im a bit catastrophic autism level about characters having missing memories that they cant reach but know are meant to be there, i have a dnd character in a really similar situation!! i just love the feelings of frustration and horror... which memories and thoughts can you even trust? if memories can be removed can they be added?? what do you really know??? its the best for real poor ns

I KNOWWWW I FUCKING LOVE THAT CONCEPT SO MUCH!!!!! just that feeling of something being out of your reach. something you Know but can’t Remember. i love how i put it: like walking into a mall in the middle of the weekend and seeing that it’s empty. because you know it should be full of people. you know what should be there. but there’s nothing. no matter how much you look, there’s nothing, there’s nobody. it’s frustrating and horrifying and and (explodes in autism)

SHAKING HANDS #SERIOUSLY LOVE THE CONCEPT SO BADLY #i really wanted that specific feeling of being so traumatized by something. but you cant fully remember what it is #you Know something awful has happened to you. you have a sort of vague idea of what it might be. you even have a suspicion of who might’ve #done it because when you look at them you feel . bad. because the body remembers #but you can’t fully remember what exactly happened or why or who did it. all you have are those weird fleeting moments that you can’t fully #make sense of. puzzle pieces that don’t quite fit #i thought it might be interesting for an iterator considering they are both organic *and* a machine! logically if they were just a fully #inorganic machine then they wouldn’t be able to tell that something has even happened. they’d just be repogrammed and forget and that’s it.#but i really wanted to consider that aspect of the *body* remembering. of iterators being semi-organic. How would that entire removing #memories process feel when you’re still aware and conscious and *alive*? do u get what im saying #it’s just aughhh so interesting to me. i rly hope i’ve been portraying it well #cramswering

You don't wish your disability was worse or more visible, you wish your disability was taken seriously. Please stop confusing the two, I guarantee you would not get the support you need JUST by being more severe or more visible. Please listen to visibly disabled people when we tell you it isn't better on our side

#m/cc #mine #I tried extremely hard to word this nicely because I KNOW people don't mean bad and often even know there are unique challenges #and believe me I know the challenges of invisible disability too!!#I have invisible disabilities!#but as someone who has also been at least visibly 'off' since they were 10 I am SO SICK of invisible disabilities being hailed as like #a unique extra oppression that us lucky visibly disabled people don't have to deal with #there are challenges to invisible disabilities that visibly disabled people DON'T have to deal with!#but you need to understand that *the reverse is also true*#there are MASSIVE benefits to being able to lie about your disability for example #or not dealing with the overt ableism that comes with your disability being obvious to everyone #*I do not have the option to pretend I'm not disabled.* that is never an option I have #I walk weirdly. I use a mobility aid now. my speech and face are 'off.' I lean to one side #for a long time I wore sunglasses 24/7 and often didn't make sense. I sometimes can't speak or won't react to others #for the most part people will always know that at the very least something is wrong with me #and more obviously I have people telling me they'll pray for me; telling me I can't do things I'm already in the process of doing;#wanting to shake my hand to tell me I'm an inspiration for not killing myself; giving me dirty looks for existing in public #and yes. I'm aware that this is very much an in-community issue. I know the average abled person doesn't know invisible disabilities exist #that's why there's so much awareness happening for it #but as a visibly disabled person I get SO TIRED of constantly hearing 'I wish my disability was visible :'('#it's just 'I wish I had your disability!' but from other disabled people

#my hands are still shaking to be quite honest i could not put a lot of effort into this.#but like. brain. why did you do that #literally i have been like hopelessly obsessed with de nonstop thinking abt it for the past couple of days it is Scaring me #it is terminal its soooo fucking chronic #disco elysium #kim kitsuragi #for anyone who wants to know i bumped into some guys car that was stopped for a school bus. i think my brain errored and thought #my foot was fully pressing down on the brake pedal but it wasnt.#i am like 99.99 percent sure neither of us had any major damage to our cars but we still filed a police report just in case #because insurance do be a bitch. dudes back bumper was scratched lightly and my front license plate has a dent now #also literally my first ever car accident that ive had ever yippee yay

guess what you guys… I MET NANA YESTERDAY 😭😭😭 she’s actually the sweetest

I was cosplaying Niners Kira, and before it was even my turn she turned to look at me and went “Niners!!”

She complimented my cosplay so much it instantly made all of the time and effort I put into the costume worth it😭I was also kind of insecure about my nose ridges made of scar wax but one of the first things she pointed out was my nose and said I did a good job which took me out immediately (I went “it was hard!!” and she said “I KNOW”😭)

I brought my copy of her book for her to sign and she was so excited to see I had it (there were so few trekkies at this con it was SHAMEFUL)

one thing about my book tho is the cover got put on upside down… and so before I give it to her to sign I tell her my copy is ✨unique✨ and show her how it’s flipped and she just went :o

then took a video of my book to send her editor😭😭 she was like I need them to know this happened!!

and what I’m still absolutely losing it about is that she asked if she could have the con staff with her take a picture of us on Her phone so she could post it. WHAT. WHATTTTTT NANA VISITOR HAS A PICTURE OF ME ON HER PHONE NOW😭😭😭😭😭😭(she hasn’t posted anything yet and I’m really holding back from obsessively checking) (even if she doesn’t end up posting it I will forever be losing it at the fact she liked my cosplay so much she wanted her own picture)
