I seriously PRAY for you if you have him after you, it's like you've received a death contract from the devil himself. One thing you cannot deny when it comes to him is his determination, when he's set out to do something, he WILL get it done, including of course, stalking you and finding out everything about you. You could either meet him in school when you both are in the same class, you make the unfortunate mistake of standing up for him when he's getting bullied and picked on by the other people and ever since then he decides to know everything about you. It's like the heavens itself sent him an angel, just for him. He lives in his own deluded little fantasy world where you belong to him 

Don't worry if you didn't get the memo, you'll get it soon enough right after he finishes ensuring that silly chemistry partner of yours disappears for good. Male or female, he doesn't give a damn. He doesn't like it when other people are too close to you for his liking. He got absolutely infuriated with that teacher pairing you with someone else other than him, how DARE that happen? You BELONG to him, his mind was working in overdrive, churning with less than savory and unpleasant thoughts but he still maintained his usual calm and stoic manner with his fake smile plastered across his smug face. I'm telling you, this guy is WAY WORSE than a serial killer, he'll have his own sadistic pleasure and fun toying with the person he's after and send the rest of the workers after that poor schmuck where Mandeok will resort to punching them in the face till they're knocked out cold and bloodied on the ground

If you're one of the Worker's and a part of the organization, he doesn't want you finding out about the dark secrets of the organization. He'll specifically warn the others to keep their mouths shut around you and anyone else who dares to slip something by mistake or accident, well... they'll be found dead in the next hour or so. He does NOT want his reputation getting tarnished in your eyes, you do mean a lot to him and he holds you in the highest regard even if he does want you chained up to his bed and be by his side at all times. He gets jealous really fast too but he doesn't really show it outside, he's managed to keep a check and control of his emotions. He'll have that unnerving fake smile plastered across his face as his eyes narrow coldly and he'll give a slight nod to his right hand man Mandeok to deal with the pest which he'll comply 

If you think he won't have files and files of information on you, you're mistaken. He'll send his brother Yuseong after you to find out more about you and he'll make him report EVERY single thing that you in your life, he feels like he's getting a glimpse into the window of your life and he'll use every single bit of information to his own advantage to pull the strings to manipulate you into getting you to be his since that's the kind of guy he is. He's really not above installing secret cameras in your own house either, he'll have a large storage of videos of you along with all your passwords, your search history...everything. When he does his research for you, he leaves no stone untouched, no possibility unchecked 

The other day Mitsuki made a slight joke of you competing in the circus and he almost blew a fuse and was on the verge of forgetting his politeness and was ready to strangle her. His eyes narrowed at her coldly as he spoke "Mitsuki... I do hope you did not forget your position here. You might be the President of the worker's second Affiliate but I am the chairman. Any more unsavory thoughts on the one I intend to pursue...let me assure you that the consequences for you will be dire'' he said in an ominous tone as his expression darkened at her. Mitsuki had no choice but to keep herself from spewing insults at him because he was right. Despite Eugene having a sadistic streak and persona inside him, he doesn't actually want to see you physically getting hurt. He'd rather resort to mind games and emotional manipulation instead of seeing you get hurt physically 

Look, he cares for you in his own twisted way. I'd say you'll be kidnapped by him after a week or two weeks. You'll wake up on a fancy bed with lush and posh furniture around as he enters the room and he'll caress your cheek with a sickly lovesick obsessive look in his eyes. "I'm so glad you're awake sweetheart...there'll be some new changes to your life now. You'll be mine now and there are some rules you'll have to follow'' he said. After your initial hysteria and panicking and demands to be set free, he'll just chuckle softly at you and look at you with an endearing look on his face like you just said something cute and adorable to him. "Let you go, darling, don't be silly...it's a dangerous world out there, I'm doing this to keep you safe. You wouldn't want to make me mad now do you...'' he said as he stared at you in amusement while he could see your will power and determination crumbling slightly as the moment passes by. He would be lying if he didn't like how helpless and scared and vulnerable you looked, on the contrary he actually enjoyed it 

He's going to enjoy breaking you and shaping you like a clay doll that'll obey his every word and wish. The only thing that's keeping you from loving him is your own self which he'll obviously has to deal with. He'll use your family and friends against you and each time you have tears streaming down your face he'll coo at you with mock sympathy and kiss your cheeks and dry your tears. He can't believe he has you in his arms, where you rightfully belong. For the love of god and your sanity, don't even think of trying to escape from him. You do NOT know to what extent he will go through to make your life hell. He'll have you dragged back by his brother Yuseong without saying a word and for the first time, even that fake smile of his disappeared and he'll give you a cold look which will fill you with a sense of dread for what's about to happen 

"This is for your own good darling...you need to learn you NEED me in your life'' he said as you'll be locked in a room and tied to the bed with silk ropes. He doesn't want to hurt you after all. But at the same time he also kind of does so...say goodbye to your friends and family I guess. Don't be too sad when you see their missing or dead bodies on the news channels the next day as he'll whisper in your ear how the whole thing could have been prevented had you not acted like a brat. He does have his soft moments with you at times. He likes talking to you about your day or about anything basically. He likes to spoil you with gifts and forehead kisses and cheek kisses too and pat you on the head like you're some kind of pet when you don't scream at him for 5 whole days. He also likes having you on his lap during his work and he WANTS people to know you're his and you belong to him, that way no one would have the guts to mess with him 

It's not like you can ask someone for help either, all the Workers are strictly loyal to him which makes sense since he IS the chairman after all. Yuseong will be your secret bodyguard, always watching your every move and snitching on you when he feels like you might plan to leave his brother. He would even resort to drugging you or sedating you to make you nice and pliant and obedient for him till your thoughts are occupied of him and only him...he's going to make you his in every way possible...

Turns out Eugene had lied. Well, you still weren’t sure of it but when he had told you his brother awaited for you downstairs if you did decide to run but he had you handcuffed to the couch for a few hours now so it didn’t make sense for him to still be waiting. However, considering your binds it was unlikely you could do anything about it anyway.

Eugene was sat next to you, flipping through one of the Manila folders from his cabinet. He seemed to be in a good mood. He had a small smile on his face as he hummed a tune to himself. He snapped the folder shut, making you jump slightly but harden your glare as your eyes dart across the room.

“Oh don’t look like that, you still haven’t even answered my question.”

“I don’t see the need to” You snapped at him, shifting your glare back at him. Eugene chuckled, shaking his head “(y/n) it’s simple. How long have you been in contact with Jake Kim?”

“I’m sure you already know the answer to that” you spat at him, scrunching up your nose “how about we just cut to the chase-just send me off like all your traitorous enemies. Because I’m sure as hell not working for you.”

Eugene leaned forward, resting the Manila folder on the table before turning to you and resting his hand on your thigh. You tensed up from the touch, trying to shift a little further from him but he took this chance to move closer to you, his free hand reaching out for yours. “You’re not going anywhere all those fools were sent to. You’re a bit more…special to me.” His smile sent a shiver down your spine, realizing between the handcuff and Eugene’s slowly tightening grip on your other hand, you weren’t going to escape anytime soon.

“I’m certain you’d think I’m crazy, which I understand. I’m sure you’re so scared” what concerned you more was that big grin staying on his face as he narrowed his eyes at you “which is fine. You will be scared for a while I’m sure” he lifted you up with surprise ease as he shifted under you to pull you into his lap. His arms wrapped around your waist as he rested his chin on your shoulder, your body entirely tense. You had no idea how you were supposed to react to this behavior, Eugene never showed himself to be even a little bit of an affectionate person yet here he is. You’d assumed he’d have killed you by now for what you knew and did. “You still haven’t answered my question” He suddenly tightened his arms around you, making you wince and tense up more

“What-uh-what question?” You panicked a little as Eugene snorted “how long have you been in contact with Jake Kim. It’s a simple question. I just want to know how long you’ve betrayed me.”

He hummed seeming to think of an idea “how about you tell me your answer and I’ll tell you exactly what’s happening to Big Deal at this moment” you can practically feel the grin on his face as he said that, making your blood run cold. “What did you do?!” You tried to turn to look at him but he only held you tighter “Nuh uh. I want you to tell me how long you’ve been in contact with them. And then I’ll tell you.” You gritted your teeth at his words, you didn’t want to give in but you needed to know that Big Deal would be ok.

Part of you didn’t want to know his forbid they weren’t.

What did it matter you’re pretty sure he knew the answer anyway “since the second affiliate.” You said quietly and Eugene nodded “I see, so around the same time he reacquainted with Sinu as well.” He clicked his tongue and you frowned, glaring at the ground.

“Tell me what you did to them.”

“Oh I didn’t do anything” he said matter of factor and you let out a sigh of relief, relaxing a little until he opened his mouth again “I’ve sent Eli hang and the rest of the workers to take care of them. They will all be arrested by the time the fight is over. I knew Jake Kim planned to jump me before that happened however I left a decoy. And when he still tried sending backup to collect me at my safe house, I had a little mouse to deal with first” his smile began to grow again and tears welled up in your eyes. If Jake could’ve stopped him knowing he would head to his home first…

You shouldn’t have tried to stick around for more information.

Eugene chuckled and kissed at your cheek, turning your anger into disgust as your fear began to rise. He still hadn’t said how he was going to deal with you.

“You still seem oh so scared. What’s wrong?” He cooed, rubbing circles into your thigh. You hate the fact he seemed to be enjoying your fear “what do you plan to do with me then.” You snapped, trying to sound more confident than you actually did

“Hmm. Probably keep you here.” He leaned up, kissing your temple “with me. I know you won’t love me back just yet but overtime you’ll learn to. For your own good” he reached up, brushing back a bit of your hair and completely stopping any thought you had.

Love him back?

“What the fuck are you talking about” you blurted, making Eugene chuckle again “I’m not sure exactly. There’s something about you that just…interests me so much. It’s almost become an obsession” he twirled a lock of your hair around his finger as he spoke “it pained me surprisingly a lot to find out you were working with Jake Kim.” He stopped his twirling, making you tense up. He reached to your sides and lifted you up again to let himself up. He grabbed the key and unlocked the cuff keeping you to the couch and grabbed your wrist giving you a grin “Cmon. Since I’m not sure if you showed yourself our bedroom yet let me show you that and exactly how I felt when I found out you betrayed me.”

Han Yoojin who is completely and hopelessly in love with the Seseong guild leader. All he really wants to do is to monopolise Seong Hyeonje but there is no way for him to properly subjugate the S-class.

Of course, that doesn't stop hyj from trying.

Would shj have his head off if he fails?

It would still be worth it, he thought.

What hyj is painfully unaware of is the fact that shj is just as obsessed with him if not even more.

And so shj lets it happen, when the S-class chains, his own specialty, wrap around his body, he doesn't fight it.

At first he is merely amused, what could his Han Yoojin be up to this time?

As he eventually realises that the younger is trying to lock him up, something in him lights up. He had always been possessive of Han Yoojin, but maybe being someone else's possession wasn't that bad either.

Hyj is expecting it to go bust at any moment, if not for his fear resistance, his head might've exploded from the worry.

What he wasn't expecting was waking up in the morning to the smell of pancakes and shj in his kitchen trying to find syrup in the cabinets, greeting hyj with a warm smile once he notices his captor.

The golden chains binding shj's legs are still there.

Oh god I can’t wait until the manhwa catches up with the next part of the novel. They just alluded to it in the last chapter (51) and I cannot wait to see it drawn out!!

Loved that scene in the webnovel. Yoojin suddenly disappearing on Yoohyun like that, although unintentionally, was such a shock to him. My guy was shook. It really gives you a deep look into Yoohyun’s current mental state and how messy his thoughts are. The poor kid really has had to deal with too much up until this point that a break like this was going to come eventually, but it’s Yoohyun so he’s gonna go about it in a Really Fun Way. 

Up until this point his hyung has 1. awakened, but as an F-rank, 2. had an S-rank boss monster appear in the first D-rank dungeon he entered, 3. gained a unique S-rank skill 4. had information on this skill released to the public, 5. BEEN KIDNAPPED right in Haeyeon, 6. found out his hyung was hiding something from him, 7. strange things keep happening around him (Chirpie), and FINALLY 8. after entering another dungeon he nigh immediately disappears right before his eyes.

Yoohyun was very rightfully due for a little explosion. His hyung literally can’t stop getting into trouble. 

Yoojin after talking with the system admins like: wait a minute how much time passed???

Him coming back to the dungeon and seeing literally the whole thing burnt to a crisp, all the forests reduced to ash. 

Yoohyun, relieved but also pissed as hell, coming for him like: oh my fucking god hyung. He’s so angry with his brother but really he has been so, SO worried this whole time but he couldn’t tell Yoojin that before.

Cannot wait until Yoohyun tries to fake Yoojin’s death. “I’m just gonna rip off one or two limbs, gotta make it believable. Here’s a painkiller though. Don’t worry, it won’t hurt.”

And then Yoojin telling Yoohyun the real rank of his skills and Yoohyun being like: *white knuckle grip* *inhale deep breath* …..so it is gonna hurt but I’ll make it quick.

Been reading My S-Class Hunters, and so far really enjoying it! But that one rec post very much gives the impression that Yoojin is a complete cinammon roll. He sort of is, but he's also definitely not. Spoilers!

He's got shades of Dokja Kim-esque cynically manipulating the power of friendship while also, simultaneously, being incredibly loyal and caring about these people in the depths of his soul. His superpower is I love you! ....aaaaand he accepts the idea that that superpower involves a teensy weensy bit of minor mind control.

He bankrupted himself trying to become powerful, and there's still a desire for power and glory in him. His promise to live a quiet life after turning back time lasts less than thirty seconds.

His yandere brother insists that Yoojin must never know that he killed one of the people responsible for kidnapping Yoojin... meanwhile Yoojin is melting several of the other kidnappers into goo so that there's not enough corpse left for Yerim to read the dead person's memories.

He's really super adorable most of the time, he's really very caring, and he puts the safety of the world above his own interests even if he doesn't get credit. But he has a dark side for sure.

have you already read the s classes that I raised? it has a platonic yandere (yoohyun)

I have seen it update every now and then, but I never read it (normally I don't read those kinds of webcomics) until now. It's actually very good and seems to focus a lot on found family as well as video game logic, and the pacing and characters are all very good. It's been a while since I've read one with a platonic yandere, and while for the most part his yandere moments seem comedic, he does have genuine moments with his brother.

The story starts out introducing the concept of dungeons and class ranks, with doors opening up in the world making monsters jump in, and at the same time, people start to awaken into different tiers, gaining different powers at different ranks. Han Yoojin at the time was working to help support his younger brother when the dungeons open up, revealing that his brother, Han Yoohyun is a S rank while Yoojin is a F rank (the lowest rank). Things go from bad to worse with Yoohyun suddenly pushes his brother away, seemingly abandoning him after he became S Rank. To try to figure out why his brother abandoned him, Yoojin goes to join the guild, however, it seems that no matter what he does, everyone around him dies. His ability is a support ability allowing him to influence others around him as well as a special ability that allows him to gain double of the person he's influenced, but only after they die. In the dungeon, his team suddenly encounters a S Rank Dragon that slaughters his entire team. Before he is about to be killed by the dragon, Yoohyun jumps and and protects his brother, dying in the process. As a result, Yoojin gains his power and kills the dragon, gaining a ton of different skills, including a crystal that grants him a wish. Because he can't revive his brother, he uses it instead to go back in time to the moment when his brother leaves. This time, he's able to prevent his brother from leaving, and we learn that Yoohyun left because he wanted to protect his brother, as many people would often go after S Ranks because of their fame and power- even trying to prevent Yoojin from even going into dungeons. However, this time, Yoojin is able to convince Yoohyun to help him build his guild. At this point, Yoohyun becomes incredibly protective, to the point of even trying to cage up the apartment. Yoojin promises to be careful and find S Classes for him, but only after Yoohyun assigns him a bodyguard. From there he finds and recruits Bak Yerim, a middle schooler who is being taken advantage of by her uncle until Yoojin saves and influences her into being an S class. Yerim is extremely grateful to be out of this situation and promises to do her best for Yoojin and the guild. Yoojin also hires another F rank, Yoo Myeongwoo, a person that eventually ends up being a blacksmith. Yoojin also gains Peace, a high rank beast that he's able to tame thanks to his talent and eventually becomes well known in the Guild as the beast tamer, something that is exceedingly rare. At some point, him and Peace are kidnapped, which lead to the guild looking for him. Yoojin is able to tame a beast while there which he gains his powers for (unfortunately, the beast dies) and reunites with Peace before being saved by the guild. Yoohyun gains suspicion over Yoojin because of one of his powers (I believe it was his poison resist) that prevented him from being poisoned by the gang members. Soon after, Myeongwoo is able to awaken as a S rank. Yoojin gets interactions from the system itself (the beings that give humans the rankings) and finds out that his Caretaker ability is exceedingly rare, and only occurs if a natural S rank is considers them a caretaker (aka Yoohyun). Because Yoojin keeps sneaking out to dungeons and seems to be hiding something from him, Yoohyun becomes excessively paranoid and especially so when the System pulls him out of the dungeon to talk to him. When he comes back, Yoohyun is so worried that he's essentially destroyed the entire dungeon and decides to cut off Yoojin's arm to essentially trap him in the house and keep an eye on him, so that no one can hurt him. He seems pretty hellbent on doing this at least until Yoohyun reveals what happened in the previous world, with his powers, his connection to the system and the goal of raising 100 S Classes. He's able to calm down afterwards and the last couple of chapters are related to Yoojin gaining more beasts for him to raise.

I skipped over a lot of parts, like Myeongwoo's arc, other characters like the Researcher lady, other S Classes in the guild and the Dokkaebi ( created by the dungeon from a Dokkaebi mask) as well as the two different suspicious natural ranked S members, because while they are important to the story, in terms of framing the yandere, it's not quite as important.

That being said, I really enjoyed this story so far. I think it has a good balance of serious and funny moments. Like I said, all of the characters are interesting in their own rights with their own strengths, weaknesses and insecurities. Yoojin really does feel like a caretaker since he cares immensely for those around him and often is the one who helps them grow as both a S Rank as well as a person. While his general goal is to live a happy life with little worries, he also takes care of those around him, trusts in his team (trusting in Myeongwoo despite him constantly feeling useless and his own brother despite the rumors of what he did to get to S class) and is overall just a generally kind person. He's pretty smart as well, keeping himself perceived as an S Rank, making strong connections to people and promoting his skill of beast taming, using his memory of the future to get the best possible results.

Yoohyun on the other hand is generally sort of in and out of the series. While he is a very important part of it (the reason why Yoojin survives, goes back in time and even gains his caretaker powers) he is absent in a lot of arcs or is not as important. Mostly his role is to be the money bag and be protective of his brother, since we follow Yoojin for the most part. He has a rivalry with Bak Yerim because of their status as both S Ranks (both are pretty protective over Yoojin) and Yoojin is actually raising Peace for his brother's sake despite the fact that the two don't really seem to get along. It's explained that Yoohyun's tendency of protecting Yoojin (the trying to cage him in the house, removing his limbs, etc) comes from the fact that he's S Rank, and more specifically because he's a natural born S Rank (one that when awakened immediately went to S). Like I said though, most of his yandere habits give the impression of being an overprotective yandere, which makes sense because Yoojin essentially raised Yoohyun (which is why it feels like their dynamic is closer to parent and son rather than brothers, though he has the tendency to have this parental affect on everyone because of his caretaker status) and Yoohyun wants to keep him safe. We can even see this because of the reasoning he initially shunned Yoojin in the first place - as a way to keep him protected from being associated with an S Rank and to prevent him from getting hurt in dungeons. After that he basically goes the completely other way and attempts to cage him, which is always really funny.

But yeah, its really good, I would recommend reading it, if not for the yandere, but for the story itself.

i don't even remember her name but i will always be mad about how commenters on the site i first read sctir on hated on that one girl for siding with what's his face. noah's? sister instead of listening to yoojin. like yeah it's frustrating cause we know the sister sucks and we're on yoojin and noah's side but like that girl's powers depend on a dragon she's been waiting an entire life for a dragon to come along so she can actual live up to her potential. can you blame her for listening to what the powerful manipulative hot dragon lady tells her to do? not to mention all the comments were calling her a bitch for not listening to yoojin as if all the comments on all the other chapters go crazy when yoohyun doesn't listen to what yoojin tells him. no yoohyunnie hate i love yoohyun also but like. i will not forgive you for calling the dragon rider powers girl a bitch for not listening to some random weak dude because she wants to ride a dragon if you're gonna think it's soooo cute when yoohyun gets possessive and locks his brother up in their apartment despite him telling him multiple times not to be weird. especially if you're one of the freaks that call yoohyun a yandere and ask if we're sure the novel isn't a bl even though they are brothers...............

Two psychopaths in the entire series lol, far worse than serial killers

You felt like you were going insane and losing your mind trapped with Hangyul and Eugene, you despised them for stealing you from your life and your family. You regretted the day you ever met them and if you could change the time and course of your actions, you'd do that but unfortunately, the time and tide doesn't wait for anyone. You hated the way how Eugene and Hangyul coordinated with each other and found out everything about you and even had Eugene's brother Yuseong spy on you and give them daily updates on what happened in your life. By the time you found out about the secret cameras they installed in your room and in your own house, you felt sick to the core. You felt like screaming and slapping them across the face for doing something that repulsive to you. You knew it would be a stupid idea to contact the police, you knew what these psychopaths were capable of and the last thing you needed was for them to ruin your life further. Even though you found out what Hangyul Baek did in his hospital and found out about his secret of trapping people in cells where they never saw the light of day again, sometimes you felt like that would be a far better option than having to endure Eugene and Hangyul on a daily basis

You got down from the bed and walked into the living room, the dim lights and opulent furniture along with the beige walls and the carpets would have given you a homely feeling and looked aesthetically pleasing to the eye since you remembered saving tons of pins like this on your Pinterest boards, you had no idea how far these lunatics would go and they actually ended up furnishing the living room to your liking. You'd honestly be flattered if you weren't kidnapped and if you didn't feel like a freaking hostage. You looked around the room cautiously trying to detect any movement as you heaved a soft sigh of relief to yourself. Those lunatics weren't around, perhaps you could try leaving. You mapped out an escape route for yourself, the door was a bad idea since it had a digital lock that could only be opened from the outside and no doubt they both used some kind of high tech level security to prevent you from opening the door. The window was a no go for you as well since they were smart enough to have iron bars on the windows. But the balcony was a good shot, you knew there was a ledge down the balcony and if you could just manage to get down to the ledge and be a bit careful in climbing the pipeline to the ground, you'd be able to escape! You felt an adrenaline rush course through your veins as you felt a surge of excitement, something you hadn't felt in since a long time and you rushed to the balcony door and tried to open it but no avail. You grumbled under your breath and looked around for a way to break open the balcony door, unaware of the secret cameras that were watching your every move and action. The walls did indeed have eyes and ears

"How adorable, she's trying to escape'' said Hangyul as he chuckled and showed the footage of you trying to open the balcony door on his laptop to Eugene who had an amused smirk plastered across his face. The both of them shared the same look of malice glinting in their eyes and the way they had a sadistic smirk on their faces as they watched you trying to open the balcony door of fruitlessly. "What a naive little thing she is...she doesn't know we're watching her every move. But I'm rather hurt you know, we did so much for her and yet she feels like running away like the naughty little girl she is'' said Eugene as he sighed and had an expression of mock sadness on his face. "You don't actually think she'll leave...do you?" asked Hangyul as he looked at Eugene with a stoic look on his face. Eugene simply chuckled and shook his head. "You have the habit of worrying too much...but she won't. We won't allow that to happen... and our little sweetheart needs to know about the consequences of her actions as well'' said Eugene as his smile disappeared and a dark look crossed his face. Hangyul's expression darkened as he narrowed his eyes at the mere thought of you escaping from them, a thought both of them never wanted to entertain. Now that the very thought of you wanting to leave them was forming in your head, they had to squash it and nip it in the bud before it would get too out of hand. "Let's give our little sweetheart a surprise visit'' winked Hangyul as Eugene let out an amused chuckle as the both of them were on their way back to the residence where you lived with them

Meanwhile you were still trying to find something to break open the balcony door with so you could escape. After a few moments of fumbling around, you finally managed to get the balcony's sliding door open as you heaved a sigh of relief and you peered downwards to see if it would be safe for you to jump. It wasn't too steep but wasn't exactly too close either, you could manage, you just had to be careful. The last thing you needed was for you to end up with a broken ankle or some broken bones which would prevent you from escaping from these psychopaths who held you hostage for so long that you lost your sense of time. You entered the balcony area and as soon as you got ready to jump, you felt a strong pair of arms wrap around your waist and pull you back inside as another hand closed the balcony door shut again and you felt the hope die inside you. You were so close, yet so hopelessly far away from your freedom. You looked at Eugene and Hangyul with a resentful expression on your face as they both stared back at you with cold and stern expressions, their usual smirks long gone

"Why would you attempt to do such a foolish thing, my dear?' asked Eugene, his voice was soft yet his tone and the look on his face indicated that he wasn't playing games with you at the moment. "You're quite the foolish little thing you know...you could have gotten hurt. We're supposed to take care of you and love you and this is what you do. You need some disciplining sweetheart'' said Hangyul as he stared at you with his soul piercing stare which sent shivers and chills down your spine. The fact that they weren't smiling anymore indicated that they were really pissed off and you felt a cold sense of dread settle inside you. "I...I wanted some fresh air'' you mumbled lamely as you fidgeted nervously. You mentally cursed yourself for uttering such a silly excuse, you felt like you should have come up with something better but the severity of the situation didn't ease your nerves

"Tsk tsk...sweetheart, you know I hate liars'' said Eugene as he narrowed his eyes at you and he lifted your chin with his index finger to make you look at his cold stern gaze which didn't calm your nerves any. "You know...we do so much for you and yet you behave like a little brat. You need to be punished. You need to learn that there are consequences for your actions sweetheart'' said Hangyul as a sickly smile was plastered across his face which made the bile rise to your throat. "Wh...what do you mean?" you asked them as your heart raced madly and hammered wildly out of pure fear from their words. You felt your blood run cold, this was the first time you've known fear as you stood in front of two monsters who were very much capable of making people's lives hell. "Don't fret for now, naive darling...just rest. Everything will be clear soon'' cooed Eugene as you felt a prick in your neck and you could feel your vision and consciousness reducing. The last thing you remembered was them kissing your cheek before you managed to fully black out in their arms

You woke up a few hours later and you instantly knew they'd injected some kind of sedative to make you feel drowsy and weak. You could still feel the after effects which made you groggy but you were still able to decipher and comprehend what was going on around you and needless to say, you were not liking the situation one bit. "Ah...how wonderful, you're awake my dear...now, we know you might have been feeling a bit lonely and bored, which is why we'll play a nice game. A fun one which we think you might enjoy'' said Hangyul with a smile on his face, that didn't match the sadistic gleam shining in his eyes. "What do you mean?" you asked hesitantly as you looked at them with fear in your eyes. They both loved the way your pretty soft lips quivered in fright from the mere sight of them, it gave them such a rush of power as they found it rather endearing and adorable

They led you to the living room and made you sit in between them on the couch as they switched on the TV and 3 of your best friends were in a white room, blindfolded and gagged and tied up as your eyes widened in horror. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!? LET THEM GO!" you screeched on top of your lungs as you glared at both of them. "You look so adorable when you try to be intimidating my dear, but you need to understand that your actions have consequences...'' cooed Hangyul as he had a sickly grin on his face and stroked your hair gently. "You know...I've always despised your pathetic little friends. They're like flies you know...but I don't really blame them for wanting to be around you, your personality is sweeter than honey...of course, we aren't really THAT heartless either, my dear...'' said Eugene as he smirked at you. "We'll give you a choice, since we're feeling...merciful at the moment. We simply cannot stand seeing you so upset...'' whispered Hangyul as his lips teasingly brushed against the nape of your neck

"What choice?" you asked as you raised a brow apprehensively. You REALLY did NOT like where this was going. "A choice for you to save one of those annoying little pathetic friends of yours. Which friend is more dear to you? Which friend would you be willing to save to be able to sacrifice the other two insignificant little pests'' asked Eugene as his smirk widened when he saw you squirm and look uncomfortable at the situation. They both loved it when you started squirming and felt pleased that they had such an effect on you. "Are you both insane? I won't choose between my friends! Please, let them go! They have families, they have their lives to live for! I'm the one who should be punished, I'll accept whatever punishment you give me but leave them alone'' you pleaded with a desperate expression on your face. "How endearing, you have such a noble heart...'' laughed Hangyul as his tone was laced with slight mockery and amusement. "How noble indeed but no, my dear. They've also had the audacity to get close to you and look at you and be with you...time's running out my dear. Choose before we choose for you. Tick...tock...'' said Eugene as he held your hand in his while you stared at the TV screen in front of you with tears streaming down your face, the fates of your dear friends lives resting in your hands

"Please don't do this...please...I'm begging you'' you whispered as you sniffed and more tears ran down your face. "You need to learn your lesson my dear. Now choose'' said Eugene with a slightly stern voice as you shook your head. "Not to worry then, we'll pick for you'' spoke Hangyul as he pulled out a remote and pressed the number 3 on it. The room in which your friends were trapped in glowed red as the number 3 was visible on the wall. A few men with masks grabbed one of your friends and twisted your friend's neck and you could literally hear the sound of their bones snapping before they fell down to the ground limp and lifeless. "NO!" you screamed as you flailed around and tried to escape from their strong grasp but no avail. "Please let them go! Please...'' you pleaded as your tears continued to flow. "Awww...darling don't cry...this is for your own good you know'' whispered Hangyul as he kissed your tears away and Eugene caressed your other cheek with his cold fingers in a nimble manner

Eugene pressed another button on the remote as the room glowed 1 and you could see the men in the masks drag your other friend and they pulled out sharp knives and stabbed your friend till the ground was covered in a crimson pool of your dead friend's blood while you watched on with horror, angry at yourself for being so pathetic that you couldn't save your friends from their deaths. "You...you said you'd spare one at least. Please just spare the last'' you pleaded weakly, hoping against hope that they'd concede and give in. "Hm...let us think about it for a moment'' mumbled Hangyul as he tapped his chin playfully as Eugene spoke "I don't think they really deserve it though...would you like to do the honor?" asked Eugene as he handed the remote to Hangyul. You tried to snatch the remote from his hand as Eugene restrained you by pulling you onto his lap and caged your body with his arms while you struggled to free yourself from him. The button was pressed and the last of your friends fell down to the ground lifeless and dead as a single bullet to the forehead painted the ground of that room with the spilled blood of your dear friends

You sat there still and motionless as you just witnessed the deaths of your dearest friends and hated that you were powerless to stop it from happening as silent tears streamed down your cheeks and you trembled slightly. "We would never hurt you my love...I hope you've understood your lesson now and the consequences of your actions...'' whispered Eugene as they both kissed your cheeks, sealing your fate to be with them forever....

It would've been when The Hunt for Big Deal initially started once Eugene had the meeting with the other executives of workers had gathered so he could re-introduce Xiaolung back into the group. He told the others that they could begin the hunt while he went off to go 'tie up some loose ends.' The Only ones who knew what those "loose ends" actually were were Yuseong and Mandeok. Those loose ends being you. You hadn't actually been called to the meeting oddly enough as one of his fellow executives. Turns out, you had been a friend of Big Deal, specifically Jake Kim. You had gone undercover for him initially when you joined the fourth affiliate with Samuel Seo. Personally, when Samuel had joined workers, you had followed him on your own hunch. Jake had been dealing with the gambling scams at that point and landed his stupid ass in jail. Everyone had focused their attention onto hostel, especially between God Dog and Hostel, they really didn't seem to care too much about what workers let alone Samuel was doing. So, you went undercover without them knowing, it's not like anyone would be able to know you came from Big Deal. You didn't live on the street, and you only protected the street because had helped you out one time back in middle school. You doubt he even remembers it and you kick yourself to today you still use that as an excuse to put yourself in danger. Like right now. Samuel had given away your position, most likely to not make himself look more of a suspicious character for whatever his goals were; however you worked your way all the way to workers second affiliate where you were able to get in contact with Jake again and update him about everything.

During your short reconnect with Jake, you had informed him that you were certain that workers was going to go after Hostel soon and once they did, Big Deal would certainly be next. And thus you decided from there on you would continue to spy for Jake to get any information you could that could warn him about the moves he would need to make. However, Eugene started to involve you in less and less meetings. You hadn't noticed at first, you were assuming Eugene was just too busy managing and securing the first affiliate was locked down tight. But you began noticing looks from Yuseong and Mandeok on occasion when they thought you weren't looking. Hell, even Samuel was giving you different looks here and there. They almost seemed like a warning that you unfortunately didn't pick up on until it was too late. You were rushing around Eugenes flat, trying to find something-anything really. You've realized you had to hurry up your ass to find something substantial about what Eugene was doing behind your back. Because not only was Big Deals safety on the line, so was yours. You didn't even get into workers because of your particular strength or fighting style. You just simply knew how to do business well, how to play the game as they say. But as Eugene would say, you've bet the wrong cards.

You froze in your tracks when you heard the front door open, your instincts took over you, making you make a mad dash to some room. It seemed to be some sort of at home office and you rushed underneath the desk, pulling your legs close to your chest and trying to even your breathing. Your heart rate began to quicken as you heard his footsteps coming up the stairs, slowly making their way to the room you were in.

"Hiding again (y/n)?" He spoke to himself, a small chuckle following his words. "You'd think someone as smart as you would have realized that I can track your phone" Your blood ran cold as you could practically hear the smile in his tone. "Although, I can't tell what room you're in, it only gives me a general coordinate for your location." He began to slowly walk around the room, seeming to be inspecting if any of his books or documents had been tampered with. "Although..." He started with a pause, picking up the manilla folder you had left on the filing cabinet when you realized it had nothing important. "I do like a good game of hide and seek, it's just...unfortunate." He set the folder down, walking over to his desk before yanking his chair from in front of the desk, making you gasp as your eyes widened with fear. He squatted down in front of you with a smile, tilting his head to the side as his eyes met yours. "You don't know how to hide very well (y/n). And don't even think of running, I know you're at least smart enough to not test my words whether or not you believe that my brother is standing by the front door to prevent you from trying run." You swallowed the lump in your throat, looking at him fearfully and you tried to scoot back away from him further, only pressing yourself into the corner of the desk. "You look like a deer in headlights" Eugene cooed, chuckling before reaching his hand out to you. You didn't want to see what he was about to do, immediately shutting your eyes as you turned your head away only to be met with a hand gently caressing your cheek. "Oh don't act like that. I'm not going to hurt you. after all, you have a lot to tell me don't you my little toy?"

It turns out The S-Classes That I Raised has a manhwa too. Nice!

I think they’ve added a few things? Was the monster attack during Yerim’s recruitment always there? Did I just forget? They also added in the starting section about how Yoojin came to be attacked by the dragon. 

In terms of the subtler difference, the manhwa had to drop some of the details about Yoojin’s mental state, like how badly the memory transfer of Final Acquittal messes him up and his reaction to realizing that not just his brother but all the other people who died with him in various dungeons are now alive. I don’t think it’s a bad change, since adaptations always have to make some changes, but it’s something I noticed. 

Another thing that really surprised me is how clean cut and pure Yoohyun looks? 

I expected him to look much edgier, but he really does look like a good boy in front of his brother (don’t let his looks fool you, he’s not talking about some plot-related danger, he’s spouting yandere crazy boyfriend nonsense here). 

It’s still only up to the announcement about Yoojin’s “tamer skill,” so it’s not far along, but it’s really nice to see.

Kim Dokja, Cale Henituse/Kim Rok Soo, and Han Yoojin all have the ability to make people become very protective over them (read: yandere) as well as pacify them from going out of control. But as soon as they are put in enough danger that makes them faint, their respective friends/families goes berserk and all of hell breaks loose. 

Most noticeable examples, when they do something very reckless that they end up fainting and the companions surrounding them goes into a mental breakdown by enacting revenge against the source.
