Red hot cherries
On a blazing fire
On a roof
Two men stand
They are wild
Young
Scared
One of them has everything but a gun
He cannot even wield it
He is too weak
A girl with a big heart
She waited
But nothing happened
So we left it.
~
The temptress
Ruins
The male mind
He knows he has statues
But nothing to wield them
He needs a counterpart
It will fall apart with her.

7 Tips to Writing Captivating Romance
How to Write Captivating Romance
Romance stories are, without a doubt, among the top and most addictive reads over platforms like Wattpad and Inkitt. They gain large audiences, usually drawing the most attention. So here are some tips to help you in creating just that kind of truly unforgettable love story that will capture your readers' hearts and keep them haunted if you really want to write something like that.
Creating Realistic Characters
Unique Personalities: Give them different personalities. Make them interesting by adding strengths, weaknesses, and unique backgrounds to make them all the more interesting. Their differences and how they fit together can be interesting.
Character Growth: Allow the due growing together and as individuals to happen. Show how they enable each other to become better human beings.
Build Real Chemistry
Take It Easy: Don't go pushing the romance. Let it grow slowly through shared experiences, meaningful conversations, and growing trust.
Fun and Tension: Add banter, misunderstandings, and tension to the relationship at times. It keeps things dynamic and interesting.
Add Meaningful Conflict
Challenges: Introduce problems that test the characters and their relationship. These may be personal problems, such as insecurities or past traumas, or external problems like different goals or societal pressures.
Working Through Issues: Depict the characters finding a way through these problems, making concessions to each other, and becoming stronger because of it. Obstacles make a romance more gratifying if overcome.
Focus on Emotions
Real Emotions: Write scenes that reveal character genuineness. Show what they are afraid of, or their hopes and vulnerabilities. Allow readers to feel their joy, sadness, and everything in between.
Quiet Moments: Incorporate quiet, personal moments where characters express thoughts and feelings. Such moments, just like big declarations of love, can be desirable.
Avoid Clichés
New Ideas: It is worth trying to avoid some of the very common romance clichés. One needs to think of ideas or plot twists that come as a surprise to readers.
Healthy Relationships: Be sure relationship is healthy and respectful. Steer clear of the romanticism of problem behaviors. Depict characters who communicate openly and show respect for each other's boundaries.
Draw from Real Life
Observation: Observe the world around you. Watch how people interact, what brings them together, and how they deal with problems. Realistic romance will be much more relatable for readers.
Keep the Story Moving
Balanced Pacing: The pacing of the romance has to be set against other elements of your story. A plot must move, and one has to make sure the romance fits organically into the narrative.
Bonus Tip: Add Little Details
Tiny details really do make all the difference. Maybe your character always brews the other person coffee in the morning, or maybe there is a special place they like to go together. It's these small touches that will make the romance feel real and make readers relate.

Okay, seriously, I need to rant. 😤 So, like, I found these AMAZING stories on Archive of Our Own, right? Like, mind-blowing, heart-wrenching, totally-better-than-any-movie-ever stories! And then… nothing. Just… poof. Gone. Like, the authors just vanished into thin air. Years have passed, and they're still stuck on cliffhangers! CLIFFHANGERS, PEOPLE!
I'm talking about stories with, like, the most epic character development, the most intense plot twists, and the most beautiful, heart-stopping, tear-jerking moments! And now they're just… unfinished. It's like leaving a cupcake half-eaten! It's a CRIME!
So, to all the amazing authors out there who have abandoned their masterpieces: I'm talking to YOU! Please, PLEASE, come back! Finish your stories! The world needs to know what happens next! We're all on the edge of our seats! We're begging you! 🥺
I know life gets busy, and inspiration can be fickle, but think of all the readers who are waiting! Think of all the unresolved plotlines! Think of all the potential for more amazing moments! Don't let your stories die! They deserve to be finished!
And to everyone else: if you have any unfinished stories you love, tag the authors! Let's band together and bring these stories back to life! We can do it! 💪✨

10 Effective Ways to Break Through Writer's Block
Are you staring at a blank page, the cursor mocking your inability to come up with that perfect line or captivating story arc? As authors and songwriters, writer's block is an all-too-familiar adversary that can leave us feeling frustrated and uninspired. Fear not, for we have compiled 10 actionable steps to help you break through writers block to access that creative barrier and reclaim your writing spark!
Step 1: Change Your Environment
Sometimes a change of scenery is all you need to stimulate fresh ideas. Head to a coffee shop, park, or even just a different room in your house to ignite your creativity.
Step 2: Freewrite without Judgment
Allow your thoughts to flow freely without the burden of perfectionism. Set a timer and write without pause, letting your ideas unravel without self-criticism.
Step 3: Seek Inspiration
Engage with different forms of art, music, or nature to spark new ideas and perspectives that can breathe life into your writing.
Step 4: Break Down Your Goals
Divide your writing task into smaller, manageable goals. Focus on completing one paragraph, stanza, or verse at a time to prevent overwhelm.
Step 5: Take a Break
Sometimes the best way to overcome writer's block is to step away from your work. Go for a walk, meditate, or engage in a different activity to give your mind a rest.
Step 6: Experiment with Prompts
Use writing prompts to kickstart your creativity. You'll be surprised by the directions your writing can take when given a simple starting point.
Step 7: Collaborate with Fellow Writers
Connect with other authors and songwriters to share ideas, receive feedback, and collaborate on projects. A fresh perspective can provide the creative boost you need.
Step 8: Read and Listen Widely
Immerse yourself in different genres, styles, and voices. Reading books and listening to music outside your comfort zone can expand your creative horizons.
Step 9: Establish a Routine
Create a writing schedule and stick to it. Consistency breeds creativity, and having a dedicated time for writing can help train your mind to be more productive.
Step 10: Embrace Imperfection
Remember that the first draft is just that – a draft. Allow yourself to write poorly, knowing that you can always revise and improve later. Perfection is the enemy of progress.
By incorporating these 10 actionable steps into your writing routine, you can power through writer's block and reignite your passion for crafting compelling writing and lyrics. Embrace the challenges, celebrate the victories, and let your creativity flow freely. You've got this!
So, the next time writer's block rears its head, arm yourself with these strategies and watch as your words dance effortlessly across the page. Happy writing, authors and songwriters – the world is waiting to be inspired by your creations.

I just want to thank everyone who is following me here! ❤️ It means a lot to me. This is the first platform I used to share my writings after years of being in trauma, because my teachers in highschool never liked any of the things I wrote & even made fun of them. :((
I kept a journal instead and didn't let anyone read what I wrote. 'Til one day I found the courage to share them here by going anomymous. Your responses left me speechless and gave me the strength to keep on writing. *teary-eyed* I now have 2 blogs aside from this and I am working on my book. All glory to God. 🙌
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!
I want to be active here again, so if you have any questions or prayer requests, feel free to message me.
You can also follow me on Instagram @heartsnottroubled (I'll follow back) so I can connect with you guys.
I pray that God fills your heart with faith, love, joy, peace and kindness.
No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:15‭-‬16

Today is coming out day. No one should have to hide. Sadly, some feel they do because of hate, intolerance, or the fear of rejection from family and friends. I hope more and more people can free themselves from the intolerance of others and be true to themselves. ♥✌🌈-AKC #writerscommunity #writersmatter #dreamersanddoers #equalitycantwait #empath #writersvisionsmatter #hopeindarkness #wearereal #weareinthistogether #genderequality #diversityandinclusion #bebravebeyou #Writeon #Writeaboutit #createinclusion #bethechangeyouwanttosee #creativewriting #loveisforeveryone💙💚💛❤️💜 #riseabove #irise #Unlimitedpwerinunity #writeforfreedom #selfexpression #createhope #unconditionallove #freetobeme #rebelwriters #rebelheart https://www.instagram.com/p/CGOZ_LZjZtw/?igshid=sq5113bgelqk

My favorite book never got published
Because the author gave up on themselves.
My favorite book never got published,
Because the author felt it unworthy of the shelves.
My favorite book never got published,
Because the author surrendered their dreams.
And I'll never know it was my favorite book,
Because it was never allowed to be seen.
~~~~~~~~~~
Behind every book is an author who had a fear of failure.
Behind every missing book is an author who let their fear of failure win.
If you thought of putting down your pen, I hope this helped to keep it in your hand. You have a story to tell. You have a reader waiting for their favorite book. ~ A. F. Lamonte
