If its not too invasive, can I ask for brushes or other resources you may recommend? I'm plenty aware they don't make an artist good, but I'm always on the hunt for the perfect ones!

Oh, I am always on what feels like a never-ending hunt for brushes, I only use Procreate these days so these are Procreate brushes, at the minute I am really really enjoying these brushes called Frappe Pencil I love The Frappe Pencil Neo and Double Frappe smooth, you can see me using them in the last sketches I posted I think I solely used them in the drawings of Dhalia! I also really like the water-coloured brushes from Fatima Mandouh. There are some brushes that I also use a lot that are from paid brush packs like the TGTS - Scratchy squeegee and GvW InkAmigo Waterson Dry (that's the one I use to draw Horizon Walkers) the Jingsketch brushes are also really nice. I also like a few of the base brushes from Procreate, I love Nikko Rull, but I did edit mine a bit to be a wee bit more textured, I also like Eaglehawk, Tinderbox and Oberon. Resouces wise I use Magic Poser if I am having trouble getting a pose down, as well as taking reference photos of myself. I also use an app called Freeform that is kind like an inspo board where you can see everything at once, I use that for like background character outfit references and city references. I hope that's helpful! I tend to jump pencils quite a lot, so if there is ever an illustration i do that you want the breakdown of what pencils I used if I can remember which one it was I am happy to share!

I should probably mention this by saying that m.u.g.e.n. Is an epilepsy NIGHTMARE. Seriously AT LEAST 99.9% of edited characters (and just… characters in general) have extremely flashy moves that last for several frames a second. and sometimes if you’re unlucky, you might get caught in a character’s attack pattern where they might execute several flashy moves in succession one after the other.

Unfortunately, there aren't any official videos stating all the lore. However, there are lore summaries/guides on how to get started made by fans. Maybe one of those could help you? I’d personally recommend checking out @/Luckysevens blog, especially their post ‘so, you’ve heard about the mechanisms, but have no idea what they are or how to get into them?’  . Or their updated version of that post: 'mechanisms basics & lore'. 

The fandom wiki also has some good information on the lore, especially regarding the albums. 

I also once answered a question about ‘recommended listening order’, which doesn’t really go into lore, but could be useful if you're lost on where to start/go next.

i will go through the scene of the battle between the dragons, and in this situation Y/n did not die but was only slightly injured but not significantly. when Y/n returned to Dragonstone, she didn't want to meet Jace or anyone, perhaps in this moment when she spent all her time on herself, thinking for herself, she somehow decided to end this marriage and she also asked her father not to try to withdraw his alliance because of her respect for Queen Rhaenyra and also because of she think Rhaenyra is the rightful heir to the iron throne, not Aegon.

while waiting for a response from her father, there was a cold war between Jace and her as things gradually became more tense not a single word between them, but at the most devasted moment, Y/n finally found comfort when she became pregnant, when she learned about the babe, that the only person that Y/n told was Queen Rhaenyra, Y/n also told the truth about the absent marriage between her and Jace that only happened in 1 month like that with Rhaenyra.

If there is one lesson I'll take from my ex, it's that filed nails are so much more important than clipped nails. the controversial laid to rest/plagiarist line is in the book sort of. and i’m sorry to say it’s laid to rest. they did swap up some other lines (side note: why did they mess with who’s going to believe a talking head get a job in a sideshow) so this could mean nothing it is just interesting.

this line was crazy.

TLDR: not the greatest piece of literature but pretty fun and adds some cool background information for the characters. would reccomended.

how i make color palettes of my ocs before i pick one, an art tutorial?

hello, whenever i made a new design for myself i found a way to make lots of color palettes and pick one! i see this method more in paintings and rendering but not much on character designs? here are some examples i used that on.

it helps me so much when i feel experimental with colors. here are what you need

a wip character design. sketchy or pixel art works better since the colors can have some anti aliasing issues

a program with gradient maps. i'm using clip studio paint but ik photoshop also has it. like i said this is used more on photos or paintings

and here's what you do!

draw your character. i'm making a new fursona for myself but anything should work.

2. decide on their markings/color placement in grayscale. i recommend doing grayscale so you can easily see the values. split your grays into however colors you want. i like doing 5-6 the most. i reccomend duplicating the color layer if you wanna try multiple palettes.

3. this part is program dependent but in csp's case go to edit > tonal correction > gradient map.

4. i made a few default 5 color gradient maps but if don't use gradients like me i reccomend making the graph like this so they become solid color. split the map into however many colors you used. i'll add a color to the red-orange one bc my character has 6 grays.

5. replace the colors by clicking below specified color. it all depends on your creativity and what you want. experiment til you like it.

6. fuck around, try stuff, put them together to see if you like any of em. i made 9 to see if i can focus on one of them and i actually ended up loving the bottom right. it really makes them shiny

7. (optional) if you like a palette you can further and play with colors while keeping the palette. you can use color balance (in the same menu as gradient map in csp) or layers to mess around, have fun!

also a color tip because people seem to compliment that a lot in my art: digital art has millions of colors! don't be afraid of using wacky tones unless you're going pantone. if you want to get something physical i recommend being open to alternative colors as they tend to be more limited. i know whoever is doing it will try their best to keep the colors close.

color theory is something i don't...care much about mostly because this is something i'm doing for fun. i'll consider it in professional work.

first off, thank you !! :D

Secondly, I highly sugguest grazing! You simply eat snacks and drink whatever you want ~all day~. The key is though, you have to keep eating. I snack constantly, and it has majorly increased my appitite. I usually steer clear of only eating sweets though, because that is just a quick way to get sick. I balance fruits and veggies through carby and sugary snacks like cookies and granola bars. I keep chips in rotation at all times as well!!

I would also highly reccomend adding things to every meal or snack. I love applesauce, but I don't eat it anymore without adding a spoonfull of sugar (or two) and lots of honey, and chocolate chips. I add extra butter to everything, and sauces to things sauces go with. Those extra calories really add up over time!

But most important of all: go at your own pace <3 Weight will not appear out of nowhere, afterall. It takes time, and honestly a bit of effort. But if you are ready to gain, you're set!
