Decar’s lips curl into a slow, predatory smirk, just enough to show a hint of his canines. “Well, then, let’s make sure she doesn’t quit after a week, shall we?” His vivid green eyes gleam under the bright fluorescent lights as he watches you take a tentative step closer to a row of sleek, whirring machines. Your gaze darts around, clearly lost and unsure and so blissfully unaware of their scrutiny.
“Boys,” Nara speaks up finally. Her voice cuts through the clang of weights like a pleasant melody. “You will scare her away.”
“Well, do you have a plan?” the orc asks, arching an eyebrow in challenge, though, he already knows the answer, of course. Nara always has a plan.

The minotaur rolls his eyes, though his lips twitch with the ghost of a smile. “We are in public,” he points out, glancing sideways at the orc, whose knowing grin only deepens.
“Exactly,” the male replies. “You know Nara.”
“Look,” Decar interrupts, nodding toward you and Nara when the succubus turns her head ever so slightly to glance back at their group with a sly curl at the corner of her lips. Your gaze follows hers, landing on them for a brief, uncertain moment. “It’s our time, guys.”
Every part of the gym buzzes with life. Seasoned members move around the equipment with familiarity while the newcomers wander around, watching and trying to get through their “newbie” embarrassment.

“Y/N just told me she isn’t sure where to start with her workout.”
The orc has to bite his lip to stifle a comment, his gaze flicking from Nara to you with a glimmer of mischief. “Is that true?”
You nod a bit meekly, feeling self-conscious under the weight of their attention. “It all looks a bit overwhelming,” you admit, gesturing vaguely toward the expansive gym filled with unfamiliar equipment and bustling energy.
“It’s understandable,” Diran says with a reassuring nod. He is calm and grounded, a stark contrast to the others. “We all started somewhere.”
“That’s what I told her,” Nara interjects, flashing a grin as she effortlessly reclaims control of the conversation. “So, I offered to help her out.”
Kiron raises a brow, a sly look creeping onto his face as he exchanges a glance with the succubus. “Oh?”

The woman smirks at the tiger. “I know, right?”
The male crosses his arms, his tail swishing idly behind him. “I could show you some boxing moves on Wednesday,” he offers. “It’s a great way to build confidence.”
“And I can show you around the machines on Thursday,” the minotaur adds. “They can be tricky if you are new to them.”
The orc’s lips curl into a slow, dark grin. His tusks catch the bright lights from above. “And when you are all stretched and ready, we can end the week with some weightlifting on Friday.”

Break Up Service - Back to the Basics
Break Up Service's color scheme is basic, and I mean that in the best way possible. It's primary colors: red, yellow, and blue, so Boss, in his darkness, sticks out.
While, strangely, Jued is quickly proving that she has what it takes to fit perfectly in this story.
She is bright. She can endure. She has moxie!
And she is moldable. Therefore she is the perfect person to fit in to her new job.
Because this red place is broken, and no matter how much the co-founder tries to put it back together, he can't get Boss back to his old self.
The company was founded on the basic premise of breaking up people beyond repair, but in the process, it began breaking people too, Boss included.
So the co-founder hires the bright and happy Jued to watch brooding and distant Boss and keep him on track.
All the employees immediately establish how Boss is the dark cloud of the office, and how he will try to kill her light. They harp on and on about his bad mood, and how the best remedy to beat the beast is to simply ignore him.
Yet this Yellow Yal cannot ignore him, and she is too bright to be ignored herself. Instead, she will slowly become the only thing he can focus on. She will become the target.
However, Boss adopts the office's procedure; he puts on his red headphones and looks at his red phone in an attempt to ignore the newbie and focus on the job because if we ignore the issues and focus on work, the things we are trying to ignore will simply go away, right?

But the problem is that Boss did not ignore her. He saw her cry after being broken up with and offered his help, and he gave her his business card. Oat, in his yellow, points this out. Everyone keeps referring to Boss as a bad guy, but here he is, a good guy. Even more, he is kind.
And since Jued has brought her own yellow stool to sit on, it's apparent she won't be going away anytime soon.
She is trying to level up in brown, so she is willing to find space even when Boss refuses to make space for her.
So the Black Brooder decides to fight fire with fire, or in this case, happy with happy, and instead of being the bad guy, he decides to appear as a good guy, a kind guy.
Thankfully, the job allows him a great opportunity to make this happen in the form of a red match made in fitness heaven.
We have physical trainer First, in his yellow, and yoga extraordinaire, in her neutrals.
And they are the perfect pair to demonstrate why the basics matter so much.
So Jued hops on the back of the Black Brooder's bike and officially begins her first assignment.
She is being initiated into the red company of broken hearts, and her first task is getting in, literally. She tries to every possible way, except the easiest — asking to get in. Basic.
After that, Boss not only monitors her progress, but also sabotages her because Jued's entire approach is one of kindness. She asks First to help her. She tries to befriend Best. She is being too nice for this dirty business.
And she doesn't turn red until she takes a play out of Boss' book. She decides to use her body to get the intel.
She is embracing the red.
And her efforts pay off, as they catch Best red-handed with durian in hand.
But the thing is, Jued didn't break the couple up by being a Red Rascal. She did it by being her usual Yellow Yal self. She went to First with kindness and told him that sometimes people lie because they don't want to hurt the ones they love, but we should make the people we love comfortable enough to tell us the truth. And this is why they break up. They lacked basic communication. They couldn't even be honest with each other.
Boss deals with dishonest people every day, so he believes he has to be part of the deceit in order to break them up.
But honesty and kindness got the job done as Jued took this breaking up business in a new direction, which is seen as she walks back to the company after the job is done.
She proved she has what it takes to work at this red company, but she did it in her own bright and colorful way.
And I think this is why we will continue to see the yellow pop up in each assignment. Jued needs to apply her special brand of moxie to breaking people up without breaking them down the way this company has been doing.
She is the opposite of Boss. She is the good guy to his bad guy. She is the bright light to Boss's dark cloud. She is the sunflower to Boss's black rose (it's on his desk).
And now Boss can't escape her. Her bright demeanor has him surrounded him. Her basic approach to breaking people up by making them see they shouldn't be together in the first place has intrigued him. He wanted to quit the red business, but now, strangely enough, without noticing, he is all in.

Not a studyblr thing but I'm tentatively thinking about signing up for some yoga classes as someone who has never taken yoga before (but practiced a little at home years ago) and is a total couch potato that doesn't want to be a total couch potato anymore. Does anyone have any tips/ advice for an inexperienced newbie?
Not necessarily on yoga itself but rather on things like finding the right place I guess?

Week 1 ~ Introducing Sasi ~ Monday
I end my call with my dad because I am here to do yoga with others and the session was starting and so I find myself in what is a relatively simple room. Mats placed out for each person and a big window off to the side showcasing the beauty of Tomarang. A perfect place to stretch and get to know the limitations of your body a little better.
The room fills quickly with people just like me. Newbies. Each one taking their mat and trying to go through the motions of the mentor and most of them failing.
Failure is good. Never forget that. You learn through it but only if you live through it and the girl next to me was learning a lot more than others.
She was groaning and grunting and just in general struggling through the whole thing.
When it was finally over and we were allowed to rest I could hear the biggest of sighs come from her. It's over, that sound said, and her body seemed to thank her for it.

abby was a fitness instructor for women, always having a heart to fulfill her goals through her work. she liked the safety within the group she always instructed, new ones coming and going. incense always traveling through the air slowly, following the groups movements, a request by a old woman named ruth. she said it would ‘fit the fibe’.
the majority of women there were either old, or women who never payed abby any mind. rich women who didn’t care much, like their husbands, or pregnant women. abby had taken it upon herself as well— to take the role of a mother. she was now taking care of lev full time, and working after he’s dropped off for school.
she’d truly never pay any mind to any of the women, all having their own stories and experiences— not until you came in.
abby was already pissed off her assistant added another yogini to the list, knowing there wasn’t enough space. and to top it all off, the newbie was a beginner— so she had to pay extra attention to her. to put the cherry on top of her (already) horrible morning, newbie didn’t have the money and would pay next week.
you arrived late in the most god awful attire— leggings too tight, stupid muffin socks, and a baggy cotton hoodie. you were lost, taking a seat at the very back of the room while the women were in child’s pose. she’d never seen anyone so stiff before, either. at least you were pretty.
there was always a reason someone new came, but another reason to not come back. you weren’t challenging yourself enough, not easing up. she knew you’d never come back if she didn’t help you.
she came over to you more sooner than not, a slight scowl that you knew she’d never let up before. you felt a pang of embarrassment as she taught you different poses, teaching you how to relax as she introduced herself.
you could tell you were being a bother, since she was sighing a lot. maybe it was hot, or… you weren’t sure.
“y/n,” she sighed, “take that hoodie off. aren’t you sweating?” she said, looking at you.
“isn’t sweating good?” you said, chuckling nervously as you looked back at her. she looked at you with indifference, and feeling pressured, you slowly took it off, feeling warm shame creep up your neck. it settled on your cheeks as she flipped you, hands everywhere on spots you were insecure about, hands warmer than the blankets you rotted in. and you let her.
you smelled sweet. you felt soft after she was done with you, moldable into something she could fix. the soft rolls on your back and pudge unlocked something deep within her— and she couldn’t place it.
“puppy pose,” she sighed out, almost an order. you looked back at her, confused, of course.
“um…” you said, unsure of what she was asking. because, well, you were.
she pushed you onto your knees without question, pulling a small gasp out of you. she fixed your arms in front of you, going behind you to fix your horrible posture.
you felt her hips connect to yours, her warm, big hands spreading across your lower back to push you down more. the pose made you uncomfortable, yet vulnerable, stretching every possible ligament in your body. it exhausted you before relaxing you.
abby had long forgotten to change to another pose, too busy on the sight in front of her. it had been more than five minutes, and god— a woman physically couldn’t refuse a meal sat right in front of her. she slightly gripped the dips in your hips, molding you, fingers stretched over the outlines god had created, knuckles going white as she slowly felt her hips grind.
surely it isn’t the works of yoga, right? you stayed in your position, her hands fixing your arch every now and then. it was awkward, because you’ve never seen any sort of rocking in yoga.
“are— are you sure this is beginner?” you chirped quietly, trying not to break the solemn silence within the women. you felt her switch hands, her breathing rigid. one hand was on your thigh now.
“it isn’t, sweets,” she grunted behind you, “but we do this every class. get used to it,” she told you, inching closer to you.
she swore she’s never seen anyone as rude as you. arriving late, then questioning her? it was just as bad as what she was doing. she knew she’d get in trouble, maybe even lose her clientele. she couldn’t help it, not when you were rocking your hips, and when you kept your place. like you had been taught.
even after the other women switched positions for free time, she kept you there. you couldn’t tell if you were just sweaty from her, or if you were so touch starved you were wet just from a few poses by your pretty yoga instructor. you felt her hands bring you closer by the hips, her breathing ragged as her hips tightened against yours. this wasn’t real, surely—
her low groan ripped you out of your thoughts immediately. and at the same time, you gasped. her hips pulled back sensitively, and back again. she didn’t expect to cum in her boxers from some newbie. she felt her breathing get lighter, her hands slowly letting go of you. she let her hands glide across your thighs before she pulled back, making sure no one saw either of you, taking one last look at you before heading back to her position in front.
you stared at her as she walked away, unsure as to what had unfolded. you sat there for a few minutes after, not being able to comprehend it. did she really—?

at the end of the session, all the women were leaving in small groups, not noticing a new arrival to their yoga class. you paid them no mind, preferring it that way, packing up and heading to her office. she had been sat at her office, glasses low on her nose as the computer light lit her face up.
softly knocking the door, you looked at her, blush spread across your cheeks as you handed her a envelope full of cash.
“for todays session,” you told her, touching the curls on the back of your neck. you held onto your yoga bag like it was a lifeline.
she took a moment to appreciate the payment now, making her life easier. and how you had decided to keep your hoodie off, like she asked, and…
the pink carabiner sat on your bag decorated with keychains and rings.
“do i have to schedule for next class?” you asked her sweetly, voice coming out like honey.
she knew you’d be a problem.

Hey I need some support. I live with mates and they’re all very into the gym and I’m not as into it. They keep trying to get me to come with them to the gym since I’ve gained a little weight at uni and lost my abs. Problem is I’d rather just stay home and watch tv. Also, I don’t understand what they mean with macros and WOD and HIIT stuff it just makes no sense to me. I wish I could just focus on that stuff and understand them better.
You go to the gym with your friends rather listlessly. Today there are both WOD and HIIT classes. You check it out. It looks incredibly strenuous. And the participants in the classes look pretty darn fit too…. Still, something distracts you… Sounds like you're in a blacksmith shop. Blows from iron to iron. And loud groans. You follow the sounds. They become louder. A strange smell is in the air. Musk. Sweat. And iron. The free weight area in the gym. The place where the big beefcakes work out. You pick up a dumbbell. Damn heavy. But that smell of iron. Electrifying. You start with barbell curls. One of the beefcakes comes up to you. He asks you if it's the first time in your life you've held a barbell. At least it looks like it. And laughs. You say that you are actually doing something like this for the first time. Fuck, says the bodybuilder. He wouldn't have thought that. You'd be really well built for that. He gives you a few tips and says goodbye after a few minutes with a fist bump. When you're done with the curls, you do a double biceps pose. Fuck, yeah! The training pays off. Next up, dips for the triceps. With an iron chain as an extra weight. Your groans join the chorus of your gym buddies. You've been here every day for five years. If you don't like the noise, go somewhere else.
Thank God you have time today. On bad days, you have to finish your workout after two hours. Today you even have time to give tips to a few newbies. Or to have a chat with one or the other bruh. Suddenly it gets loud. One of these classes is over. Pilates, yoga, HIIT or some shit like that. The wretched crossfitters. Nobody needs them… But you can hardly tell that to your pals from college…. After all, it's thanks to them that you started training in the first place…
Fuck, you've been addicted to the gym for over ten years. Long before you even started college…. Eh, before you started working as a backhoe driver. College! Absurd thought. Takes up too much time that you can't spend at the gym. That would really suck!

Have one final snippet from the Hallmark fic. It's finished, I am hoping to post it a chapter per day on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, depending on factors. But it's coming soon either way!

Carlos appears beside him with a tray of festive looking drinks, something red and fizzy in margarita glasses adorned with sprigs of rosemary. Marjan has an orange box in her hands and nudges Paul out of the way so she can begin to set the game up on the coffee table.
“I’ve never played this before,” TK tells them, before he remembers Marjan already knew that.
“Don’t worry, it’s fun.”
“We’ll teach you,” Paul adds. “It isn’t that complicated. And we play on teams so Carlos can help you.”
“Hey, who says I want the newbie on my team?” Carlos asks.
TK puts a faux-offended hand to his chest and Carlos winks at him, holding the tray out so Nancy can take a glass.
“Oh, no, that one’s TK’s,” he says, turning it on his palm to present her with a different one.
They all look the same, although when TK takes a closer look he notices a blue rubber band around the stem of the first glass Nancy had tried to take.
“Ooh, a special drink for his new man,” Nancy teases.
“Pull up some chairs, guys,” Marjan calls from where she’s settled cross-legged onto the floor.
“I don’t know how you sit like that,” Paul remarks as he tugs over a striped sofa chair.
“Prayer and yoga,” Marjan answers.
Carlos finishes making the rounds with the tray, getting to TK last. A few feet away from where the others are gathering, TK feels his cheeks flush with embarrassment as he tentatively asks, “Um, what is it?”
“Cranberry juice and ginger ale.” Carlos lifts the remaining glass up and quietly, so only TK can hear him, says, “I made you one without vodka. I can add some, if you want, though. I wasn’t sure.”
“Oh.” TK blinks.
He takes the drink, their fingers brushing over the stem of the glass as he does. It occurs to him that he never told Carlos he didn’t drink. Carlos knows so little about his history; TK revealed in a low moment outside the diner that he’d been to rehab, but that is the extent of Carlos’s knowledge on the subject. It strikes TK as surprisingly thoughtful, both that he remembered and that he made TK his own drink so TK wouldn’t have to turn a cocktail down in front of everyone, and he feels the warmth of that spreading down his neck and stirring in his stomach.
He looks up, realizing he’s gone too long without speaking and finding uncertainty in Carlos’s dark eyes. TK shakes his head and smiles. “No, this is … thank you.”
Carlos returns his smile, the slightest bit of tension leaving his shoulders as he lifts his arm and briefly rubs TK between the shoulder blades.
