Who do you ship Willy Wonka with?

Hello again! Omigosh yes- Aaaa the question of the ages!!

I am a huge advocate of Willy Wonka x his Chocolate Store/Factory-

Have you seen the way that man looks at his store? When he first laid eyes on it? What a beaut.

But all jokes aside, I actually don't really ship Mr. Wonka with anyone. Especially for Gene Wonka or Johnny Wonka- I feel like the both of them just really need a friend or two who shares their passion and love for their chocolate and their factory!

Timothée Wonka on the other hand...I've actually grown quite fond of him x Mr. Fickelgruber! I wouldn't know if it counts as shipping as I headcanon it to be one-sided. As in Felix having a massive crush on Willy but won't admit it...Which in turn gets Willy confused.

I think Felix really just needs to be more honest about his feelings. xD

i've so many issues with the new wonka (2023) movie that i could talk about them for hours, but the thing that bugs me the most atm is the fact that willy wonka is, in my viewing, not a character, it's a position, and this movie is, well, an origin story for a character.

“You are the new Willy Wonka of course!" was said in a West End production of a musical (that lost it's soul on Broadway), which means that Charlie Bucket is Willy Wonka, which means that the musical's Willy Wonka probably wasn't named Willy Wonka, but that was the name he got from the previous Willy Wonka.

Willy Wonk and the Chocolate Factory.

She replaces Charlie Bucket.

Instead of letting Wonka torture children for the mistakes of their parents, Athena gives us access to a detailed breakdown of all the children's psychological issues, and everybody cries and hugs it out.

She shames Willy Wonka for a solid thirty minutes for his treatment of psychologically fragile children, and we get a detailed breakdown of HIS psychology and why he's such an asshole.

It ends with Wonka crying and giving the factory to a reformed Veruca Salt who runs it very professionally after she's learned better ways of coping with her father's continued absence than demanding attention in the form of gifts.

More of my Mike Teavee headcanon look because. The Insanity. Also the eyebrow scar is because he had a fit of Gamer Rage™ and threw his controller, which ricocheted off the tv and hit him in the face. He did not learn any lesson from this.
