#WHY CAN YOU ONLY NAME TWO MUSICIANS GEORGE?
Note
My main problem with that episode was just that I feel like they hyped up the beatles aspect of it so much (you can even find doctor who magazines in shops in England that have posters inside them that parody "with the beatles" album cover with the Beatle actors and the doctor and ruby) and they did so little with it. The actors didn't really feel like John and Paul in most scenes, we saw and heard basically nothing of George and Ringo, and we didn't see them play off each other.
They put the beatles in an episode and neglected to have them interact with each other, the thing that's arguably the thing most distinct about them.
Like I know it's only a 40 minute episode but come on. It could've been done better. AND the secret chord could've been the Damn A Hard Day's Night Chord, or the final chord of A Day In The Life. To make the Beatles aspect of it more significant.
Also the way the only thing that was different in a London without music was smog? Really? Nothing more???
Jinx Monsoon was incredible tho what a stellar performance. (Sorry for the long rant I just had t h o u g h t s )
THE WAY I HAD THE SAME THOUGHT ABOUT THE CHORD???? I was yelling for the AHDN chord. Why was it just the most normal major chord ever? For an episode that started off saying interesting, accurate stuff about music theory, I just felt really let down as a music lover (as opposed to a Beatles fan particularly). Like I was like "genius????? that's not a genius chord what the FUCK" It could have not been the AHDN one too (though that was perfect and right there – also would be something where no copyright strike could possibly be justified, while being PERFECTLY iconic) just something that actually felt like interesting music.
Look, I understand Doctor Who is here to be Doctor Who, not biblically-accurate Beatles RPF. That being said, it didn't even try to create interesting – if perhaps inaccurate – characters for John and Paul that you could learn to root for as the episode progressed. The two DW episodes I'm thinking of the most here are the Shakespeare and Van Gogh one, which similarly centered the historical person's artistry as the thing that ultimately saves the day. The premise of this episode made that task harder, granted, but it's so easy to include the Doctor going on an extended rant about what makes them great or whatever. He did that a little, but he basically just named two songs and left it at that lol. And it was about the fucking piano not them as musicians/writers.
TO BE CLEAR: I'm not saying this because I think the show needs to pay them tribute or whatever, I'm saying that if the narrative treats them as geniuses that are the only ones capable of sending Maestro back, I think the episode should maybe in some sense try to demonstrate this genius (slowly build it up over time!!! what!!! a fucking character arc perhaps???). And you're right, they clearly made a lot of hype around this being a Beatles episode and then didn't really want to actually protray them. They were off-screen for most of the episode and completely unaware of the plot! Why? Like genuinely, why am I meant to care about this piano chord scene when the characters in it have been absent from the plot for the past twenty minutes of runtime and their only purpose before was essentially to provide exposition on the conflict of the episode? I DON'T GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did think Jinkx did a good job, but I also found Maestro was so… one-note (lol). It didn't to me feel justified to spend so much time with just the villain, when Maestro is just… kind of one-dimensionally evil. Like, it's entertaining, yes, but when you combine it with my above issue it just feels hollow, if that makes sense. Having Maestro actually interact with the musicians they're sort of running dry would have been fun, I think? Honestly would have been way better than zeroing in on Ruby, and given Jinkx her flowers without sidelining the Beatles aspect.
Side-note, but weirdest thing I'm noticing about this season is that RTD is doing the companion-mystery thing so many people hated about Moffat but like. he is NOT as good at it lmao.

Another 21st century au headcanons and right now this is.... The glorious inventor queen, Celiné Georges. 👀🙏🏻
Born on December 25th in Strasbourg, France and she's a Capricorn. (Lmaoooo ion fw with zodiac signs though I just literally like to put this randomly 😂) She's the eldest child and she actually has two younger siblings as well. She has a younger brother named Édouard and he's 5 years younger than Celiné. He's also a professional football player who plays in the Premier League. (Manchester City) and in the France national football team. And the other younger sister is named Daphné. Daphné is 11 years younger than Celiné. And she's currently a med student as well.
Her father is obviously French of course and her mother is of African descent. Celiné has a good relationship with her parents and with her siblings as well. Also she always have been a Mama's girl. She loves and cares for her mother so much.
Celiné can speak 5 languages. Aside from her native language (French), she can speak English, German, Spanish, and Portuguese fluently. She's currently learning Mandarin at the moment and she's kind of.... Struggling to learn about it.
She went to Massachusetts Institute of Technology thru an exchange scholarship program. She studied aerospace engineering here and this is also where she met Greta. (Who was also an exchange student like her back then)
She was just an average girl during her high school years in France. Not that popular but she's actually very smart. She likes physics a lot and also chemistry as well. She also likes astronomy and she wishes that she could work on NASA one day. She's a member of the science club there and she also used to do a lot of robotics and stuff in her high school years.
She's an introvert. She only has like, a small group of friends during her teenage years and even until now. She also doesn't trust anyone easily that's why her circle of friends are really small. (Quality over quantity though 👀) Also, speaking of being an introvert, she mostly likes to spend her time alone and she would just be with her friends when she's in the mood to hang out with them. (Which barely happens because she's mostly in her room all day inventing stuffs 👀😂)
She obviously learned German from Greta 👀 she was actually the one who taught her how to speak it and in exchange for that, Celiné also started to taught Greta French as well.
She likes her coffee strong. Like really strong and bitter. 👀 (She's literally me lmao i also like my coffee really strong)
Currently working as a aerospace engineer at NASA right now 👀 she's happy that she had achieved her dream of working there and she also work alongside Greta too. (oh and even Orville as well. 'cause that boi is an astronaut.)
Well, speaking of Greta, she's also in a long-term relationship with her as well. They got together during their sophomore year in college. (Oh and what if I told you that they are also engaged in this another universe that I've made 👀🤭) and they didn't start off really good. They were literally an academic rivals back then before becoming lovers 👀👀🤭
Did you know that Celiné also used to be in a band during her teenage years? 👀👀👀 Well yes. She used to be the lead guitarist in that band. They would mostly play at the school whenever there's an event there or they would even have a gig sometimes. But eventually, they disbanded after graduating high school because Celine and her fellow bandmates had to take on a different path in life. (She also doesn't see herself as a musician also. She prefers working on a STEM-related career)
She started inventing things when she was 9 years old. It just started with some simple wires and some other materials that she got from her grandfather's basement and then that's where she just started inventing things and her grandfather was even impressed by her inventions.
I almost forgot to put her hobbies here 😂 honestly aside from doing inventions and stuff, she also likes playing chess. She was taught by her father how to play the game because her father used to compete back then. She also does some mechanics as well. Like she can fix her own car something like that. 👀 She likes reading books too. Sci-fi is one of her favorite genres and she also likes doing photography as well. (Her camera are full of Greta photoshoot pics though 👀)

Your thoughts??
"In our dreams, we have limitless resources and the people yield themselves with perfect docility to our molding hands. The present education conventions fade from their minds, and unhampered by tradition, we work our own good will upon a grateful and responsive rural folk. We shall not try to make these people or any of their children into philosophers or men of learning, or men of science. We have not to raise up from among them authors, editors, poets or men of letters. We shall not search for embryo great artists, painters, musicians nor lawyers, doctors, preachers, politicians, statesmen, of whom we have an ample supply…The task we set before ourselves is very simple as well as a very beautiful one, to train these people as we find them to a perfectly ideal life just where they are. So we will organize our children and teach them to do in a perfect way the things their fathers and mothers are doing in an imperfect way, in the homes, in the shops and on the farm."
General Education Board(Rockefeller philanthropy), Occasional Papers, No. 1
You guys are kicking the doors of my inbox with some hardcore stuff, and I love it.
Short answer: the educational system is a scam. But you can figure that out just by reading the General Education Board.
Long answer? Well, before I start, let me quote this Scottish dude that died in 1832:
"Every man who has become, in any way, valuable, has taken the reins of his own education." ‒ Sir Walter Scott
The "history of education" is an extensive research that, after some point, revealed itself as fruitless to me, as I was busy with other interests. No mainstream media and easy-to-find books will help you on this journey. But it's a good start for anyone who wants to understand more about how this world works. I must say this is not a road for the faint of heart. If you don't have a solid, truthful hope, you might go a bit nuts.
During my bachelor's degree, after dropping 4 half-completed graduations, my keen nose guided me to study about this and one thing led to another. You end up seeing the same family names, their companies, then you check a bit of underground history and politics, artistic movements, ideologies, parties, big tech and pharma development... I mean, none of this is new. It's been happening since forever, so let's get a bit more dystopic and realistic here:
We are under a big system that wants to smash your face into the ground and break your teeth. They will give you the illusion of two polarized sides, and make you fight your brothers and sisters till death, while hiding truth in plain sight and keeping you busy on a 9-5, confused and tired. Always sedated, if possible. Always scared. I was actually working on a poem that goes like this:
"There they teach you to love what's bad Here we teach you to hate what's good They teach you to tell lies We teach you to hide truth"
Don't take me wrong, I'm all in for education. But I only believe in self educating. You will eat as much as you're hungry.
We are intelligent beings for a reason. We were designed to think and understand. But thinking is actually quite hard and not very encouraged anymore, and no one can actually teach you how to think. You have to learn by yourself. You have to want to think.
I mean, most people don't even stop and ask themselves why they are doing things the way they do. It's what my therapist says: stop the autopilot!
As a former teacher, I can tell you there is so much more to developing cognition and process of thought, and creativity, and virtue and social skills, than to sit in a classroom all day, being fed a very filtrated and distorted version of "world history". They teach you to hate true knowledge. And let me tell you this: the Rockefellers, the Rothschilds, and all their little friends, are not only relying on the educational system to remain on power.
And there is so much I could write on this, to be honest, but I don't want to. It's not necessary. I can quote George Orwell instead.

welcome to marina, MIKHAEL FOWLER - VERANO ( cis man, he/him ) ! they are a THIRTY year old who has lived on the island for SIX MONTHS. word on the street is they’re currently living in MARINA HEIGHTS and works as a RESTAURANTEUR / ORCHESTRA MUSICIAN. everyone also says they look a lot like GEORGE MACKAY. what do you think? — JAMES, 24, THEY/THEM, EST.
MENTIONS OF CHILD ABUSE.
profile.
full name: mikhael percival fowler - verano.
birthday: december 25th, 1992.
astrology: capricorn sun, capricorn moon, aries ascending.
sexuality: gay.
currently listening to: psycho killer by talking heads.
last known location: [[[cannot be found]]]
PINTEREST.
brief history.
second eldest born to the fowler clan; a wormed apple to their father's eye. his replica - his prodigy; the doting son chasing father's approval.
grows up thinking that their upbringing is a competition, that the fowler brothers are all just players - and that mikhael has to be the best. has to be better than them all. smarter, stronger - emotions no need to pay heed to, not needed and not wanted.
child abuse; watches his brothers fuck up and reap the consequences, time after time again. the first time - mikhael flinches. the second time - he learns not to flinch anymore. after that, mikhael no longer spares a glance. can't bring himself to.
keeps his head down - his wits sharp. fights constantly with his brothers - but it's only encouraged by their father - tooth for tooth, eye for eye. someone always has to be at the bottom of the pyramid - and it won't be mikhael. it won't.
as long as he adheres to their father - mikhael grows up easy; easily liked, with a quick tongue and a rolling charisma - still more easily hated, hubris always known to be his downfall. he does what's needed of him - top grades, first chair - captain of a team, or two. whatever gets him farther - and he always intends to go all the way.
keeps only one thing for himself - to himself, and that's his relationships. the real ones - the ones that matter; meetings with boys inside their bedrooms, never his own - church parking lot talks inside a car with no a/c, meetings for a club that doesn't exist. brings home girls because that's what's wanted of him, what's expected - but he doesn't love them. he can't - not like that.
when their parents divorce, mikhael follows their father to new york immediately - there's no room in their mother's heart for him, and there's no use in trying; he's too like their father, now, for her to look at him with warmth.
joins the new york youth orchestra as soon as they'll allow him - as soon as his father gives in; the smallest mercy the smallest allowance. always a virtuoso - mikhael works his way up the cello chairs until he hits first - until he's the best he can be, until there's no farther to go.
joins the philharmonic orchestra after that, side by side with business school - does both, even with the constant strain on his boy. even with the constant stress - his father doesn't understand why he's still playing cello. it's just a hobby - something unimportant, something that only served as a hindrance to mikhael's future in his company.
he doesn't want to work for his father - even though he's been trained and trained and trained like a dog, conditioned into an egomaniacal monster - just like their father, from hair to eyes to nose to chin. to muscle, to tissue, to heart. brains wired the same.
ends up taking a difference business route - not in his father's trade, but good enough - acceptable enough, while their father's still kicking, while his business is yet to trade hands. opening restaurants is a pass time, in their father's eyes - mikhael's silly little hobby, almost as silly as the cello he still treasures.
meets miguel in the midst of it all - mikhael's never been a good man, but he tries for miguel. tries true, and earnestly. they're long distance at times - even through their engagement, but mikhael soon moves to marina for him - for their wedding. tells his dad he's opening another restaurant - but not about miguel. never anything about miguel.
and so mikhael's been here for a little bit :)
facts & temperaments.
is a cunt.
is for realsies opening a restaurant in marina, it's just still under wraps as mikhael tries to find balance amidst newlywed life and adjusting to small town life. he takes genuine pride in his work, though. it's one of the few things that bring him genuine joy.
highly critical of others and distrustful. professional complainer. probably genuinely believes that miguel's the only actually kindhearted person on the planet.
would die for miguel but he also has this problem where he can't. shut the fuck up.
always has to have the last word and can't resist getting into a petty argument. he can tell that his presence in his brother's lives is bothersome and it only really fuels him.
bit of an. inflated ego. thinks he's the best, that he's gold silk spun from the hands of midas himself. seems hardy - but is easily dented. pessimistic and a bit gloomy at times, especially if things don't go his way.
probably wouldn't show it but he takes things very personally. knows he shouldn't, after growing up with his father, and his brothers - but he's kind of. sensitive. knows how people view him but can't seem to stop confirming all their worst suspicions about him.
isn't out to his parents still, they don't even know he's married tbh. is kind of just waiting for them to die so that mikhael can feel. at ease in his life.
despite this, knows his brothers wouldn't say shit - they have more dignity and kindness than mikhael does, even with all their separate issues.
petty. plays dirty. isn't a fair person and doesn't try to be. a major shit - talker. will always be around to hear the gossip and is incapable of keeping his mouth shut.
it's all a defensive wall for the most part, to keep others out. miguel was the one who wormed himself in - who made mikhael want to be a better person. he's still working on it - just hopes that miguel has enough patience for him.
has two cats named miss havisham and princess diana n they are their children pretty much.
music is like. one of the few ways that mikhael can calm himself down from a tizzy. it always grounded him, and he seems to be a little... better, afterwards. not as mean.
maybe eventually he'll. learn to be kinder but mikhael still feels stuck in the body of a teenager, sometimes. still angry and still fighting in the only way he knows how - lashing out like he's done so many times before.
i do think any attempt of his to be kind is kind of. awkward. like he's really forcing it. but i do hope he tries, sometimes. to be better. to be kinder.

music asks: questions 22, 23, 29, 32, 36, 42, 43 and 44 🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗
Thank youuuuu!! 🐥
22. What songs do you listen to when you’re sad? Lmao a couple years back I made a playlist when I was feeling shitty. Haven't listened to that in a while (which I guess is a good thing), but some highlights from it are Yer Blues by the Beatles, I Don't Care Anymore by George Harrison, and Rose by Lee Hi. Yer Blues is usually my go-to "I hate myself" song. Bonus fun fact, the playlist is just named "fuck" haha.
23. If you could learn to play one instrument, what would it be and why? Guitar so I can sing and play stuff at the same time. Though I can kinda do that on ukulele already, but guitar would be epic.
29. Who’s your favorite musician? ONLY ONE??? Okay and this is such a vague question, does it mean favorite person who happens to be a musician, or person who is my favorite specifically because of their musician-ness? I'm assuming it's the latter, because my fave person who happens to be a musician would just be my sister, but that's not that interesting of an answer haha. Maybe I'll pick George Harrison? Idk, it's hard!
32. What song lyrics are meaningful to you? All the lyrics to hope ur ok by Olivia Rodrigo. And the lyrics to Feel Special by TWICE.
36. What’s your favorite theme song? Phineas and Ferb theme song fuck yeah.
42. For the next week, you can only listen to five songs. What would you choose to listen to? I will pick songs I'm specifically into right now:
Moonlight Sunrise - TWICE
You Don't Need To Hold Me Tight - Kelly Groucutt
drivers license - Olivia Rodrigo
1, 3, 2 - TWICE (Jeongyeon, Mina, and Tzuyu)
Hits Different - Taylor Swift
43. What’s the last song you listened to that gave you chills? Oh dang hmmm. Probably when I was listening to Doughnut by TWICE earlier today. Jihyo's note at 2:50 always hits me.
44. Do you have any funny music related stories? Lmao probably lots, but here's the first 2 to pop into my head. At band rehearsal this week (it's a concert band), the baton flew out of the conductor's hand and it went flying far lmao. Story number two, band rehearsal again, different conductor. Can't remember exactly what happened, but he made a mistake or something and then just said "ohhhh buttholes."

Feed the World
“There’s a world outside your window, and it’s a world of dread and fear.”
Anytime this Christmas song comes on, no matter what version, I will sing my heart out. It is THE BEST Christmas song ever preformed and that is why I listen to it all year long. There are two versions, 1984 and 2014, the newer version has slightly different lyrics at some parts. Here are all the lyrics of Do They Know It’s Christmas? by Bandaid. (the newer version is Bandaid 30):
It's Christmas time There's no need to be afraid At Christmas time We let in light and we banish shade
And in our world of plenty We can spread a smile of joy Throw your arms around the world At Christmas time
But say a prayer Pray for the other ones At Christmas time it's hard But when you're having fun
There's a world outside your window And it's a world of dread and fear Where the only water flowing is (where a kiss of love can kill you) The bitter sting of tears (where there’s death in every tear)
And the Christmas bells that ring there Are the clanging chimes of doom Well, tonight thank God it's them instead of you (Well tonight we’re reaching out and touching you)
And there won't be snow in Africa this Christmas time (bring peace and joy this Christmas to West Africa) The greatest gift they'll get this year is life, ohh (a song of hope when there’s no hope tonight, ohh) Where nothing ever grows (why is comfort to be feared) No rain or rivers flow (why is to touch to be scared) Do they know it's Christmas time at all? Ohh (How can they know it’s Christmas time at all)
Here's to you Raise a glass for everyone Here's to them Underneath that burning sun (and all the is to come) Do they know it's Christmas time at all? (How can they know it’s Christmas time at all)
Feed the world Feed the world Feed the world Let them know it's Christmas time again (Feed the world) Let them know it's Christmas time again (Feed the world)
Let them know it's Christmas time again
Now Bandaid, if you don’t know, was a collection of musicians that came together for this song to raise money combat famine in Ethiopia. I am a big fan of 70’s and 80’s music, so I do not expect the people reading this to know these names, but the charity group was made up of Bono, Paul Young, David Bowie, Paul McCartney, Boy George, George Michael, Duran Duran, Sting, Phil Collins, and others whom I don’t know too well from the 80’s.
For the Baidaid 30 version, you can just feel the pain in their voices. Mmm, I love it. The passion of all of them, and so many different vocal types singing together compared to the original. It just hits different. For this collection of musicians, we have Bono again along with One Direction, Sam Smith, Ellie Golding, Ed Sheeran, Seal, Rita Ora (such a powerful voice!), Dan Smith, Paloma Faith, Sinead O'Connor (I love their part!), and a handful more.
So, they raised money for poverty in Africa, but why is it my favorite Christmas song? It’s my favorite Christmas song because it’s not about things. It’s not American-ized Christmas. When people think of Christmas, everyone thinks of different stuff. Some may think of Jesus, some may think of Santa, some will think of hot cocoa and snow, kids may think of winter break, my mom thinks of a larger workload because her job fluctuates at Christmas.
“In our world of plenty we can spread a smile of joy”. Joy, that’s what I think of when I think of Christmas. I don’t know how but the holiday season always makes me joyful, even if I’m going through something. I think it is the music, the snow, the reminder of Jesus’ birth, time with family, and so on. So, I have always looked at this song as “do they (other nations) know that it’s a time for joy?”
No, they don’t because why would they. What do they have to be joyful for? Sometimes I don’t even know what I have to be joyful for, and I have so much more than a lot of people here in America. My joy comes from the Lord, plain and simple, I can’t find my joy anywhere else. I can try, and I have tried, but it’s not the real joy that lasts.
So, another post that goes right back to talking about to spreading the gospel, this time in order to spread joy. Is God laying something on my heart? Am I just a messenger for someone who may need to hear this, I don’t know.
We must “feed the world” and “let them know it’s Christmas time”.
John 21:17 “A third time He asked him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt that Jesus asked the question a third time. He said, “Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Then feed my sheep.”

Beatles lend me your ears
Tumblr media
But he is immediately reminded by Paul and John he’s the junior. Dylan himself expressed his admiration for George’s musicianship and writing.Īnd so George comes into the project hoping to instill some of that feeling of open and easy collaboration. It turns out they not only respected George as a musician and composer, but admired him. In Part One, George had just returned from hanging out with The Band and a singer-songwriter named Bob Dylan. And think of your family – it’s really hard to ever escape how you’re seen by your older siblings. When George joined the band, John was 17 and George 14. Harrison, after contributing songs like the brilliant While My Guitar Gently Weeps and the tragically underrated Long, Long, Long, had established himself as among the better songwriters around to more or less everyone except John and Paul. And George….well, let’s talk about George for a second. Most immediately because John is addicted to heroin and Yoko and has seemingly checked out (which he kinda is through much of the first part). But what’s made clear here is that Paul knows he’s coming off this way, and he HATES having to be put in that position. And yes, Paul IS very much the one to wrangle them like a teacher trying to inspire bored students (I know his pain). Who’d even try that? The traditional narrative (bolstered by the Let It Be film) paints Paul out as a bossy and relentless taskmaster whom John and George understandably grow sick of. It’s far too early in the morning for them – namely, it’s morning – they’re in a cavernous and cold foreign space with as, George immediately observes, “Terrible acoustics.” Also, bear in mind, they had released The White Album – 30 songs – less than two months before, and now they proposed writing and performing 14 new songs in less than a month. Part One is at times, frankly, a little tough to watch, as there is a palpably odd vibe (to borrow from the vernacular) to it. But the cameras are so ubiquitous the unrelenting they often, especially in Parts 2 and 3, seem to forget about them and we see how they truly worked together as a band and as friends. Yes, there is an awareness on their part that they’re being filmed. We are in the room with them, hearing and seeing how they interact with another in a way that’s nothing short of revelatory. And Get Back’s greatest accomplishment emotionally is that feeling of truly having a mysterious, inexplicable, intimate knowledge of them is intensified geometrically. I’m talking in sweeping and simplified generalizations, but I hope you get the gist. Their music and their personalities can make you feel on some deep and ineffable level that you know them and they – somehow – know and understand you. So much so that even casual fans have some vague and yes, reductive, notion of who they were: Paul polite and cute, Lennon funny and biting, Harrison removed and spiritual, Ringo affable, etc. But beyond that, more than any band I can think of, their personalities were so interesting and large that they had their own narratives. Of course, most of it is that they wrote and recorded some of the greatest music ever, period. Allow Me To Mansplain The Beatles For A Secondīut here’s my theory about why The Beatles get into so many people’s nervous systems and stay there forever. It has fundamentally rewritten the story of how and why they broke up, for one. But if you’re a serious fan of The Beatles, well, it’s one of the most fascinating things you’re likely to ever see on them. If you’re moderate fan, I think you’ll enjoy it quite a bit, even though you’ll maybe want to fast forward here and there. This project wasn’t really made with them in mind. First off, if you’re at best a casual fan of the band, I’d wager there will be parts that will be pretty tedious and downright yawn-inducing. Spoiler Alert: The Beatles Eventually Break Up So, having had some time (not enough, I’ll be returning to and unpacking this behemoth for a while to come), I’ll offer my first impressions. I’d not planned on posting in depth about “Get Back,” but after a couple of people expressed disbelief that I hadn’t, I realized, “Hasn’t my entire life on social media been leading up to this?” Fair point.

Space Girl- George Weasley
Space Girl, show me the stars You know the galaxies of my heart
George Weasley was not excited for his first astronomy lesson of the year. He'd agreed to do the class simply because he needed to fill his timetable and it seemed more enjoyable than history of magic.
That's what he had told Fred at least.
In reality he had opted for astronomy for one specific reason. Y/N Y/L/N. She was a shy Hufflepuff girl and although he had never spoken to her George was absolutely enamoured with her.
So, as he dreaded the lecture ahead he tried to remember that this cloud had a silver lining, and it was a silver lining that was absolutely worth it. This was all confirmed when he walked into the astronomy classroom and saw her.
She was sat at a desk at the back of the room. Her hair twirling round her finger as she studied the open text book in front of her, seemingly unaware of the chaos around her. George noted happily, that none of her friends seemed to be in the class and rather than asking to sit with Angelina and Katie like he had been planning he figured what the hell and went for it.
"Hey, is it alright if I sit here?" He questions, willing his cheeks to not flush red when he looks up at him
"Oh, of course you can George," she nods, moving her stuff to the left to make room for him. He feels his heart leap at her knowing that it was him and not Fred.
"How did you know?" He questions, head cocking to the side to look at her better. He smiles slightly at the bright red flush on her cheeks.
"You aren't that hard to tell apart," she shrugs
"Our own mother can't always do it," he pesters, he's genuinely intrigued how she seemed to know so easily.
"Uh, okay then. You're slightly taller so when you are together I could always work out who was who. From there I just kind of noticed little things, you have two freckles on your neck, Fred has a scar above his eyebrow. Your face is slightly longer, your nose is a little longer and has that cute little bump in it, your hair falls completely differently and your lip has a little curl in it. But the easiest way is that you have a different vibe about you," She rambles like it's the most obvious thing in the world and George himself wouldn't haven't been able to explain the physical differences so well.
He's pretty sure his heart melted on the spot.
"You should tell my mum all of this," he smiles gently, not knowing how to respond and explain that he's never felt more seen in his life.
"Sorry, I'm not a creep or anything I swear. Just observant,"
"It was quite sweet actually," George smiles, biting back a chuckle when her face blushes a bright red. "So, you any good at Astronomy?" He questions politely
"I'm okay. It's probably my best class. I've always known about it so," she shrugs, cutting herself off. She knew that George was a pure blood and probably wouldn't want anything to do with her if he knew she was a muggle born.
"You're a muggle born right?" He questions, she's surprised his tone doesn't sound angry or accusatory like was often the way with pure bloods, instead genuinely interested.
"Yeah," she confirms "my older sister is obsessed with astrology so I knew a lot about it before I got here. It's probably the only subject I didn't fail first term," she admits, George smiles softly. He can only imagine how hard it would be to come to the school with no magical knowledge.
"Look at you now, you're top of the year in almost everything," he points out
"Yeah, Ced helped me find my feet and after I settled in it all made sense," she explains. George knew that her and Cedric were best friends, he was a lot more outgoing and George had never quite understood how their friendship worked but it was no secret wherever one was the other wasn't far behind.
Girl, are you a cancer? 'Cause you make me cry When we kiss or dance in the sky We're dancing in the sky
"Hey space girl," George grinned brightly as he dropped into his seat
"If you've forgotten my name you can just ask you know," she blushes a little, not thinking that the boy she had fancied since second year could actually have given her a cute pet name.
No. The only logical explanation is that he had forgotten her name but after being sat next to her for two weeks now was much too polite to ask for it.
She had told Cedric this and he had laughed loudly, ruffling her hair and telling her that she would do well to remember how beautiful she was.
"I know you're name. Y/N Y/L/N. You're a Hufflepuff, obviously," he gestures to her tie before carrying on "Your best friend is Cedric Diggory and you two are always together. You tutor my little sister in potions. You help Professor sprout with the plants in the green house on a Sunday morning. You like to study in the library, specifically the second table from the back left corner. You never eat carrots but you love peas and you always buy two chocolate frogs at Honeydukes one for the walk back and one for a treat that night. I'm not a creep. I'm just observant," He finishes his ramble with a reference to when she had proved just how well she knew him a few weeks prior.
She sits, slightly astounded as he looks at her like his ability to list off so much information about her that she had never specifically told him shouldn't be a shock.
Her heart melts on the spot and she's pretty sure her crush just became real feelings.
"Why?" She questions quietly, not really meaning for him to hear
"You're beautiful and I like looking at you," he shrugs, turning to the text book in front of him. He notices her eyes still staring at him and turns to look at her "hey, you wouldn't want to study together one night this week would you?" He questions, smiling at the blush that overtakes her cheeks
"Yeah. I'd love that,"
"Amazing, does Wednesday work for you? I could meet you at the library after classes end,"
"Sure," she nods shyly, biting her lip to stop a smile and having no clue the very action makes George want to kiss her senseless.
"I know the table," he grins, chuckling when she blushes bright red before turning back to his book.
Space girl, I saw a lunar eclipse Looked like how I feel 'bout your lips Space girl, the only way that we'd end Was if you were sucked into a black hole
'You'll be fine. Just be your self and if he doesn't love you he is stupid,' Cedric's words ran around her head as she remembered sitting in his dorm whilst he calmed her down and Cho did her hair. She had protested to the couple that it wasn't a date but they had still insisted on helping her get ready during their free period after lunch.
Now, sat in the library she tried to remind herself that George was a lovely boy and wouldn't do anything to make her uncomfortable, he probably didn't even think of her like that.
"There's my space girl, you're looking particularly beautiful today," George is beaming as he approaches the table she's sat at, taking the seat next to her.
"Hey George, good day?"
"It's better now i'm here. Fred hasn't shut up about Millie all day, I mean I know he fancies her and all but seriously you'd think she hung the stars in the sky herself," He complains, not admitting even to himself that Fred would say he was just as smitten for his astronomy partner. "How was yours?" he asks, opening his bag to pull out his astronomy text book
"It was okay, Ced managed to blow up our potion so we have detention tomorrow night," She shrugs
"I'll see you there," He grins
"Why am I not surprised?" she deadpans and he allows his laugh to fill the air around them
"You know me to well," he blushes a little as he says it and forces himself to not stare at the way she bites her lip to stop from grinning. Half wanting her to stop so he could see that beautiful smile that seemed to be all he thought about and half wanting her to bite that lip every time he sees her because something about it was so attractive to him. "Do you mind explaining the constellation we learned about last lesson to me because I won't lie I was very distracted?" He doesn't feel like admitting that it was her that he found so distracting.
"Of course," She grins, unfolding her star map and pointing out the constellation Lyra "So Lyra is latin for Lyre, it is like a stringed instrument basically a harp, and it's associated with the myth of Orpheus," She begins to explain
"The musician guy?"
"Yeah," She confirms, watching as he takes notes of what she is saying "Orpheus was given the harp by Apollo, and it’s said that his music was more beautiful than that of any mortal man. His music could soothe anger and bring joy to weary hearts. Wandering the land in depression after his wife died, he was killed and his lyre  was thrown into a river. Zeus sent an eagle to retrieve the lyre, and it was then placed in the night sky and that's the story behind the constellation Lyra. It's best seen in August, and, it kind of looks like a lopsided square with a tail to Vega, it's brightest star," She recites, pointing towards the star on the constellation.
George tries hard to remember to focus on what she's saying, listening intently but he can't help his mind from wondering, instead scanning her face, every small detail, the way her eyes lit up as she talked, the way her lips curl in a small smile when she stops talking and notices him staring at her.
"Distracted again," he admits
"Clearly, you find astrology boring," she teases
"No, I just find you distracting," He admits, his heart melting as she is unable to stop the bright grin on her face. She doesn't say anything, simply grabs her notebook and opens it to the right page
"Copy my notes so you can at least teach yourself the content, the textbook is confusing," she instructs before turning back to her own work. They work silently for the next hour, dutifully copying notes and planning for their essay that's due in next week but routinely stealing glances at each other, blushing when one catches the other.
But I'd still spend my days dreamin' 'bout you Dreamin' 'bout you Tell me how to Stop dreamin' 'bout you
"Were you listening to anything I just said?" Fred questions, waving his hand in front of his brother's face
"Sorry, what was it?" George questions, pulling his eyes away from the Hufflepuff table. Fred sighs, turning to look at what George has been staring at and is not surprised in the slightest.
She is sat amongst her large friend group, despite being shy around people she didn't know she was chatting happily to the group. Cedric on her right, is laughing at the story she seems to be telling and Archie Young, who George hated simply for his obvious crush on her, is clinging onto every word.
"You are so whipped,"
"I know, it's embarrassing. I can't stop thinking about her and she probably only sees me as a friend,"
"Hey, don't say that. She would be stupid to not like you Georgie, besides, she stares at you just as much," Fred reassures his brother, usually he would tease him but he knows that this girl is different, it means something. "I still don't believe that she would never get us mixed up," Fred ponders, in reality he didn't doubt it, if George said she could tell them apart then why doubt him, but Fred wanted a moment alone with the girl.
"I swear to you that she wouldn't,"
"Lets test her," Fred exclaims, jumping up and tugging his twin out of the hall and to their dorm.
They spend an hour getting ready, stealing Ginny's eyeshadow to draw two fake freckles on Fred's neck, stying his hair attempting to fix every minor detail to make them utterly identical.
When they find her, she's hugging Cho Chang before turning around on her own and walking towards the Hufflepuff common room.
"Go hide," Fred instructs, shoving George towards an empty classroom he can watch from.
"Hey space girl!" She turns immediately at the name, mildly confused when the person approaching isn't George.
She had never spoken to Fred before and immediately feels herself becoming a little shy.
"Uh, hi Fred," she smiles as politely as possible. Fred stands with a smirk on his face.
"You fancy my brother," he states, she blushes a furious red that seems to be the final confirmation Fred needs, his moment alone with her providing the answer he had wanted.
"I-uh-he-that-it-" she stutters out, Fred's smirk only grows as she turns impossibly more flustered before sighing  "How did you know?"
"Telling us apart is hard, especially when we try, you must really like him to know so quickly. Besides that reaction alone was enough to let me know I'm right,"
"Does he know?"
"He's blind," Fred shrugs, eyeing her as he decides he likes her, she clearly cares for George and that's all that matters to him.
"Right," she nods awkwardly
"I'm sure I'll be seeing you around," Fred grins before turning on his heel and heading back up the corridor to where an oblivious George is waiting.
Girl, are you a Cancer? 'Cause you make me cry When we kiss or dance in the sky We're dancing in the sky
George can't help the wide smile on his face when he sees her. She, like all the other 6th year astronomy students, is sat in her robes on the astronomy tower despite it being 11:45. He picks up the star map from a pile and heads towards her.
She is sat around a corner, almost out of eye line from the class completely and if he hadn't been looking for her he probably wouldn't have even seen her.  He sits down next to her, pressing his back against the cold stone wall just as she was doing.
The task was simple, to draw a diagram of the constellations they could see that night with the correct names onto an unlabelled star map and then from 6am tomorrow they had 48 hours to write an essay explaining each constellation they had found, it was their final assignment for the first term of school. George thought that was stupid, why would they do the task that involved sitting outside at night in December and the written exam in the summer when it would have been warmer.
"Hi," she speaks softly, the moonlight made her glow and George could have sworn she was an angel. Her own map was already a quarter full and wordlessly she arranges it so George can copy the notes she's already made.
"Hey, you okay?" he questions, noticing the way she curls into herself
"Just cold," she nods, he flashes her a smile, digging into his bag and pulling out a spare sweater and a blanket, both knitted by Mrs Weasley. He passes her the jumper
"Are you sure? you have it with you so that you won't freeze. I can't take it," she blushes
"No, I'm already wearing a jumper," he points out "I figured I'd bring a spare cause I knew you wouldn't think too," He adds with a smile, she blushes but accepts the jumper from his hands.
"thanks," she smiles, he nods. Watching as she pulls the jumper over her head. Her heart somersaults at the smell of George that envelopes her, his does the same at the sight of her in his jumper that looks baggy and too big, the sleeves like paws on her hands, and the large 'G' sewn into the front making him blush a little.
He wraps the blanket round one of his shoulders holding the other side out for her
"I don't bite," he speaks softly, it's like he can read her mind and knows she's thinking about how close they will be to sit under his blanket together. She blushes and giggles a little and George could die happy having heard that sound.
She shuffles closer, wrapping the blanket around her shoulder and begins to point out the constellations she's already mapped for him, cocooned next to him in the blanket.
They work together for the next twenty or so minutes as she stifles yawns, eventually allowing her head to droop onto George's shoulder when he teases her for stifling yet another yawn.
"This blanket smells like you," she mumbles, he blushes madly but can't help the smile
"Are you warm enough?"
"Bit cold, I'm fine though," she admits, he rolls his eyes at her as she shivers a little and wraps an arm around her, pulling her close to him
"Better?"
"Better," she confirms. She didn't mean to fall asleep but all cozy and warm being held by her crush it was impossible not to.
Not wanting to wake her, George finishes both his star map and hers before dozing off, his head resting on hers. He knew he should have woken her to go back to her dorm but spending the night sleeping with her in his arms was just too tempting.
She wakes up before him, having slept better than she ever had before and feeling utterly blissful in George's arms. That is until she realises she hadn't finished her work, she can't help the beam when she sees George has done it for her. She wants to stay wrapped in his arms but feels it better to leave now so it isn't awkward. In return for completing her work she takes her astronomy notebook that has all the answers to the essay written simply and leaves it on top of his star map, she knew the answers from memory anyway. Not even sparing the doodles and comments in it a thought.
She slips out of his hold, sneaking through the other students who fell asleep and heading back down the tower stairs to the main school, forgetting to take off his jumper.
George wakes up disappointed to not find her in his arms but smiles when he sees her notebook.
I hope you play this song some day And think of Earth Girl who loves Space Girl
George can't help the sigh as he explains to Fred where he had been all night.
"That all sounds pretty good to me Georgie," Fred comments, wondering why his brother seems down after his night with the girl.
"It was, I'd just hoped she'd be there when I woke up," he admits
"Well think about it like this, when have you ever had the opportunity to be disappointed that she wasn't there when you woke up before?" It's Hermione Granger who speaks up, she'd been listening to the twins talk on the sofa next to her and Harry's without really meaning too. It was just more interesting than Harry and Ron's discussion.
"you're right. It's better than nothing. Thanks Granger," he nods in agreement. He begins to flick through her notebook, not to study but simply enjoying the little doodles and her comments.
And then his world stops.
"How many people can you think of with the initials GW?" his questions is almost under his breath but Fred hears, perking up from the puking pastel plans he had been working on
"Just you and Gin, why?"
With no explanation George leaps up, jogging out of the room. Fred look mildly baffled until he sees her open notebook, and sure enough written on a corner amongst drawings of stars and planets is a little 'gw' with a heart next to it. Fred smirks and closes the book, turning back to his notes with a feeling of glee for his brother.
When George Weasley arrives outside the Hufflepuff common room he suddenly realises he has no clue how to actually get in, he stops, slightly out of breath from his sprint staring at the barrels.
"Hey George," her voice makes him jump as he turns to see her and Cedric approaching
"Hi," he smiles, suddenly not really sure what to say
"Well, now I've walked you back I'm going to go and find Cho," Cedric smiles politely at George, wiggling his eyebrows at the girl as she blushes.
"You looking for someone?" she asks politely
"You, actually,"
"Oh, what can I help you with?" she asks, he has no idea what to say "Oh! your jumper, it's in my room. You can come with," she smiles, reaching out and tapping at a barrel and then climbing into the passage that opens.
He follows wordlessly, glancing around the large circular room that is filled with yellows and blacks. She walks a little more confidently than he's seen before and smiles happily to the people who call out to her but doesn't stop to chat with them. He decides he likes it here, not only because it's so cosy but because he likes seeing her so at ease.
He follows her into her circular dorm room and towards a fourposter covered in pillows and blankets, his jumper sitting folded on top of the trunk at the end.
"I actually wanted to talk to you," he admits, it's now or never.
"Of course, what's up?" she questions, sitting comfortably on her bed and gesturing for him to sit down next to her
"I- well- how many people do you know with the initials GW?" he questions curiously, she looks at him, clearly mildly confused.
"Springing to mind just you and Ginny," She answers, not really sure what the point of his question is.
Without thinking for even a second he pulls her face to his and plants his lips on hers, kissing delicately before pulling away. She stares at him, utter shock in her eyes and mouth agape.
"I-I am so sorry. I just- well there were the initials GW in your notebook and a little heart and well I thought maybe you liked me back and then I heard you only knew me and Ginny and I assumed, which was wrong of me- and- merlin- I'm so sorry-" he's rambling anxiously and his hands wring through his hair
"Back?" her question is a whisper and he snaps his head up to look at her
"Yeah. I like you. Kind of thought that was obvious," he admits. His heart flips at the wide smile on her lips before her hands grab his neck and pull his head down so his lips meet hers. She kisses him with passion and hunger and he finally gets to bite down gently on that lip he's watched her bite a million times.
Her arms stay wrapped around his neck as she lies back on her pillows behind her, pulling him with her and not breaking the kiss for a second. They only pull apart when she needs to for air. But the beam on her face and her flushed cheeks make George want nothing more than to kiss her again.
"Wanna go do the essay together?" he questions
"We have 48 hours, we could stay here and cuddle," she suggests, a little timidly but her nerves leave when George grins brightly, kicking his shoes off and rearranging himself on her bed. She takes her own shoes off before climbing into his open arms, her head on his chest as she leans up to press another kiss to his lips.
"I'm keeping that jumper by the way," she informs
"Whatever you want space girl,"
I hope you play this song some day And think of Earth Girl who loves Space Girl I hope you play this song some day...

"Wait, wait, so you're actually a musician? Like it's not a joke." Y/N snorted, the whiskey already burning in her veins.
"Ouch! That cuts deep Y/L/N. Yes, I am actually a musician." Fred laughed, his shaggy hair bouncing as he laughed. Instead of his usual pajamas, he was spotted in a old band tee that looked at little too baggy for his own good and a nice pair of jeans.
Y/N had only a minute to change and she switched her deer-print pants for a pair of washed jeans and a grandpa sweater.
"Then what the hell are you doing in London? Why not New York or San Fransisco, with all the other Jazz enthusiasts?" She asked, taking a small sip of the glass in front of her. She had never really been a fan of Whiskey but with Fred, it tasted different, so she didn't mind when he ordered another round for them.
"Eh, I have family here, it's easier this way." He said, his tone cutting into a hard-edged one. Y/N knew she better not press the matter further if she knew what was best for her.
"Yeah, I understand that. My family's still in America, I sort of moved here for business reasons as well." She informed him, eyes downcast on the table in front of them.
"Oh? And what is it you do? Wait! Let me guess, journalist, oh!—I have a better one, paparazzi! Is that why you knocked on my door? Damn, you really are a fan." Fred said his tone was playful and she could tell he was just naming jobs where you're paid to get into other's business.
"Uh-huh. You wish. No, I'm still in school for psychology. About a year left. . .?" She said thoughtfully.
Fred pondered this for a moment. “I never went to college, never did my brother, George. Mum almost went mad when she found out.”
Y/N could imagine a teenage Fred sheepishly telling his mom about the idea of a career in music. It brought a smile to her face. “Well, I’m glad you did. I enjoy listening to it.” She said slyly, hiding the compliment under a soft voice.
Fred seemed to have heard it though, his eyebrows raised in amusement and flicker of a smile appeared on his lips. “I’m glad you do.”
“Can I get you two lovebirds anything else?” The waiter asked, coming up to the table. She looked to be in her late twenties and had her blonde hair tied up in a tight ponytail.
Taken aback, the two alleged lovebirds began to stammer. “Uh, no, weren’t not.” Y/N started, “Can we just get the check?”
The waiter looked immediately embarrassed and fetched for the check quickly. “Oh! Yes, of course.”
Y/N watched as the woman’s ponytail swayed back and forth as she walked back into the staff only room.
𑁍ࠜೄ ・゚ˊˎ
Y/N waited outside the pub, rocking back and forth on her heels. Fred had said to wait outside for him while he paid for the drinks.
After several moments in the bitting breeze, Fred appeared. His eyes darted around the parking lot to find Y/N’s. Once he spotted her, he jogged over with ease. “It’s freezing out here.” He said, pocketing a piece of paper as he spoke.
“I’ll get us a Taxi.” He announced after she didn’t reply. Her mind was still on that piece of paper. What the hell was that?
“Y/L/N, you coming?” Fred shouted, waving her over to the incoming Taxi.
She shook her head, “I’m alright. I think I’ll walk home! Thank you for the drinks though. It was a really nice time.”
He smiled up at her, “Hope we can do it again sometime, yeah?”
Y/N nodded, and watched as Fred squeezed his 6’3 self into the small Taxi. She laughed as he struggled to close the door with his hands and ended up using his legs.
Waving him goodbye, the Taxi road off, leaving a smoky trialed behind it.
Y/N wasn’t sure if it was the alcohol talking or maybe just the company, but she held her smile all the way home.

Audio
John and Yoko gave several interviews on September 12, 1969, and the above excerpts from the interviews interest me for many reasons — but two in particular are key:
How openly John discusses that he still would want to make records with the Beatles and there’s no intention of splitting.
The date of the interview.
Within 24 hours (literally the same day), John would be flying to Toronto and telling Allen Klein he was quitting the band. So, was John just lying through his teeth the whole time throughout the interview—there’s even an instance where he reveals The Beatles are his only real friends along with Derek, Neil and a few from Yoko’s circle and that the group have agreed to record and begin sessions again in January when the Get Back album is due for release—or did events later that day lead to a drastic change in mind?
If anything, it seems to indicate that John was not completely checked out of the band during this time and was still interested in recording and continuing with the group — a detail that is not really discussed in many books and biographies.
Please see under the cut for full transcription of the audio!
JOHN: ‘Cause the Beatles are always discussing, should we go on, or shouldn’t we? Why-whe-what are we together for now? And when it gets down to it, I like playing rock’n’roll, I like making rock’n’roll records. Now, I’d rather a choice of, if I want the whole LP to meself, is to get a few musicians together. Now I know that, I’ve played with other musicians just very rarely, but occasionally played with them. It needs some…work together to get anything good going, you know. I don’t like session men so I try not to use them. I don’t like violinist or anything these days. I try not to use anybody but the Beatles. And, if I wanted to make a record I’d choose the Beatles, you know, I can say to Ringo “Give me um, Be-Bop-A-Lula”, you know. So therefore, we got that going, you know.
And even from a commercial point when we discuss everything now, what’s the biggest selling name? Beatles or John Lennon and The Fabs? Or George Harrison and The Fabs? Which–where’s our biggest market? Is Beatles. Who are our closest friends? Beatles. Who do we have most arguments with, Beatles. So Beatles is it, you know.
[…]
JOHN: See they’re growing up too, you know. And uh, we all want Beatles still cause it’s, it’s a big power and it’s good power, you know. And we’ve no intention of splitting it, you know. Any of us. I can’t be specific about it, you know. But obviously, I’m deeply involved with Yoko, it has some…you know, maybe less reliant on the others but so it goes for the others too, you know. That as we’re all sort of branching out. Which we were occasionally all the time, you know. Like I did How I Won The War, I wrote In His Own Write and Paul wrote the music for Family Way, etc. and George went off to India with sitars and that. So it’s only, you know. We nip off and come back and do some work then nip off again, you know.

76. "Sleep. I will stay with you."
77. "She is sixteen years old." "All musicians start young." "This isn't a concert, this is life. Stop ruining it."
78. "He"s been in an accident." "Where?" "Five minutes away from your place."
79. "I wish he wasn't unconscious, so I could talk to him. So I could thank him."
80. "It's been four months now. I have came everyday and, uh, I dunno what to say. Hero, I need you to wake up. I can't function knowing you are right here."

88. "There's no anesthesia."

90. "Bless you." "I didn't sneeze." "Yeah right. Now go sit down, you're sick."
91. "It's called insomnia you dim-wit."
92. "Join me and we can be great."
93. "You didn't bring me here for the cake." "No, dear, but you are so gullible. I brought you here for a sacrifice." "My life?" "Why yes."
94. "I don't know. I never had someone collapse on my doorstep before."
95. "I have nothing to lose. No family, no friends, just my meaningless life."
96. "That's my daughter, not the villain's... so give me her back before I rip your eyes out."
97. "How long was I out for?!" "Ten minutes, but you were drifting. I don't think you had that good of rest." "Oh, I thought I was asleep for hours."
98. "I know, I know you are going to hate me after this, but trust me when I say it's for the best."
99. "I know everything about you."
100. "I think narcissism is contagious because after watching you for a couple hours, I think I may have developed a little crush on the mirror..."
101. "What did you give me?"
102. "Is she screams, I'm going to scream, and then we are going to die."
103. "No fighting today, my cat just died."
104. "How hard did you punch me?"

106. "I am cooking for you. You aren't my servant, so stop thinking it."
107. "My old masters made me into a weapon and called me Villain, but if you desire a lapdog I am going to need to be refurnished to fit your needs."

111. "Are you too hot or too cold?" "Both."
112. "I wish we could turn back time."
113. "I lost the game." "What do you mean? Hero is dead." "Precisely."
114. "Make a wish." "That you live."
115. "Villain has been acting exceptional! Today we granted them a break from the machine. Go ahead Hero and take him for some ice cream."
116. (Sleepy murmurs) "Don't go. I neeeed you." "Yeah yeah I know Villain."
117. "Villain was the one who hurt me, not Hero."
118. "Supervillain is in danger!"

120. "My head is killing me."
121. "Don't call an ambulance. Just... hold me."
122. "You don't have to do this. It's going to hurt you more than me." "Anything for you dearest, anything at all."
123. "Hero, go wash your hands before dinner."
124. "You have PTSD?" "I don't know?"
125. "I have soap in my eyes!' "Rinse it out." "Mm no I'm permanently mortally blinded." "Uh huh."
126. "We need to cuddle to keep warm."
127. "Take care of them for me, will you?"
128. "When I'm gone, promise to tell my mother, please."
129. "Drug him and then bring him to me."
130. "Superheroes are for children. In all honesty, we are all villains."
131. "Oh my gosh, Hero, what happened?" "Poisoned."
132. "Wouldn't it be nice?" "I don't fancy prosthetics."
133. "Just shut up and listen!"
134. "There is a memorial parade for Hero tomorrow. They asked you to lead it."
135. "She turned it around... at the end."
136. "I wish that he understood how much I care for him."
137. "Civilian! He fell asleep in my lap last night, like totally zooted. It was so cute, but also very tempting. I stuck a french fry up his nose." "Wow. Did he wake up then?" "Yeah, I am sorta kidnapped right now..."
138. "The book, the sword... all pieces of the puzzle huh." "No, darling, all pieces of my game."
139. "Their death is my fault! Not your's, but mine, so quit trying to make me feel better."
140. "Once upon a time-" "Oh please, not another fairytale."
141. "If only it was that easy."
142. "We are stuck in a maze, how can you be so joyful?"
143. "Celebrate Hero, eat your cake, party into the night... but just know, I will be back."
144. "Call 911!" "Why?" "I stubbed my toe."
145. "Your jawline looks like it was gauzed over in lard." "It looks better than your hay for hair."
146. "You're my best friend." "Villain? Are you on drugs?"
147. "Lay him there and leave him. Let the rats dine on him."
148. "The point of the cow suit?" "Oh, uh, I was at a Halloween parade. You know, for children."
149. "I-i never wanted to hurt you." "I know, I wanted you to, so I allowed it."
150. "Favorite movie?" "Your death." "Ooo never heard of it, let's watch it." "*groans* Oh my gosh, you are stupid."
151. "Being a flutist is my only superpower. And being modest apparently."
152. "Your head will join my collection if yoi don't watch out."
153. "Hey, hey! Wake up, buddy. It's just a nightmare."
154. "Meh head hurts." "Yeah, you hit it pretty hard."
155. "Let's go for a ride." "On that yellow miniature school bus?" "It's a ranger you idiot."
156. "No painkillers, no bandages, perfect environment for infection to settle... I'm just gonna leave you here Villain."
157. "I save you and this is how you repay me? A prison?"
158. "What are you doing?" "Climbing a tree? No Hero, I am breaking into your house to kidnap you."
159. "I formally apologize."
160. "Of all places, Hero, you had to teleport us to a desert. A DESERT."
161. "Supervillain won't stop unless we team up." "I don't think our alliance will stop them, I think it'll just make them angrier."
162. "Stop singing or I will blow this place until even the last atom is broken into itty-bitty molecules!" "That... that is scientifically impossible."
163. "I'm a genius! Yippee!"
164. "Life isn't perfect and nor is your morals."
165. "Control yourself before you kill everyone around you."
166. "Say your goodbyes."
167. "Of all the ways I've died, drowning was by far the nicest."
168. "Love the collar. Is it for fashion purposes?" "Uh, um, uh, er, no?"
169. "You look lonely. Want some hot coco?"
170. "It is negative million out there and you expect me to come in toasty warm after fixing your power?"
171. "Are you sick?" "Yeh." "Come on in then."
172. "Civilian, don't even bother trying to save him."
173. "We have a breach!"
174. "What makes a villain's life less important than your's?"
175. "Enjoy your soup." "You poisoned it." "And you're delusional, eat up."
176. "I hate 99% of the population." "According to a meme I found, you are therefore a cat."
177. "Don't overuse your powers."
178. "This is just an unfortunate event."
179. "You look so cute when you are sleepy and barely conscious."
180. "His fever is rising."
181. "Save her, leave me. I'll-i'll get out of this somehow."
182. "Sometimes self-sacrifice isn't noble, it's selfish."
183. "You are so funny that I need my inhaler to kill you with." "That sentence was so discombobulated that I am leaving."
184. "Just for your information, I hate oranges but love grapes."
185. "Walking down the stairs shouldn't be a momental effort." "You broke both your legs."
186. "You just destroyed my life's work, don't expect me to give you a huge bear hug."
187. "Is it true that you have telekinesis?" "Yes, why?" "Go steal me a donut."
188. "You are so incredibly touch starved, Villain." "Mmm." "Tired? Go ahead and sleep, I'm here."
189. "This is for your own good, I promise."
190. "I'm cold."
191. "I don't want to move and you can't make me."
192. "I AM RETIRED! YOU DON'T NEED TO CONTINUE TO SEND ME PAMPHLETS OF THE HOTTEST HERO OF THE YEAR!"
193. "He's unconscious." "That tired, huh." "No, he passed out from blood loss."
194. "I want a kitten."
195. "I'm no scared of you, so stop acting like I am."
196. "He isn't dangerous, just scared."
197. "They won't be going anywhere for a long, long time."
198. "Hero? Hero? Oh my goodness, please wake up."
199. "Life is too short for pleasures."
200. "I hope you are happy, in the end."

I Need You (Part 3)
Tumblr media
Summary: Sequel Series to the Do You Want to Know a Secret ? Series. Reader accepts a job as a photographer for a band as they begin a tour mid-1966, what happens when she finds out that she knows them ?
Tumblr media
Though you’d never actually seen a group record a song, you’d often fantasised what it would be like to get to watch something like this.
The Beatles were unconventional at best, and their recording methods involved a lot of laughing and messing around with each other.
You knew that seeing them work on one of George’s songs was unusual to see, so when they went right off with working on one of his songs, you couldn’t help but be curious of what you’d be witnessing.
You sat quietly in the corner with your camera as you watched the four of them slip on their headphones, George held an acoustic guitar, the strap supporting it higher than you’d seen on other musicians.
You could tell this wasn’t the first time they’d been working on this song, as Paul looked almost bored sitting behind the piano and John sat slouched in his chair half asleep holding a tambourine.
“George, have you got a name for this one yet?” John asked lazily, tapping his tambourine against his leg gently.
“I don’t know,” George replied as he got into position.
“Whenever you’re ready lads,” you heard a voice over the speakers say.
“One, two, three,” George mumbled to himself before beginning the song.
It was the same little riff he’d been playing earlier, though it was more complete with Ringo’s drums and Paul’s piano.
When it finally came to an end, you heard the voice come through the speaker again, “Very good, did you want to try the vocals today too, George?”
“Yeah, I think so,” He replied, setting his guitar down and standing by the mic.
John and Paul also stood by the other mic that had been set up just to the right of George’s, a divider between them.
You felt someone’s presence as Ringo came and sat in the chair just to the left of you.
“Here,” he offered his headphones to you, “Its a better experience when you can hear everything thats going on.”
You grinned, “Thanks, Ringo,” you replied as you slipped the headphones on, patiently waiting for them to begin.
You heard the beginning of the track start, the guitar fading in just before the drums came in.
“I want to tell you, my head is filled with things to say,” you heard George’s voice come through the headphones, causing you to jump slightly.
“When you’re here, all those words, they seem to slip away,” you looked up at George, only to find him staring back at you.
Your heart began to race as he continued singing, “When I get near you, the games begin to drag me down,” his eyes continued to bore into you, “it’s all right, I’ll make you maybe next time around.”
You shook your head at him as the song moved on into the bridge, “If I seem to act unkind, its only me, its not my mind that is confusing things.”
You knew what he was trying to express, as much as you tried to shut it out.
“I want to tell you, I feel hung up but I don’t know why.”
Yes you do, George. You’re married and apparently in love with someone else.
“I don’t mind. I could wait forever, I’ve got time.”
Just about the exact same words he’d said to you two years ago, though those were much different circumstances, weren’t they?
“Sometimes I wish I knew you well.”
You do, George, you know me better than anybody.
“Then I could speak my mind and tell you, maybe you’d understand.”
You’ve already told me plenty of times, I think maybe you’re the one who doesn’t quite understand.
You looked over to Paul and John as the song finished, the two of them in their own little world as they sang the backing harmonies.
As the song finished, you looked to George once again, meeting his eyes once again.
I love you. He mouthed to you.
You felt your breath hitch in your throat and you had to take the headphones off as you stood and rushed out the door into the control room and back out into the long hallway that Brian had led you down just this morning.
You started running down the hall, trying to find the way out but every new hallways took you somewhere else, and there was no end in sight.
Your emotions where on high alert as you stopped and leaned against the wall of another dead end hallway, sliding down until you were sat on the floor, your knees pulled to your chest as you let out a sob.
How could he still love me if he was married? Nothing made sense anymore and nothing was clear to you.
You didn’t know how long you’d been sat in the hall before you heard a familiar voice shouting, “There she is!”
You looked up to find John and Paul, and you were instantly thankful that George hadn’t tried to find you.
You wiped your tears with the back of your hand, “Oh, ‘m sorry lads, I was just—I needed a moment,” you murmured.
The two men sat on either side of you, John wrapping an arm around your shoulder and pulling you close to his side.
“You don’t have to explain anything to us, love,” Paul says as he rubs a hand on your knee in a comforting manner.
You smiled thankfully and nuzzled into John’s chest, you’d missed having the boys around all the time, they were a very comforting presence in your life that you’d deeply missed.
“I should’ve come to London sooner, then maybe he’d have been with me,” you murmured.
“You can’t blame yourself, dear, you weren’t ready yet,” John replies, rubbing his hand on your shoulder, “Lord knows he’s not ready for you.”
You nodded your head weakly and just enjoyed the silence between the three of you.
After what felt like hours, you finally spoke again, “Don’t you guys have more recording to do?” You asked, lifting your head off John’s chest and looking between the two of them.
“We do, but we were worried about you, besides George and Ringo have some overdubbing and such to work on,” Paul explained as he stood and offered you a hand which you gladly took as he pulled you up.
You nodded in understanding as John stood as well and the three of you began walking down the hall back to Studio 2.
“Someone’s going to have to show me around here, ‘cos I haven’t a clue on how I got over here,” you said with a laugh.
“Oh we’ll give you a tour, darling,” Paul said as he slipped an arm around your shoulders.

Album of the month / 2021 / 08 August
I love listening to music - gladly, all the time, everywhere. That's why I would like to share which music (or which album, after all I'm still from the vinyl generation ;-) I enjoy, accompanies me, slides up my playlists again and again...
The Beatles & George Martin
LOVE
Rock-Remix / 2006 / Parlophone, Apple, EMI (Universal Music Group)
When you hear the term "remix," it's usually a DJ putting a danceable techno beat under a pop or rock song. And often enough, this leaves the original performer or composer turning in his grave to the same frantic beat. But there are also exceptions. And one of them this time is my album of the month.
34 years ago in Québec I visited a kind of circus performance that was new to me. There were no animals, but excellent artistry. The whole thing was embedded in an almost psychedelic production of sounds and music and light effects and projections. Although individual acts, the whole was dramaturgically staged like an opera or a musical in one piece. The name of the circus was "Cirque du Soleil". A concept that in the following years and decades went from French Canada around the world and celebrated legendary successes everywhere - including artists in residence in Las Vegas. The visionary founder Guy Laliberté also became known worldwide as an impresario and, incidentally, a billionaire.
There are bands I really regret never having seen live. For example, The Queen with Freddie Mercury, although at least I met the latter once in a club in Munich - well, we were in the same room for a few hours. But there is also the opposite, for example The Beatles. As much as I appreciate these musical titans, a concert seems rather witless to me: film footage shows four musicians on stage, initially even dressed alike, operating their instruments without notable movements or show effects and trying to permanently drown out screaming young ladies. But maybe I only comfort myself with this assessment, because I was and am simply too young to be able to experience John, Paul, George and Ringo in their active time on stage. Anyway.
Guy Laliberté and George Harrison were friends. And at some point - I imagine the two of them over a cup of yogi tea after meditative yoga, one handing the other the joint "You, I have an idea..." - the idea was born to bring together the two cultural phenomena Cirque du Soleil and The Beatles. As a composition for all senses, new and timeless, ecstatic and colorful. After all, it was Harrison who was always eager to experiment. He converted to Hinduism in the 60s, gained experience with psychedelics and transcendental meditation and introduced oriental instruments, first and foremost the sitar, into Western music and is thus considered one of the most important pioneers of world music. A development that goes hand in hand with my personal taste: the longer their hair got, the more I liked their music.
It was only after Harrison's death that Laliberté was able to close the deal with the rights holders of the music (Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison), which can thus probably be considered a kind of Harrison's legacy. For the show was not to simply put together a soundtrack of the old familiar hits, nor were the compositions to be reinterpreted by other musicians. No, the original multi-track recordings were to be used to create new adaptations of the original songs. And who would be better qualified for this than George Martin, who had already produced groundbreaking albums with the Beatles themselves. In the process, he advanced from mere producer to arranger and idea generator, who also revolutionized recording technology by using overdubbing, for example. It's hardly surprising that he is often referred to as the "fifth Beatle".
In general, Sir George Henry Martin, Commander of the Order of the British Empire, is a man of musical superlatives. He is recorded as the producer of 4,836 titles, but one assumes considerably more. And that includes not only The Beatles, but also a wide variety of works for Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Gerry & the Pacemakers, Manfred Mann, Little River Band, Ultravox and many more. His 30th number one hit was "Candle in the Wind" by Elton John. Martin founded the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts with McCartney, was one of a handful of producers inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and received the BRIT Award for "Best British Producer of the Past 25 Years" in 1977, among countless other honors.
So George Martin went into the studio with his son Giles Martin, who had produced INXS and Kate Bush, among others, following in his father's footsteps. And not just any studio - of course it had to be Abbey Road Studios (again). With the original recordings, the team not only created new variations of the original pieces, as they could have been created alternatively with the Beatles themselves. For example, they enriched the acoustic version of "While my Guitar gently weeps" with an orchestral accompaniment and combined the rhythm of "Tomorrow never knows" with the vocals of "Within You without You". Thus, a soundtrack project for a circus stage show ultimately became a new album by the Beatles. No wonder that Sir Paul himself described "Love" like this: "This album puts The Beatles back together again. It's kind of magical." And Ringo added "George and Giles did such a great job combining these tracks. It's really powerful for me and I even heard things I'd forgotten we'd recorded."
The documentary "All together now - A Documentary Film" by Adrian Wills (director) and Heidi Haines (screenplay), which won a Grammy in the category "Best long form Music Video", also fits the project's ambition. It tells the entire story of LOVE's creation, from the first meetings of the creative team around Martin and Laliberté to interviews with, among others, McCartney, Starr, Yoko Ono, John Lennon's widow, and Neil Aspinall, the Beatles' longtime road manager and event technician, to the first rehearsals of the stage show in Montréal.
LOVE is more than a medley of hits by the mushroom heads, but rather a kind of rock opera that is a first-class listening experience even without the accompanying show. Says George Martin: "The Beatles always looked for other ways of expressing themselves and this is another step forward for them." And father and son succeeded with remarkable creativity. The new version of "Because" is still directly harmless, since it uses the birdsong of "Across the Universe" as well as the final chord of "A Day in the Life" played backwards. "Glass Onion," on the other hand, became a grandiose collage with elements of the songs "Things We Said Today," "Hello, Goodbye" (background vocals), "I Am the Walrus" (background vocals), "Penny Lane" (flute), "A Day in the Life" (orchestra), "Magical Mystery Tour" (effects) and "Only a Northern Song" (effects). State-of-the-art technology in digitization, mixing and mastering also ensure the finest sound quality.
Speaking of sound quality: a show that relies so heavily on music must of course also rely on a perfect acoustic performance. Created by French designer Jean Rabasse, the LOVE theater at The Mirage / Las Vegas houses 2,013 seats set around a central stage. Each seat is fitted with three speakers, which sums up to a spectacular sound system with 6,351 speakers designed by Jonathan Deans. The stage includes 11 lifts, 4 traps, and 13 automated tracks and trolleys. The theater features 32 digital projectors creating very large high definition digital 100' wide panoramic images, even on four translucent screens that can be unfurled to divide the auditorium. That's what I call "being in the middle of the action".
Reportedly, the theater cost more than $100 million - which doesn't even include the development of the show. And unfortunately, it also means LOVE can never go on tour. So I won't be able to avoid traveling to Las Vegas one day for that reason alone. Which I trust will be on the event calendar for a few more years to recoup its costs. And so the circle closes: Decades later, I would once again enjoy Cirque du Soleil in North America - and thus also experience The Beatles live in a somewhat different way.
Here's a trailer for the Las Vegas Show LOVE from the Cirque du Soleil:

Hello! How the main 6 (especially Asra) would react if MC recover their memories?
Thank you for requesting hopefully you like it!
Request are open :)
How the main 6 react to Mc recovering their memories
(Also another fun disclaimer: I feel like this really depends on what terms your mc left off on with each of the Li’s I also feel like your apprentices past definitely would effect this depending on how you imagined it, so for the sake of this head canon I’m going to be using the in game canon as a reference, but if any one wants something more spefic lmk!)
Asra
Immediately checks you for headaches, nausea, anything that could be hurting you, and when he sees that your okay?
I can’t begin to describe the amount of diffrent emotions that goes through his head.
He’s happy! Of course he’s happy this is all he’s ever wanted, this is what he’s been looking forward to for the past three, four years? But then it hits him like the bus that hit Regina George, you remember everything
You remember that he left you to die during the mist of the red plague, that he wasn’t there for you, that he left you to die
He shuts down for a minute, dropping to his knees In the middle of the shop, clutching his heart, uncontrollably crying, what has he done what has he done what has he done what has he done
Please just run over to him and hold him, let him ride it out, tell him you still love him, that you’ll never leave him (like he left you) that its gonna be okay, no matter what terms you left off on, you’re still here, none of that matters any more
When he calms down he makes you both some tea and you talk over everything, before the plague, during the plague, even after the plague, while he holds you in his arms playing/braiding your hair
And afterwards, you both feel kind of refreshed, you head off to bed early that night, tired from crying, laughing, other things
And when he wakes up? You’re still there next to him, you don’t care about what happened in the past, you’re here now, and asra is finally realizing that, and now he’s just happy, happy you remember the old, and you get to remember the new
But if things didn’t go that smoothly? Asra would run off to nopal for a couple days to blow off some steam, to have some time alone to comprehend what the hell is going on, and when he comes back, he’s better....but things don’t seem to be the same.....
Nadia
Cancels all her plans, all her meetings, hell, she even considers canceling the masquerade even though it’s months away the only thing that matters right now is you
Asks you how you feel, do you need anything? Water, tea, maybe some golden goose? Anything you need will be at your hand within seconds of you asking for it, and now that you have everything.... tell her everything
She wants to know everything to your family, your realtor ship with asra, your opinions on Lucio, and more importantly if she’s a better leader or not, she won’t directly ask you (maybe she’ll ask if there is a couple things she still needs to improve on) but please let her know she’s doing a much better job now, and a better job than Lucio could EVER do, (countesses get self conscious too guys)
She’ll ask if you want to get back in touch with your family, and if you do, they’ll be at the palace by sunrise, if you don’t, she’ll ask why, then ask if you’re sure, then tell you to forget she ever asked in the first place (but does bring up inviting your family to the winter ball or masquerade)
The rest of the day is spent cuddling in bed, while eating fancy foods and talking about your family, your childhood, your old crushes, and trash talking Lucio, because now you remember even more about him, and you really wish you didn’t
Julian
He freezes for a moment, unsure on what to do- you remember everything? How? Are you okay, are you hurting, do you need to lay down?
Tells you to sit down while he makes you some tea and asks you some “very important” questions (as he calls them) like the basics; “does your head hurt? Are you dizzy, nauseous? No fever right? That’s good that’s good...”
Then starts asking more serious questions, like “what’s the earliest you remember. What’s you’re favorite memory? Your least? What was the latest memory you have, up until.... you know...”
And when you tell him it’s you, dying at the Lazaret, poor man goes paler than he already was, going uncharacteristically silent, then sputtering out every apology in the book (no matter what happens, I headcanon that asra, Lucio, and Julian still feel a tad bit responsible for your death.... I mean trauma doesn’t just go away over night...)
You have to constantly tell him that it’s okay, that it wasn’t his fault, and try to coax him out of his anxiety attack, and when you do get him out, he starts to realize that you forgive him, you remember and you forgive him. For everything he’s done. For lashing out on you, for leading you to you’re death (and anything else that happened in your canon) and you still forgive
He breaks down sobbing clutching in to you for dear life, now muttering thank you, not fully understanding why you still love a sapsucker like him, but here you are, holding him, petting his hair, telling him you love him, that it will be okay, that you’re hear for him. And he falls asleep in your arms, wherever you are, the clinic, the raven, his house, hell even mazelinkas, and doesn’t have any nightmares about your death, and after that day never does
But let’s say things didn’t go as planned? You didn’t comfort him, still holding a grudge or just uncomfortable at the ‘doctors’ sudden out burst,he starts to distance himself more, drinks out at the rowdy raven more, more overtime at work, more time at mazelinkas, more time away from you, not because he doesn’t love you, because he does, and you deserve better
Portia
“Wait really?! How!? Tell me everything thing- wait wait wait let me get comfortable first...”
INSTANITYLY builds a pillow fort, and starts barking orders at you (lovingly of course) to make some banana bread pudding, hot choclate or tea (what ever you prefer she’s not picky) and to bring her, her Good sweater, you know the one
Better get comfortable because you’re gonna be there for an hour or two, or three... you know what make that four or five- but all jokes aside She’s just so excited to finally be able to know your past! “Any past lovers I need to know about? And abusive ones, you can tell me babe, because next time I see them I promise I’ll whoop their-“
Wants to know about your family, and definitely would love to meet them, but if you left off on bad terms with your family, that’s okay! She’s waaaaay more interested in what Vesuvia was like before she came in the first place! She want to know about the flooded district, the shop, how bad of a ruler Lucio was- you know the basics!
She’ll also tell you about her past! About how stupid Ilya was as a kid, how she was in a kid gang, how she used to eat soap because it smelt nice-(and yes this is canon, via one of the old ask the arcanas) she’ll also ask you to teach her some Magick tricks you used to do as a kid, or some recipes you used to bake, or what ever your aprentince used to do (deffiently the most excited out of all of them)
Muriel
Oh cool
WAIT A MINUTE
Has a VERY delayed reaction, sometimes it just slips his mind that you can’t remember your past (and honestly prefers it that way) but none the less,He asks you if you want to talk about it, and you at no means have to, but I would be lying if I said he wasn’t the least bit interested, Muriel would be lying too.....he wants to know, he just doesn’t want to make you uncomfortable
If you are comfortable tell him EVERYTHING, your past crushes, your past friends, the goods, and the bads, he’ll sit you in his lap and listen to everything, and I mean EVERYTHING you have to say, and he will remember all the tiny details, including but not limited to: your first pets name, what you had for lunch nine years ago, your first crush who went to jail for horse theft and who is now a musician. He IS paying attention, even though you can SWEAR your starting hear him snore...this man hears everything. EVERYTHING
If you don’t bring up your family, he will ask about it, as of why you didn’t mention them? Did something happen? Do you want to talk about it? He won’t pry to much, and has a very good sense that your uncomfortable, and will leave it be, but it never really leaves his mind, so he might ask asra about it, and if something BAD happened definitely tells you he knows, and that he’s here for you.
But he does want to know this one thing more than anything else: how much do you remember from the coliseum? Now being that as of now atleast we don’t know how much the apprentice knows about the coliseum prior to them... y’know so this really depends on your apprentices back story so this conversation could go one of three ways
The first way is, you simply tell Muriel that you knew it was there but you never really participated in it, you never saw the fights, you never wanted to see the fights, and your glad you didn’t. And he can’t help the smile that forms on his lips
The second way is you tell Muriel that you did see the fights and you regret it, you wish you never did and your sorry. He doesn’t know how to react at first, but when he realizes your crying because of the guilt, he holds you a little tighter, kisses the top of your head, and says he believes you, and he still loves you. And you tell him you still love him
The third option,is your try to avoid the topic. But Muriel knows. And you know Muriel knows that you remember that you had to fight him on the coliseum, and that you barley escaped with your life, (if your apprentice didn’t die in there that is, and if they did? That’s angst for another day ;) ) you spend the night in each others arms crying, clutching on to each other and muttering apologies, telling each other that you still love eacother, that you never want that to happen again, and it won’t
Lucio
Well first thing he wants to know is how good of a ruler he was...”c’mon don’t be shy, you won’t hurt my- I WAS NOT A BAD RULER. I WAS THE BEST! I JUST MADE SOME.....SOME OOPSIES”
When he’s done throwing a ‘playful’ tantrum after you said he was a bad ruler...(I know it’s true, you know it’s true, even deep down Lucio knows it’s true, we need to stop sheltering him, he’s like ATLEAST in his early 40’s) he asks you what you remember, yeah yeah sure sure, your family and friends seem cool but do you remember all the awesome parties he threw! Which one was your favorite, and you have to pick only ONE (1) and list off your top ten favorite things from said party and THEN at THAT MOMENT you can move in and tell him about all the boring stuff
And if you tell him you never went to any of his trashy tacky flashy parties, you will NEVER forget the drastic look of disappointment that crosses his face “like do you really not go to any of them-“ but you may continue, but you have to promise him you’ll go to ALL of his new parties okay? They’re gonna be WAY cooler anyways
When you’re trying to tell him about all the cool adventures you had as a kid, or growing up or all the bad relationships you’ve been in, he makes it sort of a game to one up you, each story that HE tells gets a little more drastic and a little more....how do I say this nicely....unrealistic? He’s trying to listen he’s trying really hard, but he has the attention span of a golden retriever and honestly could care less about the boring stuff
Doesn’t remember much but buys you some of your old childhood toys that you mentioned (if your apprentice didn’t have any of that he’ll buy you some anyway “to make up for the lost time”as he puts it) but in reality it’s because he wants to try them out for himself (mama Morga didn’t let him play with toys as a kid she said it would make him weak) he finds most of them boring but for some reason is STILL trying to make the square block fit in the circle hole and won’t listen to you when you try to tell him otherwise
Thanks for reading!!!!! I tried to make sure every one could use their apprentice despite their past so hopefully I got close! Also to everyone who sent in arequest: thank you! I plan on doing one a day in the order that they got requested so the older ones don’t get buried in the void, but I just want you to know that I saw in and I’ll get to it in the next couple of days! Just please be paitent! Also...
Request are open :)
