i don't think error's glitchiness is utilized enough like imagine a vs error fangame where she completely breaks and crashes the game and make the game window move while u have to avoid her attacks and leaves a message on ur pc calling u a loser each time u died. I think that would be pretty cool

Tease! D: (/j <3 ) Now I'm just going to have to sit here and speculate! Is it a finite amount of magic Scar can channel at once? or in his whole life? Is it the world messing with him? the weakness potions causing an issue? combinations of the above?

It’s a combination of a lot of things happening to Scar at the end of the Mimic Arc Part I. He’s been continuously doused with weakness potion for several days, which has certainly taken its toll on him, and in all honesty, is more than enough to trigger a flare up in his legs / muscular dystrophy alone. But instead of dealing with that in the slightest, he has an outburst of vex magic.

Not only that, but an extended outburst.

Normally Scar only utilizes this full vex form for a matter of minutes, but this is different. He uses it to find Grian, and he doesn’t relent until they find somewhere relatively safe. By this point, he’s been pushing himself way past his limit and begins to suffer the consequences.

And while, no, there is no finite amount of magic a vex hybrid can utilize, there’s a few problems with what Scar did:

Vex magic is emotion-based, and Scar is still not accustomed to using negative emotions to empower him. He typically relies on things such as loyalty and love, but this is perhaps the first time he’s truly embraced rage.

He used too much of it. It’s like a constant stream of energy being expelled to aid his strength, and now he’s left with practically nothing.

He’s physically exhausted from the potions and overexerting his body. Normally he could potentially lean on his vex magic in a pinch when this happens, but not this time. This time it’s only made worse by the strain of magic overuse.

In short, it’s not immediately life threatening, but he’s going to be vulnerable as he recovers. Very vulnerable.

…and if Scar tried to push even further? It could very well backfire and cause him to more or less burst.
