort receiving positive attention.
Strong difficulty forming or maintaining friendships.
Often presents as a conscious aversion to others due to frustration or anger.
Shallow presented emotions, sometimes antithetical to one’s true feelings.
Blunt or rude speech, often with little regard shown for the feelings of others in reference to their words or actions.
Sometimes presents as excessive swearing or an aggressive affect.
Sometimes presents as flat tone and expression.
Near-complete isolation from personal relationships, with very few exceptions.
Deceitfulness, as indicated by repeated lying, use of aliases, or conning others for personal profit or pleasure.
Reckless disregard for personal safety and the safety of others.
Positive reactions to negative attention or a lack of attention, usually presented as vindication, excitement, or mirth.
Trouble regulating destructive emotions such as anger or frustration.
Sometimes presents as physical or verbal outbursts, such as arguments or fist-fights.
Sometimes presents as a strong disdain for the police, authority figures, family members, etc.
Unstable self-image.
Characterized by highs and lows, known as repellent highs and repellent lockdowns.
A repellent high will present similarly to NPD, where one feels they are above others and will make efforts to appear as such. Frequent repellent highs will set one firmly within the RPD-A subtype.
A repellent lockdown, while not particularly presenting similarly to any one other personality disorder, is characterized by extreme self-isolation, suicidal thoughts and actions, and pervasive need to destroy any interpersonal relationships one may have. Frequent repellent lockdowns will set one firmly within the RPD-B subtype.
There are two recognized subtypes of RPD. Both subtypes feature a presence in RPD, but which subtype one may fall under depends entirely upon the frequency of the respective presentations of self.
RPD-A, or Grandiose RPD
Characterized by an aversion to others due to feelings of superiority.
Presents often in speech as condescension, as well as the conscious use of bigger or rarer words to appear more intelligent.
Commonly seen when RPD is comorbid with NPD or ASPD.
RPD-B, or Victimized RPD
Characterized by an aversion to others due to feelings of inadequacy.
Presents often in speech as self-pitying language, self-degradation, and need for but rejection of comfort.
Commonly seen when RPD is comorbid with BPD or HPD.
Associated Features
Those with repellent personality disorder will often undermine themselves shortly before a goal is met or make things harder for themselves on purpose, such as dropping out of school a semester before graduation, breaking up with a romantic partner when it becomes clear that they are a good match, or getting into large arguments with family members a week before a reunion. Most individuals with repellent personality disorder have what is referred to as a false self. A false self is a purposely inflammatory, unintelligent, or otherwise unlikeable persona that one can put on to feed their requirement for negative attention. Many individuals with repellent personality disorder also have many social media accounts with the sole purpose of upsetting others. Individuals with this disorder may find comfort in transitional objects (such as a pet or inanimate possession) more than they do in interpersonal relationships. Individuals with repellent personality disorder also often have an anchor, a person who they allow to become close to them and do not attempt to push away with the same fervor as they do others.
Risk and Prognostic Factors
Environmental: Those who experience severe abuse in childhood, especially neglect, are more likely to develop this disorder. It also has high association with sexual abuse and sexual assault, and may on occasion form after a singular incident in childhood or young adulthood.
Genetic and Physiological: Repellent personality disorder is more prevalent in those who are first-degree biological relatives of someone with another cluster B personality disorder, especially antisocial personality disorder and narcissistic personality disorder. There is also a strong familial risk for substance abuse disorders, anxiety disorders, and histrionic personality disorder. Repellent personality disorder is more common among male-presenting individuals, but is not exclusive to male-presenting individuals.
Comorbidities
Those with repellent personality disorder often also have another personality disorder, and especially often another cluster B personality disorder. It is also common for those with this disorder to have anxiety disorders, hoarding problems (particularly of comfort items), and are often on the psychotic spectrum with stress-induced psychosis.

AVENTURINE TRAILER ANALYSIS - THE GOLDEN TOUCH
SPOILERS FOR 2.1 CONTENT & AVENTURINE’S TRAILER!
TW FOR VERY VAGUE SUICIDE MENTIONS.
Hey girlies, hold still. On another note, hello again! I will be going through visual analysis, symbolism, and talking about how this trailer ties multiple aspects of Aventurine’s character together. Some of the things covered here I will be covering in my full analysis of Aventurine himself, so feel free to give that a shot.
My disclaimer! Although I have been researching psychology personally for about six years, I am NOT a professional. (Yet. When I do, Tumblr Will Know.) Any conclusions I come to are because of my own deductions, personal interpretations, analysis, and logic. You are free to disagree with what I say!
I also do NOT know card numbers and symbols – what they mean and symbolize and all that jazz. Sorry guys. :(
Now, let’s get into it.
First of all, let’s fucking go, let this man ENJOY himself (well. A little. This trailer is not as happy silly as it seems, just like the character himself.) He gets to have a silly boogie woogie! Look at you go!! (He is not boogie woogie-ing.)
Second of all, time for game theories.
The first scene is really pretty. It’s a coin falling down, toppling against a few stray objects before we flash to the next panel, the ground, as it rolls to the feet of a young boy. Gently, he reaches down, before picking it up, and then, in true Aventurine fashion, proceeds to flip the coin in his hand. However, this gesture actually holds more meaning than I originally thought it did. The coin that Aventurine has seems to transcend his definition of ‘time’ – his inherent ‘value’, or his ‘roots’, never changing. It also shows his connection to his younger self – how he’s still holding onto that child, still connecting to that child, and showing that this child is still a part of him, even if it’s only his past self.
I believe that the coin that he always has flipping around actually represents Aventurine himself – it represents his ‘value’ as a gambling chip. In Aventurine’s eyes, interpersonal relationships are just like that – they are gambles, where people take advantage of one another and backstab each other. However, it also represents how little he seems to care for his own life – he tosses the coin around, does tricks with it, and is overly flamboyant – just like how he presents himself to the outside world. This single gambling chip is actually the presentation of how Aventurine sees himself and presents himself to everyone else, as well as encompasses his worldview – bet himself, going ‘all in’ with his own worth, or doing nothing. That worth has been with him his entire life – the worth of being a child blessed by a God from his home, being blessed with good fortune.
Also, sick ass transition. Love that shit.
Pay attention to the next scene – there’s a brief moment where it shows him walking through a hallway… through the lens of a camera. This could definitely be alluding to the idea of always being watched – I mean, he’s the last of his own race, of course there’s going to be eyes on him. People are going to be asking questions - how is he still alive? Why is he with the IPC? Can he be trusted, considering his race was known for scheming and plotting?
And then, he tosses open the door in a grand display – a grand display of his fake persona. He opens the room to a whole bunch of robots, who are all gambling, and they stare at him in surprise. That’s Aventurine – flamboyant, showy, confident. He holds a captive audience and all of the others move to the side as he strides towards the slots machine – and as predicted, due to his good luck, he gets three in a row. However, what I think is important to note is that he slides his coin into the machine – and remember what I said about the coin representing his worth? This is what I mean by he bets himself. He is just another gambling chip that he will use to achieve victory no matter what. He is another pawn on the table who has made his way this far, and it’s all or nothing – his whole worth, or not worth the gamble at all.
Also, at 0:42, we see a briefcase open up to reveal a gem – definitely a callback to the 2.1 trailblaze quest with his moment with Ratio. Damn, gay people.
Then, after that, he slides many chips towards the table – and interestingly enough, they’re all copies of his one singular chip. This, your honour, is what we call a ‘bluff’. Pretending to be more than you are in order to appear more confident so that your enemies will fear you. Pretty good strategy, honestly.
Also, cool editing with the machines falling into the Void of Cards. Maybe symbolism for how people fall into his persona easily and fall for his schemes?
Epic ahh pose, 0:54. Love that for you, my silly homosexual lad.
Also, him in the elevator going to the top at around 1:02? That means more than you think it does. Probably most likely a representation of how he had to crawl his way from the bottom to the top, and yet, now, it’s showing that he is at the top now. He takes an elevator instead of having to climb – he’s gotten higher, he’s gotten more status. His ‘all or nothing’ mentality pays off.
And then, he’s set into an arena. Representation of life, honestly. His whole life is a stage, a play, something to be watched. He’s here to put on a good show. He’s being watched, which is a callback to my note about the camera at the start.
Then, the horrors are set loose. He does his gambling stuff with the cup in his hand while he dodges the monsters. That’s him, alright – taking gambles in dangerous situations, relying on his luck, smiling through what should be terrifying.
“The wager will be life and death,” but oh, that’s your usual wager, Aventurine. We all know how you have self-destructive tendencies.
1:42. Hand behind his back. Oh lord, we all died. We all know what the hand behind his back means. We all know how much emotional damage that caused.
1:46. The dice cracks. Just like his cornerstone, eh? Just like his façade, right…? :)
And then, everything is drowned in gold coins. Yay!
And then, he’s standing on a ledge. Possibly a callback to how he said that he had “tested death” in the dreamscape. What better way to test it than jumping?
And then his enemies are drowning in coins. Probably a metaphor for his win against them.
And then, here is where things get interesting at the two minute mark. He tosses his coin down, again, like at the beginning of the trailer. Kakvasha flipped the coin up, trying to get higher, and then, Aventurine tosses the coin down, keeping his connection with his younger self. It falls down to the ground, and Kakavasha picks it up with awe in his eyes. He’s still keeping in mind his younger self, still keeping him with him, even to this day. Holding onto his past like a lifeline.
Aventurine’s trailer… while it does seem on the surface that you’re having fun, you’re really not, when everything is a show and a gamble, right?
Alright, thanks for reading, everyone! :)

No one really says it but j-hope is not that physically attractive to start with to complement his sex appeal. With jungkook it works because his fans are crazy for him and the bad boy persona, and then there is taehyung objectively handsome and no more than a pretty object in his photobook. Very superficial talk, I know. I also think what makes namjoon appealing is his intellectual aura.
yes both taehyung and jk managed to cultivate that persona one way or the other so them performing smth "sexy" will always be easily/better received than jhope.
I don't think it's all about being conventionally attractive or not(ofc its a plus), because jin is and still if he ever went the current jhope route i think it will feel just as forced, because he doesn't naturally have the sex appeal and it would need a transition from an image to another.

⁎˚ ఎ Ada little headcanons ໒ ˚⁎
May I please have regressor Ada headcanons please? <3
Sure thing! Ada, known for her strength and resilience, finds solace in age regression, allowing herself to unwind from the constant dangers and pressures of her espionage work !
•When Ada Wong is sick, she becomes unexpectedly vulnerable, seeking comfort and care. She'd likely retreat to a quiet place, preferring to handle it alone initially.
•Pet names, she might secretly enjoy something like "Darling" or "Sweetheart" when shared in moments of intimacy or vulnerability, though in public or during missions, she'd prefer to keep things professional.
•Her triggers might be associated with intense missions, memories of traumatic events, or overwhelming stress.
•When regressed, Ada might regress to a younger age, around 6-8 years old. In this state, she embodies a more innocent, curious, and playful demeanor.
•She finds joy in simple things, like exploring nature, playing games, or engaging in creative activities like drawing or crafting.
•Ada's safe space could be a secluded cabin in the woods or a cozy room filled with soft toys, art supplies, and comforting items.
•To cope with stress, she might use a stuffed animal as a transitional object or engage in sensory activities like playing with kinetic sand or listening to calming music.
•Ada's Care giver would likely involve a few trusted individuals who understand and respect her need for regression. Among them could be allies from her past missions
•She struggles to balance her intense work life with her need for emotional healing. Over time, she learns to integrate her younger self into her persona, finding strength in her vulnerability

A Matt Walsh video popped up on my feed discussing an HBO documentary about weirdo moms who transition their children while weak fathers stand aside observing. I checked the time stamp and was like, "Whoa....this was from three years ago, and these weirdo women out there have been destroying kids' lives ever since."
It's a good informative video showing the psychology behind the Munchausen by Proxy and Narcissism on display from middle class liberal women, and how their children kind of know it deep down but are helpless to do anything about it before their lives are inevitably ruined in a way that's mostly irreversible.
Here's a testimony from one of the children in the documentary who was self-aware about making a huge blunder:
Matt Walsh: All throughout the entire film he objects to all of his mother's schemes. At one point late in the film upon hearing that he'll be forced to attend yet another LGBT rally in DC, he says that his life is ruined voicing a level of exhaustion and weariness that no child should ever experience.
Let me play that scene for you now.
Mother: "We're going to Washington DC...."
Child: ".....And we're going to be moving to the white house for central area to throw a book in Donald Trump's face."
Mother: "No I don't think that we want to say that. No this one is saying time to thrive. It's for people who work with LGBTIQQ youth. We actually go and meet with our senators and some representatives. After we do that, we go and sit and sell some of Avery's books for a little while. Avery....manners...."
Child: "I just don't want to even have a book. I've done too much in this world. It's ruined my life enough and now everyone in this world is going to know if I sell my book. It's going to get on the news along with me for like the 50th time at this point and it's just gonna make my life worse. (Mother: A couple years ago you wanted people to know.) Yeah I did but now that was really stupid silly mistake and now i don't....."
Yeah, that's something. Let's go back now. Avery's father doesn't seem too invested in this female persona. Minus the long neon colored hair and the overcompensating rainbow outfits that his mother puts him in he comes across like a relatively normal young boy. Debbie noticing this with some level of alarm decides that Avery is just a quote "tomboy trans girl". Yes, that would be a boy who is a girl who acts like a boy.
As for Avery's father and his view of everything, it's never made entirely clear. Like the other fathers in the film, he's basically a useless lump of nothingness floating along with the tide while his wife psychologically and physically destroys his son in order to satisfy her own unquenchable narcissism. These men are literally watching their sons be turned into girls and that's one of the ingredients that is always present whenever a young boy is forced to sacrifice his masculinity in this way. They always have fathers who have already willingly sacrificed their own child. That is a necessary ingredient and that is one of the important lessons the film doesn't want to teach us but does anyway.

Unveiling the 5 Ps Framework: A Complete Guide to Digital Marketing Mastery
In the ever-expanding realm of digital marketing, the key to success lies in a well-crafted strategy. One such framework that has proven invaluable is the 5 Ps framework. Originating from traditional marketing principles, this framework seamlessly transitions into the digital age, offering marketers a systematic approach to crafting and executing effective marketing campaigns.
In this comprehensive guide, we'll delve into each of the 5 Ps – Product, Price, Place, Promotion, and People – and explore their application in the digital landscape.
1. Product: Understanding Your Offering
At the core of any marketing strategy is the product or service being offered. In digital marketing, comprehending your product goes beyond its features and specifications. It involves identifying its unique value proposition and how it addresses the needs and pain points of your target audience. Whether it's physical goods, digital services, or subscription-based offerings, a profound understanding of your product is essential for crafting compelling marketing messages and driving customer engagement.
2. Price: Determining the Right Value Proposition
Setting the appropriate price for your product or service is a delicate balance. In the digital era, consumers have access to a plethora of information and choices, making pricing decisions more critical than ever. Competitive pricing, value-based pricing, and dynamic pricing are just a few strategies digital marketers can utilize to capture market share and optimize profitability. By analyzing market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer preferences, marketers can identify the optimal price point that aligns with their business objectives and resonates with their target audience.
3. Place: Leveraging Digital Channels for Distribution
Gone are the days when "place" in marketing solely referred to physical locations. In today's digital landscape, "place" encompasses the multitude of online channels and platforms used for product distribution and sales. From e-commerce websites and mobile apps to social media platforms and online marketplaces, digital marketers have a wealth of options at their disposal. The key is to select the channels that effectively reach and engage your target audience. By leveraging digital channels strategically, marketers can expand their reach, enhance brand visibility, and drive sales in the fiercely competitive online marketplace.
4. Promotion: Crafting Compelling Marketing Messages
Promotion is the driving force behind awareness, interest, and conversions. In digital marketing, the promotional landscape is vast and diverse, encompassing content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, SEO, PPC advertising, influencer marketing, and more. The key is to develop cohesive and integrated promotional campaigns that resonate with your target audience across multiple touchpoints. By harnessing the power of storytelling, personalization, and data-driven insights, digital marketers can create compelling marketing messages that cut through the clutter and drive meaningful engagement with their brand.
5. People: Understanding Your Audience
At the heart of every successful marketing campaign lies a deep understanding of the target audience. In digital marketing, this entails creating detailed buyer personas that capture the demographics, psychographics, and online behavior of your ideal customers. By understanding their needs, preferences, pain points, and aspirations, marketers can tailor their messaging and offers to effectively address specific customer segments. Moreover, by leveraging data analytics and marketing automation tools, marketers can deliver personalized experiences that resonate with individual customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
In summary, the 5 Ps framework provides a holistic and structured approach to digital marketing strategy. By comprehending the interplay between Product, Price, Place, Promotion, and People, marketers can develop and execute effective marketing campaigns that drive results and achieve business objectives. In the dynamic and fast-paced world of digital marketing, mastering the 5 Ps is essential for staying competitive and driving growth in today's digital landscape.

Maybe it's tad early since you're still in the 5th game but whats your opinion with the new characters for the 2nd triology?
HMM. I'm going to assume you just mean the major ones and not the one-off victim/defendant types.
Honestly I think my overall impression so far (mid-AA5) is that they're varying degrees of interesting but underbaked. Some of this I expect to change as I finish 5 and 6, and some I expect... won't.
This got really long so here's a cut. Spoilers for AA4 and a bit of 5.
Trucy
I like Trucy a lot, probably my favourite of the lot, although in no small part because she's so tied to Phoenix, whom I am still more invested in than any of these other people lol. They hinted at Trucy having more complicated feelings under her very cheery, performative persona -- Phoenix comments he's the only one who knows how she "really" feels -- but it doesn't seem like we the player are ever going to get to know more about that, so :P.
It's weird that she's basically dropped into a cameo role in AA5 and been more-or-less replaced by Athena -- like -- objectively that's just a jarring transition. But for Trucy lmao I guess she's probably having a better time now, going to school and doing magic and not having to partake in case stuff anymore.
Klavier
I love Klavier, in that I am always having a good time when he's around, I find him hilarious. But as a character I think he's really underwritten. They haven't really spent any time giving him much in the way of motivation or depth or emotional response to any of the insane things that happen to him, he's just there to flirt and have a laugh. Like Trucy, he's pretty personally involved in all the events in AA4 but you'd never know it bc he very rarely reacts to them. I don't understand why the conclusion of 4 was that he quits music instead of law. He loves music. Aside from "horny", music is his entire personality. We aren't given a reason he's passionate about or interested in law nor does it seem to be tainted by Kristoph at all even though rationally it should be. So that's just... weird imo.
But I like him, he's prob my fave prosecutor after Franziska and Edgeworth. He's the kind of character I can see fandom having a lot of fun elaborating on. In AA5 he comes across like a depressed burnout, and I like that even though I think it was totally unintentional from Capcom lol. It's like when you see a celeb on tv and think "huh are they ok?" and then six months later you hear they've checked into rehab. Hang in there buddy.
Apollo
Apollo is very likable but so far has not much going on in the way of character. In AA4 I thought he felt more like Phoenix's courtroom avatar than a participant in the story, because even when he is personally implicated like with Kristoph or Thalassa, he either doesn't know or doesn't react. (Are you seeing a pattern...? lol) Unlike Trucy and Klavier, I believe Apollo will actually get more material in DD and SOJ, for better or worse, so we'll see how that changes things. I like him, but don't currently feel invested in him. If they had started DD with just Athena and Phoenix I'm not honestly sure I'd be upset about it. Sorry, Apollo.
Ema
Ema's not a "new" character although adult Ema feels pretty different to kid Ema, in a good way. Kid Ema was fun but forgettable to me -- adult Ema fucking rules lmao my favourite detective for sure, I wish we got to keep her. Cranky and competent and disillusioned. I loved her.
Kristoph
Kristoph was fun but overhyped by fandom imo. I liked him and his weird gay frienemyship with Phoenix, and in the pantheon of AA villains I see why he's pretty memorable, the 7 year gap is very rich material. But his motivations were silly and I anticipated so many better ones that didn't materialize at all lmao. I thought he was going to be some criminal mastermind building his defense empire on falsified evidence ... he just did it once and then panicked for 7 years?? Kristoph wants what Dahlia Hawthorne has.
Athena
Athena still feels like I've only just met her, so I don't have a solid opinion. I like her though. There are not enough women practicing law in this stupid franchise so I was predisoposed to like her, and I like her overzealous energy and stuff. I don't love mood matrix as a minigame, and I don't know what her tragic backstory is yet btu I know one exists, so the jury's out on that. I wish DD would just let me play her more often.
Blackquill
Blackquill is doing nothing for me lmao which, tbh, is what I expected. I find him tedious and his design is ludicrous to me I hate it lfhadhflkhfl he looks like he belongs in a different franchise. I know he's a fan fave and he's going to have some big sad backstory too, so maybe he'll win me over, but right now he's a big eye roll. I think his prison gimmick would at least be more fun if every time he cited his friends from jail they were easter eggs from previous culprits or something. Feels like a missed opportunity for gags.
Fulbright
Fulbright is... fine. Probably my least fave detective. He gets a laugh out of me once in a while. Maybe my opinion will improve as the game goes on since I fucking hated 5-2 and it's all I've really seen him in so far lol.
Misc
I think that's all the big characters I've met so far? For the one-offs, I liked Valant a lot he cracked me up. Zak was nasty and I'm not entirely sure if the game realized it or not. Thalassa continued the noble Ace Attorney tradition of hands-off motherhood. I don't have much to say about Junie as a character but I do love Athena's unfortunately-one-sided gay pining.

Every Record I Own - Day 815: Nomeansno Sex Mad
My first introduction to Nomeansno was hearing Sex Mad's "Dad" on a punk rock radio show on Oahu's Radio Free Hawaii station sometime around 1991 or 1992. The song's straightforward fury and harrowing depiction of domestic abuse carried the musical power and lyrical urgency that was like a drug to my young teenage mind. But I wouldn't actually hear the rest of Sex Mad until my college buddy dropped this LP on my doorstep a decade later.
The first two tracks off Sex Mad---the title track and the aforementioned "Dad"---sound like classic early North American hardcore. But that one-two-punch opening sequence was a Trojan Horse. By track three we have "Obsessed," a twisted and puzzling instrumental song that's like a punk version of Rush's "YYZ" (side note: I wouldn't actually hear Rush until sometime around 1997, and I distinctly remember thinking "this sounds like an arena rock version of Nomeansno"). Then there's the a cappella shout-fest "No Fgcnuik." These aren't exactly the kinds of departures that your average liberty-spiked punk wants to hear. Side one wraps up with "Love Thang" and "Dead Bob," both of which deconstruct hardcore's rage with syncopated rhythms, jarring shifts in song structures, and a general musical aptitude that one could only imagine both intrigued and puzzled the punks back in 1986.
Things get even weirder (and WAY cooler) on Side 2. "Self Pity" is the kind of protracted, exploratory, slow-build jam that completely avoids the three-chord, top-speed formula of hardcore. Instead, a low, menacing bass riff and nimble drum pattern drive the song, with brief explosions of guitar hinting at some inevitable climax. We keep getting teased with a big pay-off, and there are a few moments of thrashy release, but you get the overall sense that the ultimate moment is just on the horizon. And then it arrives, and it's not some big mosh part or circle pit anthem. It's guitarist Andy Kerr sending a signal through some sort of delay effect and tweaking the knobs into a swirling storm of chaos. Thirteen years later, Botch would do something similar on "Transitions From Persona To Object" without ever having heard "Self Pity."
Side 2 continues on in its strange journey with "Long Days." This is another track that almost owes more to prog rock than punk. Rob Wright plays a dexterous bass line on an infinite loop while John Wright keeps teasing us with various fragmented drum patterns. Rob sings a mournful melody on top of all of it. Andy appears to have not shown up to the studio that day. There are a few moments where John finally locks into a four-on-the-floor drumbeat and it's completely gratifying, but the overall intention of the song seems to be all about depriving the audience of what they want.
That vibe continues on "Metronome." Another looping bass line. Another song where John spends more time hinting at a beat rather than playing the full kit. Andy is back from his coffee break to provide vocals, but when the song actually lays into the bass riff it's so satisfying that the band apparently decided to leave guitar out of the mix entirely. There's hardly any guitar on Side 2 until the closer "Revenge," where Rob ditches the bass. We get angular guitar riffs for the verses and triumphant chords for the chorus. It's big and epic, but hardly the kind of straightforward blitzkrieg that kicked off the album.
The punks must have been completely perplexed, but maybe the punks were actually bored by the old formulas at that point. After all, Sex Mad gave Nomeansno their first hint of success. The band got signed to Alternative Tentacles, providing massive exposure across North America, and the band was invited on their first tour of Europe, where they would close out the decade as one of the top drawing punk acts on the continent---just behind Fugazi and Bad Religion. By 1986, the first batch of North American hardcore bands were dying out or crossing over into metal territories. Up in British Columbia, Nomeansno were charting a path that would now qualify as "post-hardcore," taking the urgency and DIY spirit of hardcore but expanding its parameters with a broader emotional spectrum and a larger arsenal of musical influences under their belt.

Pearl and Shawn!
Ahhh, interesting characters! You've picked the two clowns who are perhaps least biologically human out of my whole double armful of characters. You'll appreciate Pearl's interesting body situation, I think, and Shawn's whole wonderful rodeo thing.
Here is the premise of the world for anyone who doesn't know about it! Basically, when a human clown entertainer dies, a whole new being (whose personality and appearance is based on the human's clown persona) pops into existence as a fully-formed adult Clown. This clown has full language skills, but no memories and no possessions.
Pearl is a porcelain clown, which is a term for clowns who, for whatever reason, end up with bodies that look more like fabric dolls than organic human bodies. (The physical similarity of a clown to human bodies is variable, and long-story-short it's somewhat random.) At first glance, Pearl is beautiful. She has a porcelain face, long-lashed and snub-nosed and round and friendly-looking—and it smoothly transitions into white human skin around her eyes, which are a striking dark blue. She's only 4 feet tall and proportioned beautifully, not exactly like a child but not exactly like a person with dwarfism either. Pearl's costume is also beautiful, a yellow-pink assemblage of ruffles and diamonds with a big bow on her throat.
Unfortunately, she can't take the costume off. It's affixed to her body, which definitely has bones and muscles underneath but also consists of the fabric and porcelain. Pearl can't eat (and doesn't really need to—she barely needs any calories), but she can drink. (her favorite drink is blueberry mocha on ice!). Her physical coordination is low, and she tends to move rather jerkily. It's unsettling to see and makes handling delicate objects very difficult for her. :(((
Pearl is a weird, fun combination of quiet, sarcastic, and terribly, secretly hopeful. I described her personality in more detail in this post! Her best friend is Rudy, a charming young birthday party clown. She saw a kindred spirit in him, strange as it may seem—they both have layers to them. Pearl saw right through Rudy's outer layer of slightly-daft cheerful optimism to the scared, wary, cunning creature underneath, the same way that he saw through her reserved, quiet demeanor to the sharp, sparkling wit beneath. Pearl is far younger than she likes to seem, only three months older than Rudy himself.
Shawn Randy Mayer is described here, and I hope you'll forgive me for not adding much more about him! One fun fact about him is that he did not, in fact, have the most dramatic possible entrance into the world. That would have been if his "parent" died in the rodeo ring. His parent actually died of an infected punctured liver from being gored by a bull, so... it was maybe the second most dramatic way for his "son" clown to appear.
Shawn Randy Mayer, a whole entire centaur, appeared in a hospital room, took in the situation in about three seconds, and immediately tried to revive his parent. He had no chance, of course. A clown doesn't appear unless the parent is dead with no chance of becoming not-dead. But he tried his best.
The hospital staff were ready to welcome a clown into the world, of course, but they didn't expect a centaur and they definitely didn't expect him to try to do first aid on his father's body, so there was a lot of yelling involved in Shawn Randy Mayer's first moments.

How a Digital Marketing Agency Handles Brand Mergers or Rebranding Projects
Brand mergers and rebranding initiatives are high-stakes moments in a company’s lifecycle. Whether it's two companies uniting under one identity or an established brand undergoing a refresh, these transitions demand more than just a new logo or updated website. They require strategic storytelling, cross-channel coordination, and deep audience insight—exactly where a skilled digital marketing agency comes in.
Here’s a breakdown of how an agency manages the complexity of brand mergers and rebranding projects—step by step.
1. Discovery & Strategic Alignment
The process begins with a deep dive into the brands involved:
What is the business objective of the merger or rebrand?
What values, history, and brand equity need to be preserved—or evolved?
Who are the existing audiences, and how will they be impacted?
A digital marketing agency conducts:
Stakeholder interviews
Brand audits (voice, identity, digital presence)
Market and competitor analysis
This stage sets the tone for the rebranding roadmap, ensuring business goals and creative vision are aligned from the start.
2. Audience & Messaging Realignment
Mergers often bring together different customer segments. A rebranding may aim to target a new demographic altogether.
To manage this, agencies:
Re-map customer personas
Update messaging pillars and tone of voice
Identify key objections or loyalty concerns among existing users
This is where clarity matters most. The agency’s role is to create unified messaging that resonates with both legacy and future audiences.
3. Naming, Tagline, and Visual Identity
In full-scale rebrands or mergers, new brand elements are often needed:
Brand name and URL selection
Tagline development
Logo, colour palette, typography, and design system
A digital marketing agency provides creative strategy backed by data—ensuring every element feels fresh, consistent, and recognisable across all platforms.
4. Content Migration and SEO Transition
For companies with an existing digital presence, SEO is a critical component of a successful rebrand or merger.
Agencies manage:
Domain transitions (301 redirects, canonical tags)
Preservation of high-ranking pages and backlinks
Updating metadata, URLs, and internal linking structures
Monitoring keyword performance post-migration
This technical work ensures the rebrand doesn't lead to a dip in organic visibility—and often improves it with proper planning.
5. Website Redesign and Development
Whether it’s combining two sites or launching a new one, a digital marketing agency handles:
UX/UI wireframing
Mobile-first, SEO-optimised design
CMS integration and scalability
Migrating databases and assets
The goal? A unified platform that reflects the new brand—and delivers a seamless experience to users old and new.
6. Multi-Channel Launch Planning
A brand refresh is more than a one-day announcement. Agencies create phased rollout campaigns across:
Email marketing (announcement campaigns, subscriber reassurance)
Social media (visual reveal, countdowns, behind-the-scenes)
Paid media (search, display, retargeting with updated creatives)
Influencer and PR collaborations
They coordinate timing, tone, and targeting—so the transition feels natural, exciting, and cohesive across touchpoints.
7. Internal Communication and Culture Integration
Branding isn’t just external—it’s internal too. Agencies often support HR and leadership with:
Internal launch kits and video messaging
Brand training sessions for employees
Updated internal portals, templates, and signatures
A successful rebrand starts with a team that understands and believes in the new vision.
8. Post-Launch Monitoring and Optimisation
The work doesn't end at launch. A digital marketing agency closely monitors:
Website traffic, bounce rates, and conversions
Search engine rankings and crawl health
Social sentiment and user feedback
Ad performance under the new brand identity
Insights from this phase inform ongoing optimisation, helping the brand evolve smoothly in its new skin.
Final Thoughts
Mergers and rebrands are complex—but they’re also an opportunity to refresh your brand story, win new audiences, and spark growth. A seasoned digital marketing agency brings the strategic oversight, creative depth, and executional expertise needed to get it right.
Handled well, a rebrand isn’t just a cosmetic change—it’s a catalyst for long-term brand transformation. And with the right agency partner, it can be done with confidence, clarity, and measurable impact.
