Fun little fact I discovered while putting away the game post-completion: the french language booklet packaged in the canadian version of Shadow the Hedgehog (which was included in canadian game copies as a requirement at the time) reuses the bilingual box's front and back art! Seems like it was a quick job to remove the 4KidsTV advert on the back... Even though it's featured on the english booklet anyways, despite the channel not being available in Canada. (Sonic X played on YTV instead.) Oops!

Well here's an interesting point from Penny's profile...

It says here that she can't read sheet music! Just looking at the Treble Clef is enough to make her dizzy!

Some of you reading that just now may be thinking "that can't be right! She likes 'poring over sheet music and blueprints'!" Sorry to say, but that quote was a change to the lyrics of Penny's Song made by the English translation team. The original line, 「歌と実験に夢中でワクワク好きな女の子」, translates to mean "Being lost in song and experiments, [she's] an excitement loving girl" (a bit iffy on the second half of that sentence, but this should be sufficient to illustrate my point). They just say that she likes music and singing, but not that she enjoys looking at sheet music lol. How hilarious that the English localization team made what they THOUGHT was a safe assumption about her only for the Japanese materials to contradict them just a couple years later!
