“Where is he?! What’s wrong with him?”

“I don’t know,” said Doctor Song. She appeared amid the smoke, a dark shape with an arm flung over her head. “He won’t let me close.”

Then the white curled away from Druk and Sokka saw the prone body clutched in his great claws. A horrible jolt went through his spine.

“What does he need?” he said, voice steadier than he felt.

“I need to get up close to check his meridians,” said Song. She took a small jar from her bag. “This should stabilise him for the time being.”

Sokka pursed his lips. He looked up at the great draconic face looming above him, hissing protectively over Zuko. “Easy, Druk, easy,” he murmured. He held out a hand for Druk to sniff, resisted the urge to flinch when the great dragon snorted burning steam over his hand. 

There was a gasp behind him, quickly shushed. He ignored it. “Druk, it’s me. You know me. You know all of us. You’ll let me see him, right? He needs our help.”

The dragon bared his teeth.

Jetko fic idea - DILF Zuko

They reunite years after the war in Ba Sing Se and many things have changed. Worst of all Zuko went from "kinda cool and cute, mysterious emo boy" to "tall, handsome and competent".

Jet gets smacked over the head with his old crush like a hammer. In his usual stalkery fashion he insist that he must keep a close eye on the Fire Lord, to make sure he is actually as good as he says he is.

And then. Turns out that Zuko has a kid now and it doesn't really mean much to Jet other than "possibly makes him less likely to want to irresponsibly hook up, but I can still try".

That is until he sees Zuko with Izumi and how Zuko takes care of her and really tries so hard to be a good parent. Watching Zuko gently scoop her up and patiently answering a thousand toddler questions is just too damn cute. With horror, Jet goes from lusting after the Fire Lord (which is already really, really bad) to having mushy warm feelings that he wants nothing to do with.

Not to mention that Jet and Izumi get along great. Jet keeps sneaking her sweets and is teaching her how to climb up trees. Toddlers are surprisingly good at that with their little tightgripping hands. (Zuko almost has a coniption when he sees this).

When Jet wakes up from a dream about being a disgustingly domestic little family with cuddles and step-dad-Jet, he throws his pillow at the wall.

Jet sitting in Zuko's apartment that morning banging his forehead against the table. Izumi: Do you have a boo-boo? *pats his head* Jet: Nah, I'm fine kid. Just tired. Zuko walks in, only in his nightrobe and there's just... a lot of chest showing, okay? Zuko: Morning, what are you up to princess? *scoops up giggling Izumi* Jet, hiding his face in his arms: I don't wanna look at your face right now. Zuko thinking: what did I do?

About Michi's daughter and Ty Lemon, Azula's traitor friends, I only know what she told me while the servants did our nails and washed our hair. Some unimportant anecdotes from their days at the Academy and war reports. There's not much to say about them, they're pretty normal. Azula always had an innate facility for analyzing people, and knowing how and where each person would be most useful. Also to classify paperwork according to its urgency. She started when she was two years old, and couldn't even use the royal seal yet so the only way for her to sign her official documents was to dip her little hand in ink and press it onto the paper. Brilliant from her earliest age, as princes are supposed to be. (Zuko couldn't spell 'Conquest' until he was thirteen).

Azula said many things. It was evident that she had a certain affection for them, even though I had always taught her that it was not advisable to trust anyone (And I was right, given that both of them and my own son betrayed us). But anyway, that is of public knowledge. You asked me for little-known anecdotes about Michi's daughter and Ty Lemon. Here are some of the things Azula mentioned:

Ty Lemon also had some interest in Zuko when they were children, but she never did anything because everyone knew that Zuko had a preference for Michi's daughter.

Once Azula and Michi's daughter mistook Ty Lemon for one of her sisters, and she didn't speak to them for a week. I really wish I didn't know this.

Azula once put laxatives in their food just to time how long it would take them to go to the bathroom, in case they were attacked by surprise.

Michi's daughter and Ty Lemon had a big fight over a fictional drama that was popular ten years ago called Moonlight, about a love triangle between a boring, normal girl, a bloodsucking spirit named Ed Wan, and a wolf spirit named Yei Co. Michi's daughter was Team Ed Wan and Ty Lemon was Team Yei Co. Again, I really wish I didn't know this, but I'm absolutely sure it was Ursa who wrote the story.

Azula was convinced that Ty Lemon stole our silver cutlery when she came to play, so we had to eat with plastic cutlery when she was around.

Michi's daughter went through a phase where she dressed exclusively in black and wore an eyebrow piercing when they were at the Academy. I don't know why Azula thought it was information I should know.

And I suppose many other things must have happened, since Azula talked about them very often. But my patience had a limit. I didn't need confirmation from her to come to the conclusion that Ty Lemon has some issues and Michi's daughter was a victim of Zuko's manipulation.

Jetko 2024 week: Poorly Kept secrets Ch2

Prompt: Post Canon Rating: T Words: 8058, complete Summary: Jet and Zuko run into each other years after the war and although their initial meeting is just as violent as how they left off, they are both older now. Not wiser necessarily, but good enough to at least have a little talk. And maybe discuss more than just current events...

Oh and then there's the fact that Zuko is a dad now. Izumi just adds to the chaos.

Chapter 2 summary: Is it really an old crush when you old feelings start coming back to life? Jet is out of his depth here and who would have thought he would end up befriending the heir to the Fire Nation.

Nothing is going like he expected it to and he should really have known not to go drinking with Zuko again.

also completely unrelated but someone tagged this as dilf zuko??? i know from personal experience that facial hair can grow at any age after puberty lol. doesnt matter that i specifically have a thing for facial hair, which i think is obvious to everyone in my life who has interacted w me and my very hot boyfriend. personally i hc that zuko would do as much as possible to distance his image from his father, and so that means wearing more thai inspired clothes for his mother (who i also hc as thai) and growing facial hair as soon as possible to resemble his uncle.
