Math Tips
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Pictures are not mine)
Well, let me tell you, we all have this love-hate relationship with this subject, right? The worst part is that when you don't know what the heck is going on, so, as a girl who studied maths (2 Volumes/textbooks) on her own during the year she was homeschooled, here are some tips and tricks that I did to get an A+ in my math finals!
Get your syllabus together
In the beginning I had no damn idea what was going on and it was just confusing. I had to do the first thing I did was taken my index/table of contents and mark the chapters which i knew very well and the ones I had no clue about. And then i arranged them with the marking scheme, like which one carries the most marks etc etc and study accordingly.
Complete lessons/chapters that you already know
When you finish off the things you already know then that's gonna give you the confidence you need even if you know only 1-2 chapters, learn it throughout and make sure that you'll get the answer no matter how twisted the sum is. If you're doubtful about the whole textbook like any normal person.... Start with the easy ones. (I know there are literally really no "easy" chapters, spare me)
Harder chapters need hard work
Most chapters like Trigonometry proofs, Geometry proofs, Algebra, Graphs, Mensuration and Calculus etc need more than minimum effort but here's a trick, what is the common thing in this? Yes, they're all formulae and theorem based which goes to my next point. These chapters are completely based on how much you've understood your basics.
Formulae and theorem cheatsheets
Make a list of all formulae and the theorem used in the book, write them chapter wise and no printouts or digital notes. Take a paper and write it down, no excuses. It helps you while you're practicing, revising and in the last minute review, it helped me damn much. Remember, maths is a sport. The basic formulae must come to you like reflexes.
YouTube is your best friend.
For every single chapter, go and watch the basics and how a sum is done step by step. A recommendation for this is Organic Chemistry Tutor who literally is one of the reasons i passed. He has videos from basic geometry, trigonometry, statistics to calculus. Search for your own YouTubers and be clear with concepts.
Math is fully memorization
Memorize formulae and theorems with the back of your hand, you should be able to recall them within seconds. Be thorough.
Memorize basic math values (if calculator isn't allowed)
Do this if you have a majority of chapters like Statistics, Mensuration, Profit/loss calculation etc, where large numbers are concerned. Memorize the first 10 square, cube, decimal and multiplication values. It may be dry but there are literally songs available for these things, I'm serious, i learnt the first 10 cube roots by listening to Senorita xD Search for rhymes and they'll definitely be many!!
Work it out!!!!!!
Can't stress this enough, atleast 30-40 mins is the minimum for maths. I'm serious, work out each sum, don't ever think it's a waste, you'll see the results. Practice makes perfect. Work out every single sum, from examples to exercise ones cause let's be honest, our examiners love to take problems from every nook and cranny of the book.
Whiteboard method
So, I made this up and it actually works, if you have a whiteboard or anything else, once you completed a chapter, take a random page and whatever sums you have on those two pages, you need to complete within a given time limit. It helps you to identify your weak points and where the hell you're losing both time and effort and not to mention that it gives you confidence boost up.
Hope this helps :))

i have a silly question and was wondering what your thoughts might be. iirc ace's best subject is listed as magic analysis (elective) class. and in the beginning of book 7 when sebek is screaming in the cafeteria, ace mentions that he shares that elective class with sebek. what /is/ Magic Analysis Class?? like. what's the field of study?? my brain can't really think up a concept, are they analyzing the construction of magic spells?? their rate of success?? is it like a magic statistics class?? i have no idea but i was curious if you had any idea
Tumblr media
We have some clarification as to what Magic Analysis (or Enigmics, as it is sometimes called in EN) is in Ace's third birthday card (the Broomquet series). It's not yet out in the official localization, but I can summarize the related information for you ^^ The class appears to be very math focused, with some sample questions being “Express the strength of this fire magic as an equation", “Express phenomenon A using this magical formula,”, and “Derive the power of magic B using this equation" (fan translation provided by mysteryshoptls). Ace cites Magic Analysis as being a class he enjoys because all he needs to remember are formulas, and he still gets partial credit for some problems.
So in short, it's definitely math-based but not statistics. Magic Analysis seems closer to algebra, trigonometry, calculus, or general mathematical logic. Maybe a physical science.

Competitive Exams Aren’t Easy — But the Best Home Tutor Near Me Made It Look Like They Are!
There’s a point in every student’s life where the weight of competitive exams starts to feel like carrying a mountain on your back. For me, that moment came when I was juggling school, assignments, mock tests, and a seemingly never-ending list of topics for my competitive entrance exam. It felt like I was on a treadmill going faster than I could handle—until one smart decision changed everything.
Tumblr media
That decision? Looking for the Best Home Tutor Near Me.
Why Competitive Exams Are So Challenging
Let’s face it—competitive exams like NEET, JEE, NDA, SSC, UPSC, and others aren’t your average school tests. They demand more than just hard work. They need smart strategies, time management, problem-solving skills, and above all, the right guidance. The biggest problem is, in a class full of 40–50 students at coaching centers, it’s almost impossible to get personal attention. That’s where the concept of home tutoring comes in like a breath of fresh air.
But not just any tutor— you need the best. And I found it right here in Dehradun through Saraswati Tutorials, a name that’s redefining home tuition across the city.
One-on-One Attention That Makes All the Difference
When I searched for the Best Home Tutor Near Me, I wasn’t just looking for someone who could teach me topics—I wanted someone who could understand how I learn. With a private home tutor, the sessions were tailor-made for me. My doubts were addressed immediately, and I never had to “wait for my turn” like I did in coaching classes.
“The biggest advantage of home tuition is that the learning process is no longer rushed. It’s paced around you, not a fixed schedule.”
Whether it was trigonometry in math, organic chemistry reactions, or history timelines, my home tutor broke things down until it clicked. They knew exactly when to push harder and when to slow down—and that made all the difference in my retention and confidence.
Custom Strategies for Every Exam
Different exams need different preparation methods. A student preparing for NDA requires a strong grip on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, and SSB interview skills. On the other hand, a JEE aspirant needs to ace Physics problem-solving and calculus. What surprised me the most was how Saraswati Tutorials trained their home tutors to adapt to specific exams.
“It wasn’t just about finishing the syllabus. It was about finishing it strategically.”
The Best Home Tutor Near Me created a weekly prep schedule, set mock test days, and included revision plans well before the exam date. They even helped me build a personalized formula sheet and provided curated practice questions based on past year papers. I didn’t just study more—I studied smarter.
Stress Reduction Is a Game-Changer
One thing that’s rarely talked about is the emotional pressure of preparing for competitive exams. The constant comparisons, fear of failure, and pressure from family or school can really weigh you down. But working with a home tutor meant I had a mentor and motivator right beside me.
They reminded me that setbacks are part of the process, that improvement is gradual, and that panic only slows progress.
“Having someone to talk to and clarify my mistakes helped reduce my anxiety drastically. My sessions felt more like productive conversations than rigid classes.”
This emotional support made me look forward to studying rather than dreading it.
More Than Academics — Building Exam Temperament
Home tutoring isn’t just about syllabus completion—it’s also about mental readiness. Saraswati Tutorials ensures that their tutors simulate real exam pressure by conducting mock interviews (for NDA/SSB), timed mock tests (for JEE/NEET), and even post-test analysis.
Through this, I learned how to stay calm under pressure, manage time during tests, and choose which questions to attempt first. These small yet powerful lessons became my secret weapon during the actual exam.
“Exam success isn’t just about knowledge—it’s about execution. And my tutor taught me how to execute with confidence.”
Why Saraswati Tutorials Leads the Way
There’s a reason why so many students are switching to Saraswati Tutorials when it comes to finding the Best Home Tutor Near Me in Dehradun. Their tutors are:
Highly qualified and experienced in subject-specific and exam-specific coaching
Trained to assess and adapt to each student’s learning pace
Flexible with schedules and available for both short-term and long-term tutoring
Empathetic, supportive, and result-oriented in their approach
With Saraswati Tutorials, it never felt like I was studying “alone at home.” It felt like I had my own academic support system—one that worked entirely for me.
Final Thoughts: Home Tuition Is the Missing Piece You Didn't Know You Needed
If you’re preparing for a competitive exam and struggling to make progress, ask yourself: Are you really studying the right way? Or are you just going through the motions in large coaching classes?
I was once there too—until I searched for the Best Home Tutor Near Me and found Saraswati Tutorials. That single step transformed my preparation from confusing to clear, from stressful to structured, and from average to exceptional.
“Competitive exams are tough, but with the right guidance, they become achievable. Home tuition isn’t just an alternative—it’s an upgrade.”

Strategies to Enhance Problem-Solving Skills for JEE
Tumblr media
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is one of the toughest exams in India, requiring not just knowledge but also advanced problem-solving skills. Excelling in JEE demands a sharp mind and an ability to think critically under pressure. Whether it's solving complex math problems or understanding tricky concepts in physics, developing effective problem-solving techniques is key to success. Here are some strategies to enhance your problem-solving skills for JEE:
JEE Training in Coimbatore
1. Master the Basics
Before attempting advanced questions, ensure that you have a strong understanding of fundamental concepts. Skipping the basics may lead to confusion when tackling higher-level problems. Spend time reviewing core topics in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Clear concepts help in quicker identification of the right approach for solving problems.
2. Practice Regularly
Consistent practice is essential for improving problem-solving abilities. Regularly solving a wide range of problems exposes you to different types of questions and helps you understand various solving techniques. Use practice books and mock tests to refine your skills. The more problems you solve, the better you’ll become at identifying patterns and applying formulas quickly.
3. Break Down Problems
For complex problems, break them down into smaller, manageable parts. This step-by-step approach can simplify the problem and make it easier to solve. Identify what the question is asking, list out known information, and work through the steps logically. Developing this habit will increase your speed and accuracy on exam day.
JEE Coaching in Coimbatore
4. Understand Multiple Approaches
In JEE, there’s often more than one way to solve a problem. Familiarize yourself with different methods for solving the same type of question. This versatility can be a game-changer during the exam, as some approaches may be quicker or more effective for specific problems. For instance, you may solve a physics question using both the formula-based and graphical method, depending on which approach fits the situation best.
5. Time Management
Efficient problem-solving isn't just about finding the right answer; it's about finding it quickly. Develop your ability to assess how much time to spend on a problem. If you get stuck, don’t dwell on it—move to the next question and return to it later if time permits. Practicing with time-bound mock tests helps simulate exam conditions, improving your ability to make decisions under pressure.
6. Learn from Mistakes
Reviewing your mistakes is one of the best ways to improve problem-solving skills. After completing mock tests or practice problems, thoroughly analyze any mistakes you made. Identify where you went wrong and make sure you understand how to correct it. Learning from errors helps you avoid similar pitfalls in the future.
JEE Training in Coimbatore
7. Focus on Conceptual Understanding
JEE problems often test your conceptual understanding rather than just rote learning. Focus on understanding the 'why' behind each concept. This deeper comprehension allows you to apply the concepts in various scenarios, enhancing your problem-solving ability. For example, understanding the principles of mechanics in physics can help you solve a range of motion-related problems efficiently.
8. Strengthen Mental Math Skills
Developing mental math skills can significantly cut down the time you spend on calculations during the JEE. Practice solving mathematical problems without relying on calculators or paper. This skill is especially helpful in sections where quick numerical solutions are required, like trigonometry, algebra, and calculus.
9. Stay Calm Under Pressure
Stress can hinder your problem-solving ability. Use relaxation methods, such as deep breathing, to maintain calmness during the exam. A clear, focused mind is essential for effectively solving challenging questions. During practice sessions, simulate exam-like conditions to train your mind to stay composed under pressure.
JEE Coaching in Coimbatore
10. Seek Guidance When Needed
If you’re struggling with a particular topic or problem type, don’t hesitate to seek help. Whether it’s from your teachers, friends, or online resources, getting clarification on difficult topics can clear mental blocks. Collaborative learning and discussing different approaches with peers can also sharpen your problem-solving skills.
Conclusion
Developing strong problem-solving skills is essential for cracking JEE, but it doesn’t happen overnight. By mastering the basics, practicing consistently, and adopting the right strategies, you can gradually enhance your problem-solving abilities. Focus on understanding concepts, managing time efficiently, and staying calm under pressure, and you’ll be well-equipped to tackle even the toughest JEE questions. Remember, persistence and smart strategies are the key to success!

Top Strategies for Tackling GCSE OCR Math: A Comprehensive Study Guide
Tumblr media
When it comes to GCSE OCR Maths, success doesn’t solely depend on natural ability. A well-thought-out strategy can make all the difference. Whether you are confident with numbers or find maths challenging, a structured approach will help you feel more prepared and perform at your best.
At School of Coding, we have years of experience helping students succeed in their GCSE Maths exams. Here’s our comprehensive guide to preparing for OCR Maths, focusing on key strategies that can set you up for success. If you want to dive deeper, we also offer online and offline tutoring through our website SOC Learning.
1. Familiarise Yourself with the OCR Exam Format
The first step to successful revision is understanding what you’re up against. The GCSE OCR Maths exam consists of three papers: one non-calculator paper and two calculator papers. Each section is designed to test your knowledge across a variety of topics, from algebra and geometry to probability and trigonometry. Familiarising yourself with the layout of the exam will give you a clearer idea of what to expect and allow you to plan your revision accordingly.
2. Set a Realistic Revision Schedule
Effective revision starts with a solid plan. Organise your time in advance, allowing more study hours for areas you find tricky while maintaining a balance across all topics. A helpful tip is to break up your study sessions into short bursts. Many students find the Pomodoro Technique useful — studying for 25 minutes, followed by a 5-minute break. This approach can help keep you focused without getting overwhelmed.
3. Prioritise Understanding Over Memorisation
It can be tempting to rely on memorising formulas or procedures, but a deeper understanding of the material will serve you better in the long run. Spend time ensuring you comprehend the underlying concepts behind key topics like algebra, ratios, or geometry. Once you understand the "why" behind a solution, tackling similar questions becomes much easier, even if they’re phrased differently.
4. Practice, Practice, Practice!
Practice is the cornerstone of any good maths revision strategy. The more you expose yourself to different types of questions, the better equipped you’ll be to handle the variety that OCR exams can throw at you. Focus on practising past papers, which are widely available online, and aim to complete them under timed conditions to simulate the exam experience.
5. Tackle Your Weak Points First
It’s natural to avoid topics you find difficult, but tackling them head-on will make a significant difference to your overall performance. Make a list of the areas you struggle with the most — whether that’s quadratic equations or complex fractions — and dedicate extra time to improving them. If needed, consider reaching out for help from a teacher, or sign up for additional tutoring at School of Coding.
6. Take Advantage of Online Tools and Resources
The internet is packed with free resources that can enhance your revision. Websites like BBC Bitesize, Khan Academy, and Corbett Maths offer tutorials, videos, and practice questions covering every topic in the GCSE OCR Maths syllabus. In addition, at School of Coding, we offer tailored tutoring sessions and classes to help GCSE students master difficult concepts.
7. Regularly Review Your Progress
Don’t just move on from a topic after you’ve covered it once. Regular review is critical to cement your knowledge. Make it a habit to revisit notes, past papers, and difficult questions regularly. The more you refresh your memory, the better you’ll retain the information, and the more confident you’ll feel when the exam day approaches.
8. Learn to Manage Exam Time
Time management is crucial in maths exams. Once you're familiar with the question styles, practise completing past papers within the given time limits. Knowing how long to spend on each question will prevent you from rushing or leaving answers incomplete.
9. Stay Positive and Don’t Stress
Maths can be daunting, but try to stay positive throughout your revision journey. Stress can make things seem harder than they actually are. Take breaks, get enough rest, and maintain a healthy balance between studying and downtime. When you approach revision with a calm and determined mindset, you’ll notice a big improvement in your ability to focus and retain information.
At School of Coding, we believe that anyone can achieve great results with the right support. Whether you need help with specific topics or would like guidance with your overall study strategy, our GCSE Maths tutors are here to help you through every step of your revision journey.

What are the Standard Angles of Trigonometric Table?
The Trigonometric Table is essentially a tabular compilation of trigonometric values and ratio for various conventional angles such as 0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90°, often with extra angles such as 180°, 270°, and 360° included. Due to the existence of patterns within trigonometric ratios and even between angles, it is simple to forecast the values of the trigonometry table and to use the table as a reference to compute trigonometric values for many other angles. The sine function, cosine function, tan function, cot function, sec function, and cosec function are trigonometric functions.
The trigonometric table is helpful in a variety of situations. It is required for navigating, research, and architecture. This table was widely utilized in the pre-digital age, even before pocket calculators were available. The table also aided in the creation of the earliest mechanical computing machines. The Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithms are another notable application of trigonometric tables.
Standard Angles of Trigonometric Table
The values of trigonometric ratios for the angles 0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90° are widely utilized to answer trigonometry issues. These values are related to measuring the lengths and angles of a right-angle triangle. Hence, the standard angles in trigonometry are 0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90°. Following are the trigonometry angle tables (show the figure).
The trigonometric table in its simplest sense refers to the collection of values of trigonometric functions of various standard angles including 0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, along with other angles such as 180°, 270°, and 360°. These angles are all included in the table. This makes it easier to determine and arrive at the values of the trigonometric ratios in a trigonometric table, also, the table can be used as a referral illustration to compute trigonometric values for various other angles, due to the patterns that are seen within the trigonometric ratios and those between angles.
The table as one might note, consists of trigonometric ratios – sine, cosine, tangent, cosecant, secant, and cotangent. The short forms of these are very popular – sin, cos, tan, cosec, sec, and cot, respectively. Always, memorize the values of the trigonometric ratios of the standard angles.
Always remember these points in the trigonometric table:
In a trigonometric table, the trigonometric values for complementary angles, such as 30° and 60° are measured by applying complementary formulas for various trigonometric ratios.
The value for some ratios in a table is ∞ “not defined”. The reason is that while computing values, the denominator shows a “0”, which implies that the trigonometric value cannot be defined, and is as good to be the equivalent of infinity.
Please notice the sign change in the values at places under 180°, and 270°, for values of some trig ratios in a trigonometric table. This happens because there is a change in the quadrant.
Trigonometric values
As explained, if trigonometry deals with the relationship between the sides of a triangle (right-angled triangle) and its angles, then the trigonometric value refers to the values of different ratios, sine, cosine, tangent, secant, cotangent, and cosecant, all in the trigonometric table. All the trigonometric ratios are in relation with the sides of a right-angle triangle. The trigonometric values are derived applying these the ratios. Refer to the following steps to create trigonometric values:
Steps to Create Values for Trigonometry Table
Step 1:
Make a table with the top row showing the angles such as 0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90°, and the first column listing the trigonometric functions such as sin, cos, tan, cosec, sec, cot.
Step 2: Determine the value of sin
To find the sin values, divide 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 by 4 under the root, in that order.
Step 3: Determine the value of cos
The cos-value is the inverse of the sin angle. To find the value of cos, divide by 4 in the opposite order as sin.
Step 4: Determine the value of tan
Tan is defined as sin divided by cos. Tan equals sin/cos. Divide the value of sin at 0° by the value of cos at 0° to get the value of tan at 0°.
Step 5: Determine the value of cot
The reciprocal of tan is the value of cot. Divide 1 by the value of tan at 0° to get the value of cot at 0°. As a result, the value will be as follows: cot 0° = 1/0 = Unlimited or Not Defined
Step 6: Determine the value of cosec
The reciprocal of sin at 0° is the value of cosec at 0°.
Step 7: Determine the value of sec
Any common values of cos may be used to calculate sec. The value of sec on 0° is the inverse of the value of cos on 0°.
While we learn trigonometric values of the trigonometry tables, it will also be interesting to take note of the application areas of the table. On a broader note, the trigonometric table is used in:
Science, technology, engineering, navigation, science and engineering. Before the advent of the digital era, the trigonometric table was very effective. In the course of time, the table helped in the conceptualization of mechanical computing devices. Trigonometric tables are also used in the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithms.
Important Tricks to Remember Trigonometry Table
Knowing the trigonometry table can help you answer trigonometry problems and remembering the trigonometry table for normal angles ranging from 0° to 90° is simple. Knowing the trigonometric formulae makes remembering the trigonometry table much easier. The trigonometry formulae are required for the Trigonometry ratios table.
The angle values of trigonometric functions, cotangent, secant, and cosecant are computed by applying these standard angle values of sine, cosecant, and tangent. All the higher angle values of trigonometric functions such as 120°, and 360°, are easier to compute, through the standard angle values in a trigonometric values table.
If you still can’t remember the values of Trigonometry tables, consider Tutoroot personalised sessions. Our Maths online Tuition session will help you clearly understand the table along with tricks to memorize.

Find The Missing Piece Of Your Triangle Puzzle With Our Comprehensive Calculator
Tumblr media
allcalculator.net’s Triangle Calculator is a convenient tool that shows the perimeter and area of a triangle in seconds. It makes lengthy and small calculations easy and faster and shows the area, perimeter, and missing side of a triangle in a fraction of a minute.
In math, a triangle is a closed 2-dimensional or (2-D) polygon consisting of three vertices. Our triangle area calculator determines a triangle specified with three kinds of properties. A triangle has six features with angles (a, b, c) and sides (x, y, z). One of the classic trigonometry problems is specifying three of its traits to find out the other sides.
Here’re the Steps To Find the missing sides of a triangle using allcalculator.net’s Triangle Calculator.
Suppose you want to determine the missing side of a triangular area with one or two sides. Choose from an accurate option from the available list. It will be your third side.
Enter given values or figures using a triangle angle calculator. Let us assume the area of a right triangle is 28 square m while one side is 9 m.
Our allcalculator.net’s right triangle Calculator will display the missing angles and sides in a minute. Note that you need to enter three known values, such as the lengths of the sides or the angles, to find the third side.
The right-angle triangle calculator will then use various relationships and formulas to calculate the missing values. For example, if you know two sides and one angle of a triangle, you can use the law of cosines to find the third side and the law of sines to find the other two angles.
Finding the missing angles using allcalculator.net’s triangle calculator:
Refresh allcalculator.net’s right triangle calculator page. Choose the available option you need. Suppose you have the values of two sides and must find out all the leftover angles. You can choose the default option as it will be the right alternative.
Input the lengths of the sides. Our 30 60 90 triangle calculator requires the value of a hypotenuse side which can be 13 m, or a length can be 5 m.
The right triangle calculator with angles will display the angles and sides in a minute. If one side is 12 m while the second is 5m and an angle is 67.38 degrees, the third angle will be 22.62 degrees.

So I'm in finals season...so here's the og team during finals!
Wow I haven't made a post like this in a hot minute
First off, Black Canary would be the one to make sure that there were regular homework nights
Because, y'know, she's the only adult that actually cares
She always supervises/helps. One time Red Tornado was told to supervise
It did not go well
Kaldur tries *so hard* to be helpful
He's the team mom, right? So you'd think he'd be super helpful
WRONG
My man went to military school and then dropped out of magic school to become a superhero. Probably only learned stuff from an Atlantean pov.
Some stuff? He's super good at. Like I can see him being really good at English since it's he's bilingual
But you show this man a trigonometry question and he will have a mental breakdown
That's where Wally and Dick come in
Are actually super helpful
Sort of
They're prodigies, so they know everything (especially math and science stuff). But (this may be an unpopular opinion) Wally is a much better tutor than Dick
Sure Wally will absolutely get distracted and eat all your snacks, but I feel like eventually Dick would just get frustrated and want to do your work for you
Which is exactly why Dinah supervises
Of course he gets better once he becomes Nightwing, but Robin Dick Grayson is a little shit and isn't always the most cool-headed guy. Not a great team player
Wally, however? He's gonna be hyping you up when you get frustrated, making jokes, can break things down to a basic level. He's great I miss him
During actual finals though...you *know* that these two chucklefucks are procrastination kings.
With Wally it's understandable, he could write an essay or finish a bunch of chemistry revision in the blink of an eye
But Dick...between school, superheroing, etc. Nobody knows when this guy is finishing his assignments. During cramming sessions he'll do like, five minutes of actual work? Then go play games with Wally (if Dinah and Kaldur aren't paying attention). And yet he's still getting 90s, boi how-
We already know M'gann is making all he bomb-ass study snacks
I feel like she would learn how to make coffee just for finals season to help her friends. Actually becomes really good at it. Good for you M'gann.
Isn't the *best* student academic wise, but she does alright. She does genuinely try to focus during study sessions, although I also feel like she'd get distracted by making sure everyone was comfortable ("do you want more snacks?" "I have a blanket you could borrow!" "Does anyone want music?", etc.).
Is definitely that girl that makes her notes all pretty and Aesthetic™ though, so everyone wants to borrow her notes come finals season. Also makes flash cards for everyone
Conner...I'm not gonna lie, he's the worst person to study with
Kinda like Wally and Dick: already knows everything, doesn't take notes, is probably off doing something else (in this case, probably practicing or watching static)
But unlike the Dumbass Duo, he genuinely seems to just...not care. And especially season 1 Conner can be kind of a prick about it
Dinah: Conner, come back here, you need to revise
Conner: *lists off the formula by heart without even looking at her*
Although, to be fair, if you're stuck on something and need to know the answer, it's a whole lot faster to ask him then to look it up/find it in your notes
And he likes helping M'gann in the kitchen (makes terrible coffee though)
So he's got some perks
Now, Artemis
We already know she slaps in English class (she's a literature major in college), and we know she does her assignments in a timely manner (or at least better than Wally)
But also...I kinda feel like this girl is *a mess* in finals season
She's got that Asian Parenting Mom™ yelling in the back of her brain that she's never prepared enough. And personal headcanon? This girls handwriting is abismal, so her notes are kinda shit
But she genuinely tries so hard, and eventually pulls through like she always does
But God forbid you talk to her while she's pulling a Stress Allnighter? You're a dead man
Is definitely the reason M'gann learned how to make coffee
